Taierzhuang Ancient City

Located at the center of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, it is a famous Jiangbei water town and canal ancient city, and also a famous anti-Japanese war city with the most relics of World War II.
The ancient canal from the Ming and Qing dynasties that remains in the city is the only ancient oriental water city in China, and you can travel around the city by boat.
The rich architectural styles are very distinctive, including the southern Shandong dwellings, northern courtyards, Huizhou architecture and Hakka architecture.
At night, the ancient city is full of lights and colors. If you stay overnight in the ancient city, you can enjoy the night view or go to the bar for a drink.

If you are from an ancient town in the south, you may not have such a strong impression of Taierzhuang. When Labor Day comes in May, it is really crowded. There are so many people, you can imagine. First of all, I want to talk about my understanding of Taierzhuang. Its ticket itself is a three-day ticket. However, it is free for college students. They will not look at your ID card. If you have classmates, please borrow your student ID. Just buy the ticket and go, you will definitely regret it 😂😂😂 We walked around for about half a day, and I really didn’t see it all. It is very big inside, but it generally feels like an imitation of an ancient town in the south, but it lacks the exquisiteness of other people. The night view is beautiful, and the shops are all lit. There are marks of the ancient city of Shanghai in it. Maybe this is its feature. It is enough to go there once. There is also BRT10. Friends who have to stand for two hours to come here, thank you for your hard work. This is how I came here, alas

By the way, the most important thing is the accommodation. The price here is three times the normal price. A shabby hotel starts at 388. We took a Didi for half an hour and the hotel was 268, but it was a house without a private bathroom. I was drunk... The experience was really super, super bad.

If you buy a ticket to enter Taierzhuang and find it's a big loss after entering, then stay for one night and go again tomorrow, then you will find it's a bigger loss! ! ? The Zaozhuang spicy chicken inside is not authentic, and the fish, I feel a little bit sexy, but it's obviously freshwater carp. Oh, there are still so many people. In short, there are so many people.

The only happy thing today was that there was a lemonade stall about 100 meters to the left of the east gate. The price was very reasonable. The young man also agreed to let us leave our suitcases there temporarily and come back to pick them up when we leave at night. He really helped us a lot. Thank you very much. The lemonade was very cheap, Youka lemon, super good, four yuan for one lemonade.

Jiangbei Water Town, a lying water town.

Compared with the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River, this place lacks a bit of tenderness but has a bit more charm.

It's rare that in Shandong, you can experience such small bridges and flowing water without going south.

It's a good place to relax, walk around, take a break by the canal, drink tea in a teahouse, walk to a bar, or go in and feel the noise.

More than 90% are newly built, and there are very few real historical sites. The service and attractions are similar to Gubei Water Town and Wuzhen, but the management is slightly insufficient, for example, the parking lot is very chaotic, so if you have been to the above two places, I think it is unnecessary to come here again... If there is anything worth mentioning, it is that the bars here are quite interesting, and the overall consumption is not too high.

What I didn't expect was that the distance from Zaozhuang Station to Taierzhuang Ancient City was about the same as that from Xuzhou Station to here. It was about 170 yuan by taxi, which was not close. What I expected was that the night view was really good, but it still felt delicate like a water town in the south of the Yangtze River, which is rare in the north. The scenic area is well developed. It would be better if the road surface was smoothed a little bit in some sections. It was not very convenient for many strollers. Overall, I was not disappointed. The prices in the scenic area were reasonable. The spicy chicken and pancakes with green onions tasted good. The accommodation was a bit expensive. A pleasant high-speed rail trip. I hope that light rail transportation will be more convenient soon.

Unexpectedly, it was worth it!

Minors, graduate students and college students can enter for free with their student ID. Residents from Xuzhou, Linyi and Zaozhuang can enjoy a special ticket for RMB 40, but it is only a ticket for the day, unlike the regular RMB 160 ticket which allows entry and exit within three days.

The travel notes all said that the night view was beautiful, and there were a lot of inns in the ancient city, so I stayed there for one night. It happened to be the Spring Festival when there were temple fairs and lanterns. The aesthetics were online, it didn't look like something produced in Shandong at all hhhhh.

The ancient city of Taierzhuang is located in Zaozhuang, Shandong. The victory of Taierzhuang was the greatest victory since the Anti-Japanese War and the pinnacle of Li Zongren's glorious life. Therefore, Taierzhuang also built the Li Zongren Historical Museum to commemorate him. Many small towns that have experienced major historical turning points have left their names in history, such as Waterloo, Verdun, Gettysburg, etc. After the Battle of Taierzhuang, another once unknown town was listed in the world military history, occupying an important and special position.

Taierzhuang Ancient City is known as the city with the most World War II relics. In fact, more than 90% of the buildings are newly built. The entire ancient commercial street is artificially built, and there is no feeling of an ancient city at all. There is no special feature, just like the Gubei Water Town I visited before, which makes people feel tasteless. What is really worth seeing are the museums outside the ancient city: Taierzhuang Battle Memorial Hall, Li Zongren Historical Museum, and He Jingzhi Keyan Literature Museum.

Taierzhuang Ancient City is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction (selected in 2013). Its highlights are "Canal Culture" and "Great War Culture". Due to its special status in the history of the Anti-Japanese War, it is known as "the place where the Chinese nation showed its unyielding power". The ticket price is 118 yuan per person (single ticket). The historical Taizhuang was reduced to ruins when resisting the Japanese invasion in 1938. Today's city was rebuilt in 2008 and completed in 2013. Most of the buildings in the city are replicas. It is more appropriate to regard it as a theme park by the canal than an ancient city.

By njshuhong |

Taierzhuang is called an ancient city, but that is only in history. Now it is a newly built imitation ancient city with only a dozen years of history. In the bloody battle that lasted for a long time, thousands of houses in Taierzhuang were almost destroyed by the war, and the ancient city was reduced to ruins. In 2008, the local government decided to rebuild the ancient city of Taierzhuang, investing a total of 4.8 billion yuan to restore more than 1,000 old buildings with a total construction area of 500,000 square meters. After years of reconstruction, Taierzhuang has been reborn, recreating the lively scene of fishing fires on the river, singing for ten miles, and the market that never stops at night.

By The Ascetic |

Taierzhuang covers an area of 2 square kilometers. It is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction with 11 functional zones, 8 major scenic areas and 29 scenic spots. The original Taierzhuang was reduced to ruins due to the war. It is a newly built ancient city.

Taierzhuang Ancient City is not an ancient town as most people know it. To be precise, the entire scenic area should be positioned as a theme park that integrates various types of antique buildings, leisure, entertainment, and vacation. There are very few ancient monuments and old buildings, accounting for only an estimated 1%. This theme park has various antique theme hotels and inns, traditional and modern Chinese and Western hotels, restaurants, bars, tourist souvenir shops, and various cultural performances.

The transportation methods to the ancient city on the Internet have not been updated. Fortunately, I asked repeatedly before going to book a hotel. I took the B10 bus from the high-speed rail station (it is best to check the departure time online in advance, it seems that there is only one bus every 40 minutes), and got off at Wangchao Group. The ride time is two hours, and then I took a taxi to the east gate of the ancient city, or shared a car (only 5 yuan per person). It is not convenient to enter the ancient city from the west gate now, and you can only enter from the east gate when you book tickets online for the first time. It is best to book a hotel close to the east gate. If you book a hotel close to the west gate, you will have to walk a long way with your luggage. When I went back, I also took a taxi from the east gate to Wangchao Group, but the waiting time for the B10 bus was too long (there was a bus every 45 minutes in the afternoon), so I had to share a car with others to the high-speed rail station, which cost about 30-40 yuan per person and arrived in an hour, which was much faster than taking the B10. I still think sharing a car is cost-effective, and you don’t have to wait so much time, but you have to share it.

I have been to many ancient cities. Taierzhuang Ancient City is OK. The night view is good, but I feel that there are still fewer water systems and too many buildings. It is not as quaint as Wuzhen, and the traces of man-made are too obvious. There is nothing good to see in the ancient city, that is, the war site, Tianhou Temple, and the boat-shaped street can be seen. The rest is not much different from other ancient towns. You must go to take a rowing boat at night, from Fuxing Wharf to the west gate direction, the night view is very beautiful, there are tickets and half-way tickets for the rowing boat online, which is very cost-effective.

I arrived the afternoon before and took the scenic spot shuttle bus (10 yuan) from the west gate to visit the Grand Canal Wetland Park. Unfortunately, the lotus flowers were all withered. On the way back, I took the bus to the Taierzhuang Memorial Hall to remember the martyrs and feel the bitter war of that year. Only then can I realize how hard it is to have a happy life today. I went to the ancient city to see the night view at night, and then went shopping again the next morning, and returned in the afternoon. The overall feeling is not bad, but I think Zaozhuang should set up a direct shuttle bus from the high-speed rail station to the ancient city of Taierzhuang. The transportation here is too inconvenient, which affects the travel experience.

The tour of Taierzhuang Ancient City on June 18 was generally good. There is one place worth special recommendation - the next one - Shaofu Courtyard 😂. Feature 1: Your hands will get sticky when you enter the front desk bar. Why? The second feature is greeted with doubts - the smell of paint hits you as soon as you go up the stairs, oh! The mystery is solved - the wooden steps have just been painted not long ago, and this is a brand new look with a strong smell of paint (at the cost of absorbing formaldehyde, so cherish it!) to welcome you. Feature 3 - Go to the bathroom to use the toilet, flush the water! The toilet lid makes a crisp sound (listen to firecrackers for free, scare you! No negotiation!)! Fall to the ground and bloom! A fine of 300! Spend money to avoid disaster! There are enough features! When you open your eyes the next morning, there is another big surprise for you! 😇Take your bag! There is a big centipede on it to decorate it for you! It is definitely more thrilling than watching a thriller! 😱

By How big of a deal can it be? |

The night view is beautiful and suitable for taking photos.

The ticket is 160 yuan, valid for three days, and you must enter from the East Gate for the first time, and you can enter from any gate afterwards; there are hotels and restaurants in the scenic area, it is recommended to stay in the scenic area

By China-TravelNote users |

The night view of Taierzhuang is very beautiful. The ticket price is unreasonable. Outsiders are charged 160 yuan.

Locals including surrounding ticket price 40 yuan 4 times the difference (Zhouzhuang ticket is only 100 yuan)

The night view is beautiful, but the ancient city is empty and not worth it

By Fresh and clear wind |

Taierzhuang Ancient City is very big and has a beautiful night view. It is recommended to pay attention to the "Taierzhuang Ancient City Reservation Service Platform", which has a recommended tour route map. It will be more fun to tour according to the map. If you just visit the ancient city, you will just feel that it is a commercial street.

By Lu Shuanglin 💚 |

The night view at night and the clear sky after the rain in the morning are really beautiful

By Feng Ge |

Very well managed, an exquisite northern water town, with a new scene at every step, places to sit and rest everywhere, stone bridges throughout the town, boats carrying people leisurely, especially the town at night, the lighting is particularly good, as if in a dream or fairyland, it feels better managed than Fenghuang Ancient Town and Lijiang

By With & For |

The natural scenery of Taierzhuang Ancient City is very nice, and the canal is very beautiful, suitable for a walk. The buildings are all newly built in antique style, so whether you like it or not is a matter of opinion. The ancient city is a bit commercialized, with all kinds of small gadgets and grocery stores that can be found in ancient cities across the country. However, there are some historical relics unique to Taierzhuang, which is a plus. There are many restaurants in it, and they are not very expensive, and the food tastes good.

The disadvantage is that the ticket setting is unreasonable. The price of 160 is too high. Although it is said that you can enter the park multiple times within 3 days, it is not very practical and feels a bit like a forced sale. (Students are free of charge.) It is recommended to provide cheaper single-day single-entry tickets.

In addition, the traffic outside the ancient city is very chaotic. It will be very troublesome if you don’t drive yourself (ignore if you drive yourself). From Zaozhuang West Station, you can take B1 to the terminal station, and then transfer to B2 to Taierzhuang Ancient City. From Zaozhuang Station, you can take B10 directly to the ancient city. The route of both methods is the same. You have to go from Xuecheng District to Yicheng District and then go south. It takes about 2 hours, and there are a lot of people and it is very crowded. If you don’t get a seat, be prepared to stand all the time. In short, it is very tiring (taking a taxi from the two stations to the ancient city is about 180-200, tycoons ignore it). Then it is very troublesome to take a taxi in Zaozhuang City and Taierzhuang City (outside the ancient city). Taxis usually don’t use meters, and Didi Taxi pick-up is very far away, and you have to wait for more than ten minutes.

In short, those who drive there or the rich can have fun at will, but those who plan to take public transportation should think carefully as it will be tiring.

By The Evil Lord Shafrin |

Drive directly to the East Gate of Taierzhuang Ancient City, do not navigate to other gates. The places to play are entered at the East Gate. The parking fee at the gate is 15 yuan per time without time limit. Going to other gates will waste parking fees. The ancient city is very large, the scenery is very good, and it is not a rip-off. You will not lose no matter how you play.

By Xiaoying~lo |

The ancient city is very big, the night view is very beautiful, and it is very lively during the Spring Festival. It is worth a visit.

By Ice and Snow |

Most of them are newly built. The scenery of the small bridges and flowing water is okay, and the lighting effect at night is good, but I don't think it is worth the 160 ticket. If the distance is far, you can come here if you pass by by self-driving, but there is no need to come here specially. In addition, there are too many people during the New Year.

By The two behind |

Jiangbei Water City, the ancient canal city, is quite unique in the province and is a good place to recommend

By Look around |

Taierzhuang is a famous water and land port on the Grand Canal, with booming business, rich resources and dense population. Taierzhuang Ancient City was developed and constructed very early, ahead of the rest of the country, and operates in a very standardized manner. Although the cost is a little high, it is worth it, and there are many recreational activities during the day and at night.

By Small |

The night view is very beautiful, it feels like Phoenix, Hunan ~ The second time I went

The ancient city has indeed retained some of its ancient charm. The ancient city at night is more beautiful than during the day, and the people visiting the ancient city are even more beautiful!

Taierzhuang Ancient Town is the worst 5A scenic spot I have ever been to. I am not criticizing it, but it is really terrible.

The transportation is inconvenient. The unclear markings are fine, but the key is misleading. We had planned the route before going, but we were misled by the signs and took a dead end road, which delayed us for more than an hour at the transfer station. If it was caused by our own fault, it would not matter, but there are many tourists on that road who were misled like us.

The scenic area is in a mess, not like an ancient town at all. Almost all the buildings are newly built and commercialized. After 10 o'clock in the evening, there were basically no people in the scenic area. With such facilities and such an environment, it can be rated as 5A. There is really nothing to say. Finally, I hope that the 5A will be withdrawn as soon as possible, and stop deceiving tourists who come from far away with high expectations. It's simply too much.

By aaron_uk |

Stop criticizing Taierzhuang Ancient Town. I have been to too many ancient towns and cities, such as Dali, Lijiang, Wuzhen, Zhouzhuang, Xitang, Nanxun, Tongli, Pingyao, Gubei Water Town, Huangyao Town, Yuanfenghuang, etc. Taierzhuang Ancient Town is a place that surprised me. It has a dense and majestic canal system, beautiful night views, unique inns, stylish cafes, reasonable prices for meals, and acceptable prices and standards for folk music bars. You must stay there and slowly savor the beauty of the ancient city. At night, you can take a boat ride. The boatmen are all girls, and they will sing some nice folk songs for the guests. The ancient city is very large. You can visit it from the four city gates in the east, west, south, and north. If you want to have a good time, one day is not enough. You must not rush and relax and feel the quietness.

By Qin Wei |

Taierzhuang, a water town in the north of the Yangtze River and an ancient canal city, is a place to pursue dreams and is worth a visit.

By falcon |

It is really nice to have such a water town in the north. You can feel the ancient style of the canal, learn about the Cao Bang culture, and feel the living conditions of a group of people who relied on river transportation under that historical condition. Due to time constraints, I did not complete the panoramic tour.

By China-TravelNote users |

Get off at Zaozhuang High-speed Railway Station, take the BRT bus line to Taierzhuang Ancient City Station at about 1:20, and walk to the scenic area service center in 5 minutes (remember to get the travel map). Ctrip offers a better deal if you book tickets one day in advance. Buy a 20-yuan boat ticket to the west gate and stay in a hotel in the Lanqi Hotel in the ancient city. The price is 418 yuan (although it has a balcony, it is a bit expensive, and breakfast is limited to one bowl of mutton soup per person). The hotel service attitude is very good. All attractions in the ancient town are open at night, and there are guides. Many night boats are expensive, and the distance is very short... The prices of tickets and attractions in our country really need good evaluation standards to set reasonable prices! The ancient town is still worth a visit. Remember the history and cherish the good life now. I think the country has rebuilt the ancient town in such a place relying on the canal. It is formally a sharp contrast, so that every Chinese remembers that a good and happy life is not easy to come by.

By Follow your feelings |

It is quite distinctive, and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal is also here. It is recommended to go there in spring. You must try the vegetable pancakes in the scenic area (10 yuan). You will save a lot of money if you avoid the peak tourist season. It is worth mentioning that the prices of meals in the scenic area in peak and off-seasons are set by the Price Bureau, but accommodation will fluctuate with the peak and off-seasons.

I came to Taierzhuang with my 14-month-old daughter. The weather was very beautiful in September, which was neither too hot nor too cold. The ancient city was also very beautiful. The scenic area is suitable for tourists of all ages. The flat roads, interesting performances, the experience of rowing boats, and various buildings are all good choices for you. The prices are also reasonable, and it can be seen that the local management of the scenic area is strict. The small portion of Zaozhuang spicy chicken in each restaurant in the scenic area is 68 yuan, which is very uniform. There are many kinds of inns in the scenic area. The price will increase by about 20% on weekends than on weekdays, and it will increase by 100% on holidays, which is acceptable. Snacks and mineral water are not expensive either, within the normal price. In short, I don’t regret it and I look forward to coming again

By Luffy |

A rare northern water city, I brought a drone all the way here to take aerial photos. Maybe it was because it was the weekend, it was particularly lively. It is recommended to book a hotel in advance, but it is recommended not to stay in the city. Here is an advertisement, because it is really impressive, it is Jingxuan Inn not far from the East Gate and South Gate. I arrived at night, and the eldest sister made pancakes for me and prepared fruits for me. The next day, she personally sent me to the South Gate. I am really grateful.

By On the Road |

The ancient city of Taierzhuang is very large, with a crisscrossing water system. Although many buildings were built later, the overall planning is relatively unified. There are accommodation and restaurants. If you have time, you can stay there for a few days and slowly feel the atmosphere and culture of the ancient city.

By Wheat Paladin |

The service is very good, and the tourism industry is very mature and well planned. The scenery at night is very good, and the accommodation is also very satisfactory. However, the food is very commercial, expensive and unpalatable. It would be perfect if authentic snacks could be introduced.

By l Kezi |

2018.8.6 The grandfather and I visited Taierzhuang. The ancient city has beautiful scenery and charming construction.

By Duan 🍃 |

The night view of Taierzhuang is very beautiful, with a feeling of Jiangnan water town. Friends who have time must find a small bar, sit down, listen to folk songs, sit on the streets of the ancient city to see the night view of the ancient city, and feel the rhythm of slow life. The night view is very beautiful and very impressive. However, when I went there, it was raining heavily and I was in a hurry because there was a concert of Wang Beiche at 7:30, and there were really a lot of people. It is a small regret. I will go there again if I have the chance to feel the slow life (the last photo of Wang Beiche, because it rained that day, the outdoor concert was changed to an indoor one. There were also a lot of people when I went there. I was at the back when I went there. This is the photo taken with my hand stretched as high as possible) It is still very impressive to listen to it live

By Godspeed |

It feels like it's becoming more and more commercialized... But fortunately, it still retains some of the charm of the ancient city.

By Twist the egg 😟 |

The scenery is beautiful, and the night view is very beautiful. There are performances at night. The restaurant consumption is OK, 5 dishes cost more than 100 yuan on Meituan. Water is very expensive, 10 yuan a bottle. The snacks are very ordinary, nothing delicious. There are only various shops and bars around, nothing special, which can be seen in other scenic spots, and various souvenirs from Yiwu Small Commodity City.

By China-TravelNote users |

I have been to several 5A-level scenic spots in China, and found that there is such a place in Shandong, so I drove there, but I was disappointed. Three people (two adults and one child) spent nearly three hundred dollars for lunch, but the food was almost the same as the street stalls. The so-called Weishan Lake Fishery House turned out to be a fake. After the meal, let's walk on the street. Suddenly, I saw a hand-cranked boat. I was very interested. I asked the "beautiful" boat woman wearing special clothes. Children over one year old are also charged. Is this probably the only one in the country? I wanted to tell her calmly that the boat fee here is too high. The disgusting "beautiful woman" actually said that the big boat at the door is only 20 yuan cheaper, and she looked contemptuous. I came in on a big boat, but I didn't know it? I really wanted to scold her for looking down on others, but my wife stopped me. With this kind of service attitude, this 5A will be delisted soon. The owner of the Marco Polo Inn where I live has a great service attitude. I look forward to seeing the legendary night view. I hope I won't run into someone as disgusting as the shaking woman again.

By China-TravelNote users |

I don't understand why the architecture here imitates southern architecture even though it's in Shandong. It's a purely artificial "ancient city" with no culture. It's even more inharmonious to copy some things. The food is a pitfall, not because it's expensive but because it's expensive and inedible. I went in hungry and spent more than 100 yuan. The dishes were not cooked. When they were served, I came out hungry. I was very angry and posted the name of the restaurant (Yijingjian Restaurant). I hope others don't get fooled, or someone can try how desperate this is. I remember that the food I made for fun in the fourth grade of elementary school was better than this, at least it was cooked. The whole Taierzhuang relies on tourism, and it spends money hard during holidays. Alas... Very disappointed. If you are stupid and have a lot of money, you can come here to play. This is a paradise for fools. The gentle Hui-style architecture, coupled with the rough roads in the north, is very special. It's especially good for fooling foreigners.

By Dong Xiaohan |

You can take a leisurely stroll inside, quietly experience the morning light of the ancient city, the streets of the ancient city, the people strolling in the ancient city, and the intoxicating night view of the ancient city.

This is a place for people to dream, a place to place their dreams.

By Radish Shallots |

Like most small towns or ancient cities, there are not many local characteristics, the same food, the same scenery. The only surprise is that such scenery also exists in the north.

The night view is good. It takes four or five hours to drive from Jinan. The ticket price for Xuzhou, Zaozhuang and Linyi is 40 yuan with ID card, and 160 yuan for other places. You can drive directly to the gate! The parking fee is 10 yuan and there is no time limit! Overall, it is not bad. The prices in the scenic area are acceptable. The night view is good and suitable for leisure and light walking

It's a cloudy day, otherwise it's a great place to take pictures~ There are also wine culture museums, brothel culture museums, etc.

PS, the back door of the brothel faces a clinic, the clinic's business acumen is UP

Many shops turned into bars at night. I went crazy until 2:00 pm. When I got back to the hotel, the lady wouldn't open the door.

Continue to enjoy the night view until 3 o'clock,,,

It's very lively at night.

Must stay one night stay one night stay one night

At four or five in the morning and after seven in the evening, there are lights in the fishermen's houses and the night scene of the ancient city.

The night view is beautiful, the morning is very quiet, the architectural style is very charming, and the historical atmosphere is very strong

There are buses from Zaozhuang High-speed Railway Station that go directly to Taierzhuang, with a frequency of about 40 to 50 minutes. The specific departure time is below (March 8, 2018 timetable). If you are at Zaozhuang West Station, you can take a taxi to Zaozhuang High-speed Railway Station. The price is more than 10 yuan, which saves time than going from Zaozhuang West Station to the ancient city.

Taierzhuang, located at the junction of Jiangsu and Shandong, is the southern gate of Shandong and the gateway to Xuzhou. The world-famous Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal runs across the entire area. It has been a hub for water transport between the north and the south since ancient times. Its strategic location is very important and it has been a battleground for military strategists throughout history. The ancient city originated in the Qin and Han Dynasties, developed in the Tang and Song Dynasties, and prospered in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is known as the "No. 1 Village in the World" (awarded by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty). Nowadays, like many ancient cities in China, it has a stronger commercial atmosphere, but there are also some historical buildings preserved. The river in the city shuttles through it, and it is quite a feeling to take a boat ride at night. The Battle of Taierzhuang is also the second successful crystallization of the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, which is of great historical significance.

By Go your own way |

Taierzhuang Ancient City is a historical holy city with the most World War II relics preserved, and is praised by the world as "the place where the Chinese nation is proud and unyielding"; it is the only cultural city on the ancient canal where eight major architectural styles are integrated, 72 temples are gathered in one city, and the north and south are integrated, and the east and west are combined; it is the only canal ancient city on the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal that has completely preserved ancient docks, ancient revetments and other water conservancy facilities, and is called the "living canal" by world tourism experts; it is the only oriental water city in China with 14 miles of water streets and lanes, and you can travel around the city by boat. Transportation: Zaozhuang has a direct express bus, which is very convenient.

An ancient city with rich cultural heritage. Although it is rebuilt, it is really well-built, no less than Zhouzhuang and Wuzhen. I hope I will have the opportunity to come again and stay for a few days at a slow pace.

By Say something to yourself |

The ancient city of Taierzhuang is China's first World War II memorial city. The ancient city has pavilions, towers, bridges, flowing water, and different scenery at every step. It is really not inferior to any water town in the south of the Yangtze River. I didn't expect that there could be such a beautiful place in the north!

By Augustus |

Just as the mention of Xi'an brings to mind the splendor of the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang dynasties, the Taierzhuang you are about to visit witnesses a great nation's steadfast and fearless struggle against foreign aggression. The great victory in which the Nationalist soldiers piled up their bones and blood into a mountain broke the myth of the invincibility of the sun, and contributed a magnificent and colorful stroke to the magnificent historical picture. Perhaps the other small city that can rival it is Changde in Hunan, which is definitely a beautiful small city and one of my dream destinations.

By Yes |

It was hard to imagine how beautiful this place is before coming here. The impression of the Qingming Shanghe Tu is fully reflected here. The ticket price is 160 for adults, half price for people over 60 years old, and free for teenagers. It takes 8 hours and 650 kilometers to drive from Weihai to Zaozhuang. My mother sighed that even the emperor would not want to leave.

Paying attention to the inscriptions on each stele and plaque, I guess that the reconstruction of the ancient city of Taierzhuang not only has economic significance, but also has profound political significance.

The Catholic Church at that time, as the tallest building in Taierzhuang, became one of the most fiercely contested locations in the battle. Most of the buildings at that time had been razed to the ground by the war, and the current one was rebuilt on the basis of some broken walls and ruins.

The wall is the same wall as before, but the bullet holes have been worn bigger and bigger by time. During the Battle of Taierzhuang, the ancient city was so tragic that "every wall was soaked in bullets and every soil was soaked in blood". From the dense bullet holes, we can still deeply feel it.

A large open space is enclosed in the center of the ancient city, and some buildings from that time are preserved. Walking inside, one can't help but feel desolate and sad. Many people are a little afraid of the ancient city of Taierzhuang, and feel that it is gloomy. If you walk to this open space at night, it is a bit. However, I don't feel scared. The land of China is stained with the blood of patriotic patriots. If there are heroes, they should be righteous. As for the invaders, there is nothing to be afraid of.

The architectural design is really well worth the trip. Tickets are a bit expensive.

Very disappointed, super disappointed. I took my grandma to play. She is 75 years old and should be free of charge. The old lady was too old and could not find her ID card. She brought her household registration. As a result, the ticket seller said that it was not allowed and charged 160 yuan for the free ticket. So people who come here should pay attention! Also, this city is too commercialized. It is full of things for sale. There is only one museum on the second floor, which is quite good. It is where Liuqin Opera is sung. The others are all jewelry stores and restaurants. It's boring! I went there at 12 o'clock, and my grandma was leaving before 3 o'clock. She said that it was fresh at the beginning, but after watching for a while, it was the same, the tile building, and it was the same. She wanted to leave, but she paid 160 tickets. I couldn't bear it, so I had a meal and watched the lights at night. It was the same as usual! Fireworks were set off, very beautiful! I think the museum and fireworks on the second floor are beautiful and unique! Many places have to buy tickets again. My ticket price in Linyi is 40, which is quite worth it. My grandma's ticket of 160 is quite a loss. It's a rip-off and inhumane! Hope this helps you

The first time I went there, I stayed at the inn in the scenic area - Hetian Inn. It was very nice, clean and tidy. The service staff was very good. It is worthy of being an old revolutionary area and has carried forward the traditional virtues of simplicity and simplicity! The hotel has a balcony where you can sit on the balcony to watch the night view (of course, the price of such a room is a bit expensive). During holidays, the prices of food and accommodation are on the rise. Of course, there are also cheap places. I would like to remind everyone that if you drive there, you must make a strategy in advance and book a hotel, otherwise there will be no room! The night view in the scenic area is very beautiful, and the area of the scenic area is relatively large. Choosing Lanqi Hotel for dining is both clean and economical. The dishes are all very good. It is a private hotel. It can be said that it is the same as other tourist attractions. I won’t say what you should know. I will just say this. I hope to have some insights for friends who go to Taierzhuang Ancient City! The most satisfactory thing is that the staff there are very enthusiastic 👍 Like

It is called 5A, how did the National Tourism Administration give it the rating? I mean the management of the scenic spot is chaotic!!! I was extremely disappointed. I set off from Zhengzhou at 7 pm on the third day of the Chinese New Year and arrived in Taierzhuang at 12 pm. I couldn't find a place to stay because all the hotels were full. I went back to Xuzhou to rest! I set off from Xuzhou at 8 am on the fourth day of the Chinese New Year and arrived in Taierzhuang at 11:30. There were traffic jams, traffic jams, traffic jams! Find a chain hotel! Basically, I spent a thousand friends! In the end, I stayed in Mi Gao Fashion, a very ordinary house opposite the East Gate, for 799! The price is acceptable! Then I bought a ticket to enter the scenic spot at 4 pm. I bought 160 yuan per ticket, and the locals bought 40 yuan per ticket. When I went in to check the tickets, there were so many people! Everyone knows... The scenic spot does not control the number of tickets sold! There were so many people inside that I was scared, afraid of stampedes. There were still many tourists entering the venue outside. I lost my mood instantly. I spent 160 yuan on a single ticket. I felt really ripped off! The most basic tourist diversion was not done properly. We had children with us and were afraid of accidents, so we left! I am expressing my personal opinion, please don't criticize if you don't agree! If a stampede really happens, the consequences will be serious! Very serious! I have been to all the famous attractions in Shandong Province, and this is the most disappointing 😔 trip! The scenic spot can be called 5A, but the management is not 2A! The advertisement of Hospitable Shandong is good! The National Tourism Administration should consider comprehensively when selecting 5A!

The scenery at night is very good. The scenic area is very large. It is recommended to arrange two days of play for children. The price of hotels in the scenic area is moderate during the off-peak season. I recommend Marco Polo Inn. The service is thoughtful, the air conditioning is powerful, and the location is easy to find. There are many bars in the scenic area at night. It is recommended to play

It's a very nice place. If friends in the north don't have time to go to Wuzhen or something like that, it's a good choice to come to Taierzhuang. The ticket is quite expensive, but fortunately it's valid for two days (or three days, I forgot). I feel that the night is more beautiful than the day.

Taierzhuang Ancient City is called "the living ancient canal" and "the only remaining heritage village of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal" by the World Tourism Organization. Taierzhuang Ancient City has ancient river channels, ancient docks, ancient Chinese water cities, Taierzhuang Battle Memorial Hall, and a cross-strait exchange base. It is one of the only two cities in the world that were destroyed by artillery fire during World War II and rebuilt as a world cultural heritage, along with the Polish capital Warsaw. I have been there many times and the night view is very beautiful.

By Qingdao Guide |

Already arrived, I hope it will snow tomorrow. The ancient city must be beautiful after the snow.

By Gao Le Gao Yue |

An ancient city with various architectural styles, it has the characteristics of ancient towns in the north and south. It looks like Wuzhen in the morning, and the night view of the bar street looks like Lijiang at night. There are also mosques and churches. The night view is quite beautiful. You can take a boat tour. Although it is a reconstruction, it still has many historical traces. Food recommendations: Huanghua beef noodles and vegetable pancakes

By China-TravelNote users |

The ancient city is very beautiful. The small towns in the north are different from those in the south. It is worth a visit. The shops in the scenic area are clearly marked with prices. Although they are expensive, you can choose not to consume. The service attitude is also very good.

I have always wanted to come here, and this time I finally made my wish. The ancient city is very big, and it is recommended to play from day to night, because the scenery during the day is very different from that at night. I prefer the night view, which feels a bit like Xitang. There is an open-air movie in the ancient city. The equipment is very old, and all the movies shown are red educational films. If you have time at night, you must find a bar, sit down, and enjoy the nightlife here. There are many accommodations around the ancient city, and the prices are relatively high. Most of them are family-converted hotels, and the hardware facilities are very average.

The quietest ancient city, definitely a must-go for a holiday destination. It won't feel crowded.

By Time Walk |

It's OK. It's more convenient to take the high-speed rail, so I went there. If it's far away, there's no need to go there specially.

I went to visit a friend in mid-July and stopped by to take a look. It was too hot during the day so I chose to visit at night. The lighting at night is a major feature. There are many tourists. Basically, except for a few attractions, the rest are shops. There is also a bar street. It is very lively. There are singers singing, and they all sing very well. Normal tickets are quite expensive, but with Taierzhuang locals, Xuzhou, and Xinyi ID cards, it is only 40 yuan. Because my friend has been there countless times, we just took a quick look and left.

Taierzhuang Canal Ancient City is located at the center of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, a world cultural heritage site. It is known as "China's most beautiful water town" and a national 5A-level tourist attraction. It is located in Taierzhuang District, Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, and at the junction of Shandong, Jiangsu, Henan and Anhui provinces. Taierzhuang Canal Ancient City is not only a symbol of national spirit and a monument of history, but also a carrier of canal culture. It still retains many relics and is praised by the World Tourism Organization as "the living ancient canal" and "the only remaining heritage village of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal". Renovating Taierzhuang Canal Ancient City is the dream of generations of Taierzhuang people. Ancient river channels, ancient docks, an ancient Chinese water city where boats can sway and travel around the city, a World War II memorial city, and the first cross-strait exchange base on the mainland. The renovated Taierzhuang Canal Ancient City, together with Warsaw, is one of the only two cities in the world that were destroyed by World War II artillery fire and rebuilt as a world cultural heritage.

There are water play programs organized in Taierzhuang Ancient City from July to August. After checking into the hotel, I went out to see it. I encountered the water splashing music festival. I couldn't walk after seeing it. I also wanted to go crazy with the music. Unfortunately, we still had to finish our meal. I will have a chance to go crazy again in the future...

When visiting Taierzhuang Ancient City, it is strongly recommended to stay overnight. The night view is really beautiful under the artificial creation...

By Serenity leads to success |

With crisscrossing waterways and buildings along the water, this place is more like a Jiangnan water town. Except for a small piece of ruins, the buildings in the ancient city are all newly built, and there are no traces of war. The scenery at night is much better than that during the day. If you have enough time, it is best to stay overnight in the ancient city and slowly feel the charm of the ancient canal town.

By Taierzhuang Ancient City |

Wander among the blue bricks and black tiles, and enjoy the simple and beautiful life.

Sway under the small bridge and flowing water, and feel the simple and natural comfort.

Sit quietly by the ancient canal in Taierzhuang and listen to soothing and melodious music.

Under the bright moon and numerous stars, look up and experience the small but real happiness.

Accustomed to the fast-paced life in the city and the impetuous state of daily life, you need a quiet place to relax your mind and stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Strolling in the ancient city, here, you can meet two or three friends, have a cup of tea, drink a pot of fine wine, and enjoy a rare peace and quiet.

By I am the front side of the coin |

Taierzhuang Ancient City is newly built, and generally speaking, it has a southern architectural style. I went there in the afternoon and returned at night. I walked around and found that the main features of the ancient city are not much different from those of other ancient cities, such as Lijiang Ancient City. But it is worth mentioning that the night view here is particularly beautiful. We took the boat at 8:30 in the evening. There were also beautiful women rowing and singing while we were on the boat. The one-way ticket for the boat was 40, which was not expensive. There are also snacks. There is a snack street. Multi-grain pancakes are also classic. There are many restaurants, but I guess they are all the same, so it is more interesting to eat snacks. There is a snack street where you can ask the locals. Finally, the picture is above.

The ticket to Taierzhuang Ancient City is 160. Taierzhuang now offers a seven-scenic spot ticket, 200 for adults, and discounts and free policies for the elderly and children, but valid documents such as ID cards and household registration books are required. It takes two days to play all the games. Go to Zaozhuang High-speed Railway Station by public transportation, find the BRT entrance, take B10, the ticket is 2 yuan to enter the gate, and 3 yuan to get on the bus. It is quite friendly and can go directly to Taierzhuang Tourist Service Center. It is very convenient. The journey takes about 1 and a half hours and more than 70 kilometers, passing through the current city center. After arriving at the Taierzhuang Tourist Service Center, buy a ticket. The luggage booked in the ancient city can be checked in and out for free. There are also battery cars to the wetland, Shuangxi Cave, and the ancient city. The battery car to the ancient city is included in the ticket. It costs 10 yuan to go to the wetland and 5 yuan to go to Shuangxi Cave. Shuangxi Cave and the wetland can also go directly to the ancient city. I stayed at the Lanqi Hotel. Many hotels in the city are chain hotels. The interior decoration is relatively new, clean and tidy. Don't eat too much in the ancient city. Living near the west city gate, it is convenient for transportation.

A new type of ancient city, compared with other well-known ancient cities, it is not particularly perfect, but its newness, compared with the mature ones, is slightly less well-known, has slightly less traffic, and is slightly cheaper. It is not bad, and the night view is very beautiful.
