The total length is about 29 kilometers, with a long and secluded canyon. The highest peak of Siguniang Mountain, Yaomei Peak, is located here.
This is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, the base camp for climbing the three and four peaks, and a great place for hiking enthusiasts.
The scenic area includes Zhangmu Village, Ancient Cypress Trail, Lama Temple, Ganhaizi, a waterfall several tens of meters high, and strange rocks.
Changpinggou is mainly composed of forests, canyons and snow-capped mountains on top of the canyons. The scenery is magnificent and most sections can only be traveled by horseback or on foot.

The horse rider was always nearby, wanting us to ride horses. In the end, he offered us a ride of more than 40 minutes for 50 yuan. However, because Ayun was wearing a skirt, it was inconvenient for us to ride horses, so even with such an attractive price, we did not ride horses.
We had to register at the door, so I sat inside and warmed myself by the fire for a while. The cold was bearable.
I went into a temple and burned three sticks of incense.
It was early, cold, and no one was around.
Ayun asked me why I walked so fast
I said, because I'm cold
I was so cold that I stomped my feet!!
But I was also worried that Ayun behind me was in danger.
So touching!
A little sunshine!
To play slow shutter
The hand that Ayun warmed for me froze again
Finally felt the sunshine
So I started walking slowly
But it's not easy to make it to now
We really want to go back to the hostel and sleep.
Getting up too early in the morning
And it feels...
The scenery is just so-so...
There's no motivation for me to keep going...
The sun has hundreds of forms
Waiting for thousands of people in the world to discover
The forest we passed by was very beautiful, and it should be able to produce a very good portrait.
But it's dangerous to go down there
We passed by
Walking in the sunshine
It’s so happy!
"Changpinggou, an ancient battlefield site, is one of the three valleys and one mountain in Siguniang Mountain. Changpinggou is 29 kilometers long and covers an area of about 100 square kilometers. The canyon is long and gentle. Siguniang Mountain is located 16 kilometers away in the valley."
"In the scenic area, there are ancient cypress paths, Lama temples, dry lakes, waterfalls tens of meters high, and strange rocks. In spring, mountain flowers and rape flowers bloom together; in autumn, red birch and red maple compete for beauty. The lush green cypresses and pines that have experienced vicissitudes of life, waterfalls and springs gurgle in the dense forest, and ancient post roads stretch through the vast sea of forests."
The sightseeing bus in Changpinggou only runs between the gate of the scenic area and the Lama Temple. The Lama Temple is the real starting point of Changpinggou Scenic Area. The following itinerary only has two options: hiking or riding a horse. Of course, you can choose to divide the journey into sections according to your own situation. In other words, you can freely combine walking for a section and riding for a section.
Changpinggou is very suitable for beginners of hiking. It is not very strenuous, there is signal throughout the whole journey, the scenery is nice, there are supplies along the way, and if you really can't walk, you can ride a horse. The camping conditions are also very good, there is a canteen, and there is wifi during the day. This is also the first time I have encountered a camping site with a well-built toilet. It is truly an outdoor paradise.
Many people are intimidated by the 28 kilometers. But as long as you have time, a plan, and faith, you can finish it. We hiked for 8 hours and felt a great sense of accomplishment. The scenery was also great.
Changpinggou is 29 kilometers long and covers an area of about 100 square kilometers. It is the most essential part of the entire Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area. Siguniang Mountain is located 16 kilometers into the gully, and you can enjoy Siguniang Mountain up close. Changpinggou is also a hiking route, which is less intense than Haizigou.
Because we entered the mountain late, we only walked to the Tangbai Ancient Trail and then returned.
The three valleys in Siguniang Mountain are Changping Valley, Shuangqiao Valley and Haizi Valley. Shuangqiao Valley is the most developed one. You can take a sightseeing bus to visit the whole way. If you bring the elderly and children, you can take this way. Generally, you can visit it in half a day. You must take a sightseeing bus to the first part of Changping Valley, and you can ride a horse or hike to the second part, which takes at least a day. Haizi Valley is the least developed valley. There is no sightseeing bus, and you can ride a horse or hike the whole way.
Changpinggou is about 29 kilometers long. Because it is an important camp for climbing the three peaks and the four peaks, and you can also cross to Bipenggou from here, there are relatively more people hiking. For safety reasons, you will register your ID card before entering the door. If you return on the same day, it depends on whether you come back. First, you have to take a sightseeing bus to the Lama Temple, where you can choose to hike or ride a horse. The routes are different, on both sides of the river. If you hike, there is a wooden plank road from the Lama Temple to Xiaganhaizi, which is about 7 kilometers. The road behind is like in the forest, with some bad roads. You will meet with the horse riders later. If you return on the same day, the wooden mule is the end point, and you can't go on, otherwise you can't return on the same day. In fact, if most people don't ride horses, they can only go to Ganhaizi and return, because the scenic spot sightseeing bus will be closed at 5:30, and once the sun is blocked by the mountain at more than 3 pm, the temperature inside will be very low, which is still dangerous. Don't force it if you can't reach the end.
I call Changpinggou the "holy land of rampage". It is also the type where your body goes to hell and your eyes go to heaven. However, it is not like the plateau climbing in Daocheng Yading, but the kind where you walk until your feet become flat (walking more than ten kilometers round trip)... Because it is quite tiring, there are relatively few people compared to Shuangqiaogou where you can take a car the whole way. On the second day of the National Day, the situation in this scenic spot is: there is no queue for buying tickets, no queue for transportation, and there is often no one on the plank road in the scenic area. The horses that carry people up the mountain are so idle that they are dozing off...
Apart from the geographical knowledge that we forget after seeing it, we can see the value of visiting Changpinggou:
Value point 1️⃣ You can see Siguniang Mountain throughout the journey, and Yaomei Peak has a great view;
Value point 2️⃣ There are snow-capped mountains, streams, and unique vegetation and forests;
Value point 3️⃣ You can cross from Changpinggou to Bipenggou, and there are beautiful scenery along the way (this long route is more tiring, and only a few hikers will consider it).
1️⃣After buying the ticket, take the shuttle bus to the gully entrance for about 10 minutes, then walk a short distance along the main road to the Lama Temple, and then start walking along the plank road. The total length of the plank road is 7 kilometers. After walking 7 kilometers, you can continue to walk on the dirt road for sightseeing. Some travel groups will also cross to Bipenggou.
2️⃣Because the altitude is about 3500, friends who have altitude sickness or are not good at walking can choose to ride horses. There are many horses in the scenic area, but they are all privately owned and the price is not low.
3️⃣ The round trip walk takes 7-8 hours, which takes a whole day. Try to go in early, one because of time reasons, and the other because there are fewer clouds in the morning, so it is better to appreciate the snow-capped mountains. There will be more clouds from noon to afternoon, and the peaks may not be visible.
4️⃣ Carry plenty of water and dry food.
5️⃣Try to choose soft-soled sports shoes.
Changpinggou is the most compromised ditch. To visit Changpinggou, you first need to take a sightseeing bus, which is 7 kilometers one way, to the Lama Temple, and then there is no road. You can choose to hike or ride a horse. Since the two are two separate roads running parallel, Evan recommends that you give priority to hiking if you have enough energy, the scenery is better and you can take pictures more casually. There are three major attractions from the Lama Temple, namely the Lama Temple-Deep Tree Beach-Dry Lake-Mumulizi. Each section is about 2-4 kilometers and takes 1-2 hours. Mumulizi is the end of Changpinggou, and tourists are not recommended to go deeper. And please note that you have to return by the same route, so most people may start the return journey after walking to Ganhaizi, and they can't even reach Mumulizi, because the scenic spot sightseeing bus will close at 5 o'clock in the off-season/5:30 in the peak season. If you go back too late and can't get on the sightseeing bus, you still have to walk 7 kilometers to the gate of the scenic spot. It's terrible to think about it! Compared with the other two valleys, Changping Valley excels in forests and waterscapes: Changping Valley is the valley with the densest forest coverage. It stretches along the river and is surrounded by mountains and water. It takes a whole day to visit, so it is best to bring enough dry food.
The Changpinggou plank road has been repaired and is easy to walk on. The last 3 kilometers of muddy road is very strenuous. The weather is bad, and I walked a short distance for fear that it would be dark when I turned back. The scenery is quite satisfactory. The plank road walks along the river. There is a little snow on the top of the mountain. The fog is relatively thick and there is nothing to see.
Enter Changpinggou Scenic Area at 9 am, ticket price is 70 yuan, battery car is 20 yuan, horseback riding is 330 yuan (including 10 yuan insurance) (divided into itineraries, different itineraries have different prices), battery car only goes to Lama Temple, where you can choose to walk or ride a horse, my companion and I chose to ride a horse for the whole journey, arrived at the Mumuli scenic spot at 12:30, dismounted at the dead tree beach when returning, and chose to walk back to the Lama Temple, only to find out that it is actually completely possible to walk as long as it does not rain or snow, walk to the end of the wooden plank road, and then walk on the horse trail to reach the Mumuli scenic spot, where you can also choose to walk forward, the scenery in front is said to be better, but the itinerary to Mumuli by horseback is not possible, the horseman stayed there for more than ten minutes and returned, and it costs 200 yuan to ride a horse forward, which is much freer on foot, but I am worried that I will not be able to catch up with the scenic spot transportation bus when returning, but it is not far from the gate of the scenic spot, a few minutes' drive. In terms of time for hiking and horseback riding, horseback riding should be faster because there are fewer photos. Next time, you must choose to hike. Riding a horse only saves some energy, which especially affects taking photos. The horseman won't let you stop. Finally, I got angry and quarreled with them. When hiking, you must hurry up in front and don't stay too long. The back is the beautiful place. Return to the entrance of the scenic spot at 17:00 in the afternoon. Changpinggou is 29 kilometers long. It takes only a few minutes to take a battery car from the ticket office to the Lama Temple, which is about 7 kilometers away. From the Lama Temple, you can only choose to hike or ride a horse. The section from the Lama Temple to Xia Ganhaizi in Changpinggou is built with a plank road, and the section from Xia Ganhaizi to Muluzi is very bad. Tourists who go back and forth on the same day can walk as far as Muluzi. Those who go further are hikers who are ready for camping. From Changpinggou, you can bypass Siguniang Mountain and cross to Bipenggou. This route is one of the top ten classic crossing routes in China.
It's a good walk and the scenery along the way is also nice. Highly recommended.
The scenery really exceeded expectations. It is recommended to walk on the plank road on the way there and ride a horse on the way back. The scenery on both sides of the river can be said to be very different and each has its own characteristics.
The scenery of Changpinggou after the snow was beyond expectations. It took about 5-6 hours to go back and forth to the Dead Tree Beach.
Changpinggou in winter also has a different scenery.
Those who are both happy and sad will enter Changpinggou and enjoy the scenery all the way with a headache. It is recommended to walk along the plank road and then ride a horse to see the scenic spots deep inside. The deeper you go, the more beautiful it is. You can ride all the way to Shuibazi.
I went to Changpinggou four days ago. I was on a business trip to Chengdu and decided to go on a spontaneous trip. The scenery was endless along the way, and I also found a fellow traveler in the valley.
It was a very torturous hike to walk back and forth on the wooden mule with both legs.
I hiked 37km alone in 9 hours and finished the route from the entrance of the scenic area. It was super fun. The scenery along the way was also beautiful.
The section from the entrance of the scenic area to the Changpinggou plank road requires walking. A long journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. I started walking in one go, but the early morning chill penetrated the wooden plank road and hit my feet. The more I walked, the more I felt my legs numb.
The plank road winds along the mountain, but it is no longer like the old forest where the towering trees made people breathless. The scenery along the road becomes more and more open, and every time you turn a corner and step on a step, you can feel the surprise of "a new village after a dark tunnel".
Along the way, I looked at Mount Siguniang from different angles and felt the shock it brought to my heart. It's hard to describe some kind of mysterious power that makes people yearn for it.
Here, I still want to sincerely sigh at the scenery on the lower half of the mountain. It is like an oil painting by Van Gogh, with bright and colliding colors and a vigorous vitality. Although it is late autumn, there is no trace of decline and decadence. The scenery is as beautiful as an elegant lady. Every frown, smile, stop and look back are enough to freeze the moment. If you come again, you might as well bring paper, pen and paint, and write in your own way while being intoxicated.
Seriously, after touring Changping Valley, the moment I closed my eyes I could see the snow-capped peaks of Mount Siguniang.
What you see with your eyes is far more beautiful than what you see in photos. And this kind of beauty is spiritual, every time you look up, every time you see it, there is a subtle difference. It's like a lover in love, although you see each other often, every time you meet, you still have the heart-pounding feeling of the first meeting.
The plank road is sparsely populated, and away from the hustle and bustle of the world, the world has become quiet.
Compared with Shuangqiaogou, Changpinggou is less developed. If Shuangqiaogou is a packaged and packaged scenery presented to tourists, then Changpinggou is an unrestrained and relatively primitive wild exploration journey.
The return trip on horseback to the starting point of the plank road was not very relaxing. The horse trail parallel to the plank road was simply the mine car 2.0 version. It crossed many steep ups and downs, waded through several turbulent streams, and made sharp turns along the cliffs. It felt like this horse was like an all-around gymnast shuttling between the mountains and forests, and it was just short of a 360° turn in the air. Thinking back now, my stomach still churns. The brave ones can experience it, but for "middle-aged and elderly friends" like me who have reached the limit of mine cars in amusement parks and prefer to climb mountains and drink tea in their spare time, it is not recommended.
Because of the good weather, everything was good. The snow-capped mountains were beautiful, the streams were clear, and the facilities along the way were good. Regarding the question of horse riding and hiking, I really think I shouldn't ride a horse, the scenery on the horse riding route is really much worse! I walked there and came back to ride a horse, and I feel very regretful!
From 10 am to 5 pm, it took 7 hours. During this period, we experienced icy weather, heavy snow and rain, but we still persevered to the end. When the clouds cleared, we saw the snow-capped mountains. At this moment, all the hardship was worth it.
Changpinggou is located at the foot of Siguniang Mountain, with a total length of more than 30 kilometers. It is best to bring dry food and mineral water when entering the valley, as it is not easy to find a place to eat. The vegetation in the valley is rich and lush, with large tracts of virgin forests, ancient cypresses and pines interlaced and crisscrossed, primitive and simple. The recommended playing time is about 6 hours. It takes 8 hours to hike 36,000 steps from the Lama Temple to Muluozi.
Changpinggou can only be accessed by foot or horseback. It is mainly composed of primeval forests, canyons, and snow-capped mountains. The ticket is 70 RMB. There is no food for sale on the road in Changpinggou. It is really walking in the primeval forest. It is also very beautiful when the leaves are full in autumn.
Changpinggou Road is quite easy to walk. The first 7 kilometers are plank roads, which are very easy. You can take pictures at the dead tree beach. After the plank road, the 4 kilometers are primitive forest roads. There is no difficult dirt road and no long uphill. It can be completed in about an hour. If the weather is good, the wooden mule should be very beautiful.
The shuttle bus runs from the gate of the scenic area to the ruins of the Lama Temple, a journey of about 5 kilometers. The following sections can only be traveled on foot or on horseback. Lama Temple-Kushutan is about 5 kilometers, which is the Tangbai Ancient Road. It is an uneven wooden plank road, which is slippery on rainy days or in winter when it is icy; Kushutan-Lianghekou is 5 kilometers, and Lianghekou-Muduozi is 5 kilometers. When you are close to Muduozi, it is a pasture with almost no road to walk on, and it is not easy for horses to pass. It mainly relies on walking or riding, and the difficulty of playing is greater than Shuangqiaogou.
Since we only planned to spend half a day in Changpinggou, after taking the shuttle bus, we walked about 1-2 kilometers along the wooden plank road to the viewing platform of Chongchong Waterfall, and looked at the Siguniang Mountain in the mist. Although we did not have a deep tour, the beautiful scenery of Changpinggou in Siguniang Mountain still left a good impression.
Crossing Changpinggou leads to Bipenggou. I saw many people crossing along the way and I admired them. The wooden mule is like a paradise on earth.
The car had only been driving for a few minutes when it turned a big bend and the beautiful Yaomei Peak suddenly cleared of the mist and appeared before our eyes! Everyone in the car was so excited that they kept snapping photos with their cameras.
Although I just took the photo casually on the bumpy car, I still captured the unique charm of Yaomei Peak. Fortunately, Yaomei Peak only showed its figure for a short while during the whole day, and hid behind the clouds and mist for the rest of the day, like a shy girl.
There are two routes to enter the Changpinggou Scenic Area: a wooden plank road for walking and a horseback ride by a caravan. The plank road is a road built in the primeval forest. It is relatively flat most of the time. Most tourists choose to walk, but not many people can actually walk the entire journey. After all, it is on a plateau, and it is not easy to walk the seven-kilometer plank road.
Walking along the plank road, you will pass by several scenic spots such as the Chongchongjiao Waterfall and the Dead Tree Beach. Forgive me for not remembering which scenic spots they were because there are too many artificial developments. I really don’t like such scenic spots. I have seen many virgin forests a long time ago, and they are all more beautiful than this one.
It is very flat, and there is no need to ride a horse. You can see free-range cattle and yaks along the way. After passing through a muddy and dense forest, you will reach the Changpinggou restaurant. A box lunch costs 15 yuan, and there are instant noodles and hot water. Friends with poor leg strength can choose to ride a horse on the way back. There are horsemen soliciting tourists along the way, which is very convenient.
The Changpinggou scenic spot opens at 7:30, so if you have enough energy, it is better to set off a little earlier.
The tour of Changpinggou is to take the scenic area bus for more than 6 kilometers to the front of the Lama Temple, and then walk a little to start the plank road to view the scenery. It is about 3 kilometers to the dead tree beach, and about 6 kilometers to the end of the wooden plank road (Xia Gan Haizi). Going further, the road is a horse trail, which is a little difficult, but this is a test arranged before the beautiful scenery...
It seems that more than 90% of tourists only walk on the wooden plank road; the few who walk on the horse trail usually walk to the wooden mule (a large straw mat), and then walk another 30 minutes further and there is said to be a lake, but unfortunately I didn’t go because of time constraints.
After getting on the scenic area bus and turning the mountain, we saw Yaomei Peak, and the tourists on the bus became excited.
It's even more beautiful when you look closer.
Changpinggou is a place with both plank roads and horse trails. The most beautiful scenery in Changpinggou is when you reach Mumuluozi, where you can see the Yaomei Peak of Siguniang Mountain in front of you. The mountain is covered with snow, and the peaks of Siguniang Mountain surrounded by meadows stand tall and undulating. Against the backdrop of blue sky and white clouds, it is particularly beautiful! There is a winding stream on the meadow, with clear water that nourishes the green grass and colorful wild flowers. The cattle and sheep are running happily, which is extremely beautiful!
We entered the scenic area at 7:30 in the morning and started a long and arduous journey! Along the way, Lao Xu was cheering me up, worried that I was exhausted and wanted to find a horse for me to go forward! I never thought that we would eat and rest along the way, take pictures while walking, and actually lived up to everyone's expectations and arrived at Mumulizi. When we saw the bright sunshine shining on Yaomei Peak, we were so excited! We took a burst of crazy photos with our mobile phones, cheering and jumping for joy! It was like a child! Only we ourselves know how difficult it was to come this way! Fortunately, we saw the beautiful scenery in our eyes, and all the hard work instantly became worthwhile! When we watched her standing under the blue sky and white clouds over and over again, we were full of thoughts! This is the magic of nature! How small and fragile people are in front of her! I only hope that we can always live affectionately in this unfeeling world!
Entering Changpinggou is a great place to see the Yaomei Peak of Siguniang Mountain. There are many shooting spots where you can take very good photos, which is worth visiting.
I entered Changpinggou yesterday (2018.7.26). I will objectively introduce Changpinggou to you. First, Changpinggou should be the ditch with the best scenery among the three ditch, but it also allows everyone to experience outdoor sports. So I give you a piece of advice here: If you have good physical strength, don't ride a horse, because riding a horse is on the left side of the ditch, while the plank road is on the right side of the ditch. I didn't ride a horse, so I don't know what the scenery on the left side of the ditch is like, but the scenery is definitely not as good as the plank road! Second, when you finish walking the plank road, you have actually enjoyed the best scenery of Changpinggou. If it doesn't rain and you still have physical strength, I suggest that you walk to Mumuli (you can also ride a horse). This section of the road is mainly through the primeval forest. The most important thing is that I think this section of the road is more of a test of will than sightseeing! The weather was very good when I went there, which is very important, because the weather in Aba Prefecture will seriously affect the scenery! Believe me, Changpinggou, as a representative of the three ditch, will not let you down!
There is really nothing to see in the scenic spot. You just walk along the wooden plank road for 7 kilometers and then return. The parking fee is 20 yuan, the ticket is 70 yuan, and the shuttle bus is 20 yuan, a total of 90 yuan. The 40-minute horseback ride is 100 yuan.
Affected by the earthquake, we walked for hours in Changpingli, and the number of people we met was less than one hand. It felt like a clearing. It should be said that Changpinggou is beautiful and quiet, and Siguniang is beautiful and amiable, but our trip to western Sichuan is about to end here, and we are a little tired of it.
There are many kinds of primitive plants in Changpinggou, and the vegetation is well preserved. In the vast primeval forest, ancient cypresses are tall and straight, green pines are dense and leafy, and fir trees and willows are dense and dense, covering the sky. Above, the sun shines through the treetops, casting thousands of golden rays; under the feet, the fertile soil covered with moss tells of the unique tranquility and primitiveness, just like a poetic and picturesque picture of "no one can be seen in the deep forest" and "clear springs flow over the rocks". At the end of the forest, it suddenly opens up, and you can see a meadow surrounded by mountains, with a stream flowing in between, winding and turning, as if entering another world.
The day we went there happened to be the Tibetan pilgrimage day. The dense Tibetans entered the mountain early in the morning and did not follow the same route as us. Before entering the valley, we signed a disclaimer at the scenic spot. They said it was a life and death statement. After passing a temple, we officially entered the valley. There was a 7km long wooden plank road. Going forward, there was an ancient cypress path and a waterfall of dozens of meters. We did not appreciate the scenery along the way. We walked in the front all the way. I have seen too many similar attractions. It was just like that. The air was very fresh.
The scenery is similar to other scenic spots. The front part is a walking plank road, and the back is a bad road and mud road. The only place worth seeing in the scenic spot is the wooden mule. There is really nothing else to see.
It happened that the weather was very good and the scenery was so beautiful that I was completely aesthetically fatigued. I met Changpinggou in early summer and agreed to come again in late autumn.
Road conditions: There is a 7-kilometer-long plank road at first, and then a dirt road. If it rains, part of the dirt road will be particularly muddy and flooded by streams. The black soil mixed with horse and cow manure is so refreshing to step on.
Number of days for tour: one day
Changpinggou is dominated by vegetation, shrubs, streams and waterfalls. The canyon is long and gentle. There are Chongchongjiao Waterfall and Jiarongdu Waterfall in the ditch, and the springs in the mountains are tinkling. Although Changpinggou is not as rough and unrestrained as Haizigou, nor as charming and charming as Shuangqiaogou, it has a special delicate beauty like perfume. The top note is the flourishing flowers and trees, the middle note is the tinkling waterfall, and the bottom note is the towering mountains and the flat meadows are endless. It can be said that Changpinggou contains all the parts of Shuangqiaogou and Haizigou and displays them vividly.
Because the dirt road after the plank road is not easy to walk, horses are provided. The price of horses is calculated according to the number of kilometers at each station. I have never ridden a horse, so I am not sure about the specific price. I chose to walk all the way up and back. I set out from the main gate at 9 o'clock and finished the plank road at 11 o'clock. I carried a camera and some miscellaneous things. My backpack weighed at least 8 or 9 kilograms. Finally, at around 1 o'clock, I arrived at Mumulizi.
The end point of Changpinggou tourist sightseeing is Mumulizi, and a little further is Shuidaba. This is the farthest place you are allowed to go, and going further is the crossing route.
Because of the weather, the view from the observation point is not very good. It makes me a little depressed. If you have enough money, I suggest riding a horse to Mumulizi after walking the plank road, and then walking back to enjoy the mountains and rivers. For a poor guy like me, it is better to hike!
I have been to Siguniang Mountain three times, and this is my second time hiking in Changpinggou. Compared with 7 years ago, the wooden plank road has been built much longer. I tried my best to walk with my SLR equipment but still only reached the end of the plank road.
A great hiking spot, only four and a half hours’ drive from Chengdu, it is worthy of being called Chengdu’s back garden. You can come here on weekends to experience the plateau climate and breathe fresh air.
It snowed heavily that day, and the entire Siguniang Mountain scenic area was covered in silver. It actually felt like Finland, very beautiful. It was a pity that I still couldn't see Meifeng from this angle; the second and third pictures are Pomiao Peak, which is pyramid-shaped and has a unique mountain shape; there is nothing to eat in the scenic area, it is recommended to bring some self-heating rice or other dry food; it's great, I will come here often
The sightseeing bus only goes to the Lama Temple, and we walk along the plank road afterwards. We go back and forth after reaching Mumulizi.
Tickets: 70 yuan
Sightseeing bus: 20 yuan
Suggestions: Don't go to the branches on the plank road such as Chongchongjiao Waterfall and Jiarongdu Waterfall. While you still have energy, walk to the end of the plank road. Don't come back when you reach the end. Walk another 8 kilometers to Mumuluzi. These 8 kilometers are the essence!!! You can also ride a horse, but be prepared to get your butt skin bruised.
We were lucky. It was cloudy for the first two days. It was sunny in the morning and cloudy again in the afternoon. It is about 13 kilometers from the entrance of the scenic area to Mumulizi. The first half is a plank road, which is easier to walk. The scenery is similar. The second half is a mountain road, which is not easy to walk. It is more of a test of physical strength and endurance. We got off the sightseeing bus at 8:40 in the morning and started walking. We arrived at Mumulizi at about 12:40. The clouds above were moving at any time, and the sky was changing. It was beautiful! We started to get off Mumulizi at 13:15 and returned to the entrance of the scenic area at about 15:40. My feet were a little sore and tired. But you can ride horses all the way. Overall, it is good and worth seeing as long as the weather is good and you have good physical strength.
Changpinggou
Changpinggou is a beautiful scenic corridor in the Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area. It needs to be visited on foot or on horseback. Sichuan-Tibet advises that you rent long boots provided by locals at the entrance, because there is a very difficult to walk in the marshland. If you are not well prepared for protection, your shoes will easily be scrapped.
Changpinggou is very beautiful and worth a visit. The water in the ditch is really big. There are high mountains, flowing water, blue sky and white clouds.
We entered the mountain on time at 9 o'clock in the morning, walked all the way to Mumulizi, then took photos and returned. It was already 5:30. The hiking time was about eight hours. The intensity was slightly high. If we rested normally, we could just catch the last bus. The scenery was good. I hope the bus time can be extended.
Changpinggou is mainly composed of forests, canyons and snow-capped mountains on top of the canyons. The scenery is quite good. The scenic area is not accessible by car and requires walking or riding.
If the weather is good, you can clearly see the four snow-capped mountains. You can spend half a day traveling through the primeval forest, enjoying the lung cleansing of negative oxygen ions and enjoying the spring scenery.
Hiking in Changpinggou, cleansing lungs in the negative ions of the primeval forest, feeling refreshed. A lot of snow in the deep woods has not melted yet, but the spring sunshine is not as cold as in winter.
If time permits, it would be a good idea to go to Mount Siguniang to experience a different spring in Sichuan.
Kushutan is under construction but the scenery is much better than Shuangqiaogou
We rode horses the whole way back and forth. Maybe we came at the wrong season. The road was muddy and the trees hadn't sprouted yet. Compared with the early spring and the heat at noon in Chengdu, this place seemed particularly deserted.
Changpinggou in April is rather desolate, but the weather is really good.
In the undeveloped areas, local Tibetans acted as tour guides and rode into the mountains on horseback. The most profound impression was the first time I climbed a hillside on horseback. I rode for a whole day and couldn't close my legs for 1 or 2 days in a row.
The Holy Mountain Siguniang, a snow-capped mountain not far from Chengdu, purifies the soul and feels the original flavor of the Tibetan and Qiang peoples
On February 17, we visited Changpinggou in Siguniang Mountain. We read many opinions of tourists. Two families with two children, one aged 9 and the other 12, arrived at the bus terminal at around 10 am and walked in. We walked and stopped, and at 1:40, we had not yet reached Ganzihai. We were still nearly halfway to the wooden mule we wanted to reach. Due to time and physical problems, we decided to return. We walked back to the dead tree stall and rode back on horseback. The price was 100 yuan per horse. There were 6 of us and 6 horses. The experience of riding horses was very good.
The most depressing thing was that we were asked to dismount from the horses in an unknown place. We walked across the ditch and climbed a long steep slope before we got back to the plank road. We were so tired that we were out of breath and had basically reached the limit of our physical strength.
But the overall experience is good, the ticket is not expensive, 50 yuan, the fare is 20 yuan, and the child ticket is half price. The consumption is not high, bring the two children together in summer!
2018.1.16 The whole family visited Siguniang Mountain and came to Changpinggou Scenic Area. We could see the scenery of Siguniang Mountain up close. We walked along the plank road and admired it. Because it was the off-season, there were few tourists, so it was a pleasure to enjoy the beautiful scenery slowly.
In December, I chose a horseback riding route in Changpinggou. I rode for 5 hours and hiked for 1 hour on the way back. I didn’t reach the end point because I didn’t have enough time. I can only say that Changpinggou is different in winter.
Very beautiful and shocking! Especially the view of Waipo Peak and Siguniang Mountain from the upper and lower Ganhaizi is so beautiful
As for the several kilometers of plank road, it is almost completely covered by vegetation, there are not many open places, and the few waterfalls are not very scenic. It is not recommended unless the weather is clear. The last bus leaves the scenic area very early. It is recommended to enter the scenic area as early as possible to have the opportunity to walk further and arrange time more conveniently. You can continue to walk down after reaching the end of the plank road. I mean a short section, which is completely dense forest, but it is estimated that there will be good scenery if you continue to walk. Whether it is the front plank road part or the back non-plank road part, you can choose to ride a horse.
One of the valleys in Siguniang Mountain, where you can hike all the way or ride a horse.
It was a sunny day when we went there. It was a little chilly in the morning before the sun shone into the ditch. We had to keep warm, as it would be warm once the sun came in.
It is very easy to walk on the wooden plank road and the scenery along the way is beautiful. Unfortunately, the most beautiful scenery can only be seen after passing Ganhaizi. This is a physical job and you must be prepared.
Because I don't like to travel by car all the time, I chose to go to Changpinggou. Later, it turned out that my choice was right. Before entering Changpinggou, you must take a sightseeing bus. It takes about 10 minutes to reach the entrance of the hike, and then hike the whole way, running all the way, taking pictures all the way. The trip started at 9:30, and even at such a fast pace, I didn't finish it, which was a bit regrettable. But when you get to Mumuluozi and walk about 500 meters into the forest, you will feel a sudden enlightenment. It is primitive, clean, blue sky, and beautiful mountains. It really lives up to expectations. If you want to see the most beautiful appearance of Changpinggou, remember to walk to Mumuluozi, and then go deeper and deeper. The good scenery is farther away.
The weather was good when we went there, and I was accompanied by the four girls all the way. It was also the time when autumn colors first appeared. The hike to Mumuluzi was quite tiring, but the scenery along the way was richer than the previous section.
四姑娘山的長坪溝主要以原始森林為主。可選擇步行也可騎馬。一般人步行就只到枯樹灘。
We walked for a long time. One word: tired. The route is from Shanghai to Lama Temple. The scenery in autumn is really good. We chose the most tiring ditch to play. There is no lack of beauty in this world, only the glasses to discover beauty.
The scenery along the plank road is actually similar, and you have to walk to the wooden mule. It is recommended that you ride up and then walk down, which can save energy and time. It will be more beautiful in early November when there are red leaves!
Because we were traveling with a tour group, we chose Changpinggou. If you were traveling on your own, I would suggest going to Shuangqiaogou, especially the beautiful scenery in autumn, which is golden and suitable for taking pictures.
Departed from Lama Temple at 11:00, arrived at Mumuli at 3:00, rested for 20 minutes, returned at 6:00, got off the mountain, and there was a car. The whole journey was 28 kilometers.
Foreign friends traveling with me said the scenery is no less than that of Yellowstone Park in the United States
If you like hiking and like the negative ions in the primeval forest to cleanse your lungs, I recommend Changpinggou. If you don't like hiking and just want to see the scenery and don't want to walk, I recommend Shuangqiaogou.
You must ride the wooden mule in Changpinggou
Travel off-peak, there are few people, the innkeepers all suggest not to go out during the National Day, saying that the price is expensive and there are many people, and the fun is not very pleasant. We live next to the ticket office of Changpinggou, all inns, the current price is 180, loft style, more than 800 during the National Day, the innkeepers are all funny, and the scenery is almost the same as the National Day, just a few days, it is recommended to see the yellow leaves and red leaves in mid-to-late October, then the scenery is beautiful! Also, if you don't ride a horse throughout the whole journey and want to walk the wooden snail, it is recommended to buy a ticket after 7 o'clock, because it takes about 7-8 hours to go back and forth, which is very hard! 17:30 is the last trip of the sightseeing bus. If you don't walk the wooden snail, it is recommended to only go to the dead tree beach or the plank road to finish the base camp in front. There is almost nothing to see in front of the dead tree beach, it is a complete waste of time. We arrived at the base camp today and walked forward for more than an hour, but we didn't see anything, and it was all horse roads and it was not easy to walk. Everyone on the sightseeing bus who came back said that they would never come again, it was really too tiring! The picture is taken by mobile phone and not processed.
It is a relatively mature scenic spot. From this ditch, you can go to Sanfeng, Yaofeng and Luotuofeng. But except for the public toilets at Kushutan, there are no public toilets elsewhere. The road after Kushutan is a dirt road, which is very muddy after rain.
It's a scam, the scenery is monotonous, and there is a huge pit where the indigenous people ride horses.
As for the scenery, I give it two hearts. It's not very good. Changpinggou can only walk along the plank road for 6 kilometers, and return along the original road. The scenery is too ordinary. What are the characteristics? Horseback riding? You ride on it and hold the rope. It costs 300 yuan to walk 6 kilometers slowly. There is nothing new. It just saves your legs. The public places are too bad and it hurts your eyes. I plan to go to Shuangqiaogou tomorrow, so I have to think about it!
Changpinggou is 29 kilometers long and covers an area of about 100 square kilometers. The canyon is long and gentle. Siguniang Mountain is located 16 kilometers into the valley. There are ancient cypress paths, Lama Temple, dry lakes, waterfalls tens of meters high, and strange rocks in Changpinggou Scenic Area. In summer, mountain flowers and rape flowers bloom together; in autumn, red birch and red maple compete for beauty. The lush green cypress and green pine trees that have experienced vicissitudes of life, the waterfalls and springs are gurgling in the dense forest, and the ancient post road stretches through the vast sea of forests.
It may take 4 hours to take a bus to the Lama Temple and hike to Mumulizi. Please see the pictures for the scenery.
28 kilometers round trip, 7 kilometers of wooden plank road, and 7 kilometers of horse trail.
We bought tickets at the Changpinggou gate at 8am, and then took a 20-minute bus ride to the Lama Temple. We started hiking from the Lama Temple at 8:20am and arrived at Mumulizi at 12:10pm. It took us about 4 hours to walk and take photos. The return trip was easier than the outbound trip. We started the return trip at 1:20pm and arrived at the Lama Temple at 4:30pm. It took us 3 hours, and the round trip was about 25km.
Walking in Changpinggou, I screamed and exclaimed all the way. It is so beautiful, especially for someone like me who has a special liking for dead trees and moss, I can immerse myself in the beauty of Changpinggou.
The scenery along the plank road is not amazing, and the snow-capped mountains are basically invisible. It is recommended to continue walking inside, and the muddy road after the hiking plank road is said to be more beautiful as you go inside.
Pay attention to time and safety.
This is a nice place. Friends who have been there know it. The only problem is that the altitude sickness is a bit severe.
I went there in April, the season was not very good, the trees had not yet sprouted green leaves, but Mount Siguniang was still covered with snow. After staying in Chengdu for a long time, it was great to come and breathe some fresh air.
There is no place to wash hands in the toilets of Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area. It is strongly recommended to bring hand sanitizer or wet wipes
The fare is not what is written in the transportation guide. If you really want to go, you have to go early. I didn't arrive until around 8:45 because I wanted to have some breakfast. (If you see a bus with empty seats before buying the ticket, it's best to greet the driver, otherwise you might end up like me if you're unlucky.) Then the previous bus had just left, and I waited for half an hour for the next bus to leave. It was already 9:30 when I got there. I had altitude sickness and it was really difficult for me to walk after walking the plank road. And there were really rice fields everywhere, so I suggest you go riding after walking the plank road. I didn't ride a horse because I came here for hiking. I thought that if I was tired after walking to Mumuli, I would ride a horse there. As a result, Mumuli didn't provide horses at all... The price of riding a horse is the same as the price from the plank road...
Scenery: I thought that everyone recommended Mumuli, and it must be worth seeing. I had the feeling of climbing the mountain with so much difficulty and finally seeing the sunset. I endured the tightness in my chest and my heart was beating wildly. After I arrived at the five-minute break, Mumuli gave me the feeling that my eyes were brightened and my vision was better. The wind was strong and there was still a lot of shit on the ground. It was a little closer to the snow mountain than Shuangqiaogou. I was alone and couldn’t catch the last bus. It was so desolate... Thinking that I came here just for hiking, I was not so depressed... If you come here to see the beautiful scenery, you should choose the most beautiful season.
