Tickets are free before 7:30 and after 6pm, but tickets are charged at other times, so getting up early at Signal Hill is a good choice! At the same time, the viewing building charges a separate viewing fee of 10 yuan! Signal Hill only accepts cash!

Follow the sign all the way forward and you will see a large platform. Standing on the platform and looking into the distance, you will have a clear view and take in the beautiful scenery of Qingdao. Looking into the distance, you will feel open and bright!

I was amazed. Standing on the top of the Signal Mountain, there was a breeze and looking around at the whole Qingdao, there were sea and ships in the distance, and buildings and mountains nearby.

It is said that it is a place where you can overlook the red tiles and green trees of the old city. Tickets for Signal Hill Park + spiral staircase can be booked online, but remember to book one hour in advance. Signal Hill is not high, near Qingdao Medical University Affiliated Hospital. The iconic building is the three big red balls on the top of the mountain. One of the red balls can be climbed up, which is the rotating viewing platform. It really rotates. If there is a place to sit when you go up, then face the glass and slowly go around, you can really see the panoramic view of red tiles and green trees, but there are very few places.

The park ticket is 5 yuan/person, the sightseeing spiral staircase is 10 yuan/person (there are no student tickets). The online package is cheaper than using my student ID, 9 yuan/person, so I booked an e-ticket online.

The park opens at 07:30 in the morning. If you enter before this time, you don't need to pay for tickets, but you can't go up to the rotating observation tower. From the wave-walking platform, you can clearly see the exterior of the former site of the German Governor's Palace. I originally planned to go there, but when I checked the guide, I found that I couldn't take pictures inside and it was best to ask a tour guide to explain, so I gave up. From the wave-walking platform, you can overlook the scenery of Qingdao City. The red houses and the sea form a beautiful picture, and Little Qingdao also appears in the field of vision.
