There are too few attractions and the viewing experience is not good enough. It is said that they are now working on the Qianguqing project. I don't know what will happen in the future.

Located in Guangyuntan, Chanba Ecological Zone, Xi'an, about 10 kilometers from the center of Xi'an, it is the site of the 2011 Xi'an World Horticultural Exposition. The scenic spot is free of charge.

It's quite big. If you don't go into Chang'an Tower and other attractions, it's completely free. There is a children's playground in the south. It takes half a day to go around and see the flowers.

I didn't have much interest in the Expo Park after reading the reviews on cellular, but I went there unintentionally and walked around. The weather was good and the phone was beautiful. There are many fast food restaurants in the scenic area, the prices are not expensive, the taste is average, there are also many sightseeing buses, and the transportation is relatively convenient. The subway is very close, and there is a place under repair. If it is repaired, I am still looking forward to the effect. After all, the Xi'an World Expo Park was in 2011, and it has been six or seven years since 2017, so the requirements cannot be too harsh

By Tom Cruise |

It has now become a park for Xi'an people. The scenery is quite nice. Because of its geographical location in the north, there are few people, making it a good place for travel and leisure.

By Old saying |

When I went to Xi'an in 2011, it happened to be the Xi'an World Horticultural Exposition. I thought the Expo Park was well built, with beautiful lakes and mountains and flowers everywhere.

By It's March. |

The scenery is very beautiful, with various foreign landscape buildings. A very beautiful place

By A child at heart |

It is quite big and pretty good, suitable for a family outing. No tickets are required. There are four paid venues inside, and annual tickets are free to visit.

By Xlsong |

The entrance to the Expo Park is free, and the park is large, but lacks maintenance and looks shabby. There are several pavilions that require admission. The Tibetan Buddhist cultural relics exhibition on top of the Chang'an Tower is pretty good, and the ticket price seems to be 30 yuan.

My impression of the World Expo Park is not very deep. I went there in 2012 when I just entered college. It was early September and it was very hot. We wore military training clothes and the school took us there. It was really big and we walked around for most of the day. The first time I saw the musical fountain was in the World Expo Park. There were also people taking wedding photos there. I haven't been there for a few years now. I believe it will get better and better as it develops.

It's bleak now that the World Expo is over... You can take a stroll, but it's not interesting to treat it as a tourist attraction...

Xi'an World Expo Park is located in Chanba Ecological Zone, 10 kilometers away from the city center. Chang'an Tower is the landmark building of the World Expo Park, which houses the Treasure Museum, the Natural History Museum, etc. There are also entertainment projects for children, the park is well greened, and it is a good place for leisure and entertainment.

By purple0109 |

The park is very big, but it feels outdated and not well maintained. Everything is old. However, there were many newlyweds taking wedding photos there. We walked around for more than two hours under the scorching sun and then ended the trip hastily.

By Reminiscing the past |

Now that the park is neglected, it is a little run-down, but it is also beautiful to a certain extent. Without the manipulation of capital, it is more natural and quiet, and has become a good place for nearby residents to relax. Ticket purchase: No tickets are required to enter the Expo Park. The theme pavilions and entertainment facilities in the park require a certain fee.

There is a tower called Chang'an, with beautiful gardening and beautiful scenery.

By Momo five |

After the Expo, this place has become a good place for Xi'an people to relax and unwind, and it is also a place where many wedding photo studios are located.

Located in Chanba, the transportation is quite convenient when driving here. The place is large and suitable for running and fitness.

Many of the Expo's attractions are still preserved, but the four major exhibition halls have been renovated and require tickets to enter.

The park is well greened and has a high vegetation coverage rate. However, if you go around at night, the lighting in the park is not very good. In addition, the signs in the park are not very clear. If you are not familiar with the route, it is easy to get lost. There is no staff to guide you, so there is room for improvement.

Xi'an World Expo Park is located in Guangyuntan, Chanba Ecological Zone, Xi'an. It is the only national 4A-level tourist attraction in our province that is open to the public for free. The total area is 418 hectares, of which the water area is 188 hectares. The main buildings are Guangyun Gate, Chang'an Tower, Treasure Museum, Nature Museum, Children's Cute Pet Museum; the theme horticultural attractions are Chang'an Flower Valley; the three special service areas are Bashang People, Coconut Wind Waterfront and European Style. The park has a 2-kilometer tour road, planted with more than 250 kinds of trees, shrubs, flowers and aquatic plants covering an area of about 200,000 square meters, and laid with lawns of about 200,000 square meters. There are 102 exhibition gardens in the park. In addition to horticultural landscapes, various exhibition gardens have also developed theme projects such as the Western Wedding Industry Base, Cultural and Art Exhibition Area, Horticultural Flower Exhibition and Leisure and Entertainment Experience to enhance the participation and appreciation of tourists.

The Expo is now a free park. There are many bicycle rentals. There is no direct subway yet, only buses, but there are also many buses.

By Zang Rui loves playing with Arale |

Except for Chang'an Tower and three or four indoor pavilions, which require tickets, the park is free to enter. I went there several times, and the places that charge fees are actually not worth seeing, especially Chang'an Tower, which can only be seen from a distance but not up close. There is nothing there. However, the natural scenery inside is good and worth visiting. If you visit it carefully, you can visit it for several hours.

You can take buses 47, 233, 262, 301, etc. from downtown Xi'an, but if you don't start from the eastern suburbs, it will probably take a long time.

PS: There is a strawberry farm nearby, you can stop by to try it if the season is right.

I went to Xi'an in the summer of 2011. Since I don't like climbing mountains, I gave up going to Huashan and came to the Xi'an World Horticultural Exposition. I don't know if it was because the weather was too hot or the flowers and plants were not acclimatized, some flowers 🌼 didn't grow so lush and withered, and the gardeners planted new flowers 🌼. The Chang'an Tower, the symbol of the Xi'an World Horticultural Exposition, is pretty good. It is also the observation tower of the park. It is said that there are colorful terracotta warriors inside. I wanted to go there, but because the queue took more than 3 hours, I gave up.

This county Expo Park was built and opened in 2011. Now many of the pavilions have been rebuilt. The transportation here is very convenient. There are many bus routes, such as 262, 47, 530, and 932, but the arrival gates may be different. Most of the attractions in the Xi'an Expo Park are open to tourists for free. However, Chang'an Tower, Creative Pavilion, Natural Pavilion, Four Treasures Pavilion, etc. (one tower and three pavilions) are ticketed for visiting. The pavilion tickets are divided into two types: pass (60 yuan) and single pavilion ticket (30 yuan). In addition, since the Expo Park is very large, it may take about a day to visit, so friends with less physical strength can choose to take a battery car. There are more than a dozen stops and you can get on the bus at any time. There is a Chang'an Tower in the Expo Park, which is very distinctive. The lights of the Chang'an Tower under the night are lit up, which looks particularly beautiful. If you go up to the Chang'an Tower, you can take the elevator to the 11th floor, but if you go downstairs, there is no elevator, and you need to walk downstairs by yourself.

By Quiet Night Awakens to Love |

It was so popular that when we arrived at the Expo site, we were shocked by the huge crowds of people. People were crowded together... We didn't even queue up for several theme pavilions because it seemed hopeless. We only visited some small pavilions and admired the flowers.

By Lemongrass flavor |

This place embodies the essence of horticultural gardens in China and even around the world. After the Expo, many exotic buildings were rented by some photo studios, and the garden was full of couples taking wedding photos. In short, it is worth a visit.

By Wang Dadonglove |

The site of the 2011 Xi'an World Horticultural Exposition is not as beautiful as it was back then, but now it is a very good horticultural site in Xi'an that combines exhibitions, tourism, and wedding photography. You can rent a bicycle and ride around there. It is a very relaxing place without the feeling of chasing, daring, and rushing as in other tourist destinations.

By Maple |

The garden is very large. It will take at least two days to visit it. I wonder if there are still many flowers after the Expo.

By The hustle and bustle of the road |

I didn't actually spend any money when I visited the World Horticultural Exposition. I found a part-time job there, which allowed me to earn money and visit the park at the same time. It's really big. I stayed there for more than 20 days and went to every place. I felt it was pretty good. The park should still be there now, and it seems to be free, but many exhibition gardens have been demolished. It was here that I earned my first pot of gold in my life.

By The tail grows towards the sun |

After a round of walking, I found it boring. It felt like a trade fair for Chinese people. Apart from the people selling things, the rest of the people were just watching the things being sold.

By 0923jane |

There is no entrance fee. Many local residents come here to hang out after dinner. There is also a small wedding dress street. On the day I went there, many newlyweds were taking wedding photos.

By carzn |

There are 3 large pavilions (Natural Ecology Pavilion, Creative Pavilion, Chang'an Tower). The place is really big, and it is a bit difficult to visit it all in one day, but you can rent bicycles in the park, and the greenery in the park is so good, so in the weather in May, it feels like spring.

By Sy_si |

After arriving at the Expo Park, I was the only tourist in the park. The scenery was not very good, and the season was not good.

By Diudiu |

There are many elements in the Expo Park, including beautiful buildings, cultural integration of various characteristics, colorful roses, black swans... When I left, I suddenly saw a rainbow formed by the artificial fountain, and below it was a cute stone angel.

By trellsa |

To be honest, there is nothing to see in the World Horticultural Exposition in Xi'an. It is much more beautiful at night with bright lights. It is too big to visit in one day. As soon as I entered the door, I saw a long queue for the Creative Pavilion. I heard that it takes 4 hours to queue during the day. I was advised to follow our example and queue after 6:30 in the evening. We got in after half an hour, but I felt that the Creative Pavilion was not shocking enough. I didn't go into the Chang'an Tower either. There was not enough time. I arrived at 11 am and wandered until 6 pm. I just had a quick look. But the funhouse mirror was quite interesting. I stayed there for nearly an hour. The sand sculptures were quite nice. The 5 yuan colored paper hats there were quite beautiful. Haha, I bought one too. This is a brief introduction to the World Horticultural Exposition.

By Autumn Sea Tour |

The ticket cost 100 yuan. There were a lot of people inside and it took more than an hour to queue for one of the halls, so I couldn't see much and could only take some photos of the exterior.

The Expo is a new attraction in Xi'an. It is now open to the public for free. It is a good place to hang out on weekends.

By Let's go |

Well, how should I describe this place? It's a big park, but the natural scenery is still good. It would be better if the supporting facilities were more complete.

By Roaming Dog |

When I went there, there were many people and few trees, but the scenery was okay and worth seeing. . . . . . . . . . .

By Uncle Huanzai |

When we went there, we still had to pay for tickets, which cost 120 yuan. It was a hot day and there were many tourists. There was no shade in the park, which was very unpleasant.

By Scattered consciousness |

At present, there are still very few buses from Xi'an to the Expo, only 262 and 530. Among them, 530 is very difficult to wait. It is said that it takes more than an hour to wait! At present, the greening of the Expo is not fully in place, and workers are actively planting green. Greening requires using disposable chopsticks to fix the plastic film, which seems to be contrary to the concept of low-carbon green. Some projects such as the Creative Park have not been completed. Recently, I often read in the news that the crested ibis, giant pandas, etc. have all settled in the Expo. After I went there, there were only buildings, haha, a little disappointed. Chang'an Tower is really eye-catching. It can be seen in every corner of the Expo. Some exhibition gardens or pavilions seem to be perfunctory and the quality is also average. Security, security, the security guards in front of the exhibition gardens in some cities see you coming and immediately say: No entry, but to be honest, just from the architecture, there are not many that make people eager to enter. Several favorite pavilions and gardens: Chengdu, Yunnan, Xiamen, Shanxi, Yangzhou, Thailand, Ancient Greek Garden, etc. For Xi'an, such a large garden is still very attractive! Friends who like photography should pay attention to the best panoramic shooting locations, Taiyi Xiantai and Bonsai Garden; if you want to show the wonderful figures of beauties, then the best portrait shooting location is European style. If you only look at the architecture,

By Shiyu |

Thanks to the opportunity provided by the "Glorious Xi'an" forum, I was able to visit the World Horticultural Exposition before it was held. Here are some photos. It is indeed inconvenient to visit the World Horticultural Exposition site now. You can only take bus 262 to get there. However, it is said that the situation will be much better in April, and some new bus routes will be opened. The most difficult thing to experience when visiting the World Horticultural Exposition now is gardening. Most of the land is exposed, and there is a gust of wind and sand from time to time. The whole park lacks the beauty that gardening should bring. Perhaps it will be much better after the official opening. It takes about four hours to walk around the park, if you don't consider the crowds after the opening. If you look carefully, it will take more time. Although the opening is imminent, many things can still be accomplished within a month. I only hope that I can feel more gardening after the official opening.
