Daming Lake is located in the northeast of the city center of Jinan, Shandong Province, and the north of the old city. It is formed by the confluence of many springs in Jinan. The lake surface is 58 hectares, the park area is 103.4 hectares, the average water depth is about 2 meters, and the deepest is 4.5 meters. It is a rare natural lake in the bustling city. It is known as the three major scenic spots in Jinan together with Baotu Spring and Thousand Buddha Mountain. It is also an important scenic spot, open window and world-famous tourist destination in Jinan, the City of Springs. It is known as the "Pearl of the City of Springs".

Daming Lake has beautiful scenery and clear blue water. It is one of the core components of the Tianxia Diyiquan Scenic Area, a national 5A-level tourist attraction.

I remember that at that time Yutong particularly liked to say to a friend, "Sister Xue, do you still remember little Yutong by the Daming Lake?" In fact, Yutong didn't have many feelings about Daming Lake. At that time, it was because Yutong's best friend wanted to go there, so we decided to visit the three major scenic spots in Jinan. Daming Lake is very big. The specific feeling is that it is a beautiful big garden. I don't have any special feelings about how beautiful it is, but it is a very suitable place to take pictures, and the photos taken are very beautiful... As for others, I like Thousand Buddha Mountain more among the three major scenic spots in Jinan. The four stars are completely because the photos taken are very beautiful... When I saw the three words "Daming Lake", like most people, the sentence that immediately popped up in my mind was: "Your Majesty, do you still remember Xia Yuhe by the Daming Lake?" For this sentence, you have to go to Daming Lake to find Xia Yuhe. Suggestions for playing: There are more buildings and attractions on the east side of the entire Daming Lake. If you don't have enough time, just start playing from the east side of the lake. A little baby in red stood by the lake and watched boating on the lake. In summer, Daming Lake is surrounded by weeping willows, and the lotus leaves in the lake are connected. It is even more spectacular when the lotus blooms. I also heard that the snow scene of Daming Lake is very beautiful, but I didn't catch up with the summer lotus, nor did I catch up with the winter snow. Since the youth hostel we stayed in was very close to Daming Lake, we went to Daming Lake for a stroll on the first night and the second day. The bleak winter does not affect the night view of Daming Lake at all. Since there are fewer people in winter, it is more suitable for walking and chatting. The old man and I walked around the lake. There were few people on the road, so we could enjoy the scenery and have fun. It was the best feeling to be with friends.

In fact, Daming Lake, Baotu Spring, Wulongtan, and Quancheng Square are all together. If you want to find a place to stay, just look for one near Baotu Spring. I stayed at the Yihe Hotel near Baotu Spring, but I didn’t expect that the Internet celebrity restaurant "Caobao Baozi Shop" was right next to it.

Just before and after the lights were turned off, the hustle and bustle of the day faded away and the banks of Daming Lake seemed exceptionally peaceful.

The air after the rain is filled with the fragrance of grass and trees, and taking a deep breath makes you feel comfortable. As far as the eye can see, tall willow trees with long green branches hanging down surround the lake, as if the whole body is surrounded by oxygen, and you can't help but sigh that the people of Quancheng are really happy.

I got up early the next day. Most of the people by the Daming Lake were locals doing fitness exercises. There was a drizzle in the sky and the grass and trees were greener.

After midsummer, the lotus flowers by the lake have faded, with only a few flowers remaining in a few places. One can't help but imagine the beautiful scene of lotus flowers blooming with leaves connecting the sky.

My mother and I walked east from the southwest gate to enter the new scenic area, and the scenery of Daming Lake slowly came into view.

Daming Lake is formed by the confluence of various springs, flowing out of Xiaoqing River into Bohai Sea. The park is dotted with pavilions, winding paths and corridors, and the calligraphy of literati. Among them, the couplet of Liu Fenggao of the Qing Dynasty is particularly praised: lotus flowers on four sides, willows on three sides, mountains in one city and lakes in half of the city.

Along the lake, there are pavilions, terraces, waterside pavilions and long corridors. The Lixia Pavilion, located on the island in the middle of the lake, has a plaque with the words "Lixia Pavilion" written by Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty. The couplet in front of the pavilion is a poem by Du Fu: This pavilion on the right side of the sea is ancient, and there are many famous people in Jinan. Xin Qiji (May 28, 1140 - October 3, 1207) was from Licheng County, Jinan Prefecture, Shandong East Road. I like Xin Qiji's "Ugly Slave": When I was young, I didn't know the taste of sorrow, and I loved the upper floors. I loved the upper floors, and I forced myself to say sorrow in order to write new poems. Now I know the taste of sorrow, and I want to say it but I don't. I want to say it but I don't, but I say that the cool weather is a good autumn.

The water of Daming Lake comes from the Pearl Spring, Zhuoying Spring, Wangfu Pond and other springs in the city. It is said that "many springs converge". The water is clear, the sky is bright and the clouds are shadowy, and fish can be seen swimming. Daming Lake has sufficient water sources and convenient drainage, so it has the advantages of "no rise in constant rain and no dryness in long drought", and the water level is constant all year round. The average water depth is about two meters, the deepest is about four meters, and about one meter along the lakeshore. Surrounding the lake are more than 800 weeping willows, with soft branches hanging green and gracefully touching the water. There are more than 40 acres of lotus ponds in the lake, with green leaves, white lotus and red lotus, complementing each other, competing for beauty, and the fragrance of lotus is overflowing, refreshing. On the sparkling lake, fish jump in the waves from time to time, and kites are occasionally seen skimming the water. On the blue waves, painted boats pass through and small boats swing on the waves. Tourists from all over the world gather, pointing and watching, laughing and talking, a prosperous scene, just like the south of the Yangtze River in the north.

The eight scenic spots of Jinan, namely, the Mist and Rain of Quehua, the Evening Glow of Huibo, the Reflection of Foshan and the Autumn Moon of Minghu, can all be viewed from the lake. Daming Lake has won praises from many people from ancient times to the present for its beautiful scenery: "It floats on the ice in winter, the lotus waves in summer, the reeds and snow in autumn, and the willow smoke in spring. Rowing in it is like traveling in a fragrant country."

Daming Lake was officially built as a park in 1958. After dredging, repair and expansion, the lakeshore was built, the park was beautified, the scenic spots and historical sites were restored and rebuilt, and teahouses, restaurants, cruise ships and amusement facilities were added, making it look new and more beautiful than before, becoming one of the famous scenic spots in Jinan. Daming Lake is not only an excellent place for rest and sightseeing, but also rich in lotus roots and lake fish. The Park Hotel is good at cooking famous dishes with Lixia flavor, such as "full fish banquet, rock sugar lotus seeds, crystal lotus roots, and cattail dumplings" made with fresh fish, tender lotus roots and fragrant lotus from the lake.

After a few days of intermittent drizzle, it finally stopped this afternoon. The driver told me that Daming Lake is the most beautiful after the rain. It is late autumn, and large patches of lotus leaves on the water surface have turned yellow. In addition, the sky is gloomy, and there is no color on the water surface, which looks quite gloomy. Occasionally, a fish will jump out of the water, with a splash, bringing a little life to the quiet water surface. The surrounding trees, on the other hand, become colorful in autumn, or match the small bridges and flowing water, or match the flying ridges of the corridors, which are very layered and make people always want to raise their cameras. When we arrived at the Buddha's Light Reflection, the sunlight tried hard to squeeze through the gaps in the layers of clouds, and a faint orange color and a faint light shining from the clouds appeared in the sky. Although this is not the "Buddha's Light", it is enough to show that tomorrow will be a good day. After the Buddha's reflection, it was as if we had passed a barrier, and the scenery ahead became a little more cheerful. The "Summer Rain Lotus" surrounded by colorful flowers, the Beiji Pavilion on the high stone steps, and the abandoned and revived Chaoran Building, all looked lively under the blue sky and green willows. Because I brought my children with me, I could only take a quick look at the scenery and did not pay attention to the cultural atmosphere of Daming Lake. I left this little regret behind, and I will make up for it together with the lotus ponds when I come next time.

There is no entrance fee to Daming Lake, you can go in directly. But we couldn't walk anymore, so we bought a boat ticket directly after entering the gate. The boat took us to the small island in the center of the lake. 10 yuan/person.

There are some small shops on the island, selling some food and some souvenirs, and you can rent clothes for taking photos. There are actually many directions to go on the island, including going to the underwater world and the amusement park or going to the Arctic Pavilion. You can go to different places by queuing up at different locations to get on the boat. We chose to go back to the gate and continue to stroll. There are many small cruise ships on the lake, the kind that you drive yourself. We envied them for a long time and decided to take a ride, but when we arrived, there were no boats.

Walking along the shore of Daming Lake, you can travel through time and space, experience the ancient cultural charm and enjoy the poetic and picturesque scenery. There are not only "Summer Rain Lotus", but also a gathering of humanities by the Daming Lake. The Jiaxuan Temple, built to commemorate Xin Qiji, one of the "Two Ans" in Jinan, is located on the south bank of Daming Lake. The "Two Ans" Li Qingzhao and Xin Qiji, an outstanding representative of the graceful school and a master of the bold school, complement each other in the city of Jinan. In Xin Qiji's writing, there are both the soul-stirring "Thinking of the days of iron cavalry, with their fierceness swallowing thousands of miles like tigers", and the lingering and affectionate "I searched for him among the crowd for hundreds of times, but when I turned around, he was standing in the dim lights". The great poet of the bold and unrestrained school also has his delicate and lingering side.

This kind of large park should have low or even no admission fee, which can not only attract tourists but also provide a place for local people to rest. It is really inhumane to charge hundreds of dollars for admission to parks like Suzhou's West Lake.

In addition to Daming Lake, Heihu Spring is also a good place to go. You can fly to Jiefang Pavilion from here, which is also a highlight of the Spring City.

At the end of Qushuiting Street is Daming Lake, which is known as "one pavilion, three gardens, three floors, four ancestral halls, six islands, seven bridges and ten pavilions". There are 16 famous scenes of Daming Lake to appreciate, but everyone seems to be more impressed by Xia Yuhe's story.

This attraction is very large. If you want to walk all the way, it is recommended to spend at least one day. We spent half a day there. Entering from the north gate, we played half of the lake. After exiting, we went to Qushuiting Street. In between, there are pavilions, terraces, towers, and pavilions of various colors. The distant mountains and nearby waters blend into the clear sky, like a huge colorful painting.

Daming Lake is a classic old scenic spot in Jinan. It has changed with the times over the years. It is said that in the early 1990s, it was a little old, but very charming. Later, it became too commercialized and not enjoyable to visit.



Now, Daming Lake Park has been changed to a fully open park, with more standardized management, and the scenic area is clean and beautiful. It feels worthwhile to come here. It takes about 2-3 hours. The night view is good, and you can take a walk at night. It is quite a distance to walk around the lake.

I went there in April 2013. The scenery was average, just a large lake in the city. It was mainly because it was famous, and everyone was looking for Xia Yuhe.

We just took a quick look at the lake and left. Of course, if you have the leisure time, you can also pay to take a boat tour of the entire Daming Lake.

Speaking of Daming Lake, Qiong Yao has added a lot of color to it. It is famous in Jinan and has become famous throughout the country. Daming Lake is not as good as Kunming Lake in Beijing and West Lake in Hangzhou, but it has more heritage than other city lakes. It is located in the center of Jinan City and is indeed a good place to escape the summer heat and stroll around.

Came here for Xia Yuhe by Daming Lake. It was hot. No tickets needed. I went in to see the lake and left decisively.

It integrates water scenery, garden landscape and ancient buildings and is known as "China's No. 1 Spring Lake".

Because Xia Ziwei from the role of My Fair Princess came from Daming Lake, this place has become famous. But to be honest, Jinan is more fun than Tai'an, and there are more delicious foods, haha. At Daming Lake, the three of us spent a pleasant afternoon, eating, drinking, and strolling. We also took beautiful photos in ancient costumes.

There are too few tourists. For 20 yuan, you can realize your dream of chartering a boat to cruise the lake. You can see at least three places where you can cruise, but the routes are different. There are fishing boats that can go to the island in the middle of the lake.

The small amusement park in Daming Lake, I felt like vomiting after less than 5 laps~ I can't afford it

The park is quite large but you can walk if you are physically fit. I don't recommend taking a cruise because it's just a circle. There's nothing to see from the lake to the shore. The battery car is not suitable either. The view along the way is good.

It's a bit like Houhai and Qianhai in Beijing, but it's a bit cold in winter, but the scenery is still good.

The lake is quite large, especially the island in the middle of the lake is worth a visit.

Seeing this Daming Lake, I really want to say, "Your Majesty, do you still remember Xia Yuhe from Daming Lake?"

The park does not charge admission. The air in the park is very good. The lotus in the pond, the old man practicing Tai Chi on the ground, and the green everywhere make the whole park peaceful and comfortable.

If you are a young person, it is a good idea to check in at the park, but the park mainly has natural scenery, so you can choose to walk for a while and feel it~

It was my first time to Daming Lake, but unfortunately I didn’t find Xia Yuhe.

There is a longevity willow tree on Lixia Island that is over 170 years old. I hope my mother can live a long and healthy life.

Do you still remember Xia Yuhe by the Daming Lake? After seeing the picturesque Daming Lake, you can go to Furong Street not far away to take a walk. After the expansion of the new Daming Lake scenic area was completed in 2009, eight new scenic spots were added: Jiaxuan Leisurely Charm, Seven Bridges Wind and Moon, Autumn Willows with Mist, Mingchang Morning Bell, Zhugang Breeze, Chaoran Zhiyuan, Zengdi Lingering Water, and Birds Singing in the Green Shade. The old Daming Lake has disappeared and only exists in poetry books or old photos, so many of the old scenes can no longer be seen.

The most beautiful thing about Daming Lake at this time of year is the weeping willows, the winding paths and rainbow bridges, the sparse flowers and trees, and the looming bridge platforms and pavilions, just like the south of the Yangtze River in the north. It is said that there are more than 50 bridges in the entire Daming Lake scenic area, which is not easy in the north and may be unique. No wonder so many literati and poets praised its beauty. You can only appreciate its beauty by walking slowly and carefully, and it takes at least 3 hours to walk around.

I was recommended Daming Lake by Huanzhu Gege. I recommend it. The lake is very big, so there are not many people. It is good to take a leisurely walk on a good day. You can also take a boat on the lake for a while.

Daming Lake is really big. I only walked half of it and it took me 2 hours. I suggest you take a boat first and then walk back. The variety of lotus in the lake seems to be different from those in our south. They are white and transparent. Mmm, they feel pure and clean!

In 2010, during the Qingming Festival, I went to Jinan, Shandong, Qufu for my first outdoor long-distance activity. I didn't have to pay for the entrance fee, but I was fooled into paying. What a sight!

After visiting Baotu Spring, you can cross the road from the north gate of the scenic area to Wulongtan Park. After visiting Wulongtan Park, walk north along the moat from the east gate for about 15 minutes to reach the southwest gate of Daming Lake. Daming Lake is now open to the public for free. You can take a tour bus for 30 yuan per person to go around the lake without stopping and return to the place where you get on the bus. If you have enough time and good physical strength, there is no need to do it. You can choose to walk to complete the tour, which is better than taking a car tour. At least you can take good photos as a souvenir.

I believe that many people, like me, know Daming Lake because of the TV series "My Fair Princess", where Emperor Qianlong picked up girls in the play.

The breeze was blowing, the willows were swaying, and it was really comfortable to lean on the railings beside the lake. The only drawback was that I couldn't see the blooming lotus. Daming Lake is really big. I felt a little tired after walking a quarter of the way. I wanted to take a cruise, but there were too many people queuing, so I chose a sightseeing bus. The sightseeing bus was cheaper than the cruise, 30 yuan per person for the sightseeing bus and 100 yuan per person for the cruise. The only bad thing was that there were people on the railings and on the road, and the scenery in the lake was half blocked, so I could only see it roughly. To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the real Daming Lake because I didn't meet Xia Yuhe or Rong Mama.

Daming Lake has beautiful scenery, with kites flying and fish leaping on the lake, lotus flowers filling the pond, pleasure boats sailing through, willow trees and blooming flowers lining the shore, and tourists flocking in. Across the street from Qushuiting is Daming Lake. Apart from the lotus leaves taller than people and the sparse lotus flowers, there is nothing else to see.
