The Qarhan Salt Lake is the largest salt lake in China and one of the most famous inland salt lakes in the world. The Qinghai-Tibet Railway passes through it.
The first thing you see when you enter the factory is a salt lake museum, which displays the formation history and mining process of the Qarhan Salt Lake. There is a "salt lake wonder" crystal at the entrance, which is very interesting.
There is a road in the scenic area that is paved with salt and extends to the lake - the Wanzhang Salt Bridge. The hardness is the same as that of ordinary asphalt roads. When the road is damaged, it can be restored by pouring some brine on it.
There are white salt crystals on both sides of the salt lake, and the lake water is transparent and green. On sunny days, the surrounding scenery, sky and white clouds are reflected in the lake, making it an excellent place for photography.

You need to enter the Qarhan Salt Lake from the factory, and you need to swipe the access card to enter. It cost 50 yuan for two people to drive in on a motorcycle (in fact, you can just go in with the car, it doesn’t cost any money).
One kilometer into the scenic area, in fact, it is not the salt lake, but the salt pan. The salt lake will be 10 kilometers later, but there are many freight trucks, and it is difficult to find the salt lake without a guide. In addition, the salt pan behind is not as beautiful as the scenic area in front, so it is enough to take a look at it from one kilometer. Compared with Chaka, it wins because there are fewer people.
Dilemma 5: Yantian roads are slippery, so self-driving friends please be careful! Anyway, we fell.
The Chaerhan Salt Lake is located inside the factory. If you want to see its true appearance, you naturally need to pass the gate inspection. Near the gate, some locals will usually come up and ask if they want to go to the Chaerhan Salt Lake. It costs a few dozen yuan per person. Don't be fooled, there is no ticket for the Chaerhan Salt Lake! Nian Nian and Wang finally followed a few out-of-town cars into the factory. It's funny to say that whether they were allowed in or not depended on the mood of the security guard at the gate. Although we were lucky enough to get in for free, this scene really disappointed us. The rain made the salt lake very turbid, which was far from what we saw when we made the strategy before.
However, the further you go in, the larger the area of salt accumulation on the shore becomes, and the deeper it becomes. It looks like snow, doesn’t it? It’s a different way to go and I had a lot of fun!
A very stunning attraction is the salt pan of the Salt Industry Company. It is in a remote place, so there are relatively few people there. The scenery is very beautiful. Because it is not open to the public, there is no entrance fee. However, sometimes you cannot drive in. You need to take a local car or have the local bring the car in. You need to pay some fees, which can be negotiated. But it is worth visiting.
Because potassium salt is the main salt here, the color of the lake water is not white, but green. There are many factories around the Chaerhan Salt Lake, and many lands are fenced off for drying salt and then mining salt. It is currently free here, but the landscape avenue is being built, and it is said that it will be charged in the future. It is a real salt lake, but unfortunately it is separated by water and cannot reach the lakeside. The salt bank is a very suitable place for taking pictures. The landscape avenue is under construction. The landscape avenue is roughly rectangular in shape. The entire road surface is pressed with a mixture of salt and soil. We went around and ran for almost 50 kilometers. It is definitely not short. The only regret is that we can't reach the salt lake in the distance. After all, there is real natural. Another thing is that the time to go is not very suitable. It happened to be noon, and the light was too strong, which was not conducive to shooting.
The Chaerhan Salt Lake is absolutely beautiful!!! It is like a huge emerald on the loess land. In fact, there are many salt lakes in Qinghai. Qinghai Lake and Chaka Salt Lake also have their own beauty, but I prefer the seldom visited Chaerhan Salt Lake, mainly because the color of the water is very special. When you first enter this area, the water surface is not green, but a light yellow. After going deeper, it presents this emerald green color under the reflection of the sun~
The Qarhan Salt Lake is a relatively far scenic spot, and even the parking lot is free. The staff also provided us with water for the RV, which was very enthusiastic. However, we did not enter the ticketed scenic area, but went to "Above the Salt Sea" recommended by car friends. This is a free scenic spot on National Highway 215, which can park more than 10 cars. We set up camp here at night and watched the sunset and sunrise. It was very beautiful. My photo was taken at sunset, around 6 o'clock.
Chaerhan returned without seeing the (Salt) Lake
Qinghai used to be a vast ocean
The uplift of the crustal movement later became the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau
The minerals hidden underground formed today's Qarhan Salt Lake
.
Chaerhan means the king of salt
Indeed, the green of Chaerhan
Definitely comparable to the water in Jiuzhaigou
After Jiuzhaigou, don't look at water
Chaerhan returned without seeing the (Salt) Lake

I left all my favorite hats on the bus
How much I love this place!
No amount of words can describe
As a Chinese major, I am at a loss for words.

The picture is just adjusted for brightness
This green is real and visible to the naked eye!
Don't doubt it!

5. Please keep it clean and take care of this beautiful salt lake.
.
PS: Special thanks to Captain Wu for the aerial photography~
No tickets are required, but you need to take a scenic bus for 30 minutes to get to the scenic spot, round trip 100 yuan
After getting off, there are battery cars and multi-person bicycles to choose from.
In order to save time, it is best to take the scenic bus to the end and then spend 20 yuan to take the battery car to Qiandao Salt Flower.
The popular check-in spots are all in this area
After playing, walk back slowly and take photos while walking
The Qarhan Salt Lake is the largest salt lake in China, and is as famous as the Chaka Salt Lake. The salt lake is more than 160 kilometers long from east to west, 20 to 40 kilometers wide from north to south, with a salt layer thickness of about 2 to 20 meters and an area of 5,800 square kilometers.
We set off early in the morning and not far from the city we arrived at the Qarhan Salt Lake in Qinghai Province, which is also one of the most famous inland salt lakes in the world.
The Chaerhan Salt Lake is the lowest and most central part of the Qaidam Basin. It is more than 160 kilometers long from east to west, 20-40 kilometers wide from north to south, and covers an area of 5,800 square kilometers. The lake stores more than 50 billion tons of sodium chloride, which can be consumed by people all over the world for 1,000 years.
To go to the Qarhan Salt Lake, we need to pass through the Salt Lake Potassium Fertilizer Plant. We were blocked for a while. Finally, thanks to the lobbying of the beautiful Xiao Wu who was in the same car, the leader at the gate agreed to let us drive through the factory for free. However, in the end, we were also banned from entering the most core tourist area because it was free.
The Qarhan Salt Lake is located in a large potash fertilizer factory. You need to take a shuttle bus to get in (a bus leaves every 40 minutes). The factory is still in operation. In fact, there are not many places to play and take pictures. The scientific significance is more important than the entertainment significance. The Wanzhang Salt Bridge is the biggest highlight of the Qarhan Salt Lake. It is right at the end of the shuttle bus and is suitable for aerial photography. The whole salt lake is the color of mung bean soup. I heard that the color you see at different times of the day will be different. It should be related to the light.
The area around the salt lake is all white, and the weather is good, so it's quite sunny.
I originally thought that it was already a mature scenic spot, but when I went there this time I found that it was still in trial operation. No tickets were required, but the shuttle bus cost 50 yuan per person (to be honest, it was really expensive).
Speaking of "Sky Realm", if it is a nearby place, you think of Chaka Salt Lake, and if it is a far place, you think of Uyuni Salt Lake.
But you would never imagine that in Qinghai, there is a salt lake that is second only to Uyuni Salt Lake and 56 times the size of Chaka Salt Lake, the largest in China and the second largest in the world. It is a treasure trove hidden in the heart of the Qaidam Basin, an almost undeveloped wonderland...
It is not well known by people, but quietly exists in the western part of Qinghai, and its beauty has become a mirror forgotten by God and people....
There is no pollution and no crowds of people here. This is the Qarhan Salt Lake!
The ticket is 0 yuan, and it is quite nice inside with few tourists.
Play in the snow at the seaside in summer - Chaerhan Salt Lake welcomes you.
There is also a museum about salt inside.
Green apples and green sea, have you seen it? If not, come and see it!
The largest in Asia and the second largest in the world, it lives up to its reputation!
It is more worth seeing than Chaka Salt Lake. Not only for sightseeing, but also for understanding the composition of salt lakes and related knowledge.
Worthy of being a beautiful lake hidden in the heart of the basin, Chaka is incomparable.
The embankment, salt lake and blue sky appear to be made up of blocks of yellow-brown, snow-white, light yellow, light green, dark green and blue.
The salt cap deposited on the edge of the salt lake forms a beautiful white sand beach.
The turquoise lake water and pure white salt flats, reflected by the blue sky and white clouds, are also a tranquil and beautiful sight.
China's largest salt lake, Chaka Salt Lake, known as the Sky Realm, is just a small tourist attraction
Not only are there fewer people, but the scenery is also amazing. There is no entrance fee here. Are you already a little tempted? This place is the Chaerhan Salt Lake. The Qaidam Basin, located between the towering Kunlun Mountains and the Qilian Mountains, is famous at home and abroad as the "treasure bowl" of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and the heart of the Qaidam Basin is Chaerhan. The Chaerhan Salt Lake, also located in Qinghai, is as famous as the Chaka Salt Lake, but it has never been developed, and there are very few people coming here to play every day.
Although it is a small place, it is the largest salt lake in China and the second largest in the world, with an area of 5856km², 56 times larger than Chaka Salt Lake! The scenery here is so pristine that it is undecorated. The clear salt lake water, the salt flowers of various shapes, the thousand-meter salt bridge that looks like a fairyland... Every place is a sight to behold.
When I first saw Chaerhan, the sun was clear, the sky was clear, the water was clear and the shore was snowy. The vast salt lake under the natural filter looked like a beautiful pearl falling on the rugged plateau. For thousands of years, Chaerhan Salt Lake has coexisted with the towering Kunlun Snow Mountain and the vast Gobi Desert, like a giant jade inlaid in the desert.
Due to long-term exposure to wind and sun, a high concentration of brine has formed in the Qarhan Salt Lake, which gradually crystallizes into salt grains. No green plants grow here, but beautiful flowers bloom all year round.
If you want to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the salt lake, don’t miss this place!
It is an industrial salt factory, not a formal tourist attraction, but you can go in and visit. After the car drove to the gate, we changed to a local driver's car. I forgot how much it cost, but it was not low. You can negotiate the price. The Chaerhan Salt Lake is the largest salt lake in China, surpassing Chaka. It's just that Chaka has developed more tourism in recent years, and Chaerhan is not inferior at all.
The most beautiful sunset in life, bigger than Chaka Salt Lake, less crowded than Chaka Salt Lake, cleaner than Chaka Salt Lake, cheaper than Chaka Salt Lake, more beautiful than Chaka Salt Lake
It is a place that has yet to be developed. There are still factories around it and the roads are quite bad, but the scenery here is no worse than that of the Chaka Salt Lake.
I really think that the Qarhan Salt Lake is more beautiful than the Chaka Salt Lake. It has not been developed yet and there are fewer people. It is worth a visit.
Chaerhan Salt Lake - so beautiful that it will break your heart. It is desolate and lonely, but the scenery is endless.
We found a freshwater lake in the salt lake, which was very beautiful. We rested here for a long time.
Time seemed to stand still and my heart was surprisingly calm.
The Qarhan Salt Lake is inside the Salt Lake Potassium Fertilizer factory. Drive your car to a place where the door is not blocking the road, get out of the car and walk into the guard room. Then find a way to ask the security guard to open the door and let you in. That's how I got in.
To be honest: I was really shocked when I saw the salt lake for the first time. It is really too huge! Standing on the vast salt beach, looking at the endless salt lake like the sea, it really feels unreal!
It’s a pity that the weather was not very good when we arrived at the salt lake. The clouds were too thick and we completely lost the feeling of being illuminated by the afterglow of the sunset, but we still had a lot of fun.
Walking on the salt flats, the "crunching" sound under your feet is not the snow but the thick salt crystals, a vast white world. If the weather is good, it should be a very beautiful place!
The Qarhan Salt Lake is actually from the industrial zone. You have to pay 50 yuan to the security guard at the factory gate, which is considered as the ticket. But it is very big.
There is no entrance fee, the scenery is beautiful. After coming to the Qarhan Salt Lake, I don’t plan to go to Chaka again.
Private cars can enter for 100 yuan, but they can't find the salt flowers. The factory is very large and the terrain is very complicated. We asked the man at the door who claimed to be a factory employee to take us in and pick us up. Although the salt🌸 is not crystal clear (is it related to the season? The salt flowers have been exposed to the water for too long and are covered with dust?), the miraculous salt bridge has also disappeared. These beautiful lakes are hidden in the huge factory, and the steel factory buildings, piles of mined industrial salt and the roar of excavators still can't stop people from being amazed! Wait for six years after the 28th! It is said that this place will be developed into a scenic spot, and six years is enough to open. This niche and beautiful place is the last absolute secret in Qinghai. Note: There is no food in Chaerhan! The Gobi Desert is around the factory! Please prepare enough food and grass if you want to go!
The salt lake is located in the Qaidam Basin, inside a factory area. When you walk to the door you will be stopped and given 150 to let in.
The salt lake is very large, not inferior to the Chaka Salt Lake, but has far fewer people than the Chaka Salt Lake.
You must visit the Chaluhan Salt Lake when you arrive in Golmud.
There is no entrance fee to the salt lake. It is inside a factory and taxis are not allowed to enter the factory. You have to walk by yourself after getting off the car. If you want to see the scenery I saw, you don’t have to walk far.
It only takes about an hour to walk to the pier. I thought the scenery was beautiful enough and it would be about the same if I went to the pier, so I didn't continue walking.
I sat by the lake, enjoying the sun and the breeze. It was very comfortable and relaxing. I sat there for more than half an hour and no one walked by. Only cars drove by behind me. They couldn't appreciate the scenery along the way. I had it all to myself.
The salt lake is truly worthy of its name, even the road is made of salt. The Chaerhan Salt Lake is the largest salt lake in China, and standing by the lake feels like being at the seaside.
It is not as well-known as Chaka. Chaerhan is actually an industrial mining area, and relatively few people come here to play, so the scenery here still maintains its original ecology without any modification, pure air, blue sky, clear lake water, white salt flowers...
Compared with Chaka, the beauty of Chaerhan is purer. As the salt in the salt fields is mined all year round and the water in the lake is deep, you cannot walk around in many places like in Chaka.
When there is no wind, the lake reflects the pure blue sky and the buildings along the road. It is so beautiful that it makes it difficult to tell which side is the sky and which side is the earth.
In addition, the most ornamental thing about the Qarhan Salt Lake is the salt flowers. All kinds of strange salt flowers can be seen everywhere in the lake area. Under the sunlight, the salt flowers are as crystal clear as jade and emit dazzling light.
The Chaerhan Salt Lake is relatively small, but the scenery is more beautiful than Chaka, and it is sparsely populated. Chaerhan Salt Lake is the location of the Qinghai Potash Fertilizer Plant, so not many people come here, and because the loop line does not go through this place, few people know about it. No tickets are required. There are only a few of us in the huge salt lake!
As soon as we drove into the Chaerhan Salt Lake, there were bursts of screams in the car. Before the car stopped, everyone rushed to the salt lake. The various salt flowers in the lake were crystal clear and varied. The boundless lake surface was like a huge mirror. Friends and partners were screaming and making waves.
Such a beautiful Chalhan Salt Lake is: Free! Free! Free!
The car drove into the Chaerhan Salt Lake Avenue. There was salt underground! The driver said it seemed to have rained before, and the road was as slippery as driving on ice! On both sides of the road were endless salt lakes, which were several times larger than Chaka. Crystal clear salt flowers, want to know what they taste like? Lick them yourself~ I won't tell you if I don't want to tell you!
It's really beautiful. The white salt beach is grass green near the salt lake, and blue and connected to the sky in the distance. You need to wear sunglasses or it will be too dazzling. The salt lake is very large. There is a central viewing platform further ahead. It should be built specifically for visiting. After entering, we found that we were the only out-of-town car, and the others were local cars. Taxis were not allowed to enter the factory area. There were only three or five visitors. No one fought for seats. It was great to play freely.
The Chaerhan Salt Lake is in the factory area. There are three security checkpoints and a sign at the door. Visitors are not allowed. We went there at noon, afternoon, dusk, and sunset. It was the most beautiful.
If I don't wear glasses, I can't open my eyes. It's too bright.
It is still worth a visit. The sea is just as magnificent. I don't know where all the water comes from. The salinity is very high. Brine is not good for the skin. It is best not to touch it.
We went to the Chaerhan Salt Lake to take wedding photos. The photos have been edited, but the scene still shocked me. A local friend in Golmud took us to the salt lake. Although it was not a good season in early April, the salt crust had not formed, and it was only salt mud, deep and shallow, but I was still shocked. By the way, you must go in the evening when the sun sets. After a full lunch of hand-pulled mutton, take a rest, and then slowly set off. Don't forget that there is a 2-hour time difference between here and Beijing in theory.
It costs 20 yuan to get there from the Hexi roundabout. You have to walk a few kilometers from the salt factory to the center of the lake. I walked a few hundred meters and a curly-haired uncle stopped and took me to the center of the lake. Thank you, curly uncle.
I sat there for six or seven hours waiting for the sunset. It was so beautiful. I could see the four lakes, each with its own beauty.
The beauty is beyond description. I was shocked by the salt lake! The Mirror of the Sky
It's nice to take pictures when the sun sets. It's better to drive in at the end, otherwise you will have to walk too far in the factory area.
Very shocking, the most beautiful and largest mirror in the sky, beautiful beyond words
On the whole, it is just a factory that is still in operation, a potash fertilizer factory, and cannot be considered a proper scenic spot.
Generally, people are not allowed to drive into the factory area, but can walk in directly. However, the factory gate is probably about five or six kilometers away from the salt lake, and it would be very difficult to walk there.
The scenery is so-so, so you can't go down. There is a museum at the entrance of the factory that you can visit.
I took my father on a self-driving tour there in 2017. It is 60 kilometers away from Golmud City. It is in the factory area of Salt Lake Potash Fertilizer. You have to follow the rules, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and don’t leave any garbage!
A very special place, the Qarhan Salt Lake is actually a salt lake that is very rich in potassium, magnesium and lithium. Therefore, (* ̄m ̄) such a large place is not for tourists to play, but is used to develop the national economy.
I went there alone and had a lot of fun. I met a lot of people who helped and reminded me.
I will keep it in mind, thank you~
To go to Qarhan Salt Lake, take the highway at speed 50 and the low speed at speed 40.
I walked right into the salt lake and no one asked me for any fees.
Thanks to the security guard for taking me to the center of the lake and taking me back la la la la la
60 kilometers away from the city (highway), it is the largest salt lake in China. It is not a scenic spot, but a part of the salt factory. It is open to the public for free and you can drive directly into the factory. The salt lake is formed by the confluence of Lake Dabson and South and North Hobson, Senie and other salt ponds, with a total area of 5,856 square kilometers. The vast salt lake has no end in sight. There is a white sand beach by the lake. It will make a scratching sound when you step on it, and it flashes dazzlingly in the sun!
This is a factory and not many people come here. The water of the salt lake is crystal blue and the area is much larger than Chaka, but time was tight so we just played for a while.
For this salt lake, I just want to say that it is much more exciting than Chaka Salt Lake. Chaka Salt Lake only has scenery, but here there are humanities, scenery, history, etc. to appreciate, which is definitely worth the trip.
I didn't find the place closest to the salt lake, but I found the salt fields. However, the salt fields are also very beautiful. There are hundreds of salt fields. Find one where the water evaporates almost. When the weather is good, it definitely feels like a skyscape. It's a pity that I didn't see the salt flowers. There are basically no people. The factory area is very large and the road conditions are not very good.
It was good because there were not many people and there were no other creatures besides the four of us, which was great...
Very good, compared to Chaka Salt Lake, it is bigger. First of all, there are not many people, and secondly, there is no entrance fee, and the car can drive in directly without walking, but it is estimated that the car can not go in later, because the factory area is now strengthened. The people who went after us only walked. We drove for 30 minutes and didn't drive to the end. It is really very big. There is also a large salt lake in the map, but the water has been drained. There is no need to go deeper. Just look at the lakes outside.
The largest salt lake in China, but it is more like a salt field than a salt lake. This is the landscape inside the factory. There are guides at the door to take people in.
The Chaerhan Salt Lake is about 50 kilometers away from Golmud City. It is the largest salt lake in China and one of the most famous inland salt lakes in the world. It is one of China's mining bases and is located in the mining area of a company in Qinghai Province. It has been developed into a tourist area, but private cars are basically not allowed to enter. You have to transfer to the factory bus at the factory gate to enter. No tours are allowed after 5 pm. There are no public toilets near the salt lake.
It is more like a salt mine than a salt lake. The natural lake is no longer visible, and what can be seen are large tracts of salt fields. The colors are still beautiful, but they lack the natural liveliness and have more artificial carvings, which is a bit regrettable!
The salt lake is endless and you can never see the end. It is recommended to take some salt with you before leaving and put it in a glass jar as a souvenir.
It is indeed very big and beautiful. There are not many tourists. You can take a bus to the square.
Chaerhan Salt Lake·Mirror of the Sky
You may have heard of Chaka Salt Lake
You might call it the mirror of the sky
But please believe me, this will subvert your concept
It's a very nice place, much better than Chaka. It's an industrial salt lake, the brine is yellow-green, and when there's no wind, the water and sky are really one color.
China's largest salt lake, a mining salt lake, does not charge admission. Just follow the traffic into the factory area after getting off the highway. There is also a salt lake exhibition hall, which seems to be closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Direct dry goods
1. Lieping is recommended, much better than Chaka Salt Lake
2. It is not a tourist attraction, but a factory. There is no ticket. It is a rare place and a paradise for photographers.
3. The lake is even clearer than the sky, with a yellow-green reflection
4. Take the Chaerhan exit on the highway, and you can see the factory. Go into the factory and ask for the security road to the central wharf. The whole way is very beautiful.
5. The photo is in the camera, and the phone only has one work photo
The Qarhan Salt Lake is much quieter than Chaka. Because it is a factory, they are a bit casual about not opening to the public.
There is no crowds like Chaka Salt Lake and no entrance fee required
Natural industrial lake
The sunset in the evening is really beautiful
Industrial visits can be developed, but the management level needs to be strengthened.
We finally found the Qarhan Salt Lake, which is not open to commercial tourism. It is behind the potash fertilizer branch of Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co., Ltd., and you need to get permission from the gate guard to enter the factory. So the security guard at the gate charged 100 yuan per person for the so-called "ticket" (the salt factory is very large, and it takes several kilometers from the gate to the lake, so you have to drive into the hinterland of the salt factory to see the beautiful scenery of China's largest salt lake). We negotiated that we would take pictures until quite late, so it would be best to drive in by ourselves, 100 yuan per car.
The car drove into the endless salt fields, and saw several salt ponds neatly arranged. In the clear sky, the water and sky were one color, which was spectacular! A circle of silvery-white salt crystals appeared by the water, like a beautiful necklace on the pond. Tourists lingered on the shore and took photos with the beautiful scenery in front of them.
There are white salt crystals on both sides of the lake, and the lake water is transparent and green. On sunny days, the surrounding scenery, sky and white clouds are reflected in the lake, and at night, the lights are reflected, which is a great place for photography.
Looking around, the surface of the entire salt lake is salt crystals. If you don't look closely, it can easily be mistaken for newly cultivated land. No wonder people who come here for the first time can't recognize it. It is so large, the view is wide, the salt flowers are beautiful, and the color changes of the salt lake are very layered.
On the second day, we waited for the sunrise at the Qarhan Salt Lake again. Although the weather was very cold, the morning glow and the rising sun were very shocking. We all felt that it was more beautiful than the Chaka Salt Lake.
In the distance, the sun began to slowly jump out of the horizon, peaceful and brilliant. Such a beautiful scenery made us not afraid of the cold and continued to fight. It was hard but happy! I accidentally stepped into the salt water by the lake, and soon my shoes and trouser legs were covered with a layer of white. One foot was actually "pickled"... Haha!
The salt lake is located in the Gobi Desert, surrounded by flat land and uninhabited. When we went there the day before, there were only a dozen people in the huge salt lake. In the evening and the next morning, there were only four of us in the car. The blue sky and white clouds, the vast lake is like a huge mirror, with shimmering waves and boundless, coupled with the crystal clear salt beach by the lake, it feels like a vast blue sea. There are no crowds here, no scrambling for camera positions, and it’s so cool to take pictures! !
Everyone is talking about the blue sky and white clouds of the salt lake. I am posting a picture of the salt lake in the wind and rain...
The golden straw and deep blue water of the Qarhan Salt Lake contrast with each other.
The Chaerhan Salt Lake is actually a factory. Sometimes they won’t let you in because of safety risks. It’s not a scenic spot.
I didn't expect that this salt lake is owned by a state-owned enterprise. But it's so shocking! You need a local to lead the way in and out! Interesting, the ticket price can be offset by the guide fee! Whether the weather is good or bad, you can feel the beauty of the salt lake!
Chaerhan Salt Lake opening hours: 9:00-17:00 No tickets 5 stars recommended
The Qinghai Salt Lake Group, where the Chaerhan Salt Lake is hidden, is Asia's largest natural salt lake, formed during the geological movement of the Himalayas 200 million years ago. "Chaerhan" means salt lake in Mongolian. It is said that the salt reserves here are enough for the world's people to consume for 1,000 years.
We caught the sunrise and were shocked. In terms of beauty index, Chaka Salt Lake is not on the same level.
There is a Salt Lake Museum inside. It was Sunday, so the opening hours were delayed. The museum is OK, a place to learn knowledge, and it can be seen that the factory has sufficient funds to run it.
