The Big Wild Goose Pagoda scenic area is very large, consisting of two squares in the north and south and a Da Ci'en Temple. Because we went there late, we did not enter the temple, let alone climb the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. According to everyone's travel notes, you don't actually need to climb the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to see it, and the musical fountain of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is the most worth seeing.

The guide says that the evening music fountain show is at 8:30. To be on the safe side, I asked the staff of the scenic spot and they said it was changed to 9 pm. The time of the music fountain will be adjusted around May 1st and October 1st every year. This is also adjusted according to the sunset time, so everyone must pay attention to avoid missing it, especially friends who like taking pictures, must inquire about the time in advance, stand early, and have a good shooting angle. In order to see the light music fountain at night, I came to the North Square half an hour in advance. There were already a lot of people. I found a gap and didn't move again, waiting for the show to start. The 20-minute music fountain, with the Big Wild Goose Pagoda as the background, is beautiful and spectacular. As for the feeling, you still have to experience it yourself~

When I got out of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda subway station and went up to the ground, I was immediately surrounded by people. Fortunately, that night (I forgot that tonight was Valentine's Day) Xi'an had deployed almost all the police forces, right? Traffic police and security guards were stationed every three steps and every five steps to maintain order, just like the police deployment in front of the Jinbiji Pavilion in Kunming on Christmas Eve one year.

The number of people entering the North and South Squares of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda had already been restricted. Tourists who had already entered could not wander around randomly, but had to walk in a general direction, that is, clockwise, and were not allowed to walk against the flow of people.

I entered from a side door between the north and south squares of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. I don't know if it was because it was Valentine's Day or it was still the Spring Festival, but the lights in this large area were dazzling and gorgeous.

Walk 500 meters east from the Shaanxi Museum and you will see the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square. It just happened to be the opening of the musical fountain at 12:00 noon. It is said to be the largest musical fountain in Asia. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda has 7 floors, which means it is better than a seven-story pagoda...

Walking in the square, someone introduced that it was only 10 yuan for two people to visit the light rail (the light rail costs 80 yuan per person). Although I thought there might be shopping spots, I really couldn't walk anymore. I walked to some unimportant spots, introduced some things we didn't know, stopped to take pictures for us, and took pictures for us. When we went to the shopping spots, the master was embarrassed and said that you just need to go in and visit. It doesn't matter if you don't buy. When he heard that we were going to see the cherry blossoms, he said that the cherry blossom trees moved from Japan are in Qinglong Temple, and sent us to Qinglong Temple. I know they must have their own interests, but it's harmless to us. The taxi ride is more than this price. The Zhenguan Reign, Wang Baochuan's hard work in the cold kiln, Wu Zetian's small wild goose pagoda for Princess Taiping, the imperial garden of the year, Yang Guifei's seven jade horses, and the pink hibiscus jade named after Yang Guifei's boudoir...

The first floor of the Zhenguanzhizhi Square is the Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin, the second floor is his right-hand man, and the third floor is the musicians. There are four pillars on each side, a total of eight on both sides, indicating that his rule was stable.

We walked slowly from the South Square, passed the Da Ci'en Temple Ruins Park and arrived at the North Square. We were afraid that there would be too many people at night, so we chose the 6 o'clock show! It was very spectacular and beautiful. I believe the 8:30 pm show must be even more beautiful! Because there were so many people, we reserved a seat on the side at 5:30, which was not so convenient with children. If we were in the front, we could see the whole fountain, and I believe it would be more shocking! Give yourself a reason to go again!

As a landmark building in Xi'an, Big Wild Goose Pagoda has become a must-visit spot for many tourists. There is a musical fountain in the North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is very famous and large in scale. The musical fountain was not turned on when I went there, but the lights on the Big Wild Goose Pagoda were still golden at night, giving a sense of Buddha's light shining everywhere. The North Square is relatively prosperous, surrounded by snack streets and restaurants. It is a landmark building in Xi'an, and it is also a great place to visit.

The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is towering into the sky. It has seven floors and a total height of more than 60 meters. The width of the base is about 25 meters, presenting a unique aesthetic effect. It is one of the most iconic buildings in the city of Xi'an. In the Tang Dynasty, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda became a holy place for people to climb the tower and pray for their relatives during the Double Ninth Festival because of its majestic appearance and the convenience of climbing and looking far away. Not only that, "writing names on the Wild Goose Pagoda" has become a unique custom. Talented scholars who passed the imperial examinations would climb the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and carve their names on the wall of the tower to commemorate their glorious moments.

The Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a landmark building in Xi'an, is located in the Da Ci'en Temple in Jinchangfang, Chang'an City of the Tang Dynasty (now south of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province). It is a brick tower built by Master Xuanzang to enshrine the Buddha statues, relics and Sanskrit scriptures brought back from India. In 1961, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda was announced by the State Council of the People's Republic of China as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is located in the Da Ci'en Temple, also known as the "Ci'en Temple Pagoda". It was built by Master Xuanzang to preserve the Buddhist scriptures and statues brought back to Chang'an from India via the Silk Road. You need to buy a ticket to enter the Da Ci'en Temple, but the North and South Squares of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the nearby Tang Dynasty City are open to the public free of charge. The outdoor square on the fourth floor of Xi'an Qujiang Joy City next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda allows you to enjoy the night view of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and the red wall outside the Heytea store is a popular check-in spot.

In order to check out Asia’s largest musical fountain, we arrived at the Dayan Pagoda North Square in the evening.

We arrived early and took the opportunity to enjoy the night view of Xi'an, which was really beautiful.

The fountain is divided into three areas: a 100-meter waterfall pool, an eight-level plunge pool and a front-end music pool. It can be divided into three areas for independent performances or as a whole performance.

There are two performances every day from Monday to Friday at 12:00 noon and 8:00 pm.

There will be five performances on Saturdays, Sundays and other statutory holidays at 12:00 noon, 2:00, 4:00, 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.

Among them, the fountain equipment underwent routine maintenance on Tuesday and was shut down during the day.

Be sure to reserve a seat 10-20 minutes in advance, as the place will be packed with people 10 minutes before the start.

By Hoarding 🌈 |

It is right outside the Dayan Pagoda subway station. If you want to see the musical fountain, it is recommended to go there half an hour in advance and find a better seat. If you go late, you can only watch it on the third floor outside where there are crowds of people. The fountain lasts for 20 minutes at a time. You can ask the security brother on site for the specific time.

The Big Wild Goose Pagoda Music Fountain starts at 9 o'clock in the evening. Be sure to take a favorable position early, let the children and mothers go to the fast food restaurants with air conditioning nearby to rest, and the young and strong people line up in the crowded and stuffy queues to fight mosquitoes because there are many small mosquitoes near the water, so bring mosquito repellent and spray more

When we saw the kids were amazed by the beautiful hot springs and were so excited and happy~ Our sweat was not in vain. We spent 20 minutes in the fountain. It was suggested to leave early when it was almost over, because it would be terrible if a large number of people dispersed at the same time. We left early and took the time to take a taxi back to the hotel to avoid traffic jams and congestion after the show~

Can the information on China-TravelNote be more accurate? I came all the way here, only to find out that the music fountain has not been open for the past month. Also, Da Ci'en Temple and Big Wild Goose Pagoda are closed after 5:30. China-TravelNote said 6:30. I was misled.

However, the night view of the Tang Dynasty City that never sleeps opposite the South Square is really beautiful, with colorful lights and magnificent momentum, a scene of the heyday of the Tang Dynasty. There are many bands performing on the whole street, as well as various special snacks. It is recommended to go to Yintai Department Store. There are many restaurants. My friend and I went to Yuanjia Village's Guanzhong Food Court. There are many kinds of snacks and I wanted to try them all. However, my stomach capacity is limited, so I only ate stewed vegetables, buckwheat noodles, fried cakes, and beef patties. The fried cakes are sweet, soft, sticky and crispy. Be careful not to burn the filling when eating. The beef patties are also crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the filling is especially fragrant.

At night, you can go to the North Square of Dayan Pagoda to see Asia's largest fountain square and waterscape square, where people are crowded every day. If you want to take pictures, please stand at the front stone railing. You can use the "night view" mode in your mobile phone. It is best to bring a mobile phone tripod as a support to prevent the shaking of the mobile phone when taking pictures, which will cause serious blur. If necessary, you can take a video as a souvenir.

Friends who have been here said that it is best to come to the North Square to see Asia's largest musical fountain when you have time. So after we finished visiting the city wall, we took a taxi here. The taxi driver said that we didn't know if there would be a fountain show today. We were unsure. Because we didn't know the time of the fountain show in advance, we came here rashly. After getting off the car, we found that there were many people in the square. We just stood in front of the fountain and the fountain show started, exactly at 8:30. Oh, this really touched us. As the music became heavier and heavier, the fountain changed different shapes and the lights changed accordingly. The water jet sprayed into the air and fell heavily, and the sound was very shocking. Many people walked into the fountain to experience the beauty of the fountain up close. After 20 minutes, the fountain show ended. I didn't want to leave yet, and everyone didn't want to leave either, and they were still not satisfied.

At this time, the area near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda was under repair and construction, so it was a bit chaotic. Of course, the fountain was definitely closed. My friend and I didn't seem to have a connection with the fountain. I didn't expect there to be so many food next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which could be said to be a whole row. We sat outside the wall and admired other tourists of all kinds. Then we came to the main gate, but didn't enter. We just continued to admire the tourists in the square in front of the gate, reviewed the baby cassock and the black bear monster, took a few photos from a distance, and completed the check-in. I continued to walk back to the subway entrance from the other side. I heard that walking around the tower would bring good luck, so my friend and I walked around happily, and I hope everyone will have good luck. I believe that everyone will catch the fountain when they go there in the summer. Judging from the layout of the fountain in the square, it will definitely be very beautiful.

But when I got to the North Square, I saw a notice saying that the fountain system was being upgraded and would be suspended for 5 days... What a bolt from the blue!

The entire square is centered around the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, with the main waterway in the center, where Asia's largest musical fountain performance takes place every night. To the east of the square is the Shaanxi local opera Grand View Garden, and to the west is the Folk Customs Grand View Garden.

There is the highest musical fountain in Asia in the North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which has several performances during the day and night. There is one at 6pm and 9pm, and I watched the one at 9pm. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is really beautiful with the lights. The beams of light shining behind the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, combined with the historical background of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, feel like the Buddha's light shining everywhere.

Let's talk about the musical fountain. It was average and a bit disappointing. Except for the fountain that can spray up to 20 meters high, which is very impressive, there are no other special features. The combination of music and fountain can be designed a little bit, the rhythm is a bit discordant, and there are too few patterns. After watching it for 20 minutes, it was a bit monotonous.

You can go there according to the fountain schedule. The fountain show during the day was okay, but it is said to be more beautiful at night.

I went there in the afternoon, which was quite convenient. It was only 25 minutes' ride south from Xi'an Station. The scenery was nice, but there were a lot of people. I heard from local classmates that some locals would go there to play at night, so there were a lot of people. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda was built in the Tang Dynasty. It has a total of 7 floors. It feels like it is still preserved in its original state. I didn't go up the tower because I was in a hurry. There is a beautiful musical fountain in the North Square.

In order to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, the musical fountain in the north square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda is being re-arranged. I was not lucky enough to enjoy it during this trip to Xi'an. Maybe next time

It's ok, there are a lot of people. The fountain is ok. It's just an ordinary square, you can see the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

I heard someone playing "Daughter's Love" at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It was very nice. It turned out to be played with a clay flute. There was no fountain because it was Tuesday when I went there. The fountain is closed every Tuesday.

I bought some delicious Yang Guifei pastry, which is perfect for watching the night view.

In fact, the surroundings are too commercialized. If I were to sit nearby and listen to the crisp sound of wind chimes swaying in the wind, it would probably create a different mood.

The night is really beautiful and more suitable for taking pictures

The North Square is the musical fountain, and the South Square is the entrance to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the statue of Xuanzang. It is quite a distance from the North Square to the South Square.

There is a large fountain square here, but since it was not night and there was no fountain show, there was actually nothing particularly good to see.

When I went to Xi'an, I stayed near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda for 4 nights, so I experienced the scenery of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda square in the morning, noon, evening, and night. The whole square is large and clean, and it also has a cultural atmosphere. Many people do morning exercises here in the morning, and stroll around the square with their children in the evening. The scenery is best at night, and there is also a magnificent musical fountain to watch. Five-star praise!

You can also take photos of the red walls you pass by, so don’t miss it if you pass by.
