We should have entered through a side door. There were people selling snacks and balloons at the door. Youyou picked a little dinosaur and happily pulled the balloon, running in the almost empty park. In her eyes, this place must be much more interesting than the crowded Du Fu Thatched Cottage. We only played a small part of this park. There were mountains, water, fountains, ancient poems and even a set of small slides. We saw many locals bringing their children to play, and some even had picnics on mats. It felt great. Youyou's father kept saying that this place was much better than Du Fu Thatched Cottage, but I think when you come to a strange city, you will always want to check in at popular attractions, even if it's just a quick glance and a few tourist photos. Well, I'm just a layman.

The big tripod is very shocking, and this is also the starting point of the Poetry Avenue in the central axis of the park.

There are two small ditches on both sides of the central axis road of the park, which is also great for playing in the water in summer.

The end of the Poetry Avenue is the sculpture of Du Fu, Li Bai and Qu Yuan

To be honest, I was a little surprised to see the sculptures of the Three Caos in the ancient capital of Shu.

Huanhuaxi Park, a natural oxygen bar, is a great place for Chengdu people to escape the summer heat and keep fit.

I thought it was just an ordinary park, but I found it was a different world when I walked in. Many cities have similar parks, but this park is very poetic. You can feel the strong poetic feeling from the name. When you walk into the park, the first thing that catches your eye is the stone carvings lined up along the road, each of which is engraved with different poems.

Maybe it is because it is close to Du Fu Thatched Cottage, the whole park has a strong literary atmosphere. Since it is close to Du Fu Thatched Cottage and Sichuan Museum, it is a good choice to visit here on the way. Feel the other scenery of Chengdu, this park city.

The entire park is well-landscaped, with shady trees and stone tablets and carvings dotted everywhere. It is a place for many Chengdu locals to relax.

On the other side of the park, there is a huge lake called "Green Wave Lake", which is the largest artificial lake in Chengdu. The lake is very calm and the water is clear. There are many people sitting and relaxing along the lake.

Green plants can be seen everywhere in the park, and you can feel the fresh air from the moment you enter the park. Huanhuaxi Park is close to Du Fu Thatched Cottage, so you can feel the strong historical and cultural atmosphere here. On both sides of the park road, you can see statues of many famous poets standing tall, which is very impressive! In late autumn, the leaves in Huanhuaxi Park have gradually turned yellow, adding a lot of color to the park.

Huanhuaxi Park is adjacent to Du Fu Thatched Cottage and Sichuan Museum. It is the largest open urban forest park in Chengdu. Although it is November, the ginkgo trees are not yet completely yellow, and there are many evergreen trees in Huanhuaxi. It is still lush and green in this season. Maybe the weather is good, there are still many people in the park. There is a Wanshu Mountain, a Canglang Lake, a wetland (Bailu Lake), two landscape buildings, and four large leisure squares in the park. With the historical and cultural connotation of Du Fu Thatched Cottage as the background, the natural and elegant landscape and architecture highlight the rich historical heritage of western Sichuan culture. It is an urban park that combines natural landscape, urban landscape, classical gardens and modern architectural art. It is also the only five-star park in Chengdu. Most of the avenues here are like this. If you have time, you can visit more.

Huanhuaxi Park is the largest and most invested open urban forest park in Chengdu so far. It organically combines natural landscape and urban landscape, classical gardens and modern architectural art, and blends mountains and waters. It is the only five-star park in Chengdu.

It connects the Provincial Museum and Du Fu Thatched Cottage. With the historical and cultural connotation of Du Fu Thatched Cottage as the background, the century-old osmanthus, camphor, and horse chestnut trees are flourishing and the environment is quiet.

Huanhuaxi is located in the southwest of Chengdu. It consists of Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Spring at Thatched Cottage, Huanhuaxi Park and Baihuatan Park. It has beautiful scenery and many cultural attractions.

The cultural atmosphere is very strong, with all kinds of poems and lyrics, shaded trees, chirping insects and birds, which is very suitable for leisure on weekdays.

The night in East District 7 is far from coming. Across the road is Huanhua Creek Ecological Park, so we went there for a walk to digest our food. Huanhua Creek is very large, and we only visited a part of it. The scenery is OK, and the lake is the highlight, adding a bit of openness. There are many egrets and unknown water birds living in the lake, sometimes walking gracefully, sometimes playing in the water, and sometimes spreading their wings to glide to the trees on the side. Several times they almost flew past us, causing bursts of exclamations. We were also lucky enough to see egrets fishing. If you have time after visiting Du Fu Thatched Cottage, you can visit here as well. It seems that it is not so attractive to come here on purpose.

Huanhuaxi Park is located to the south of Du Fu Thatched Cottage. After visiting Du Fu Thatched Cottage, you can visit Huanhuaxi Park. It is free to visit. It is very large and has many steles with inscriptions. It is a very historical and cultural place.

It's so comfortable to take a walk. Instead of spending money to go to Du Fu Thatched Cottage, it's better to just walk here.

Many literati and poets of all ages have used the scenery of Huanhua Creek to express their emotions, leaving behind poems that have been passed down through the ages. Nowadays, it has been built into a park for tourists to have fun in their spare time.

"Two orioles sing in the green willows, a line of egrets fly in the blue sky. The window contains the eternal snow on the Western Hills, and the door is moored with ships from Dongwu that have traveled thousands of miles." Du Fu's "Quatrain" describes the Huanhua Creek of that year, and "Song of the Thatched Cottage Destroyed by the Autumn Wind" was also written here.

It is not easy to have such a vivid green in the city. The ecological environment of Huanhua Creek is well protected. There are a large number of migratory birds such as egrets, gray herons and herons living on the branches of the forest all year round. Photography enthusiasts often come with their cameras and can often capture the wonderful moments of these beautiful birds diving from the sky to the lake to catch fish.

Huanhuaxi Park is different from other parks. It is right next to Du Fu Thatched Cottage and can be considered a tourist attraction. There is a Du Fu's Thousand Poems Monument, and then there are poems. It is worth taking a look at the cultural relics.

Huanhuaxi Park is located between the First Ring Road and the Second Ring Road in the southwest of Chengdu. It is connected to Du Fu Thatched Cottage in the north and Sichuan Provincial Museum in the east. It covers an area of 32.32 hectares and has a total construction investment of 120 million yuan. It is the largest and most invested open urban forest park in Chengdu so far. It has been rated as the only five-star park in Chengdu. Huanhuaxi Park takes the historical and cultural connotation of Du Fu Thatched Cottage as the background, uses the cutting-edge theories of modern garden and architectural design, and highlights the rich historical heritage of western Sichuan culture with natural and elegant landscapes and buildings. It's so big! ! 😂 I didn't take the electric car and my waist was almost broken... The scenery is good, there are many people on the Poetry Avenue, and I went to Du Fu Thatched Cottage to visit

    By wins |

Next to it is Huanhuaxi Park, which is a free park next to Du Fu Thatched Cottage. Like Du Fu Thatched Cottage, the theme is all poetry. It seems to be a place where local elderly people in Chengdu like to go for a walk.

Huanhuaxi Park is a newly built open urban forest park. It is a historical and cultural scenic area, adjacent to Du Fu Thatched Cottage and Sichuan Provincial Museum. It has been rated as the only five-star park in Chengdu.

The park is divided into three major theme parks: Bailuzhou, Canglang Lake and Wanshu Mountain. The park landscape mainly includes: a man-made mountain with thousands of trees, an artificial lake - Canglang Lake, an urban wetland landscape (Bailu Lake), two landscape buildings, four large leisure squares, and eight theme attractions that reflect the characteristics of the park and the "Chinese Poetry Culture Center".

The garden has a rich historical and cultural heritage. The entire garden is based on the historical and cultural connotation of Du Fu's Thatched Cottage, and interprets Du Fu's poetic charm. The fonts on the wall highlight the shallowness of my font culture. I can't read a sentence smoothly and I can't recognize many words. Chinese characters are really profound.

The lush flowers and trees provide shade, the forest paths are breezy, and it is really comfortable to stroll along the river in this neither cold nor hot weather to come to the park. A few half-opened lotus flowers float on the water, and birds are resting on the artificial hill by the lake in the distance. Occasionally, a bird flutters its wings and flies to the branches.

There is also an observation deck in the park, with a small number of reed branches swaying in the wind and little ducks swimming freely in the water.

Huanhuaxi Park is indeed very large. I walked around it for a while before I realized that there was still half of it. I walked along the Historical and Cultural Road to the main entrance. The red cultural wall on one side and the vertical flowing water design in the center attracted many tourists to take pictures. The fine water splashing on my body was very cool.

There is a teahouse at the entrance where you can rest, drink tea and chat. It gathers many tourists who come to the park. It is undoubtedly a good place to relax on the weekend.

The renovated Huanhuaxi Park is more open and spacious. It is integrated with Du Fu Thatched Cottage and Chengdu Museum and is a good place for citizens to relax.

    By Suxian Jinlin |

The park is next to Du Fu Thatched Cottage, so I went there on the way. There is a poetry stele gallery, but there is nothing special about it. The scenery is average. There is no need to go if you don't have time.

    By Flowers Outdoor |

The park is very large and is said to be the largest park in Chengdu. It is right next to Du Fu Thatched Cottage. Compared with the 60 yuan ticket for Du Fu Thatched Cottage, it is worth it to not have a ticket here. This park has a large green area, where you can watch flowers and feed fish, and there are thatched houses. You can take a leisurely walk in it. I really envy the people of Chengdu!

    By Mosquito larvae |

    By Silu Travel |

It's a very worthwhile leisure place to visit, it's very nice to stop and walk!

    By Babo Benpipizi |

The park is free to enter and is crowded. As the largest park in Chengdu, the park is as beautiful and poetic as its name suggests. Perhaps because it is adjacent to the former residence of the poet, the first thing that catches your eye is a long poetry avenue, with statues of many famous poets standing tall on both sides, majestic and imposing. The avenue is engraved with popular poems, some bold and tragic, some graceful and tender. Wandering in it, you can cross time and space, look up to see literati and patriots; look down to read the masterpieces of the ages, which moisturize your soul like a trickle of water.

Canglang Lake is a large oval with a wide view. The lake is blue and the shore is surrounded by green trees, birds and flowers. It is especially suitable for taking children for a stroll. Maybe it is because it is Saturday, there are still many people by the lake. It feels that Chengdu people are particularly leisurely and comfortable. The biggest feeling that the whole Canglang Lake gave me is: the unity of man and nature.

Huanhua Creek is so beautiful... On cloudy days, the lights in the huts are more obvious, and their reflections in the lake make the scenery absolutely stunning.

This is a really great place for a family to hang out on the weekends. The road is lined with trees, the park is very cool, and there is also a poetry avenue where you can teach your children ancient poetry~

Coming out of the Sichuan Basin, I accompanied my parents to the nearby Huanhuaxi Park for a walk. Huanhuaxi Park is the core area of the Huanhuaxi Historical and Cultural Scenic Area. It covers an area of 32.32 hectares. It is the largest and most invested open urban park in Chengdu so far. It is rated as the only five-star park in Chengdu. We didn't walk through the park, and some areas of Huanhuaxi Park are undergoing maintenance and renovation, and many places are fenced off. We came to the south gate of Du Fu Thatched Cottage, facing the Poetry Avenue of Huanhuaxi Park. We walked along the Poetry Avenue, looking at the poems on the ground while walking, and reciting a section with my mother from time to time. It was very happy.

It is a great park, huge in scale, covering more than 30 hectares. It is the only five-star forest park in the city, and it is free.

    By Wind Shadows |

It is just behind Du Fu Thatched Cottage, with beautiful scenery, wetlands, lakeshores, woods and other landscapes. It is very large and has cultural landscapes such as the Poetry Avenue. It is free. Unlike other parks where people play mahjong everywhere, it is well managed.

Address: No. 9 Qinghua Road, Qingyang District

    Estimated play time: 1 hour

Transportation: Take bus No. 1075 to Huanhua Binhe Road Station

After coming out, I discussed with Miss Cece which park to go to next, because when we were on the bus before, the tour guide introduced that Huanhuaxi Park was very beautiful, and it happened to be next to Du Fu Thatched Cottage, so Miss Cece said let's go there, and I said okay. I originally wanted to go to People's Park, but I didn't know if I had time. So I just went directly to the nearby Huanhuaxi Park.

But, I have to say but!!! The day we went there, it was under maintenance. Basically, the whole park was blocked off. You can walk from the middle passage from the front door to the back door, but it's meaningless. You can hardly see any scenery, and everything is under construction. We walked in the passage for an hour, originally trying to find the entrance of the park, but we still couldn't find the way in even though our legs were broken. I guess the whole park was blocked off for maintenance. I was about to cry~ ~ ~.

What about the 5A-level scenic spot? ! ! ! Although we couldn’t take a good photo of the beautiful Huanhuaxi Park due to maintenance, at least the passage in the middle was left for us, so we can get a glimpse of it.

The first thing that comes into view when you walk in is the statues of ancient masters, and there are also many poems and famous works engraved on the ground. There are also some scenic spots in the park, but they are all under maintenance and cannot be visited. There is a place for drinking tea and eating snacks at the open-air fountain in the big square. I was in a hurry when I went there, so I walked around a little and then left. But I ate Xinjiang lamb skewers and Langya potatoes at the entrance of the park, and packed a bag. Huanhua Creek is connected to Du Fu Thatched Cottage in the north and Sichuan Provincial Museum in the east. It is the largest and most invested open urban forest park in Chengdu so far. The park is themed on Du Fu's poems, and the charm of Du Fu's poems can be found in many places. In fact, it is not just Du Fu, but also includes many beautiful poems, which is very interesting for visitors to glimpse a few words inadvertently. Huanhua Creek is not only a concrete display of the artistic conception of poetry, but also a botanical garden. Many of the plants in it are uncommon tropical plants, and often have a sense of substitution for the works of Henri Rousseau, which is incredible.

    By Hill Blossoming |

After leaving Du Fu Thatched Cottage, you will find Huanhuaxi Park, a place recommended by a friend in Chengdu. We walked straight down the park avenue. There are many stone tablets and statues in the park, introducing the Three Caos, the Three Sus, Qu Yuan, Li Bai and Du Fu. A road on the ground is engraved with the surnames and poems of famous poets from the Five Dynasties, Sui, Tang and Song Dynasties. Bao was impatient to play and wanted to go back to the hotel, so I asked her to jump along the names on the road, because each name was engraved in the shape of a star. The baby immediately became excited, she loves jumping the most. There is a large sculpture called the source at the exit of the park: there is a large tripod on four pillars, and water gushed out of the tripod and sprayed down, like a water curtain cave. The baby was very happy to see it. After leaving the park, we walked along the Weishui River for a while, and then took a taxi back to the hotel to rest.

It is very close to Du Fu Thatched Cottage, so we visited it together. There are many statues of ancient poets and their poems engraved on stone tablets. It has a strong cultural heritage. It can be called "Chinese Ancient Poetry Park". However, Huanhua Creek is already very elegant.

Personally, I think this garden is much better than Du Fu Thatched Cottage. Recommended.

Next to the famous Du Fu Thatched Cottage is a less famous forest park - Huanhuaxi Park. Although there are not many tourists here, there are thatched cottages, streams, bamboo forests, pavilions, bridges, pebbles and quiet paths with breeze and rustling branches and leaves. There is Bailuzhou where "two orioles sing in the green willows and a line of egrets fly in the blue sky", and there is Huanhuaxi water where "Huanhuaxi paper is peach blossom color, good for writing poems and hanging jade hooks" can be made. Xue Tao paper.

Exit the gate of Caotang and walk a short distance to the left to reach Huanhuaxi Park. Here I suggest that you do not leave Caotang through this gate, because this is a high-end residential area in Chengdu. It takes a long way to take a bus, and it is even more difficult to get a taxi. The Poetry Avenue of Huanhuaxi Park. When we came out of Caotang, it was getting dark, and we were unable to visit Huanhuaxi Park properly. It was a bit regrettable, but we will make up for it later.

In fact, it is similar to most gardens in the city. It is also a sacred place for poetry. The roads and walls are all carved with poems. The greenery is very good, and there is a large lake with birds living on it. The introduction next to it says that various kinds of birds often come to live in Huanhuaxi Park. It is suitable for the whole family to come here to relax and change the air on weekends.

Huanhuaxi Park is located between the First Ring Road and the Second Ring Road in the southwest of Chengdu. It is connected to Du Fu Thatched Cottage in the north and Sichuan Provincial Museum in the east. It is the largest and most invested open urban forest park in Chengdu so far. It is rated as the only five-star park in Chengdu. You can visit it together with Du Fu Thatched Cottage and Sichuan Provincial Museum.

"When I rode a horse to the west of Jincheng, I was intoxicated by the plum blossoms. The fragrance continued for 20 miles, from Qingyang Palace to Huanhua Creek." Although there are no plum blossoms in this season, you can still appreciate Mr. Fangweng's intoxication with plum blossoms in the Plum Garden. The scenery of Huanhua Creek is subtle and graceful, with thatched cottages, streams, bamboo forests, small bridges and pebbles. "Green bamboos lead to secluded paths, and green vines brush against clothes." Being in it, you can enjoy the unique tranquility in the hustle and bustle.
