We climbed up the stairs from the mountainside to the top of the mountain. In fact, the distance was not far, and the mountain road was not difficult to walk. The stairs were very stable and solid. However, we two poor athletes basically walked the whole way with a breath after every three steps. I took the second bus up the mountain in the morning. I had to climb the long wooden plank road slowly. Fortunately, the scenery was good and I could stop and go. The morning light was projected from the north side of the hillside, which made the hillside look three-dimensional. I walked along the hillside and took pictures all the way. It was so beautiful. Unfortunately, I didn't bring a drone, so I could only measure it with my legs. I was reluctant to go down the mountain. I found out that there were two lines, A and B, when I took the bus. It turned out that I took the B line.
After leaving the scenic area, we flew the drone and took the old driver and Xiao Diu around Zhuoer Mountain to another gate to take a look. The red soil mountain behind the mountain is also very bright.
Zhuoer Mountain is located in Qilian County. It is a small mountain in the Qilian Mountains. It belongs to the Danxia landform, but it is different from the Danxia landform in Zhangye. There are many vegetation covering it, so the colors are more vivid. In addition, there are snow-capped mountains around it as a background. The scenery here is unique. The ticket for Zhuoer Mountain seems to be 30 yuan per person. If you want to take a car to go up, you have to pay 10 yuan more. I personally think it is not necessary to take a car, because the scenery on the top of the mountain is not as beautiful as the scenery along the way. It will be more interesting to enjoy it while walking. It only takes about a quarter of an hour to take a shortcut on foot.
Although it is early October, the wooden plank road is already covered with a thin layer of white frost in the morning, which adds a little difficulty to the originally gentle hiking trail. Climbing up the steps, you can walk without looking at the scenery, and look at the scenery without walking. There are viewing platforms along the way for tourists to appreciate the scenery of Zhuoer Mountain. Today is a cloudy day. The sky, clouds and mountains have merged into one. The snow on the top of the mountain never melts all year round. The Babao River at the foot of the mountain surrounds the town of Qilian like a Hada. Therefore, people say that Zhuoer Mountain and Niuxin Mountain are a pair of affectionate lovers, silently guarding on both sides of the Babao River and jointly protecting the mountains and rivers of Qilian.

Although the scenery of Qilian was not your most beautiful moment, it had already made me so intoxicated and lingered. However, for Qilian, I was always just a passing visitor. After a glimpse, I reluctantly left this mirror of the sky.

First take a sightseeing bus for more than ten minutes to reach the entrance, then hike all the way to the top of the mountain and return the same way. The 3-hour trip to Zhuoer Mountain left me with a very deep impression, not only the scenery like an oil painting, but also the changeable weather.
Zhuoer Mountain was not originally on my itinerary, but because I went to the Colorful Danxia the day before, I had half a day more today, and since it was on the same side as the Qilian Mountain grassland I was going to, I decided to stop by and take a look. A little further ahead from where the shuttle bus gets off is another entrance to Zhuoer Mountain, where there are also shuttle buses to the scenic area. If you are not in a hurry, you can climb a hill that is almost as high as the scenic area. The view here is excellent because the sharp and soft curve of Zhuoer Mountain is just opposite this hill, very close. The green mountains have almost no vegetation on the hillside, revealing the ochre-red mountain body. The iron-red land plus the perfect curve make it almost impossible for me to find the right words to describe it. Looking down at the mountain, the villages there seem to be matchbox-like building blocks, and the villages are still connected to the golden rapeseed flowers.

There are student tickets for Zhuoer Mountain. In addition to the tickets, you have to buy a ticket separately to take a bus to the entrance of the scenic area. The ticket is 20, so overall it is not recommended.
This place is very beautiful, but I think the colorful Danxia in Zhangye is more beautiful. I regret spending too much time here, so when you play here, try to go faster and leave more time for the colorful Danxia!

There is only one thing that I am not satisfied with. A local staff member at the store in the center of the scenic area is very fierce. He held a loudspeaker and shouted at tourists who trampled on the lawn. Trampling is wrong, but it affects the mood of people around. It feels like being scolded. The voice is really rude and fierce. You can vaguely hear the shouting and scolding from the loudspeaker until you walk along the plank road to the tower. Therefore, one star is deducted... By the way, the ice cream is not bad, and the park is clean and tidy.
Zhuoer Mountain is a must-see for many tourists who come to Qilian. There are relatively few scenic spots in Zhuoer Mountain. There is a branch of the Western Xia Kingdom on the mountain, as well as a pagoda. The plank roads extend in all directions. If you have time, it must be a wonderful thing to walk in the mountains.

The school, hospital and government buildings are all built in the same style. After passing through the county town and driving a distance, you will reach Zhuoer Mountain. Zhuoer Mountain is a branch of the Qilian Mountains, with an altitude of 4,300m. It belongs to the Danxia landform. The ticket price is 60 yuan + 20 yuan/person for the minibus, which is the shuttle bus to the mountain. The student ID is not strict, and the tour guide ID is free to enter. If you buy a full ticket, I personally think it is a bit expensive. Although this attraction is magnificent, it has no fun and artistry, and it is not as special as Zhangye Colorful Danxia. I think it is basically reasonable to book a shuttle bus at 40 yuan/person. If the ticket price is lower, it is also highly recommended. If the weather is bad on the day, you can not go up. Although it is beautiful, it is not unique. If you go up the mountain, pay attention to sun protection, and there is a strong wind on the mountain, wear thick clothes!
I was hesitant before going to Zhuoer Mountain. I felt that although I had heard of it, it was not very famous and might not be good. At about 4 pm, we started buying tickets to go up the mountain. The ticket price was 80 yuan (including a 20 yuan sightseeing bus ticket). It was sunny when we bought the tickets. It started to rain heavily as soon as we entered the scenic area. Everyone was crowded in the pavilion to avoid the rain. It is recommended that you remember to bring an umbrella or raincoat when going up the mountain, and wear thicker clothes. The weather on the mountain is changeable, so we were cold as hell in our skirts. Seeing that the rain was a little lighter, we continued to climb the stairs up. Who knew that there was actually an indoor rest area after crossing the beacon tower, which was much better than standing in the pavilion and blowing the cold wind just now. After walking through the rest area, you will see the prayer flags. You can see the snow-capped mountains opposite the prayer flags. Although the weather is not good, the pictures taken are all very cloudy, but I was lucky enough to encounter a rainbow after the rain. You can choose to go down the mountain by the original route, or you can go down the mountain by mountain road. Compared with taking the stairs, it feels faster to go down the mountain by mountain road. After going down the mountain, you have to take the bus to do the route you came when you came. If you forget, you can look at the back of the ticket. It is still recommended that if you are not in a hurry and find that the weather is bad on the first day, you can enter the scenic area on the second morning. It only takes about 2 hours to visit. It is really cold on the mountain when it rains. The uncle walking behind me said with emotion: Let him be cold, I will just have a runny nose!
Although Zhuoer Mountain is also a Danxia landform, composed of red sandstone and conglomerate, unlike Zhangye Danxia, the sandstone here is covered with rich vegetation, and the landscape is significantly different throughout the year. I climbed to the top of Zhuoer Mountain and overlooked the Danxia landform. The snow-capped mountains were within reach. The red sandstone and conglomerate reminded me of Zhangye's colorful Danxia, but I couldn't go there on this trip. The good weather also showed the beauty of the scenery. I looked out over the entire Qilian Mountains and took in the beautiful rivers and mountains. I am glad that I can set foot on this pure land and witness its endless scenery in my lifetime.

If you like photography, choose sunrise and sunset.
