There are many varieties of flowers in Qingdao Zhongshan Park, but cherry blossoms are the most famous. April is the best time to enjoy cherry blossoms. People who want to see cherry blossoms should not miss this time. I went there on April 1, 2019, but it was too early. Only one cherry tree in the park was in bloom, and the others were still buds. At that time, I asked that April 8 is the Zhongshan Park Cherry Blossom Festival, so friends who want to see cherry blossoms should ask about the best time to go every year. Zhongshan Park is a place you can't miss when you go to Qingdao to see cherry blossoms. It is recommended to go there during the cherry blossom season! Also, there is no ticket for Zhongshan Park, it is free! !

The park is lush with trees and luxuriant branches and leaves, and is the most distinctive scenic spot in Qingdao's urban vegetation landscape. The park is adjacent to Taiping Mountain in the east and connected to Qingdao Botanical Garden; it is backed by Qingdao Zoo and Qingdao Beech Forest Park in the north, and Baihua Garden in the west. Nearly a hundred species of trees are integrated with the park's four-season flowers and trees, forming a vast sea of trees. Zhongshan Park is a relatively old park in Qingdao. It has a history of more than 100 years. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea to the south. What I feel most about Zhongshan Park is that there are many plants and they are rich in variety, which makes it leave a deep impression on me. And the biggest "brand" of Zhongshan Park should be its cherry blossoms. Every April and May, Zhongshan Park will gather a lot of tourists to watch the cherry blossoms. Whether it is full of branches or falling "cherry" colorful, it is a unique artistic conception. April is also the annual Cherry Blossom Festival, which can't be missed! If you are a Qingdao native, you must take a "Cherry Blossom Tour" that you can go on a whim. In addition to the beautiful green trees and red flowers, Zhongshan Park is also close to the zoo. In addition to purifying your eyes in the vitality, you can also look at the dynamic animals and experience the vivid beauty. There are 18 unique animal houses here, including the Monkey House, the Orangutan House, the Monkey Mountain, the Bird Cage, the Songbird House, the Lion and Tiger Mountain, and the Children's Pet Park, exhibiting hundreds of species and more than a thousand animals. You can bring your children along to observe the animals up close.

After coming out of Zhongshan Park, we went to Taitung. Taitung must be recommended here. Take bus No. 219, get on at Qingdao Zhongshan Park Station, get off at Hisense Interchange North Station, and take 5 stops to get there. Taitung Shopping Circle is mainly a pedestrian street with various small shops of various kinds. Basically, you can find whatever you want to buy. The various snacks dazzled me, such as yogurt purple rice dew, Taiwan sausage and milk sticks are all delicious, and I was full while walking. And when you come to Qingdao, you must want to take some authentic specialties home. I found "Qingdao Someone's Specialty Shop" on the Internet. The specific address is No. 118, Taidong 3rd Road, Shibei District, and followed the map navigation. There are quite a lot of things in the store, such as beer crisps, rose cream, hand-torn squid, crab chili sauce, sea cucumber mushroom sauce, wolfberry ginger candy, red date slices, daifuku, etc. The date is fresh, and the store is also very clean. The overall feeling is good!

The cherry blossom area in Qingdao's Zhongshan Park is over 1,100 acres, including a 660-meter-long Cherry Blossom Street. Wen Yiduo described the cherry blossom viewing scene in Zhongshan Park in his "Impression of Qingdao" as follows: "In mid-April, the gorgeous Japanese cherry blossoms bloom like a river in the sky. Two rows of cherry blossoms ten miles long meander on the mountain path. You walk under the trees, and when you look up you can only see the sky embroidered with cherry blossoms."

Qingdao Zhongshan Park is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea to the south. It is lush with trees and is the most distinctive scenic spot in Qingdao.

By Amazing |

Every early April, Qingdao Zhongshan Park welcomes the cherry blossom season. Single and double cherry blossoms take turns to hang on the branches. Looking around, it is really a piece of snow-white. When the spring breeze blows, the petals fall one after another. It is not an exaggeration to say that it is a cherry blossom rain. If you want to enjoy the cherry blossoms, just get off at Zhongshan Park Station on the subway.

By /wx Meeting on a Strange Road |

During the German rule, a small village was transformed into a botanical garden, with cherry blossoms planted throughout the garden. Later, Japan further expanded the planting of cherry blossoms, forming the current cherry blossom corridor. In spring, the cherry blossoms in the garden are in full bloom, creating a world of pink and white.

I even suspected that we had entered a park for the elderly, because I didn't see many young people on the road. There were mostly old people and children. Then, after walking for a while, there was nothing surprising. After checking the travel guide, I roughly understood that the best time to visit Zhongshan Park is April and May, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. If we go there now, we will probably just be listening to the cicadas' caroling.

I took a round trip cable car in Zhongshan Park. The scenery was very beautiful.

By threeox |

The driver tricked us into taking the cable car to Zhongshan Park. My wife and kids were very happy because we could ride it as many times as we wanted. However, there wasn't much to see in Zhongshan Park except the trees.

The cherry blossoms are blooming so beautifully in Zhongshan Park.

Never touch them with your hands. The beauty of the delicate petals only exists under the rule of not being toyed with. It has a bit of abstinence and can only be viewed from a distance.

By Hi 5en |

Full of expectations, if the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, if not, it's worth the trip to feel the scenery inside. It's a place with a humanistic atmosphere.

By White |

Viewing the cherry blossoms in Zhongshan Park was probably the most important part of this trip for me.

Although there are cherry blossoms in other places in Qingdao, Zhongshan Park is probably the best place to enjoy cherry blossoms in the city.

To be honest, when I saw the cherry blossoms blooming on both sides of the road, I was so moved by the beautiful scenery that I even forgot to look at the road while walking.

I spent the entire afternoon immersed in the sea of cherry blossoms in Zhongshan Park, and time was long forgotten.

There is a very famous cherry blossom avenue in Zhongshan Park, however, we have been missing the cherry blossom season all the way here. When we arrived in Qingdao, the cherry blossoms were basically out of bloom, but there were still a few cherry trees in the park with cherry blossoms in full bloom. When the wind blew, there was a shower of cherry blossoms, which was so beautiful!

By Hyde |

It is one of the few parks in the city. It is quite large and next to the zoo, with a very good environment.

Zhongshan Park is a European garden with abundant green plants, just like a natural oxygen bar ~ 100 points ~

The simplicity and freshness can be fully expressed in Zhongshan Park. There are many places to take photos in Zhongshan Park, especially the sunshine after the rain, with shadows of trees, which looks like the Norwegian Forest.

By Chapter as usual |

We took a taxi to Zhongshan Park to see the cherry blossoms, because we have never seen the ones in Japan or Wuhan! So, there is no harm without comparison. I insist that the cherry blossoms in Zhongshan Park are the most beautiful.

The cherry blossoms in Zhongshan Park are so beautiful that a 90s-born aunt like me can’t help but feel excited. Hahahahahaha~~~~~

(Those who are coming in April must go to see the cherry blossoms! It should be more beautiful if you go earlier when there are fewer people~)

The only bad thing is that there are too many people~~~~~~~~~

We went there around 10 o'clock. Although it was not a weekend, there were still many tourists! It is recommended that you go early during the cherry blossom season.

By zzz |

The purpose of our visit to Zhongshan Park was to see the cherry blossoms, but the rain basically washed away all the cherry blossoms...

The flowers have almost fallen, otherwise the road in the second picture below would be super beautiful! ! It's beautiful just thinking about it! !

Zhongshan Park is very close to Badaguan. It is actually a German-style eight-lane road, suitable for viewing the scenery and taking photos.

By I vowed to travel the world |

Zhongshan Park in April is really beautiful! The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, but there are also a lot of people. If you go earlier, there will be fewer people. I arrived around 9 o'clock, and it was a Monday. There were already some tour groups and elderly people playing there. If I went later, it would definitely be crowded, and there were also many people taking wedding photos. The weather was really good that day, and the scenery was also very good.

By Geng Xiaoxin |

I went there once in September, but the weather was not very good. I went there again in April. Although the sun didn't come out much, there were cherry blossoms. It was really beautiful. There were a lot of people. When I looked up, I saw cherry blossoms. The wind blew and the ground was covered with cherry blossom petals. It was so light and reminded me of 5 Centimeters per Second. I hope I can go see the cherry blossoms again if I have the chance.

By Hanhan |

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and the scenery is beautiful. There are many visitors. There is also a large lawn in the park where you can rest and have a picnic. There is also a children's park (with many amusement facilities such as pirate ships and bumper cars) suitable for bringing your little friends to play.

I haven't been to the local Zhongshan Park for many years. I had nothing to do this afternoon, so I came here to join in the fun and enjoy the cherry blossoms! ~~

By Live like a summer flower |

Wow! I suddenly felt like I was traveling. There were so many people here, both locals and outsiders, many elderly and children, and various tour groups. I suddenly lost interest.

Maybe because of the weather, the flowers have not fully opened, and are just budding, dotted here and there.

The breeze blows through the rain of flowers

Zhongshan Park covers an area of 1,100 acres, and the cherry blossoms are mainly concentrated in the west, including a 660-meter-long Cherry Blossom Street with cherry trees planted on both sides of the road.

The forsythia, peach, crabapple, redbud, peach blossoms, etc. in the garden also appeared. It happened to be a weekend, the weather was fine, and the East Garden was full of flowers and tourists.

The most distinctive feature is the two cable cars, which allow you to tour the park and enjoy the scenery.

By Bai Xubo |

Wherever there is a high place, you must climb it. Although there are many mountains in Qingdao city, the Taiping Mountain in Zhongshan Park is closer to the core urban area. But the height is a little different, and the overlooking angle is a little worse. If you go to the top of the mountain and then go to the TV tower, the view should be better. But because the altitude is not high, there is a road that can drive all the way up, which is also convenient. The park itself feels average, but it is said that it is very good when various flowers bloom in spring. In addition, the route from Beijing to Qingdao, flying from the coast to the land in the north of the Jiaodong Peninsula, will go south all the way, fly to the sea above Qingdao, then make a 180° turn, and then fly to Liuting Airport. Just when I turned around and flew over the city of Qingdao, it was easy to see Taiping Mountain and the signal tower, and the bird's-eye view effect was very good.

By Shelley-Double |

When I went there, I happened to catch the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the chrysanthemum exhibition in Zhongshan Park, but 🌹the flowers were not in full bloom.

In spring, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Zhongshan Park. When the wind blows, the cherry blossoms fly all over the sky, which is very beautiful. However, there are too many people, which spoils the scenery. You can see the night cherry blossoms at night.

I went there in late July 2017. The weather was quite hot. I suggest visiting the park after dusk. Zhongshan Park is a comprehensive recreational park. It holds a lantern festival every summer. The 2017 Zhongshan Park·Happy World Summer Lantern Festival is held from June 23 to August 31 (70 days) and is open from 18:00 to 22:00. The lantern festival invited lantern makers from Zigong, Sichuan, who are the inheritors of this intangible cultural heritage. The lantern festival is quite beautiful. The park is very large and worth a good visit. Tickets can be purchased online at a discount. You can buy lantern festival tickets alone, or a Happy World pass, which includes some rides. Zhongshan Park has convenient transportation and is directly accessible by subway.

Zhongshan Park is the largest comprehensive park in Qingdao. The park is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea to the south, creating a natural beauty.

The park is lush with trees and leaves, and is the most distinctive scenic spot in Qingdao. The park is adjacent to Taiping Mountain in the east, and the Qingdao Botanical Garden on the southern foot of the mountain has nearly 100 species of trees and flowers in the park in all seasons, forming a vast and lush sea of trees.

The park's annual summer lantern festival and late autumn chrysanthemum exhibition are also the most popular activities for tourists. Every midsummer night, the park lights up with all kinds of official lanterns, gauze lanterns, boat lanterns and traditional lanterns from Chengdu, Zigong, Nanjing and other places competing for beauty and color, attracting countless lantern fans. The golden autumn chrysanthemum exhibition began as early as the 1950s, and more than 700 varieties are exhibited each year. The purple handsome flag, black ink lotus, as well as the mandarin duck spreading its wings and the Pegasus forcing the wind are all the treasures of chrysanthemums that people love.

Many tourists come to see the cherry blossoms in April every year, but the flowering period is very short, usually about ten days after Qingming Festival. You have to keep an eye on it. This year, I went on April 22nd and basically there were no more cherry blossoms. But the other plants in the scenic area are also very good, but there are too many people on weekends. Also, although the scenic spot is free, the parking fee is too expensive.

By Chen the clever one |

I missed the cherry blossoms and wanted to give up Zhongshan Park, but later I found that there are not only cherry blossoms here, but also peach blossoms, lilacs, crabapples, and February orchids in late April, all of which are equally beautiful. In addition to flower viewing, the park also has music performances. We encountered a large-scale band and a three-member women's band, both of which were equally passionate and very exciting!

As a famous tourist attraction of Qingdao, Zhongshan Park is never short of tourists. If you want to have a good time, it is best to come early, otherwise when the tour groups arrive, there will be no place to stand!

As for the parking lot, there are only 200 parking spaces inside, and it’s very tight!

Zhongshan Park is the largest comprehensive park in Qingdao. The park is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea to the south. Nature has created this beautiful place. The park is lush with trees and luxuriant branches and leaves. It is the most distinctive scenic spot in Qingdao. The park is adjacent to Taiping Mountain in the east and connected to Qingdao Botanical Garden; it is adjacent to Qingdao Zoo and Qingdao Beech Forest Park in the north, and to Baihua Garden in the west. Nearly 100 kinds of trees are connected with the park's flowers and trees of all seasons. The vast sea of trees is lush and green. Visiting it gives people a fresh, pleasant and prosperous feeling.

Zhongshan Park was built in the early 20th century. In 1898, after Germany occupied Jiaozhou Bay and forced the Qing government to lease Qingdao, it opened the area as a plant experimental field in 1902 and 1905. It was later named "Forest Park". After the Sino-German War in 1914, Japan ruled Qingdao on behalf of Germany and further expanded the planting of cherry blossoms, forming a cherry blossom corridor nearly 1 km long running through the north and south of the park. The park was also renamed "Meeting Park" and "Asahi Park". After my country regained sovereignty over Qingdao in 1922, it was renamed "First Park". In May 1929, in memory of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the pioneer of China's democratic revolution, it was renamed "Zhongshan Park", and this name has been used ever since.

The cherry blossoms, cedars and peaches in Zhongshan Park are well-known specialty plants.

Zhongshan Park is the largest park in Qingdao. It is close to the zoo and botanical garden. It is full of greenery and is very nice. Due to the season when I went there, the cherry blossoms were gone. If you want to see the cherry blossoms, it is best to go in March or April. It is absolutely great.

By Mysterious Ark |

This score is only for the current Zhongshan Park. When I went there last time, I couldn't find the feeling of the past. The photos are taken by me here many years ago, because it left me with good memories, which is why I took these photos at that time.

By Kif |

The park is quite large, and the park can be described as lush and green. The vegetation covers a large area, and it feels a bit primitive. I missed the flower season when I came here, and only some roses (or peonies) were still blooming. I heard that early May is the season when cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and the scenery will be better.

By If you can hug me deeply, don't push me away |

I have been to Qingdao many times. I didn't see the cherry blossoms last time I came to Zhongshan Park. This time I came for the cherry blossoms. Some of the cherry blossoms have already faded and are not in their prime, but I still like them because I really love cherry blossoms. The only negative comment is that there are more people than cherry blossoms. The transportation here in Zhongshan Park is relatively convenient, and many buses go here, but it is not so convenient to eat... The cherry blossom avenue in the middle is really a highlight of Zhongshan Park. Finally, I have to say that you must take care of these flowers and plants~

By Candied Haws Mom |

I heard that you can see cherry blossoms here during the May Day holiday, so we walked from Badaguan, because the place we were just at was only one kilometer away from here. This place is 1 kilometer away from Badaguan, but it is another scene. It is not an exaggeration to describe it as a sea of people. It is really too lively. This is also a free park, and the place is quite large. We mainly looked at the cherry blossom garden and maple leaf garden. Qingdao citizens have various talent activities here, singing, a variety of musical instruments, and various small teams. The atmosphere of life is very strong. It is estimated that there are also many citizen activities in this park on weekdays. It is a good place for the elderly to spend time. Cherry blossoms are like this, deeper and richer, very beautiful. Although it is a bit out of season, there are still a few beautiful ones. No wonder people always go to see cherry blossoms and take pictures. It must be more beautiful when all are in full bloom. I don’t know if it’s because it’s free, there are really too many people here, which is not good. There are people everywhere, it’s not clean at all, you can’t appreciate the scenery quietly, and you can’t enjoy the comfort of the park.

Going west along the Botanical Garden, you will reach Zhongshan Park. Zhongshan Park is very large. I first came to a square. There were not many people on the square. It was full of green. Every twenty days before and after May 1st, Qingdao's annual Cherry Blossom Festival will be held here, and it will be very lively.

The first place I came to was Maple Forest Garden. In the spring, the maple forest had green leaves that were so tender that they were even a little yellow, accompanied by ancient maple flowers. This was a novel experience that was completely different from autumn. Autumn had red clouds, and spring also had a different kind of green beauty.

Following the sign, I walked towards the plum garden. The plum blossoms in the garden were in full bloom. There were plum trees on both sides of the road. It was as if I was in a sea of plum blossoms, immersed in a world of white, red and pink.

The garden was full of tourists, holding their mobile phones and cameras and taking pictures. Among them were many "old masters", some holding telephoto cannons, some shooting birds and appreciating plum blossoms.

No matter what, the plum blossom is so attractive, and its fragrance makes people stop for a long time and unwilling to leave.

After visiting the plum garden, we followed the signs and headed for the most attractive cherry blossom avenue. Along the way, we saw many elderly people holding a "middle-aged and elderly ballroom dance event" here, which was quite interesting.

After crossing a very distinctive imitation cable-stayed bridge, you will soon reach Cherry Blossom Avenue.

However, when I arrived at the Cherry Blossom Avenue, I was a little disappointed and regretful - the cherry blossoms had not yet bloomed. But looking at the cherry blossom trees on both sides of the road, I could imagine how beautiful it would be when the cherry blossoms bloomed and a breeze blew and the cherry blossom rain fell. Although the cherry blossoms had not yet bloomed, the plum blossoms were enough to make up for the lack of color.

In addition to cherry blossoms, there are also many flowers in Zhongshan Park, such as peach blossoms, osmanthus, peonies, chrysanthemums, plum blossoms, tulips, etc. There are different flower landscapes in different seasons. So there is no need to worry. Just have a relaxed mentality of a flower admirer and slowly wander in the sea of flowers. The world will always become bright and clear.

Walking towards the peony garden, the peonies have not yet bloomed, but the red bauhinia flowers we met on the road are also blooming in full bloom, making the spring in Zhongshan Park lively.

Continue strolling to the Magnolia Garden, where the white magnolias are already in bloom. The flowers are as white as snow, shaped like lanterns, crystal clear and beautiful. The magnolias are high on the branches, neither flattering nor vulgar, but fresh and pleasant, with a subtle fragrance floating in the air.

We continued to stroll around Zhongshan Park, enjoying the scenery and flowers, and then prepared to leave and head to the next destination.

If you go to Cherry Blossom Avenue in April or May, you can see many varieties of cherry blossoms! You can take beautiful photos. There is a small playground inside. Some things are not fun. It is recommended not to be fooled! There are many paths in Zhongshan Park. It is a good place to take a walk after a day of playing.

Very good, very big, Zhongshan Park is free, but there is also an amusement park inside, you have to pay extra to play, around April the cherry blossoms are in bloom, very beautiful, of course there will be more people, I suggest you don't go on weekends, otherwise you won't be able to take good photos. It's worth a visit.

It is good to go in April and May to enjoy the blooming flowers, but it is not very fun to visit at other times. You can overlook Qingdao from the TV tower on the mountain.

Qingdao’s Zhongshan Park is very large and has many gardens. It should be a good place to see flower shows in the spring. Unfortunately, I didn’t see any when I went there in January, but the park was still green.

Zhongshan Park is known in many cities, probably because of the two words "Zhongshan". The park is adjacent to Taiping Mountain in the east and connected to Qingdao Botanical Garden; it is adjacent to Qingdao Zoo and Qingdao Beech Forest Park in the north, and to Baihua Garden with nearly 100 kinds of trees in the west, which is connected with the park's flowers and trees of all seasons. It is definitely a good place to enjoy flowers.

Although it is not the season when cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it is still worth a visit. The park is not only visited by tourists from all over the world, but also by local people who come here to relax.
