Jinan's Spring City Square is connected to Plaza 66 and Furong Street in the north, faces Jiefang Pavilion across the moat in the east, and is adjacent to the world's number one spring, Baotu Spring, in the west. It can be said to be the center of Jinan and the heart of the Spring City.

It rises from the intersection of the main axis of the square and the secondary axis of Bangpeng Street, which is rare in China. It takes the charm of the seal character "Spring", and the three spring-like shapes rise up, which is in line with the creativity of the Jinan city logo. The ground paving pattern is derived from the description of the city in historical books, and is equipped with 72 springs and four groups of springs. The solidified "spring" and the gushing spring rise majestically from the "city", reflecting the style of the Spring City and expressing the infinite homesickness of the people of the Spring City.
