As soon as I arrived at the pier, I saw groups of seagulls flying around people. People also enthusiastically threw fried dough sticks and steamed buns. (The fried dough sticks and steamed buns were about 5 yuan for three bags. Don't be cheated. I bought 10 yuan for three bags the first time, and the price for my companions was 5 yuan for three bags. You can also bring your own steamed buns or fried dough sticks.) There is also a historic pier. It is beautiful to stand on the bridge and take pictures of the scenery. Because I went there in winter, there are not many activities to play on the sea. We only took a small yacht. The small yacht is very good. The master who drives the boat may suddenly drive very fast and then steer it, which makes people feel very exciting~ There is also a military museum. The military museum has three warships open to the public and a nuclear submarine. (The ticket for the military museum is 40 yuan per ticket, and 20 yuan per ticket with a student ID. You need to buy another ticket to enter the nuclear submarine. The nuclear submarine is not half-price when showing a student ID. The ticket price is 100 yuan per ticket. When visiting the nuclear submarine, someone will explain the details of the nuclear submarine to you.)

We went there during the summer vacation. The trestle is actually a stone bridge leading to the sea. The stone bridge is quite long and can extend to a place far away in the sea. There is Huilan Pavilion on the bridge, which is one of the ten scenic spots in Qingdao. There are many tourists, most of whom take pictures on the bridge, so it is a bit annoying. It is also difficult to find an angle without people when taking pictures. The wooden boardwalk on the seaside is very long, and you can walk and enjoy the scenery all the way. Qingdao's environmental protection is actually quite good. You can see a lot of seabirds circling on the trestle, and many tourists feed them with bread and other things, which is very cute. There are some Enteromorpha on the sea, mainly near the shore, and you can also see some of them entrenched on the reefs, but the scope and degree are also within acceptable conditions, which affects the experience of playing a little. The quality of tourists needs to be improved. Many people who go to the beach to play leave some empty water bottles, bamboo sticks and plastic films. Fortunately, the cleaning is very good. There are many mobile vendors beside the pier, selling water and snacks, and the prices are much more expensive than those in convenience stores. Not to mention the specialty stores that sell to tourists. There are few specialty products and the prices are very expensive. A small string of shells can cost dozens of yuan. I am drunk. Basically, the prices are set arbitrarily. This kind of high price directly makes me not want to buy here. To buy specialty products and souvenirs, go to Taitung Pedestrian Street. Everything is very cheap and there are many choices. I recommend someone's specialty shop. I bought things there. They have many special souvenirs, most of which cannot be bought in other souvenir shops. Their black garlic, donkey-hide gelatin and Laoshan green tea are all very authentic. It seems sincere to buy them home for the elderly. As for some small things, such as beer crisps, rose paste and fish fillets, we also bought a lot, which are very delicious. The main reason is that the boss is enthusiastic and the store is very clean and fresh, which is much better than other specialty stores.

Figures 1 to 4 show the trestle bridge during the May Day holiday;

Figures 5 to 9 show the trestle bridge today after May Day;

Figures 10 to 12 show the pier with lights turned on at night.

Randomly interviewing various people in Qingdao, we got different opinions on the situation of tourists rushing during holidays as follows:

People working in the catering, accommodation, retail and other service industries: Why isn’t every day a festival?

Qingdao citizen: Ge Ying Ren (homonym), so dirty and annoying!

Daocheng Jiubiaozi: Wuyinmao (homonym), strolling all over the street, making me dizzy!

Dear friends, what time of Qingdao do you like? What kind of pier do you like? [Happy]

The above is the report.

At 3 pm, many people gathered on the pier to watch the seagulls. I realized that the crowds were also part of the scenery. There were more seagulls than people. You could buy a bag of bread from the auntie selling bread nearby to feed the seagulls. It cost 3 yuan for one bag, 5 yuan for two bags. There were only a few and they were eaten up in a short while.

The seagulls on the pier are not afraid of people at all. They even fanned my head with their wings to grab the bread in my hand. Don't worry, the seagulls will not poop on our heads. If you are worried, you can wear a hat.

The trestle is located at the south end of Zhongshan Road in Qingdao. The bridge body extends from the coast into the depths of the crescent-shaped Qingdao Bay. The bridge body is open to tourists for sightseeing and for tourist boats to dock here. From here, you can see Qingdao on the sea. The Qingdao trestle was first built in the 18th year of Emperor Guangxu's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1892). It is the earliest military-specific artificial dock building in Qingdao. It is now an important landmark building and a famous scenic spot in Qingdao. The Qingdao trestle is 440 meters long and 8 meters wide, with a steel-concrete structure. A semicircular breakwater is built at the south end of the bridge. Inside the dyke is a two-story octagonal building in the national style, named "Huilan Pavilion". Tourists stand beside the pavilion and enjoy the huge waves coming in. "Flying Pavilion Huilan" is known as one of the "Ten Scenic Spots of Qingdao".

The trestle is great! The wooden boardwalk by the sea is very long and well maintained. The scenery is really beautiful. The sky in Qingdao is very blue and the sea water is very clear. The most surprising thing is that I didn't expect to see seagulls on the trestle! ! ! It's really beautiful. I bought bread on the roadside with my children and fed a lot of seagulls with bread crumbs. The beach of the trestle is very fine, and the sanitation and environmental protection are very good. It can be seen that there are special cleaning aunts who are responsible for cleaning carefully! I almost didn't see the water bottle bamboo sticks mentioned on the Internet. The children also like to pile sand on the beach and clamor to come the next day! But the small vendors on the beach are really cheating! ! ! Not only are souvenirs mysteriously expensive, but even a bottle of mineral water is several yuan more expensive! So you can't buy souvenirs in the scenic area! I recommend the store I bought in Taitung two days ago. I also saw someone's specialty shop on the guide. The things are good and cheap, so don't buy them by the trestle! But then again, the trestle and Laoshan are really the best places. Friends who come to Qingdao for tourism must not miss it! There are more people at other attractions, but the Zhanqiao and Laoshan are both super awesome!

The Zhanqiao is an iconic attraction in Qingdao. It is located on Haibin Road in Shinan District and is one of the symbols of Qingdao.

Visiting time: It is recommended to visit on a sunny day, preferably in the early morning or evening, so that you can enjoy the most beautiful sea view and the view on the bridge. The trestle bridge is a popular check-in spot, with a large flow of people, and there will be crowds. Huilan Pavilion has been converted into a museum, and you need to buy a separate ticket to enter. When the sun sets, everyone hides at one end of the sunshade and quietly enjoys the romance of the evening breeze and the sea.

Transportation: Qingdao Zhanqiao has convenient transportation. You can choose to take a taxi or drive there, or take a bus from the bus station in Qingdao city.

More than 30 years ago, I took a photo on the Qingdao Pier. I have no idea why I came here to take the photo.

With the impression of this photo in my mind, I strolled to the beach. When I came to the beach and leaned on the railing to look out, I could see the plank road at a glance. After all, there was a pavilion in the middle of the sea, so it was easy to recognize. The bus sightseeing bus was very convenient, and there was a stop at the pier; the buildings along Binhai Road were like the Bund in Shanghai, all in Western style; some citizens and small vendors also set up stalls on the pedestrian path to sell seafood to tourists, and it was a happy scene.

But at one point, I heard a voice saying “The urban management officers are here”, and you can all imagine what happened next.

I arrived at the pier in the evening of July 26. At that time, Typhoon "Yanhua" was wreaking havoc in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and the extent of its damage was a hot topic online. I was enjoying the breeze at the seaside near the pier, and the waves were much bigger than normal.

In the distance, a sea of passengers crowded at the entrance of the pier, and it was obvious that it was closed.

The Zhanqiao, a sea promenade built during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, is the symbol of Qingdao. I have often rushed to the Zhanqiao in the morning to meet the sea, and sat quietly on the railings at dusk to look at the sunset on the Zhanqiao.

The trestle bridge is a landmark attraction in Qingdao, so many people go there. Moreover, the trestle bridge, May Fourth Square, Olympic Sailing Center and Lover's Dam are all in the same area, and are all in the arc range of the bay, so the scenery facing the sea is similar. The trestle bridge was originally a transfer terminal for transporting materials from the open sea to the inland, and was later rebuilt. Huilan Pavilion at the end of the trestle bridge faces the sea and is the forefront of sea view.

By Small ears. |

As the symbol of old Qingdao, the trestle bridge is a landmark that all tourists must check in. As for its own attraction, it is actually not that high. If you come to Qingdao by train, you can see the trestle bridge as soon as you exit the train station. The most conspicuous one is the Huilan Pavilion at the end of the trestle bridge. In recent years, when there were strong winds and waves, the trestle bridge was also damaged and repaired many times. In the past, there were small commodities and small exhibitions in the Huilan Pavilion. I don’t know what is in it now. When the weather is good, you can also feed the seagulls, but be careful.

The Zhanqiao is an important landmark building and a famous scenic spot in Qingdao. It is a long bridge extending into the sea. A semicircular breakwater is built at the south end. Inside the breakwater is a double-layer octagonal pavilion with flying eaves in ethnic style, named Huilan Pavilion. There are many old German-style buildings around the Zhanqiao, which you can visit together.

The scenery is indeed nice, but I am in no mood to go on. My 10,000-yuan SLR camera got soaked in seawater by accident, so I couldn't take pictures. I went to Qingdao city to have it repaired for 500 yuan. It turned a deaf person into a dumb person. I was speechless. I drove directly to Shanghai. Qingdao is the worst city to visit.

By Drunken Fox |

Like the "May Wind" in the May Fourth Square, it is a landmark building in Qingdao.

This is a paradise for seagulls. Large numbers of seagulls gather on the sea and the beach. From time to time, people throw food onto the beach, attracting groups of seagulls to scramble for it.

I walked slowly along the fence on the shore. From afar, I saw that the pier was crowded with people. Thinking that there were so many places to check in later, I needed to save some time and energy, so I finally gave up the urge to climb the pier.

By The Traveler's Secret |

The day we went there was still very comfortable. The sun was not very strong and the sky was very clear. You could smell the sea from afar before you reached the pier. The entire wooden boardwalk was well protected. There were many tourists on the beach, but the hygiene was quite good. Basically, there were no wooden sticks or water bottles. Basic sun protection work should still be done well. If you want to eat on the pier, you can find a fast food restaurant nearby. The price is very cheap. It is recommended to bring your own water. Several small stalls on the pier are relatively expensive. Don't buy souvenirs and specialties on the pier. Although there are many places selling specialties, the prices are very expensive. When you enter the store, you can see that the things are placed in a messy manner. When you see that it is a tourist who comes to buy, they will randomly quote prices. Here I would like to recommend the store we went to. It is located in Taitung. The name of the store is very interesting, it is called Someone's Specialty Shop. It is a small fresh internet celebrity store specializing in Shandong and Qingdao specialties. The store is very clean and the goods are arranged in an orderly manner. The most important thing is that the food is very delicious. The quality of donkey-hide gelatin, black garlic and Laoshan green tea are very good. And because the store is located in a commercial street, its prices are very fair. They are clearly marked and you won't be ripped off. I personally prefer to buy beer crisps. I bought a box and ate a lot of them in the hotel.

By Ma Xiaosa |

There are three things about the pier: many tourists, many seabirds, and many people soliciting customers. I came here to check in, but the weather was bad, the scenery was really discounted, and I couldn't take beautiful photos. I just walked around and left. I think the seaside bathing beach and Badaguan Scenic Area have better scenery.

The seagulls probably ate too much food and were basically floating on the water. It was late and I didn't have the energy to walk across the pier to the pavilion. It was nice to just sit there and stare blankly.

The most famous check-in spot in Qingdao, Qingdao Pier was built in the 18th year of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1892). It is the earliest military-dedicated artificial dock building in Qingdao. Huilan Pavilion is the trademark on the bottles of Qingdao beer we drink. It can be said to be a representative attraction of Qingdao.

After coming out of the Catholic church, we walked slowly to the pier to enjoy the sea view and feel the sea breeze. Unfortunately, there were no seagulls when we went there, which was a little regrettable.

You can reach the pier after passing a seafood free market. There are many tourists along the way. The water is clear and the scenery is beautiful.

By Little Meng, little Meng |

This is an essential point in every guide. Of course, in my opinion, it is not as exaggerated as described in the guide, but it is a must-check point, and perhaps it has its own characteristics!

No tickets are required. We arrived in the afternoon, so there were relatively fewer people.

Walking on the pier, looking at the azure water on both sides and the light blue sky in the distance, it is still very pleasant. There are many tourists around Huilan Pavilion at the end. Everyone is at the beach, enjoying the sea breeze, watching various marine entertainment projects in the distance, and feeling the tranquility of the sea breeze. Of course, there are many tourists, and it still depends on luck to stand at the edge.

There are many people swimming on the beaches on both sides, but the water near the beaches is not very clean.

The Zhanqiao Beach in the early morning belongs to the local people of Qingdao. Winter travel, beach volleyball, sea catching and feeding seagulls are the favorite activities of Qingdao people.

I took a walk on the beach, watched the seagulls, and picked up a few shells as souvenirs. I really envied the people who lived here. I felt that if I had any troubles, I would be relieved by strolling on the beach! The more I thought about it, the more reluctant I was to leave here~~~

I wanted to go up, but there were too many people, so I had to give up. There are many seagulls on the beach on this side of the pier. It is as beautiful as a painting, with flocks of white seagulls flying, the vast sky and the blue sea as the background, and large expanses of navy blue dotted with pure white seagulls, one still and one moving. There are many tourists on the beach, some are fishing, some are playing with sand, and some are sunbathing.

Just to see the sea, there are a lot of people. You can stand on the reef below to take pictures during the day, but when you go there at night, the tide will be high and you can't see the reef. ps: To go to the pier, you have to walk through the underground passage. Please stay calm when you walk, otherwise you will find that after walking a long circle, you still go up from the entrance where you went down.

The pier is open to the public free of charge all day, and the night view on both sides is very beautiful. I don't want to leave when I stand here to watch! Before I came, I learned that the pier is often crowded, but at almost 9 o'clock in the evening, there are still many people. You can see the night view of both sides of the pier, which is unique. The sea breeze on both sides is very strong and a little cool. When you walk to the Huilan Pavilion at the end, you can also see the famous lighthouse of Xiaoqingdao Park in the distance, which is very beautiful.

One of Qingdao's characteristic attractions, it is crowded with people and a great place for taking photos. The long stone bridge leads to Huilan Pavilion!

It is very close to Qingdao Railway Station, and there are many snack shops and shopping malls nearby, with convenient transportation.

The most important thing is to start from the pier and follow the coastline to the Olympic Sailing Center, where most of Qingdao's characteristic attractions are concentrated.

By Grow up with you_baby |

The scenery of the trestle is nice, but there are many people on the holiday, and there seems to be no safety measures on the bridge. It is better to watch from a distance.

It is a famous place in Qingdao. You can see the sea and enjoy the sea breeze. It is not far away. I took a taxi. The weather is very hot. I would rather spend some money to enjoy the air conditioning.

The pier is a bridge that extends out from the sea. You can walk up to it. There is a small pavilion in the middle. You can continue walking forward after paying money. It costs about ten yuan. We didn't go there. We just wanted to experience it. Besides people selling taking photos, there are people selling motorboats. Most of the people who come here are tourists. The quality of tourists is not high. There are garbage floating on the shore. The sea breeze here is really strong. Even umbrellas will be blown away. I was blown into a fool by the wind. Not applying sunscreen is simply suicidal behavior. It's a bad idea.

By Maple Journey |

Qingdao's iconic scenery, open to the public for free, the former dock, now a tourist attraction. There are many tourists, and the scenery is really nice when the weather is fine. There are seagulls flying over the pier from time to time, and there are also many tourists feeding them, so you can interact with the seagulls up close. The water quality of the seawater next to the pier is average, and many reefs will be exposed when the tide is low, and many tourists will go to catch small crabs.

The bridge extends from the coast into the depths of the crescent-shaped bay. Such dock buildings are probably rare, and it is now an important landmark attraction in Qingdao.

There was a cool breeze when I walked towards the pier. Before I crossed the road, the salty smell of the sea filled my nose, and the stuffiness was less. When I saw the pier, I saw a lot of tourists, but my mind seemed to be more open when I was close to the sea. Walking on the crowded bridge, I felt that my heart was suddenly open. The sea may not dare to act recklessly because the sky was unhappy. It seemed that something was blocking its heart. The sea fog was very thick, and it was hazy after just a few meters. The sea and the sky were gray.

There were many people on the pier and the sea breeze was very comfortable. When I went there at the end of September, there were still some elderly people swimming at Huilan Pavilion. Huilan Pavilion is open to the public free of charge. In order to protect the building, the flow of people is limited.

Qingdao Zhanqiao is definitely the symbol of Qingdao, right? It is like the Bund to Shanghai. The Zhanqiao is at the south end of Zhongshan Road, very close to Qingdao Railway Station. It is a must-visit place for many people who come to Qingdao city. The Zhanqiao is more than 400 meters long and 8 meters wide. It is bustling with tourists. You can enjoy the sea breeze here and take a boat out to sea. There are reefs and beaches on both sides of the Zhanqiao, where you can catch small crabs and fish. It is definitely a favorite of children.

As expected, there were a lot of people! I gave up walking on the pier and just walked along the less crowded seaside trail.

The pier, yes, it is the most representative landmark building in Qingdao and also the earliest military-dedicated wharf in Qingdao. The octagonal building on it is called Huilan Pavilion. Because it was built for military purposes, the guardrails on the embankment are just some big iron chains. It is particularly crowded with tourists during the tourist season, so those with children should pay more attention!

There are many uncles and aunties holding cruise ship signs near the pier, inviting people to take a "luxury cruise ship". Don't believe them and don't pay any attention to them! ! ! Personal experience, I can tell you that the whole cruise ship is a scam. I have seen similar experiences in many comments. This experience made my impression of Qingdao plummet as soon as I arrived in Qingdao. For detailed experience and tips, you can read my travel notes
