Penglai Pavilion is known as one of the four famous towers in China along with Yellow Crane Tower, Yueyang Tower and Tengwang Pavilion.
Known as the "fairyland on earth", the widely circulated myth of "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea" originated from here.
Penglai Pavilion is located by the sea and is surrounded by clouds and mist all year round, making you feel like you are in a fairyland. If you are lucky, you can even see a "mirage".
In addition to Penglai Pavilion, Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area also includes Tianheng Mountain, Dengzhou Museum, Ancient Ship Museum, and the Yellow Sea-Bohai Sea Dividing Line.
From the top of the mountain, you can see the junction of the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea. The boundary between the yellow and blue waters is very obvious, and you can also see Changdao Island in the middle of the sea.

It still retains its original appearance of the Northern Song Dynasty. It is famous for the legend of "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea" and the wonder of "Mirage". It is known as one of the "Four Famous Towers in China" along with Yueyang Tower, Tengwang Pavilion and Yellow Crane Tower. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit.
Penglai Pavilion, ticket price is 100 yuan.
The play time is 3-4 hours.
The main building of Penglai Pavilion is actually very small, and one hour is definitely enough. However, due to the "expansion" of the scenic spot, the time has been greatly increased.
The main scenic area of Penglai Pavilion, apart from the main building of Penglai Pavilion, there are not many attractions. You can visit the Ancient Ship Museum, but it is not as shocking as you might imagine. (The ship is not big)
Tianheng Mountain Scenic Area is not to be missed. It is the boundary between the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea: the line between Laotie Mountain in Lushun, Liaoning and Tianheng Mountain in Penglai, Shandong. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk from Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area to Tianheng Mountain Scenic Area. Of course, you can also take the cross-sea cableway.
The Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area is relatively large, with the Penglai Beach (free) next to it. The core scenic areas include the Penglai Pavilion Ancient Buildings Complex (charged), Tianheng Mountain Scenic Area (charged), Penglai Water City (free), Dengzhou Museum, etc.
You can't see the mirage when you go to Penglai Pavilion, nor can you encounter the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, hahaha. But the scenery is good, and you have to see it for the reputation of the four famous towers. It would be better if the ticket price was more affordable.
Arriving in Penglai is like being in heaven... In the perfect weather, I appreciated the unique and natural beauty of the fairyland of Penglai Pavilion. It's a pity that the Tianheng Mountain plank road was closed due to the danger of falling rocks. It was a pity that I didn't feel the echo of the plank road and the sea on the edge of the cliff.
Penglai Pavilion is located in Penglai City, Yantai City, Shandong Province. It is an ancient building complex that embodies the wisdom and artistic crystallization of the ancient Chinese working people. The main building of Penglai Pavilion was built in the sixth year of Jiayou in the Song Dynasty (1061). It is known as the "fairyland on earth". Its legend of "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea" and the wonder of "Mirage" are well-known at home and abroad. Penglai Pavilion has gone through vicissitudes of life and has now developed into a scenic spot and leisure resort with ancient building complex as the central axis, Penglai Water City and Tianheng Mountain as the two wings, four cultures (immortal culture, Jingwu culture, port culture, and marine culture) as the foundation, mountain (Danya Mountain), sea (Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea), city (Penglai Water City), and pavilion (Penglai Pavilion) as the pattern, and more than 20 scenic spots such as Dengzhou Museum, Ancient Ship Museum, Tianheng Mountain, Hehai Pavilion and the boundary coordinates of the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea as embellishments, integrating natural scenery, historical sites, cultural landscapes, and leisure and entertainment.
Penglai Pavilion is located in the north of Penglai City. It was built in the Song Dynasty. Due to the terrain, mirages sometimes appear in the summer, which is a wonder. Many ancient inscriptions and plaques are preserved in the pavilion, which are very precious. There are many scenic spots around it, which is a must-see place in Penglai.
I remember that I came here twice, in middle school and after work, both of which were many years ago. The group-purchased tickets are not very discounted. It is very difficult to find this travel agency. There are actually two companies in the same group. The Tianheng Mountain Cable Car is basically unnecessary because the small mound is not high. The entire scenic area can be walked around in 2 hours. People on the beach will never miss the characteristics of the scenic area, but there are not many scenic areas that combine sea, sky, mountain and pavilion. The four famous pavilions specifically refer to Tengwang Pavilion in Nanchang, Jiangxi, Penglai Pavilion in Shandong, Foxiang Pavilion in Wanshou Mountain, and Eternal Jade Emperor Pavilion. It was built in the 6th year of Jiayou in the Northern Song Dynasty (1061 AD). It is surrounded by red cliffs and clouds. It consists of 6 monomers and ancillary buildings, including Penglai Pavilion, Tianhou Palace, Dragon King Palace, Lu Zu Hall, Sanqing Hall, and Amitabha Temple, forming a large-scale ancient building complex with an area of 18,500 square meters. It is an ancient building complex that embodies the wisdom and artistic crystallization of the ancient Han working people. It is known as the "fairyland on earth". The legend of "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea" and the wonder of "mirage" are well-known at home and abroad. Don't expect to see the boundary between the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea. Penglai Pavilion has experienced vicissitudes of life, and now it has developed into a scenic spot and leisure resort with ancient buildings as the central axis, Penglai Water City and Tianheng Mountain as the two wings, four cultures (immortal culture, Jingwu culture, port culture, marine culture) as the foundation, mountain (Danyashi Mountain), sea (Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea), city (Penglai Water City), pavilion (Penglai Pavilion) as the layout, and more than 20 scenic spots such as Dengzhou Museum, Ancient Ship Museum, Tianheng Mountain, Hehai Pavilion and the coordinates of the boundary between the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea as embellishments. It is a scenic spot and leisure resort integrating natural scenery, historical sites, cultural landscapes, leisure and entertainment.
The main building of Penglai Pavilion was built in the Song Dynasty, and it is the only one of the four famous pavilions that has not been rebuilt. I personally think that Penglai Pavilion itself is not very amazing, with only two floors. What really makes people yearn for it is that hundreds of years ago, many celebrities such as Su Shi may have looked out from the same place as you, feeling the charm of the sea and the charm of Penglai Pavilion.
In addition to Penglai Pavilion, the boundary between the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea is also worth a visit. From a distance, there is a thin white line at the boundary, but it disappears when you get closer. It is said that this is because there is a trench at the boundary. It makes people marvel at the magic of nature. There is a monument at the boundary. The photographer takes pictures for free, but it still costs 20 yuan. Don't be fooled by him.
I just visited Penglai Pavilion, which is said to be a fairyland on earth. Although I was in a hurry to see it with the tour group, I was impressed by the beautiful legend of the ancients. The beautiful scenery and the ancient pavilions were clearly outlined by the blue sea. Standing on the city wall and looking at the blue sea, I felt so comfortable.
The scenic area is quite rich in content, with both humanities and natural scenery. I personally feel that the museum inside is worth a visit. The supporting facilities in the park are also very complete, which is a trip beyond expectations.
A great attraction, the ancient buildings are worth seeing
The scenery is great, you must go there.
The attic on the seaside in Yantai has a pretty good view!
I feel that this place is quite ordinary, with only some ancient buildings, but nothing special. It is not worth going to Penglai just to see it.
Three visits to Penglai Sea without getting tired,
Without seeing the mirage, the dragon is hard to appear.
The nine-zhang-high Huangbo Cliff divides the area.
I met the flying fairy from Hegu Bridge in the cave.
The ticket for Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area is 120 yuan. People over 60 years old can enter the scenic area for free with their ID cards. The scenic area is a typical large-scale small place. It takes an hour to play around. With the ticket for the scenic area, you can visit Dengzhou Museum and Ancient Ship Museum for free. These two museums are worth seeing.
Penglai Pavilion is located at the highest point of Danya Mountain, facing south and sitting north. It is a double-story wooden structure. We climbed to the second floor and looked out at the sea. Looking at the looming sea and sky in the distance, and the gusts of sea breeze blowing, we couldn't help but feel a little excited. Only then did we realize why Penglai Pavilion is known as the "fairyland on earth".
Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area is surrounded by mountains and the sea, and is dotted with ancient buildings, full of myths and legends, and has a rebuilt coastal defense fortress. It is indeed worthy of being a national 5A-level tourist attraction. It is definitely worth a visit.
The wind was so strong that my hair was messy when I went there. It was still quite shocking to see it from a high place.
Penglai Fairyland, the word "fairyland" is not used properly. It doesn't feel like a fairyland. The 120 yuan ticket is not worth it. I regret it.
In addition to Penglai Pavilion, Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area also includes Tianheng Mountain, Dengzhou Museum, Ancient Ship Museum, the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea Dividing Line and other attractions
Penglai Pavilion has its own reasons and special advantages to be listed among the famous ancient Chinese towers - being in a fairyland, standing on the red cliffs, facing the sea, this kind of ethereal and dreamy, majestic and grand, calm and confident may not be possessed by the three famous towers in Jiangnan. Moreover, Penglai Pavilion is the only one among these famous towers that has not been rebuilt. Although it has experienced more than 900 years of wind and rain, it still stands on the top of the red cliffs, retaining the real historical relics and complete original appearance of the building. Therefore, in 1987, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued a set of commemorative stamps of "Four Famous Ancient Chinese Towers", including Penglai Pavilion, Yueyang Tower, Yellow Crane Tower, and Tengwang Pavilion, which can be regarded as an official recognition.
Penglai check-in scenic spot~~~~Penglai Beach is more recommended
A very nice seaside city with a slow pace and not crowded.
I didn't come here on a public holiday, and the whole Penglai Pavilion is very large, and it doesn't seem to be crowded. The whole scenic area is full of strong fairy colors, from the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea to the mirage. The special geographical location creates the mirage landscape. But unfortunately, we didn't see it, we just heard about it. There are many tour groups here, that is, the tour guides can be used everywhere. Penglai Pavilion is a little disappointing. It is not as good as written in the books, nor as legendary as the old people say. The murals of the "Eight Immortals" in Penglai Pavilion are vivid and full of colors. Penglai Pavilion can be visited in more than two hours. Except for Tianheng Mountain, which I don't want to go to, it is not as good as expected.
There are three gates in Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area, and the east gate is close to the beach. Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area is not big.
Surprisingly, you can bring your dog in here as long as you sign an agreement.
I originally wanted to take a cable car to the other side to see the dividing line between the two seas, but due to the large number of people and the flow rate limit, I couldn’t take it.
Penglai Pavilion stopped selling tickets at 4:30 and stopped entering at 5:30. Basically, they started clearing tourists at 6 o'clock. I was already in a tight schedule. I bought the ticket first, which cost 140 yuan, and then found a place to store my luggage, which cost 20 yuan. Then I found a place to charge my phone... Fortunately, there was a rest area at the ticket office with many charging plugs and USB ports, so I charged for about half an hour and entered the scenic area at around 4:30.
Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area, how should I put it, it doesn't seem like a place I would like. Due to time constraints, I didn't take the cable car to Tianheng Mountain, and it didn't feel particularly interesting.
The ancient building complex is worth a visit. There are family mottos of hundreds of surnames in it. My father was very satisfied with the Jin family motto he bought. This place is a tourist attraction that my father likes to visit.
Climb up to enjoy the sea view, the building is in line with the artistic conception of Penglai Fairy Island
Penglai Pavilion Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, the wind is strong and the sea is beautiful
Penglai Pavilion is a scenic spot that combines cultural and natural landscapes. For an uneducated person like me, I can only silently appreciate the beauty that nature brings me.
The scenery is nice, the ticket is worth it, but the weather is a bit hot, it's so hot... In addition, you don't have to buy tickets on the website, taxis and small travel agencies also sell them, and you don't need to book tickets in advance
You can buy tickets via WeChat at the bus station, but children's tickets still need to be purchased at the window. The bus station also sells tickets to the Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area, which is 10 yuan cheaper than the list price.
The buses depart in a continuous stream and arrive in Penglai in 1 hour and 20 minutes.
The ancient buildings have nice views, but the area is small, so it's quick to visit. It's recommended to walk to the sea side when you come out, so you can walk directly to the East Fort. Looking back at Penglai Pavilion, it's the iconic view of Penglai Pavilion on the ticket, and it's beautiful to take pictures!
Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area is very close to the city, and the transportation is very convenient. There are many buses. It is a fenced scenic area. The ticket office is very large, and there is a rest area. I booked the ticket online, but the staff didn't find it at first (it was booked too early...), but later they found it, and probably gave me a map of the scenic area to apologize, which helped me a lot as a road idiot 😅😅
The ticket price for Penglai Pavilion is not cheap. You can save 20 yuan if you buy it online, but you have to book the ticket in advance. It is a big ticket. Xcheng gave me a birthday coupon worth 30 yuan, which helped me save a lot of money.
The scenic area includes six large and small scenic areas. The recommended order of visiting is: Beiwodusi Mansion, Penglai Pavilion, Tianheng Mountain, Dengzhou Museum, Ancient Ship Museum, Sanguan Temple, which is just right for a circle (I went straight to Penglai Pavilion when I entered the door and forgot about Beiwodusi Mansion. As a result, I went back and walked a lot more distance).
They said that you need to check your ticket. When I entered the Beiwadusifu and Sanguan Temple, no one cared. If you don't have time, I suggest you only visit Penglai Pavilion, Tianheng Mountain and the Ancient Ship Museum.
No matter good or bad, you must visit Penglai Pavilion when you come to Penglai. I drove here from Tianjin with an old man and a child. I would like to tell friends who drive by themselves: choose the Penglai Pavilion cable car parking lot when navigating. It is very convenient. You get off the car on the cable car. Take the cable car to Tianheng Mountain first. It is recommended to buy a one-way cable car. It is not tiring to walk down and the scenery is also good. After going down the mountain, the small side door of Penglai Pavilion is right opposite, which can save a lot of distance.
The most famous myth of Penglai Pavilion is probably that the Eight Immortals crossed the sea here. It is said that Su Shi once visited Penglai Pavilion and wrote an article here. I really forgot the details, you can search it on Baidu...
The ancient city is very spectacular. Qi Jiguang, Tian Heng, Su Dongpo, and the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea all left their footprints here. It was cold in early July, but it was better to be able to stand it than to be exposed to the sun. It was a pity that I didn't see the boundary between the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea and the mirage.
The ticket to Penglai Pavilion is 150 yuan, which is a bit expensive. It takes 2 hours to visit here.
In fact, it doesn't matter whether you visit Penglai Pavilion or not. The main thing is to see the sea in Penglai Pavilion. It's really cool.
The entire Penglai Pavilion complex consists of the Sanqing Hall, Lu Zu Hall, Su Gong Temple, Tianhou Palace, Dragon King Palace, Penglai Pavilion, and Mituo Temple. They are located on a small hillside. Starting from the ticket office, you can climb the hill and visit these palaces one after another. You can see that these buildings have different styles. In addition to Penglai Pavilion, the entire scenic area also includes Tianheng Mountain, Dengzhou Museum, Ancient Ship Museum, the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea Demarcation Line, and Qi Jiguang's hometown.
Tourists come here mainly to visit the Penglai Pavilion ancient building complex, which can be reached on foot, mainly by stone steps and gentle slopes. Along the way, you can visit Baiyun Palace, Dragon King Palace, Queen of Heaven Palace, Sanqing Hall, Su Gong Temple, and finally the Shelter Pavilion and Penglai Pavilion on the top of the mountain. The sea breeze is very strong on the top of the mountain. From here you can see the junction of the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea. The boundary between the yellow and blue sea waters is very obvious, and you can also see Changdao Island in the middle of the sea. What is worth mentioning is the Shelter Pavilion. Due to its unique design, only tourists who come here on windy and rainy days can feel its wonders. Standing outside the pavilion, you can feel the surging waves on the sea and the howling wind. When you enter the Shelter Pavilion, it is extremely quiet. The pavilion is completely different from the outside world.
Green mountains and clear water (Fenhe Erreservoir, just kidding, people from Taiyuan should understand), well, this is the life I want.
Penglai Ancient City was an ancient coastal defense city with many artillery batteries built on the seashore as a fortress to defend Jiaodong.
Standing by the sea, feeling the sea breeze, letting your troubles drift away with the sea breeze, this is also a kind of beauty.
I went there with high hopes, but it wasn't as good as I expected. The attractions were just average. The only regret was taking the sightseeing bus to the highest point to have a look.
People probably go to Penglai Pavilion for its history and fame.
This is a must-visit place to check in. Others may differ in opinion. It is still worth a visit for friends who go to Penglai.
You can enter Penglai Pavilion during the opening hours, but you need to show your ticket to enter the attraction. I didn't go in because I was in a hurry. The ticket is 125 yuan if you book it online. If you go to the homestay in advance, you can ask the owner to help you buy the ticket, which will be cheaper. Penglai Pavilion closes its gate at 18:00.
The ancient building complex is mainly the temples and palaces of various gods. It is suitable for travelers who like history. It is best to find a tour guide to explain the scenery. It will be boring if you only see the scenery without hearing the details. The ancient building complex is not big and can be visited in 1~2 hours. The Tianheng Mountain cableway is 50 per person, or you can walk. PS 5.1 really can't take photos
PS Ticket Information
The full ticket is 140 yuan, and the student ticket is 70 yuan. You can buy it at some travel agencies for about 120 yuan. Ctrip and other travel agencies sell tickets for 125 yuan. Yantai Jiaoyun also sells tickets at Yantai Passenger Transport Terminal and Penglai Bus Station. You can buy full-price student tickets.
I decided to visit this place on short notice without reading too many online reviews. I thought it was a place I would just visit once and for all. I didn't expect the scenery inside and outside the place to be so great. It is worthy of being one of the first national 5A-level scenic spots, especially the ancient buildings inside the scenic spot. Touching the walls, I felt a strong sense of historical sedimentation. It is worth a visit. However, the tickets are a bit expensive. If you want to take a slow tour, it will take about half a day to go back and forth to Tianheng Mountain.
Penglai Pavilion, a paradise on earth, is always surrounded by clouds and mist. Unfortunately, it was almost noon when I went there, just when the clouds and mist were dispersing. It is recommended to go in the morning or evening. Although I didn't see the wonderland of clouds and mist, I was attracted by its historical and cultural heritage. The palm-sized scenic area has built more than a dozen Taoist temples and temples of various sizes around Penglai Pavilion, most of which are related to the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea. They are all ancient buildings, and the courtyards are connected to each other, so it is easy to get lost or miss some temples. When you go to Yantai, be sure to take time to visit Penglai Pavilion. The ticket price is 140 yuan, which is worth the money.
Penglai Pavilion is one of the four famous towers in ancient China. It is an ancient building complex that embodies the wisdom and artistic crystallization of the ancient Chinese working people. Its legend of "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea" and the wonder of "Mirage" are well-known at home and abroad. When I went there, it was very windy and rainy, which was very similar to the artistic conception of the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea. Climbing the pavilion and looking at the sea is a unique view.
Worth a visit, very beautiful
Full of fairy spirit, reminds me of the story of the Eight Immortals
There were mountains and seas of people.
However, we were smart enough to walk through the small paths and came to the back of the attic, facing the sea. The sea breeze blew in our faces, messing up our hair. Since we were at the bottom of the attic, there was no reason not to go up, so we walked through the crowd and got a glimpse of the Eight Immortals.
In a scenic spot by the sea, various historical stories
The scenery is very good. Among the four famous towers, it is the only fairyland by the sea with great scenery.
Penglai Pavilion is one of the four famous towers in ancient China. It is an ancient building complex that embodies the wisdom and artistic achievements of the ancient Han working people. It is known as the "fairyland on earth" and its legend of "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea" and the wonder of "Mirage" are well-known at home and abroad.
After going through ups and downs, it has now developed into a scenic spot and leisure resort with Penglai Pavilion ancient building complex as the central axis, Penglai Water City and Tianheng Mountain as the two wings, four cultures (immortal culture, Jingwu culture, port culture and marine culture) as the foundation, mountain (Danyashi Mountain), sea (Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea), city (Penglai Water City) and pavilion (Penglai Pavilion) as the layout, and more than 20 scenic spots such as Dengzhou Museum, Ancient Ship Museum, Tianheng Mountain, Hehai Pavilion and the boundary coordinates of the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea as embellishments, integrating natural scenery, historical sites, cultural landscapes, leisure and entertainment.
The scenic spot has won the titles of "National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit", "National Key Scenic Spot", "National Advanced Unit for Creating a Civilized Industry", "National May 1st Labor Medal", "National Tourism Industry Best Integrity Unit", "National First Batch of 5A-level Tourist Attractions", "National Civilized Unit", "China Well-known Trademark", "Shandong Province Advanced Unit for Quality Management", "Shandong Province Service Standardization Demonstration Unit" and other titles. The Tour Guide Section has won honors such as "National Youth Civilized Unit" and "National Women's Civilized Demonstration Post".
The place where Xu Fu sought immortality and the Eight Immortals crossed the sea, watching the waves hitting the rocks is still very beautiful
Penglai Pavilion is one of the four famous towers in China. It is known as the "fairyland on earth". It is said that the Eight Immortals crossed the sea here. If you are lucky, you can also see a mirage, but unfortunately I didn't see it. The scenery is really beautiful. There is also the boundary between the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea at Tianheng Mountain, which is worth seeing. However, the ticket price is 125 yuan, which is relatively expensive, and the cost performance is greatly reduced.
It was a year later that I came to Yantai again on a business trip. It started snowing right after I got off the plane. It snowed overnight and accumulated. The temperature was minus three degrees. For a native of Suzhou, it was quite novel to see snow. Due to the weather, I came to Yantai twice, both at the end of the year, but the scenery I saw was very different. When I came last year, it had just snowed and the sky was gray. I felt that the air in the city was not good. This time, the air quality was obviously much better. I looked up last year's photos and came to Penglai Pavilion. I was in a hurry. When I went there, it was more than three o'clock. I saw the sunset. The seafood in Yantai is very fresh and the quantity is very large. Just steam it with a lot of water. Unlike ours, it is all shipped from outside, the quantity is small, and a lot of it is made into garlic paste to remove the fishy smell. If you have the opportunity, you should go there in June or July, it will feel better.
I have always had an inexplicable longing for the Penglai Fairy Island, but I was a little disappointed after I went there. It may be that the traces of artificial planning are too obvious. The most famous Penglai Fairy Pavilion still has a little style, but I am still not very happy.
Leaving Qi Jiguang's hometown and heading south, you can see the Ancient Ship Museum after entering Zhenyang Gate. Continue northward for more than 500 meters to reach the entrance of the Penglai Pavilion ancient building complex. Built in the Northern Song Dynasty, the Penglai Pavilion stands by the sea, with pavilions and towers scattered in an orderly manner. The main building of the Penglai Pavilion is the most complete when viewed from Tianheng Mountain or the Navy Mansion. It is best to follow a guide or a tour group here, otherwise you will easily go the wrong way and miss the wonderful mythological stories.
There are many people in Penglai Pavilion, the scenery is beautiful, and it is a unique experience to climb up and watch the sea.
I came to Penglai many years ago, but I didn't go to Penglai Pavilion at that time. This time I made up for the regret. The ticket is a little expensive, facing the sea, very beautiful, worth a visit.
The place is big and there are many things to see
You can learn history and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
The boundary between the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea, Ancient Ship Museum
A nice place to play for a long time
It is recommended to bring your own food.
The food inside is expensive and tastes bad
The most famous 5A scenic spot in Yantai, the landmark of Yantai, is also the origin of the name Yantai, and has great historical and cultural value. The transportation is convenient, and it is not far from Sanxian Mountain and Baxian Crossing the Sea, all on the coastline north of Penglai. The ticket is 140, which is 20 yuan more expensive than the 120 of Sanxian Mountain, but it is very worthwhile. The scenic area is large, the architecture is magnificent, and it is surrounded by mountains and seas. The scenery is beautiful, including Penglai Pavilion Ancient Building Group, Tianheng Mountain, Qi Jiguang's Hometown and several museums. Very suitable for aerial photography, very suitable for aerial photography, very suitable for aerial photography! The night view is also beautiful! Play in Penglai for a day, stay overnight, play Sanxian Mountain, Baxian Crossing the Sea, Penglai Pavilion and Penglai Underwater World, stay overnight, and watch the night view at night, which is very pleasant! But the restaurants near the scenic area are very dark! It is comparable to 38 shrimps in Qingdao. Don't eat seafood near the scenic area!

Now it has developed into a scenic spot with ancient buildings as the central axis, Penglai Water City and Tianheng Mountain as the two wings, four cultures (immortal culture, Jingwu culture, port culture and marine culture) as the foundation, mountain (Danyashi Mountain), sea (Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea), city (Penglai Water City) and pavilion (Penglai Pavilion) as the layout, and more than 20 scenic spots such as Dengzhou Museum, Ancient Ship Museum, Tianheng Mountain, Hehai Pavilion and the boundary coordinates of the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea as embellishments. It integrates natural scenery, historical sites, cultural landscapes, leisure and entertainment.
Penglai Pavilion is the most important tourist attraction in Penglai City and a must-see place when visiting Penglai. But after seeing it, I have a lot of feelings.
1. As a national 5A-level scenic spot, the scenic spot is only big, not refined, which makes people feel very empty. The core part of the scenic spot is very small, and most of it is historical legends. It takes the story of the Eight Immortals becoming immortals. But there is no more introduction to the story of the Eight Immortals. This reduces the core content of this scenic spot a lot. And there are very few tourist souvenirs for the Eight Immortals. Even if it is a legend, it can be developed more. This makes people feel that the scenic spot has not worked hard in this regard. It is just to make the scenic area larger and have more attractions. Unexpectedly, this makes people forget Penglai Pavilion even more.
2. The 140 yuan ticket is a bit expensive. Especially since it is forcibly included in the Tianheng Mountain. Those who have been there know that is Tianheng Mountain considered a tourist attraction? This kind of inclusion can only give people a worse impression. It is almost the same as saying that Tianheng Mountain is a barren mountain. A pavilion, a few sculptures, and a lighthouse are considered a tourist attraction? And you have to take a cable car to get there (you can walk down the road, but the journey is long and there is no shelter, which is painful enough in summer).
3. There are problems with the facilities in the scenic area. There are several moments behind Penglai Pavilion. It is difficult to take pictures. Because there are stone benches in front of the stone carvings, many tourists rest there. If you take pictures, you will inevitably take pictures of others, which is not only impolite, but also affects the picture. In fact, the stone benches can be placed somewhere else. Since you set up a scenic spot, you must consider the convenience of everyone's visit and not do it on a whim.
4. The tourist signs in the scenic area are not detailed enough, and the tour routes are not scientifically planned. You need to go back and forth a lot, and you will miss the scenic spots if you are not careful. Moreover, the tickets are one-way. Once you walk out of Penglai Pavilion and go to Tianheng Mountain, you can never go back. This rule is neither scientific nor fair. Why can't I move freely in the scenic area after I bought the ticket?
The above are some of my feelings and suggestions when visiting Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area. I hope it will be helpful to future friends, and I also hope that the managers of Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area will see it, optimize service implementation, and enhance the connotation of the scenic area, so that more friends can gain more!
It is highly recommended to visit this must-see tourist attraction. Although the ticket price is a bit expensive (I am puzzled as to why there is no ticket checking and only one ticket is used for each attraction in the whole process), you can face the sea, feel the sea breeze and appreciate the Penglai fairyland.
I came here because of its reputation, but I didn't see anything special. Our generation still knows the myth of the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, but for the younger generation, these cultures are very unfamiliar to them and they are not interested in them at all.

This attraction is quite confusing to visit, as there are several ways to get in: walking, yacht, and cable car.
It feels like there are several places that don't require ticket inspection... There are quite a lot of free attractions, and the paid part is not interesting... I walked around for a long time before checking the ticket, and I left after walking for a short time. The area is not big. It feels like there are attractions inside one another here. You have to buy a cable car ticket to go out, which is the next attraction, Tianheng Mountain.
Not as good as expected, the scenery is not beautiful enough, and there is nothing special.
It is very beautiful and worth a visit. Penglai Pavilion, ancient buildings and Tianheng Mountain scenery are all very good. The Tianheng Mountain cableway must be taken.
The introduction of the scenic spot is not good, and the signs are not clear and accurate. Penglai Water City is the sea in Penglai Pavilion. After touring the ancient buildings, I was confused when I saw the signs.
This kind of sea-viewing place must have good weather to be beautiful.
It's not as beautiful as I imagined. I think it's not as beautiful as Tianheng Mountain across the street. Maybe it's too hot and crowded, which makes me feel depressed. I went there on purpose. I can only say that there is no surprise, but it is indeed beautiful.
2024.9.8 The last stop of our trip is Penglai Pavilion; the paradise on earth must be seen, but it is a pity that Tianheng Mountain is not open for some reason, which leaves a regret. I will come here again if I have the chance;
