Xiling Snow Mountain Scenic Area, where Huashuiwan Hot Spring Tourist Area is located, is over 1,000 meters above sea level. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains and clear waters, warm in winter and cool in summer, and has a pleasant climate. Along the route are the Taoist holy land Heming Mountain and the historical education base Dayi Liu's landlord manor.
Huashuiwan Hot Spring was formed during the period of sea and land changes in the ancient Sichuan Basin. It was excavated at a depth of 1,800-2,600 meters underground. It is contained in the famous Longmenshan Fault Zone, Permian and Triassic geological layers where the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Chengdu Plain intersect. The daily water output is about 5,000 cubic meters, and the water temperature at the wellhead reaches 68 degrees.

Huashui Bay is located at the foot of Xiling Snow Mountain in Dayi County. It is famous for its hot springs. There are more than a dozen hot spring hotels of various sizes, all of which are of good quality. It is especially suitable for taking a bath in winter. In order to attract tourists, a hot spring town has been built. All of them are imitation European-style buildings, especially like European towns, which are very suitable for wedding photography. In addition, there is no industrial pollution in Huashui Bay and the air quality is particularly good.

There is no shuttle bus from Huashuiwan Hot Spring Resort back to Chengdu. You can only take a bus to Dayi County Passenger Transport Center, which takes about 40 minutes to arrive.

There are hot springs all around Huashui Bay, so there are many swimsuit shops. We forgot to bring our own, so we just bought one. The price was okay, not too expensive. But it’s very expensive to live nearby.

As winter approaches, choose a weekend to go to the nearby hot springs and go skiing. The most suitable one is a 2-day leisure tour of Dayi Huashui Bay and Xiling Snow Mountain.

For tourists who have not been to Huashui Bay, I would like to explain that the hot springs in Huashui Bay are not just one place. Different hotels have their own hot springs.

The restaurant street in Huashuiwan is all European style. Apart from a few noodle shops, there are restaurants that sell barbecue and home-cooked dishes. To be honest, the prices are a bit high, and some of them are a bit outrageous. I feel that the menu should have a distinction between out-of-town prices and local prices.

Huashuiwan Town, about 20 minutes’ drive from Xiling Xueshang, is a famous hot spring resort. Soaking in hot springs after climbing the mountain is also a good choice.

It is best to bring your own swimsuit for hot spring bathing. The swimsuits sold in Huashuiwan are very expensive. Although the hotel provides bath towels and bathrobes, it is best to bring your own, after all, many people have used them.
