You can take a bus from Shangrao Passenger Transport Center or Shangrao Railway Station to the Waishuangxi Cableway in the southern part of Sanqing Mountain. The ticket price is 27 yuan/person and it takes about 1 and a half hours. Then you can buy tickets for the cableway (245 yuan/person). In fact, you can also walk up the mountain, but the road is very long. It is better to take the cableway. After getting off the cableway, you can climb the mountain. Here I need to explain that my route is: West Coast-Sanqing Palace-East Coast-Nanqing Garden-Wanshouyuan. Generally speaking, I have seen all of them! I spent two days resting in Sanqing Palace for one night. When I went there in March, the weather was still a bit cold, especially at night, so I was forced to stay in a not very good hotel very close to Sanqing Palace for one night (260 yuan). The conditions were very bad, and the quilt felt wet, but it was better to have an electric blanket! At least it is better than camping in the wild! I have a Feixian Stone near Sanqing Palace. It is very good to watch the sunset on it. The scenery is very beautiful! I also took some star trails at night! The morning was not as good as expected. Watching the sunrise depends on the weather so we couldn't see it as there were too many clouds!

There are four entrances to Sanqing Mountain. We chose the Waishuangxi Service Area (South Route), which is the best choice for hiking. There is also a cable car up the mountain. At first, we simply thought that we could enjoy the scenery without climbing stairs after the cable car. However, it was not the case. The cable car part was just a warm-up. The more cruel part was still to come. In the first section, everyone had to climb stairs from the cable car station all the way to the Rishang Platform. It was several hundred meters higher, which was very annoying. But from here on, it was very lively for everyone to climb together, hahaha.

Most of the scenic spots in Sanqing Mountain require climbing stairs, which requires a lot of physical strength. There is a large vertical altitude difference, and it takes an hour to walk even if the destination is right in front of you.

Sanqing Mountain is still quite cold in winter. There are still many people here on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year. The cable car is very fast and the mountain road is very dangerous due to ice. You still need to prepare in advance. Because it rains, there are too many clouds and fog on the mountain. The scenery is still very beautiful after it clears up. Sanqing Palace is much older than I thought. I dare not climb the mountain in winter anymore.

Go by yourself, take bus No. 6 in front of the exit to the terminal passenger transport center, and then take the bus to Sanqing Mountain.

Sanqing Mountain is known as the sister mountain of Huangshan Mountain. The mountain is quite dangerous, but the overall safety measures are in place. I took a train from Shangrao to Yushan Station, and then went to Yushan Bus Station to take a bus to Sanqing Mountain. Because I wrote the travel notes a long time after I went there, some things are already blurred. Anyway, I didn't think much about it at the time and got on the bus directly. Later I found out that I went to the other side of Sanqing Mountain, and my inn was scheduled in the direction of Wuyuan, so I had no choice but to spend another 80 yuan to take a local private van to take me to the inn. The advantage of Sanqingshan over other mountains is that the stones are really lifelike. Other places are 30% like and 70% imaginative, while Sanqingshan is 70% like and 30% imaginative.

A little scientific knowledge: Sanqing Mountain is a mountain, but it has two scenic areas, Sunshine Coast and West Coast. This is because Sanqing Mountain was submerged by sea water three times, and these two coasts were the coastlines at that time.

Sanqingshan is known as the Little Huangshan, but I think the entire scenic area is as rich as Huangshan, especially in terms of Taoist culture and alpine rhododendrons, which are quite unique.

It is said that Mount Sanqing is rainy and foggy all year round, and there are more than 200 days of fog in 365 days, so in the morning, we took a lung-clearing walk in the fog, which felt like a cyclamen covered by fog. In the afternoon, the sun occasionally showed its face, giving us a glimpse of the majestic appearance of Mount Sanqing, and because the plank road was well designed, it took us 5 hours to complete the circumambulation of the main peak, Yujing Peak.

About the cost: 275 yuan per person, including tickets and cableway. As a world geological park and 5A scenic spot, including some scenic spots and some challenging climbs, such as Wanshou Garden and Yixiantian, this price is worth it now.

Winter is not a good season to visit famous mountains. There is often rain, snow and fog. It was drizzling when we arrived at Sanqing Mountain. We could hardly see the road. We relied on the wind to blow away the rain a little bit. It was absolutely stunning. I look forward to coming here next summer. I personally think it is no worse than Huangshan.

It took me more than an hour to walk and stop. Things on the mountain are really expensive, especially accommodation and meals. A pot of Chinese cabbage costs 38 yuan, rice costs 8 yuan per person... 500 a night without air conditioning, only electric blankets, and hot water is available for a limited time. If you go during the peak season, be mentally prepared.

The scenery of Sanqing Mountain is very beautiful. It is easy to go up but the way down is quite steep. Although I didn't reach the highest peak, it was still nice. If you go there during the Chinese New Year and want to stay in the mountain for a day, you should book a hotel in advance because it is basically more than 800-1000.
