It integrates marine tourism and popular science education, and brings together the richness and diversity of marine life. Here, you can see about 2,000 types and more than 20,000 rare marine specimens; you can watch thousands of species and tens of thousands of rare marine life from all over the world, such as the 4-meter-long South African sand tiger shark, the 2-meter-diameter black-spotted striped stingray, known as the "devil fish", etc.; there is also an 82.6-meter-long underwater tunnel, which allows you to be in a dream world of "harmony between man and nature, and being personally on the scene"!
Beautiful natural environment, long history and culture, profound humanistic heritage, unique science advantages, convenient subway transportation------Qingdao Aquarium and Qingdao Underwater World Scenic Area, known as "the first in our country" (Cai Yuanpei's words), is a unique marine cultural connotation, supported by many newly renovated venues and rich marine life, with "Dragon Tooth Integrity Story, Sea Vow Love Story, Squid vs. Sperm Whale" as the finishing touches, and many "heart-to-heart, creating touching" underwater people serving here. It is the only oceanarium in the country that is "surrounded by mountains and seas, with seas in the mountains" and is entirely underground. Here you can experience the dream of the blue ocean and taste the real feeling of the sea. It can be said to be "an ocean family, a holy place for science; profound and extensive, dreamy and magical"!

【Qingdao Underwater World】
Price: 115/person Elderly people over 70 years old, children under 1.2 meters free of charge
The itinerary was planned to visit the Polar Oceanarium, but because this one is close to the city, we finally decided to come here.
Take the bus to Luxun Park, get off and walk for a while to arrive. The ticket price on Ctrip is 114. I met a lady on the way who said 115, and you can go in directly, so I bought the ticket from her.
There are five pavilions in the Underwater World, but I forgot which ones they are.
As soon as you enter the museum, you will see the specimen museum, which displays all kinds of seafood made of various materials. I was not interested, so I walked on to another museum.
I saw the huge sign of Underwater World and this should be my destination.
This museum has five floors. The first floor is an underwater tunnel, which is very long and is known as the longest underwater tunnel in the world. There is an elevator, and everyone takes it in an orderly manner, but the types of seafood are relatively simple, swimming around, and they don’t look very delicious~
The second floor has a huge column with coral reefs and various beautiful small fish, as well as a large aquarium. There is a mermaid show at 2 pm.
The third floor is a venue for various small seafood, including corals, clown fish, and jellyfish, which are kept in small fish tanks.
There is an experience hall on the fourth floor. There are unknown small fish in the water tank with a lid. Put your finger into the hole on the lid, and the small fish will swim over and bite your finger, which is itchy.
The fifth floor is full of seafood specialties, and there are two venues outside
I decided to take my kids and mom to the Underwater World on the weekend. The most impressive thing was the Underwater World Tunnel, which was as if you were on the bottom of the sea. There were all kinds of jellyfish in the Jellyfish Hall with lights. Although the hall is not big, the jellyfish are very beautiful. I suggest not to take the conveyor belt, but walk slowly to appreciate them. There are several seals and penguins in the large pool in the Marine Animal Hall. The elderly and children are having a lot of fun.
I felt a little unsatisfied and not enough to watch. The mermaid show was good, but there were too many people. Watching people, fish, turtles, and sharks swimming in the water together, without interfering with each other, was very harmonious. There were only sea lions and penguins in the marine animal hall, and the jellyfish hall was very magical. The children cheered when they saw the sperm whale shape, and after seeing the underwater world specimen museum, I felt that there were so many species of animals in the sea, which was magical!
I took my baby there to let him see more. There are many specimens in the underwater world. The underwater tunnel is the most popular. The children are the happiest there. Then there is the mermaid show. I just caught up with it when I went there. It was pretty good. I was very happy to go through the whole process! The child was also very happy to complete the whole process and saw the big sperm whale specimen. My parents also took me to see it when I was a child. I was very excited to see it again. I took a photo and sent it to my dad. My dad was also full of emotion! Time really waits for no one. In a blink of an eye, I also brought my baby to visit! I will take my baby to visit again when I have time.
Qingdao Underwater World is very beautiful. I wanted to come here a long time ago. You can visit four halls. The first hall left the deepest impression on me because the jellyfish in it are not what I usually see, and they are very, very beautiful. The underwater tunnel of the underwater world is naturally the highlight here. We also took photos there. Many times you have a feeling of being in the sea. Inside, there is a huge cylindrical exhibition, which is said to be the largest in the world. The money spent is still worth it. I hope I can continue to play next time. Five-star praise.
“If you haven’t been to the Underwater World, don’t say you have been to Qingdao”, it can be seen that the Underwater World is still very influential. When we arrived in Qingdao, of course the Underwater World was our first choice. We have also been to several Underwater Worlds, big and small. Generally speaking, the Underwater World near the coast is still worth seeing. Not to mention how many fish there are, the area alone is incomparable to other places. Next time I come to the beach, I will definitely come to the Underwater World!
I bought the tickets online and entered the museum by scanning the QR code. It was very fast. There were so many people queuing in front of me, so I thought I would have to wait a long time, hahaha.
The location of the underwater world is really good. There are small sea-viewing areas between the pavilions. It is really facing the sea and the flowers are blooming in spring. I feel very comfortable. I saw a huge sperm whale skeleton and various marine creatures. I like the jellyfish palace the most. It is an eye-opener. Great!
The overall feeling about the underwater world is that it is very beautiful and dreamy. I like the mermaid show the most. I went there before and saw people dancing with sharks. Both performances are very creative. The jellyfish palace is also very beautiful. The underwater tunnel is a real tunnel. Fish swim above your head. If you play slowly, it will take about five or six hours. I feel that the marine animals are very cute. It will be very meaningful to take children there. It can arouse children's curiosity and learn more knowledge.
Tips:
Mermaid Show: 9:30 14:00
Human-Shark Dance Show: 11:00 12:00 15:30
Undersea Back Garden: 10:15 14:45
Ticket price: 110 yuan
Suitable for ages: Family trips for children aged 0 and above, and adults who are interested in the ocean
Recommended reason: China is also the earliest aquarium in Asia
Must-see items: Mermaid show (Prince Mermaid is worth looking forward to), milk-eating fish, underwater tunnel
Qingdao Aquarium is adjacent to Qingdao Luxun Park. It is more affordable to buy tickets for the Underwater World from China-TravelNote. The online ticket entrance can be directly scanned to enter, which is very convenient.
The colorful jellyfishes in various poses spread their beautiful skirts and dance gracefully.
The Freshwater Museum and the Marine Museum mostly display biological specimens and contain more popular science knowledge, making them a good place for young people to learn about the ocean.
Fun
I bought a seal doll at the Underwater World Mall, but when I got back it was taken away by a relative's child. I cried for a long time... If anyone sees this comment, I hope you can help me bring one back. Thank you very much❤️
Qingdao Underwater World is very good. It increases your knowledge and broadens your horizons. You can see many underwater creatures that you don’t normally see. You can’t help but sigh that the ocean is so big and full of wonders.
There are 7 pavilions in the underwater world, but we only visited 3. We saw the jellyfish that we liked the most. The cylindrical exhibition tank was very shocking. There were all kinds of small fish. There were also daily marine cultural performances, especially the "Dancing with Sharks" performance, which changed the original "thrilling" style and interpreted the harmonious beauty between man and the ocean, and man and animals. The "Dream Mermaid" real-life underwater performance perfectly reproduced the romantic love story of the mermaid princess and the prince. The program content was very rich, and it was worth the money.
The tour started from the Dream Jellyfish Palace, which is indeed a dreamy and magical jellyfish kingdom. Then there is the Marine Animal Pavilion, where there are all kinds of spotted seals, South American sea lions, sea turtles, loggerhead sea turtles, Hunny Penguins, Magellanic penguins, etc. I heard that several baby seals are born here every year. My favorite is the underwater tunnel, where you don’t have to walk by yourself. You stand on the conveyor belt and concentrate on appreciating the 180-degree regular window, feeling the beauty of the deep sea, and experiencing the dream of the blue ocean. It is worth seeing.
Some people say that if you haven’t been to the Underwater World, don’t say you have been to Qingdao. Although I have been to Qingdao many times, this is my first time to the Underwater World. I got the ticket at noon, and it was very simple to get the ticket. It took about three hours from entering to finishing the tour. There are four halls in total, which are really beautiful. There happened to be a show at 3:30 in the Underwater World Hall, which was very exciting and a visual feast. My daughter was happy and excited. The specimen museum is also good, which allows people to have a more intuitive understanding of marine animals. This trip is really worth it. It’s really a bit tiring, haha!
Although it was very tiring, I was very happy. Jellyfish Palace and Underwater World are my two favorite museums. I happened to catch a show, but unfortunately there were too many people and I didn’t see it. I went there with my parents on a self-driving tour. At first, I couldn’t find Qingdao because it was a one-way street, so I walked around for a long time. Later I felt that I was too stupid. It’s easy to find inside the aquarium. I think the jellyfish are very, very cute.
The children especially like the underwater world. They shouted excitedly when they saw the divers in the water. There were also many small fish. The other sea beasts, jellyfish and other venues were also good, but the children were a little tired and didn't see them carefully. In addition, the staff were very enthusiastic and greeted us with a smile when we asked questions. Although the weather was cold, it was very heartwarming.
Now is the peak tourist season in Qingdao, there are a lot of people, and there are tour guides everywhere. The Underwater World is a place that children like very much. Although the venues are not big, they have all kinds of marine life, and it is next to Luxun Park, with beautiful scenery and suitable waterscape. The whole tour takes about 3-4 hours, and it feels pretty good
The Jellyfish Palace here looks shocking enough. As the only Jellyfish Palace in China, the magic of slowly swaying in the water made me unable to leave the exhibition hall for a long time. However, the most colorful thing is not here. For the largest exhibition area, there is a submarine tunnel of hundreds of meters. It is quite magical to walk in it and watch various marine fish swimming by. If you like to join in the fun, I will also tell you that there are two shows here every day!
Qingdao Underwater World is generally a very cost-effective attraction. The Underwater World, Jellyfish Palace, Specimen Museum and Marine Animal Museum all have their own characteristics. It is especially suitable for traveling with children, which can increase children's knowledge.
The staff is very considerate and will constantly remind you to pay attention to safety. The facilities are also perfectly configured.
The pillar fish tank of Seaside is indeed creative and interesting.
Compared with the Polar Underwater World, Qingdao Underwater World has more convenient transportation and is also a place where larger attractions gather. The first bathing beach is next to it, which is very convenient. The Underwater World is also the first underwater world in the country, so the furnishings are relatively small, and of course the scale is also smaller. It is divided into the Jellyfish Hall, the Sea Animal Hall, the Underwater World Hall, etc.! There are many people in the summer vacation, especially in the Underwater World, and the queue is very long. It is recommended to book tickets online and pick up tickets at the entrance of the Jellyfish Hall.
The underwater world is really beautiful, especially the underwater tunnel, which is very beautiful for taking photos. There is a huge cylinder inside, which is said to be the largest in the world. I also saw a mermaid show and interactions between divers and sharks! Overall it was great!!
The children liked it very much and it helped spread some marine knowledge. They had a lot of fun along the way. However, there were no important reminders at the performance site. We asked several staff members when the performance was about to start and found out that we had missed the show. Unfortunately, the elevator was a one-way trip and could not return, so we did not take the children back to watch it. The children were very disappointed. We hope there will be large signs or voice prompts instead of letting tourists find it by themselves, especially since the route is not marked. The rest of the overall environment is good and worthy of the city of Qingdao.
Some marine life is on display, which can broaden your horizons. The scenery of the seaside outside the museum is nice. However, the surrounding roads are narrow and the parking lot is small, so parking is not very convenient. There are many people and it is crowded.
1: It is near the No. 1 bathing beach and it is very convenient to eat, drink and play nearby. 2: There are a lot of parking spaces inside and the place is large. You can park if you drive yourself. 3: There are too many people. It may be because of holidays. It may be better on weekdays. 4: It is not as big as expected. There are many pavilions, such as whale pavilion, shark exhibition and so on, but there are fewer pavilions in the underwater world. There are relatively fewer fish in the seabed. The environment is small. It seems like there is an elevator on it. I just went up and took a quick look. I didn't have time to take pictures. It was not satisfying. 5: I didn't see any mermaids or animal trainers. There were only sharks, small fish and so on. In summary, it is a good choice to go there when you are free. As long as there are not too many people, it is still recommended to go. Isn't it said! If you haven't been to the underwater world, don't say you have been to Qingdao
The guide says that the Underwater World is one of the three must-see attractions in Qingdao. It is built by the sea and has its own characteristics. I think the best thing is the acrylic water column in the center of the hall, which has towering corals and small fish swimming around. It is very beautiful. The most exciting thing is the Underwater World, and there is also a mermaid show, which is especially suitable for bringing children to experience.
The content is very comprehensive, different from the polar world, the sea view outside is the most beautiful
I went there with my children. It is a very recommended place. It is beautiful. The world in the sea is endless and worth exploring.
There are performances. Tickets are expensive. The exhibition content is more professional. I don't recommend it if you play by yourself.
Located on the bank of Qingdao Huiquan Bay, it is adjacent to the famous scenic spots of Qingdao, Luxun Park, Qingdao No. 1 Bathing Beach and May Fourth Square. It integrates the original tourist resources such as Qingdao Aquarium, Specimen Museum, Freshwater Fish Museum, etc., and integrates with the natural beauty of the mountains and the sea, forming a wonder of the sea in the mountains.
This is a stop for children. There are so many people! Parking is very inconvenient! But you can find parking in various corners. The aquarium is mainly divided into three parts: the aquarium, the freshwater fish hall, and the jellyfish/sea beast hall. When you approach the hall, you will see various marine life specimens and models! In fact, it is worth seeing. The child is too young and his interest cannot last too long... At first, I was scared and thought that there were no living things in it, but they were all specimens... Fortunately, it was not!! When we arrived at the underwater world, the most essential part was probably the arched underwater viewing area. When you step on the automatic elevator, you only need to look up and say "wow". Huge manta rays and sharks float over your head and in front of your eyes, and small schools of fish swim by. Just look at my child's expression and you will know how excited he is! That's enough. You have to buy a ticket from him to park nearby, and the ticket price is the full price package price. It saves trouble. But in fact, the three halls sell tickets separately. The jellyfish hall has a very detailed and rich classification. If you like it, it is worth seeing.
The Sea Zoo is a lie. It smells bad. In fact, if you are not in a hurry, you can find parking in various corners of the alley. Ah, there is actually a parking lot. There should be vacancies during the off-season and non-holidays. Anyway, I will not go there again
Qingdao Underwater World was built relatively early, so the infrastructure is relatively old. Don't have too high expectations. It can't compare to the newly built ocean worlds. I originally planned to take the children to see the dolphin, sea lion and seal performances, but they didn't, which was a bit disappointing 😞
The 6-linked museum is quite rich, and you can feast your eyes at once. Moreover, it is connected by a line, which saves time and convenience when visiting without having to go back.
The Underwater World is next to Luxun Park in downtown Qingdao. It has an underwater trail and many aquarium display cabinets. It is a great place to learn about the ocean and is most suitable for visiting with children.
Qingdao Underwater World runs through both sides of the road, and is passed through an underground tunnel. It is not much different from other underwater worlds. I think it is just a place to check in. From the underwater world, you can see the first bathing beach. The coast is full of seaweed and dotted with people.
1. There are so many people. This season is for people watching! It's hard to squeeze in. There are only 4 people in the mermaid show. There are too many people, and the jellyfish pavilion is not together, so I didn't go to the jellyfish pavilion. Later, I heard that the base ocean world in Penglai is also good and very big! 2. Let's talk about transportation. I searched the address on Gaode. After I went there, I said that it was a sub-ticket sales point set up outside by the underwater world, not the entrance. You must buy tickets on the spot, and the free bus will take you to the entrance. If you buy tickets online, you have to go to the jellyfish pavilion to exchange tickets. After checking the tickets, you have to go to the main entrance (the jellyfish pavilion and the main entrance are not together). It takes about 30 minutes to walk to exchange tickets online. I had no choice but to buy tickets on the spot. After buying, I waited for 40 minutes to start the bus. Sharing experience: Never search for the address directly on Gaode Map. Sometimes it is wrong and easy to be cheated. It is more accurate to look at the address in the honeycomb scenic spot.
Try not to come here during holidays... It's okay to bring children here, but it's actually quite boring for adults to see these things. The several pavilions are just like that, similar to a larger ornamental fish store... There are many kinds of fish. It's still quite novel when you see it for the first time, but it's boring after seeing it too many times. The main reason is that there are too many people during the holidays, and the viewing experience here is not very good. Most of the photos I took have been deleted, and they don't look very good. I feel that those who give good reviews are shills. The animal performances are also very ordinary. I have read a lot of articles about animal performances recently. In fact, I am disgusted by animal performances. I feel that it is a harm to animals. The noise is too loud, and the lifespan of dolphins in these animal performances is often very short. The commercialization inside the venue is too strong, selling all kinds of things, souvenirs and specialties are very expensive, are they better than outside, don’t be fooled by this again... Let me recommend the specialty store I went to. This store is someone’s specialty store in Taitung, a small and fresh specialty store with a lot of atmosphere. The specialties inside are very unique and can’t be bought outside. The main thing is that the prices are clearly marked and the goods are genuine, and the quality is also guaranteed. The boss is very nice and will introduce various specialties in detail. Generally speaking, their black garlic donkey-hide gelatin and Laoshan green tea are must-buys, not to mention dried seafood, which is really delicious. I ate most of the bag when I got back to the hotel. I am ready to repurchase...
Taking advantage of the summer vacation to bring children to Qingdao for summer vacation, Qingdao Underwater World is also a famous tourist project in Qingdao. In the past few years, many people have come here. It is basically a must-go in Qingdao. Qingdao Underwater World is also one of our travel plans. A few days ago, I was busy shopping in Qingdao. I bought a lot of specialties and dry goods in someone's specialty shop in Taitung. Qingdao Underwater World is the second stop in Qingdao. I have to say that the environment of the scenic area is still good. The children also like the small fish and jellyfish inside. It’s just that there are really a lot of people. It’s a bit crowded. The animal performances are also very impressive. Walruses and sea lions are so cute. Not only children, but also parents like it very much. But! There are cases of overcharging in the scenic area! ! ! Specialties are sold at high prices! ! ! A shell pendant that the child is optimistic about costs dozens of dollars! ! ! Fortunately, I bought them all in someone’s specialty shop in Taitung two days ago [Smile]
I went around with my mom and saw a lot of models and specimens. I thought it was quite interesting. At least I got to know a lot of sea creatures that I had only seen before but didn’t know the names of…
I bought the tickets from a group purchase online, but I forgot the exact price. Although there were a lot of people queuing, they were all large tour groups. Individual travelers like us were able to get in very quickly, and we just scanned the group purchase QR code. I have to say that technology really does change lives!
We entered the underwater world. As soon as we entered, we saw a series of marine life models, which were very realistic. The pattern of the underwater world is roughly like this: underwater life model - underwater life specimens and introduction - small underwater life - large underwater life sightseeing tunnel - "Sea Pledge" glass column - marine souvenir shop.
I won't go into details about the specific content because it will be a spoiler. After seeing it here, it won't be fresh if you go to see it in person~ I'll just post two random photos, hahahahahahahahaha.
For someone who grew up in an inland mountain city, the surprises that Qingdao Underwater World brought me were beyond my expectations.
I bought a pass for 180 yuan, and there are four major exhibition halls.
The best one is the "Dream Jellyfish Palace", and the most disappointing one is the "Sea Animal Hall"
Tips: Tourists who have bought the all-access ticket should note: The Fantasy Jellyfish Palace is on the opposite side of the street. You have to go out of another gate and then cross the main road and walk about 300 meters to get there. This layout really confuses many foreign tourists (for people who have lived in the magical 8D city for a long time, this is not a problem).
It may be an early project, so it is inferior to some of the later underwater worlds. It can be taken as a first look.
The Underwater World is near University Road and is also very close to the Ocean University of China. There is a staircase about a hundred meters from the main entrance, which leads down to the Second Seawater Bathing Beach.
The underwater world is definitely not as rich as the polar world performances. Compared with the seals and dolphins and the popular performances, the underwater world's shows are more simple and the species collected are not as complete as those in the polar regions. There are more specimens here.
The show is mainly about divers, with stories and music, which is more suitable for children. There are no real fish performances =.=
But what can I say? I have a great love for all amusement parks and zoos. No matter what, I still love to stay with these animals.
The facilities are rather old, but the undersea tunnel is quite beautiful. If you need to kill about two hours, this is a good option. Of course, from the perspective of a student ticket (half price), it is worth the money.
Qingdao Ocean World consists of several pavilions. It is normal to spend 2 hours to walk around. Except for the marine animal pavilion, the other pavilions are good. Because the marine animal pavilion is very small, it takes 10 minutes to walk through it. I spent 8 minutes watching the sea lion that is more than 2 meters and 3 meters long (I saw it up close, it was quite shocking.). There are so many kinds of marine animals in it. Anyway, I can't remember them all. Moreover, there are many parts that I sighed and said they were done very well. Or maybe I am a country person who came to the city.
There is an automatically moving corridor in the museum that takes you to the bottom of the ocean. As it moves slowly, you can see many strange fish above and around you.
PS, if you time it right, you can see the mermaid show.
To be honest, the jellyfish are really beautiful when seen live.
The underwater world is for viewing underwater creatures.
The Underwater World is in Shinan District, and most of the scenic spots are nearby. There are jellyfish in the Underwater World, which is nice for taking photos.
The full ticket is 130 in peak season and 110 in off-season, and student tickets are half price.
The full ticket includes: Underwater World, Marine Life Museum, Freshwater Fish Museum, Fantasy Jellyfish Museum, and Sea Animal Museum.
①Dream Jellyfish Museum (highly recommended)
Colorful, whether you look at it with your naked eyes or take photos, it looks great
②Underwater World
There is an underwater tunnel that is great for taking photos, and there are sharks and relatively large deep-sea fish.
③Marine Museum
The marine zoo has seals and penguins.
Seals are big and small, penguins are all little penguins
④Freshwater fish museum
The freshwater fish museum is also very beautiful, with fish of many colors, making for great photo opportunities.
The world is full and you can really go there.
Underwater World + Aquarium + Marine Animal Hall + Jellyfish Palace ¥130
You can use Alipay and WeChat. Student ID is half price.
At that time, because of the disagreement among the group, we originally planned to go to the Polar Ocean World, but in the end, due to time constraints, we only went to the Underwater World. The ticket cost more than 100 yuan, but it didn't feel very crowded inside. The underwater tunnel was not as big as the Changsha Underwater World, probably because it was opened earlier.
You must calculate the time and enter the venue as soon as the door opens, so there will be fewer people. It is also suitable for taking pictures. If you go late, there will be more people and you will have to queue up to enter. You must watch the performance. You must know the performance time in advance, which is suitable for children to popularize science. In addition, you must go to the performance venue in advance to grab the front row in the middle to avoid splashing water. No matter what the performance is, you must go half an hour in advance, otherwise it will be crowded. If you have children, this is a must-go place. Since I was alone that day, I didn’t have time to take pictures, so I will use the official promotional photos.
Wonderful underwater world and beautiful coastal scenery
The Underwater World is located on the bank of Huiquan Bay in Qingdao, surrounded by reefs. The unique and beautiful scenery on the coastline forms a beautiful view of the sea in the mountains. The aquarium, specimen museum, freshwater fish museum and other tourist resources have become a unique marine ecological park in the country.
Qingdao's Underwater World integrates underwater sightseeing and marine science education. It is divided into intertidal zones, underwater tunnels, cabin passages, ocean theaters, cylindrical exhibition tanks, tropical rainforest areas, biological boutique areas, science education areas and other sightseeing areas.
Qingdao Underwater World is an expansion of the Qingdao Aquarium (built in 1932), the first aquarium in China. It has seven exhibition halls: Dream Jellyfish Palace, New Marine Biology Hall, Sea Animal Hall, New Freshwater Biology Hall, New Whale Hall, Underwater World, and Marine Science and Technology Hall. It can be said to be a combination of marine tourism and popular science education. The beautiful natural environment, long history and culture, profound humanistic heritage, unique popular science advantages, and convenient transportation, whether driving or taking the subway, are very convenient.
I've been to the Polar Ocean World in Penglai before, and I feel that the one in Qingdao is much better and very beautiful.
If you go to Qingdao to see the underwater world, this is the best place to see it. The underwater tunnel is the best.
If you haven't been to the Underwater World, don't say you've been to Qingdao. It's still worth a visit.
I've been there three times. It's quite big. There are five or six venues in total. I like the Jellyfish Palace, but it's small. But the jellyfish are very beautiful. I like the underwater tunnel. And the cylindrical fish tank that is two or three stories high is amazing. Overall it's good.
This place has never been written before? This is the underwater world that I went to for the first time with my ex-girlfriend. It was probably in 2008. Nine years have passed in a flash. The facilities were very old at that time. It is very close to Luxun Park. There are some specimens and models on display at the entrance. The lighting is also dim and not very interesting. The brightest places are only the underwater tunnel and the large cylindrical aquarium. There are no living things in other places. However, the mermaid show is still very good, and the density is also OK. You don’t need to wait for a long time. But now I think about it, these things seem to be available in the inland underwater world, not as good as Haichang’s Polar
Adult tickets are 100 yuan. The aquarium is worth visiting, especially the jellyfish museum, which is beautiful!
The atmosphere of popular science is stronger. The design of the conveyor belt is very clever. It is suitable for children over five years old to play. The jellyfish museum is especially great! It's amazing!
It was my first time in the underwater world, and I felt the magic there. It was exciting to see the fish swimming freely. I’m glad to see so many magical things with my own eyes!
There are many fish that can become emoticons waiting for you to discover
The first aquarium in the country, it is crowded and worth visiting for every child.
The venues are scattered, and although there are no cookie-cutter performances, there are many precious specimens.
Qingdao Underwater World is located on the bank of Huiquan Bay in Qingdao, adjacent to the famous scenic spots of Qingdao, Luxun Park, Qingdao No. 1 Bathing Beach and May Fourth Square. It integrates the original tourist resources of Qingdao Aquarium, Specimen Museum, Freshwater Fish Museum, etc., and integrates with the natural beauty of the mountains and the sea to form a wonder of the sea in the mountains. The unique geographical location, modern display methods, good integration and complementarity with the aquarium, specimen museum and freshwater fish museum make it a unique marine ecological grand view garden in the country.
Qingdao Underwater World is divided into several major areas: intertidal zone, submarine tunnel, cabin passage, ocean theater, cylindrical exhibition tank, tropical rainforest area, biological boutique area, science and education area, etc.

The four museums are OK, the children like them very much, but it is better to go to one of the places similar to the underwater world, which are similar.
I feel like there isn't anything very special about it... It gets really crowded when there are a lot of people, especially when you're watching a show, it's just... terrible!
It was a pity that there was no marine animal show. Maybe the show was over when I went there. Anyway, I was a little disappointed. But as the first aquarium in China, it is still great in popularizing science education and promoting marine knowledge~~~
I still remember the words "If you haven't been to the underwater world, don't say you have been to Qingdao". But I have actually been here, and there are guides explaining the fun of marine life. I still remember some of the words. But the low-quality digital camera I used back then didn't take very good photos.
The first place we came to was the Marine Life Museum, which mainly exhibited various marine creatures, including corals, shellfish, various crabs, lobsters, and a huge whale skeleton, which was very eye-catching. It was very good and eye-opening to learn about some marine creatures here.
There are many kinds of marine life on display here. Before coming here, I had been wondering whether to go to the Polar Ocean World or the Underwater World. However, after reading many reviews, I still chose the Underwater World. The main exhibits here are marine life, while there are more interactions and performances in the Polar Ocean World. So if you are bringing children, I would recommend coming to the Underwater World, which will have more educational significance than the Polar Ocean World, and unlike the Polar Ocean World, where you just watch the fun.
After visiting the Marine Life Museum, I continued forward and came to the Whale Museum. This venue is not big, and there is a huge sperm whale at the entrance, which attracted countless tourists to take photos and group photos here.
Continue walking forward and you will arrive at the underwater world. When you first enter the underwater world, you will see all kinds of strange fish on display on both sides. Take your time to visit and walk inside. After a while, you will arrive at the underwater tunnel. The underwater tunnel is completely built underground, and you can see the dynamics of the seabed in all directions. Walking in this transparent underwater corridor, all kinds of fish are swimming around you, dancing with sharks, giving you a perfect visual experience. It may be lunch time, and you can see divers feeding in the water, and they seem to be playing with the fish and performing shows. There are too many people in the tunnel. There are two roads here. One is a free visit channel, and the other is an automatic forward crawler. You can stand on the crawler in crowded places without worrying about crowding. You can get off the crawler in less crowded places and take a closer look. The underwater tunnel is very long, very long, nearly 100 meters, which makes people fully devote themselves to this underwater feast. Even if you walk the whole way, you still feel unsatisfied. No wonder there is such a saying, "If you haven't seen the underwater world, don't say you have been to Qingdao."
Leaving the underwater tunnel and walking forward, you will see a huge cylindrical tank, which turns out to be the "world's largest single acrylic cylindrical exhibition tank". It simulates the marine ecology, with countless tropical fish swimming around. There is also a heart with a "vow of love" on the front of the tank, which has attracted countless couples to take photos here.
Take the elevator up, there is a small exhibition hall, which displays some special objects, such as the teeth of the conical-toothed shark, the successful and failed shell changes of giant claw crabs, etc. You can also experience the tingling feeling of putting your fingers into a small exhibition tank and letting the small fish suck your fingers.
Going further up, you will reach the Freshwater Fish Museum, where many precious freshwater creatures are exhibited, including the Chinese sturgeon, giant salamander, Yangtze alligator, etc. You can see many "living fossils" here.
At this point, the visit to the underwater world is almost over. When we left the exhibition hall, we were already across the road. This was a perfect encounter with underwater creatures. I believe that since I came here, I will never be interested in those smaller oceanariums again. I went to Qujiang Oceanarium when I first arrived in Xi'an, and it was simply not on the same level as this one. And one of the things that satisfied me the most was that there were no vendors during the visit. If you want to buy souvenirs, there is a special shopping point at the end of the visit.
Not bad. Qingdao and even Shandong have a pretty good underwater world. It's a pity that I didn't go in Xiamen, but it's worth going in Qingdao. There are many kinds of marine animals, many of which are rare, which can greatly enrich your knowledge of marine animals. However, because I have been to Qingdao less, I am still not sure how to get there, and most of the roads in Qingdao are not exactly south or north, and the direction along the coast is not very clear.
Qingdao Underwater World is quite famous, with a wide variety of attractions and always attracting a lot of people.
I went there by bus. There were many animals there. It was worth seeing.
It's okay to bring children to see it, but you have to choose the right time. There are a lot of people during holidays, but there are also many shows. When we went there, we happened to catch the underwater show.
It is considered rare in China. I love jellyfish very much. They are very beautiful. Especially for us, it is a good choice if we accidentally encounter rainy days.
On the way from Luxun Park to Badaguan, we passed by the Underwater World and went in to take a look. Overall, I thought it was pretty good. It is connected to various aquariums and you can buy a pass and go anywhere you want. I personally think it is more suitable for taking children there. If you have been to other underwater worlds, there is actually not much difference.
After leaving Xiaoyushan Park, I was originally going to Luxun Park, but as I was walking, I passed by Qingdao Underwater World. I had previously planned to go to Haichang Polar Ocean World, but since I was already here, I might as well just visit this place. Meeting here is also fate.
This is when the advantage of the off-season comes into play. You can see whatever you want, there is no one crowding you, and you don’t have to worry about not being able to see due to crowds. You can leisurely appreciate the beauty of the underwater world and feel the magic of nature’s creation.
The off-season pass is 110 yuan, and the peak season pass is 130 yuan.
Note: Be sure to keep your ticket safe and swipe it several times. Don't lose it.
Tour order: Jellyfish Palace → Marine Animal Hall → Marine Life Hall → Whale Hall → Underwater World → Freshwater Biology Hall
The entire tour follows a fixed route and you will never get lost.
Tips: The ticket office has the performance time of the day. After coming out of the underwater passage, the performance will be held in the negative four central underwater hall of the underwater world.
Mermaid Show – 9:30am, 2pm
Shark-Human Dance Show – 11:00, 12:00, 15:30
Melodrama: Undersea Back Garden——10:15/14:45
We were lucky, we bought the tickets at the ticket office at 10:30, and just caught the shark show at 12:00. People sat in front of the glass curtain, watching the show excitedly like kindergarten children.
