The slightly more distinctive ones are the bird path and the monkey judo, which can be walked again. This is also built by the scenic area for publicity later, but it is not too long to finish! The water quality at the foot of the mountain is also very poor, it can be said that it is not an exaggeration to describe it as dirty! In short, the ticket price of more than 100 is not worth it, in my personal opinion!

"The road to Shu is difficult, more difficult than ascending to the sky", "Jiangge is majestic and towering, one man guards the pass, ten thousand men cannot open it", the poet Li Bai's "The Road to Shu is Difficult" focuses us on the destination of this time - Jianmen Shu Road Jianmen Pass Tourist Area is located in the north of Jiange County, Guangyuan City. It consists of two adjacent scenic spots, Jianmen Pass and Cuiyun Corridor. It is an important node of the Sichuan Jiuzhaigou Loop and the support center of the Shu Road Three Kingdoms Cultural Boutique Tourism Route. It is a national 5A-level scenic spot with a long history. It is the core value section of the Pre-Qin Ancient Shu Road-Jinniu Road, with a history of more than 3,000 years. There are still many precious cultural relics such as ancient bridges, ancient buildings, ancient inscriptions, ancient temples, ancient city sites, and roadside trees. It is the earliest, longest-used, and most complete artificial ancient post road in the history of ancient Chinese transportation roads.

Jianmen Pass has an extremely important historical position. It is a dangerous pass on the Shu Road, and is known as "Jianmen is the most dangerous pass in the world", "the first pass in the world" and "the gateway to Shu". It has been a battleground for military strategists throughout the ages.

The tower is 19.34m high, 19.16m long and 13.6m wide at the base. It is divided into three floors: the first floor is used as a passage for entering and exiting the checkpoint in peacetime, the second floor is used to defend against enemy forces, and the third floor is used to observe invaders from afar.

Jianmen Pass is located in Jiange County, Guangyuan City. The Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai's poem "Difficult Road to Shu" praised it as "Jiangge is majestic and steep, one man guarding the pass, ten thousand men cannot open it" and made it famous at home and abroad. Jianmen Pass integrates the culture of the Three Kingdoms, the culture of the Shu Road, the pass culture, and the red culture, integrating majesty, danger, strangeness, and seclusion.

There are three routes for visiting Jianmen Pass: the river valley hiking cultural route, the mid-mountain cliff sightseeing route, and the mountaintop bird trail experience route.

We were traveling with children, and we took the 2-hour River Valley Cultural Route. There were a few cultural attractions, a few poems, and a few statues along the route, and nothing else. When we arrived at the Guanlou, I felt a little disappointed. Why couldn't I feel the artistic conception of "one man guarding the pass, ten thousand men cannot open it"? It seems that if I have the chance to go there again, I will challenge the thrilling routes such as the Bird Path and the Monkey Trampling Path.

The best route to Jianmen Pass is South Gate - Pass Tower - Cliff Corridor - Fairy Corridor - Bird Path or Monkey Path - Glass Plank Road - Liangshan Temple - East Gate - South Gate

This route is closest to the Guanlou, and allows visitors to experience the unique bird path and monkey path of Jianmen Pass. There are also environmentally friendly shuttle buses in between, saving time, effort and money.



The staff does not allow flying drones, but you can fly them freely where there are no people.

Guanlou: Qingyuntai Restaurant is a good take-off point, it is spacious and has signal, and it is facing Guanlou.

Yuanguai Road: The entrance of the glass plank road is the best take-off point for aerial photography of Yuanguai Road and Jianmen Pass. The cliff corridor is quite stunning.

Sichuan has "four wonders" - the wonders of Jiuzhaigou, the beauty of Emei Mountain, the seclusion of Qingcheng Mountain, and the danger of Jianmen Pass. I'm sure most people have heard of them! The poet Li Bai once lamented: "How dangerous and high! The road to Shu is as difficult as climbing to the sky!" The world's most powerful pass mentioned is located in the north of Jiange County, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province.

I chose the ape path instead of the bird path for more excitement. It lived up to my expectations. The Shu Road is difficult, and the ape path is a good interpretation. It is very distinctive and a unique experience. The others are so-so. The glass plank road costs 10 yuan. It really took a lot of effort to repair it, but it doesn't mean much.

The best route to visit the scenic area is to enter from the South Gate and exit from the East Gate (take the bus from the East Gate bus station back to the South Gate)

There are three important attractions: Guanlou, Bird Path, and Suspended Glass Observation Platform

You can see the Guanlou soon after entering from the South Gate. It is recommended to walk along the sightseeing lane between the Guanlou and the bird path (it is more energy-saving). I personally think that the bird path is the best view of the entire scenic area, which truly reflects the "difficult road to Shu". Finally, you will reach the glass viewing platform (surrounded by green mountains).

According to "Huanyu Ji", during the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of Shu Han, thought that there was a "30-li road from Dajian to Xiaojian Pass in Hande County (now Hanyang Town), with mountains and hills connected for thousands of miles", so he "carved stones to build a flying bridge to allow travelers to pass through". He also built a gate with stones at the place where two cliffs stood apart on the steep cliffs of Dajian Mountain, appointed a guard and set up garrisons, and named it Jiange, which became a military pass.

But the current Jianmen Pass is not the ancient Jianmen Pass. In 1935, the original Jianmen Pass Tower was demolished to build the Sichuan-Shaanxi Highway. It was rebuilt in 2006 and was severely damaged by the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008. It was rebuilt and opened in 2010. Therefore, most of the scenic spots here are artificially created. It is unlikely to come here to visit the ancient times, but it is okay to climb the mountain.

At Platform 14 of Jianmen Pass Passenger Transport Station, get on the bus from the tourist distribution center to Jianmen Pass Scenic Area. The fare is three yuan. Bus No. 7 departs every 30 minutes. The 30 minutes is just the guidance time. I waited for 40 minutes on the bus before it drove away. Bus No. 7 all departs from Jianmen Pass Passenger Transport Center. When returning, if there are passengers going to the high-speed rail, it will also go to the high-speed rail. If there are no passengers going to the high-speed rail station or there are too few passengers, it can also not go to the high-speed rail station and go directly back to the passenger station. So if you go from the high-speed rail station to Jianmen Pass, if you take Bus No. 7, you may have to wait for a long time. You can choose Bus No. 2 to Bus No. 7, which will be faster. The terminus of Bus No. 7 is the South Gate of Jianmen Pass, and it takes about 20 minutes to drive. If you go to Cuiyun Corridor again, you can transfer to a minibus at the South Gate of Jianmen Pass. That is, after getting off Bus No. 7, walk 200 meters south and there will be a minibus at the entrance of Cuiping Lane, which is the minibus from Jianmen Pass to Pu'an. There is a bus every 40 minutes. The journey takes 20 minutes and the fare is 5 yuan. Remember not to take a private black car at the train station. It seems to be 20 yuan cheaper than a taxi, but in fact it only takes you to the north gate. In short, this trip exceeded expectations. The steepness of Jianmen Pass and the tranquility of Cuiyun Corridor are both unforgettable. In particular, there are so many thousand-year-old pines and cypresses concentrated in Cuiyun Corridor, which is rare and shocking. It is recommended to visit these two attractions in one day, and go to Jiange Tianci Hotel to soak in the hot springs at night to relieve the fatigue of the day. There are also many restaurants, hotels, and swimsuit shops in front of Tianci Hotel, most of which also sell group purchase tickets for Tianci Hot Springs, 50 yuan each.

There were a lot of people during the May Day holiday. The scenic spot was really good. Although it was not very high, the cliffs were quite dangerous. There were many places to play. It was just that the weather was bad that day. It rained and there was a lot of fog. Otherwise, the scenery should be very beautiful.

There are buses from Nanhe Bus Station to Jianmenguan Scenic Area. This is a scenic area that combines humanities and natural scenery.

The tower is majestic and the bird path is worth climbing. The glass plank road on the top is relatively poor. Jianmen Pass is mainly the place of Jiang Wei, and there are many memorials to him.

I went there for free with the 2018 New Year's Day holiday travel card. The view was wide and the scenery was great! I was also very tired from walking haha! I recommend Shumen Inn for accommodation. Their tofu banquet is also good. The bird trail is fun!

We took a bus from Beimen Bus Station, and now you can also take the high-speed rail directly there.

The scenic area is well managed and the transportation is convenient. Come out of Jianmenguan Station and follow the instructions to go down the stairs and take bus No. 7 directly. We entered from the south gate and exited from the north gate, or we could enter from the north gate and exit from the south gate. One day is enough. The east gate can only be used for exiting but not for entering.

After getting off at Jianmen Pass High-speed Railway Station, take bus No. 2, then change to bus No. 7, and you can reach the North Gate in 40 minutes for 5 yuan. Jianmen Pass has retained its original flavor. The thrill of the bird path and the majesty of Jianmen Pass are very admirable. We have to sigh at the mysterious wisdom of nature and the ancients.

In the past, when the national highway passed Jianmen Pass, you could see Jianmen Pass from afar. In order to see the new pass building with antique wall tiles without buying a ticket, the local government simply dug the Jianmen Pass Tunnel. All vehicles and passengers pass through the Jianmen Pass Tunnel. Except for the dark tunnel dome, nothing else can be seen!

You can’t go through Jianmen Pass because it costs money and time to get in, so you can only take some photos in front of the tunnel and pass through.

I've been here in the summer before. The red maples and ginkgo trees are a different sight in the fall. Remember to enter through the south gate and exit through the north gate, which is more convenient.

There are "support trees". The mountain is really super super steep! I don't know how to take a photo to show it. It is almost vertical to the ground, very high and very steep! In this case, the scenic area also dug a mountain road, allowing tourists to climb to the top of the mountain along the path. It is really a "bird path". In fact, I am not sure whether that section of the road is called the bird path or the fairy bridge, but it is really steep and dangerous. It is really scary to look down from the cable car, because it is almost vertically rising, the height is really high, and the cable car is very crowded. It is not easy to reach the top for that glass observation deck.

After going to Jianmen Pass, I finally understood why a small pass in ancient times could block a large army for decades! It is really steep and difficult to walk through it! It is worth a visit!

Walking all the way from the South Gate, stepping on the stone slabs of the scenic area, the thousand-year-old Jiange Road, the bluestone steps, every place is a dialogue with history. Look at the rugged rocks on both sides, and there is a pass tower standing between two peaks not far away. Although this pass tower is not the same as the other one, it was rebuilt in the later period in imitation of the ancient style, and it no longer has the sense of historical vicissitudes. But standing on the cliffs on both sides of the pass tower, thinking back to the scene when Jiang Wei was stationed at this pass, it still feels magnificent.



A horizontal plaque hangs in the middle of the tower, with the four characters "The Greatest Pass in the World" inscribed on it. The pillars on both sides are engraved with "One man guards the pass, ten thousand men cannot open it". Looking down from the tower, one can feel the heroic spirit. Who dares to attack this dangerous pass? Standing at the great pass and looking into the distance, I can feel the bloody storms that the only exit of "the road to Shu is difficult, more difficult than climbing to the sky" experienced in the war-torn era.



The danger of Jianmen Pass is reflected in the bird path. If you don't climb the bird path yourself, you can't experience the hardships and thrills of the Shu Road. The bird path, as the name suggests, should be a path that only birds can fly over. It is really daunting to look at from below. Under the dense forest, a road stands in the air, close to the stone wall, vaguely visible, like a thin line. If there were no heads shaking, it would be hard to imagine that there were tourists walking on it.



During holidays, the number of visitors is large. In order to avoid safety hazards, the scenic area only allows one-way upward movement. Therefore, you have to take the cable car directly to the top of the mountain. If you want to take the bird path down, it is estimated that it will be prohibited during holidays. The upward road was relatively congested in the early stage, and it gradually became difficult as the terrain became steeper. Only one person could climb up the mountain wall. I used my hands and feet to move forward. Fortunately, there were iron rope fences on both sides, which were safe and convenient. Climb to the open space on the top of the mountain, look far away, and take in the beautiful scenery. I sighed and continued the second half of the bird path. I walked slowly along the cliff wall. I looked down at my feet and felt dizzy. I quickly grabbed the chains on both sides and walked quickly to the end of the exit. When I passed the exit and stepped on the bluestone platform, I felt more at ease. Dabao successfully challenged himself and was full of confidence.

We walked down from the observation deck, but unfortunately we missed the big and small caves because we were too tired. We took the bus from the East Gate Scenic Area to the Red Army Tower, and then walked down to the South Gate, passing by the Jiang Wei Temple on the way.

Paying respect to the general should be the best way to pay tribute to him. In front of us is a group of vivid sculptures. Jiang Wei stands with his sword, and the three warriors in front of him are either looking up to the sky and howling, or bowing their heads in contemplation, or in grief and indignation. Jianmen Pass has not been lost, but it has lost the meaning of holding on. From "The Records of the Three Kingdoms" to "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms", Jiang Wei has gone from being denied to being clearly supported. It has always been believed that whether a person is excellent or not is inconsistent with whether he can get a good evaluation. In the case of weak national strength and constraints from the rear, it is not easy for a general who only has military power but no political power to hold on and maintain. However, no matter how dangerous Jianmen Pass is, it cannot prevent the demise of the Shu Han regime, because people's hearts are the steel Great Wall that defends the country.

Jianmen Pass is truly majestic, and it is worthy of its reputation. There are several ways to walk through Jianmen Pass. If you want to take the Liangshan Temple route, it will take more than four hours. I took the cultural route, along the river valley, which took two hours. After the opening of the Xicheng High-speed Railway, you can take bus No. 7 from Jianmen Pass Railway Station to the south gate of the scenic area.

The road to Shu is harder than climbing to the sky! I deeply felt the steep terrain, steep mountains and difficult and dangerous roads of Jianmen Pass in the history of the Three Kingdoms.

For the first time in history, I wanted to leave as soon as I came. A villager said that it would cost 50 yuan per person to take us in. We still bought 115 yuan per person plus 15 yuan per person for insurance. As a result, many scenic spots were closed, so we asked an old villager to guard it. We couldn't find a staff member inside to ask for directions. The cable car is 50 yuan for a one-way trip and 70 yuan for a round trip. It is an empty box half the size of a bus. There are no seats inside and you can only stand. It can accommodate 10 to 20 people. There is only one cable car for up and down, and you have to wait for 20 minutes. Go to the top of the mountain and take a battery car for 15 yuan per person, which is also a 15-minute trip. You can take a minibus. Regardless of adults or children, the minibus is 5 yuan per seat. If it is not full, it will be another 20-minute trip. There is no air conditioning before driving. Everyone sits on the stone ladder by the roadside and waits. Take the minibus back to the gate of the scenic area. The whole process is very bad. I chatted with other tourists while waiting along the way. Everyone felt the same way. It's bad!

It takes six or seven hours to walk to all the attractions, while it takes four hours to take the cable car.

Jianmen Pass is indeed a great pass in the world. The eight-hour hike consumed almost all of my strength, and I saw so many beautiful scenery. There are many Shu Han relics in the scenic area, which are worth savoring for fans of the Three Kingdoms.

The Shu Road used to be difficult, more difficult than climbing to the sky, in order to feel the difficulty of the Shu Road. We walked the whole way, climbed Dajian Mountain, and went over the mountain to see the Guanlou, which felt particularly addictive. We did not slack off during the entire trip, we took the ape path up the mountain, and then walked down. Not to mention the mountain road, the ape path is extremely steep. When we climbed halfway up the mountain, looking at the pedestrians who were exhausted, we felt a little proud in our hearts. It can be seen that the Shu Road is difficult, it is indeed not ordinary difficult. No wonder it is said that taking down Jianmen Pass is like taking Sichuan, and taking down Jianmen Pass may not necessarily pass Dajian Mountain. After crossing Dajian Mountain, the majestic Jianmen Pass comes into view. It is a gap in the middle section of Dajian Mountain, which is hundreds of miles long. It is really an absolute strategic location. At such a majestic pass, it is difficult not to recall the past and think about the present~

It takes an hour to hike up to the highest glass viewing platform at Jianmen Pass. It is very high and steep. It is very strenuous. The view from a high place is beautiful. Don't go back the same way. Walk down the mountain from the glass viewing platform to the East Gate and take a sightseeing bus to the South Gate to save time and energy.

The worst 5A I have ever seen, no doubt about it, even worse than 3A.

1. The road is too narrow. The road from the highway to the scenic spot is very narrow. And sometimes people are not allowed to pass.

2. Parking is too difficult. Basically, you can only park outside the scenic area when you eat.

3. The least worthwhile route is Line 3. You have to walk all the way, there are no attractions to see, and it is very tiring.

4. There is a temple on the mountain after entering the gate. After you burn incense for free, someone will give you amulets, and then they will ask you to pay. A group of charlatans, cheating people every day.

5. Various charges, except for walking, everything else costs money. The glass plank road costs 10 yuan per person, climbing costs 60 yuan per person, the sightseeing bus costs 15 people, and the cable car costs 50 (very short, very cheating). Anyway, there are various charges.

6. The commercial atmosphere is too strong. There is no scenery inside. It is full of people selling things. Never come again

I really can't give any comments on this, because the 115 ticket is a bit of a rip-off. We didn't go to the bird path because we took the Sarumaru Do (a separate ticket of 65). I personally think Sarumaru Do is still worth a visit. Because both paths can only go up and not down, it is best to enter from the South Gate, and you can take a sightseeing bus or walk to the bird path after passing the customs building. The bird path and Sarumaru Do are together. According to the staff, the bird path is similar to Sarumaru Do, but the bird path has a safety fence, while Sarumaru Do does not. We entered and exited from the South Gate, and did not take the cable car or the sightseeing bus. We walked the whole way. I personally don't think it's tiring, but there is no special scenery along the way. You can also enter from the South Gate, take the sightseeing bus to the East Gate at the top for 15 per person, and there is a bus from the East Gate to the South Gate for 5 yuan per person.

There were a lot of people during the Qingming Festival, so the traffic police asked us to take a detour and drive dozens of kilometers. I bought the tickets online and went to the scenic spot to pick up the tickets, but 2 of the 3 ticket machines were out of paper. There were many tourists queuing but no staff came to change the tickets. The other machine that the person in front of me got stuck and didn't issue the tickets. I went to call the staff and waited for 10 minutes before they came to deal with it. This is the management of a 5A scenic spot.

In the scenic area, you can only climb the mountain. Because I took the elderly to climb the bird trail, I walked around the glass viewing platform. If you don't walk to see the scenery, the staff will shout to hurry up because there are too many people. There is no bus to Liangshan Temple now. You can only climb the mountain at the South Gate or take the cable car at the North Gate. We took the bus from the East Gate to the South Gate, and we had to walk a distance after getting off the bus to leave the scenic area.

From the scenic area to the top of the mountain, the cable car is divided into two sections. My wife was in a bad mood when she took the cable car. It was originally said that it was 50 yuan for two sections, but it was only one section. She was very angry. You can do whatever you want when you come out to someone else's small piece of land. What else can you do? The walking is divided into the lower section of the bird trail and the bird trail. Of course, I want to experience the charm of this bird trail in person. It is really addictive. Walking on the cliffs is really thrilling. I advise you to try not to look down. If you look down, the timid ones can't walk.

Jianmen Pass, the entire scenic area can be visited in half a day even if you walk the whole way. Tickets: The entrance ticket to the scenic area is 115 per person (of course we didn't pay), not including sightseeing buses and cable cars. The most worthwhile thing to visit is the bird path, which closes at 17:00. Because there are so many people, you need to "take the wrong bus", which took about half an hour. The suspended glass landscape was recently built, but it was a bit disappointing because the glass was too frosted and you could hardly see the bottom of your feet, and there was no excitement.

Jianmenguan Scenic Area is very suitable for me, because it is both a cultural attraction and a natural scenic area, and it can be visited as a forest park. The scenic area is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with beautiful scenery, dense trees, and winding mountain roads. Walking in it has a sense of health preservation. The entire tour range is actually very large. The scenic area diagram recommends three routes to tourists, as shown below: The blue one is the mountaintop bird path experience line, where you can take a high-altitude zip line and completely enter the deep mountains and dense forests, which takes at least four hours. The green one is the mid-mountain cliff sightseeing line, which must be used by cable cars and sightseeing cars, and it also takes three hours. The shortest is the orange "River Valley Hiking Cultural Line", which only requires walking along the river valley, without big ups and downs of the mountain, and most of the cultural and historical relics are concentrated on this line, so I chose this one. Although it is suggested that this route is two hours, I walked and stopped and took pictures, and finally walked for more than three hours. Walking on the valley road, there are many pavilions and trestle bridges, but I don’t feel tired. Some bridges also have their own stories, such as the "Wangguan Bridge", which is said to be the place where Zhang Fei stood on the bridge and looked at Jianmen Pass. The "Shixian Bridge" is naturally related to the poet Li Bai. Zigui Bridge is a story about Wangdi Du Yu, the king of ancient Shu who turned into a cuckoo bird. There are many huge rocks in the valley, and wrapped in the bleak winter, it has a sense of historical vicissitudes. Halfway through the trek, you will reach the Jianmen Pass Tower. In fact, this Jianmen Pass is no longer the Jianmen Pass in history. The Guanlou can be climbed from the gentle slope on the south side to enjoy the scenery. The reliefs on the first floor of the Guanlou record the major events that have occurred in Jiange and Jianmen Pass in history. For example, Qin general Sima Cuo opened up the Shu Road. Jiang Wei, the general of Shu Han in the Three Kingdoms, guarded Jiange to resist Zhong Hui. On the second floor of the Guanlou, there are portraits of celebrities related to Jianmen Pass in various dynasties, such as Huo Jun, Zhang Fei, Li Longji, Li Bai, Du Fu, Lu You, Huang Shang, Xu Xiangqian, etc. There is a memorial statue of Zhuge Liang at the foot of the pass. There is also a statue of Liu Bei, who passed through Jiange from Chengdu to Hanzhong and became the King of Hanzhong. When you walk far away and look back at the peak on the side of Jianmen Pass, you will magically find a side view of a human face on the cliff. This legend is still related to Jiang Wei. It is said that after Jiang Wei's death, his heroic spirit returned to Jiange and turned into a stone statue to continue to protect the homeland of Shu Han.

The place is very big, it takes a whole day to play all of it and you have to take the cable car. The bird trail is thrilling and the monkey trail is dangerous.

The management of the scenic area needs to be improved. The parking lot at the north gate is too small. There is no place to park when there are too many tourists. The bird path is worth experiencing. The Tianti Gorge is also spectacular. Liangshan Temple is not interesting. The Guanlou has become the symbol of Jianmen Pass. You can experience "one man guarding the pass and ten thousand men cannot open it."

The best route: No matter where you go from, the first stop must be to Guanlou, a landmark building, then go to Shiziping, take a sightseeing bus (actually there is nothing to see here), and then climb the Yuanzhi Road (you can only go up but not down), which is super exciting. After going up, go straight to the big and small caves, which are quite interesting, especially the small cave. The viewing platform behind the cave is quite good. Finally, there is a glass viewing platform, where you can go to Cuiping Lake and the temple to see (if there is enough time). You can go down the same way and walk the bird path, which is still okay. Then take the sightseeing bus down and walk directly on the plank road, where there is a zipline to experience. Next, you can walk freely depending on how much time you have.

When the weather is fine, the natural scenery at Jianmen Pass is very beautiful. Worth it!

The whole scenic area is well developed. The full ticket price is 110 yuan per person, and the explanation of the scenic area is not expensive. A large loop line climbs for half a day and only costs 280 yuan. Gentle foothills, cliffs and sunstone mountains are typical Yadan terrain. As a scenic spot combining scenery and humanities, it is worth a visit.



The most interesting part of the whole scenic area must be the monkey trail. It is newly built. Previously, there was only a bird trail. Take the cable car from the north gate to the middle of the mountain, and then take the bird trail or monkey trail to the east gate (top of the mountain). The monkey trail is very dangerous and requires a professional escort and safety measures to go up. It costs 60 yuan per person and is worth a try. It is very easy to go up the bird trail, and some steps are steep.

After passing the South Gate, you will find the core scenic spot Guanlou (near the South Gate). The scenic area tour guide said that the Guanlou was rebuilt in 2008, which is the second time the Guanlou has moved:p Most of the trails in the scenic area were also rebuilt after 2008. The Wenchuan earthquake had a great impact on the traffic in the scenic area. Fortunately, it did not have much impact on the mountain.

There were performances in front of the gate tower, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We only watched the beginning of the performance because it was interrupted by rain, which left us with regrets. There were props and costumes for taking photos not far from the steps under the gate tower. The costumes cost 20 yuan and the photos cost 10 yuan. Wearing armor and wielding heavy weapons, it was really like one man guarding the gate against ten thousand men.

The cost of this trip was over budget, but it was worth it. The only regret was that there were only two of us, so we couldn't eat many big meals, and many delicacies were difficult for two people to handle.

Jianmen Pass has a nice view, highly recommended, with three highlights: 1. You must experience the bird path to feel the majesty of Jianmen Pass! 2. Pay attention to arrange the route: the bird path can only go up the mountain from the Fairy Corridor, a one-way road!

It is only a dozen kilometers from Beijing-Kunming Expressway to Jianmen Pass Scenic Area via National Highway 108. First, you will pass the tourist center, from where you can take the cable car up the mountain. Drive straight ahead, and after passing the tunnel, you will reach Jianmen Pass Town and arrive at the south gate of the scenic area.

Jianmen Pass, located in the fault fold belt on the northern edge of the Sichuan Basin, has the momentum of "one man guarding the pass, ten thousand men cannot open it". It integrates the Three Kingdoms culture, Shu Road culture, pass culture, and red culture, and is majestic, dangerous, strange, and secluded. The mountain is steep in the north and gentle in the south, with cliffs as high as 100 to 200 meters, thousands of feet of cliffs, peaks and ridges, stretching for hundreds of kilometers, like a natural barrier. With an overwhelming momentum, it cuts off Qin and Shu, and surrounds the Shu Gate with a copper wall and iron wall!

Jianmenguan Scenic Area is located in the southeast of Jiange County, Guangyuan, and the north of Jianmenguan Town. It is the core scenic area of ​​Jianmen Shudao Scenic Area. The ticket price is 115 yuan/person. The scenic spots in the scenic area are spread up and down the cliffs for about 5km along the southwest-northeast direction. The core attractions are Guanlou, Bird Road, Glass Observation Deck, Tianti Gorge, and Dachuandong. There are three entrances and exits: South Gate, North Gate, and East Gate. If you drive, you can choose North Gate and East Gate. If you take a bus, it is most convenient to enter and exit from South Gate (you can take a minibus from Guangyuan Nanhe Bus Station through Jianmenguan for 18.5 yuan/person, and it takes about 1 hour to get to the South Gate of the scenic area. Combined with the recommended routes of the scenic area and the recommended routes for entering and exiting the scenic area from north to south: South Gate-Jiang Wei Tomb-Yingpanzui-Tianti Gorge-Liangshan Pavilion-Dachuandong-Glass Observation Deck-Fairy Bridge-Bird Road-Fairy Corridor-Stone Tree Terrace-Guanlou-South Gate. The whole journey is about 9-10km and takes 4-5 hours with normal physical strength.

At that time, I thought Jianmen Pass was the place with the best value for money among all the scenic spots, because the student ticket was only 20 yuan. Later, the viewing platform was repaired and the ticket price was adjusted. If I have the chance, I must go to Jianmen Pass again to experience the glass plank road!

I cannot give Jianmen Pass Scenic Area five stars because it has flaws. Let me start with the good aspects: First, it has the advantages of combining history and geographical location. Many stories of the late Three Kingdoms period are located here, plus the famous saying that "one man can block the pass and ten thousand men cannot open it". Second, the bird path is very good, giving people a thrilling feeling of climbing a mountain. Third, the Guanlou, a real one-man-block-ten-man-can't-open-it experience.

Let's talk about the disadvantages: First, the distances between the scenic spots in the scenic area are not clearly marked. They only tell you that there are three tour routes, one takes 2 hours, one takes 3 hours, and one takes 4 hours. You definitely can't see all three routes in one trip, and the important attractions are not shown at all. Tourists don't know which route is the most worthwhile and has the best scenery.

Second, there is no distinction between the cableway and the hiking trail. For example, after entering the gate, there is a cableway on the left, but you are not told that you can only take the cableway and not hike, which makes people go the wrong way in vain. And which roads can only be walked and which roads can be walked and taken are not marked in detail. The distance is long, and you don’t know which attractions are must-see. It is easy to miss some important attractions, such as we almost missed the Guanlou last time. If tourists don’t have enough time to see everything, they must take the sightseeing bus and cable car.

Third, the scenic spot is not worth enough. The glass plank road at the top is too small, and most people spend dozens of yuan to go up to see the glass plank road, but it only takes one or two minutes to walk up, which is not cost-effective. And you have to pay to take the cable car down. Although the bird path is good, it has a small traffic volume after all, and it is not a regular route.



The most important point is that it takes at least a full day to visit Jianmen Pass.

Also, you don't have to try the local specialty tofu banquet, it's a rip-off. A table costs 180 yuan, and there's only one meat dish, the rest are all vegetarian tofu, and the taste is not good, it's a scam for outsiders.

If you are a fan of the Three Kingdoms, then Jianmen Pass is a must-visit place for you. Jianmen Pass has a majestic momentum of "one man guarding the pass and ten thousand men unable to open it", which makes many people admire it. Being in the scenic area is not only a visual enjoyment brought by the steep mountains and beautiful forests. It also makes you marvel at the wisdom and courage of the ancients. Jianmen Pass Scenic Area is very large. If you want to walk through the scenic area more comprehensively, it will take one day. I personally recommend entering from the South Gate and exiting from the South Gate. After entering from the South Gate, walk about 400 meters along the main road to see the main tower. The glass of the observation deck on the top of the mountain is too dirty, and there's no feeling of height at all! The management and service of the scenic area are not very good. Maybe there were too many people during the National Day, which led to my bad experience. I personally don't want to go there a second time after going there once.

If you want to have a good time at Jianmen Pass, you really need a whole day. I didn't plan my trip well during the National Day holiday. After climbing Jianmen Pass, my calves hurt for 2 days and it was annoying to walk. The entire scenic area of ​​Jianmen Pass is very large. If I take the cable car all the way, I don't think I can appreciate the natural danger of Jianmen Pass. There were too many people during the National Day holiday, so I didn't climb the bird path, which is a narrow path on the cliff. I feel very sorry. I will climb it again in the future. And after climbing Jianmen Pass, it is recommended to take a day off, because the mountains here are very steep and it will be very tiring.

The Guanlou was fun, someone acted as Zhuge Liang and performed a show, the bird path was exciting and fun, but it was a pity that the glass bridge was all spent and it was not exciting enough

First, online ticket bookings will only be available after four hours; second, it is more time-saving and labor-saving to park at the north gate and take the cable car; third, it is recommended to climb up from a young age to walk on the bird path. Although this is tiring, it is not dangerous, and if there are many people, the scenic area will probably release one side, and generally will not allow people to walk from the top to the bottom; fourth, it is not recommended for timid people and children to walk on the bird path, which is still quite thrilling. You can take the No. 2 cable car directly to the glass plank road; fifth, if you enter from the south gate, you will walk all the way up, which has a good meaning, but you will be exhausted, so choose the route according to the situation. If you really can't walk anymore, you don't have to go to the glass plank road, because it is already frosted glass and you can't see anything under your feet.

The scenic spot is good overall, and the services are OK, but some toilets are too dirty and unbearable. I hope the scenic spot can pay attention to this.
