Wugong Mountain is divided into two scenic areas, Pingxiang and Anfu. The Pingxiang scenic area is dominated by alpine meadows, which is suitable for hiking and sightseeing.
It mainly includes 7 core scenic spots: Jinding, Jifeng, Yangsi Tomb, Jiulong Mountain, Fayunjie, Wugong Lake and Wugong Hot Spring.
The mountain has magnificent scenery and unique waterfalls. Climbing the Golden Summit, watching the sunrise and admiring the sea of clouds are the three most worthwhile experiences in Wugong Mountain.
The climate is mild, with four distinct seasons and abundant rainfall. The temperature is lower than that of Mount Lushan and Mount Huangshan during the same period, making it a good summer resort.

There are only a few inns on the mountain, and most people stay in tents. However, I went to Wugong Mountain just to experience tents. (There are many places to rent tents on the mountain. Don’t book them online. After you get up, find a place you want to set up your tent and then rent it. Xiaofeng booked it online and set up the tent at the entrance of the temple.)
There are as many tents on the mountain as the stars in the sky. It is very windy and cold, making it very uncomfortable to sleep at night. But isn’t this expected?
Those who don't want to hike can take the cable car! The road is all stone slabs, but it's a bit steep, but it's not particularly difficult to walk. You can buy bamboo trekking poles at the foot of the mountain (the uniform price is two yuan each).
I have heard of Wugong Mountain's reputation in the outdoor circle and have always wanted to see the green alpine meadows. However, considering the distance, I don't have time to visit it during the two days of the weekend, and I am afraid that there will be too many people if I go during the short holidays. I have to wait until August when the grass is definitely green to take a year off to go hiking. Since I applied for leave suddenly, I didn't read the guide in advance. If I took the hiking route, I had no idea where the starting and ending points were, how long it would take, and where to stay along the way. This time, I went to the paid attractions first, and watched them while playing. I will hike again next time when I am fully prepared.
Grassland in the clouds, an outdoor paradise! Wugong Mountain's alpine meadows, dreamy sea of clouds, and beautiful sunrises attract countless outdoor and photography enthusiasts! The International Tent Festival held in Wugong Mountain has increased its popularity! The supporting measures of the scenic area have been improved. It is recommended to take the cable car up. The scenic area is too large. "The most beautiful scenery is on the road" has been changed to not wasting your energy on the road, there are more beautiful scenery waiting for you!
This time I came to Wugong Mountain in a different season. The grass on the mountain had turned yellow, lacking the green vitality, but adding to the sense of vastness between heaven and earth!
Due to health reasons, I only walked the leisure starry sky plank road. The plank road is about 3 kilometers long, of which the glass plank road is about 300 meters long. It is located above 1,600 meters above sea level and has several observation decks with excellent views. Looking up, you can see the mountains and clouds rolling in the distance...
At the end of the starry sky plank road is the Wugong Mountain Guanyindang Grassland Starry Sky Outdoor Campground: various tents are arranged around the mountain in different colors, like a blooming petal...
It is a worthwhile attraction to visit. The sea of clouds is beautiful, the sunrise is beautiful, and the alpine grassland is spectacular, but it is also very cold when it rains. You can camp here in autumn and summer.
Wugong Mountain is a national scenic spot and national natural heritage, and enjoys the reputation of "outdoor paradise, grassland in the clouds". Currently, the official scenic areas that have been developed include Pingxiang Wugong Mountain Jinding Scenic Area, Yimingyue Mountain Scenic Area, Anfu Wugong Mountain Jifeng Scenic Area and Yangshimu Scenic Area. Wugong Mountain in a narrow sense refers to Pingxiang Wugong Mountain Jinding Scenic Area, which has been developed more maturely, with two-level cableways and reasonable trail design, and is striving for 5A.
Wugong Mountain Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level scenic area, a national geological park, a national key scenic area, and a national natural heritage. It is one of the three major mountains in the south of the Yangtze River, along with Lushan Mountain and Hengshan Mountain. Wugong Mountain is also one of the top ten "non-famous" mountains in China. Now those very famous mountains are "too old" for some mountaineering enthusiasts, and the new charm of Wugong Mountain can attract some hikers. This is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, especially the tent festival held in mid-September every year on Wugong Mountain, which attracts outdoor enthusiasts from all over the world to leave their footprints on Wugong Mountain.
I have climbed many mountains and visited so many places, but the scenery and experience of Wugong Mountain are the most worthy of my favorite and memorable ones. There are peaks one after another, grasslands as far as the eye can see, coupled with blue sky and white clouds, plus the despair I experienced while walking the hiker route. Haha, I want to experience it again. One day I will see the green Wugong Mountain again.
On the Wugong Mountain website, against a turquoise background, there was a phrase that said “Grassland in the Clouds, an Outdoor Paradise.” I frowned and said nothing.
Outdoors may be the first experience that Wugong Mountain delivers to the outside world. The meadow is the cover of the shimmering sea of clouds, and we have walked out of a light luxury outdoor
Wugong Mountain has two routes: a 2-day hike, a 3-day hike, and a scenic area route that combines cable car and plank road. We ran a 9-hour single-day hike.
The alpine meadows and the rolling clouds are really beautiful!
Apart from the poor accommodation and expensive ticket prices on the mountain, Wugong Mountain is still a good place. Another thing is that climbing the mountain is really tiring.
Come and see your Wugong Mountain...
Wugong Mountain is not just one mountain, it is a mountain you climb.
A holy place for outdoor hiking, a place that hikers must visit once in their lifetime.
It's worth going. Now the high-speed rail is well developed. You can depart on Friday night, take two trains on Saturday and Sunday, take the train on Sunday night, and go to work on Monday morning without any delay.
This is the most beautiful place I have visited so far this year. The grassland in the clouds, deep in the white clouds, and the fragrant grass at the end of the world are so stunning!
The more I look at it, the more I like it. There are endless meadows and mountains, white clouds floating over the ridges, and if I'm lucky I can see the perfect sea of clouds. It's so beautiful.
Because the grass is short, it feels average
The accommodation conditions on the mountain are average. Some large inns basically have no services, but small inns have better services.
Although I only reached the Golden Summit due to my schedule, I know I will come again🤗
I have always wanted to go to Wugong Mountain, but I haven't been there yet. I have been to Wentang Town nine times, and I still want to go. Hahaha
The intensity of exercise in Wugong Mountain is quite high. Going with an experienced hiker who has outdoor hiking experience will save you a lot of trouble. You must plan your time and distance well. The hiking trails in Wugong Mountain are almost primitive and undeveloped. They were walked out by hikers, and there are small cloth strips with marks left by hikers along the way.
Very beautiful, encounter the sea of clouds and see the most beautiful starry sky. Perfect sunrise
All kinds of exclamations, go and accept the gifts from nature!
Very suitable for hiking, camping, stargazing, sunrise and sunset
It is a hiking paradise, but the scenery at the top is so beautiful. It takes a certain amount of physical strength to climb to the top.
The process is difficult.
The result is beautiful.
An unforgettable experience.
I have been to many mountains. The alpine meadows of Wugong Mountain are unique in the mountains of the same latitude. I was lucky enough to see the spectacular sunrise and sea of clouds after staying in a tent for one night in difficult conditions. I was shocked and it was also a plus. Compared with Lushan Mountain (a world cultural heritage) and Sanqing Mountain (a world natural heritage) in Jiangxi, the natural scenery is slightly inferior to Sanqing Mountain, which is much more beautiful than Lushan Mountain. However, the ticket to Wugong Mountain is only 60 (buy it online in advance), which is the most cost-effective. Many hiking enthusiasts do not even need tickets to take the reverse route. The only bad thing about Wugong Mountain is that the accommodation on the top of the mountain is not good enough. Most people need to stay in tents (it is relatively humid inside the tents). It is not convenient to eat, so it is recommended to bring more food and water. The accommodation conditions are relatively difficult. Even if you stay in a hotel, you will be charged extra for taking a hot shower. Generally speaking, the alpine meadows of Wugong Mountain are its characteristics, and the sea of clouds, sunrise and starry sky are plus points. Whether you can see them depends entirely on luck. If you can see them, it will be a big plus, so it is best not to go there in the rainy season. I went there in autumn a few days ago. The fog was so thick that I couldn’t see anything when I went up the mountain that day. It dissipated that night and I saw the spectacular sunrise and sea of clouds the next day. So I strongly recommend going there in autumn recently. A new starry sky plank road has been opened these days, which is on September 15th. You can go there and walk on the glass plank road. The transportation to Wugong Mountain is quite convenient. There are minibuses directly from Pingxiang North Station and Pingxiang Station (opposite the bus station). The journey takes about one hour and twenty minutes. The ticket price is 23, which is very convenient. If you want to book a tent, it is 100-120. If it is not the peak season, you can book it directly on the mountain. It is okay. 100 is enough. In addition, except for the mobile signal on the mountain, there is no signal in other places. We booked the place where we prayed for children. There is actually Wugong Mountain's wifi, otherwise we will lose contact. And you must bring a big power bank, otherwise you can't bear it. The camera battery must be fully charged, and two will do. The overall feeling I gave was that the weather was perfect and the natural scenery was perfect. There are also two sections of the ropeway in Wugong Mountain. The first section is 65 for the uphill section and 45 for the second section. It is recommended to only take the first section uphill, then hike up the mountain and then hike down the mountain. This is more meaningful and not so tiring, and you can also enjoy the scenery of Wugong Mountain. It takes six or seven hours to hike up the mountain and about three hours to go down the mountain, so it depends on your own situation.
Very beautiful mountain scenery, famous hiking route.
After I went there, I felt like it was a fairyland, but I lost half my life. The scenery is beautiful, and I am grateful for the gift from nature and kind people.
Located in Ji'an, Jiangxi, it has the Golden Summit of Wugong Mountain and another peak, Yangshimu, which belong to the same mountain system as Mingyue Mountain in Yichun and Wugong Mountain in Pingxiang;
One is famous for its alpine meadows and is a classic Chinese alpine hiking route. The other is famous for its steep rocks. Each has its own merits and the scenery is very beautiful. I personally think it is one of the three most beautiful mountain views in Jiangxi...Highly recommended
If you have no outdoor hiking experience, it is recommended not to challenge Wugong Mountain hiking easily. If you must, it is recommended to sign up for an outdoor group. There are too many forks in the road, and it is still confusing to follow the road signs left by predecessors.
Remember to prepare water, food (there are no houses on the mountain road, and no supply points), knee pads, trekking poles (there are bamboo poles at the entrance of the village for 2 yuan each, which are also very useful), rain gear, sunscreen, wind oil, gastroenteritis, paper towels, toiletries (the conditions in the mountain inn are difficult, and it is good to have hot water for bathing). Cotton sweatshirts or thin cotton jackets (it is only about 10 degrees on the mountain). Don't mind bringing an extra pair of shoes, because your shoes will get wet.
We followed the outdoor route and walked the reverse route. It was foggy when we went up the mountain, and it was windy and rainy when we reached the slope of despair. The sky cleared up in the evening, and we could see the wonders of the sea of clouds, sunrise and sunset, and the starry sky and meadow! It was worth the trip!
Wugong Mountain is really beautiful. When we first went up, it was all foggy and drizzling. I didn't expect that we could see the sea of clouds when we reached the mountain. The sunset and the evening glow are worth coming. Master Wang from Wugong Mountain is also good. He sent the four of us here. The price is reasonable. The service attitude is also OK. Friends can find Master Wang next time they come. 15979421481
It was my first time to visit this land on a two-day reverse tour. Although the journey was difficult, the beautiful scenery along the way was enough to make people happy and refreshed. Even though I didn't see the sunrise and the sea of clouds, I felt that the trip was worthwhile and I will come again soon.
The mountain scenery is average, but the alpine meadows are really amazing!
Wugong Mountain is located in the central and western part of Jiangxi Province, China, on the northern branch of the Luoxiao Mountains. The mountain is northeast-southwest oriented, spanning Luxi County, Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province, Anfu County, Ji'an City, and Yuanzhou District, Yichun City. The main ridge stretches for more than 120 kilometers, with a total area of about 970 square kilometers. In 2009, Wugong Mountain was rated as one of the top ten "unknown" mountains in China by National Geographic China. Wugong Mountain has long been famous among outdoor enthusiasts. It encompasses the unique alpine grassland scenery at the same latitude in the world, and is a pilgrimage site for outdoor hikers in East China!
I haven't climbed a mountain for a long time. This time I came to conquer Pingxiang Wugong Mountain. Because I climbed up Wugong Mountain through a wild road, it took nearly 3 hours longer than the normal climbing journey. My legs were exhausted after the climb, so I decisively changed to taking the cable car when going down the mountain. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, haha.
It is convenient to have a high-speed rail. You can go directly to Pingshan North, take a ride to the ticket office, and then climb directly. I brought a drone to take a quick photo.
I went to the 2014 Tent Festival with three friends. It was hard to find a place to camp. The sea of clouds and meadows on the mountain were beautiful, but the weather was bad, so I didn't take many photos.
I didn't buy a ticket. I walked up the back mountain. It took nine hours and the journey was wonderful! The scenery is much better than the front gate! Friends are important! ! Bring more water and dry food and wear comfortable clothes and shoes! Wugong Mountain is really beautiful! ! !
After reaching the top of the mountain, the wind was very strong, the temperature felt about 15 degrees, mixed with huge humidity. It was so cold that even wearing a coat didn't work. Because of the strong wind, today's sunset was not very beautiful. I got up at 4 am to watch the sunrise and the weather. There was a sea of clouds. I didn't see a good sunset and starry sky, but the sunrise was pretty good. The weather in Wugong Mountain is changeable. Even in summer, it is very cold on the mountain, and it feels even colder because of the high humidity in summer. It is difficult to find a toilet at night, so either you solve it on the spot. I hid in the tent and urinated with a mineral water bottle. Then remember to bring some food. There was nothing to eat when I reached the top of the mountain. If you go back on the same day, just travel light.
The clouds and mist of Wugong Mountain,
Same as 400 years ago.
We were very lucky this time.
Saw the beautiful sea of clouds.
In the direction of Jinding, the wind was strong, the fog was thick, and the cold was biting.
When climbing a mountain, you will sweat all over.
With the rain and mist, I was wet all over.
If you stop, you will be instantly chilled by the wind and easily get sick.
So we decided to take our time walking in the afternoon.
But I won't stop to rest.
The half-hour journey from Fayunjie is all flat road and downhill.
The road down the mountain is very slippery and requires caution.
But I am a worm when I go up the mountain, and a dragon when I go down the mountain.
It came down easily.
The whole journey involved going up and down 27 hills repeatedly.
Three of them are over 1,700 meters above sea level.
My heart is filled with despair and collapse.
I shouted in my heart: I will never come again next time!!
I feel like I'm bringing trouble upon myself.
Before setting off, I was wondering whether to bring snowshoes.
Later it was confirmed that I had brought the right one.
Too much mud.
The heel is easy to lift up and fall into the shoe.
Wearing snow caps will not cause this problem.
And it can keep your pants clean.
Although my pants were also wet.
On the way, I saw a large-scale construction of an inn.
I also saw a lot of garbage.
I can't describe the feeling.
A feeling of powerlessness.
There are many porters here.
Choose daily necessities at 2 yuan/jin.
Building materials 3 yuan/jin,
My friend said: You have worked hard.
They answered: Life is hard, there is nothing we can do...
The Grand Canyon is spectacular, with steep stalagmites and mountain walls....
It is very beautiful. It is the Dragon Boat Festival and the mountains are covered with green grass.
Wugong Mountain has a mild climate, abundant rainfall, high humidity, and heavy clouds and fog. It is often sunny and warm at the foot of the mountain, but the mountain is shrouded in clouds and fog, creating a variety of weather conditions. The sea of clouds on Wugong Mountain is neither smoke nor fog, but poetic, magnificent, and majestic. This is the unique climatic feature of Wugong Mountain.
Good places for hiking, good places for hiking, good places for hiking
Wugong Mountain is located in the central and western part of Jiangxi Province, China, on the northern branch of Luoxiao Mountains. The mountain is northeast-southwest oriented, spanning Luxi County of Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province, Anfu County of Ji'an City, and Yuanzhou District of Yichun City. The main ridge stretches for more than 120 kilometers, with a total area of about 970 square kilometers.
I think this is where Bimawen released his horses in Journey to the West
The road up the mountain was basically all uphill. My friends and I encouraged each other and moved forward. We arrived at the first rest stop at 9:40. The small rest stop had many small elements, such as hand-drawn route maps, beverage bottles strung together as decorations, hand-written reminder signs... The food supply was also rich, including herbal tea, sweet wine, jelly, red rice porridge, boiled water, beverages...
When we reached the top of the mountain, it was still shrouded in mist and we couldn't see far away. After walking for a while, the mist dissipated a little, and the first beautiful scenery we saw was the Green Mountain Canyon. The mist dissipated, revealing the true face of the mountain range. Fortunately, I took a few more glances, and it was soon shrouded in mist again. The fog on Wugong Mountain gathers and dissipates in a short time. You must cherish the beauty you see and keep it forever in your phone and memory.
I walked through the misty alpine meadows for an entire afternoon. My efforts paid off. When night fell, the mist dissipated and I could see the sea of clouds, the sunset, the green hills, and the road I had walked on...
The blue sky, white clouds, green grass, the colors I wanted were finally perfectly blended together, not too strong, fresh but not boring. Lying on the wooden steps of the campsite, bathing in the warm sunshine, it seemed as if every cell in my body was reborn and beating. If I wasn't in a hurry, I could play some music and drink a cup of coffee, and I could almost be drunk in this scenery for a whole day.
We traveled through the wind and rain for two days and one night, and visited Longshan Village from the top of the Golden Summit.
I also want to say, don't litter, the garbage everywhere is really chilling
Wugong Mountain is now a holy place for outdoor hikers to hike and cross-country run. It also holds a tent festival every year (usually in September, pay attention to the announcement of the year). Ticket price: 70 yuan (Golden Summit)
Because Wugong Mountain Scenic Area is going to apply for 5A, part of the scenic area has been renovated, and a new inn has been built, which is probably not cheap. Although the sunrise is quite spectacular, it is not shocking. After the sun rose, we went to see the inn where we lived two years ago. There was no trace of the past, and it had been renovated, because part of the Wugong Mountain Scenic Area is going to apply for 5A. After watching the sunrise, I was still wandering around and taking pictures. I didn't know that there was a time limit for packing up the tent, and the boss didn't tell us in advance, and then called us directly to urge us to go back and pack our luggage.
It was a little early in the season, and the grass was not yet fully green, but it was still spectacular, and Wugong Mountain did not disappoint me. I caught a sunny day, and although there was no sea of clouds, the view was excellent.
Wugong Mountain has a cable car. To be honest, if you like hiking, you don't have to choose it. If you just like sightseeing, you should take the cable car, because the way up the mountain is nothing special, just a stream. The cable car of Wugong Mountain is divided into two parts. After going up the first section, it takes another hour to reach the second section. The scenery of this section is good. If you go early, you can also see the beautiful scenery of the village under the mountain shrouded in fog. When you get off the second section of the cable car, it is even a high mountain grassland. I didn't know why so few people come to play now, because in March, the scenic spot artificially burned the old grass of the previous year, so that new grass would grow in April and May to attract more tourists, so now it is bare, haha, so I still recommend friends to come in May, it should be very beautiful by then.
Because I arrived at noon, there was nothing to see at the Golden Summit, so I suggest that friends who come here to play come in the afternoon, climb the mountain slowly, camp at the top of the mountain for a night, watch the stars and the moon, and watch the sunrise and the sea of clouds in the morning. That's worth it. But the premise is to bring thick clothes, the temperature on the mountain at night is quite cold.
The hike to the top of Wugong Mountain is not difficult. If you take the cable car up, walk on the top of the mountain for an hour or two, and then go down from Haohanpo, it should take 5-6 hours. It is not very intense. However, if you hike the whole way, it will be a bit difficult because the whole climb takes 3 or 4 hours. As for friends who want to hike the whole way, they can skip the Haohanpo and walk through Diaomazhuang to Fayunjie, which takes one or two days. Moreover, the exit is not at the original mountain entrance, but dozens of kilometers away.
When I went there in June, the humidity was heavy and fog formed in the deep forest.
The trees and bamboo forests on the mountain covered the top of our heads. It was impossible to tell the direction when we were crossing the dense forest. The most important thing was not to get lost. Fortunately, fellow travelers had marked some forks in the road with small ribbons or flags on the trees. When we were walking, we just had to look for the side with more flags.
After four hours of crossing the dense forest, the vegetation slowly turned into trees. The sun shone through the gaps between the trees. Looking back, I could already see the shadow of the meadow on the opposite ridge. After a light rain, the water vapor in the valley easily formed a sea of clouds. Finally, I could see a little bit of the sea of clouds through the dense forest.
Tips: You need to prepare more dry food and water during the climb as there are few supplies on the way. You also need to pay special attention to sun protection as the ultraviolet rays on the mountain are particularly strong. In addition, the scenery along the way is particularly beautiful, and the weather was particularly good that day. You can see the sea of clouds all day long. It is particularly beautiful. The weather in Wugong Mountain is changeable, so it is recommended that you check the weather before going to Wugong Mountain. Generally, it is easiest to see the sea of clouds after the rain.
The development is not high, there are few people, but the facilities are convenient, it is a holy place for taking photos
The huge crowds are so shocking... Happy National Day!
Wugong Mountain is located in the central and western part of Jiangxi Province, southeast of Luxi County, Pingxiang City. It belongs to the northern branch of Luoxiao Mountain Range, stretching for more than 120 kilometers. The main peak, Baihe Peak (Jinding), has an altitude of 1,918.3 meters.
Wugong Mountain is one of the top ten “unknown” mountains in China;
It is the best hiking route of the same difficulty in the country;
It has the largest alpine meadow;
She has different but equally moving scenery in each season;
The scenery is indeed beautiful and attractive, but there is a certain degree of danger~
Not recommended for beginners
Starting from Longshan Village, we started at 8 am and arrived at Wufa Inn at 5 pm. We started climbing at 7:30 the next day and arrived at Diaoma Villa around 10 am. It was a good place for mountaineering enthusiasts.
It is a famous scenic spot because of the alpine meadows. I feel that Wugong Mountain is not very tiring. It is relatively easy to arrange it in two days. It is good to set up a tent at Jinding. I went there on New Year's Day. It was very cold. I still recommend camping on the top of the mountain in summer.
The vertical changes in vegetation types along the way are still very obvious. It is more than 50 kilometers away from Pingxiang City. It is more appropriate to charter a car. It may be more troublesome to take a shuttle bus. The scenery is still good. It is recommended to go and see.
Climbed up the whole way, originally planned to take the second cable car, but missed it, and it was gone at 4:30. Everyone, please pay attention. Then it took about four and a half hours to reach the Golden Summit. The six-person room in the inn above is 450. It is very simple to take the upper and lower bunks. The toilet is public. Everyone can bring instant noodles or something. The inn above can get hot water, but we didn’t know that we had a meal in the inn, 300 four dishes and one soup, 200 a chicken🐔....... Now the sunrise comes out at about 7 o'clock, and it hasn't come out at 6:40. It's really cold up there. Everyone wears more clothes, and it's best to bring gloves. It's so cold that you can't hold your phone steadily! The scenery is great, and it's really tiring to climb. I walked down the mountain for an hour and took two cable cars. The second cable car is 35 one-way for about 10 minutes, and the first cable car is about 15 minutes. 55 yuan, 70 tickets plus 10 yuan for the bus to the scenic spot, 50 student tickets plus 10 yuan, it's snowing now and it's very slippery, so be careful.
Bring some dry food and eat while walking. The toilet is very clean, but the toilet in the inn is not. It is very cold now. I don't mind the tent. I set off at around 2 pm and arrived at the Jinding inn at around 6 pm. It was already dark. The two inns are together, so there is no need to run around to ask the price. Then I must buy a bamboo stick for two yuan. The five of us bought five sticks, and then it was really a support point. I gave it to the old lady when I came down. It was not easy. Although it is very tiring, I still recommend going.
Wugong Mountain is not only an outdoor paradise for hikers, but Haohanpo Pengcheng Inn is also a good place for everyone to relax and vacation! Friends who need it can contact me, Ouyang, phone 13647990602/13410696278
The clouds and mists of Wugong Mountain are so beautiful! The thatched grass of Wugong Mountain is so cool! The wild roads of Wugong Mountain are too cruel? The scenery of Wugong Mountain is so handsome!
The clouds were blown away by the wind when we were going down the mountain. Although we took the shortest way down the mountain, it was still beautiful! Especially the sea of clouds.
Wugong Mountain is not only an outdoor paradise, but also a two-day leisure tour in the scenic area is also worthwhile. Although the Golden Summit is 1,918 meters above sea level and is the highest peak in Jiangxi, it is easy to go up and down by cable car. There is accommodation on the top of the mountain, and you can also rent tents. From Pingxiang to the scenic area, you can go directly to the high-speed railway station, the railway station, and the Chengnan bus station. It is recommended to stay at the top of the mountain for one night to watch the sunrise and sunset, which is very beautiful. From the scenic area, you must walk on the Fuxing Valley plank road and the Diaomazhuang plank road. The best season is autumn, when the vegetation on the mountain is colorful and there are golden meadows to see.
Go for the stars, and you will get the same beautiful sea of clouds
I started hiking at around 10:00 am on November 8th and arrived at Mingyue Mountain at 15:00 pm on November 11th. On the first day, I stayed in a tent rented at Jinding (100 yuan for a tent and two quilts), and on the second day I stayed at Fayunjie Inn (50 yuan).
Except for the first day when the weather was clear and we even saw a beautiful sea of clouds, the next two days were spent in rain and fog, and we could hardly see any scenery. A primitive and wild feeling of traveling through time, as well as the loneliness and freedom of traveling alone accompanied us all the way!
Speaking of hiking guides, I only recommend the ones from "Wolf Travels the World". No one can be so detailed as to find out even a single intersection, a sign, or an inn, but he did it. I almost didn't get lost along the way, all thanks to his guide. Thank you, this stranger hiker!
On the last day, we usually go around the Yangsimu Scenic Area. I chose to walk through the scenic area, which of course cost 120 yuan. I walked around the plank road in the scenic area. The beautiful scenery was really worth the trip. The mountains, clouds, and red and yellow leaves on the trees in autumn were truly beautiful!
The overall feeling is:
1. Wugong Mountain is indeed a great place for hiking, and it is worthy of being an entry-level hiking trail;
2. It is dangerous for a single person to walk through the tunnel. If injured, it is difficult to be discovered.
3. Hiking in the rain is very dangerous. The road is too slippery. There are many boulders and muddy roads from Fayunjie to Yangsimu. It is very easy to slip when going downhill.
4. It is recommended to go after the rain, as there will be beautiful sea of clouds;
5. If you have enough time, I suggest you visit Yangsimu, it is worth the trip;
The Luoxiao Mountains stretch across the three cities. Wugong Mountain is famous for its alpine meadows, and the scenery varies in each season.
The destination of this year's National Day self-driving tour is Wugong Mountain. The alpine meadows, sea of clouds, sunrise and sunset are really beautiful! The parking lot, tourist service center, and geological museum in the scenic area are all great, and the road leading to the scenic area is also very good. It was drizzling at the foot of the mountain, but I didn't expect the sun to be bright on the mountain. What a unique experience! It is also a special experience to be neighbors with so many tourists in the mountains. The ticket price of 70 yuan is very moderate compared to the ticket prices of Mingyue Mountain and Yangsimu. In particular, the signboards along the way are very well done, thumbs up. This is a place I want to go again in another season. It is recommended to stay in the mountains for one night. It will be a better experience if you have the physical strength to cross.
Go and feel the thousands of green mountains covered with brocade clouds and the thousands of hills covered with fragrant grass.
I want to go a few more times, but I didn't see a lot of scenery due to the weather.
Wugong Mountain is a very suitable place for hikers to go hiking. It is a very beautiful place. The alpine meadows, sea of clouds, sunrise and sunset, and starry sky there are particularly beautiful. It is worth going! However, I am afraid that Wugong Mountain is really challenging and requires a certain amount of physical strength and perseverance.
The scenery is breathtaking, with tens of thousands of acres of alpine meadows in close contact with the blue sky and white clouds
This time the route is the most conventional reverse route of Wugong Mountain. It starts from Longshan Village, passes through Fayunjie, Qianzhangyan, Haohanpo (stay), Jiwupo, Diaomazhuang, and Jinding, and then takes the cable car down.
It is said that "love" comes at a price. Although I planned to travel light and back to Wugong Mountain, I bought almost a full set of outdoor equipment for this trip to Wugong Mountain. The subsequent actual combat proved that all the equipment was not bought in vain.
You can't miss any hiking equipment and clothing. I already have the most basic ones, and a sleeping bag will be perfect. Cooking utensils, which are originally the most abstract, also played a huge role later. In order to reduce the burden, I only brought a 50mm lens, and discarded the wide-angle, telephoto, tripod and shutter cable. For me, 50mm is enough. After all, it is important to be able to take pictures when you are tired.
The sunrise over the sea of clouds at Wugong Mountain is really spectacular. It was sunny all day long, and the climb up and down the slopes was constantly changing between fog and sunshine. Whenever I came to a mountain top, I was surrounded by a magnificent sea of clouds. Seeing such a view was really worth it.
The pine trees on Wugong Mountain are very beautiful and distinctive. Many of them grow sparsely on the mountain ridges, adding some embellishment to the magnificent alpine meadows.
I will definitely go to Wugong Mountain again. I hope to be a strong donkey next time and go to see the magnificent Green Wu!
1. About strength:
The most tiring part of the hike was the two and a half hours from Longshan Village to the meadow. There was no scenery and it was very boring and tiring. After this part, there was basically no pressure. Many people brag about how fierce and cruel Wugong Mountain is just to show how awesome they are. Of course, heavy-duty donkeys are still awesome. I will respect them for any route. Light-duty donkeys are not really that strong. Normal people can do it for two days.
2. About supplies:
There are about three or four supply points from Longfa Villa to the meadow. There is no supply point between the meadow and Fayunjie. From Fayunjie, you can basically find the inn after crossing the slope. The supply point is also very complete, with boiling water, instant noodles, gas cans (what else do you want).
3. About equipment:
Two trekking poles are very necessary!!!
