Baotu Spring Scenic Area is located in the bustling area of the center of Jinan City. It is known as one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan along with Thousand Buddha Mountain and Daming Lake.
Baotu Spring is the main attraction of the park. The spring water is divided into three streams, which are clear and refreshing. It gushes day and night and reaches several feet high when the water is at its peak.
There are more than 30 famous springs scattered around Baotu Spring, including Jinxian Spring, Shuyu Spring, Xibo Spring, Liuxu Spring, Huanghua Spring, Dukang Spring and Bailong Spring, forming the Baotu Spring Group.
The south gate of the park is magnificent and elegant. The horizontal plaque on the gate with the words "Baotu Spring" in gold on a blue background was written by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. It is known as the "first gate" of Chinese gardens.
Every March, the magnolias in the scenic area are in full bloom, and the petals fall with the wind, creating a romantic and beautiful scene. At the same time, plum blossoms and other flowers also enter their most brilliant moments, and the whole area is full of spring.

I have heard of this attraction since I was very young. I must visit it when I am on a business trip to Jinan. Although I came on a weekday, there were still many people inside. During the tour, I met at least three tour groups wearing small hats of various colors. But to be honest, the scenery in the park is really good. Each area has relatively unique attractions and a lot of green plants. What impressed me most was that the park was very clean, and there was almost no garbage. This must be praised. I came here mainly to take some photos. If you take photos and play, you can almost finish the tour in about two and a half hours. Overall, it is still worth a visit.
Some advice for friends who love photography: The scenes in the park are relatively large, so it is recommended to bring a wide-angle lens into the park. I entered at 2 pm and the sunlight was very strong, so it is recommended to use an ND filter.
I remember when I was young, I decided to visit the three major scenic spots in Jinan when I went to play. I went to Baotu Spring in the afternoon of the day I arrived. It was a little late, but Baotu Spring was still very beautiful. I like this place very much. As the most famous spring in the country, Baotu Spring Park is named after Baotu Spring, but there are many small springs in the park, such as Du Kang Spring, etc. There is also a seal pool, and I saw the head of a baby seal. When Yutong went there, the water level was the highest in 45 years, but at that time I really had a mentality of visiting here.
Checked in at the attractions in elementary school textbooks!
Baotu Spring Park is quite large. Of course, Baotu Spring is the main attraction, but if you look closely at some of the small pools around it, you will see bubbles constantly rising up, which is quite magical. The park is also very cool. If you are tired of walking, you can sit on the corridor for a while. It is very quiet. The whole park is a kind of garden scenery, and it feels like traveling through time.
What surprised me the most was that there were two seals here! ! In fresh water, and in a pool, it is really a unique place. At least it surprised me.
"On the bridge outside the west gate, you can see a stream of fresh water, shallow and clean, flowing from south to north. This is the water flowing from Baotu Spring. If there were no such spring, Jinan would lose half of its beauty. ...... - Lao She, "Baotu Spring"
Coming to Jinan is like being a primary school student again, constantly reviewing Mr. Lao She's texts.
Baotu Spring is located in the prosperous area of the center of Jinan, with Daming Lake on its back, Thousand Buddha Mountain on its south, and connected to Quancheng Square on the east. It is a famous cultural garden with springs and cultural landscapes. Baotu Spring is the symbol and landmark of Jinan, the city of springs, and is known as one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan along with Thousand Buddha Mountain and Daming Lake.
Address: No. 1, Baotuquan South Road, Lixia District, Jinan City, Opening hours: 7:00~22:00 Tickets: 40 yuan
The main reason why Baotu Spring has become so famous is undoubtedly Mr. Lao She's "Baotu Spring".
You don't have to queue up if you buy tickets online, and it's convenient to pick up tickets. You can buy tickets on Meituan, and the ticket price is 40 yuan without discount. I went there in early November, during the chrysanthemum exhibition. The chrysanthemums were so beautiful that Baotu Spring was almost overshadowed by these national (yao) beauty (yan) and heaven (jian) fragrance (huo). To appreciate Baotu Spring, it is necessary to read Lao She's "Baotu Spring", and you can also follow Lao She's "Guide" to visit the park, so I won't go into details here.
Student tickets are half price. The price of Baotu Spring is very different from the entrance fee. It was already past eight o'clock and there were more people, especially around Baotu Spring, where people were taking pictures. The Baotu Spring scenic area is actually very large, with various springs and some celebrity memorial halls (including the Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall, which we also visited). We walked around for about an hour.
The places recommended by Lao She must have five-star reviews hahahaha. The park is very large and it should take some time to visit the whole place. When we went there, the water level was not high, so the springs were not very obvious, and it was a pity that we could not experience the lock. It is best to pay attention to the weather when you go there.
Baotu Spring, one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan, is located in Lixia District, Jinan City, and ranks first among the 72 famous springs in Jinan. When Emperor Qianlong was on a tour in the south, he named Baotu Spring "the best spring in the world" because the water from Baotu Spring tasted mellow and sweet when brewing tea.
Baotu Spring Park is like a slowly unfolding painting, with willow trees and pavilions, making visitors "so intoxicated that they don't know the way home" like Li Qingzhao. It is like a beautiful lady with both talent and beauty, admiring her radiant face, chanting intoxicated poems, and rippling with lingering feelings. The drooping willow trees are like a woman's beautiful hair, about to fall into the spring water, and the reflections are dancing, adding to the charm of Baotu Spring.
Baotu Spring Scenic Area has three gates: south, north and east. The park is not very big and it takes more than an hour to go around it.
The scenic area also includes many springs such as Jinxian Spring, Dengzhou Spring, and Mapao Spring.
The cultural landscapes include Luoyuan Hall, Guanlan Pavilion, Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall, Wanzhu Garden, etc.
The water of Baotu Spring is divided into three streams, gushing day and night. Although it is not strong, the characteristic of continuous gushing is still clearly visible. Almost all tour guides here will tell tourists that this year is the dry season with little water. If it is a normal year, autumn is the time when the water is abundant and the springs are several feet high. For us, the gushing springs in front of us are definitely a pleasant surprise. There are many springs and pools around Baotu Spring, forming the Baotu Spring Group. The famous Jinxian Spring, Shuyu Spring, Mapao Spring, Woniu Spring, Liuxu Spring, Dukang Spring and other 41 spring pools are scattered in the park, forming the Baotu Spring Group, which is the first of the four major spring groups. As the crown of all springs, Baotu Spring has become a unique symbol of the Spring City.
Baotu Spring can be regarded as the name card of Jinan. The word "Baotu" was taken from Zeng Gong, one of the Eight Great Masters of Tang and Song Dynasties, who saw the spring when he was the governor of Jinan and described its surging momentum. Baotu Spring is an ascending spring. The water is at its peak in autumn and winter (from October to March of the following year), and the spring will gradually weaken or even disappear in spring and summer. When we arrived at Baotu Spring, the water volume was not at its peak, not reaching the peak of the word "Baotu", but we could clearly see the three springs surging like boiling water.
Baotu Spring Park is located in a prosperous area in the center of Jinan City, Shandong Province. It is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction. It is backed by Thousand Buddha Mountain in the south, Daming Lake in the north, and connected to Quancheng Square in the east. It is a famous cultural garden dominated by springs and cultural landscapes.
The ticket is 40 yuan. I recommend buying it online. I went there during the Qingming Festival. It took at least 20 minutes to queue up for tickets. But since I bought the ticket online, I could enter directly by swiping my ID card. This attraction is a must-see attraction when you go to Jinan. "Thousand Buddha Mountain, Daming Lake, and Baotu Spring are the three major attractions in Jinan. Now let's talk about Baotu Spring. When you leave the west gate of Jinan, you can see a stream of fresh water on the bridge. It is shallow and fresh, flowing from south to north. The weeping willows on the bank are reflected in the water, and they are green above and below, very quiet. This water flows from Baotu Spring. If there is no Baotu Spring, Jinan will lose half of its charm." I guess the reason why Baotu Spring is famous is because everyone has learned Lao She's "Baotu Spring"!
With an area of 158 mu, it is the most famous of the 72 famous springs in Jinan. When Emperor Qianlong visited the south, he named Baotu Spring as the "No. 1 Spring in the World" because the water from Baotu Spring tasted mellow and sweet. The spring water gushes out from underground limestone caves, 70,000 cubic meters of spring water gushes out every day. The spring has three outlets, and the maximum water flow is 162,000 meters/day. The water of Baotu Spring is constant at around 18℃ all year round. The scenic spots and historical sites around Baotu Spring include Luoyuan Hall, Guanlan Pavilion, Shangzhi Hall, Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall, Li Kuchan Memorial Hall and other attractions.
Baotu Spring Park is located in the prosperous area of the center of Jinan City. It is adjacent to Thousand Buddha Mountain in the south, Daming Lake in the north, and connected to Quancheng Square in the east. It is a famous cultural park with springs and cultural landscape as the main features. In 1956, Baotu Spring was renovated and turned into a park. After several expansions, it has gradually become a spring-dominated, small and exquisite spring and stone park with different scenery at every step. The area has expanded from less than 3.4 hectares to 10.5 hectares. Baotu Spring, also known as Kanquan, is the source of Luoshui and has a history of 2,700 years. Baotu Spring has three caves that burst out at the same time, and the sound is like hidden thunder. "The spring source is rising, and the water is surging like a wheel." The spring water is constant at around 18 degrees Celsius all year round.

A must-see attraction in Jinan, the garden scenery is good.
Jinan's business card, the most famous spring, go at the right time and the spring flow is large, you can see the spring water gushing
Baotu Spring, ranked first among the famous springs in Jinan, is a must-see attraction in Jinan
There are too many people, but the spring water is really clear! It's worth a visit.
Worthy of being called "the best spring in the world", it is the best place for family trips in summer
How can you come to Jinan and not visit Baotu Spring? Baotu Spring, Thousand Buddha Mountain and Daming Lake have all become symbols of Jinan imprinted in people's minds.
It's OK. The whole garden is nice. The spring water flow is not very strong.
Baotu Spring, the city of springs. People come here for its unique scenery.
It's a must-visit place in Jinan, but there's not much to see except Baotu Spring. It's a bit inappropriate to fence it off and charge for it.
The business hours are until 7pm, so it is very comfortable to go shopping there in the afternoon.
It was included in the textbooks when I was a child, so I still have to read it.
The spring water is very clear, there are many fish, it is very leisurely and beautiful.
Check in at Yuetu Spring, ticket price 40/person
Nice view, clear water
You can take a boat when you walk inside, but Daming Lake is currently closed to boats.
The boat ticket is 10-20 yuan. We took the 10 yuan ticket and got off the boat in just two minutes.
There is also a place to collect spring water.
The No. 1 spring in the world, it is recommended to go early, it is said that the water volume is getting smaller and smaller. When I went there, I could still see a small fountain
The world's first spring is indeed worthy of its reputation and is worth a visit
It might be the dry season. I didn't see any water gushing out of the spring, but I saw a big pool. There were a lot of people, mostly elderly tour groups. The ticket price was 40 yuan. For me, it's still a large park that costs money.
It was April, catkins were flying, the pool was full of white oil, the experience was extremely bad (masks were required.
When you come to Jinan, how can you not check in the famous Baotu Spring? The spring of Baotu Spring is not as big as you imagine, the water is very clear, and the scenic environment is good. It is still worth a visit!
Baotu Spring, an article in elementary school textbooks, reveals its age. It seems that it may be drying up. The water output of the spring is very small.
I looked up and saw Thousand Buddha Mountain, and turned around and saw Baotu Spring. This is the soul of old Jinan. The three clear springs are the most original Jinan city.
Baotu Spring is the main attraction in the park. The spring pool is 30 meters long from east to west and 20 meters wide from north to south. The spring gushes out of the flat ground in three streams. The spring water is clear and fresh. There are large stone blocks around the spring, surrounded by railings, from which you can overlook the wonder of the three springs gushing in the pool. Near Baotu Spring, there are more than 30 famous springs such as Jinxian Spring, Shuyu Spring, Xibo Spring, Liuxu Spring, Huanghua Spring, Dukang Spring, and Bailong Spring, which constitute the Baotu Spring Group. Among them, Shuyu Spring is related to Li Qingzhao, a female poet in the Song Dynasty. Her former residence is next to Shuyu Spring, and it is named after her collection of essays "Shuyu Collection". The Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall in the north of the spring was built to commemorate this famous poet. It is worth mentioning that the south gate of Baotu Spring Park is magnificently decorated and elegant. The horizontal plaque on the gate with the words "Baotu Spring" in gold on a blue background was written by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. Some people call it the "first gate" of Chinese gardens, which is not an exaggeration. There is a stone tablet next to Baotu Spring, with the words "First Spring" in dark green. It was written by Wang Zhonglin of Licheng during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. Today, there is a Song Dynasty building "Luoyuan Hall" (now rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty) to the north of Baotu Spring. On the pillars on both sides of the hall are hung the couplet "clouds and mists moisten Huabuzhu, waves shake Daming Lake"; in the southwest is the Ming Dynasty building "Guanlan Pavilion", in front of which stands a stone tablet in the water with the three characters "Baotu Spring" inscribed on it. Baotu Spring was written by Hu Zongzon, a calligrapher in the Ming Dynasty. To the east of the pool is the "Laihe Bridge". At the south end of the bridge stands an antique wooden archway with the words "Dongtian Fudi" and "Pengshan Old Traces" read on the horizontal plaque.
The best spring in the world is famous all over the world and is worth a visit.
Jinan Baotu Spring 40th Spring Festival Lantern Festival!!
It is a scenic spot worth visiting, with many springs and a pond with seals. My first thought when I saw it was that the saying about raising fish in boiling water is true.
I really admire it. I joked with Aiwen that I still think Baotu Spring is interesting, at least it has three bulges, and the others have almost no spring eyes.
The scenic spots in Baotu Spring Park are very unique, giving a feeling of Jiangnan gardens and peaceful times.
Baotu Spring Park is located in the bustling area of the center of Jinan. It is known as one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan along with Thousand Buddha Mountain and Daming Lake.
Visited Baotu Spring Scenic Area on the first night of the first lunar month. The 40th Lantern Festival was very festive. The theme was the Year of the Pig and Shandong culture. It was great.
Since the Northern Wei Dynasty, a large number of literati and poets have written poems about Baotu Spring and its surrounding scenic spots and historical sites. For the sake of these ancient and modern literati's reputation, and the fact that I had learned Lao She's article "Baotu Spring" in my Chinese textbook when I was in school, I had to come here to take a look.
The Baotu Spring Scenic Area is not large and can be visited in one hour.
The height of Baotu Spring varies in different years, seasons and weather conditions, and sometimes it really depends on luck. I remember before I came to Jinan, I asked my brother, "How did you feel when you went to see Baotu Spring last time?" My brother said, "... It didn't burst anymore..."
The water of the Baotu Springs is mostly clear and transparent, but it is really difficult to take photos (the water surface reflects light), and you can't capture the scenery you see with your own eyes. Only then did I admire the literati and poets very much, because compared with the records of the camera, the words seem to be more full and imaginative.
At first glance, "Baotu Spring" written by Lao She seems like the world of literati is too exaggerated and everything seems beautiful. But if you take another look, you will find that it is exactly the same as the real scene. I admire you so much!
There were so many people that it felt like the spring water was getting less and less, and you couldn’t tell unless you looked carefully.
The ticket to Baotu Spring is 40. Baotu Spring is very beautiful and clear, but there are too many coins.
There is also a Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall in the Baotu Spring Scenic Area, but I didn’t visit it much.
The most famous spring in Jinan. Lao She's Thousand Buddha Mountain, Daming Lake and Baotu Spring are the three major scenic spots in Jinan. This elementary school text is deeply rooted in people's hearts. Now that I finally see Baotu Spring, I am really moved.
The ticket is worth 10 yuan, but there is nothing in it. It is just a false reputation.
The most representative place in Jinan, the City of Springs, is Baotu Spring, which is known as the best spring in the world. When I went there, the spring water was gushing all the time, which is quite unique. The water quality is also crystal clear. However, apart from a few springs, the whole scenic spot is just an ordinary garden, and there is not much to see.
The scenic area is very beautiful, worthy of being called the Spring City. Although it is in the north, it is very warm in winter, and has the feeling of Jiangnan gardens. You can enjoy it when you enter. The water of Baotu Spring is very clear and gives people a very good feeling.
Our first stop is Baotu Spring, which ranks first among the "72 famous springs" in Jinan. Known as "the best spring in the world", Baotu Spring is located in Baotu Spring Park in Jinan. Baotu Spring is the first famous spring in Jinan that was mentioned in ancient documents. Zeng Gong of the Song Dynasty named it "Baotu Spring". It is also known as "Kanquan", "Eying Water", "Wenquan", "Pushui", "Sangushui" and so on. The so-called "Baotu" means jumping and rushing, which reflects the characteristics of the three caves of Baotu Spring that burst out and gush endlessly. The famous writer Pu Songling believes that Baotu Spring is "the best spring in the country and the unparalleled scenic spot in Qimen".
There are springs flowing everywhere, and the water is crystal clear.
Three-eyed Botu
There is an article about Baotu Spring in my Chinese textbook since I was a kid. I have long forgotten who wrote it and what the title was, but I only remember that there is such a spring in Jinan. So even if I sneeze a lot, I still want to see the real Baotu Spring.
From the entrance of the park, I saw the Diexi clear channel, and the children were playing with water guns, while I walked forward with a little imagination. Passing by the Dukang Spring, many tourists drank the spring water in bottles, but looking at the gray sky polluted by heavy industry above my head, I really didn't dare to have any expectations for this groundwater. After all, the spring water in the past was for people to drink, not just for people to see like now.
I continued walking forward with a little regret. In the distance, I saw a corridor crowded with people. That should be the real Baotu Spring. I raised my neck and leaned forward. What caught my eye was not the gurgling sound of the beautiful spring water, but torrents leaping out, which were larger than I could have imagined.
Three springs and a clear pool.
I have read this article in elementary school textbooks, so I will definitely come here to see it when I travel to Jinan. The ticket price of 40 is not expensive. The first time I went there, there was a chrysanthemum exhibition, so the scenery was still good. The second time I came was winter, but the water inside was very clear and I could clearly see the fish inside.
I went there many years ago. I still remember it. I remember the spring water was clear and the corner was a quiet place. The only thing was that the crowd next to the spring was more lively than the spring. The tea was very expensive.
The ticket price is 40 yuan/person, and the discount ticket price is 20 yuan/person. It is a 5A scenic spot, so the ticket price is not expensive. The recommended playing time is 2.5 hours.
There is a small luggage storage shop at the door, 10 yuan per time, no time limit, very convenient!
Baotu Spring is probably the most famous spring in China and the first of the 72 springs in Jinan. When I went there, it seemed that the spring was not at its largest. I could only vaguely see three spring eyes without any splashes.
PS. There are so many people here at Baotu Spring. It is so difficult to squeeze in. I took pictures and left quickly. I couldn’t breathe.
In addition to Baotu Spring and Du Kang Spring, other springs also have their own characteristics and are worth seeing.
Baotu Spring is a place for Jinan people to relax rather than a tourist attraction. Many citizens come here to paint, sing operas, chat and even play in the water. In addition to the beautiful scenery, you can also experience the rich cultural atmosphere of Jinan here.
The Jinan spring water big bowl tea in the scenic area costs 2 yuan per bowl. The tea master uses both hands and his movements are neat and tidy. There is no exquisiteness and delicacy of Hangzhou Gongfu tea here, but there is a touch of Shandong's unique boldness. I like this market culture, simple, plain and free. There is also a stage for opera performances next to it. Drinking tea and listening to operas, isn't it fun? The big bowl tea also sells hawthorn cakes to relieve your tooth cravings. An autumn breeze, a cup of tea, a little song, a hawthorn cake in the left hand, a beautiful woman in the right hand, happy, happy, hahaha~
There are also some places in the scenic area for children to play in the water. This has gone beyond a tourist attraction and has become a water park!
There are many small stalls in the scenic area, and children are painting seriously at the stalls.
It is the most famous scenic spot in Jinan and the most representative one. The overall design of the scenic spot is also good.
There are many comments about Baotu Spring Scenic Area, so I will talk about other aspects here. Transportation: Take bus No. 3 (2 yuan) from the southwest exit of Jinan Station and get off at the "West Gate" station. Walk 300 meters west to the north gate of Baotu Spring Scenic Area. Take bus No. 51 to the "Baotu Spring" East Gate station and walk for 5 minutes to the south gate of Baotu Spring Scenic Area.
Jinan public transportation supports WeChat's "Tencent QR code". You can scan the code to take the bus by locating "Jinan", and Hellobikes can be seen everywhere.
Book tickets online and enter the scenic area by swiping your ID card
Tickets: 40 yuan
Recommendation index: 5 stars
Mr. Lao She once said that without Baotu Spring, Jinan would lose half of its charm. It can be said that Baotu Spring is the symbol and landmark of Jinan, the City of Springs, and is known as "the best spring in the world". So, to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the City of Springs, of course, you should visit Baotu Spring first.
Although there were many people at the entrance of the scenic spot, the queue was very fast. In less than ten minutes, I arrived at our No. 1 spring in the world. When I arrived at Baotu Spring, I found that it had been occupied. There were people all around. Although there were many people, I squeezed in with my small advantage. Mr. Lao She was indeed not deceiving me. There were indeed many small springs under the spring that were constantly bubbling, bubbling, bubbling, always so crystal clear, so lively, as if never tired. There are many unknown spring pools next to Baotu Spring. There are few people and it is very quiet. You can rest next to it when you are tired. Although these small spring pools are not as famous as Baotu Spring, they are also crystal clear, with willow branches hanging down, giving a feeling of peace and tranquility.
Beautiful spring water, Li Qingzhao's former residence... The ticket is not expensive, it's worth a visit!
After a short stop, I took a few photos of Baotu Spring and went straight to Daming Lake.
The garden scenery gives you a different feeling every time you walk around. The spring water is clear and bright, and the spring water is very cool.
The water of Baotu Spring is really clear. After visiting so many springs, many of them only produce small bubbles. Baotu Spring, known as the "No. 1 Spring in the World", has the largest amount of water from its three springs.
Drinking tea in the teahouse spring water, the tea is clear, sitting by the window, the light is reflected on the spring surface, it is comfortable
The amazing sight of three springs gushing out of the pool at Guanlan Pavilion.
This is my second time to visit, and the last time was twelve years ago. Baotu Spring, one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan, is a must-see for tourists, to experience the "Maomao, Maomao" described by Mr. Lao She. Baotu Spring Park is in the city center, and the 40 yuan ticket price is indeed not cheap, but even so, Baotu Spring still attracts a large number of tourists, not to mention if it is free. But I have never liked crowded places, and if I come early in the morning, I may have a better experience.
Adult tickets are 40 yuan each. The former residence of Li Qingzhao in the scenic area is under renovation and we were unable to enter. There are two cute little seals. The spring water is not too big. It may be better if you go after the rainy season.
Baotu Spring is known as the source of Luoshui. The first time it appeared in history books was in the record of the negotiation between Duke Huan of Lu and Duke Xiang of Ji on the border between the two countries in the Spring and Autumn Annals. In the 17th year of Duke Huan of Lu (695 BC), Qi and Lu went to war due to border disputes. In the spring of the following year, Duke Huan of Lu went to Qi to negotiate border issues and met with Duke Qi (Duke Xiang of Qi) in Luo. Luo, the source of Luoshui, is Baotu Spring. Therefore, Baotu Spring has been known for 2,500 to 6,000 years. However, the name of the source of Luoshui was not Baotu Spring at that time. During the Northern Wei Dynasty, because the Ejiang (Ying) Temple was built on the spring, the valley was called Ejiang (Ying) Water. It was not until Zeng Gong, a Northern Song Dynasty writer and one of the Eight Great Masters of Tang and Song Dynasties, that it was called Baotu Spring, and it has been passed down to this day. However, some people in the Song Dynasty and the Jin Dynasty called it "hot spring", "kanquan", "baoliuquan", "puliuquan" and so on, but none of them is as accurate and vivid as the name "Baotu Spring".
There are three powerful characters engraved on the stone tablet in the spring pool: Baotu Spring, written by Hu Zongzong, the governor of Shandong Province in the Ming Dynasty. This character "Tu" is a bit strange, missing two dots (one less on the top of the treasure cover and one less on the dog below). There is no clear explanation for why this character "Tu" is written in this way, so there are many stories: it is said that the three streams of water that surged up and pushed off the "lid", making the character "Tu" look like it is now, of course, this is just a fantasy to describe the strong power of the spring. Another saying is that the dot on the treasure cover is like a hat, and taking off the hat means that Baotu Spring will always gush and have no end.
The "First Spring" stone tablet erected in Baotu Spring was inscribed by Wang Zhonglin of Licheng during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. Wang Zhonglin was a native of Licheng, Jinan, in the Qing Dynasty. In the 24th year of Daoguang (1844), he passed the imperial examination and was appointed as the transport judge of Changlu (today's Changlu Salt District in Tianjin). He ended his career as the salt transport envoy of Jizhou. In the 8th year of Tongzhi (1869), Wang Zhonglin (Zi Yusheng), who was the salt transport envoy of Jizhou (today's Jizhou, Tianjin), returned to his hometown of Jinan. In February of that year, he inscribed the "First Spring" tablet for Baotu Spring, and wrote "The First Spring Record" pointing out that although there are many famous springs in the world, Baotu Spring is the well-deserved "No. 1 Spring in the World", and "there are more than 72 springs everywhere in Jinan". Afterwards, Wang Zhonglin began to conduct field investigations on the famous springs in Jinan, and finally recorded "A Study of the 72 Famous Springs in Jinan".
The small pavilion on the west side of the spring pool that extends into the water is called Guanlan Pavilion, which was built specifically for viewing the spring. The pavilion was first built during the Xining period of the Northern Song Dynasty (around 1073), and was called Kanquan Pavilion at that time. In the fifth year of Tianshun in the Ming Dynasty (1461), the imperial envoys Wei Gong and Wu Gong came to Jinan and renamed it Guanlan Pavilion. It was taken from the meaning of "To view water, one must view its waves" in "Mencius: Doing One's Best". In front of the pavilion, there are three characters "Guanlan Pavilion" written by Ming Dynasty calligrapher Xing Tong. The two big characters "Guanlan" engraved on the stone tablet behind "Guanlan Pavilion" are the ink marks of Ming Dynasty calligrapher Zhang Qin.
There are lots of fish, and the water is very clear at this time, and you can see bubbles gushing out of the spring.
The ticket to Baotu Spring is a bit expensive, with adult tickets over 40 and student tickets half price. After entering, it is actually similar to Wulongtan. I took a quick look around. There is a Qingyun Bridge or something at the entrance. Anyway, I believe that if you walk across this bridge, you will rise to the top. Baotu Spring is the best spring in the world. The spring water is very clear, with many fish swimming in it. When the sun shines down, it is exactly the same as described in ancient texts.
The symbol of Jinan, the city of springs, the three springs are still full of water. At that time, many citizens brought their children to play in the water. It can be said to be a must-see attraction in Jinan.
After eating, we took a stroll and arrived at Baotu Spring, where we started looking for springs. There were nearly 30 springs of various sizes.
The first spring when entering the park is not big and shaped like a plum blossom. It is easy to walk past. There are many pools next to it where some children are playing in the water. This spring is on the right hand side.
Walk to the center of the garden and you will find the No. 1 Spring in the World.
(However, Mr. Liu said that it is too small now and can no longer be seen. When I came here a few years ago, the spring was very large and very high.)
I used to look at photos of it, but when I see it in person I still think it is quite big and beautiful. The water is very clear and there are lots of fish. In the pond opposite I can also see a small spring gushing out water.
After Baotu Spring, Wulongtan is across the road. You can just visit them in order.
Jinan, known as the City of Springs,
It is famous for the large and small springs scattered throughout the city.
The most famous one is definitely Baotu Spring.
It is indeed the most visited tourist attraction in Jinan.
Of course, the tickets are also the most expensive.
It was already quite late when we arrived at Baotu Spring.
It feels like there is not much time left before closing, but there are still many tourists.
A large number of people walked out after visiting the scenic spots.
There were also people who had just arrived and were in a hurry to go shopping.
So the entrance was terribly crowded.
Aside from the mountains of tourists,
Baotu Spring has been turned into a large park by osmanthus.
The park is well greened and divided into various areas.
There are water, bridges and pavilions, which have the charm of the Jiangnan water town.
I was particularly impressed by the fact that there were two seals in a pool.
The round body swam back and forth,
Big eyes and long eyelashes are so cute.
I watched the seals for a while.
Then he reluctantly left and walked inside.
Baotu Spring is located at the core of the park.
There is a stone tablet in the pool with the three characters "Baotu Spring" written on it.
You can find the location of the spring by following the words.
The water is not very strong, neither rushing nor surging,
There is a corridor around the pool.
There were so many people that it felt like I had no idea where to put my feet.
I was always afraid of being pushed into the water.
Just take a few photos and leave quickly.
The small corners of the park with few people are also very beautiful.
Jinan is still very hot in the evening.
Entering this park with lush green leaves and flowing water,
After all, it is still cooler and more enjoyable.
