If you buy a combined ticket, you must pick it up in advance, because you cannot pick up the ticket at the entrance of Shicheng Village, and the nearest place to pick up the ticket is Lingyan Cave, but the distance to pick up the ticket is not close. The key is to wait until the door opens there to pick up the ticket, and then come back, so you don’t have to watch the sunrise through the morning fog.

After picking up the ticket, you need to verify it within 30 minutes, and then you can enter other scenic spots in the package by scanning your face. If you buy a combined ticket and Shicheng is the first attraction you want to visit, it doesn't matter. There is a tourist service center in the county town where you can pick up the ticket and verify it.

Of course, if you have bought it but have not picked it up, it doesn't matter. You can buy tickets on the spot at the entrance of Shicheng Village, 60 yuan per ticket. I heard that in this case, don't let the staff punch in the ticket, and you can refund it when you go to pick up the combined ticket. I haven't verified whether this is the case. If there is no special situation, it is better to pick up the ticket first for verification.

The ancient village surrounded by morning mist is as dreamy as a fairyland. As the sun rises, the village is covered with rays of light, and the red maple trees gradually become brighter. The photographers around us said that the morning light is the most beautiful when it shines on the maple trees. We waited and waited, but found that the villagers lit a lot of smoke to create momentum. The smoke was too thick and did not dissipate. The village in the camera became gray and hazy. We had to go down the mountain in disappointment and have breakfast and wander around the village.

Shicheng Village requires an entrance fee of 60 yuan per person. Don’t think that this 60 yuan is given for free. We can absolutely guarantee that your money is well spent.

When I arrived at the village, I saw that the houses were not the ancient houses in Hongcun that I had imagined. They were all small houses with two or three floors, or three or four floors in the urban-rural fringe area, but with white walls and black tiles. . .

The maple trees in the village are all hundreds of years old, with towering branches. You can't see them completely if you stand under them, but you can see their full view from a distance. When you walk to the hillside, the sunset has been blocked by the surrounding mountains. The deep forests are dark green. Looking at Shicheng from another angle, the beauty of ink-and-wash Wuyuan gradually emerges.

I heard that some photography enthusiasts came to occupy the advantageous terrain at 3 o'clock in the middle of the night. Because it rained every day in the past few days, it has only cleared up in the past two days. There will definitely be a lot of people watching the sunrise tomorrow. If you don't want to get up early, there is a way. Local residents can help you reserve a spot for 100 yuan per spot. Never miss any opportunity to get rich. We got up on time at 5 o'clock. There was already a crowd outside. We carried our shotguns and followed the uncles and aunts carrying cannons to go up the mountain.

In the early morning, the starlight gradually faded, the red clouds gradually rose in the sky, the valley became brighter and brighter, and the Shicheng Village at the bottom of the valley revealed its elegant outline. Wisps of mist like white silk floated and lingered above the village, and smoke from cooking was rising behind the horse-head wall.

The moment the sun jumped out from the other side of the mountain, it poured down like a waterfall, shining on the pink walls and black tiles. The village that was originally as quiet and beautiful as an ink painting immediately turned into a gouache painting with flowing light and overflowing aura. As the angle of sunlight rose, the picture changed constantly and was wonderful and unparalleled.

At this time, the 60 yuan ticket fee came into play, and the villagers began to set off smoke in several locations in the village. Maybe because there was less fog today, they needed to set off smoke to enhance the effect of the misty fairyland. 60 yuan to enhance the special effects, this wave is really worth it!

When the sun rises high, the bright colors gradually fade away. At this moment, the village is as beautiful as a fairyland, like a mirage. Maple leaves fall on the tall horse-head walls. In the morning mist and smoke, light and shadow pass through the gaps between the trees, forming bright beams of light. The houses have flying eaves and corners, and are stacked layer by layer.

In the evening, the boss took us to a nearby hillside to watch the sunset. The smoke from cooking fires was rising (although it was artificially released), and the scenery was pretty nice.

There are modern farmhouses near the parking lot, but there are still many old houses in the village, and the more you go in, the more interesting it becomes.

I bought a Qingming fruit to eat. The skin was too sticky and not very tasty, but the filling inside was pretty good.

At 5:30 in the morning, I climbed the hillside with a flashlight in hand and saw that the mountain was already dotted with starlight. The scene was very interesting, and it felt like a starry mountain was right in front of me.

The weather factor still had a big impact. The sunshine yesterday had already run out, so I couldn't see the sunrise today. When I turned back at dawn, I saw people all over the hillside, equipped with everything from mobile phones to professional cameras to drones, and there were no less than four or five DJI drones flying in the sky.

Without the sun, we can only admire the small village in the smoke!

To take photos of Cheng Village, you can choose to shoot from the top of the Shibi Mountain between the two villages. The best viewing time is generally around 5:30-9:00 in the morning, when the morning mist begins to rise, becomes thicker, floats in the valley, is slowly penetrated by the sun, and gradually dissipates. Different beautiful scenery will be presented at different times.

There are many people who go to Shicheng to take photos every day, but the space on Shibi Mountain is limited. If you want to take good photos, you have to occupy a good shooting position early. This has also given rise to the business of local villagers selling camera positions. If you go up the mountain to set up a tripod the night before, the villagers will help you watch it all night. Before going up the mountain, it was said that a camera position would cost 60, but because there were too many people, the price was directly raised to 100. Of course, you can also choose not to spend money and just go early to occupy a position. You can also choose to take handheld photos. As the sky gets brighter, handheld is also possible (the premise is that you have enough arm strength, anyway, I don't have it).

First, a large cloud of white smoke suddenly appeared in one place, and then the smoke slowly spread to the surroundings, forming a thin layer. It was more beautiful to take pictures at this time, and then the smoke tended to disappear. When the sun climbed out from the top of the mountain, the smoke suddenly became thicker and almost nothing could be seen. It took a long time to dissipate. It is strongly recommended that villagers set off less smoke in the future!!!

Shicheng is the name of a mountain. It is called Shicheng Mountain on the Wuyuan tourist map. There are many limestone cliffs on the mountain, which look like an ancient city, so it is called "Shicheng". There are two villages on both sides of the mountain, Cheng Village and Dai Village, which are called Qiancheng Houdai by locals. The two villages are mainly inhabited by the Cheng and Dai families for generations. The two villages are about one kilometer apart, separated by a rock wall like a towering ancient city. There are many ancient trees inside and outside the towering "walls", and the most amazing one is the more than one hundred tall red maples standing between the white walls and black tiles.

The best time to take photos of Shicheng is from 6:30 to 8:30. Climb to the highest point of the village and look far into the distance. The red leaves in the village are competing for beauty, like red clouds, full of interest. The morning mist hangs on the tree waist, and the villagers light the smoke of oil tea shells. The red leaves are looming in the morning mist and smoke. The white-walled and black-tiled Hui-style houses complement the maple forest, morning mist and smoke, forming a unique scenery of Wuyuan countryside in autumn, forming a dreamlike fairyland.

On October 30, a group of five of us set out from Haining, Zhejiang at 5 a.m. and arrived at the Sixiyan Village Scenic Area in Wuyuan at around 11 a.m. After having lunch at a farmhouse outside the scenic area, we visited Sixiyan Village, Rainbow Bridge and Lingyan Cave along the way. In the evening, we checked into the Heipi Courtyard in Shicheng Scenic Area. The next morning before 6 a.m., the proprietress took us to the mountain behind the village. Many photography enthusiasts had already occupied favorable positions, waiting for the sunrise with their cameras. I took some photos at about three different locations. Some leaves had already turned red. I heard from the villagers that if we came half a month later, when the leaves turned red, the photos we took would be more shocking.

It was less than 6:30 in the morning when we arrived at the Chengcun Observation Deck in Shicheng. The hillside was already filled with tripods of various heights. There were many older photography enthusiasts around, each holding high-end photographic equipment, carefully discussing framing. Between photos, you would hear an older sister calling out, "Teacher, please take a look and give me some comments." It was a picture of the rich and happy lives of the people.

Unfortunately, there was no sunrise that day and the morning fog was not thick, but the scene was already very beautiful. Gradually, the villagers started to light fires, and curls of smoke rose. The white mist formed by the curling smoke and the mountain fog enveloped Shicheng Village. It was impossible to tell which was fog and which was smoke, but it looked very beautiful.

As soon as I entered Chengcun, I was shocked by the huge trees I had seen when I took photos at the viewing platform. From a distance, each tree seemed so big. The Liquidambar, Sophora japonica, and Torreya grandis were particularly tall and lush. The age of the ancient trees ranged from 400 to 800 years old. They are now well protected. It's great! By the end of November, the Liquidambar will be all red.

From Shicheng to Changxi, hiking on rainy days always makes you feel hot and cold. The biggest feeling is that every time you think that this is the peak of the muddy road today, there will be a worse road to slap you in the face. While walking, I kept thinking, am I kicked in the head by a donkey? Why did I come to such a place? But who said I chose it myself. OK, I accept it. As for the scenery, it is acceptable, but the cost performance is too low, so I don’t recommend it.

The first impression is that it is a place to see maple leaves. The maple trees standing in the middle of the white houses are unique, but not as good as advertised. Many tourists who stay here are disappointed. But walking around the village, I feel that it is very unique and beautiful. If you have the chance, you should stay overnight and get up early to see the maple trees in the clouds and mist, which can especially calm your mind.

Shicheng is a favorite place for hiking enthusiasts and also a place where many photography enthusiasts gather. It is surrounded by mountains and is a very beautiful and quiet small village that is worth staying in.

We visited according to the signs. Because it was drizzling, the mountain road was muddy and slippery, so we bought shoe covers (10/person). The mountain road was not steep, but narrow, and we could reach the scenic spot in a short time, about 5 minutes. In fact, people stopped to take pictures along the way. You can take a panoramic view of the maple leaves from Dai Village, which is the best viewing point. Cheng Village is next to the maple forest, with a close view. Because the maple leaves were not very red when we arrived, they will be more beautiful in late November in half a month.

The plan was to get up early to watch the sunrise, so we decided: if it doesn't rain tomorrow, we will get up and go to the viewing platform, and if it rains tomorrow, we will go to bed~ Fortunately, there is no rain in Shicheng today, but the clouds are very thick, so there is no hope of watching the sunrise~ But we still got up at 5:30 and followed the landlady to the viewing platform. Just after 6 o'clock, the viewing platform was already full of people. This scene scared me. I finally found a place to take pictures, set up the tripod, adjusted the parameters, and waited for the sky to turn from dark to bright~ The sky began to light up a little bit~ The sunrise is doomed to be hopeless. I can only wait for the villagers to start cooking breakfast and take pictures of the village smoke~ The Taiwanese aunt next to me lamented that she couldn't take the photos she wanted, and felt very sorry~ The leaves in the village are about to turn red, alternating between yellow, green and red. More and more people are cooking in the village, and the small village begins to be surrounded by smoke, and photography enthusiasts press the shutter~ Today's sun is not very strong. When taking pictures, the sky is covered by clouds and becomes pale white, so it can only be dimmed later. At about 7 o'clock, everyone retreated one after another. It was a pity that I didn't take pictures of the sunrise in Shicheng.

This is a place with a mountain stream, shaded by green trees, gurgling streams, and a leisurely ancient charm. This is a deep and secluded ancient alley, a place where you can wander and linger. This is a place that photographers must choose every autumn... Many of the best camera positions here are paid (ranging from fifty to two hundred, depending on the season). In fact, it is no wonder that the common people go up the mountain at two or three in the morning to reserve positions, labor fees. On the first morning in Shicheng, the ancient village of Shicheng cleared up after the rain, and the smoke from the ancient village curled up like a thread. In the morning sunlight, it contrasted with the Hui-style houses with pink walls and black tiles, like a dreamlike landscape painting, which was extremely enchanting. The curling smoke, the blue sky, green mountains, pink walls, blue bricks, and black tiles in the rural scenery of the unity of man and nature present a dreamlike paradise, with a feeling of returning to nature and being extraordinary, which makes people intoxicated. The sky cleared up after the rain in the early morning, and the ancient Huizhou houses with pink walls and black tiles were looming in the mist, complementing the proud ancient maple trees, which was a beautiful sight.

Shicheng is the name of a mountain. Because the mountain here is steep and looks like a castle, it is called "Shicheng". It has been rated as "China's Top Ten Most Beautiful Maple Viewing Spots" and "East China's No. 1 Maple Viewing Wonderland".

Among the large and small villages in Wuyuan, the beauty of Shicheng is unique.

After seeing too much white walls and black tiles in Wuyuan, villagers drive to Shicheng to spend a morning, and they will find that Shicheng is not only blue bricks, black tiles and horse-head walls, but also the hazy mist, the curling smoke, the morning sun in the valley, the penetration and jumping of light, and an ink painting of cooperation between nature and man.

Shicheng is most beautiful in the morning, and the mountain road to get there is winding, so it is recommended to arrive in the afternoon before the sun sets, go to bed early after getting ready, and then get up at 5-6 am to watch the sunrise at the exhibition stand. If it is a day like mid-November, you may have to get up even earlier.

Shicheng Red Maple Leaf Scenic Area is located in Cheng Village of Dazhang Mountain in the northwest of Wuyuan County. They are located in the valley. The northwest side is the entrance, and the other sides are mountains near and far. The geographical location is conducive to photographing the morning fog. The highlight of Cheng Village in late autumn is the maple leaves. Cheng Village is surrounded by ancient maple trees on three sides, and one side is a small limestone hill for viewing. The old Hui-style houses and tall maple trees in the village are interspersed and arranged. The maple trees are dyed red, which is also amazing during the day. In the early morning, standing on the hillside, the rising sun peeks out from the east mountain, just side light, and the sunlight shines through the morning fog and cooking smoke on the entire village, turning the small mountain village into a "fairyland" in an instant.

The camera position here is actually the shooting angle. Some angles that have been explored are very cherished by photographers. The red leaves in Shicheng are mainly red maples, mixed with some nanmu, yew, Chinese fir, and locust trees. The tree height is more than 30 meters, much higher than the Huizhou buildings, so we need to stand at a high point, which is relatively better for overhead shooting.

If it weren't for the fame of the sunrise in Baishicheng, this place would probably be just an unknown village deep in the mountains, so the tourism industry is not well developed, and the accommodation conditions are all farmhouse standards, not very good, and there are no special hotels and restaurants. You can eat directly in the hotel where you stay. Fresh farm dishes only need simple cooking and they are delicious. The mountains are quiet at night, and there is no nightlife, but the advantage is that there is not much light pollution. The owner of the store recommends that you can enjoy the starry sky on the terrace, which is also a different kind of romance.

The best time to watch the sunrise in Shicheng is generally from mid-to-late November to early December, between 5 and 8 in the morning. I set the alarm that night and got up early the next morning. Before dawn, I followed the shop owner and the crowds of people and flashlights to the mountain. The hillside was already crowded with people, and there was no place to stay in the best viewing and photography positions. I could only go to a slightly off-site location to reserve a spot. In fact, the best locations in the hot season are all taken by photography enthusiasts themselves or by local villagers. They stay up all night the night before, which is really crazy.

The unique morning fog scene in Shicheng is formed due to the special mountain terrain and climate. The red maples, green mountains, pink walls and black tiles are all immersed in the misty fog and curling smoke, gathering together but not dispersing, looming, forming a dreamlike scene like a fairyland in the sky. The process will change with the morning fog and sunlight, presenting different beautiful scenery at different times.

Shicheng Chenxi is also a must-visit place for photography enthusiasts every autumn. There are several maple trees that have been planted for a long time. Every autumn, the maple forest is a fiery red, forming a beautiful picture with the white walls and gray tiles of the Hui-style buildings. The most beautiful morning light is artificially created...

Shicheng Village, Wuyuan, Jiangxi Province is located in Gutan Township, northwest of Wuyuan County. Shicheng is named because of its steep mountains that resemble a castle. It is 33 kilometers away from Qinghua Town, the center of the northern tourist line of Wuyuan, and borders Fuliang County.

When I walked into the nationally famous Wuyuan village, I was attracted by the scene that every village was like an oil painting and everywhere was full of scenery. It is indeed the most beautiful village in China!

The main villages on the west line of Wuyuan are concentrated in the valleys between the mountains. In autumn, the surrounding forests are dyed with red leaves, making it a popular place to enjoy the red leaves.

However, you have to get up early to take pictures of the morning fog, the mountain roads are muddy and difficult to walk (even if it is not raining), and the supporting facilities in the village are average and not very impressive. It is not recommended to stay in the village. You can come early in the morning, take pictures and leave.

When the leaves turn red, there is smoke from cooking, morning mist, sunshine, and Hui-style buildings, forming a natural picture.

The densely packed "photographers" all felt that they could take their own blockbuster photos here, and the scene was quite spectacular.

The autumn leaves have fallen in early winter. In the cloudy evening, the smoke from cooking rises like a red and red ink painting. Although I missed the best season, it was worth the trip!

The place is not what it seems. There are too many people and cars, the morning mist is fake, the backlight is not beautiful, and the maple is not red. It does not feel like a mountain village, but more like a grocery market. If you want to go, it is recommended to go in the afternoon to avoid the crowds.

There are two hills in the village where you can shoot sunset and sunrise. The hill next to the parking lot can shoot sunset, and the hill opposite the parking lot can shoot sunrise. The hillside is not steep, but there is no obvious road, so you need to climb up to find the position to shoot the sunset.

We arrived at the hillside at 6:30. At this moment, the bun-sized hillside was already crowded with photographers. According to my observation, the photos taken on this small platform would not differ much from left to right, so I took my girlfriend to find a relatively central point and waited there.

Around seven o'clock, as the sun rises higher, the light will gradually appear from the right side of the village.

The dark blue mountain village in front of me began to show a different feeling with the arrival of the first ray of light.

The light first illuminated the forest behind the village, and green appeared in the field of vision. When the light shone on the trees, red appeared in the picture.

Cheng Village itself is unremarkable, but the ancient red maple trees surrounding the village are the highlight. At dawn in autumn and winter, the morning mist slowly rises, half hanging on the tree waist, and the early risers light up the smoke from their cooking. The morning mist and the smoke blend together, and the sun shines down, creating a dreamlike beauty. The reason why the morning mist in autumn is even more fascinating is that the red maple trees are in the golden mist.

Climbing up the hill again, the village on the other side of the deserted hillside, at this moment, completely shrouded in sunlight, gave a different feeling from the morning mist, empty, pure and beautiful.

Shicheng is relatively seasonal. It is only popular from November to December. The main reasons for this are the maple leaves, the ancient village, the smoke from cooking fires and the sunrise. It is a paradise on earth.

Hui-style architecture, with black roofs and white walls, is a typical feature of Shicheng.

Maybe it was because of the off-season, there was no charge. The place where we took pictures was the Shicheng check-in photo spot. The guide said that Shicheng is the most beautiful in autumn. Many painters and photographers come here to collect inspiration.

I found a very clean farm house in Shicheng. The owner was very enthusiastic. After dinner, I asked her where to watch the morning fog tomorrow. She said on the mountain, and then took a flashlight to take me there. On the way, she said there were not many maple leaves this year, and they fell when they were not very red. After leaving the village, I said I remembered the way and asked her to go back. When we got to the mountain, we could overlook the whole Shicheng. The stars in the sky of Shicheng were bright and numerous at night, just like when I was a child, and there was no light pollution. It must be very beautiful to take pictures of star trails, but I didn’t have the patience to wait that long, so I went back after playing on the mountain for a while.

The morning fog in Shicheng is actually the smoke from the villagers cooking in the morning. Because the weather was bad when I went there, it would be more beautiful if the sun could shine in after sunrise. But the smoke was too strong. Although the scenery is beautiful, it is not environmentally friendly! The scenery is still beautiful when hiking from Shicheng to Changxi.

The road to Shicheng is winding. Villagers collect fees at the intersection and you have to pay 60 yuan before you can enter the village. The village is full of towering ancient trees with lush branches and leaves. Under the sunlight, the trees are colorful and dazzling. You can climb up to the observation deck along the mountain road behind the village and have a bird's eye view of the whole village. It is surrounded by green mountains, peaceful and beautiful, but with a bit of commercial atmosphere. The ancient charm of the village is slowly disappearing.

On November 26, 2017, I joined a tour group to Wuyuan to enjoy the autumn scenery, and Shicheng was an important stop.

Because I was traveling with a tour group, I arrived a little late due to the driver's problem, so I couldn't get a good camera position. The light that day was also a little bad, and the "Tyndall effect" was not obvious enough.

It is said that in order to ensure the best landscape effect and attract tourists, the local government requires villagers to light firewood at fixed times, such as 06:00-08:00. Of course, the government gives some subsidies.

Shicheng is a little far from the county, about an hour and a half drive away. The county bus goes to Lingyan Cave to Shicheng, but there must be two or three people on the bus going there, otherwise it will only go to the Lingyan Cave intersection, and you have to take a bus to go up by yourself. The road to the top is a winding mountain road, and it takes several hours to walk up. There are many people living in Shicheng, and almost every household is a hotel. You can get food where you live. Maple leaves are a few large maple trees in the village, not the kind that are all over the mountains. There are many such large trees in the village, and they are hundreds of years old.

I have read many travel notes of others. The pictures of Shicheng captured by other people's cameras are so beautiful. We came at the wrong time, and I feel that it is still a little different from what we saw in other people's cameras.

From Changxi to Shicheng, the 13-kilometer rugged mountain road was so drenching with sweat that we had to walk down it with heavy gear. When we walked into Shicheng, the leisurely tranquility of the town combined with the scenery everywhere made people forget their fatigue and set up their long guns and short guns.

I got up at 4:30 in the morning on the 7th, and went to take pictures of Shicheng Chengcun, which was looming in the smoke, before the sun came out. Shicheng is the name of a mountain, also called Shicheng Mountain. There are two villages on the mountain: Chengcun and Daicun. The entire village of Daicun is paved with bluestone slabs. The traces of history left over over the years also make the world remember the bluestone ancient post road of Daicun. Chengcun is a typical Hui-style building with white walls, gray tiles and horse head walls. In the early morning, the whole Chengcun is looming in the curling smoke in the village, like a fairyland. There is a small hillside between Daicun and Chengcun, and maple trees are dotted behind the villages. In autumn, the maple leaves are red all over the hillside, which is the first choice for countless tourists and photography enthusiasts. Among them, Chengcun is surrounded by maple trees on three sides and a small limestone hillside on one side. The morning fog hangs halfway up the trees, and the smoke in the village is particularly mysterious, which is very popular with photography enthusiasts. (You must arrive early to find a good shooting location. If you are late, it will be taken by other people.) Because the weather was not good, it started to rain as soon as I arrived at the hillside, and it kept raining harder and harder. The shooting environment was greatly reduced, but it still couldn't block the beauty of Shicheng, just as although the good time was gone, the beauty was retained.

We arrived on November 19th. The maple leaves had not yet turned red, there were many tourists, and the scenery was mediocre. I regretted not keeping Wuyuan forever in my expectations.

The maple leaves this year are not red at all. The weather is very bad. It is good to have one sunny day a week. Although there are homestays and farmhouses everywhere in Shicheng Village to attract tourists, the commercial level is not serious. If there were no red maples, Shicheng would just be an underdeveloped rural area with limited accommodation conditions. As for the 12-kilometer hiking trail from Shicheng to Changxi, the scenery is also ordinary. Generally speaking, it is not recommended to go there.

I have seen a lot of pictures online, saying that the morning here is the most beautiful time, with mist and smoke lingering around the ancient Huizhou village, and red maple leaves on the ancient trees. Unfortunately, we came at the wrong time, not in the morning, and the maple leaves were only one-tenth red. Shicheng Mountain is a karst landform, very similar to the Stone Forest in Yunnan. There are still two lonely old ancestral halls in the village, and the ancient maple tree at the entrance of the village is also the most beautiful we have ever seen.

Now Shicheng charges 60 yuan for tickets, while Changxi Village does not charge tickets. I personally prefer the scenery of Changxi Village. The scenery is similar, with the same Hui-style buildings and white-walled and gray-tiled buildings, but the scenery of Changxi Village is more beautiful. If you go to Changxi Village, you can go to Shicheng or not. The above is just my personal opinion. But the beauty of Shicheng needs to be discovered slowly.

Shicheng is about 60 kilometers away from Wuyuan County, and it takes about 1.5 hours to drive. It is a more remote scenic spot in Wuyuan. Usually the most beautiful season in Wuyuan is when the rape flowers bloom in April. But the characteristic of Shicheng is the maple leaves in autumn. In fact, the Shicheng scenic area is composed of two villages, Chengcun and Daicun. A small hill is between the two villages. This small hill is also the best place to shoot the autumn colors of Shicheng. There is an observation deck on the hill, which is the best place to shoot the sunrise in the morning. We live in Chengcun, and it takes more than 10 minutes to get to this hill. The hill is not high. Daicun is even closer to this hill. The owner of the inn told us to go up the mountain early, otherwise there would be no camera position. We got up at 4:30 in the morning, and after a simple wash, we went up to the top of the mountain at 5 o'clock. At this time, there were already 2 people who got there first. They came up after 3 o'clock. The observation deck can accommodate less than 10 shooting positions. Our position is not bad. Most of the latecomers could only go to the hillside below the viewing platform, which could accommodate at least dozens of people. But the location was relatively low, and the view was a little worse. Unfortunately, it was foggy that morning, there was no sunrise, and the leaves were not red. I left with regrets and will come back later.

The autumn red leaves scenic area is more beautiful, but the entrance fee is (high), and the service is more barbaric, quarrels with tourists often occur, accommodation and food are very expensive! The mountain is high and the road is dangerous, you have to concentrate when driving (dangerous, really dangerous)!

It was raining heavily when I went there, so I drove early in the morning and the road conditions were relatively good. It is recommended to stay in Shicheng for one night, preferably in the early morning in autumn.
