Crescent Bay Park

Crescent Bay Park, also known as Half Moon Bay, is about 2 kilometers long and looks like a huge crescent moon.
The main buildings in the garden are a 20-meter-high "Crescent Pavilion" that combines Chinese and Western styles, the "Guanlan Pavilion" standing on the cliff, and a corridor about a kilometer long.
Crescent Beach is not only a natural bathing beach, but also a rare gravel beach in the country, with colorful boulders everywhere.
This place can be described as a pearly and glittering world of spherical rocks. The entire beach is paved with pearls and agates, making people linger.

The most famous thing here is the spherical stone. The spherical stone is indeed very beautiful, but I found that when the water on the surface of the spherical stone evaporates, it becomes an extremely ordinary stone. It looks particularly crystal clear in the water. There are many people only at the entrance of Crescent Bay. They should all be tourists on a day trip. My partner and I walked in and found a place with few people. We sat down and quietly enjoyed the scenery. This sea is quite peaceful and the sea water is particularly clear. The spherical stone is bright and dazzling in the sunlight after being washed by water. We sat by the Crescent Bay for a whole morning. I sighed that if there is a next time, I must bring a book. There is a pavilion on a small hill deep in the park. After going up, you can overlook the entire Crescent Bay. It is beautiful! ~

Crescent Bay Park is located in the northeast of Beichangshan Island. It is famous for the round pebbles and boulders on the beach. There are regular seal shows here, and you can also feed them, but it costs money. It is a good place to watch the sunrise.

By Taishada |

A bay shaped like a full moon, very beautiful

By Lenka |

The waves during the day are very suitable for taking photos. It should be said that every place in Long Island is particularly suitable for taking photos, and every photo is a blockbuster.

By Changdao Haoke Fisherman's Homestay |

The Crescent Bay in Changdao has a clean and beautiful pebble beach, which is perfect for swimming. The nearby fishing house is economical and affordable, and super-large Spanish mackerel dumplings are waiting for you!

By Swirling Water |

Crescent Bay requires a ticket. It is a well-known bathing beach on the island and can be viewed from a distance.

This is a gravel beach, unlike many beaches I have seen before, which are all fine sand. Here are small stones, colorful small stones that have been polished by the sea water without edges and corners. This foot massage function is very good. There are not many people on the beach in the off-season, only one or two anglers.

By Weird snail |

The beach is full of pebbles. I can't help but want to bring one back. Hahahahaha

By Dalu World |

In addition to being a natural bathing beach, Crescent Bay Beach is also a rare gravel beach in China, with colorful boulders everywhere. "White as jade, crystal clear as amber", Qi Gong wrote a poem for it: "A crescent moon is reflected on the beach, the water is clear and the mountains are green, which is unique in the world. The fairyland does not need to be outside the material world, and tourists step on pearls step by step."

By Yu Chao |

It is a very suitable place for children to play, and adults can also have a lot of fun.

By LV |

The stones in Crescent Bay are very unique, and you can secretly pick some up and take them away.

By Peppa Pig likes to play rough |

There is no beach in Changdao because of the strong impact of the sea, but it does not prevent the cleanest and most beautiful pebble beach I have seen - Crescent Bay. This place is very suitable for bringing children or friends with a childlike heart! There are free seal shows, cute stones, and some sea recreation projects.

Only the stone viewing telescope can see nothing

By s_There is a rainbow in the East China Sea |

The water is really clear and beautiful! The stones are hard on the feet, but they are very comfortable to step on.

By Boerniu |

I originally wanted to walk along the Rainbow Road to Crescent Bay. The two attractions are connected. I was afraid that I didn't have enough time, so I took a sightseeing bus (15/person). The experience was very good. I felt the sea breeze and the sea view, and I didn't feel tired. The driver of the sightseeing bus said that Crescent Bay was named by General Peng Dehuai. The water is very clear. In summer, there is a famous scenic spot - dumplings. When I got off the bus, it was true. Then my boyfriend and I couldn't wait to join the dumplings queue.

Lockers, changing rooms and showers are all charged here, showers are 20/person and lockers are 10/person.

By Xiao Zhai |

My favorite is the boulders in Crescent Bay. As for swimming, due to the wind and waves, the entire beach staff kept shouting that we couldn’t go into the water. This was probably the most regrettable thing for the children on this trip!

But the adults were just like treasure hunters, searching for the stone they liked. They were full of rewards, but also felt a heavy burden. Fortunately, we had a bus to follow us the whole time, so the burden was only a secret joy.

By Rice Grains |

It's a stone beach. The water is still crystal clear even with small stones.

By Happiness Road |

Very clear and beautiful. The baby especially likes the washed stones. The scenic spot may have just been developed. The rocks on the right are still very dangerous.

By summer |

Don't come!!! Don't come!!! You will definitely be disappointed. The beach is not soft and fine sand but rocks that hurt your feet. Secondly, a section of the seaside was fenced off to make a tourist attraction. The seal show is very low-end, with only a few seals and the show lasts only fifteen minutes. You have to pay to sit under the umbrella. Anyway, this attraction is extremely low-end. Speechless. The entire Changdao County is not fun. We couldn't get a taxi when we came back after playing in the Nine Cliffs. Two girls paid 260 yuan for a taxi, and they only went to four attractions. The driver didn't follow you the whole time, he would go to other places to pick up passengers, so sometimes you have to wait for the driver to pick you up after sending others. It's a rip-off! ⚠️It's all people with their children during the summer vacation!!! It's full of people! Picture 1 is the entire attraction.

I came all the way to Changdao, and I feel really disappointed. First of all, the facilities on the island are really shabby, it's gray everywhere, and there's nothing to see at the scenic spot. Although the sea water is quite clear, there are no supporting facilities. There are large areas of weeds as soon as you enter the door. The management is poor. The tickets are quite expensive. The 180 package is not worth it at all. Moon Bay is just a crowded bathhouse. Secondly, there are rip-offs on the island. Taxis don't use meters. The famous homestay introduced a fixed price for chartered cars. I went to Linhai, which is a little far away, and paid for the scenic area battery car to the next stop. The driver ran off to pick up other jobs on the way, so I went back and waited at the door for more than 40 minutes. The famous homestay Yujiale forced the meal and accommodation package. I wanted to try other restaurants but there was no choice... In short, I was very disappointed and will never come again. With this time and money, it's better to go to Southeast Asia, where the beaches are beautiful and star-rated hotels are affordable.

By Yu Yan |

It's a bit painful to the feet, but I've never seen a beach with round stones without sand, which is only smoothed by sea water. The whole coastline is full of round stones, which is too beautiful for stone lovers. You can play for half a day just picking up stones. The seal house and feeding seals are not attractive to me at all this time. The seawater is not polluted very much, which is the cleaner inland sea I have ever seen! The water is a little cold today, but I forgot about it when I was playing.

By Asakawa Chacha |

Crescent Bay is a bit of a bummer. If you are short on time, you don't have to go. It's just a bathing place, but it's messy and not big. We sat there for a while, bought an ice cream and left. But on the way there, we saw the blue sea in the distance.

By Huan Xinyan |

The sea is so beautiful when the weather is clear and cloudless. There is no need for any photo editing. The beach is made up of crystal clear pebbles, colorful, and shining with aura under the sun. It is also a beautiful scenery! There is a small seal park inside, where children can feed seals fish up close!

By rabbit tiger beast |

The spherical stones here are the highlight. Each one is crystal clear and looks very beautiful. Forgive me for not being able to resist and picking up 2 of them.

By K |

Located at the northernmost end of Beichangshan Island, it is the essence of Changdao's attractions. Everyone who has been here praises it very much. This is not a beach, but is made up of countless boulders. This kind of beach is unique in China. The boulders are not ordinary boulders. Each one is colorful and crystal clear, as beautiful as rain flower stones. The whole beach is like a pearl agate, which makes you linger! It looks good, but don't take it home. If you walk on it barefoot, you can also massage your feet, which is no worse than a professional foot massage.

By Spread your wings |

Crescent Bay, as soon as you enter, you will see a lot of people crowded together. It turns out that this is the place where you can feed dolphins and take photos with them. Of course, it is a paid place, 30 yuan per person. After that, you will see the Crescent Bay Geopark, which feels similar to an ordinary beach.

By Little Deer Dudu |

Crescent Bay gives me the feeling that the water is extremely clear, the boulders on the coast are particularly beautiful, and most importantly, there are few people! It is really comfortable!

By Also Qing Huan |

Crescent Bay is a seawater bathing pool. Maybe it was the off-season when I went there, so there were very few people. Compared to the crowds in Qingdao, I prefer this place. The bathing pool is more natural, and there are many interesting boulders.

By Mom loves traveling |

The most charming place here is the pebbles, where you can pick up small stones and feel the tranquility away from the noisy life.

By Zhen Qianbo |

Its beach is full of pebbles, and the stone particles are uniform. Remember to bring slippers, otherwise you will experience the feeling of the running man's middle finger pressing the board.

By China-TravelNote users |

I like it very much. For a family of three who like stones, it is simply a paradise. It is so unique. Jiuzhang Cliff is a bit tiring, but Crescent Bay is a place to completely relax. Looking at the pebbles and spherical stones washed by sea water all year round, I feel really good. I must recommend it. If you can go to the sea after July, it is also very good.

By Mrs. Gong. |

We didn't go to Crescent Bay. The locals said it was boring and recommended us to go to other beaches. They were beautiful.

By China-TravelNote user 93131283 |

The crescent-shaped seashore and the unique stones on the beach are all so lovely and beautiful that one can't help but marvel at the ingenuity of nature.

By Small whale |

We saw the foam of the sea. Maybe it was because the weather was too cold, so there weren’t too many people there. We just took a quick look and then went back to the hotel.

By warmth |

We thought we were not too late, but the line for buying tickets at the entrance was already very long. There were only two ticket counters, and more and more tourists were coming. We waited for an hour before we could buy tickets. With our student ID in hand, we purchased tickets for the entire North and South Islands.

By Playing around |

Crescent Bay is located in the northern part of Beichangshan Island. It is a pebble beach with unique features. It is far away from the crowded entrance of the scenic area. You can walk on the pebble beach, take a break, play in the water, and look at the sea. The sightseeing experience is great. The happiest thing about this trip to Changdao was the Crescent Bay.

By Go your own way |

Crescent Bay, also known as Half Moon Bay, is built along the 2,000-meter Crescent Beach, and looks like a crescent moon. The main buildings in the park are a 20-meter-high "Crescent Pavilion" that combines Chinese and Western styles, a "Guanlan Pavilion" standing on the cliff, and a long corridor about a kilometer long. In addition, in front of the corridor, there is a 100-meter "stone carpet" decorated with stone balls, which gives you a feeling of "stepping on pearls". The most charming are the white and amber-like Crescent Bay spherical stones. This is simply a world of jeweled spherical stones. Pick up any stone, and you will be reluctant to throw it away because of its beauty and crystal clearness. The Crescent Bay Scenic Area is connected to Jiuzhang Cliff. Jiuzhang Cliff has a battery car waiting for the Crescent Bay Scenic Area. Tourists who have bought tickets for the two scenic spots can take the battery car to the Crescent Bay Scenic Area. The battery car ticket price is 15 yuan.

By The wind is blowing |

It's OK, just walk around, it's good when the weather is good

By Bee-eater |

The scenery is nice, but the management is poor and the beach is too dirty!

By Chang Xiake |

Changdao is the only island county in Shandong Province, located at the junction of the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea. Famous attractions include Crescent Bay, Jiuzhang Cliff, etc. After the National Day holiday, the tourists on Changdao seemed to have disappeared all of a sudden, but there were many students who came here to sketch. With fewer tourists, the price of chartered cars has become more reasonable. The island tour only costs 120 yuan, which is good value for money. The first stop we visited was Crescent Bay. The weather was a bit cold, and the seals were unwilling to perform, but there was no problem feeding them.

By Strolling in the Garden |

Crescent Bay is located at the northernmost tip of Beichangshan Island. The beach here is not sand, but pebbles of various shapes, "white as jade, crystal clear as amber". Because of this, the scenic spot has repeatedly played warnings: Do not take away! Tickets include a 15-minute seal show

Take bus No. 2 to Songqian Village where Crescent Moon Bay is located, get off and walk back 500 meters to the gate of the scenic area.

By Yang Yingxiong |

This is a relatively large tourist attraction. Next to it is the East Fort and next to it is Fisherman’s Wharf, both of which are very close.

By June Lotus |

We came here early in the morning. There were few people. The beach was crescent-shaped and the sea was lapping against the shore.

By zhm_jinan |

The fame is greater than the landscape. Apart from the famous ball rock, the others are average. The key is that the ball rock can also be found in other places on Changdao Island.

By YingyingL |

It's beautiful. In fact, you can enter from the other side without tickets.

By Fengzhu Mingxuan |

I feel that Crescent Bay is the most romantic place in Long Island!

The characteristic here is the pebbles of all sizes on the beach. It is more like a stone beach than a beach. After thousands of years of scouring and polishing, the pebbles are crystal clear. Walking on them barefoot, you can feel the tenacity of each pebbles. Lying on them, letting the pebbles massage your back, and taking a nap accompanied by the sound of waves, is really a life enjoyment.

By Sakura meow |

The clearest sea water I have ever seen, all the pebbles washed by the sea water are crystal clear! The children are having a lot of fun! There are also small fish swimming in the water! ! ! There are ships in the distance, the scenery is beautiful

By Walking |

It's average, not very big. Look at the boulders. The sea water is quite clean. But the scenery I saw in other places in Long Island is also like this~

By jack |

Since we are in Long Island, I still recommend going to Crescent Bay to enjoy the beautiful beach. There are many boulders, which are very beautiful and a masterpiece of nature, but you can't take them away. There are few people in the morning or evening, it is very quiet and pleasant.

By Gui Xiaorui |

Wangfu Reef is now closed for maintenance. Therefore, there are only 5 attractions in total.

North Route: Jiuzhang Cliff, Crescent Bay, Fairyland Source

South Route: Sea of Forests and Beacon Hills, Sending the Source of Fairyland

Tickets purchased one day in advance on Dianping cost ¥144. Tickets purchased at B&Bs cost ¥160. All tickets are real-name registered, and personal information such as ID cards are required.

Stop 3: Crescent Bay

It's super boring for adults, but it's heaven for children.

In fact, there is nothing to play here. It's just a bay on the seashore, hence the name Crescent Bay. People come here mainly for swimming, but it rains and there's no water, so people just throw stones on the beach and watch the ebb and flow of the tide. The children don't even leave.

There are also paid services for feeding turtles and seals and taking photos with them.

By Laoshan Stone |

It is on the west side of the East Fort ruins on the Yantai coast. Unfortunately, I only took one photo during my short stay.

By China-TravelNote users |

The ticket was 80 yuan, and after entering, I found that it was no different from the free bathing beach in Dalian. It was such a rip-off. I took a taxi from the port to the scenic spot on the island for 16 yuan and it cost 25 yuan. The beach was particularly painful, and there were no attractions in the scenic area, only painful stones. To be honest, the water quality was OK! That's it, it would be a pity if you don't come, and it would be even more regretful if you come! It's not worth it! I hope more people will know about it so that they won't be fooled!

By Li Youfu |

Crescent Bay, as the name suggests, has a crescent-shaped coastline. The characteristic of Crescent Bay is the spherical stones, which are washed into round and smooth shapes by the sea water. Under the infiltration of sea water, the small stones appear crystal clear and beautiful. Spherical stones are national protected resources, so they are not allowed to be taken out of the island. But then again, the small stones are not so beautiful after drying, so beautiful things should be placed in beautiful places, not for personal use.

By Mushroom girl does not have the beauty of a city or a country |

The tour guide took me there and we walked around for a while and then came out. The scenery was pleasant. It was hot when I went there. I went there in the afternoon to see the sunset. It was just near dusk. There was a lover's bridge to take pictures.

By Xiaoqing |

It is definitely not fun when there are too many people. If you can get up early enough and it is a good day, you can have some fun. The pebbles there are really soft. Once you step on them, they collapse and become a bend of sea with clear water.

By Zeng Xiaojing's Peach Blossom Spring |

The beach is full of pebbles, very clean, and beautiful no matter how you take photos. The water is very clean and clear. You can see the panoramic view of Crescent Bay. There are reefs where you can take beautiful photos.

By Cat who doesn't like to wash his face |

This is a paradise for children. It is a pebble beach that won't scratch your feet, and the pebble stones are very beautiful. But the most important thing is that you can take your children to find starfish. Go to the far right where there are fewer people, and then look carefully on the beach. You can really find live starfish!

By Just love to play |

Crescent Bay is located in the north of Beichangshan Island. It is named because the shape of the beach is like a crescent. Crescent Bay is a small and ordinary beach. There are not many people coming here unless it is swimming season. We took a group photo on the mountain and left. There is also a seal garden in Crescent Bay, which raises the only seal here, the spotted seal. I didn't go there. From March to mid-May every year on Changdao Island, the spotted seals will come to the seal reef to reproduce. At that time, you can see wild spotted seals when you take a sea tour.

By Fanfan |

The long coastline, gentle sea breeze, cheerful seals and Crescent Bay are all fascinating places to visit.

By Shrimp and Mushroom |

It's just a pebble beach, nothing interesting, but the stones are prettier than other places. There is a small market selling small things, which are basically sold in bulk from outside, without any local characteristics.

There are snacks for sale further in, such as roasted bird eggs, potato cakes and roasted fish and squid. You can try them.

By Xiao Xin loves sunshine |

Crescent Bay is indeed very beautiful. Under the caress of sunlight and sea water, the naturally formed spherical rocks in Crescent Bay are also very crystal clear.

It's very beautiful, but I recommend you go in June or July so you can go barefoot in the sea or play barefoot on the beach.

By Have fun traveling |

Under the guidance of the owner of the fishing house, we decided to try to sneak into Moon Bay Park. The specific smuggling point was next to XX Villa (I really can't remember the name). There was a high slope of land where the car could be parked and people could walk down the unfinished dirt road. When walking down that small dirt road, you must pay attention to safety, as there are many bulldozers working there. Below is the roundabout slow-moving system under construction. Let's try to see if we can sneak into Moon Bay Park.

We went down to the bottom of the slope smoothly, and there was a beach at the bottom of the slope. Although it was not a sandy beach, it was more pristine. In the distance, in the misty sea, there was a small island, which gave people the feeling of "there is a fairy mountain on the sea".

Walk along the stone beach towards the Moon Bay Park. After passing a slightly steep reef, you will reach the outskirts of Moon Bay Park.

But, but, but, at least during the National Day holiday, there is a loyal uncle on the outer levee. As long as you approach Moon Bay, he will use a loud speaker to announce: "This is Moon Bay Park, please buy a ticket to enter! This is Moon Bay Park, please buy a ticket to enter!"

The Moon Bay infiltration plan failed.

By Amy King |

The beach here is all pebbled, which is very different from the sandy beach. The water is very deep, and it is up to your chest after you walk out for about ten meters.

By Little bird |

It should be a good place for swimming, but unfortunately we came at the wrong season. However, the pebble beach is very unique.

By Li Xiaonv |

You can go to the sea in Crescent Bay Park. It is a pebble beach, but it won't scratch you at all. PS. The pebble is very rare, so don't pick it up and take it home! The scenery is very beautiful.

Crescent Bay is worth a visit. The big waves wash away the sand and grind out small stones of various shapes. People are busy walking on the waves and picking up colored stones on the beach. You can also see dolphin performances and very realistic 3D paintings. It is really worth a visit.

Moon Bay is located in Zhifu District, Yantai, with surrounding attractions including the Seaside Square, Yantai Mountain, the Pier, the First Bathing Beach, Fisherman's Wharf, East Fort, Yellow Sea Amusement Park, Yantai University, etc.

A beautiful bay, full of boulders, not sure how it would be for swimming in warmer weather. Very little sand

By 123 worldwide |

As the name suggests, it is a crescent-shaped bay. What attracts people is the clear water and the smooth and clean pebbles. Because I like them, I am more worried that they will be picked up and taken away one day. Friends who want to go there must control themselves, you can only look but not take them away.
