A new shopping and food street, developed to develop Xi'an's tourism industry, mainly for a large number of tour groups, and even more crowded during holidays, but there are still many good foods inside. I strongly recommend Chenggu hot noodles, which are smooth and chewy, and paired with a unique sauce and chili, which makes you drool! Things like Xunyang Shuibaodu, Lantian Hele, and Jingyang Shizimo are all worth trying. I personally think that Roujiamo and Yangroupaomo should be eaten in Huiminfang, which are more delicious! I learned about "smashing bowls of wine" on the Internet. It is really popular. You must experience it. There is a long queue, and it is more satisfying to smash it hard after drinking. The entire Yongxingfang area is not very large, and there is really nothing worth savoring. Throwing out the time to queue up to buy things, the rest is just eating.

Yongxingfang is a place with a variety of food, which is equivalent to a commercial food court. You can come here to eat while strolling in the evening. It is also antique. It turns out that the Internet celebrity's bowl-breaking wine is also here. It costs five yuan for a small cup. Don't worry about no one taking a short video of you when you break it. There are staff members next to you shouting and filming.

Yongxingfang is a man-made snack street in the ancient city, but the guide says that Xi'an locals prefer the food here, so how could I miss it...

Although I don't like artificial landscapes, I like to eat! Yongxingfang has a lot of food, almost all of which are food. The hot wash bowl wine is also available here. There are vacuum-packed gourd chickens and Shaanxi's unique spicy oil, but I'll talk about the food later~!

There are Qinqiang performances in Yongxingfang every day. It depends on your luck. I really don’t know the time and I don’t know if it is played on a loop. We saw it by chance.

The return bus passed by Xiaodongmen, and Yongxingfang is near this Xiaodongmen. I heard before coming here that in addition to Huimin Street, Yongxingfang is also a place where food is concentrated, so you can go for a visit. Yongxingfang under the night sky, with colorful lights hanging high, is decorated with lights and colorful decorations, and the night view is also very good. The snacks concentrate on various characteristics of the Sanqin land, and the taste is also good. I even think that the Roujiamo here is the best I have eaten in Xi'an, and there is also Hulutou Pao Mo. And it implements card payment, which is also relatively clean. You can apply for a temporary card at the door, and it is convenient to return it after shopping. It is recommended to visit.

Yonganfang. As an internet celebrity, you have to give her some face and at least give it a try.

After entering Yongxingfang, I have to say that this place has a courtyard design, the colors are festive, and there are quite a few people, but I still feel a little lackluster.

Zichang pancakes, I didn't dare to ask for more. 8 yuan potato shredded stuffing, I was too hungry, I couldn't help it, I remembered to take pictures, but it was really delicious, worth a try. Hot rice skin, you need to wait for half a day, it's not bad, it's freshly steamed, the skin is thick and soft, and it's easy to eat. Imperial noodles, edible, but not amazing. The biggest selling point of the soup noodles is the large bowl and the noodles are soft enough...

Yong'anfang gives me the feeling that you can come here if you only have one day. It is more representative of Shaanxi cuisine than the Muslim Street area. Note that it is Shaanxi, not Xi'an. At least the iconic cuisines of the east of Xi'an, Xifu, Hanzhong, and northern Shaanxi are basically available here. If you come to Xi'an for a food tour, then you don't need to come here. The taste and atmosphere are always a little worse.

It is said that the beef crispy cakes are everywhere on the street. It is really delicious! When we arrived, it was just fried. When we took a bite, there was a crackling sound, and a mouthful of crumbs fell out. It was so hot that I exhaled white air, and then licked the crumbs and salt around my mouth. It was so satisfying early in the morning.

To be honest, bacon cakes are not very delicious, and most importantly, they make your stomach full! It's hard to eat anything else after eating them. So! When you go out to eat, you must be careful when choosing staple food.

I saw the potato rice cakes that I had seen in documentaries before, so I ran over with my eyes shining. I ordered a classic spicy dish, which was also average. It felt a little less salty and a little cold, but it was freshly made outdoors, so I understood. While I was waiting, I saw someone take a look and said, "It's just mashed potatoes, but it's mashed potatoes in lumps!"

I have to say, this is really a good place, with good food and beautiful scenery. In addition to food, there are also some streets selling small things. Yongxingfang is not big, but there are treasures everywhere.

We went to a place that was made popular by TikTok at night. There were big red lanterns everywhere, crowds of people, and all the food. I was very excited at the time, so we started eating!

1. The mirror cake is pretty good. Those who like sweets can try it.

2. The membrane for sandwiching eggs and vegetables is also okay. After being used to eating roujiamo, it’s a good idea to change the taste.

3. The gourd chicken is also OK, 40+ per piece, cheaper than the Chang'an food stalls.

4. The bowl-smashing wine scene is really boring. The wine is super bad, the queue is super long, and it costs five yuan a bowl. It's just for the sake of good intentions.

5. There is a small stage inside, where veteran artists perform and sing some tunes in the evening, but I can’t understand them.

6. Boiled pears are too sweet, but it is still very comfortable to drink a cup of hot boiled pears in the winter. After drinking the water, you can eat the pears. The pears are delicious.

In short, you must go to Yongxingfang with an empty stomach and wear comfortable shoes. There are many Internet celebrity shops and you have to wait in long lines. As for the taste, maybe I am a foodie in Chengdu and I am picky. I don’t think it’s amazing. It’s neither good nor bad. Just feel the atmosphere and check in.

There are a variety of snacks here. I tried a few of them, including the Kangkang steamed buns (3 yuan) at the entrance, pig's trotters (28 yuan), Qishan rolled noodles (7 yuan), Chang'an beef pie (6 yuan), Southern Shaanxi konjac (10 yuan, very spicy and a little sour, this is the only thing I am not used to in Yongxingfang), Jing'er cake (5 yuan), mulberry juice (10 yuan). It is recommended to order one of each and eat more. The overall taste is OK. As a snack street, the taste level is not bad.

In fact, it was already late when we arrived, but many small shops were not open yet, and Yongxingfang just woke up from its dream.

This archway is a bit similar to the one in Ciqikou, Chongqing (maybe all snack streets in the country look like this), but the characters are different.

Yongxingfang is also a food street like Huimin Street, but it is newer. Huimin Street focuses on halal and Hui food, while Yongxingfang brings together some local specialties, dishes and snacks from Guanzhong, southern Shaanxi and northern Shaanxi, represented by noodles, cold skin, roujiamo, Chengcheng water basin and lamb blood in noodle soup.

Yongxingfang, originally the site of Wei Zheng's residence in the Tang Dynasty, is located inside the Xiaodongmen of Dongxin Street. Rebuilt by the government in recent years, the square is mostly local specialty food, with everything you need, especially recommended. If you only look at food, I recommend you to go to Yongxinfang compared to Huimin Street. In addition to the more distinctive food, the environment is good, the layout is reasonable, and the flow of people will not be so large. Yongxingfang is one of the 108 squares in the Tang Dynasty and the former residence of Wei Zheng. Yongxingfang covers a total area of 15 acres and covers an area of 10,000 square meters. The block is divided into three blocks: Guanzhong (Guanzhong Lane), Southern Shaanxi (Southern Shaanxi Street), and Northern Shaanxi (Northern Shaanxi Li). More than 50 specialty food operators from all over the province have settled in, including provincial intangible cultural heritage food, Chinese time-honored food, classic snacks that are well-known from all over the country, and hand-made folk art performances, folk food processing workshop demonstrations and other projects. The block also launched special food packages of local famous snacks, Wei Zheng's family banquet, Guanzhong folk banquet, Shaanxi intangible cultural heritage banquet and other special foods, which can fully meet the consumption desire of domestic and foreign tourists to "eat the beauty of Shaanxi in one stop". Yongxingfang has many varieties of food, delicious food, and most importantly, economical and affordable. It is also an intangible cultural heritage site. Many representative snacks in Shaanxi can only be found in Yongxingfang. I believe that people who come out to travel must want to eat both special and economical food. By the way, I forgot to say that Yongxingfang is very beautiful at night and close to the city wall. After eating, you can also walk on the ancient city wall. It's perfect.

Located near Xinjie in Xi'an's Xincheng District, it is a specialty food street in Xi'an together with Huimin Street. Many internet-famous foodie spots such as Smashing Bowl Wine, Dingbian He Laotai Niangpi, Zichang Pancakes, and Red Willow Lamb Skewers are located here.

Entering Yongxingfang, the lights are on, as if you have returned to the prosperous Tang Dynasty, where everything is so prosperous.

I can't stop eating. Even though my stomach problem hasn't been cured for long, I'm already prepared not to eat white rice this week.

Overall, I was very satisfied. I walked around and had a good meal.

The Yongning Gate city wall at night is so beautiful that I really want time to stop here.

By Xiao Jiang in Weizhou Island |

Yongxingfang is a food street built by local planning. No two stores in it are the same, so foodies can eat all the way without repeating the same snacks. There is less difficulty in choosing, which is really a blessing for foodies.

After entering the archway, this bronze mirror comes into view.

The famous "bowl-breaking wine" check-in spot. Five yuan for each break.

After walking around the whole street, I tried my first roujiamo, which cost 12 yuan!

By Devil Lucy |

Yongxinfang has unknowingly become popular among internet celebrities. I first had a bowl of mutton soup with steamed buns in a shop at the intersection of Huayu Lane and East Second Road, which had a sign saying "century-old shop" printed on the doorplate. The taste was not very good. The mutton was cold and surprisingly hard, which was far inferior to the soup with steamed buns that my friend treated me to last time.

When we officially entered Yongxinfang, we saw a constant stream of people and every store was bustling with people. I entered from the intersection of Huayu Lane. There was a steamed bun shop and I ordered a roujiamo, but the taste was not very good. I also looked at a Hulu chicken shop and it was indeed much worse in appearance than the one in Gujin Old Teahouse.

The most popular bowl-breaking wine, I must say, has nothing to do with Xi'an. It's really sad that such an ancient capital has become popular because of this incompatible thing, but the business is really booming, with long queues, but I really don't get any fun. Most of them are middle-aged people in their 40s and 50s who break bowls there, and they buy ten bowls at a time, which is really generous. However, the nearby shops have suffered, and their feet are sticky when they walk...

The biangbiang noodles served beside the bowl-breaking wine were okay, but they were completely overshadowed by the wine, so they could only be described as being mediocre.

I saw the doorplate of the German pork trotter that many netizens recommended, but I really couldn’t find the store.

Overall, I am quite disappointed with Yongxinfang. However, it is not easy for food streets in various places to feel like Taiwan's night markets.

By Thinking Drink |

Yongxingfang was newly built in recent years. It is said that many delicious foods are planned to be concentrated in Yongxingfang. Yongxingfang is now very commercialized. It is recommended to eat in the alleys inside the Shuyuan Gate near the Beilin, where the prices are much cheaper.

The average per capita consumption in Yongxingfang is about 60 yuan. How much you spend depends on how much you can eat. Each snack is about 10 yuan. A roujiamo is 15 yuan, but Xi'an people only spend 6 yuan to buy a roujiamo.

After arriving at Yongxingfang, we started to check in various Internet-famous snacks. The first stop was He Lao Da's stuffed skin. Then, with my infinite love for sweets, I tried Lao Yan's mung bean jelly and brush pastry. The taste was okay. The brush pastry was a delight. I swallowed it before I even tasted it. Eating is all about feelings. I bought a roujiamo under the Guanzhong Building in Yongxingfang. It had a lot of meat, but it was not the best roujiamo I had eaten in Xi'an. Roujiamo in Xi'an still needs to be eaten in the alleys. You can't eat it in places like Yongxingfang and Huimin Street. The steamed buns outside these two places are all made of unpaste.

By imyee |

Not far from one of the four city gates is Yongxingfang.

This is probably a high-end version of Muslim Street. There are people everywhere.

There are many places to eat. The Internet celebrity bowl-breaking wine seems to be here.

The sour plum soup is delicious, sour and sweet

It's my first time eating biangbiang noodles. I think the taste is average.

But it's much wider than the ones I ate before.

There was a fried sausage, which was basically a rice noodle roll. I had to wait in a long line to get it. After eating it, I felt

Guangdong's rice noodle rolls are still the best!

By Small dish travel story |

Yongxingfang was built based on the layout of the "fang" in the Tang Dynasty. The overall planning is very good, but today, with neatly replaced antique buildings and more and more tourists coming to check in, the so-called Wei Zheng thought and culture experience area is no longer meaningful. Most of the things in it are similar to the nature of a food street. From this perspective, Yongxingfang has made an indelible contribution to the excavation and creation of Shaanxi's food culture. Come in with an empty stomach and leave with the help of the wall. This is the charm of Yongxingfang...a charm that even the dignitaries of the Tang Dynasty could not enjoy...

By Chuan-Li |

The first time I came across Yongxingfang was on the Internet. I saw the bowl-breaking wine and wanted to try it. Fortunately, I came here.

I can't help but be vulgar. I ate the internet-famous brush pastry and drank wine. I have to say that the prices in Yongxingfang are still very reasonable, except for the brush pastry. Hahahaha, it doesn't live up to its reputation and my expectations are a bit high.

By DONNY*SHEI |

Compared with Muslim Street, the food street in Yongxingfang has a stronger commercial flavor. Most of the shops can only accept online payment and do not accept cash. If the money in your mobile phone is insufficient, you can apply for a card to top up your consumption. I especially recommend the spicy lamb blood tofu, which I like very much. The Internet celebrity bowl-breaking wine and the handmade ramen introduced in A Bite of China are both very good choices.

By Mier |

If Muslim Street is a food street for outsiders, then Yongxingfang is a food street for both outsiders and locals. It is beautiful at night and the lights are festive. The food is a little different from that in Muslim Street, and more refined.

Zichang pancakes, spicy garlic lamb blood, golden oil pagoda, mirror cake, meat skewers, Bingfeng, bowl-breaking wine...

I ate something extremely unpalatable, called buckwheat noodles. It was the first and last time I ate it. I will remember it for the rest of my life!

You can also watch Qinqiang performances.

By Seven Seven |

Compared to Muslim Street, I prefer the quietness of Yongxingfang, because when I went there, there were not many people in Yongxingfang, but it was also quite lively. It is the kind of snack street without the smell of fireworks, and you can stroll leisurely, but there are not many things to eat, and some snacks taste average. But I went there mainly for the wine, so I just ate a few snacks casually. I won’t recommend any of them. You can go there and experience it for yourself.

By Amy |

Yongxingfang, a new shopping and food street, was developed to develop Xi'an's tourism industry. The snacks here are a variety of specialties from the Sanqin area. The taste is good, and the price is a little expensive, but it's acceptable.

By Rise from Fire |

Yongxingfang is located in Shuncheng Lane on the north side of Zhongshan Gate inside the Xi'an city wall, covering an area of 15 acres. More than 1,400 years ago, Wei Zheng, a well-known minister of remonstration in Chinese history, lived here.

Yongxingfang brings together hundreds of specialties from all over Shaanxi, including provincial intangible cultural heritage foods, municipal intangible cultural heritage foods, handmade folk art performances and local snacks.

In Yongxingfang, you can not only experience the style of "Tang City 108 Fang", but also taste authentic Shaanxi folk snacks; and buy local specialties, delicacies and tourist souvenirs made from the place of origin or on-site using traditional folk craftsmanship.

By Metasequoia |

Yongxingfang, originally the residence of Wei Zheng in the Tang Dynasty, was built on the original site in 2007 in order to continue to improve the historical features of Shuncheng Lane, fully demonstrate the historical heritage of the ancient city, and expand the popularity and influence of Xi'an. It has added another "fang"-style boutique project to the ancient city. The project covers a total area of 15 mu, 130 meters long from east to west and 88 meters wide from north to south. According to the planning and design, it is planned to build antique "fang, si" building complex, archway, leisure green square, inner street, well house and antique decoration on the exterior wall of the building, etc. It is mainly composed of Guanzhong archway and folk traditional building complexes to form an ancient lifang-style layout, showing the neighborhood form and historical life atmosphere of the ancient Chang'an City, as well as the traditional folk life space. Relying on the profound historical and cultural heritage of the ancient city wall, it achieves a high degree of harmony with the historical landscape system of the ancient city wall in terms of inheriting history, highlighting humanity, orderly entry and exit, staggered layout, rich connotation, old-looking, restrained and focused, and separation of movement and stillness. It not only focuses on protecting the architecture of the Lifang culture, but also takes the urban humanistic spirit of Shaanxi's intangible cultural heritage cuisine as the core of exploration and protection.

The snacks in Huimin Street are mainly beef and mutton, while the snacks in Yongxingfang are mainly Shaanxi snacks. Yongxingfang, which was made popular by TikTok, is better than Huimin Street according to the tour guide, but this is not entirely true after an on-site inspection.

It is said that the "He Lao Da Liangpi" that Jay Chou has eaten has a very special taste, and contains the liver of an unknown animal.

Yongxingfang is not very large, with an empty space inside and a circle outside. There were so many people that it was impossible to find a seat, and there was no time to clean the tables and the floor.

I originally thought that Yongxingfang was a street like Huimin Street, but when I got there I found that it was a circled area, a bit like a food festival, with all kinds of stalls in that area.

There are also various Xi'an specialties inside, and there are almost no duplicate food stalls. I personally think that the food here is of higher quality than that in Muslim Street, and you can almost finish everything you need to eat after walking around. The disadvantage is that there are relatively few stores, and you can usually only eat with your hands, and there is no dining area.

By Jocelyn |

There were really, really, really a lot of people. After squeezing through the crowd, I ended up eating this.

By Yasmine Lotus Flower Deep |

It's a gathering place for internet celebrities, with a lot of people. Almost every store has its own marketing routine, haha. There is a store that sells freshly made fried dough twists, which are quite delicious. There is also a milk and egg fermented glutinous rice wine that you can try.

By On the Road |

Before coming here, I saw many people give good reviews to Yongxingfang, saying that there are many delicious foods inside, but you have to queue up for the delicious ones! People like us who are in a hurry can only find something to fill our stomachs. Sure enough, there was a problem as soon as we were casual. The first Roujiamo we bought was not delicious. The steamed bun was cold and the amount of meat was small. No wonder there was no queue there, it turned out that there was a reason. Alas, let's make do with it for now! Fortunately, the next store we chose was good. The Qishan rolled noodles did not disappoint us. Although the weather was very cold and the noodles were cold, we all ate them with relish. The noodles were very chewy and refreshing. While we were still eating noodles, someone lined up at the beef pie stall next to us. I guessed that it was delicious, and the price was not expensive, six yuan each. The queue was mainly because they were all made and sold on the spot, and they were all sold hot. I also bought one out of curiosity. When we ran to the car and took the first bite, a very worthwhile emotion sublimated from the stomach to the heart: "Comfortable", this is the food I imagined!

Yongxingfang is a very large internet celebrity street located next to Changlemen. It is very popular on the Internet, so this place is also famous. There are many very good snacks at very reasonable prices.

Jinggao is a dessert made of glutinous rice flour. It can be eaten after being coated with sauce. It looks very similar to the Cantonese pot cake, but it has a very soft and glutinous texture. The price is moderate.

The beef patty is filled with very thick beef, and the size is almost the same as Roujiamo, and there is a lot of meat, and the gravy is locked inside, so you need to pay attention. The price of 6 is quite reasonable.

Hanyin mulberry juice is a drink that I ordered after I was thirsty. It is neither sour nor sweet, with a moderate taste. It is a drink that quenches thirst and drives away the cold. The price is 10, which is a bit expensive.

Niangpi is a popular food that you need to queue up for a long time to buy. After reading the introduction, I found out that the person who made this Niangpi participated in the Avenue of Stars, so it became a popular shop. However, after eating it, I felt that it was not much different from Liangpi, just a little wider than Liangpi. The price is 10, which is a bit expensive.

Mahua, there is a shop that makes Mahua. There are two kinds of Mahua, hard (cooled) and soft (fresh from the pot). The hard ones taste better and are long and big. You will feel full after eating them. The price is 2.5 yuan per piece, and one piece is enough to fill you up.

Of course, there are many delicious foods, you can slowly explore them. There is also a cultural performance stage inside, where veteran artists will perform after 2pm. I was lucky enough to see a musical instrument that sounded like the music from the shadow play.

Yongxingfang is a newly built commercial area for citizens to taste delicious food. The buildings are antique buildings, and most of the snacks are snacks that have been passed down for a long time. There are Internet-famous bowl-breaking wine and brush pastry, as well as long queues of Zichang pancakes. There are huge crowds of people, following the crowds, eating and taking pictures while walking.

Although Yongxingfang is not as big as Huimin Street, its environment and layout are very grand.

Yongxingfang is a place where traditional Shaanxi food culture is concentrated, with modern elements. The song "Song of Xi'an People" is played all over the street...

Yongxingfang is beautiful at night with lanterns hanging everywhere! The shops here are open until 2 am.

It is more exquisite than Huimin Street. The place is not big. There was a winter solstice dumpling making activity on the day I went there.

I went to Yongxingfang because of its reputation, but it is actually just a man-made snack street. I think it is quite ordinary and there is no need to go there specially. Yongxingfang is decorated with a great atmosphere and there is also a travel information center.

I came here mainly for food. I recommend persimmon cakes, bowl-breaking wine, and pig's trotters. The spicy oil was so fragrant that I regretted not bringing a can back. When I came here, it happened to be the Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival and there were performances. But I came here mainly for food.

It is a commercial food street, but it concentrates on delicacies from all over Shaanxi, so it is still worth a visit.

Yongxingfang is not big, with shops next to each other. There is a constant queue of people for the legendary bowl-breaking wine. Some are drinking, some are taking pictures, some are acting, and some are waiting... What a colorful life!

I couldn't find where the gate was, so I just picked an alley and turned in.

Lots of small commodities.

The price is about the same as those sold outside.

After walking through some alleys, I found the main gate. Many people were taking photos here.

Yongxingfang has a collection of Shaanxi, northern Shaanxi and other delicacies. It is also a first choice for many people to take wedding photos. Along the way, we saw many couples taking artistic wedding photos. In Yongqingfang, we ate braised pork ribs. We also saw the bowl of wine throwing, which was popular on Douyin.

Yongxingfang is a special area consisting of several streets, mainly selling delicacies from southern Shaanxi, Guanzhong and other parts of Shaanxi. There are few shops, most of which are small stalls. Although it is not as famous as Huimin Street and has a large flow of people, it is also very distinctive.

Yongxingfang is not actually a historical site in Xi'an, but a new Shaanxi food distribution center. It is known as the most complete Shaanxi intangible cultural heritage food. It has three parts: Shaanxi North Building, Guanzhong Building, and Shaanxi South Building. The most famous thing here is the Internet celebrity bowl-breaking wine. Many people come here just for the bowl-breaking wine. Yongxingfang is set aside for a day because of the waiting time here. If you are lucky enough not to have to queue up in Yongxingfang, you can have time to walk around the surrounding area.

I saw the bowl-breaking wine and ordered a bowl. It tasted pretty good. I ate it in Yongxingfang before going back. Yongxingfang has many snacks, all of which are Xi'an specialties, and are better than those in Huimin Street.

It was raining that day and there were a lot of people. It was good specialty snacks.

This place became popular thanks to internet celebrities. It has bowl-breaking wine and brush-pasted pastry. No tickets are required. It is a pedestrian street and a food street. You can go there at mealtime.

Yongxingfang does have a lot of snacks, but maybe because of the dietary differences between the north and the south, we don’t know how to eat many of them, which is a bit of a waste. The fried jelly, pancakes and oil tea are okay. After a few days, I still want to eat the Weijia Liangpi again.

I simply had a bowl of Lao Sun's mutton soup steamed bun, en...it tasted even worse than the stir-fried steamed bun. It was so unpalatable that I didn't even take a picture of it. The belt noodles were okay, a very large bowl and quite novel.

The pig's trotters tasted great; the pepper yogurt was surprisingly delicious

It is a very popular place for smashing wine bowls on the Internet... The place is very small, and it is gone after a casual walk... The wine there is not very good, so I drank it for fun... I bought a few snacks and they were not tasty either...

Yongxingfang is home to more than 50 specialty food vendors from all over Shaanxi. I heard that the food here is more authentic than that in Huimin Street.

As foodies, we definitely won’t miss it.

Yongxingfang is brightly lit and crowded with people at night.
