2012.3.8 Visit Luodai Ancient Town + Jinlong Great Wall. Jinlong Great Wall is also the largest simulated Great Wall in China. It is a half-hour drive from Luodai Ancient Town.

It's just so-so. It's not recommended for tourists from other places to go there specially, but you can go hiking here when you arrive in Luodai. It's okay to go hiking and breathe fresh air.

The Luodai Great Wall was originally named Jinlong Great Wall because it is located in Jinlong Town, Longquanyi District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. In 2004, Jinlong Town was transferred to Luodai Town, Longquanyi District, Chengdu City, so it is also called Luodai Great Wall.

The Golden Dragon Great Wall should have been a free and open public welfare project from the beginning. You can visit it while you go to Luodai, but it is not recommended to come here alone.

Interested friends can take photos. There are many snack shops outside the Great Wall. There are also vans that can take you directly to Luodai and then go shopping. There is a temple on the top of the mountain. Maybe because of the high altitude, it feels cool to sit here after climbing the Great Wall. There are not many places to visit inside. There is only a wishing pool that is more popular. It is also very good to try it for a dime.

Generally, people go to the Jinlong Great Wall after going to Luodai. Take the 850 bus directly at the Luodai bus station, and the fare is one yuan. If you don't want to walk to the station, you can also take a private minivan at one end of the ancient town, which costs 10 yuan per person, but many times you need to wait until it is full before you can leave. When you arrive at Jinlong, you can also take a minivan to go up the mountain, which costs 5 yuan per person and 30 yuan per car, but since you are here to climb the Great Wall, there is no point in taking a car. The ticket to the Great Wall is 5 yuan, which is also drunk. It is recommended that you buy water at the entrance of the scenic area or at the small stall just after entering the scenic area. The price is ridiculously expensive when you go up. If it is hot, pay attention to heatstroke prevention. There is a temple on the top of the mountain. You can buy a photo and then go to worship. It is basically climbing the Great Wall. The scenery is so-so, but it is good to exercise and breathe fresh air. There are occasionally fresh fruits for sale in the scenic area, and there are also some fruit yards near the Great Wall. You can choose according to your own situation. There are also some farmhouses nearby to solve meals. When we went there, it was midsummer, the weather was too hot, and there were few people. The locals in Chengdu call it the "Fake Great Wall". There is a Jinlong Temple on the top of the mountain. However, the slope is still very steep, reaching more than 60 degrees.

Regarding the Great Wall, it is very tiring. There is a long ladder when you go up, and you think it ends there. But it is not the case. There is a longer ladder after that. It is recommended that people with poor physical strength do not go there. It is also best to buy water at the bottom before going up. The price of water at the top is generally 4-8 yuan, and the farther you go, the more expensive it is.

If you go to climb the Great Wall, you must remember to bring floral water. You can't see the mosquitoes there, but they are everywhere, especially when the weather is not very sunny. I even brought floral water but my legs were still bitten by them. Yes, I am indeed popular with mosquitoes.

Children with poor physical strength should not go. It is a bit shaky when going up and down the slope, and it is a bit difficult to climb up. It is almost fatal when the weather is hot. There is not much difference from the Great Wall in other places

I suggest you go there early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the sun. It's a bit hot~~~ It's best to climb the Great Wall in the morning and go to Luodai Ancient Town at noon~

Although this Great Wall is much smaller than the Badaling Great Wall and not as spectacular, it is still a bit strenuous to climb. Since you have come all the way there, it is recommended to climb it. It is not bad.

The ticket to the Jinlong Great Wall scenic area is very cheap, only 5 yuan, but the Great Wall is very narrow, with only one road going up and down, and separated by iron railings.

Many vans came to pick up passengers. My friend and I chose to take a tricycle. It cost 20 yuan. We sat there for a long time, about half an hour, but it felt so good to drive on the mountain road.

The Jinlong Great Wall is very long, but we had to rush back to the ancient city to watch the Water Splashing Festival, so we climbed three sections, which was quite tiring....
