I highly recommend Changdao! I always thought that the seas in Dalian, Hebei, and Shandong were all yellow, but the sea water in Changdao was beyond my expectations. I drove there with my friends (the car had to be driven on the boat) and stayed in Changdao for 2 nights. The transportation on the island is not very convenient, and most people will charter a car, so taxis are not particularly easy to call, so we just drove the car over. It is quite big and divided into 2 parts. There is a place whose name I forgot. The beach there is full of pebbles. It is said that the scenic spot has spent a lot of effort and money to select round stones. The sea water is clean, the stone beach is clean, and it is sunny. It is too comfortable to sit and lie on the beach for a while. There are also many delicious foods on the island, mostly seafood, which are indeed fresh. As for the taste, it depends on whether you can choose a delicious restaurant. In addition, we went there on November 11, and there were not too many people. Strongly recommended.
After we got to the island, a guide picked us up. Because we went there in the off-season, the guide was very cheap. Changdao is a small county with only 30,000 people, but during the peak season, the number of people entering the island can reach 40,000 people per day. When I went there in September, there were activities in the scenic spot, and the ticket was bought directly from the scenic spot for 90 yuan...

I have to complain about the ticket office of Jiuzhang Cliff in Changdao. There are a lot of people in the peak tourist season, most of whom are with children and the elderly. However, there are only two individual windows and two team windows. Because children's tickets cannot be booked online, there are a lot of people queuing up. It takes almost one or two hours to buy tickets. There are only two windows for ticket sales, not the hall, no air conditioning, and no maintenance or guidance of the queue. The signs of individual tourists and teams cannot be seen outside, so individual tourists are lined up, but the tour guide of the team directly cuts in line as soon as he comes, and no staff stops him. We individual tourists sweat and queue for more than an hour, and there are many elderly and children. Not only do we need ID cards, but we also have to write the children's names on the tickets by hand. The work efficiency is too low. Some tourists have conflicts with the ticket sellers on the spot. In short, the service of the scenic spot needs to be improved in all aspects! Crescent Bay of Changdao, there is no beach in Changdao, only beaches. The beaches of Changdao are all artificial. Crescent Bay is full of pebbles, and the water is very clear and clean, but the pebbles here are not allowed to be taken away.
Changdao Road is quite undulating. You can choose to take the bus. The bus line runs through the north and south islands. If you drive to the island, don't go into the ticket office, drive directly to the sign for vehicle security inspection. They will drive to check and then give you a list. Because the car moves very slowly, you can send someone to buy tickets after getting the list. The ticket is sold in a very small booth. Adults are 45, children aged 1.2-1.5 are half-price, and children under 1.2 are free. The car is 170. Special reminder for babies: 1. Changdao puts a thousand cars on the island every day, so try to arrive early. When we arrived, there were only more than 300 parking spaces left; 2. One person needs one certificate to buy a ticket. The whole journey takes about 40 minutes. The ticket will be used twice before uploading, and there will be a guide. After parking the car in the cargo space, the dog can enter the cabin with people, but please hold it tightly. Overall, Changdao is still very suitable for tourism and vacation. Have one or two confidants and three or five good friends, and spend a slow vacation in Changdao.
Penglai Changdao is so beautiful that it does not need a filter. You do not need to go to the scenic area. The whole island and the sea surrounding it are all beautiful. Because there is no public transportation on the island, you usually take a private car or rent a car. The planning of the South Island is more mature and prosperous. There are more hotels there, the environment is slightly better, and the price is correspondingly higher. The North Island is full of fishing houses, with fewer businesses and cheaper prices. I stayed in the North Island this time. The owner of the fishing house is quite nice.
Buy a boat ticket at the pier, 45/person, there are many trips. It takes about 1 hour on the boat. After arriving at Changdao Pier, those who have booked a fishing house can call the store to ask someone to pick them up at the pier.
Changdao Island is building a slow lane recently. The red, yellow and blue colors are really nice for taking photos. It is said that after it is built, you can walk around the island along this trail. It has not been fully built yet, so you can only walk a section.
In fact, you can spend a day to visit Changdao, mainly Jiuzhang Cliff and Linhai. It is best to go there early in the morning, play for a day, and return at night. If you want to stay overnight to experience farm life, you can go there in the morning, so you don’t have to get up so early, then visit a scenic spot in the afternoon, watch the sunset, stay overnight, get up the next morning to watch the sunrise, visit another scenic spot, and then leave the island.

The bedroom, kitchen, balcony, you can cook and take a bath by yourself. There are also goldfish and turtles at home. It can be seen that he is also a person who loves small animals. The landlord was very enthusiastic and provided us with a bucket of fresh water for free. Because Changdao is surrounded by the sea, fresh water is relatively scarce. So he specially provided us with two days of fresh water for free. After lunch, we drove to the Linhai Scenic Area in Changdao County. We got on the sightseeing bus. Dabao also passed the ticket gate smoothly. And no agreement was signed. The sea breeze hit us in the face. We took photos at various scenic spots. After more than an hour's journey, we ended the first day's itinerary. The next morning, we set off early to the Crescent Bay and Jiuzhang Cliff. Because the ground temperature was as high as more than 30 degrees, it was no longer suitable for dogs to travel, so I chose to take Dabao in the air-conditioned car. Here is a warm reminder that you can take a sightseeing bus from Linhai to Fengshan. The sightseeing bus is 35 yuan per person. Dogs can also be brought. In addition, Jiuzhang Cliff and Moon Bay are both dog-friendly. Moon Bay also has free seal performances, but it is not recommended to watch them. Because the seal trainers will violate the seal's heart and make her do some unpleasant actions. All lives should be respected. We had a meal at Diewuxuan at noon for four adults, a three-year-old child and a dog, totaling more than 100 yuan. And it is clean and hygienic. The key is that the taste is superb. I suggest everyone to try it together. After lunch, we went to Changdao County Pier together to prepare to take a boat back to Penglai Port. Here I would like to make a severe criticism of the staff of Changdao Pier. Because dogs are not allowed in the cabin. Finally, after negotiation, I spent 20 yuan to enter the first-class cabin. It is said to have air conditioning, but it is not cold at all. Dabao kept sticking out his tongue. I kept cooling him down physically for fear that he would have heatstroke. Therefore, I hope that tourists going there will prepare more mineral water and ice packs for emergencies. We arrived at our home in Longkou at around four o'clock. After a day of adjustment, we returned to Beijing from Longkou. Participate in the free examination project of Mile Hospital on the 15th. I wanted to stay longer. But it is worth it for Dabao.

We negotiated the price with the driver in advance. It was not a peak season, and the price was relatively reasonable (about 100 yuan for visiting Jiuzhang Cliff + Crescent Bay + Wangfu Reef). There are many small restaurants in Changdao, but because the city is not big, many restaurants close early. If you are going to have a midnight snack, there will be relatively fewer places to choose from. In short, this trip to Changdao is still a very good travel experience. When you come to Penglai, if time permits, you can come to Changdao to play. One day is basically enough.

Seafood lovers can go there in September to eat and play, but locals recommend going there in June, as the scenery of Wanniao Island is also good at that time. Comprehensive evaluation: The boat fee, charter fee and scenic spot fee are about 200. It doesn’t seem cost-effective for a scenic spot that doesn’t even have an A. Unless you want to vacation in Changdao to see the sunrise and sunset.

June 3, 2016. I and my husband's friends took three cars to go on a short trip to Changdao, Penglai, Shandong.
Changdao is an outlying island near Penglai. You can take a boat with your car from Penglai. There is a passenger and car boat every hour, and the boat ride takes about 50 minutes. Each car (5 seats) costs 140 yuan, and each person costs 30 yuan. We went there in the off-season, and there were no tickets for the return trip, so we had to wait for an extra hour. It is said that in the peak season, the queue for cars to go to the island will be very long. If you don't bring a car to the island, you can ask the fishing house to pick you up at the pier.
We stayed at a fishing house called Yushe Town, and the cost per person for three meals a day plus accommodation was 200 yuan. The environment was clean, tidy and distinctive, and every meal was fresh seafood, as well as large Spanish mackerel dumplings. The accommodation was right next to the famous Crescent Bay Park. After dinner, we walked ten minutes to the park for a walk. There was no entrance fee. The next morning, we walked around Crescent Bay Park from the right and walked alone along the path at the foot of the mountain. We turned to a wider sea, and the rising sun shone through the thick clouds, casting a dazzling light on the sea. In the morning, we circled the island, looked at the Qianzhang Cliff outside, visited the "sea field" for seawater aquaculture, wandered in the Bay Park, and crossed the bridge to the South Island, the political and cultural center of Changdao County. In the afternoon, we went up the mountain along the path next to the fishing house, and there was another different view. The sea and sky were one color, the green mountains were lush, the path was full of yellow cornflowers, and the wind rotors of the wind turbines were rotating, making a sound of breaking through the air. Because the wind power equipment needs to be transported up the mountain, a cement road was built from the foot of the mountain and extends to each mountain top. Along the road to the top of the mountain, you can see the bay, beach, green mountains and villages. The scenery is breathtaking.
Due to time constraints, we returned on the third day. There are many attractions that we missed, and we didn’t have enough fun at the beach and in the mountains. If we had time, this place is worth a week or more of leisurely fun!

The Changdao trip is divided into the South Line, the North Line and the Full Line. The scenery on the island is average, and it is a good place to eat seafood. You can go out to sea with the fishermen. If possible, you can stay on the inner island for a while and experience the life of fishermen.
Public transportation is not convenient and there are too few public buses, but Changdao has beautiful scenery. I highly recommend Jiuzhang Cliff. It is a good place that you want to go again!

To be honest, I don't recommend going to Changdao. The prices are high, the cost performance is not high, and the scenery is average. I personally prefer the colorful stone beach in Crescent Bay. The tickets for Crescent Bay and Jiuzhang Cliff are 70. It's best to take the tram in the scenic area to go to Crescent Bay. The one-way trip should be 15. It's a bit far to walk. Many hotels can bring processed seafood. You can buy it yourself and let them process it. It's usually around 10-20, depending on how it's prepared.
