The museum is unique and ingenious. The first floor houses the temporary exhibition hall "Benliu Art Garden," the multi-functional lecture hall "Shuren Hall," and the "Chaohua Library," which houses the remains of Lu Xun's contemporaries. The second floor houses the "Son of Man: Lu Xun's Life Exhibition," which won the 10th National Museum Top Ten Exhibition Award and the 2011 Shanghai Museum Exhibition Award.

Also called Hongkou Park, it’s actually pretty good, with a lot of things to do.

The memorial hall is a building in the style of the folk houses in Lu Xun's hometown of Shaoxing. It is a trinity of Lu Xun Memorial Hall, Lu Xun's life exhibition, Lu Xun's tomb and Lu Xun's former residence.

I didn't go in, but I walked around the park. There are many municipal parks like this in Shanghai, almost in every district, and they are a great place for citizens to relax.

The Lu Xun Memorial Hall is closest to the entrance on Tianai Road. The style of the memorial hall is both traditional and modern.

The museum houses a large collection of Lu Xun's cultural relics and documents. The facilities are quite complete, but the air conditioning is too cold, so it is best to bring a coat when visiting.

There are many playbacks of Mr. Lu Xun's life story in the museum. There are not many people, so it is very comfortable. You can visit slowly and leisurely and learn about it in detail. There are also different forms of entertainment such as sand painting and answering questions about the works, which can be regarded as very thoughtful.

The memorial hall does not require a ticket, but you will need to go through security check after entering. The memorial hall comprehensively introduces Lu Xun's various articles and life deeds.

It is worth seeing to appreciate the style of a great literary master.

Lu Xun alone is worth a visit. Everything is on display on the second floor. Two things struck me: one was a mural, easily missed. No matter when you look at Lu Xun, he's always watching you. The other was the books—tons and tons of them, either written by Lu Xun or about him.

The Shanghai Lu Xun Memorial Hall is the first dedicated memorial hall to a figure and a prominent figure since the founding of the People's Republic of China. It also manages Lu Xun's tomb, a protected cultural relic. The Shanghai Lu Xun Memorial Hall integrates Lu Xun's former residence, his tomb, and the museum's exhibitions on his life. A statue of Lu Xun stands in front of the hall, cherry trees are planted in the garden in front of the hall, and a herb garden is located within the hall.

Enter a memorial hall to learn about a person's life. The Luxun Memorial Hall in Luxun Park is very well designed. After walking around, I learned a lot and it is worth a visit.

The main content is the introduction to Lu Xun's life, with many photos and video materials, and you can also get a booklet as a souvenir.

Located in Luxun Park in Hongkou District, it is an independent building with free admission. An entrance wall is filled with messages from many children after visiting the park. The exhibition hall upstairs displays many photos of Mr. Lu Xun during his lifetime, introductions to his deeds, relics, handwritten manuscripts and a large number of literary works. The number of his works is so astonishing that many people probably cannot finish reading them in their lifetime. Salute to the great man!

The Lu Xun Memorial Hall, built in the style of Shaoxing residential buildings, houses exhibits on Lu Xun's life. Upon entering, you'll see a statue of Lu Xun. As you ascend the stairs, you'll see the lawn opposite also trimmed to resemble Lu Xun.

There are many exhibits in the museum, but I didn't take any photos. One of them is Lu Xun's death mask, which is said to be the museum's treasure, but it is also a replica. This is the collection of Lu Xun's works at the exit of the exhibition hall, which looks quite impressive.

I have always liked Lu Xun so I want to know everything about him.

The Lu Xun Memorial Hall is in the Lu Xun Park and is worth a visit. When I went there, there happened to be a tour guide giving an introduction, so I went to the second floor first.

The second floor mainly introduces Mr. Lu Xun's life, with corridors decorated with his various works, portraits made of flowers and plants whose colors change with the seasons, warning quotes that can be rotated for viewing, documentaries using multimedia technology that one can walk into, various precious objects and manuscripts, and even Mr. Lu Xun's hair.

However, what attracted me most was an exhibition corner showing daily life. There were letters written by Lu Xun to his family, in which he called himself "little white elephant", Xu Guangping "little hedgehog", and Haiying "little red elephant". How intimate and interesting.

In this, I saw Mr. Lu Xun shedding his literary and combative attributes and returning to his human nature, and I also saw love in it.

The first floor of the memorial hall will hold some related exhibitions from time to time. When I went there, the "Lu Xun Book Binding Art Exhibition" was in progress.

Going here is more about its significance. Of course, you will also have a deeper understanding of Lu Xun.

The Lu Xun Memorial Hall is located inside the Luxun Park and is open to the public free of charge. The name of the hall was proposed by Premier Zhou Enlai, making it the first memorial hall for a figure in China.

The memorial hall has two floors, and the main exhibition is on the second floor.

The exhibition area is not arranged in chronological order, but is divided into several themes, introducing Mr. Lu Xun from several aspects.

There are many exhibits, but most of them are marked as replicas. I wonder where the originals are?

The museum's treasure is Mr. Lu Xun's mask. The staff claimed that taking photos was not allowed, but they did write that it was a replica and did not prohibit taking photos.

There are free tours regularly, and the guides are the most patient I have ever seen. After introducing the content of the short film, they will accompany tourists to watch it.

The Luxun Memorial Hall is located in Luxun Park, formerly Hongkou Park. I lived nearby when I was little. I've been to Hongkou Park numerous times, but this was my first time at the Luxun Memorial Hall. I picked up a free ticket at the entrance ticket office. Just a reminder: you're not allowed inside in slippers, and you'll need to go through a security check upon entering. The memorial hall is divided into two floors. The second floor houses the exhibition hall, which features many precious exhibits, including Lu Xun's manuscripts, works, and old photos, all presented in great detail. On my way out, I ran into a lot of elementary school students visiting the hall. It felt like time had flown by, and it reminded me of my own childhood...

I took the subway Line 3 and got off at Hongkou Football Stadium Station. After walking around the stadium, I came to the nearby Luxun Park. While walking around the park, I saw the Luxun Memorial Hall. I was curious and asked if I needed a ticket. The staff on site said that it was free to enter with a ticket. I read a lot of records about Mr. Lu Xun's life in the memorial hall. It was very good and very touching. There is also a group of wax figures inside. It looks like seeing the real person. After visiting the whole museum, I specially made a commemorative medal coin. It cost about two yuan. It is made of copper and looks very nice.

There is a particularly good place next to it, which should be called Luxun Park. Many residents from the surrounding area come here for activities, various praises, and various musical instruments. I like a famous quote from Lu Xun: I face the criticism of thousands of people with a cold brow and bow my head to serve as a cow for children. It tells the life story of Lu Xun and is worth reading.

I recommend going in and taking a look, it's free. I like the place where all the books related to Lu Xun are placed. The ceiling is a mirror, and the feeling of being deep inside is amazing.

By Wang Feng |

It's a great place. I visited the Lu Xun Museum about three years ago, and photography wasn't allowed there then. I wonder how it's doing now. The museum has many Lu Xun artifacts and works from the time, and the layout is very unique. After visiting the Lu Xun Memorial Museum, you might want to search for "Lu Xun's Former Residence" on your phone; the two places are very close. However, there's an entrance fee to the Lu Xun Former Residence, which seems to be 10 yuan.

I happened to visit the Lu Xun Memorial Hall by chance. There are exhibits and animations inside. They are very well done. I think Lu Xun is really a great man. I recommend you to go and see it.

By Xiao Lei |

It was very quiet and solemn inside the building, and I was moved by the elegant handwriting of the young people of the New Culture Movement on the first floor.

The second floor is about Lu Xun and has two screening rooms.

One was showing the works of Lu Xun on a very large screen with English and Japanese subtitles, though with a lot of delay and the picture quality was weak compared to the surrounding atmosphere.

The second is the exit of the museum, which is about Lu Xun’s memorial service. Friends who are interested in this can stop by for a while.

Overall it's good

You can find it in Luxun Park by following the signs. Although you need to enter the park by ticket, you can get it by showing your ID card. It is free. There are materials related to Mr. Lu Xun, including his life, books, clothes, his family and friends. There are two versions, Chinese and Japanese. Maybe it is because he once studied in Japan. After reading it, you will have a more comprehensive understanding of Mr. Lu Xun.

At the Lu Xun Memorial Hall, I felt the hospitality of a Shanghainese woman. Seeing me reading the introduction outside, she approached me to tell me I didn't need a ticket. Seeing me taking photos, she even asked if I needed one. So, who says Shanghainese are xenophobic? I didn't feel that way. My favorite part of the museum was the sand painting, which depicts characters from Lu Xun's literature in the form of sand paintings. It's a shame there weren't any stools; it would have been much better to sit and enjoy the scenery. I also bought three postcards from the museum's Neishan Bookstore.

You are not allowed to enter at 4 o'clock, and you are not allowed to bring water in paper cups into the memorial hall. There is no ticket for the memorial hall.

The exhibits on the first floor are not very good, mainly furniture and the like. The second floor is the main place for visitors. I have to say that Lu Xun is really a great writer. I really admire his spirit of being willing to serve others.

The entire memorial hall has very advanced facilities. There is an animated film-style explanation of the construction of the Lu Xun statue. You can bring your own two-yuan coins to buy a commemorative medal from the vending machine on the second floor. There is nothing worth buying in other shops in the hall.

Inside Luxun Park, there's a topiary statue of Lu Xun on the second floor. The interior also evokes a sense of history and literary heritage. Those interested in Lu Xun's literature should definitely visit.
