Baihuatan Park

Baihuatan Park is located beside the Jinjiang River. It is an old park in Chengdu with many flowers, trees and good air. The Huiyuan inside is a good place to commemorate Ba Jin.

Walking to Baihuatan Park gave me a big surprise! The bougainvillea in the park was in full bloom, and many people were taking pictures.

It’s a street park for morning exercises. It’s free and you can drink tea and relax while enjoying the beautiful scenery!

Actually, I came here just because it was so close to the hotel. It was only a few hundred meters away on foot. There are some bonsai and Ba Jin statues inside. Locals should go there more often. We sat inside for a while and it was quite quiet. I heard that there was a Hui Garden inside that was built according to a scene in Ba Jin's novel "Family", but after searching for a long time, I only saw the door, which was locked. Through the glass, I saw a pile of debris inside. If you have nothing to do, you can go in and take a look, but don't expect too much.

Baihuatan Park is located on the south bank of Huanhua Creek in downtown Chengdu, adjacent to Qingyang Palace and Du Fu Thatched Cottage.

As a small park in the city, it is very good. There is no need for tourists from other places to come and see it. It is good for locals to visit it frequently. There is a Sanhua Tower inside, which is not very high. Because it is surrounded by urban areas, there is no sense of height difference. But it is quite famous in history. Li Bai also wrote a poem here, leaving behind the sentence "Today, I climbed up and looked around, as if I were traveling in the sky", which is as exaggerated as always, which is his style.

The setting sun shines obliquely, and the scenery is picturesque. The beauty of Baihuatan Park in the evening is a bit intoxicating. There are not many people at this time, and the whole park is very quiet, which makes me feel peaceful.

Baihuatan Park is located on the south bank of Huanhua Creek in Chengdu, adjacent to Qingyang Palace and Du Fu Thatched Cottage. The park is mainly bonsai, with Sichuan characteristics highlighted in the tree planting configuration, and is especially famous for its orchid bonsai. The park is mainly composed of Lei Garden, White Garden, Hui Garden, Xiyuan, Guoxiang Garden, and Bonsai Garden, each with its own unique layout, which is very ingenious.

You can drink tea in the park, the environment is very quiet.

It's a very ordinary park. There's really nothing to do there. I went there and came back half-cooked.

Baihuatan Park is right next to the Sunny Youth Hostel where I live. The park has a nice environment, and there are often some grandpas and aunts in it. In general, it is a park with a good environment.

The garden is not particularly large, but the scenery is nice. There is a big ginkgo tree at the entrance, which is super beautiful. There are also viewing potted plants in the yard. It is really comfortable.

Baihuatan Park is located on the west side of Chengdu city, just across the river from Qingyang Palace. Baihuatan is a public park with a very high green coverage rate and many plant varieties, hence the name Baihuatan. Baihuatan is divided into several areas according to the plants, mostly where some elderly people and citizens rest, and foreign travelers basically pass through Baihuatan. The highlight of Baihuatan is the thousand-year-old ginkgo tree. In autumn and winter, the ginkgo leaves cover the ground, and the scenery is very beautiful. Baihuatan Park has convenient transportation, and there is also a parking lot at the side door. The park itself does not require tickets.

In Chengdu, when the sun comes out, Baihuatan Park is one of the must-visit places. It is not only quiet and lush with flowers and trees, but also a very pleasant place to drink tea and chat, right by the Jinjiang River.

Walking to the end of Qintai Ancient Trail, I saw the gate of Baihuatan Park. I went there to see the ginkgo. There is a Sanhua Tower on the right side of the gate, which looks like an ancient tower. You can drink tea and enjoy the scenery. The park is free. After entering, there is a bridge across the river. There is a place with red maple and ginkgo on the left side of the bridge. The scenery is very good. Going forward is the famous Tang Dynasty Ginkgo King, which is really big and beautiful. Many people are taking pictures. The root of this Ginkgo King is very wide, and the crown is not big. It may be more famous because of its long history. Standing under the tree, when the wind blows, the ginkgo leaves fall, and the yellow leaves falling all over the sky are really beautiful. There are also many ginkgo trees around. Walking over from the left is the most beautiful Ginkgo Road. It feels like the ground is paved with gold. It feels like a good place to enjoy ginkgo. It is a beautiful and exquisite small park. It satisfied my desire to see ginkgo at once. There are also one or two teahouses inside where you can rest and drink tea, but they are basically elderly people. If you don't have a ticket, take bus No. 126; get off at Fanglin Road West on bus No. 127 and enter the south gate of Baihuatan Park. Next to Baihuatan Park is Qingyang Palace. You can go to Qingyang Palace after visiting it. You can also drive by yourself. There are many parking lots nearby.

Once you arrive at Baihuatan Park, you will find the gate is particularly simple and the decoration inside is also very classical. There are bonsai everywhere. Walking along the stone road, you will feel like you are in an ancient manor. Several major features inside are that there are few people, many plants, many flowers, many elderly people and children (although there are not many people), the environment is quiet, and the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant. No wonder the air in Chengdu is so good. Many of these green parks are in the city center, and the environment is not bad. There are also teahouses, mahjong, erhu players, and chats inside, which is peaceful.

Located within the First Ring Road, not far from Qingyang Palace and Qintai Ancient Path Antique Street, it is small in scale and has almost no tourists from other places. It is very quiet and suitable for leisurely strolls and tea drinking. There are thousand-year-old ginkgo trees and Huiyuan, which was built based on the description in Ba Jin's "Family".

Baihuatan Park definitely has the ecological environment of the upper level of Chengdu, and it is also the park with the best water quality. Built along the river, the sound of waves remains, close to the Cultural Park and Qintai Ancient Classics, it is a good scenic spot. The park consists of bonsai gardens, lakes and pools, covered bridges and various famous ancient trees, forming a unique landscape. The whole park is novel in construction, elegant in layout, lush in flowers and trees, and shady in bamboo trees. It is full of fun and shows the style of "ancient, literary, quiet and elegant". Of course, mahjong is also a major feature, and the set menu service has a strong Chengdu flavor.

Baihuatan Park has a quiet environment and is very suitable for a leisurely stroll in the morning.

I passed by on the way to Caotang and crossed inside. There were some calligraphers writing poems and painting inside, and there was also a bonsai show. It was quite leisurely and a good park for a walk after dinner.

In a very ordinary corner of the park, people sit in groups of three or four, order a cup of tea, and then play two rounds of mahjong at the table. In this intermittent sound of mahjong, they spend a leisurely day.

There are many places to drink tea in the park. It is also interesting to sit by the lake and drink tea and rest. Watching the old grandpas and grandmas playing cards and chatting is also interesting.

There were people playing mahjong in the park, which really made me appreciate the mahjong culture of Chengdu! We also set up a table and played Sichuan mahjong while drinking tea, but unfortunately we were unlucky all afternoon and didn't win a single game!

I came here because there is Ba Jin's former residence in the garden.

Minghui Garden. There is also a rockery waterfall in the park, which is built to imitate the beautiful scenery of Nuorilang Waterfall and Wucai Pool in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. But after seeing the real Jiuzhaigou, it is really a bit ridiculous to look at this. Although the park is not big, it is quite exquisite.

Baihuatan Park is a park with a very good environment. I remember there is a memorial hall of Ba Jin in it. The layout was designed with reference to Ba Jin's "Family".

There are lush forests and bamboos, winding paths, plum and willow trees on both sides of the river, the fragrance of osmanthus, rockery and waterfalls, fish swimming and birds singing, pavilions and towers, each with its own charm.

There are free parks in the city, and there are bonsai exhibitions when you go there. There are several parks in Chengdu, and each park has places to play mahjong and drink tea. Chengdu people really know how to live.

No tickets are required, just go in and have a look, it's a good place to kill time, not very disappointed

The trees in the park are so big, and it's so cool under the shade. There are many parents bringing their children to play, which reminds me of my childhood. There are many teahouses, where you can drink tea and chat. My husband and I also got a cup.

Not only in Baihuatan Park, but also in other parks, you will find that no matter when, from the elderly to babies in strollers, they will come to these places to walk, cool off, rest, and have fun.
