We spent the New Year's Eve at Jinding, where we bid farewell to the sunset of 2018 and welcomed the sunrise of 2019. We were lucky to see the sea of clouds, sunset, sunrise, and starry sky there. There is a cable car from the mountain gate to the Golden Summit of Wugong Mountain. We hiked all the way to Changsha, and our legs were not even our own!

It's so cold that you can't hold your phone steadily! The scenery is great, and it's really tiring to climb. I walked down the mountain for an hour and took two cable cars. The second cable car is 35 one-way for about 10 minutes, and the first cable car is about 15 minutes. 55 yuan, 70 tickets plus 10 yuan for the bus to the scenic spot, 50 student tickets plus 10 yuan, it's snowing now and it's very slippery, so be careful.

Bring some dry food and eat while walking. The toilet is very clean, but the toilet in the inn is not. It is very cold now. I don't mind the tent. I set off at around 2 pm and arrived at the Jinding inn at around 6 pm. It was already dark. The two inns are together, so there is no need to run around to ask the price. Then I must buy a bamboo stick for two yuan. The five of us bought five sticks, and then it was really a support point. I gave it to the old lady when I came down. It was not easy. Although it is very tiring, I still recommend going.

The facilities are complete and the inns are varied. The scenery is great and the view is wide.

It took about 50 minutes to see the Baihefeng Taoist Temple, which is only one step away from the highest point of Jinding. This is a primitive and simple Taoist temple on the top of the mountain. Although it looks a bit simple, it has a long history. It was built in the 60th year of Emperor Kangxi (1721) and has a history of nearly 300 years. Many hikers often set up tents here. It is very safe, but I heard that it is very cold at night. The scenery here is very good and you can see the sea of clouds. There is also a Taoist holy place next to it - Gexiantai (full name "Altar of Thunder and Xuansheng of Dongwu", also known as Laotan and Guanritan), which was built by Ge Xuan (a native of Wu during the Three Kingdoms period, 164-224), the founder of the Taoist Danding School, and is dedicated to Ge Xuan. Gexiantai is piled up with stones one by one. Although the scale is not large, how many stones do you need to move to the top of the mountain to build it by pure manual labor? It takes many years of hard work. Religious beliefs are indeed respectable. This group of ancient altars with a history of more than 2,000 years is still in use, but how many years can the houses we build be used before they are demolished?

Finally, I succeeded in reaching the summit in less than an hour. I give myself a thumbs up. The Jinding is 1918.3 meters above sea level and is the highest peak in Jiangxi Province.
