This area has karst landforms rarely seen in the north. Longhua Mountain Prajna Cave is the most famous attraction in the scenic area. There are incense burning in the cave for both Taoism and Buddhism.

I first visited Bingyu Valley in 1995 on a business trip with my research group. My second visit was in May 1999, when my company organized a group of young people to celebrate Youth Day. This time, I went with a few friends and our children in 2013. Each experience has been different. But what remains constant is that the river remains as clear and the mountains as beautiful. It's a summer resort.
Bingyu Valley is a must-see for travelers visiting Zhuanghe. A full day is enough to explore it all, and in the evening, you can book a stay at a farmhouse in the mountains to enjoy the famous local chicken and farmhouse meals. The scenic area is large, with a playground, lake sightseeing boats, and more, perfect for family outings. The natural scenery is stunning. Of course, many artificial landscapes have been built recently, and the area is now well developed.
I am a tour guide myself. I have never been to Bingyu Valley before, so today is my first time to Bingyu Valley. As a tour guide from Dalian, I feel really sorry to see the scenic spot gradually disappearing. I had high expectations for Bingyu Valley before I went there, but I was quite disappointed. There were abandoned buildings everywhere around, and from the entrance of the scenic spot, you can see garbage and bottles floating on the lake. The environmental quality really needs to be improved. It is indeed quite different from the "Little Guilin in the North" that everyone often talks about.
The tours in the scenic area are divided into Shuanglonghui and Yingna River. There are many self-funded projects, most of which can be bargained. Recently, a new glass plank road has been added (payment must be made in cash, and eight yuan is required for shoe covers). If you want to go rafting, you have to row the boat yourself, which is quite tiring to be honest. The cable car can overlook Bingyu Valley from a high altitude, and there are also some water amusement facilities. Except for the glass plank road, most of them can be paid online.
If you have not been to Bingyu Valley, I still hope you will go there. The various pictographic stones formed by the karst landform and the scenery upstream of Yingna Lake are the most beautiful places in the entire scenic area (the boat tour is included in the ticket).
I hope Bingyu Valley will get better and better. It is the wish of every Dalian tourist ❤❤❤
Disappointed, disappointed. It's worth fifty at most. Overdevelopment has turned a good scenic spot into an amusement park.
Bingyu Valley, known as the "Little Guilin of Liaodong," is located in Zhuanghe City, Dalian, approximately 240 kilometers from downtown Dalian. Driving via the Dandong-Dalian Expressway is recommended, but it's a bit of a drive after exiting. It's best to use a navigation system, as the road signs are not very clear. Tour groups are available from downtown Dalian, offering one-day and two-day tours. One-day tours are more time-sensitive, while two-day tours include an overnight stay at a farmhouse near Bingyu Valley, which offers a pleasant atmosphere. The guides also differ in their approach to the one-day and two-day tours. Bingyu Valley is indeed beautiful, worthy of its title of "Little Guilin of Liaodong." However, there are many optional activities within the scenic area, which depends on your preferences. Furthermore, the burning of incense and worshipping Buddha within the scenic area is quite out of place. I personally stayed away from them. I even offered money to the monks, who whispered something in my ear, and the money was placed under a small Buddha statue in front. It's best to visit Bingyu Valley on weekdays. We went on May Day, and it was overcrowded.
Known as "Little Guilin" by locals, it features karst landforms, green waters, and bamboo rafts.
I haven't been to Guangxi, but I think Bingyu Valley is beautiful. At least you can't miss it when you come to Dalian.
I booked a very cheap round-trip day trip from downtown Dalian online. There was no shopping involved, so I recommended paying my own way. As the only person in the group who didn't buy any activities, I was a bit cold to the tour guide, but it didn't affect the itinerary.
Bingyu Valley is a good place for those who like to see the scenery, but the ticket price is 148 yuan, and the scenery is not particularly good. Other than that, there are a lot of expenses!
The best part is here. When you first enter, you take a boat to the other side. Then, you can take a boat tour around the canyon and the lake with your ticket. The canyon and the lake are quite beautiful. In some places, you can take a small boat and then take a very short cable car. I don't know if there is an additional fee. There are not many other places to visit. The scenic area was destroyed by floods in early 2018. Part of it was still under construction when I went there, so there are very few places to visit. Overall, I felt ripped off at 150 yuan per person. Later, I went to Jinshitan for 70 yuan per person. The scenery was not much better. In short, the value for money is very low and I don't recommend it.
You have to pay for every step you take, big or small, which affects your mood. The natural scenery is okay, but the facilities are old. I don't want to come here again. That's it.
It's a place with nice mountain and water views, but it has a very strong commercial atmosphere and is completely unplanned. You can't escape the bombardment of posters and banners when you want to take a photo.
Bingyu Valley, known as the Little Guilin of the North, is a great place to get up early with a few friends, pack your bags, and head out. Before we go, let's show off a bit. There are plenty of accommodations in Bingyu Valley, so choose one based on your preferences. Our selection criteria were two-fold: cleanliness and fast internet. The farmhouse vegetable rafting is just outside the gorge. We arrived at noon on the first day and opted for rafting. The next day, we'll go rafting on the Yingna River. Organizing a large group is essential, especially for water fights. A mahjong game in the evening is a must-have for any trip. The next morning, we prepared to enter the gorge. We took a boat to the other side of the river. My favorite scene was the small bamboo rafts. They were absolutely stunning. The water was crystal clear, reflecting the mountains on both sides. It was truly a fairyland. In fact, every vacation of at least three days should include a nearby outing. Being young means being on the go.
The scenery is really comparable to Guilin! Especially Yingna Lake, it is really beautiful~~~
The natural scenery is great, with mountains, water and woods. It is worthy of being called the Little Guilin of Northeast China.
I don't think Bingyu Valley is very big, but if there's a path, it's worth checking out – it's quite a workout. The route from the East Gate is basically a boat ride – walk – boat ride – walk back – boat ride (East Gate exit). The first boat ride is right at the entrance, and it's a shorter one, taking you to smaller attractions like Little Guilin, the Folk Customs Garden, and the Racecourse. The second boat ride takes you on a non-stop tour of the mountains and rivers, returning after a full circle. So if you have enough time, I think you can take the boat ride first, then return and explore the various scenic spots.
The scenery is actually OK, but it is overdeveloped. There are all kinds of inexplicable activities such as pirate ship rafting and horse riding. Part of the scenic area is currently closed, but the ticket price is still 120, and there is no standard for charging inside. It's quite disappointing... Not worth it
It is a pity that the best natural scenic spot in Nangou, known as Little Guilin, is closed; however, the environment of the entire park is still very good, and the boat ride is still worth taking, and the boat ticket is included in the ticket.
I want to give it one star, which is a bit subjective, but I really don't recommend going there. Everything is for making money. It is far from the level of Jiuzhaigou, especially the management level and natural ecology. Moreover, the dishonesty of the Northeast is also fully reflected in this scenic area. The national nature reserve was actually contracted to an individual, which is ridiculous. As a result, it has become like this in a few years. The scenic area of Little Guilin has disappeared. There is still a sign saying the way to Little Guilin. When you enter, all kinds of people ask if you want to ride a horse. Go further in, and it's gone.
Bad attitude. Also second consumption. There is no place where you don't spend money. Bad bad bad
We climbed the mountain and had a panoramic view. Suddenly we found that Bingyu Valley was so small.
Of course, if there is continuous rain or cloudy days, the beauty of Bingyu Valley will indeed be greatly reduced. However, after the rain, especially after heavy rain, if the weather is clear, there will be a sea of clouds or mist, quietly entwined between the handsome and tall peaks, across the sky.
Known as Little Guilin, the scenery is indeed beautiful and worth a visit!
Bingyu Valley is a well-known scenic spot in Dalian, known as the Little Guilin of the North. While it was quite crowded during the National Day holiday, it was generally possible to get around. Regarding parking, the traffic starts about one kilometer from the entrance to Bingyu Valley, and there are also tour buses parked along the roadside, so I recommend looking for street parking. In various open spaces, in front of and behind hotels, there will be people like "uncle," "second uncle," or even a young man from the countryside, walking you through the parking lot with a walkie-talkie and a wad of cash. The price depends on your bargaining power. We drove two cars from the hotel and negotiated a price of 80 yuan for two cars, down to 50 yuan, which saved us a lot of time in traffic. There's also a parking lot at the innermost part of the scenic area, and the fee seems to be 20 yuan per car, but I didn't bother to ask. The mountains are still the same, and the water is still quite clear, but I feel that the management and operation of Bingyu Valley is still lacking. It's not very standardized, and many projects are contracted out.
It was a very disappointing trip. Entering the East Gate was a complete scam. After taking the free ferry, I was taken to another port. I couldn't continue exploring without paying 5 yuan. Such a rip-off! Then, at the Little Guilin scenic area, there was a repaired bridge that wouldn't let me cross. It said it wasn't licensed. They insisted I pay to cross the "Wealth Flowing Bridge," which I found even worse than the unlicensed one! There was nothing to see inside, and many attractions were inaccessible. It was impossible to walk across! Overall, I was extremely disappointed and strongly recommend it. Anyone who goes there will regret it! [Angry]
Northeastern people call this place Little Guilin. The natural scenery is quite good and it is worth a visit.
Bingyu Valley is a beautiful scenic spot, but the weather wasn't kind that day. It rained heavily, and because of the rain, there were power outages, and the accommodations were very poor. Here are just a few photos from the trip, as I spent a lot of time hiding from the rain and didn't have much fun. As evening approached, the sky gradually cleared up, but due to the rain, many of the attractions were closed.
1. Most of the scenery is pure natural, and the trees grow naturally. The scenery inside Lake Seine is also very beautiful. It feels very comfortable to enter, and the air is very fresh. There are mountains, water and woods. It is a good place for vacation. The water is particularly clear, and there are many fish in it. The scenery is really beautiful.
2. Fees. As a 4A-level scenic spot, military officer certificates, disability certificates, student certificates, and other documents cannot be used, and no discounts are available. It is obvious that this is not a government-owned scenic spot, and it must be a private scenic spot. The ticket price is 120 yuan per person. According to tourists inside, it includes a 40 yuan boat fee and an 80 yuan ticket. If you don't take the boat, the ticket price is 80 yuan, but I see that the tickets are all connected and should not be separated. After driving quite far inside, there is a parking lot with people watching cars. It is relatively safe, but cars are not allowed to drive in. They want you to take a sightseeing bus for 20 yuan per person. It is recommended that you don't need to sit if you want to feel nature. It's not too far inside and you can walk there. After walking all the way in, you will reach a place with bamboo rafts, which you can row by yourself. The problem is that you can't even row for 5 minutes. The fee is 100 yuan per person. If you are not with a group or with a tour guide, you can As for bargaining, I don't need to go into details. There is a Lover's Bridge next to it, which costs 2 yuan per person. These two yuan are required. Only after spending the 2 yuan can you take the boat included in your ticket. There is a big iron gate that you can go directly through, but it looks locked. Otherwise, how can they charge a fee? It's so unscrupulous. After crossing the bridge, you have to walk a distance to take the boat. It's not that smooth. Be mentally prepared. You can't take the boat directly. You need to take a ferry for 5 yuan per person. How far is the distance? It takes less than 2 minutes to get to the land. Otherwise, why are there so many compulsory consumptions? It uses a boat ticket to attract you, and you have to spend all kinds of fees. After going through all kinds of twists and turns, you can get on the so-called free boat. The merchant is really good at calculating. Later, I finally got on the free boat, but it still costs 5 yuan per person to get to the other side for 2 minutes when I come back.
3. When I came out, it was around 5 o'clock and most places had already closed. In short, it was the end of a day's travel. I was very tired. The scenery was beautiful, the merchants were very domineering, and other than the strong commercial atmosphere, everything else was good.
And the endless mountain ranges, rising and falling one after another, filled me with admiration for Bingyu Valley's beauty... I heard there's a stone resembling the one where Tang Sheng and his four disciples journeyed to seek Buddhist scriptures? My mind wandered just now, and I wonder if that's the picture? As the boat continued to move forward, taking in the scenery on both sides, I couldn't help but recall the poem, "The monkeys on both sides cry incessantly, while the light boat has already passed through thousands of mountains." Before I knew it, this trip to Bingyu Valley was drawing to a close. I can only sum it up in four words: "It was well worth the trip!" OVER, a perfect day...
I've been there three times, and the photo shows my second visit. It was raining there, which was quite special. My first visit was before college, 10 years ago. The environment was much better then, not as polluted as it is now. Some say it's too commercialized now, but I don't think so. It's just a place with convenient services. Overall, if you're just relaxing in Northeast China, I recommend a stroll. If you're traveling far away, I really don't recommend it. It's not a particularly unique or representative attraction, and I'm afraid you'll be disappointed. Fortunately, transportation is quite convenient. It's really nice to breathe in the fresh air amidst the mountains and rivers.
2013.09.08 Didn't go. 2007.06.03 It was fun. I felt the scenic area was a bit desolate and the maintenance was not as good as before. After all, it is still the Little Guilin of Southern Liaoning, so it is still worth visiting.
There are mountains and water, the mountains are beautiful and the water is clear. Sit on the boat and watch the various shapes of rocks on both sides of the river, which will activate your imagination.
The place is beautiful, but there are many self-funded projects. The tour guide will ask you to buy various packages on the bus. Friends who go there for the first time are advised to buy them, because the tour guide will not be happy if you don't buy them. You have to pay at least 80 yuan for the battery car, otherwise the tour guide will talk endlessly. We chose Huayang Hostel when we set out from Anshan. It's really not good. The tour guide is a black. In fact, the price can be negotiated. It depends on personal ability. If you don't buy, the tour guide will threaten you and not give you meals and tickets. In the end, of course she didn't dare, but she was quite arrogant. Alas, this is a failure. I didn't report it. The scenery is beautiful and the air is good. I recommend the cable car. The angle of view from high altitude is different and beautiful. I heard that the lowest price can be 80. The bamboo raft depends on the individual. If friends who have rowed before don't recommend it, you can try it for the first time. It's not far. Just play for the mood. Overall, it's good!
From Dalian, take the Dan-Da Expressway, exit at Zhuanghe East Station, and head north to a three-way intersection called Zhongtun. There's a sign pointing to Xianrendong Town, and a large sign advertising the Bingyu Valley Tourist Resort stands on the side of the road. Once you reach Xianrendong Town, you can choose from two directions: the east gate is traditionally referred to as the Bingyu Valley entrance, while the south gate is known as the Xianrendong Nature Reserve entrance. Bingyu Valley's best season is from mid-May to mid-October. After mid-May, the scenery matures, while after mid-October, it begins to decline. Food and drink within the scenic area are very expensive, so it's recommended to bring your own.
It was said to be a private scenic spot contracted and built by an individual, and the various fees were extremely expensive. At that time, more than 20 people from a class signed up for a one-day tour. However, after the group was formed, the tour guide told us that it was very good and there were no mandatory consumptions. As a result, when we were about to arrive, he started saying that this was a must-add project, such as taking a bamboo raft and so on, and started asking everyone to pay. As a result, more than 20 of us did not want to take the bamboo raft, and the tour guide ignored us, saying that if we did not pay, he would not take us to play and so on. Finally, he told us what time to gather and left us alone.
In fact, after entering, walk left to the place where you can take the bamboo raft. There is a small path next to it. Walk to the beach in front of the hill and you can see a bunch of bamboo rafts left by many climbers. You can just use one to cross the river a few meters wide. The hill is very low, only about 20 to 30 meters, but it is a bit steep. After coming out from there, walk back and keep to the left, which is the inner side of the river. You can bypass the toll bridge at the door. This is the first time I have seen that you have to pay to cross a small broken bridge in a scenic area. My complaints end here.
The scenic area is not big and not much has been developed. It is just bustling with a lot of people. It is relatively cold inside and the wind is strong on the lake. You have to bring a coat even in summer. The scenery looks good at first glance, but the scenery is similar and there is no particularly outstanding scenery, so my impression of it is limited.
The entrance fee is 120 yuan per person, including a boat ticket to Yingna Lake, but not the required ferry ride within the scenic area, which is 3 yuan per person, or 6 yuan round trip. There's also a section that requires access via some recreational facilities, for which a 2 yuan fee is added. However, the scenery is beautiful, with karst landforms and the Changbai Mountains. Accommodation in the small cabins within the scenic area is fine; while expensive, they are very clean. However, the restaurants are not good; they are both expensive and unhygienic. It's recommended to bring your own food. The average cost per person is around 500 yuan, and the trip lasts two days, so you can only explore half of the area in one day.
Bingyu Valley is located over 230 kilometers from Dalian City, within Zhuanghe County. Admission is 120 yuan. The scenic area is quite large, featuring stunning lake and mountain scenery, earning it the nickname "Little Guilin of Northeast China." Within the area lies Yingna Lake, a vast, clear lake. Boat trips are available, circling the lake halfway to a pillar-like peak in its center before returning to the dock. The scenic area, with its breathtaking scenery, is a popular summer escape. A full day is required to explore the entire area.
Bingyu Valley is located in Xianrendong Town, Zhuanghe City, one of Dalian's "Three Northern Cities," 240 kilometers from downtown Dalian. Known as the "Little Guilin of the North" and the "Jiuzhaigou of the Northeast," Bingyu Valley boasts a karst topography. Three mountains serve as a screen, and two rivers encircle it. The scenic landscape, with jagged rocks and towering peaks, is distinct from the sea of clouds of Huangshan Mountain or the Three Gorges of Jiuzhaigou and Guilin, but possesses its own unique character. Guests can go rafting in Tianmen Gorge (the highest rafting experience in Northeast Asia) or hike Buyun Mountain (over 1,100 meters, Dalian's highest peak). A two-day visit to Bingyu Valley is recommended: the first day explores the Yingna River Reservoir section of the scenic area by boat, and the second day explores the Xianren Cave section, featuring attractions such as the Fairy Bath, Fairy Stone, Monkey Offering Peaches, the Yingna River Reservoir, Pinghu Xieyu, Xianren Cave, and Sheepback Stone (Ice Age) with its numerous waterfalls and springs. You can choose when to enjoy the rafting or hiking; two days are sufficient. The ticket for Bingyu Valley is 120 yuan. There are river crossing boats within the scenic area, which cost three yuan per person. The boat ticket for Yingna River is included in the 120 yuan.
Admission to Bingyu Valley is 120 yuan per person (including the boat ticket), 95 yuan per person for students with a student ID, and 95 yuan per person for seniors 70 and older with a senior ID. Children under 1.3 meters are free, while those over 1.3 meters are charged an adult ticket. It's important to note that the so-called discounted tickets available at local vendors are actually for Buyun Mountain Hot Springs and local rafting. Bingyu Valley tickets are not discounted unless you're traveling with a tour group! Don't be tempted by the so-called discounted Bingyu Valley tickets, as you'll need to pay extra after entering to board the boat. Don't be tempted by the small price and end up paying for it later. Remember this!
It is known as the Little Guilin of the North. It has a typical karst landform and a cool and pleasant environment, making it a great place to escape the summer heat.
We drove from Huludao to Dalian, but didn't drive our own car to Bingyu Valley, which significantly reduced the quality of our experience. We signed up for a tour group from Dalian, and took a bus. To save on highway tolls, the bus took the national highway, which was so shaky that I got a bit carsick. We left Dalian at 8:00 AM and arrived at Bingyu Valley a little after 1:00 PM. By the time we were rafting, it was already dark, and the scenic area had no staff to guide us. We ended up getting stranded in the river in the dark, and both the elderly and children were terrified. Eventually, after negotiation, the scenic area refunded our rafting fees. I returned to Dalian feeling very upset, and I'll never sign up for a tour group again!
Although it is known as the "Little Guilin of the North", it is actually far inferior to Guilin. However, it is still quite nice to have such scenery in the north. The part that feels most like Guilin is when the boat is sailing on the water.
We arrived at Bingyu Valley. The scenery was truly stunning. It was definitely worth the trip. The mountains were stunning, and the water was crystal clear.
The most beautiful ravine in Liaoning! ~~ We went there at the end of May, and the weather wasn't very good. However, the drizzle and mist in the mountains made it very beautiful.
Bingyu Valley Scenic Area is located near Xianrendong Town, 40 kilometers north of Zhuanghe City, Dalian, and 240 kilometers from Dalian city. With picturesque scenery and winding streams, the area boasts over 40 towering peaks and over 20 caves of varying sizes, earning it the nickname "Guilin of the North."
The tour officially begins after entering the gorge. The ticket price is 120 yuan/person, and 95 yuan/person with a student ID. The east gate of Bingyu Valley is like the gate of a small park in the city, not at all eye-catching. Since we went there early, there were not many individual tourists, but there were two tour groups, and you could join them.
Admission to Bingyu Valley is 120 yuan, with a 15% discount for seniors. After entering, take a boat from Xianren Ferry to Shuanglonghui. We didn't go to the Yingna River, where the scenery is stunning, but we missed it. We paid another 3 yuan for a boat ticket to Little Guilin. This area is similar to Longqing Gorge in Beijing, with picturesque scenery and rafting. It's probably best to visit in the summer. I personally feel the area is too commercial, with too many attractions, especially the electric buses, which cost 20 yuan per person. The narrow tree-lined avenues are constantly filled with the clamor of their horns, disrupting the natural harmony. The return boat trip was especially intense, with lines and cut-throat traffic, and the crowds were reckless. There was no one to maintain order in the scenic area, which was completely worth the price of admission.
It is known as the Little Guilin of the North. The transportation is relatively convenient, but the supporting facilities are not very complete and the software is relatively weak.
Bingyu Valley is located in Zhuanghe City, under the jurisdiction of Dalian City. It is known as the Guilin of the North. The beautiful scenery and landscape here make it a great place for summer vacation.
Upon entering Bingyu Valley, I was immediately struck by the vastness of the mountains and rivers. The sheer expanse of the landscape was truly breathtaking! The bizarrely shaped rocks truly made it a true "Little Jiuzhaigou" (a miniature Jiuzhaigou) awe-inspiring! Once ashore, the scenery was breathtaking—beautiful mountains, beautiful waters, and the fact that you could actually walk through the middle of a waterfall was truly impressive! However, there were a few hidden fees, perhaps due to the overdevelopment process. Alas! A small regret!
The scenery in Bingyugou Park is OK, it feels like going to the south of the Yangtze River. But the commercial atmosphere is too strong, it is a waste of natural resources.
The legendary crocodile pond has many small fish. As long as you throw something into the water, the small fish will swarm in.
Bingyu Valley is a very good scenic spot known as the Little Guilin of the North with its unique rocks and clear water.
Green mountains and clear waters,
Beautiful beyond words,
The sight is all green.
Clear river water,
Since the camera is not professional, it is a bit regrettable
I went there over a decade ago and the scenery was beautiful. A decade later, I went back and it was incredibly worse. I heard the site is under contract to a local, bankrupt individual. It's overly commercialized, with small vendors everywhere. There's no uniform, so you can't tell who's working. I can't agree with the architectural style. There's trash everywhere. In a nutshell, they're all about charging money. The 148 yuan ticket price is not worth it; it's only 50 yuan. There's no queuing barrier at the ticket office, so anyone can just jump the queue. I won't be back.
