Shandong Museum

Shandong Museum is located in the eastern part of Jinan City. It is the earliest provincial comprehensive geographical museum established in China. It covers an area of about 34,000 square meters and a building area of about 21,000 square meters. So far, the museum has more than 140,000 cultural relics and nearly 10,000 natural specimens, with a rich display category. The magnificent and elegant building complex reflects the combination of national style and modern art, and has become a major landscape of Jinan, a famous historical and cultural city in China. Here, you can see a large number of ancient ceramics, bronzes, ancient books and paintings, oracle bones, Han Dynasty stone reliefs and other cultural relics. Among them, the red pottery animal-shaped pot unearthed from the Dawenkou site, the oracle bones of the Shang Dynasty, the large jade bi of the State of Lu in the Warring States Period, the bamboo slips of "The Art of War" and "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu, and the murals of the Dongping Han Tomb are all treasures of the museum. They are very rare and only occasionally exhibited. There is a souvenir shop and a cafe on the first floor of the museum. The cafe can provide simple meals; there are water dispensers on each floor to provide boiled water. If you are tired of visiting, there are many rest seats in the museum for you to rest.

As a free but priceless cultural carrier, the museum is definitely the soul of a city, so if you want to understand a city, you have to start with the museum. I personally don’t have the habit of taking photos in museums (mostly taking photos of buildings, basically not cultural relics and collections), so there are very few photos. If you want to see them, you can go to the official website to view high-definition pictures.

The large open space in front of the Shandong Museum is open for parking. If you want to take a photo of the empty museum building, you must come early. When there are a lot of people, the outside will be full of densely packed cars (imagine the scene in this picture where the open space in front is full of cars, it is simply too "beautiful").

As soon as you enter the lobby, you can see the poster for the Shandong Museum episode of "National Treasure". The day we arrived was the day this episode was broadcast, but we could only watch it in the evening.

A huge emerald jade bi is inlaid on the top of the hall of Shandong Museum. Jade bi is one of the traditional jade articles of my country, and it is collected in almost all large museums in China. However, it is the first time to see such a huge ceiling like the one in Shandong Museum, which is really shocking.

In addition to some famous permanent exhibitions, there is also the African Wildlife Migration Exhibition consisting of animal specimens donated by Kenneth Behring. The exhibition hall is very well designed. Adults will not find it childish, and children will like it even more.

I have visited many large museums in China, including the National Museum of China. The Shandong Museum is my favorite at present, not because of how precious and rich its exhibits are, but because it is more educational. Few museums will list the reading and use of each bronze separately in the ancient bronze exhibition area, and few museums will explain the specific meaning of the Buddha's gestures in the ancient Buddha cultural area... But the Shandong Museum has it, and both the content and the artistic expression are good, concise and easy to understand, which must be praised!

By Look around |

As far as I can remember, Shandong Museum has moved three times, from next to Qilu Hospital on Wenhua West Road to the foot of Qianfo Mountain on Jingshiyi Road, and then to the current new site of Shandong Museum. The museum has a lot of collections and often holds special exhibitions, but they are scattered and fragmented; and the existing exhibitions introducing Shandong history are dull and lack vitality, which makes people feel that there is a lack of a memorable Shandong historical context.

The King of Zhou destroyed the Shang Dynasty and divided the world into fiefdoms. Jiang Ziya, who assisted in the administration, was the first to gain the State of Qi, and Duke Zhou gained the State of Lu. From then on, the lands of Qi and Lu led the world and dominated the East.

Governing the country with rites and establishing people with rites. Two thousand five hundred years ago, Confucius might not have expected that his thoughts would have such a profound and far-reaching impact on Chinese civilization.

The mountains and rivers of Qi and Lu are full of courtesy. China is called Xia because of its great courtesy; it is called Hua because of its beautiful clothing. "Clothes" are the best way to materialize the courtesy system. They are the epitome of courtesy. We are worthy of the name of a country of clothing and etiquette. These are actually the signs of our transition from ignorance to civilization. If you don't govern with courtesy, your government will not work. For a country, courtesy is indispensable. It is because people cannot live without courtesy, things cannot be accomplished without courtesy, and the country cannot be peaceful without courtesy, so courtesy can be used to cultivate oneself, to regulate the family, and even to pacify the world.

Visiting provincial museums is a traditional activity. All the good things of a province are here. We took advantage of the afternoon to kill time. Shandong Provincial Museum is full of technology, which is also my feeling after visiting many provincial museums across the country. The most intuitive thing is that the display boards of cultural relics here are electronic screens, replacing the original paper cards. By flipping the screen up and down, the audience can get more information about the cultural relics. This feels great!

Today's Provincial Museum was built in 2010 and is located at No. 11899, Jingshi East Road, Lixia District, covering an area of 210 acres. The main building has five floors, and the first three floors are exhibition halls open to the public.

At first, I went there for the funny jokes on the Internet, but when I walked into the Shandong Museum, I was completely shocked! The collection is still very rich, and it is definitely a great learning experience. It seems that you can use your ID card to verify (I went there in November 2019, and my impression is vague) to pass the gate (free ticket). There is a service desk at the entrance, where you can get free brochures, or you can follow the museum WeChat account (then enter the number in front of each exhibit to listen to the explanation for free, but remember to bring headphones). It is recommended to go to the second floor first. The exhibition hall on the second floor is more exciting, mainly showing the local culture of Shandong Province, and there are many interactions. The first floor is a Han Dynasty portrait exhibition. It is recommended to go in first (there is a looping animation of the Han Dynasty tomb chamber) and come out to enjoy it slowly after watching the movie. The third floor is an exhibition of the essence of archaeological knowledge, and there is also the Great Migration of Africa (but I was tired and hungry and missed it). In short, you must eat and drink enough before checking in, especially for tourists from other places like me. After all, the museum is far from the railway station, so be prepared to take a long bus ride. (It’s really the kind of length where you can fall asleep without worrying about missing your stop!)

As the Shandong Provincial Museum, the collections in the museum are undoubtedly second to none. If you visit on weekends, you may encounter a lot of people, so it is recommended to visit on weekdays.

By Water Cloud Sky |

It should be given a high score. I listened to the explanations of three volunteers on Sunday, some of whom told historical stories and were more knowledgeable than ordinary tour guides.

You can listen to the audio explanation of the important exhibits directly on WeChat. The key exhibits are in Halls 6, 7 and 8 on the 2nd floor. The Luwang Hall on the 1st floor is also good. I was hungry and kept walking until I had to catch the train. BRT5 takes one bus to Jinan Station, and the transportation is very convenient.

The Art of War, court dress, Warring States large bowl with small bowl inside, Dongping Han tomb murals, red pottery animal-shaped pot, Song Gui, eggshell black pottery cup, Lu State large jade bi, Banqiao stone pine painting, Yachou axe, nine-tassel crown, everything, in line with my pursuit of perfection...

The exhibition layout of Shandong Provincial Museum is quite attentive. The Han Dynasty stone reliefs and Buddha statues are worth seeing (the Buddha statue feels like an advertisement for Qingzhou Museum), as well as the tomb of a prince from the early Ming Dynasty.

The Shandong Provincial Museum is quite large, with exhibition halls of different themes. I love the Ancient Science and Technology Museum the most.

By Tranquility |

It feels pretty good. There were not many people in the museum on the first day of National Day! There are many treasures, a comprehensive museum, and a lot of introductions to ancient times, but there are relatively few porcelains! It should be because the cultural heritage is too profound😄

I just feel that there are so few Qi and Lu cultural relics handed down, especially after visiting the Shaanxi History Museum, I feel a bit disappointed when visiting the Shandong museum. As for the ten treasures of the museum, I only know "The Art of War" and I don't know the others, hahahaha, it would be great if I knew all of them.

The first floor is full of temporary exhibition halls, and the main content is on the second floor. As the site of Dawenkou and Longshan cultures, and the site of Qi and Lu during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the content is good, but it still feels a bit weak in some areas. For example, many headless Buddha statues after the destruction of Buddhism were taken out for exhibition. The light sensitivity of many exhibition windows is not good. I understand that the colored murals require dim light, but I don’t know how to trigger it to light up when some areas are dark.

By AKi Road R |

The museum itself is very good, but I met a terrible repairman. When we went there, we saw the lights at the exit of Hall 19 on the third floor. A worker with a ladder blocked the exit door. If there is no stroller, you can go through the side of the person with the ladder. We pushed the stroller and said "Excuse me, please help me" three times, but he pretended not to hear us, did not turn his head, did not speak, and did not give way. After we said it for the third time, the man said, "What if something falls and hits you? Go out through that exit (exhibition hall entrance)." 1. The exit door was not closed during the repair process, and there was no sign. Why didn't they let us go? 2. If they didn't let us go, why did they let others go? 3. If they only restricted the passage of strollers, why didn't they tell us, but pretended not to hear? 4. We took our children to visit from Hall 1 on the first floor to Hall 19 on the third floor. We were very tired. They just asked us to go back and go out through the entrance. Did they consider our feelings? 5. In the end, we still went through without the man giving way to us. The stroller was pressed against the door frame and the man's pants. It means we can pass through. We just hope he will give us more space to pass through. He was so lazy that he didn't even want to lift his legs. What kind of quality is this? If he immediately gave way when we asked him to "excuse me", we could pass through faster and there would be no danger of "things falling and hitting us". Meeting such a guy ruined the overall impression of the museum, so the service can only be given two stars, no higher.

By Echo ⛷️ |

Led by the guide, we mainly visited the two museums on the second floor, the Treasure of King Lu - the Exhibition of Cultural Relics Unearthed from the Tomb of Zhu Tan in the Ming Dynasty and the Shandong History and Culture Exhibition. These two museums are very worth seeing.

By A Hao can't get fat |

Shandong's provincial museum has many attractions. Since the words "Shandong Museum" are written in a unique way and are easy to be misread, people often tease it as "the one with the mistress in mind".

By Black Horse |

Turn left from Zhonghao Hotel, and walk along Jiefang Road and cross Lishan Road to the "Jiefangqiaodong" bus stop, where you can take K63 or 119 to the Shandong Museum. When I arrived at the stop, a K63 just happened to come, so I got on the bus and got off at "Sanjian Ping'anyuan". I had to cross a large construction site and walk a long way to reach the south gate of the Shandong Museum (this is the main entrance), which is not a very good choice. You should take bus 119, and the stop is the "Provincial Museum". When you get off, the Shandong Museum is across the road, which is the most convenient. There is a BRT5 bus in front of the museum that goes to Jinan Railway Station, and the journey takes about 1 hour. After the visit, I took the BRT5 directly to Jinan Railway Station to go home

I visited the Buddhist Sculpture Art Exhibition, the Han Dynasty Portrait Art Exhibition, the Shandong History and Culture Exhibition, and the Treasure of the Prince of Lu - the Exhibition of Cultural Relics Unearthed from the Ming Zhu Tan Tomb. They were all very good. In particular, the Han Dynasty Portrait Art Exhibition and the Treasure of the Prince of Lu - the Exhibition of Cultural Relics Unearthed from the Ming Zhu Tan Tomb may be the characteristics of the Shandong Museum and deserve special attention.

There is a direct bus. You can enter by swiping your ID card to get a ticket. You can get a guide at the entrance and rent a guide with a deposit, but you probably won't be able to rent one if you go too late. You may encounter volunteers explaining in various museums. You can listen to the explanations to learn about the background stories of different cultural relics. When visiting a museum, you will always encounter some uneducated adults and their children. The behavior of dissuading them is really disgusting. When visiting, please be careful not to turn on the flash to take pictures, and don't touch the exhibits. I met a family in the stone carving exhibition hall. The children stood inside the railing of the exhibits and held the stone carvings with their hands. The parents also asked the two children to pose for pictures. There was a sign next to them prohibiting touching. I went up and told the little girl that I couldn't touch the stone carvings with my hands. The little girl gave me a white eye and ignored me and continued to pose until the staff came over to stop their disgusting photos. What kind of adults educate what kind of children. I also met a little volunteer who led the explanation of the exhibition hall. The little girl spoke in a serious manner. She must have done a lot of homework before. The explanation was quite fluent, which made me admire her.

Shandong Museum has a free ticket with a provincial ID card. I saw a lot of interesting things after entering.

Especially the animal specimens on the top, which are very realistic and worth appreciating.

By A lone sail coming from the horizon |

There are not many highlights but it is still worth a visit, you can learn about the history of Shandong Province. Foreign tourists are advised to only visit the main exhibition area about the history of Shandong Province if time is tight. The transportation and food here are very convenient, and the tickets are free but an ID card is required.

As the source of Qilu culture where ancient saints and sages gathered, the Shandong Provincial Museum is not to be missed. The museum is far from the city, so it is recommended to take a taxi. We arrived at the museum around noon. There were not many visitors, and you could pick up your ticket for free with your ID card. Compared with the overcrowded Shaanxi History Museum, the Shandong Museum is a rare quiet place, suitable for a peaceful visit and reminiscing about history.

The [Yangxin Hall of the Forbidden City] exhibition is the signature exhibition here. Shandong Museum cooperates with the Forbidden City to restore the appearance and style of the Yangxin Hall of the Forbidden City. The exhibition hall imitates the architectural appearance and interior furnishings of the Yangxin Hall, creating a Forbidden City palace in the land of Qilu.

Fans of "Startling by Each Step" should not miss this place to experience up close the place where Ruoxi and the Fourth Master got to know each other and stayed together.

In addition to the [Palace of Mental Cultivation], the most worth seeing in the museum is the [Top Ten Treasures of the Museum]. These are the ten treasures selected by the Shandong Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau based on the opinions of experts and the public. They can be said to be the best of the best. For a detailed introduction to the top ten treasures of the museum, please click:

When you go to a place, it is best to visit the local museum, which can quickly understand the local cultural characteristics. The provincial museum is really well built, and you can get a ticket with your ID card, but the ticket will not be checked, which feels a bit wasteful. At first, the first and second floors are probably some cultural relics, and then the third floor is an exhibition hall of the African Wildlife Park. The animals are very realistic, and it feels like entering a zoo. Overall, it is worth a visit.

Highly recommended~Key: rent a guide, no rent, deposit 300. Automatically sense the location, automatically explain~very convenient, otherwise it's just a blind look. Highly recommend the 6.7.8.10 exhibition halls on the 2nd floor, which are the essence of the entire museum~The treasures of the town hall are bronze axe~eggshell black pottery cup~red pottery animal-shaped pot and Song Gui~

The Shandong Provincial Museum implements a policy of free admission but not free tickets, and the museum's ticketing system is very advanced, and tickets can be automatically issued by swiping your ID card.

The museum has four floors and the lobby is extremely bright and spacious.

There is a Confucius School in the Shandong Provincial Museum, which seems to be open to the public for free on weekends. There are cartoon Q-versions of Confucius in many corners of the museum, and their images are very cute.

Shandong Provincial Museum has 10 treasures, and the Yachou is the most famous one. It is actually an ancient torture device, but it has a cute face. The best way to visit a museum is to hire a guide or rent an interpreter, otherwise it will be very confusing.

By Harvey |

Just like what is said on the Internet, the words "Shandong Museum" do look a bit like "Shandong Mistress Museum", and it is strange that no one knows who wrote the words, and there is no signature. There is a different world inside. As soon as you enter the door, you can see a wide staircase extending from the first floor to the second floor. Many parents bring their children here to escape the summer heat.

You can get a free ticket by swiping your ID card. You can rent an interpreter at the service desk at the entrance. I went too late and it was sold out. It was a pity. I felt like I had lost 100 million.

All the Buddha statues in the Buddhist Sculpture Art Exhibition are incomplete, not a single one is complete, which makes people sigh.

The specimens in the African Wildlife Migration Exhibition are probably all made from real animals and are very lifelike.

The eternal sorrow, the dream of the Spring City. Six years of farewell, meet again in late autumn. Let alone the name of the museum handwritten by Master Han Meilin, which has caused a lot of jokes and praises, and the Han Dynasty stone reliefs that have brought together all kinds of styles and worships of the Han Dynasty, the works of Pan Yuliang, a generation of painting soul, which are praised all over the world and her legendary life story, are enough to make my 13-hour trip to Jinan worthwhile.

By Hu Qiuqiu |

The museum has rich collections of Dawenkou culture and Longshan culture, especially ceramics, bronzes, oracle bones, pottery inscriptions, seals, bamboo slips, and Han Dynasty stone reliefs, which allow people to feel the solemn sacrificial culture of ancient times.

There is also an exhibition hall inside which is an African animal specimen museum, which the children will definitely love!

All in all, the museum is quite interesting. You won’t have enough time to visit it without spending two or three hours.

After receiving the baptism of a wave of cultural relics and treasures, I, an uneducated person, still patiently accepted the influence of art~~~

Although Shandong has a long history, it has never been the capital of a unified dynasty. As an old empire with a long history of centralized power, not being the capital means that there will be no particularly outstanding cultural relics. Therefore, if you come to the Shandong Provincial Museum with the idea of seeing great treasures, you will definitely return disappointed.

The Shandong Provincial Museum is very large and has a wide variety of cultural relics on display. The most distinctive feature is the stone reliefs, especially the Dongping Han Tomb murals, the treasure of the museum. They are the earliest existing murals with colors in China. You can see the flowing clothes and slender figures of the Han people:)

In addition, the Buddhist statue exhibition hall displays several exquisite statues brought from Qingzhou Longxing Temple, but if you have been to Qingzhou Museum and seen better ones, you will forget what you have seen here.

The general history exhibition is of average quality and there are no impressive artifacts.

From Jinan Station and Jinan East Station, you can take BRT5 directly to the museum, but the road is quite far and it took more than 50 minutes. Get off the bus and cross the overpass. On the right is the art gallery and on the left is the museum. You can enter the museum for free with your ID card. You can borrow an interpreter for free with a deposit of 300. The manual interpretation is 80 per hour. We took a quick look and took some photos. It took two hours, and the detailed tour took four hours. Attached is the map of the museum

By Dream Traveler |

It's worth spending time in the museum. However, nearly one-third of the venues in Shandong Museum were closed during this trip. I visited the others. There is an African animal venue that I like very much.

By Yeson |

The Shandong Museum is located in Lixia District, which is a bit remote and far from other attractions in Jinan City. You can take BRT line 5, but I took Didi to go there and back.

The venue is large and the environment is excellent. The seven regular basic exhibitions are all good, with many fine cultural relics; there are also 2-3 special exhibitions. This time when I went to Shandong Museum, I was fortunate to visit the "Imperial Kiln·Royal Family-Ming Dynasty Official Kiln Porcelain Exhibition". The photos are all exhibits on display, most of which are collections of the Palace Museum and the Jingdezhen Porcelain Research Institute. In general, friends who are interested in historical relics or Shandong history must come.

By The Son of Heaven |

On the left side of the first floor, you can view the more famous collections here. It is best to follow the volunteers' explanations during the visit, especially the ancient civilization section, where most of the collections are concentrated.

By Qianxi chestnut |

Friends who like museums must go there. You can get a good understanding of Qilu culture, but the transportation is a bit far. It is best to take the BRT. The collection is exquisite. It is one of the top ten museums in China. You can enter with your ID card. I went there in August 2015. I didn't rent a guide at that time. In fact, I should have rented one.

The fourth of the treasures of Shandong Provincial Museum, I didn't take a complete picture. The jade bi is really delicate and beautiful. The bamboo slips were preserved in medicine, but I don't know what the specific ingredients of the medicine are.

By Math Teacher's Grocery Store |

In August, I heard that the Provincial Museum had an African Animal Migration Exhibition that children loved. The next day, I took my children to visit it. This was more than 350 African wildlife specimens donated to Shandong by Mr. Kenneth Behring, including running zebras, leaping wildebeests, majestic African lions, ferocious hyenas, cute dromedaries, etc., plus tree, grass, and rock specimens collected in Africa, with 3D animation displays, sound and light scene reproduction and other technological means, so that you can feel as if you are standing on the banks of the Mara River, and truly feel the unique charm of the African savannah. The children were overwhelmed by the sight, running up and down, and even enjoyed watching one place twice. What interested me was that there was a section that detailed the process of making these specimens in the form of pictures and texts. Its arduous, tedious, and extremely careful process further reflected the value of the specimens.

When you come to the Provincial Museum, you must see the Han Dynasty murals. As the saying goes, "half of the Han Dynasty steles in the world are in Shandong", and the Han Dynasty murals are no less than that. Although they originated from the wall carvings of the architectural stones of Han tombs or ancestral halls, they faithfully reflect the customs and practices 2,000 years ago. Some murals of mythological stories also provide us with clearer information in our pursuit of ancient figures.

As luck would have it, Shandong has the earliest stone portrait of Emperor Huangdi. The portrait of Emperor Huangdi in the Mausoleum of Emperor Huangdi in Shaanxi was made based on this. I always thought it was in the Provincial Museum, but I couldn't find it after searching every corner. So I took the liberty to ask a volunteer who was giving a tour, and she told me that the stone portrait was in the Wu Family Temple in Jiaxiang.

In the morning, Xiao Song and I visited the unearthed cultural relics of Ming Lu Wang, Yinqueshan and so on. In front of the bamboo slips of "The Art of War", I was "happy to be a teacher" and introduced to my son why the bamboo slips were preserved in this way and the story of the learned man. Considering that he had not yet come into contact with Sun Wu and Sun Bin, I did not introduce the significance of these bamboo slips!

The calligraphy of the ancient calligraphers was so profound that I think there are two points worth learning from them: strength and penetration. Without strength, one cannot have strong bones and muscles, and without penetration, one cannot have flesh and blood. The word "observation" is the necessary condition for penetration. The world outside is wonderful, and my children and I want to go and see it!

The nine-headed human-faced beast relief stone: Mr. Lu Xun mentioned in "Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk" that "there was once a illustrated version of the Classic of Mountains and Seas, which depicted beasts with human faces, nine-headed snakes, three-legged birds, people with wings, monsters without heads but with nipples as eyes,..." This may be the image that is closest to the era of the Classic of Mountains and Seas.

Sanyang Kaitai Stone Portrait: In ancient times, "Yang" and "Xiang" were homophones, meaning good luck and good fortune.

Stone relief of Confucius meeting Laozi: Confucius led his disciples to pay homage to Laozi. The lower level is a picture of a carriage and horses traveling. The second person on the right holding a staff is Laozi, and the fourth person on the right holding a dove staff (a token of respect for the elderly) is Confucius. The child between the two is said to be the magical Xiang Tuo. Stone relief of Guan Zhong shooting Xiaobai: Without explanation, if you don’t know this story, you really can’t tell from the relief!

The Shandong Provincial Museum is very grand and can give you a good understanding of the culture of the Qilu land. It is very large and takes half a day to visit.

When I went there, the name of Shandong Museum had not been criticized yet. I wonder if it has been changed now. As soon as you enter the Shandong Provincial Museum, you will feel the golden splendor. There is also a large jade bi shape on the dome. The collection of cultural relics is quite rich. Some of the famous Qingzhou statues have also been moved here. The treasures of the town are well-deserved. For example, the eggshell cup is really very thin.

Shandong Museum is located at No. 11899, Jingshi Road, Lixia District, Jinan, about 10 kilometers away from Furong Street in the city center. There are many bus lines leading there, and the transportation is very convenient. Shandong Museum is also free to visit, and tickets can be obtained with ID cards. There are two exhibition halls in the lobby on the first floor, namely the Buddhist statue art exhibition and the Han Dynasty portrait art exhibition. The collection of cultural relics is very rich. It can be said that the cultural relics in these two exhibition halls are the essence of Shandong Museum. There are three exhibition halls in the Shandong History and Culture Exhibition on the second floor: Prehistory, Xia, Shang and Zhou, Qin and Han-Ming and Qing. Another exhibition hall on the second floor, the fine exhibition of cultural relics unearthed from the Ming Zhu Tan Tomb, is also worth seeing. The third floor is the exhibition of archaeological achievements and the great migration of African animals. If you don’t have enough time, you can ignore it.

If you want to know the history of a city, you can go in and see it.

This is a museum famous for its fonts. I guess the person who wrote the inscription must have regretted it. I read in the guide that it was necessary to make an online reservation, but when I actually went there, I found that everyone used the self-service machine to swipe their ID cards to exchange tickets on site, and there was no need to make an appointment. The lobby of the museum is magnificent, and only the second floor of the three-story exhibition hall is related to the history of Shandong Province, which is a little too small.

There must be a reason to go to the Provincial Museum. It is a pity that some of the exhibits I took out for exhibition this time were

Parents in Shandong attach great importance to education. When we went to the museum in the morning, it was basically all parents bringing their children to visit, and there was a very long queue.

A joke about Shandong Museum: A young couple went to visit the area near Jingshi Road in Jinan City, Shandong Province. The young man stared at the gate of a tall building and exclaimed, "The calligraphy is great. Whose work is this?" He read aloud, "The Heart is with the Mistress." The girl said, "You're a fool. This is obviously the 'Shandong Mistress Museum'. The mistresses of corrupt officials are all imprisoned here." A passerby passed by and thought, "Two unlearned people, they don't know what they are doing but are pretending to be knowledgeable. This is obviously the 'Heart is with the Mistress'." At this time, a very gentle scholar came over and said, "Don't argue. Isn't this very clear? This is the office building of the 'Shandong Mistress Newspaper'." I can only say that the writing of our great China is so profound.

The Provincial Museum is a place you can't miss. It is closed on Mondays, so you don't need to pay a ticket. You can just bring your ID card. There is a voice broadcast interpretation inside, 20 yuan per person, and a deposit of 100 yuan. You can learn a lot of historical knowledge. You can bring your children there more often, and it is also suitable for students to go there. It is very helpful for the education of historical identity. The African Wildlife Museum inside is my favorite place to go, with realistic images. There are also archaeological contents that you can go to see to understand ancient history and protect traditional cultural heritage.

Very quiet, covering all you need to know about "Shandong". Due to time constraints, I can only take a quick look and learn about it. I will come again next time.

There are so many things to see that it would take a whole day to read them all.

It's worth going. You can print the ticket with your ID card. It's free to visit. It's a beautiful museum with rich exhibits. You can listen to the guides when you meet them and learn a lot. It's closed on Mondays. It seems that you can't enter before 4 o'clock. It's quite big inside. If you want to look carefully, you need a lot of time. It takes at least 2~3 hours to take a general look and walk around. It is recommended to visit early~!

I didn't have high expectations for the Shandong Provincial Museum after seeing everyone's photos. After all, I've visited many museums, but this time it really exceeded my expectations. What makes this museum different from other museums is that it also has exhibits of ancient Rome and African (Madagascar) animals. If you want to take your children to learn about animals, this is a good choice. And the computer screen can also play the sounds of the animals.

Before entering the museum, you need to show your ID card to get a free ticket, and then go through security to enter. The entire museum is divided into three floors, and there are seven or eight exhibition halls on each floor. The environment is still very good, but there are no precious collections, at least nothing that we are interested in. I wanted to see the modern cultural relics of Shandong Province, but I missed it. There is a limited time to visit every day, so if you have friends who want to visit in the future, it is best to find out in advance. I have the habit of visiting museums in various places, but this time it was very unsuccessful. I didn’t find the collections I like and the exhibitions I am interested in. It is recommended that you still go online to learn about the exhibits and characteristics of each museum before visiting, and visit only those that you are interested in, otherwise it will be a bit like a waste of time.

On Jingshi Road in the New District, it is very close to the Olympic Sports Center. You don't need a ticket, you can enter with your ID card. There are many national treasures here, and it is more interesting to visit than other attractions in Jinan. The museum is divided into several exhibition areas. The Buddha statues collected in the museum are more delicately made, with more diverse materials, more graceful postures, and more Chinese images. Among them, there is a statue of a Bodhisattva with a slender waist, which is super beautiful. The second exhibition area is the Han Dynasty Stone Picture Exhibition Hall. The stone picture is a very interesting thing. The stone picture exhibited in the Shandong Museum is relatively well preserved. The third exhibition area I went to was the Confucius Culture Exhibition. I just took a quick look. After all, I have the opportunity to go to Qufu. The fourth one I visited was the Shandong History and Culture Exhibition. From the Longshan and Dawenkou cultures...

Compared to the desolate surroundings, the decoration inside the museum is really surprising. This museum can be regarded as the most luxurious museum I have ever seen. The huge hall and the ceiling are covered with colorful lights, which are said to be the symbol of springs everywhere.

The Provincial Museum is closed on Mondays and opens at 9:00. Tickets are collected by ID card. There is only a small door for the Provincial Museum, and there is no self-service ticket machine. There is only a small window where a staff member sits and takes ID cards to swipe tickets. When there are many people, everyone crowds at the window. There is no order at all. It is a mess. I don’t know if it is like this during the Spring Festival or it is like this at other times. I have been to many provincial museums, so I will definitely compare them.

When I saw these words, I couldn't help but laugh. For a new museum that has only been open for a few years, the color of the words has begun to change, and the thickness of the font is also different. It's really interesting. After a round of walking, I still saw some things that I had never seen in other museums, including those in the capital. There are many exquisite mathematical instruments and astronomical measuring instruments on display here.

When I went there, most people in the museum were on holiday, so there was no guide to explain. The knowledge I learned from the cultural relics I saw was greatly reduced, but the collection of cultural relics is still very rich, especially the Han Dynasty stone relief exhibition hall, which cannot be seen in other provincial museums. Shandong is a province with many cultural relics. The top ten treasures in the museum are the red pottery animal-shaped pot and eggshell black pottery cup from the Neolithic Age, the oracle bone inscriptions and Yachou Yue from the Shang Dynasty, the Song Gui from the Western Zhou Dynasty, the large jade bi from the State of Lu in the Warring States Period, the bamboo slips of "The Art of War" and "The Art of War" unearthed from the Yinqueshan Han Tomb in the Western Han Dynasty, the murals of the Dongping Han Tomb in the Eastern Han Dynasty, the nine-feathered crown of King Lu Huang in the Ming Dynasty, and the double pine picture scroll of Zheng Banqiao in the Qing Dynasty. The first nine were on display when I went there for the second time. The rich collection of Han Dynasty stone reliefs and Buddhist stone carvings from the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Song Dynasty are also superior to other provincial museums in China.
