It's a pretty good ancient town with nice scenery, but the shops need to be further built and improved. There is a "Gouhun" braised food restaurant in the town, the taste is pretty good, and it's not sold online. The girl soliciting business at the door is very good at guessing the dingke. She changed 4 or 5 people and guessed no less than 10 times, but she only lost twice, which is really amazing.

Huanglongxi is located at the confluence of Fuhe River and Luxi River in the southwest of Shuangliu County, Chengdu. It is an ancient water town in western Sichuan with beautiful scenery, long history and rich cultural heritage, and has rich natural landscape resources and cultural tourism resources. It is known as the hometown of Chinese folk art fire dragon, a national pilot town for small town construction, a national demonstration town for comprehensive economic development of small towns, one of the first historical and cultural towns in Sichuan Province, a provincial scenic spot in Sichuan Province, and a key tourist town in Chengdu.

Huanglongxi is a good ancient town. My best friend said that it is a relatively conscientious one among the ancient towns. If you don't buy anything, it takes two hours to play. I especially like places with water, so it's still a long time to play. There is nothing worth buying in the ancient town. Many stores are closed in the off-season, which is good. There are few tourists and shops. It is clean and not noisy. You will find that there is no one in several ancient alleys. You can take pictures while walking and refuse tourists to take pictures. My husband and I also experienced ear cleaning. A skilled technician will make it more comfortable. She gave me a hot water bag and covered me with a blanket. It was not cold at all and I almost fell asleep. The price is 30 yuan/person for ear cleaning + ear washing. I have only done this one, so there is no comparison. I think the price is okay. Other scenic spots are 60, and Huanglongxi is 30. It is a company that trains and employs local residents to help them find jobs and increase their income, which is a win-win situation.

Where do people in Chengdu go on weekends or holidays? A friend in Chengdu suggested that I go to Huanglongxi Ancient Town when I have time. He said, "We usually like to take our children there for a stroll, especially in the summer. The children play in the shallow stream while the adults drink tea and chat in the teahouse on the shore. It's so relaxing."

The outer section of Huanglongxi is actually a newly built imitation ancient town, but it is crowded with people. The ginkgo trees in the ancient town have turned golden yellow. Walking to the small river of Huanglongxi, it is a popular place for children to play in the water in summer, and adults drink tea on the shore. It is not as lively as in the autumn and winter. Walking along, we arrived at the real old street. Unlike the newly built imitation ancient street just passed, this one is narrower, the shops are smaller, and it has a more old-fashioned feel.

The bluestone pavement of the old street has been through many vicissitudes and is no longer so smooth. The small restaurant has special bacon and sausages, and various ingredients and vegetables are also laid out. But it is not meal time now, so there are no customers. The owner is watching the neighbors next door playing mahjong. Mahjong is also a representative of slow Chengdu.

The old street is much more lively than the crowded commercial street. In addition to tourists, the locals are the main residents here. As the sky gets darker, many businesses start to close. The doors made of wooden boards pieced together really have the flavor of the old times. This kind of life atmosphere is the source of the ancient town's vitality.

We came out of the old street, crossed the river and returned to the new street. It was dusk and night was about to fall. There were fewer people on the street. In the afternoon, it was crowded here and it was difficult to take a photo. As the crowds dispersed, the ancient town gradually became quiet. In fact, this is the side of the ancient town that it should be.

It is a very worthwhile ancient town (antique style). No tickets are required. It takes 1 hour to get to the ancient town from Xinnanmen Station, and 1.7 hours (traffic jam) to get back from the ancient town to Xinnanmen. It is recommended to queue up at the station at 4 pm, otherwise you will have to queue for a long time. You can also choose to stay in the ancient town for one night.

When I went there, the equipment was under maintenance and there was no water in the pool. There are many snacks in the ancient town.

There is a Huanglongxi Covered Bridge by the river. Remember to go around and take a look on your way back.

Huanglongxi was even more relaxing in the afternoon. The whole scenic area is a shopping area with a strong commercial atmosphere. Different from the ancient towns we usually see, the main road here is divided into two sides by a stream. There are all kinds of snacks, restaurants, costume photo shooting, ear picks, etc. in the classical building shops. I just drank a cup of milk tea here, did not buy anything, took some photos of the buildings, and a relaxing and pleasant day passed just like that!

Huanglongxi Ancient Town is located in Shuangliu, Chengdu. It was dusk when I arrived there. Walking through it, I felt the simplicity and beauty. It is said that the ancient town has a history of more than 1,700 years, and most of the current streets are relics of the Qing Dynasty. The first impression it gave me was simplicity. The deep streets, the houses on both sides are quaint, the weeping willows are swaying, the mirror-like water surface, the reflections are picturesque, and the girls' smiles are like spring breeze passing by. Especially when night falls, the light and shadows are dancing, and the fantasy in the simplicity makes you intoxicated. That night, I found an inn on the street and ate the local famous yellow lard hot pot fish, which was very delicious. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and food, and enjoy life.

Huanglongxi has a history of more than 2,000 years. It was an important town during the Shu Han Dynasty, but it was burned down by a fire and was rebuilt in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The architectural style of the Shu Han Dynasty is almost gone, and the ancient buildings that remain now are mostly products of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Entering the town, a Sichuan flavor hits you in the face. The exterior designs of the buildings, halls, pavilions, and pavilions mostly adopt double or three-eaved pointed roofs, hip roofs, flying eaves, corner decorations, and window lattices, which are all typical Sichuan architectural styles, elegant and magnificent, but also revealing a strong flavor of the market, and integrated with the waterscape of Huanglongxi Ancient Town.

Huanglongxi, as an ancient town, has been the local political and commercial center since the Shu Han period. I think commercialization should not be blamed. Usually, the buildings on both sides of the town are mostly merchants and restaurants. Now, according to the layout of the seven neighborhoods in the late Qing Dynasty, it is rebuilt in the architectural style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and restored to its commercial use. I think there is nothing wrong. Now you can eat all kinds of Sichuan snacks in Huanglongxi Street, such as hot pot, spicy hot pot, kimchi, etc. It is very pleasant. After dinner, find a teahouse, make a pot of tea, and chat with Sichuan brothers about local customs and customs, learn knowledge, and have fun.

Chengdu is hot in the summer, but water brings coolness, and a calm mind brings a refreshing feeling. The quaint pavilions stand by the water, and willows are accompanied by colorful arch bridges, with their reflections on the mirror-like water surface. Sometimes the fish jumps and breaks the calm, causing ripples. The water town is full of poetic and picturesque feelings. The fountain here is installed on the wall, and the silver-like water column sprinkles across the upper and lower spaces of the pool, like raindrops blending into the air, giving a refreshing and pleasant feeling.

Chengdu people like to play in the water here in the hot summer. The water here is fresh, the water is flat, and the depth is appropriate. Huanglongxi has a special season for playing in the water. People jump into the water and have a hearty water battle. The laughter and happiness drive away the summer heat and bring freshness. After playing, you can drink cool beer on the shore, taste Sichuan snacks, folk customs, and enjoy a comfortable, comfortable, and exciting experience. It is really a super cool summer resort.

Huanglongxi Ancient Town can be reached by taking Metro Line 5 from Chengdu to Huilong Subway Station. There is an express bus directly from the subway station, which is very convenient. Huanglongxi Ancient Town is still very interesting, mainly because of the water stream, which makes this ancient town unique. It exceeded our expectations and it was good to see the scenery and play.

There is a place for free explanations in the ancient town. Everyone should consider it carefully. It is said that the historical reasons are explained to everyone for free, and in the end it will all come back to buying blessings, making tributes, etc. It depends on your heart. It sounds good, but it feels forced everywhere, which makes people uncomfortable.

By There is a way |

It was really a pure tour group. The tour guide, Miss Liu, talked a lot about the history of Sichuan and introduced a lot of food. The people were very nice and had a good time. I hope every tourist can have a good time here and the driver and tour guide can work more smoothly.

One of the most unmissable ancient towns in Chengdu is Huanglongxi Ancient Town, which has been successively rated as "Hometown of Chinese Folk Art Fire Dragon", "China's Beautiful Town", "China's Folk Cultural Heritage Tourism Demonstration Zone", "China's Historical and Cultural Town", and "AAAA National Tourist Attraction". Huanglongxi is adjacent to Fuhe River (Jinjiang River) in the east and Muma Mountain in the north. It is the key waterway from Chengdu to Leshan, and it is also the southernmost river defense stronghold and garrison in Chengdu's history. Let me give you a solemn review:

1. There are two ways to get to the ancient town. One is by bus: take bus 808 at Shuangliu Passenger Transport Center or bus 541 at Huayang Passenger Transport Station to Huanglongxi Passenger Transport Station, or take bus 546 to Huanglongxi Corridor Bridge. The bus costs 2 yuan, but it is slow and takes about 2.5 hours. The other is by shuttle bus: Xinnanmen, Chaidianzi and East Station Passenger Transport Station all have shuttle buses to Huanglongxi, which cost 15 yuan and take about 1 hour. Various travel agencies also have cars to Huanglongxi.

2. The ancient town is completely free and open to the public. It consists of three parts: the Folk Culture Street, the Water Dragon Street, and the core area of the ancient town. The three parts include one lake (Longtan Lake), two rivers (Jinjiang River and Luxi River), six temples (Gulong Temple, Chaoyin Temple, Zhenjiang Temple on the main street and Jinhua Temple, Guanyin Temple, and Dafo Temple in the outer scenic area), seven streets (Zhenlong Street, Fuxing Street, Huanglong New Street, Huanglong Main Street, Fangqing Street, Shangxiahe Street), and nine lanes (Yuqiu Lane, Danshui Lane, Yanshi Lane, Bantan Lane, Longzhua Lane, Gaogan Lane, Suoyi Lane, Tangong Lane, Dageng Lane), all of which are good places to check in;

3. The snacks you can’t miss include sesame cake, stone-ground bean curd, one-root noodles, yellow croaker, steamed pork with rice flour, roasted pork elbow, cold cake, sugar-coated fruit and other Sichuan specialties;

4. Huanglongxi has a strong folk customs. From the second to the fifteenth day of the first lunar month every year, the "Fire Dragon Burning" activity is held. From March 24th to April 15th is the Colorful Spring Oil-Paper Umbrella Festival. Flower exhibitions are also held from time to time. Don't miss it, friends.

Huanglongxi Ancient Town is a popular ancient town in the suburbs of Chengdu. It takes an hour to get to Huanglongxi Bus Station from the bus station, and you can walk through the ancient town. Huanglongxi Ancient Town has a history of more than 1,700 years. In ancient times, it was a transportation fortress jointly managed by three counties. It is also named the hometown of Chinese folk art (fire dragon) by the Ministry of Culture and a national-level small town with beautiful environment. The ancient archways, ancient temples, ancient buildings and houses in the town are integrated with the ancient banyan trees. The streets paved with bluestone slabs are full of ancient charm. Huanglongxi is located in Shuangliu District, bordering Renshou, Pengshan and Xinjin. It is one of the first ancient towns developed around Chengdu. The temples and delicacies in the town are worth seeing.

Huanglongxi is an ancient town that I have visited once a year in recent years. I heard that it cost 200 million yuan to rebuild it, but I was not very interested at the time. I thought it would be completely unrecognizable. I still prefer more quaint ancient towns. But I came here once two years ago and found that many old houses are still preserved near Pengshan. So every time I come here, I enter from the Pengshan entrance.

There are several benefits

First, parking is convenient and close to the ancient town. You don't have to crowd at the main entrance, the parking lot is often full and you have to go to a private parking lot far away.

Second, there are more old houses near Pengshan, unlike the main gate where almost all houses are newly built or there are many shops. It is quieter here, which is what I like.

Third, Pengshan is right by the river when you enter the town. There are a lot of places to eat. You don't have to walk a step further to eat river food. The food is delicious. Especially the first one. I have eaten there twice. The boss is friendly and the environment is the best. The black stick is also delicious. I will write about them in the next article.

The Huanglongxi Ancient Town in Chengdu, recommended by a friend, is quite suitable for visiting with children. It is about 4 hours' drive from the main city of Chongqing. There are still many tourists on weekends. I booked a standard room at Yumantang Inn for RMB 144 per night. If you don't want to take pictures of the crowds, I suggest you walk into the alleys near the Gulong Temple, where there are fewer tourists. You can also walk all the way to the river to rest and drink tea.

The Huanglongxi Ancient Town is mainly composed of antique buildings built by thermal engineers. They basically sell food and handicrafts, and the characteristics are not very obvious.

I went there on New Year's Eve, it was a sunny day and there were not many people, so it was OK. But if you go there a few days after the first day of the new year, it will be really crowded.

By Alex |

Huanglongxi is different from other ancient towns. It is a peaceful place away from the hustle and bustle.

But one thing is the same as other commercial ancient towns, there are also lively stalls in the ancient town, various kinds of delicious snacks, ethnic costumes and other shops.

By 塵 |

It is relatively cheap, the park is very large, you can easily spend a day without repeating yourself, there are many delicious foods, and you can also buy a lot of specialties to take back. There are many beautiful views

By Helena |

It's OK. I knew it was a commercial ancient town, so I didn't have high expectations. In fact, it was quite comfortable to walk around in some places. Although it was similar to other ancient towns and the food was just so-so, it was more comfortable to walk around here than Zhujiajiao in Shanghai.

By And wood |

Although it is heavily commercialized, it still retains its own characteristics compared to other ancient towns.

I have visited too many ancient towns, so I feel nothing here. What attracts me most are the couplets in the ancient towns.

The ancient town is mainly centered around the ancient street, with shops with local characteristics opened on both sides relying on the restored ancient buildings.

By The little girl is fat |

Time: November 2018. Similar to most ancient towns, the retro architectural style and shops selling snacks or various things. There are crowded and lively areas, and there are also quiet areas with fewer tourists. It's okay to walk around. The cat fish is delicious, and the one-piece noodle is the specialty.

By old man |

There are many parking lots in the ancient town, and the parking is in an orderly manner, which is much better than the Laba River Scenic Area. The ancient town is not big. Usually, two hours is enough to walk from the head to the tail of the dragon, eat, drink and stroll around. However, during the National Day, there were too many people, and it took us nearly four hours to finish the tour.

There are different animal shapes along the way, which function as small bridges and are small and cute.

On this short street, there are three temples: Gulon Temple, Zhenjiang Temple and Chaoyin Temple. It is not common to have three temples on one street.

There are many kinds of snacks in the ancient town, and the restaurants and stalls are always crowded with tourists.

By Old little one 🤗 |

Here I tasted "Yigen Noodles", watched the "face-changing" performance, and took a set of photos of ancient costumes for the drama. I originally chose to take the photos in Kuanzhai Alley, but there were too many people taking photos, and there was only one set of costumes, and no album! But I saw that the newly opened store had new costumes, so I could take more photos of the costumes and get a free album, so I decided to take the photos here.

The ancient town is located in the southwest of Shuangliu District, Chengdu, about 40 kilometers away from the city center, and can be reached in just one hour by car. Whether it is locals or tourists, it is a nearby choice for sightseeing. It is very lively here in summer, but very deserted in winter. When we came, it was a weekend in July, and the main road was crowded. Like other commercial ancient towns, there are lively shops on both sides of the road, and shops selling gourmet specialties, ethnic costumes, etc. are lined up in order. The ancient town is very large, and there are alleys that can be turned into after a few steps, and the alleys are also different. Compared with the hustle and bustle on the main road, this is actually another world. The red walls of people's courtyards reflect the shadows of trees under the sunlight, and large tracts of green bamboo sway in the wind, making rustling sounds. There are almost no people in the wooden corridors and pavilions, and everything is safe and peaceful. The ancient town is famous for its antiquity. After many years of changes, the ancient streets and ancient squares remain unchanged. The red walls around the corridor are very mottled, and mosses have covered the walls and tile tips over the years. The surrounding bamboos are not very neat, leaning crookedly to one side, and everything is old and tasteful. There are characteristic stilted buildings by the river, and the boatmen are neatly docked by the river. There are lush green plants on the opposite bank. Standing here is still a lively crowd. Unlike other lively ancient towns, the night in Huanglongxi is gradually quiet. The bluestone road is wet from the people playing in the water during the day, and the shiny road reflects the warm yellow light, adding a magnificence to the night.

Huanglongxi has a history of more than 1,700 years, and the streets and alleys from the Ming and Qing Dynasties are still preserved. The ancient town is very large. When you come here, in addition to playing on the main road, you may as well escape the crowd and turn into the alleys to explore and find your own Huanglongxi journey.

By Sunflower |

When I first arrived here, I actually liked it. There weren't too many people, and it had the atmosphere of an ancient town. The main street was too crowded, and it was crowded.

There are small bridges, flowing water, and houses here. It is really beautiful.

After taking the bus for more than three hours to get to Huanglongxi, I didn’t have much interest in sightseeing, but at that time I felt that the three-hour bus ride was worth it.

Although my feet are sore from walking here, I am still attracted by the beautiful scenery and keep walking forward...

Walk along the river and into the alleys with few people. There are no dazzling commodities and no noisy crowds, but it is indeed a different scene.

Every ancient town has a main street that is the most lively and representative of its charm. The main street of Huanglongxi is Zhenlong Street. As the most lively street in Huanglongxi, Zhenlong Street has been selected as one of the top 200 most beautiful streets in Sichuan. It connects Longtan Square and Longtan Lake. A stream flows through the center of the street. There are water wheels, stone mills, and weeping willows in the stream, showing people a picture of a very charming water town in western Sichuan. Water brings aura. In summer, Zhenlong Street will become a good place for everyone to play with water. If you bring your children here, there will be many stalls selling water guns on the street. You can buy one and let them have fun here. Of course, no matter which season you come to Huanglongxi to play, you can't miss visiting the various quaint shops on both sides of the street. If you want to talk about the most representative landscape with the charm of western Sichuan in Huanglongxi Ancient Town, you have to mention the Huanglong Ancient Bridge. Standing on the bridge, you can have a panoramic view of a large part of the scenery of the ancient town. On the other side of the bridge is the Dishui Mantan. Doesn't this name sound poetic? But what makes it most popular is not its scenery itself, but the unparalleled water experience it can give us. Dishui Mantan is a famous tourist experience area, and it is a good place to cool off in summer. You may as well take off your shoes, play with water guns, have water fights, and enjoy the joy of returning to nature. If you first arrive in Huanglongxi, the deepest feeling may be that there are too many people, especially on weekends and holidays. The main street after the West Gate is full of tourists. Most of the shops on both sides sell goods that can be seen in many ancient towns. Don't be deceived by this noisy appearance. You must continue to walk deep into the ancient town. The small streets inside are its true appearance. If you want to play in Huanglongxi Ancient Town, you must choose a good time. It is best to avoid weekends or come early in the morning. If time permits, it is best to stay overnight. In the evening or early morning, when the shops are not open, Huanglongxi is the most beautiful!

Huanglongxi Ancient Town, located in Shuangliu District, Chengdu, is a typical ancient town of waterside dwellings in western Sichuan. The whole town is traversed by streams, which is quite charming. We came to Chengdu to attend a relative's wedding and came here for a day.

The Longtan Square at the main entrance of the ancient town is the dragon head, and the stream running through the town is the dragon body. The dragon tail can be seen at the end of the town near the river. The town is a prosperous business town, with specialty goods and snacks everywhere, and many water guns and small basins. Yes, you read that right. When summer comes, this place becomes a famous water fight resort, and the whole nation is having a carnival of water fights, the "Water Splashing Festival". Adults and children are all crazy in the stream of the town. Whether it is the charge in the water or the watchers on both sides of the river, they will basically get wet and no one is spared! Watching from the side, you will be attracted and bewitched involuntarily, and you really want to go into the water and go crazy.

There was a thunderstorm in the evening, soaking the group of people fighting in the water and making them run away [dizzy]. We stood in the corridor and laughed wildly. Why were these people running? Did they forget that they were all wet? 😂😂😂

There are many special snacks in the ancient town, such as one-string noodles, grilled skewers, ice jelly, etc., which are too numerous to mention. You can eat them from the beginning to the end of the town.

Accommodation is up to you. We stayed at the Three Kingdoms Gourmet Inn this time. It is located in the center of the town and the conditions are pretty good. There is a parking lot behind the inn, which is convenient for self-driving. The front of the inn is the stage and food court, and the main door is the lively street of the ancient town. The back is the courtyard of the inn, which is very quiet. It has been raining recently, so you should book a room on the second floor, which is less humid. The room is very large, with a living room at the entrance, and then a bedroom and bathroom.

It is suitable for both quiet and dynamic activities, with beautiful scenery, and you can eat all kinds of Sichuan snacks here.

It is more than 30 kilometers away from the center of Chengdu. Let me share my experience: 1 Transportation: There were three of us going together, so we booked a Didi ride. Because we booked it in advance, the time was clear and the fare was less than 60; it took more than an hour on the road; after arriving at the ancient town, we stopped at the archway at the entrance of the village. There was a bus stop nearby, so at least you need to change to the bus, and Didi is much faster; 2 Tickets: You don't need to buy tickets to the ancient town; 3 Weather: If you come to the ancient town in July or August like me, it is very necessary to prepare slippers, swimming trunks and the like, because playing in the water is the norm, it is cool and you feel very integrated; as shown in the pictures, it feels like a cool summer; 4 The ancient town is actually not small, there are many alleys and many shops, and the commercial atmosphere is relatively heavy. It needs popularity but does not destroy the original tranquility, and it is difficult to balance; 5 Eating snacks and visiting small shops can still meet these basic tourist needs!

By Water Drops |

It may be an ancient town, but it feels very copied and commercialized. I was very disappointed. The water in the river was very dirty and there were many people and it was very noisy. This is my true feeling. Fortunately, the car I took was very comfortable.

By The flowers are so red |

The ancient town is not very big. It takes less than an hour to walk around. It is not much different from other ancient towns. There is a charity performance, which is free and not bad. Before, the history of Huanglongxi Ancient Town was also shown. It is 2100 years old and it is also an old ancient town. It is more suitable for parent-child travel. You can bring your children to play water fights for a whole day.

We had lunch here. The place is mainly snacks. One of the famous noodles here is said to be a celebrity. The sweet noodles are worth a try. They are made with chili and brown sugar. It sounds weird, but it tastes good.

There are many people playing with water here, and there are fountains. It's good for those who like playing with water. The rest are selling food, really all selling food. We walked around for a while and were too lazy, so we found a teahouse and started playing egg-throwing

Huanglongxi Ancient Town is one of my favorite ancient towns. I fell in love with it the first time I went there. My immediate feeling was: it is ancient and rich in connotation. It is an ancient town with stories and cultural connotations!

By monkey |

Since Huanglongxi Ancient Town is in the suburbs and our flight was in the evening, we rented a car for a day trip, which was very convenient for transportation. If you are traveling with children or three or four people, it is also recommended to rent a car, which is convenient and fast.

As one of the top ten ancient water towns, Huanglongxi Ancient Town is indeed very distinctive, with quaint buildings on both sides and many special snacks.

By Dancing |

Huanglongxi is larger in scale, the buildings are more magnificent, and there are many more people (perhaps it was too late when we went to Luodai, and the tourists had left)

There is a scene at every step, which is very enjoyable. If it is summer, it is really pleasant for children to play water fights in the stream. As expected of Huanglongxi, the stream is everywhere. Various small bridges successfully attracted the attention of children. The pomegranate juice here is a specialty, freshly squeezed, and tastes great.

Huanglongxi Town has an area of 50.4 square kilometers and a population of 30,000 (2013).

Huanglongxi Town is a tourist town with tourism as its leader and agriculture as its foundation. It is also a national key town.

It was summer when we went outside, it was very hot and there were a lot of people, so we were looking for a cool place the whole time. But those who like to play in the water can go,

By Ordinary brilliance |

We set out from Jiuzhaigou to Huanglong at 6:15 in the morning. The altitude is over 3,500 meters, and I was worried about altitude sickness. Although it was still the dry season, the beautiful scenery was enough for a Northwest woman like me to immerse myself in it. The drizzle along the way was also interesting.

By The world is so big |

This is an ancient town with water as its theme. It is nice to go there to play in the water in summer.

Huanglongxi is one of the ancient water towns, and the town is full of ancient charm.

There are many restaurants in Huanglongxi Ancient Town. Yigen noodles, fermented black beans and sesame cakes are the most recommended delicacies. You can also taste farm meals.

One of the check-in spots in the ancient town. I think it’s enough to go to one of the ancient towns. It’s almost the same, at least visually, with ancient stone brick walls, small shops and tourists.

After checking out, I went to Huanglongxi Ancient Town in the morning, an ancient town dominated by wooden buildings, and there was a charming young man selling noodles.

By The Man in the Box |

I went there during the 51 holiday. I rode a shared bicycle from downtown Chengdu, starting from Tongzilin, which was about 40 km away.

The feeling when I got there was that there were so many cars and people, probably because of 51. The places to eat seemed to be concentrated on the street at the entrance of the ancient town. Since bicycles cannot be brought into the ancient town, I didn’t have a good walk around the ancient town. I plan to come back to check in next time.

Huanglongxi, a thousand-year-old ancient town, is not quite the same as the ancient town I imagined. The strong commercial atmosphere makes people feel like they are in a temple fair pedestrian street. Maybe I visited it in the wrong way. I shouldn't have come during the May Day holiday. The overcrowding made it impossible to pay attention to the buildings and ancient charm on both sides. The only thing that impressed me was the various scenes of water fights, and I would get wet by the enthusiastic children if I wasn't careful.

By Ren Jianxin |

It's very average!!! Nothing special, I finished it in one or two hours, it's all commercial! The food is ok, not expensive, but the parking is disgusting, 20 yuan, 10 yuan is enough!! 20 parked for a while and left!!

From Chengdu Chadianzi Bus Station to the scenic spot, 15 yuan to Huanglongxi Visitor Center, got off the bus and there was a sign saying: Go to the ancient town bus stop, got on the bus and waited for a while before it drove away, and arrived at a place in a few minutes. There was no sign to get off the bus, only a sign saying the entrance to the scenic spot. I walked through the parking lot and found that I had entered the scenic spot to Longtan Square. It felt a bit hazy. In fact, you don’t need to take the bus after getting off the bus. It’s less than 10 minutes to walk forward to the gate of the scenic spot. I really don’t know what the scenic area managers think? Just to earn 1 yuan from outsiders? The main street of the scenic spot is run through by a stream, and it is over-commercialized. There are food stalls everywhere. There were many people and students when I went there yesterday. I found out that the school organized a spring outing for students. The overall feeling was very chaotic. It was much quieter at night, but the lights at night were average. I like the fresh and quiet morning of the ancient town. The Internet celebrity Yigen Noodles in the ancient town is very popular, and the stone-ground tofu pudding is also delicious!

Huanglongxi Ancient Town has the typical characteristics of an ancient town in the Chengdu Plain.

Huanglong Street is in perfect harmony with the ancient town. There are small bridges, flowing water, ancient archways, and shops of various formats along the street.

Its most unique charm is the water diversion into the street. In the middle of a 20-meter-wide street, there is a clear stream. The gurgling stream makes the quaint Huanglong Street lively and full of vitality.

Huanglongxi Ancient Town is basically built along the river, like most of the ancient towns in Sichuan. It has a feeling of small bridges, flowing water and people's homes. The houses in the ancient town are quite distinctive.

There are lush trees and verdant flowers and grass beside the stream, giving people a feeling that the air is moist and fresh. From time to time, bursts of flower and leaf fragrance waft over, refreshing the heart, and the eyes are full of pleasing green.

It also shows that this place is not only popular, but also full of green vitality.

There are small bridges of various shapes, waterfalls, water mills, pavilions and other landscapes on the stream. The shallow and clear stream flows slowly, adding a lot of spiritual energy to this street.

The flow of water drives the waterwheel, generating power to turn the mill.

I went to Huanglongxi twice and was very happy both times. The characteristics of the ancient town, delicious fish!

By Frigid Bread |

Among the ancient towns, Huanglongxi has a better environment and is also relatively large. I am most satisfied with the black sesame cake here, which is crispy, fragrant and soft. It reminds me of the taste that my sister brought back from Renshou when I was a child.

A national 4A-level tourist attraction, free of charge!!! It takes about 2 hours to get there from Chengdu by bus. It's not very convenient, you need to arrange a day to go back and forth. There are many snacks in the scenic spot. I like sweets, so I'll send you a picture for reference. If you like bean paste, you can buy it there, and they will mail it to you. There are many more. The scenic spot is pretty good. Give it 4 stars

The unit organized a group for recuperation, and there were only 20 of us teachers~

Although we are traveling with a tour group, we are all family members, so we still feel very comfortable.

The last day’s itinerary was to visit Huanglongxi Ancient Town. I had no idea where it was before and had never made any travel plans, so coming here on the weekend was a real pitfall.

There are people having water fights everywhere, and you’ll get wet for no reason even when crossing a bridge!

There are noodles everywhere, and all the men and women who make noodles are very high and sissy. It’s hard to tell the real internet celebrities from the fake ones.

I just wandered around and didn't find anything special. But the locals were really happy.

This ancient town is definitely worth a visit. It has a beautiful environment, not too many people, and convenient transportation (if there is no traffic jam). You must take a boat and leave the main street and go into the alley to walk and sit.

By Small tank |

The ancient town is beautiful and can be visited all year round. Summer is the most relaxing time to escape the heat.

By Little Jiangyang |

It's very big and clean inside. There are a lot of people, and you can try all kinds of snacks. Parking is very convenient. I like this place very much.

Huanglongxi is probably most famous for its scenery in the past two years, but the noodle making skills of the noodle maker.

Huanglongxi Ancient Town is a classic work that combines man-made and ancient town relics. The stone road and the stream are lined with antique buildings. It is worthy of being the first ancient town in the southwest and is worth a visit, not inferior to the ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River. It represents the food culture of western Sichuan. Walking in the alleys of the ancient town reminds people of their childhood. There are only old houses, and it is really narrow to walk inside. In the old alleys, you can eat all kinds of original handmade snacks.

It is an ancient town worth visiting. It is not far from Chengdu and has a history of more than 1,700 years. We went there in July. Many citizens brought their children to enjoy the cool air. We stayed at the innermost place, a little distance from the main street. It was very quiet. It rained for a while in the afternoon of the first day, which made it more quaint and quiet. The second day was a sunny day. After lunch, I sat on the waterside promenade, blowing the breeze and daydreaming. I felt like life was coming. I recommend trying a noodle and rice cake. There are also people taking photos in ancient costumes in the ancient town. It is very cheap. If you have time, you can come in a group. It is quite interesting.

Huanglongxi Scenic Area is located in Shuangliu District, Chengdu. The renovated Huanglongxi Ancient Town has been successively rated as "Hometown of Chinese Folk Art Fire Dragon", "China's Beautiful Town", "China's Folk Cultural Heritage Tourism Demonstration Zone", "China's Historical and Cultural Town", and "National AAAA-level Tourist Attraction". Huanglongxi Town is one of the top ten ancient water towns with a history of more than 1,700 years. It is located in the southern part of the Chengdu Plain and has always been an important military town.

The scenery and ancient town are very ordinary, just take it as a casual stroll. There is almost no place to eat after 7 o'clock in the evening in the off-season.

By TIMM GAO |

A very distinctive Bashu water town, with a stream running through the entire 1,700-year-old town. Commercialization is serious, so it is not easy for photography enthusiasts to take pictures. The management is relatively standardized and clean. There are many places to eat and play, and the prices are moderate. It takes 1 hour from Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station to Huanglongxi without traffic jams. The outbound fare is 16 and the return fare is 15. The tour time is about 2-4 hours.

Walk slowly along Huanglongxi. You can continue walking further in past the two water wheels. There are water and small islands, so you can take some photos!

By Drunk and intoxicated |

A relatively comprehensive ancient town with relatively complete scenic facilities. It is also an ancient town close to Chengdu city. You can reach it by going south along Jiannan Avenue. Huanglongxi Ancient Town has many waterscapes and is loved by the elderly and children. Every summer, there is an endless stream of children playing in the water with their families. The elderly also like Huanglongxi and go there to escape the summer heat. Huanglongxi used to be an important water wharf and played a pivotal role in water transportation. With the changes of the times, it is now a famous ancient town attraction in Chengdu for tourists to appreciate the customs of old Chengdu.

By Herbal 2 |

The declining Huanglongxi Ancient Town has become famous since 2010, but it has not seen any signs of prosperity. In terms of the environment, the environment of the ancient town is actually good, but the management and planning are really poor. There are many amusement park facilities and haunted houses in the ancient town, and there is no charm of the ancient town at all~ There are many specialty stores in the ancient town. If you visit here, you can bring some specialty back. If you come here because of the name of the ancient town, it is recommended to visit other Jiangnan ancient towns~

By Flower Interpretation |

The overall feeling is average. The ancient town is not big and not as old as imagined. It is not recommended to take a detour. You can go there if you are on the way.

By autumn |

A must-go place every Spring Festival, not because of the beautiful scenery, but because of the feeling

By Bright Autumn Moon |

There is a saying that Huanglongxi is one of the "Top Ten Ancient Water Towns in China". I don't know where it came from, but it is quiet and deserted, with only birds, insects and fish swimming around. This scene is exactly what I like.
