From the city to Yangkou Scenic Area, I chose the subway + bus method. It took more than an hour to get to Puli Station by subway, and then another half an hour by bus to Yangkou. Together with walking, it took less than two hours to reach the scenic area.

Some people must be wondering why they don’t drive there on a self-driving tour. I originally planned to drive there, which is only more than an hour away, but when I went out in the morning, I saw that the parking lot was full of private cars. In order to have a place for my car, I decisively gave up.

After visiting Laoshan, I was so glad I didn’t drive here. My legs were sore. I had to drive back for more than an hour. I can only say: I can’t do it.

I walked up and down the mountain in Yangkou, and did not take the cable car. My personal suggestion is to walk up the mountain and take the cable car down the mountain, so that you can enjoy the scenery along the way without being too tired. If you are not confident in your physical strength, take the two-way cable car.

The Yangkou cableway can reach about 2/3 of the way, and you still have to walk the remaining 1/3 by yourself, which is the section through the Mitian Cave to Tianyuan on the top of the mountain.

Drilling into the sky cave is not an easy task. It is said that it is dark and narrow inside. If you plan to try it, it is best not to wear a skirt.

Seeing the people coming down the mountain with their teeth bared in their faces, I decided not to endure this torture any longer. So I gave up the Mitiandong Mountain Road on the right and walked up to the top of the mountain from the downhill road on the left.



From the mountainside to the top, you can often see the local natives → the tiger's master → the cats. I really envy their ability to climb mountains and jump over ridges as if they were walking on flat ground. They can also stand on the mountain and look at the sea, watch the sunrise and enjoy the sunset every day.

The scenery is beautiful. If your physical condition allows, it is recommended to climb the mountain. If your schedule is full, take the cable car up the mountain, and then walk down the mountain, and visit the "Shouzi Peak" and "Taiping Palace" by the way. Mitian Cave is not very friendly to friends with more flesh, so don't miss it if you can.



In addition: Friends who are going to take bus 618 to Taiqing Scenic Area, please note!!! The boarding point of bus 618 on the Yangkou side is right where bus 620 gets off. You don't have to go to the opposite side to take the bus. If you go from Yangkou Scenic Area to Taiqing Scenic Area, sit on the driver's side to see the sea better. If you go from Taiqing Scenic Area to Yangkou Scenic Area, you need to sit on the other side of the driver.

The scenery is very good when the weather is clear. You can see excellent mountain and sea views when you take the cable car. After getting off the cable car, there are three routes to the top. The one on the left is faster, but there is not much scenery; the one in the middle will pass through the Mitian Cave. It is said that the Mitian Cave is very interesting, but as long as there are a few tourists, there will be a long queue for the Mitian Cave. On the day we went there, the scenic area repeatedly broadcast that the queue for the Mitian Cave would take an hour, so we were asked to take a detour (there were quite a few tourists that day, but we didn’t queue at all when we took the cable car); the one on the right is Changshou Road, which is more winding and there is not much shade. The advantage is that it is suitable for viewing. You can watch the sea while climbing the mountain. All three roads lead to the top of the mountain, Tianyuan. The scenery of Tianyuan is very good, you can sit on the mountain and watch the sea. We sat in Tianyuan for half an hour. It’s still time to choose one of the three routes to go down the mountain, so we chose the faster one with less scenery.

Yangkou Scenic Area is located in the northeast of Laoshan Scenic Area. The mountain is quite steep. There is also the "Palace on the Sea" Taiping Palace here. The main hall is called Sanqing Hall, and the side halls are Sanguan Hall and Zhenwu Hall. There are many strange rocks and caves hidden under the cliffs. Bailong Cave records 21 poems about Laoshan scenery by Qiu Chuji, a famous Taoist priest in the Yuan Dynasty. In the famous Lion Peak, you can enjoy the stone wonders "Lion Peak Guest Sun" and "Lion Ridge Horizontal Cloud". In addition, Shangyuan Mountain, Jiangjun Gou, Zhongxin Gou, Erxian Mountain, Zuanzi Gou, and Mitian Cave in the scenic area are all very attractive landscapes. Mitian Cave is a more exciting attraction. It is dark inside, so you must pay special attention to safety after entering. After going down the mountain, you can also feel the taste of the sea on the Yangkou Beach. If you are at Qingdao Station, you can take the subway. The Qingdao subway is very convenient now. Take Line 3 and transfer to Line 2 at Wusi Square Station, then transfer to Line 11 at Miaoling Road Station, get off at Puli Station, take bus No. 109/620/926 and get off at Yangkou Station. This line can pass Qingdao University, Ocean University, and Beizhai Scenic Area. If you change your mind temporarily, you can get off the subway at any time. There are also many places to eat in Yangkou Scenic Area, where you can taste the local farm flavor.



After playing in Yangkou, it will take about a morning. When we return to Qingdao Station in the afternoon, we can go to Taidong to buy some specialties to take home. We got off the subway at Wusi Square Station, took bus No. 232 and got on at the Municipal Government Station, got off at Dongguang Road, Taidong 1st Road, and took 4 stops to Taidong. There are many snacks from all over Taidong, and crispy meatballs, stinky tofu, and Taiwanese grilled sausages are all delicious. Because we want to buy specialties, we searched for nearby stores with more good reviews, and we were attracted by a store called "Qingdao Someone's Specialty Shop". The specific location is No. 118, Taidong 3rd Road, Shibei District. It is easy to find it by turning on the navigation on the pedestrian street because it is close to the Agricultural and Commercial Bank. First of all, I thought the name was quite interesting. Later, when I went in, I saw that the environment was good and the boss was very enthusiastic. We bought several products that sold well, including beer crisps, Laoshan tea, hand-torn squid and daifuku. The packaging is very beautiful and it is also very impressive to take home!

Yangkou Scenic Area is one of the many scenic areas in Laoshan, with both mountain and sea scenery. It is recommended to take the cable car up the mountain, climb up the mountain through Mitian Cave, look at the mountains and the sea, and then walk down the mountain.

You can take the cable car or climb to the top of the Yangkou Scenic Area by yourself. There are more scenic spots than Shangqing and Taiqing, including Xianren Cave, Mitian Cave, Shouzi Peak, Old Turtle Looking at the Sea, Tianyuan, etc.



It is recommended that friends with good physical strength climb up and down by themselves. After all, this is the real fun of climbing. Friends with less physical strength can take the cable car to Midian Cave, and then walk up one-third of the way to reach the highest peak, Tianyuan. Except for being able to see the sea from a high place, there is nothing else particularly fun.

Yangkou Tourist Area and Yangkou Beach are both very good.

When you climb the Yangkou Scenic Area, you can see the Yangkou Beach and the sea, which is very beautiful.

It feels good. There is no light in Mitian Cave, so you can't see anything at all. You need to prepare a light.

There are many buses from Yangkou down the mountain back to the city. Qingdao City Sightseeing Line 4 costs 20 yuan per person and goes directly to the pier and bus station, which is very convenient.

The Yangkou Scenic Area of Laoshan is one of the nine scenic areas of Laoshan, located in the northeast of Laoshan by the sea. When I went there, I parked in the parking lot of the scenic area without charging, which was great. There is a group ticket window next to the parking lot, and individual tourists have to climb to the mountain gate to buy tickets. I searched the Internet and found that there was no single ticket for Yangkou, all of which were packages of Qingliu-Yangkou. We didn't plan to play for so long, just play the Yangkou line, so we didn't buy a package. The full ticket of Yangkou is 90, which is still quite expensive. Children with more than 120 will have to pay half the ticket, which is different from the general free ticket for less than 140. However, it is still domineering for people over 60 to get a free ticket. You can enjoy the mountain view and the sea view of Yangkou Beach when you climb the Yangkou Scenic Area. It really lives up to the name of the fairy mountain on the sea. The mountain is not too high. You can take the cable car to the halfway point and then climb the mountain. The one-way is 35 and the whole journey is 60. It's still fun to pass the Tiantian Cave before reaching the top of Tianyuan, but this cave is not very friendly to fat people, haha.

Yangkou Scenic Area is part of Laoshan Scenic Area. Adult tickets are 90 yuan each. The mountain is not high, and neither the old nor the young in our family took the cable car to climb up. The view of the coastline from the mountain is very nice.

The biggest feature of Laoshan is that it is close to the sea. You can climb the mountain to watch the sunrise over the sea, which is a beautiful scene.

We arrived at the entrance of the scenic spot at 9 am on August 5th. There were so many people, and then the bad things happened. First, it was the attitude of the staff. There was a female staff member in her 20s who was standing outside the ticket office to provide inquiry services. I asked her about the ticket price of the cable car. There were so many people and it was very noisy. Her voice was not loud, so I moved one step closer to her. That was it. The female staff member immediately questioned me, "Why are you standing so close to me? What are you doing? Why are you standing so close to me?" She told me loudly with a disgusted expression and a stiff and impatient tone that the cable car ticket was 35. When I saw her attitude, I told her, "What's my attitude? What did I do to you? If you feel impatient, you can stop doing it. Stop choking me." The two of us After a few quarrels, other staff members pulled me apart. I bought the ticket and queued to enter. I waited for 20 minutes but my ticket was invalid. I asked the staff to deal with it again. Although they handled it for me, I suspected that the ticket seller was behind it because she saw the quarrel with their people. After entering the door, I was ready to take the cable car, but I had to queue up again when I got to the cable car. I saw there were seven or eight rows of people, so I took a picture. After waiting in line for an hour, I finally got to the top of the stairs and looked inside. Oh my god, there were 10 rows of people. I was so mad. I had already queued for an hour. I was really in a dilemma. If I had started climbing the mountain, I might have climbed up. So I had no way to queue up. Finally, after waiting in line for two hours It was already past 11 o'clock when we got on the cable car. We were no longer in the mood to play. While waiting in line, we heard a tour guide say that it would be like this during the peak tourist season, and who the hell would come to this crappy attraction during the off-season? Oh my god... Then we took the cable car for 15 minutes to go up the mountain. When the cable car was about to arrive, there was a camera that would take pictures. After getting off the cable car, the staff would let you look at the pictures on the computer and ask you if you want them. Then we continued to climb up and arrived at the Midian Cave. Damn, we had to queue up again. Damn it, we waited in line for about half an hour. After entering the cave, we slowly walked up with the crowd, climbed past the Midian Cave and climbed up for another 20 minutes to reach the highest point. It was almost one o'clock in the afternoon. After taking a look, the scenery was actually average. It was over. I went down the mountain and saw a long queue of about a hundred people waiting for the cable car. I said I would not queue this time. I felt that I had already queued for all the queues I should have queued for in my life. I queued for nearly three hours. I estimated that it would take only one hour to go down the mountain. The other peaks were not interesting and had no special features. The cost was 180 yuan for two people's tickets and 70 yuan for two people's one-way cable car, a total of 250 yuan. Haha, we really came to such a broken place for 250 yuan today. By the way, there are a few points to note. One: Food on the mountain is very expensive, a bucket of noodles is 15 yuan, a peach is 5 yuan, jelly is 10 yuan, and a bottle of water seems to be 5 yuan. It is recommended that you prepare it at the foot of the mountain. Two: When you are about to reach Mitian Cave, there are merchants who recommend you a headlight, saying that it is very dark in the cave and you need it. In fact, it is not necessary at all. It is completely fine to use a mobile phone light. Three: The cable car is not allowed to go up at 4:30 pm, and the car is allowed to go down at 5 pm. Pay attention to this time. There is nothing else. In short, this is a very bad experience, and I will never recommend it to others in the future. I want to complain to that staff.

It belongs to the Laoshan Scenic Area. If you come to Qingdao, you must visit Laoshan to make it perfect. Therefore, it is a must-see place. Different seasons have different scenery. It is more appropriate to apply for a Laoshan mountaineering permit, which allows you to climb Laoshan as many times as you want within a year.

Yangkou Scenic Area can be said to be the most beautiful scenic area in Laoshan. You can really go and have a look. The cable car is convenient. Even if you climb for 1 hour, it is enough to go up. You must go to the Midian Cave, otherwise you will miss a lot of fun. Coming out of the Midian Cave, it is suddenly open. It is very good and worth visiting.

Speaking of Yangkou, few people know it. But Laoshan has long been famous, and the legend of Laoshan Taoist priests has been passed down for thousands of years. Yangkou Scenic Area is located in the northeast of Laoshan Scenic Area. The fairy mountain has beautiful peaks and the Yellow Sea is rippling. The scenery features fairy mountain temples and bay beaches. Due to time reasons, we did not go to the beach to play, but mainly climbed the mountain to enjoy the scenery. The pictographic stones on the mountain are colorful and unique, with strange caves and dangerous peaks that make people linger. Yangkou Scenic Area is the core scenic area of Laoshan Mountain, with mountains and water, and beautiful scenery. There are buses from Taiqing Scenic Area to Yangkou Scenic Area, the fare is 1 yuan, and you can get on the bus at the Yakou parking lot.

There is an open cable car in Yangkou Scenic Area. When you come to Yangkou Scenic Area, you must climb to the top from Mitian Cave. The cave is very interesting and it is also a must-go for mountaineering. You must not miss it. After climbing to the top through Mitian Cave, you can overlook the scenery below the mountain. The mountains and the sea are connected, which is spectacular. The scenery at the top of the mountain is also magnificent. Tianyuan is the highest point of Laoshan Mountain that Yangkou Scenic Area and others can reach.

It's not difficult to climb up the mountain, but some places are still quite high. My boyfriend who is afraid of heights asked me to walk on the inside.

Last time I went to Laoshan, I took the Jufeng line. It was nothing but hiking. The scenery was really nothing special. Yangkou is completely different. It’s not a long distance. I enjoyed the scenery while hiking. The sun was shining. It was really beautiful.

I roughly calculated that it would take at least four hours to walk through Yangkou. If you have enough time, it would be a good idea to climb up and take the cable car down the mountain.

According to the online guide, visiting Yangkou Scenic Area is the quickest way to get to know Laoshan. The top of Yangkou Scenic Area is not high, but to reach the top, you need to pass through an excellent adventure site - Mitian Cave. Take the cable car up the mountain and watch the blend of mountains and sea at the top of the mountain, which has its own powerful charm. It's a pity that we didn't see any Taoist temples, and we missed the legendary Taoist priests of Laoshan.

Yangkou is low in elevation, so climbing is relatively easy for the elderly.

If you only visit Yangkou, you don't need to take the sightseeing bus between scenic spots. The fare is 20 yuan per person regardless of age. It is also called Qingdao Sightseeing Line 4. It is on the other side of the road at the South Square of Qingdao Railway Station. I would like to remind you that if you take the elderly with you, it is better to act freely if your ability allows, which can save a lot of money. The elderly over 60 years old in Yangkou Scenic Area are completely free, and adults are 90 yuan per person. There are many transportation options from the city to Laoshan. This is a sightseeing bus, and there are buses. The bus price is only 6 or 8 yuan, which is very cheap. There are seats throughout the journey. Don't be fooled and buy a round-trip bus directly. They asked me for 80 yuan for the scenic spot tickets for the elderly and 190 yuan for adults... It takes about 2.5 hours from Qingdao Railway Station to Yangkou.

In addition to being a fairy mountain on the sea (the only mountain on the seaside with an altitude of over 1,000 meters), Laoshan is also a famous Taoist mountain in China. Famous works such as Zhang Sanfeng, Qiu Chuji, and even Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio, such as "The Taoist of Laoshan" and "Snowfall", all come from here.

To reach Yangkou, you still have to climb up the mountain and take the cable car down, because only the downward cable car is facing the sea with its back to the mountain, so you can enjoy the view of the bay.

There are many steps on the way up the mountain, and a section of the road to Shouzi Peak is still under renovation. My parents have had a hard time. After all, they are old, and I feel a little sorry for them. But if we take the cable car up and down, we will miss a lot of beautiful scenery. We have no choice but to walk and stop and climb slowly.

It’s boring to take the cable car, so climbing by yourself is very good and makes up for the missing exercise.

It is said that young people like to come here just to climb the mountain. Now I finally understand why old people don’t like to come here. They can’t climb anymore. It’s a rocky mountain and it’s quite high. It takes more than an hour to reach the top, which is called Tianyuan.

The top is very beautiful. I overlooked the sea view from the top of the mountain. It was my first time. It was so beautiful. I sat on the top of the mountain for a while and enjoyed the breeze. It was not too cold, and I was not tired when going down the mountain.

Looking down at the seaside from Yangkou, there is no magnificent view as if you were standing on the top of the mountain, but being surrounded by mountains and the sea, feeling the sea breeze, it seems that all the tiredness is worth it. I personally feel that it is still beautiful.

2017.11.18 There are many tour guides in the service area, who let you charter a car. They said that the bus interval is too long or something, anyway, it is not good. We finally chose the bus. And practice has proved that the bus is still very convenient, about every 20 minutes. The sky is not as blue as in the morning, it has become cloudy, but when the sun comes out, the seaside is particularly beautiful, so I took a lot of photos, and then walked to Taiqing Scenic Area. The road is particularly beautiful, the road in the distance, the sun and the sea, the whole person is very relaxed and happy. Looking at the photos again, the scenery is so beautiful that it seems fake.



When we arrived at the Taiqing Scenic Area, it should be a Taoist temple. We took a simple walk around. The most eye-catching thing was the particularly tall statue of Laozi. From a distance, we could see the posture of a teacher. The terrain of Taiqing Palace is also steep slopes and ridges. At the end of autumn, leaves fell all over the ground, and the red maple leaves made people particularly happy. In fact, I also saw Taoists performing some kind of ceremony, and there were cameras and video recorders, but I didn’t think it was so formal. I still admire those who choose to believe. But I didn’t take pictures or record them, and I always felt that I was not so respectful.



I didn't get off at Huayan Temple because I left too late. I had to go to Yangkou. When I first started planning Qingdao, I saw the panoramic view of the city from the top of Laoshan. I will come again in the future, so I skipped it.



The last stop is Yangkou. I was ready to climb the mountain. The cable car was out of service, but I would climb up without stopping, because only I could understand the fun of climbing. You must bring enough food and water, because the weather is hot and windy. There are plank roads, but there are also steep slopes. It is not easy, so my two friends gave up halfway and left me struggling alone. There are places with a wider view on the way, and you can see far away. I was shocked before I reached the top of the mountain, so I was determined to climb up. I met a few cats on the way. They were not afraid of people and were not close to people. I found that many people had met them in travel notes. I don’t know how they live. They are probably blessed by the mountain gods and accompanied by lonely travelers. Let the boring and tiring mountaineering have a touch of warmth. The higher you climb, the better the scenery you see. We insist on some things, and the results may not be so satisfactory, but the process is a kind of enjoyment. After I kept stopping and walking, I finally saw hope. There was a fork in the road before reaching the top. Of course, I made the wrong choice. I chose the left because there was no sign. The top of this mountain is very interesting. There is a cave that can accommodate one person. You can reach the top by going up from this cave. However, because I went the wrong way and went up from the lower entrance, I didn't pass this cave. I didn't know it until I went down the mountain, so it was a pity. I will make up for it next time. However, the scenery on the top of the mountain is enough to fascinate me. Forgive my photography skills, because I really can't take pictures with my naked eyes. You can go to Baidu to search for pictures. It is really as beautiful as in the pictures. The weather turned from sunny to cloudy that day. It was already evening when I reached the top. The sunset was on the other side, so there was only afterglow and not many clouds, but it was enough to shock me. It is a little dangerous on the top, although it is blocked, so you must pay extra attention to safety. Looking down from a distance, it is most of Qingdao. It is refreshing and open-minded, so the mountain must be climbed.

The scenery is still good, but you need to come from May to October. Of course, it is also very beautiful when it snows in winter.

We took the bus to Yangkou. The red roofs built along the mountain and facing the blue sea were so pleasant... Although there may not be big supermarkets or shopping malls here, the quiet seaside cottages and the simple and comfortable community are also very attractive... We took the cable car up the mountain in Yangkou. After arriving, the way up was actually quite interesting. We entered a very narrow cave, which was quite dark inside. We had to pay attention to safety. The road was quite long and some places were very low. We kept drilling and climbing up. After exiting the cave, we still had to pass through a narrow crack in the rocks to get up. Going up again, we reached the top of the mountain. The view was very open and the scenery was of course beautiful~~ Take a break, enjoy the breeze, look into the distance, and take pictures...

The first place I went to was Yangkou. The cable car in Laoshan was so exciting! And it was very windy in winter. It was so exciting (´⊙ω⊙`). It was completely open! All your limbs were hanging out. If it wasn't for the slow speed, it would be almost like riding an upside-down roller coaster in Happy Valley. (ಥ_ಥ) People with heart disease should not ride it, right?

Looking down from the cable car, some people also choose to climb the mountain. By the way, there are many wild cats in Laoshan, which are rarely seen in the city. I wonder if all the cats in Qingdao live in the mountains (•̀ω•́)✧

It is quite troublesome to climb the mountain. You have to pass through a "slit-shaped" cave, and you need to use your phone for lighting. At this time, it shows how important it is to have a power bank. And the road up the mountain is like a rat hole, very narrow, not very friendly to fat people and giraffes|ω･｀o)ﾉ"But after climbing it, it's "sweet after bitter"! The scenery is more beautiful as you get to the top of the mountain!

The panoramic view from the garden on the top of the mountain is very spectacular! Going down the mountain to see the mountains, there are rugged rocks!

The view from the cable car going down the mountain is better than going up the mountain. It faces the sea and the wind is stronger. It’s so cool!

I had read some travel guides on Laoshan on China-TravelNote, but when I went there I was fooled by the one-day tour plan, so I only visited one hill in Laoshan and didn’t see anything interesting.

It's a very famous scenic spot, but the entrance fee is one hundred yuan, which is too expensive.

When I went to Laoshan in 2017, I only visited three scenic spots: Taiqing, Huayan, and Yangkou. Yangkou was the one I had the least expectations for at the beginning, but after walking around, I found that Yangkou was the best one. First of all, the mountain shape is good, so there is also an extra cable car here. The Mitian Cave in the middle is not only sandwiched between two cliffs, but also has to find a way between layers of fallen rocks. There is a large stone platform in Tianyuan on the top, from which you can overlook the sky, sea, and city below the mountain. Climb up the mountain, take the cable car down, and you can see the Shouzi Peak and Xiantao Stone on the left from the air. Whether it is the densely packed Shou characters or the lifelike peach-shaped stones, they are all breathtaking.

Due to time constraints, I only went to the Yangkou Scenic Area. Climbing the mountain was not very tiring, but it was still quite hot at the end of August. Fortunately, there were many trees along the way ~ Watching the sea from the big rock on the top of the mountain was really an awesome experience!

This mountain is not old, I have been here before! Compared with the lush preparations of the southern mountains, this sea mountain fairy mountain has more exposed boulders, which is spectacular.

In the morning, you can take the Urban Sightseeing Line 4 (Yangkou Scenic Line) at the tourist distribution center next to the train station to directly reach the Yangkou Tourist Center. During the peak season, there are three departures at 7:50, 8:30, and 9:20, and three return departures at 14:00, 15:00, and 16:00. The journey takes about 2 hours and the ticket price is 20 yuan. You can take the bus to the pier, Luxun Park, and other places along the way, but the time is not fixed, and the seats on the second floor may be gone. The route is basically along the seaside, and you can take a look at the various attractions in the city from a distance.

Go to the Yangkou Visitor Center and buy a 90 yuan ticket for just visiting Yangkou. After entering the door, you can take the cable car on the left. Because we were traveling with children, we chose to go up only, which cost 35 yuan per person.

The cableway is open, with the feet hanging outside. The safety measures are relatively simple, and you need to be careful to bring your children and belongings with you to prevent them from falling. Fortunately, the distance from the ground along the way is not too high.

There is a camera at the entrance of the cable car, which will take pictures of everyone. If you want a photo, the price is 20.

After getting off the cableway, turn left and walk up a few dozen steps to the Mitian Cave. The cave is quite slippery, and some places need artificial lighting. Fortunately, we prepared flashlights in advance. In addition, there is no situation where fat people will get stuck. I am 210 pounds and carry a 30-liter backpack. There are only two places where the space on the top is narrow and I need to take off the bag to carry it. There are no obstacles. Especially in the often-mentioned narrow sky, fat people can pass through it without even turning sideways.

After exiting the cave and walking up another hundred steps, you will pass the Divine Turtle Exploring the Sea and reach the highest point, Tianyuan. For those of us who come from inland cities, it is indeed an unbeatable sea view.

The downside was to walk the other side. Although there were signs that monkeys were around, unfortunately no monkeys were seen.

Continue to descend after passing the upper station of the cable car, pass Shouzi Peak, and go down to Taiping Palace. Take the left fork to visit Lion Peak, Youlong Cave, and Hunyuan Stone. This section of the road is very short and can be completed in about 10 minutes. I personally think that the sea view from Lion Peak is second only to Tianyuan, and it is worth a visit.

Continue down from Taiping Palace and you will soon reach the bottom of the mountain. Exit the gate of the scenic area, pass the parking lot and cross the bridge to the right, and you will arrive at Yangkou Bathing Beach. To be honest, it is not as good as the first and second baths. There are a lot of seaweeds and no one cleans them. The sand is also coarse and there are many stones, but it can kill time waiting for the bus.

At 16:00, I took the best sightseeing bus and left Yangkou. It felt very good and I hope I can come again.

The sunshine, oxygen, and joyful sea breeze all hit you in the face without warning, and your eyes are filled with the unobstructed wide and invincible sea view of Yangkou Bay... Your whole mind will be firmly captured by this beautiful scenery, and for a moment you don’t know whether you are in the human world or in fairyland...

Don’t miss the Lion Peak (a good place to watch the sunrise over the East China Sea), which forms a small loop with the Taiping Palace, Youlong Cave and Hunyuan Stone.

Don't just keep your head down while walking in the scenic area, otherwise you will miss many pictographic stones, such as the Sheep Stone, Fairy Peach Peak, and the Divine Turtle Exploring the Sea.

If you are not strong enough or in a hurry, you can take the cable car. It only takes more than 3 hours to walk to Yangkou Scenic Area.

Yangkou Scenic Area is located in the northeast of Laoshan Scenic Area. At the top of the famous Lion Peak, you can enjoy the moving spectacle "Lion Peak Guest Sun", and at the bottom of the peak, you can look up at the charming scenery "Lion Ridge Horizontal Cloud". In addition, Shangyuan Mountain, Jiangjungou, Zhongxingou, Erxian Mountain, Zuanzigou, Mitian Cave, as well as Yangkou Bay, Diaolongji and Fengshan Cape in the scenic area are all beautiful peaks and bays. Yangkou Beach, which is wide and flat, with fine sand and clear blue water, is an ideal bathing beach.

The original plan was to go up and down the mountain in 3 hours, but because of the long queue at the "Mitian Cave", the plan was "infinitely" extended.

We climbed up slowly. Fortunately, the road to Yangkou of Laoshan is not so tortuous, and the rock steps are all straight and straight. As long as you have enough patience, it is relatively easy to climb to "Mitian Cave" in 1 hour.

Yangkou is named after its shape, Mitian Cave is dangerous and secluded, Tianyuan is high above, the bay is picturesque, Shouzi Mountain has a huge Shou character, and it is a beautiful scenic spot that is worth a visit!

To be honest, I didn’t have high hopes for Laoshan, but when I got there I was really amazed by the beautiful scenery.

The advantage of Laoshan is that you can always look at the sea from a high place. The blue sea and the sky are connected into a line, which is really a breathtaking view.

It is recommended to climb up to the Yangkou Scenic Area and then take the cable car down, because when the cable car comes down you face the sea of Qingdao. Find a good weather day and enjoy the blue sea and blue sky all the way down the mountain.

The Yangkou Scenic Area of Laoshan does not require much physical effort. After reaching a flat ground, you will have to pass through a cave-like place to climb to the top of the mountain. You need to use your hands and feet. Due to the narrow intersection, you need to wait in line for a while, but from the scenery you see after climbing out of the cave, you will feel that everything is worth it.

About the bad points: The management of Laoshan's tourist attractions is very chaotic, and Laoshan is divided into four scenic areas, so you can't visit all of them at once. I only visited the Yangkou Scenic Area of Laoshan, and I think the scenery here is worth a visit. I took a black taxi from the city. It's a pity. It would be better if the government could regulate travel to Laoshan with such beautiful scenery.

The first fairy mountain on the sea refers to the Yangkou of Laoshan. In good weather, you can see the Yangkou Bay at a glance, the sea and the sky meet, and the scenery is very beautiful. There are famous attractions on the top of the mountain: Mitian Cave, Tianyuan, Shizi Peak, etc. Personally, I think this is the location of the fairy mountain that best reflects the beauty of climbing Laoshan and watching the sea.

I signed up for a tour group on Taobao to climb Laoshan Mountain. The one-day tour includes two scenic spots: Yangkou Scenic Spot and Beijiushui Scenic Spot. In Yangkou Scenic Spot, we took the cable car to the middle of the mountain, and then climbed the Mitian Cave. There were several dark sections in the Mitian Cave, and the mobile phone was enough for lighting. The cave was slippery, so we had to pay attention to our feet. After passing the Mitian Cave, we were closer to the top of the mountain. The whole climbing process was not too tiring. It took 1.5 hours to climb back from the cable car to the cable car. The scenery on the mountain was very good, and we could see the sea, which was very beautiful.

Yangkou Scenic Area. The scenic area is full of steep peaks, competing for beauty. There are Shangyuan Mountain, Jiangjungou, Zhongxingou, Erxian Mountain, Zuanzigou, Mitian Cave, Tianyuan, Shoushan Stone and other landscapes in the scenic area.

I rushed to Yangkou from Qingdao at noon and stayed in a mountain view room in a homestay at night. It was quite good and cost-effective. It faced the sea and backed Laoshan. I got up early in the morning to climb the mountain but was told that the cable car was closed due to strong winds. It was tentatively scheduled to open at 10 o'clock, but it would be postponed if the wind was strong. I saw that the Beijiushui line was well reviewed online, so I immediately took the Youliu line to Beijiushui. After entering the scenic area, I felt that it was because of the dry season. The scenery was very ordinary and there were not many tourists. I returned to Yangkou. Fortunately, the cable car was opened. The cable car took half an hour for a round trip. When I went up, I saw the mountain and when I went down, I saw the sea. It was beautiful. The difficulty of passing the Liantian Cave was beyond imagination. There were families with children before and after, and I was worried for them. Tianyuan has a wide view and excellent scenery, but you must pay attention to your feet. The slope is very steep. After going down the mountain, I bought Wanggezhuang steamed buns and returned.

A good place to watch the sea, with mountains and waters, strange and dangerous, but also peaceful and quiet

With the Qifeng Mountain behind it and the rippling Yellow Sea in front, the scenery is mainly characterized by the temples on the mountain and the beach in the bay. There is a beach bathing beach in Yangkou, as well as the Taiping Palace Taoist Temple. You can watch the sunrise at Shizi Peak!

On Shouzi Peak, there is an engraving of the word "Shou" written in different fonts by nearly a hundred great calligraphers from ancient and modern my country, including Li, Zhuan, Xing, Cao, Kai and other fonts. It forms a spectacular picture of a hundred years of longevity on the rock wall, which is also an exhibition of calligraphy of the word "Shou".

Mitian Cave is a natural cave formed by stacking huge rocks in the gap between two cliffs.

"Tianyuan", standing on the Tianyuan stone, it seems as if you have found the sky and have reached the heaven, with countless scenes in sight.

Look up and you will see the mountains; look down and you will see the sea.



I don't know what words to use to describe this place. In March, I went to Qingdao alone and climbed Laoshan alone. I went to Yangkou Scenic Area. There are many places to stop and rest along the way and look at the seaside. It is beautiful.



If you are not in a hurry, you can climb slowly. It is also a good choice to come down around 4 or 5 in the afternoon and sit on a big rock to watch the mountains and the sea.

After leaving Qipanshi, it was about 1:30 and we continued to take the scenic bus to Yangkou. The scenic bus was right at the place where we got off when we came. There were many people queuing, but there were many buses, and there would be one every few minutes. The distance between the various scenic spots in Laoshan was quite long, which also allowed me to have a good rest for a while. There were many more people in Yangkou than in Qipanshi. Maybe everyone made a strategy before going out, and they all knew that this was the essence of the southern line.

After checking your tickets, you enter the scenic area, where you can choose to take the cable car or walk up the mountain. It is not recommended to take the cable car up the mountain. One reason is that the queue for the cable car is very long, and the other reason is that the scenery along the way is very beautiful and you must not miss it.

At this time, someone may trick you into thinking it will take three hours to climb up the mountain. Don't panic, because it only takes about an hour to reach the top of the mountain.

Many people choose to walk up the mountain and then take the cable car down the mountain. Of course, this is possible, but everyone will think so, and then there will be a long queue for the cable car down the mountain, so please consider it yourself.

Walking up the steps, not far from the entrance of the scenic area, there is a forest full of flowers, white as snow, pink as clouds, competing for beauty. There are also many tourists taking photos here.

Continue walking upwards and you will come across the "Taiping Palace" not far away. In front of the door is a plaque with the words "Purity, Tranquility and Inaction" written in the "Tao Te Ching". It is a small Taoist temple. Maybe everyone has seen the sign "Buy tickets to enter" at the door, so it is rarely visited.

Continue up and you will come to the Shouzi Stone, which is the world's largest longevity stone. The largest "Shou" character is more than 20 meters high and 16 meters wide, which means "longevity, longevity, great longevity, and eternal longevity". In front of it is the "Shouzi Peak", where the mountain wall is engraved with Shou characters of different sizes and writing styles, forming a huge Shouzi picture. Throughout the ages, more than a hundred calligraphers have left "Shou" characters in various fonts here, full of good wishes.

Finally, we reached the final destination of Yangkou Scenic Area, Mitian Cave. Mitian Cave is a natural cave formed by stacking huge rocks in the gap between two huge cliffs. It has five layers. The cave is winding, strange, thrilling and confusing. The light inside is dim, so remember to bend down and bring a flashlight when entering.

This is also one of the most attractive places, but there are too many people. So I gave up on Mitian Cave and climbed up from another road to Tianyuan.

There was also a long queue at the top of Tianyuan, so I didn’t go to the top, but there are several excellent viewing spots around with beautiful scenery, where you can overlook the mountains and the sea.

Standing on the rock, you will feel a sudden enlightenment. Looking around in Tianyuan, you will see towering peaks. It is said that there are immortals on the mountain, and Laoshan is also tainted with Taoist spirit. People should be like mountains, with the mind, character and connotation of mountains, which are broad, solid, upright and tolerant.

I took a bus from Yangkou at 3:30 and arrived at the parking lot at about 4:30. Then I took a bus back. It was another bumpy ride, with many people standing and squeezing along the way. My legs almost cramped. I finally arrived at the final stop, the train station, at 6 o'clock.

It was the day before the May Day holiday when we went there, so there were not too many people. The scenery was very beautiful throughout the whole process. When I checked the guide, I saw that the Yangkou District and Jufeng District were the most beautiful among the several scenic spots in Laoshan. When I went there, I took a Didi taxi directly to the Yangkou ticket area. From the May Fourth Square in the urban area to the ticket area, two people shared a car for more than 100 yuan, which was quite cost-effective, and faster than taking a bus, less than two hours. If there were more people, it would be cheaper. I suggest that you can take a Didi taxi. Express cars don't take taxis, which will be very expensive. When I arrived, the Jufeng District was closed for maintenance, so I only climbed the Yangkou Scenic Area. I went up at about 11 o'clock and went down the mountain at more than 4 o'clock in the afternoon. The scenery along the way was really beautiful and open. When I climbed to the first small peak, I looked around and saw the entire sea level. It was really spectacular. The mountains were small and the sea was vast. The special jelly I ate halfway was good. There was a hole that needed to be passed when I was about to reach the top. It was best to rent a flashlight on my head. It was not expensive for ten yuan. It was not safe to climb with one hand using a mobile phone. It is best to buy some tomatoes, cucumbers and the like at the foot of the mountain so that you can eat them when you are tired of climbing. The higher you go, the more expensive they are.

Yangkou Scenic Area is simply amazing. When I bought the ticket at the service hall of the scenic area, I felt that the ticket price of more than 100 yuan was expensive, because when the bus drove to the ticket purchase location, the surrounding scenery was really bad. Later, when I took the scenic bus to drive inside, the road was along the coast and very wide. To go to Yangkou, you have to transfer at a Taoist temple. After that, the road for more than ten kilometers is along the coast, watching fishing boats and fishing villages. There is nothing special about the mountain in Yangkou. It is recommended to take the cable car, which is fast. After that, it is more interesting, especially the Mitian Cave, which is difficult. Fat people may not be able to climb up. At the top is Tianyuan, and the scenery below the mountain is unobstructed!

I visited the Yangkou Scenic Area in Laoshan, Qingdao. I took the cable car for two-thirds of the way up, and climbed up from the Midian Cave for the remaining one-third. It was so difficult to walk up. The cave was very narrow, and only one person could climb up at a time. It was also very dark. I rented lights for lighting at the scenic spot, which was very exciting. I finally climbed to the top of Laoshan!
