Lushan is like a park in the local area, and many locals go there. The ticket price is affordable, the shuttle bus is 2 yuan one way, and the ticket is 3 yuan (it is recommended to take the shuttle bus). The main entrance is where the shuttle bus gets off. You can basically see the panoramic view of Qionghai Lake at Lushan. It is not recommended to bring children and friends who cannot be frightened, because... The monkeys in Lushan are super hooligans, no different from robbers. After seeing the monkeys in Lushan and then looking at the monkeys in Luoji Mountain, they are like aristocrats among monkeys. If you want to go to Lushan to see monkeys, pay attention to the following points:

1. After entering the main gate, there are many vendors. Buy a bamboo stick (for self-defense). Choose a slightly thicker one and tap it vertically on the ground twice. You want one that makes a loud sound. But please do not actively use the bamboo stick to attack the monkeys.

2. Don’t feed the monkeys;

3. Keep all bags closed (food should not be exposed);

4. Do not hold drinks or pockets in your hands;

5. Don’t make eye contact with the old monkey;

6. The monkey came up to ask for food and slowly spread out his hands to indicate that there was no food.

To summarize the above points, my trouser pocket was touched by an old monkey, my cell phone was almost touched, my second hand was also touched..., my sister was scratched, and there were two marks on her two hands.

The vegetation of Lushan Mountain is not as rich as that of Luoji Mountain. The monkeys on the mountain have sparse and dark fur. They will snatch anything they see. Lushan monkeys: They mainly eat peanuts and other fruits given by tourists. They will snatch the tourists' mineral water, drinks and bags. Luoji Mountain monkeys: They eat fruits and only snatch the tourists' drinks. They will not drink mineral water.

Having said the monkeys, let's talk about the scenery. The scenery of Lushan is average, but you can see Qionghai Lake, which is nice. There are many temples on the mountain, but they are not very big, and many are under renovation. If you want to walk to the top of the mountain, it will take 4-5 hours to walk up and down. Friends who are short of time can choose not to go. There is a parking lot at the entrance of the mountain, which is not very big. The price is cheap, 5 yuan per time for small cars and 6 yuan per time for large cars. There are several parking lots across the road, some are 5 yuan per time, and some are 10 yuan for 2 hours, plus 3 yuan per hour.

Recommended itinerary for friends who travel to Xichang for two days

1. The first day is Luoji Mountain and the 99 hot springs of Luoji Mountain.

You should go to Luoji Mountain early and make sure you get down the mountain before 5 o'clock (cable car), then go to Luoji Mountain Jiujiu Hot Spring (more than 50 kilometers, 1 hour journey), the hot spring is open until 12 o'clock in the evening;

2. The next day: Qionghai Lake (Qionghai Lake is less than 10 kilometers away from Xichang)

Lushan Mountain is also a symbol of Xichang. It is recommended to take the cable car up to Guangfu Temple and then climb up. Then walk down the mountain and visit the Slave Museum.

By Han Feihome |

The entrance to the trail is across the road from the Moonlight Town, and you can overlook Qionghai Lake from the top of the mountain.

By 王倆吉 |

Lushan Mountain and Qionghai Lake are only one street apart. First, go to the viewing platform halfway up Lushan Mountain to overlook the panoramic view of Qionghai Lake. There is a quiet temple halfway up the mountain. Everything around is quiet and the soul feels baptized. There are many wild monkeys on Lushan Mountain, and I heard from passers-by that you can't get too close because the monkeys are aggressive. You can't bring snacks up the mountain because they will snatch your snacks. Everyone must be careful.

By Ha Xiaobi |

The ticket to Lushan Mountain is 3 yuan, and the observation deck on the top of the mountain is 5 yuan, but there are telescopes and karaoke. It was the first time for me to sing on the top of the mountain, so I sang alone. It is already a very conscientious scenic spot.

The Lushan Lookout is about 2,200 meters above sea level. It takes 1.5 hours to reach the top of the mountain, and it takes 2 hours for most people. There is an altitude record monument before the top of the mountain, 2,000 meters above sea level, and then the last section of the road to the top is a continuous uphill climb, with an altitude increase of 200 meters.

By Youth Brother |

Located opposite the "Moonlight Town" in Xichang. Tickets are required. We did not enter. We went to the Moon Goddess Statue on the opposite side of Qionghai Lake. There is no ticket to go down to see Qionghai Lake.

By Casual Years |

Lushan Mountain is 2,317 meters above sea level and faces Qionghai Lake to the east. With the momentum of "half of the wall supports the sky, Ningcheng is a painting screen", it forms a major scenic spot in southwest Sichuan with Qionghai Lake, and is known as the "Southern Sichuan Scenic Spot". The trails in the forest of Lushan Mountain are winding, and the green pines and cypresses lined up on the roadside lead tourists into the mountain and directly to the top of the mountain. Hidden in the dense shade are more than 10 ancient temples built in the Han, Tang, Ming and Qing dynasties, including Guangfu Temple, Mengduan Temple, Sanjiao Temple, Zushi Hall, Guanyin Pavilion, Queen Mother Hall, Jade Emperor Hall, Qingyang Palace, Wuzu Temple, etc. These ancient temples belong to Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism respectively. Although their religious rules and philosophical thoughts are different, they can live in harmony in a mountain for thousands of years and spread their own religions. This is rare and unique in the country. You can see the panoramic view of Qionghai Lake on Lushan Mountain. The entrance fee to Lushan Mountain starts from the middle of the mountain. I climbed very high at that time and thought I was already in the Lushan Scenic Area. It was not until I returned to the foot of the mountain and saw many monkeys in my friend’s photos that I realized that I had not entered the scenic area (the paid area). Its gate is next to Guangfu Temple and the ticket is 20. If you don’t want to see the monkeys, there is really no need to go in. You have already walked half of the mountain, haha! It only takes half an hour to walk down from Lushan Mountain. Its mountain gate is next to the Yuexia Fengqing Town.

By Sima |

The monkeys in Lushan are the most ferocious of all the monkeys I have seen in so many places. So those who go to Lushan to see monkeys must be careful.

In fact, the monkey seems to be very well-behaved when it is quiet, but once it sees food or something like a bottle in your hand, it will rush up to grab it in an instant.

The highest point of Lushan Mountain - the observation tower, with an altitude of 2,317 meters, you can see the panoramic view of the entire Xichang city and the panoramic view of Qionghai Lake. You can also use binoculars to see anywhere. It costs 5 yuan per person. I roughly calculated that it takes about 2-3 hours to climb from Guangfu Temple at the foot of the mountain to here.

By luoohe |

The foot of Lushan Mountain actually feels very good, but the higher you go, the less unique and refreshing it becomes. The only thing left is the view of Qionghai Lake and the city. The last half an hour of the journey to the top of the mountain is on the top of a bald mountain that has caught fire. The brick house on the top is the worst. It's a small mountain, but the monkeys are rampant, which makes people feel helpless.

By Sunflowers blooming in summer |

A famous mountain in Xichang, opposite the Moonlight Town, overlooking the entire Qionghai Lake, it is very spectacular. Another happy thing is the eldest brother on the mountain. I heard from the inn owner that the monkeys on the mountain would steal food from tourists. I specially prepared fruits for the eldest brother in advance. At first, I couldn't see any, but along the way up the mountain, I found a very alert one. I put a small orange on the ground for it from a distance. Soso moved very quickly and went to take it. He ate happily and shouted. I guess he was calling friends. Soon, several more came. The food that my husband hid was divided up in a short while. . . It was very lively and interesting. But I remind everyone to be careful. Monkeys will pounce on tourists to grab food and block the road to prevent pedestrians from passing. We have seen the skills of the eldest brother along the way, and I am a little scared.

By Xiaoqi |

Tickets and sightseeing buses are cheap, but please note that they are only one-way tickets. You need to buy them again for the return trip. A corner of Lushan Mountain. There are many temples and Buddha statues on the mountain. It is still difficult to climb to the top of the mountain. We are lacking in exercise and finally went to Guangfu Temple to prepare to go down the mountain. Another reason is that we did not find the matchmaker, otherwise we would have gritted our teeth and went up.

By Dugu Seeks Pleasure |

There is a lot of content on the mountain, and the vegetation is very good, it is worth a visit.

By Little brother |

Guangfu Temple has kept the ticket price at 3 yuan for 30 years. How many temples in the country can keep charging this much? No doubt, give it a hundred thumbs up! Support Master Haideng's successor, Master Shi Zhaozhou. Well done!

By 27Tattoos |

It is an ordinary mountain, and its only attraction is to climb to a high place to overlook the Qionghai Lake. However, there is also a slave society museum, so friends who are interested in history or ancient artifacts can go and have a look.

By JACK |

There are Guangfu Temple, Liangshan Yi Slave Museum and other attractions on Lushan Mountain, and you can climb up to see the Qionghai Lake from afar.

By Chunhui |

The altitude is 2307m, close to Qionghai Lake. The environment on the mountain is OK, but there is no need to make a special trip. At most, you can warm up for the Qionghai Lake in the morning.

By My life |

There are many monkeys on the mountain, which is quite fun. The scenery on the top of the mountain is very good, but you must pay attention to sun protection.

By Zhang Da Wang |

There are many local people. There are some small commodity stalls on the mountain. Climbing is good for fitness, but there is nothing to see in terms of scenery.

By Willy Yan |

It cost 60 yuan per person, cable car and slide, and only found out after going up the mountain that you can drive up, which is not cost-effective, otherwise several people can save hundreds of yuan

By I chase the sun |

Lushan Mountain overlooks Qionghai Lake. Before we climbed up, we kept muttering that it was no different from climbing other mountains, but when we climbed up, we were really conquered by it. Especially singing in the KTV on the top of the mountain, it was super cool, howling and refreshing. Moreover, the boss brother has a super nice voice. After listening to his singing, I immediately became a little fan girl.

By LX.Monthly Fish |

The monkeys on the mountain are very cute and there are so many tourists who go to see the monkeys.

By rhj |

In the morning, it takes a few minutes to reach Lushan Mountain and 20 minutes to reach the gate of Lushan Mountain. You can see monkeys, but the monkeys here are still very strong. They will come to grab the food in their hands. My girlfriend looked at the cute little monkey and prepared to take a closer photo. Suddenly, the little monkey called his mother and rushed over and shouted at us, which scared us to death. However, there were many monkeys in the place where we just entered. Many partners couldn't climb up halfway. With my encouragement, my girlfriend still followed and climbed up. The scenery of Lushan Mountain is not very good, but it is still a good choice for just climbing. When we arrived at Ganhaizi, the boss who ate jelly was very nice and enthusiastic. There were also hammocks for rest. Those who were ready to go to the top of the mountain could rest here and prepare to continue. To be honest, the scenery on the top of the mountain was average. The viewing platform was 5 yuan per person. Fat children's shoes still didn't go up because they couldn't get on the viewing platform. It is recommended not to be so close when taking pictures of the little monkey. I went out to climb at 9:30 in the morning. The sun was very strong, but the shade was very cool.

By Leisure |

The main peak of Lushan Mountain (Shamaoxiang) is 2,317 meters above sea level, about 800 meters above the sea level of Qionghai Lake. It takes about eight kilometers to climb from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. Lushan Mountain is a natural green barrier for Xichang with its beautiful mountains and towering ancient trees. There are also many wild monkeys on the mountain, which adds a lot of interest to tourists.

By Like a dream, like a fantasy moon |

In fact, apart from trees and temples, Mount Lushan is just a place where you have to keep climbing. Now they even charge admission. I personally feel that it doesn’t have any special features!

By Strolling in the Garden |

Mount Lu is over 2,300 meters above sea level, overlooking Qionghai Lake. The forest trails meander, monkeys climb and play, nap in the sun, or ask for food from tourists. The green pines and cypresses lead tourists into the mountain and directly to the top of the mountain. Hidden in the dense shade are more than 10 ancient temples built in the Han, Tang, Ming and Qing dynasties, including Guangfu Temple, Sanjiao Temple, Zushi Hall, Guanyin Pavilion, Queen Mother Hall, Jade Emperor Hall, Qingyang Palace, Wuzu Temple, etc., which belong to Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism respectively. Although their religious rules and philosophical thoughts are different, and some only have one or two ruins left, they can live in harmony in a mountain for thousands of years and spread their own religions. This is rare and unique in the country!

Standing on the observation deck on Mount Lushan, you can overlook Qionghai, which is particularly beautiful.

By Ran Ran Ran Xiao Qiu |

You can drive directly to Lushan Mountain and stop at the viewing platform to see the panoramic view of Qionghai Lake. The monkeys near the God of Wealth Temple are much more docile than those in Mount Emei. You can buy peanuts to feed them.

By owenbzf |

Take the cable car up to Lushan Mountain and overlook the Qionghai Lake. The round-trip cable car fee is 50;

In fact, Lushan Mountain is not that high. If I had time, I would really like to climb it by myself.

By Small small small white ~~ |

Qionghai Lake surrounds Mount Lushan. From Mount Lushan, you can see Qionghai Lake from afar. It takes about 3 hours to climb the mountain. There is a transmission tower on the top of the mountain. You can pay to go up. The monkeys are not as fierce as those on Mount Emei. But they are wilder.

By re_Heat |

There are many monkeys on the mountain, and they will snatch things from you. Be careful not to anger the monkeys. The mountain is not as high as you think, and you can climb to the top!

By 12th |

The scenery is very good. There are few people on the Woyun Villa route, and the road is easy to walk. You can see Qionghai halfway up the mountain. I encountered a few monkeys on the road. They are very crooked.

I went to Lushan to find accommodation, but I couldn't find one. I must book a room in advance during holidays.

The monkeys in Lushan are so scary. The couple next to me got robbed as soon as we entered. The tofu rice on the mountain is sold by two mothers-in-law and tastes great!

The sky shining on the mountain, I hope that those who see the love will be happy~

What attracted me to Lushan was the unique scenery, the coexistence of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism, which constituted a tourist attraction with both natural and cultural landscapes. The natural and cultural landscapes are gathered here, and the spiritual energy is concentrated here. It is also praised by monks and Taoists as a good mountain for enlightenment. In the depths of the dense forest, more than ten Buddhist temples and palaces are exposed in a staggered manner. The ancient temples and palaces are built according to the terrain, each in a secluded environment, majestic and spectacular, with carved beams and painted buildings, which are fascinating. It is indeed a treasure mountain in Xichang.

By Mr. Dede |

Beautiful Xichang, beautiful Lushan Mountain. Although it is not high, the view is excellent!

By The Goose Leaves Its Image |

Lushan is a bit high, and climbing under the scorching sun is really not a good thing

The ticket price of Lushan Mountain is so cheap that you can go back to the period before liberation. The temples, thousand-year-old cypresses and the view from a high place are all worth seeing.

By rzhyangyang |

Lushan has a good environment and is the only place where Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism coexist.

The monkeys in Lushan are also very clever. Climb up Lushan Mountain to see Qionghai, and you can have a panoramic view of the magnificent Qionghai.

By Snowman |

There are a lot of monkeys on the mountain. They are used to tourists and have no fear. When they see something in your hand, they think it is food. Some of them walk over to you, while others look at you from a distance. Different monkeys have different eyes and expressions. The bold ones will directly rush up to you to grab the food, while the timid ones will look at you with super innocent eyes, which make you feel pity for them and feel like you are about to melt.

In the early winter morning, Xichang is still a little cold, even though it is in the south, due to the altitude of more than 1,500 meters. Lushan is not far from the urban area, on the south bank of Qionghai Lake, about 5 kilometers south of Xichang City. There are buses No. 14, 17, and 22 in the city, with a fare of 1 yuan. Get off at the Moonlight Town Station.

After getting off the bus, on the left is the moonlight town of Qionghai, and on the right is the gate of Lushan. The gate archway is quite spectacular. According to reports, Lushan is 2,317 meters above sea level and is known as the "Southern Sichuan Scenic Spot". It is one of the provincial scenic spots in Sichuan. The mountain is full of towering ancient trees and lush pine trees. People use "pine wind, water and moon" to describe the scenery of Lushan and Qionghai. The scenery of Xichang is to appreciate "the pines of Lushan, the wind of Anning River, the water of Qionghai, and the moon of Xichang".

After entering the gate of Lushan Mountain, a road winds up the mountain. We took a shortcut through the forest trails, sometimes climbing up the steps, sometimes climbing over the low wall in the forest, and first visited the Liangshan Slave Society Museum (which will be mentioned later). After receiving free tickets with ID cards, we continued to go up the mountain. A striking memorial to the "Martyrs' Monument to the Fallen in the War of Resistance Against Japan" on the hillside stands solemnly in the mountains and forests. After paying tribute, we continued to move forward. There was a ticket office on the side of the mountain. Each person bought a ticket for 3 yuan and continued to move forward. The leaves of trees everywhere on the mountain showed the colorful colors after late autumn, and the leaves were all over the ground. After that, we entered the territory of monkeys. It was the breakfast time for the monkeys. These monkeys came whistling and ran everywhere, which was really cute. Looking at the strange appearance of the monkeys, we laughed at the same time and felt that these naughty monkeys were quite interesting. Who told us not to bring them "gifts" into the mountain.

We did not reach the top of the mountain. Halfway up the mountain, we entered a Guanyin Pavilion and toured inside and outside, and then visited a Taoist temple nearby. It was really beautiful to see Qionghai Lake and the surrounding lakes and mountains from the mountain.

By YanJZ |

There were quite a lot of monkeys. If you were carrying something, they would come and grab it. So I didn’t climb to the top and was scared down by the monkeys.

Fortunately, the ticket price is not expensive, 3 yuan per person.

There are a lot of monkeys, haha. It's very high and it's a bit cold up there.

By MuZi-Mr. Li |

You can feed the monkeys on the mountain. There are stalls set up by locals on the mountain. You can buy peanuts for 2 yuan a bag. You can choose to hike up the mountain and take the slide down the mountain, which is very exciting!

By Homebody |

The most distinctive feature is the monkeys on the mountain.

I remember there was an old monkey. We gave it some peanuts. It ate a few and then cried out “Oh~~”. We thought it was saying thank you. But 2-3 minutes later, dozens of monkeys of all sizes came from all directions and surrounded us and grabbed our bags. Fortunately, I scared them away with a rock. Imagine how it feels to be surrounded by dozens of monkeys. . .

By Hahahaha |

It took 2 hours to get to the top, and I didn't have to pay the entrance fee. Haha, there were too many little monkeys, so I had to be careful. The microphone on the top of the mountain was cool.

The mountain is located 5 kilometers south of Xichang City. Lushan Mountain, which rises from the ground and borders Qionghai Lake, forms one of the major scenic spots in southwestern Sichuan with Qionghai Lake with its imposing manner of "half of the wall supports the sky, and Ningcheng is like a painting screen". It is known as the "Scenic Spot in Southern Sichuan".

By A walk in the clouds |

After visiting Qionghai, I climbed up Lushan Mountain. The so-called climbing was just taking a cable car directly to Guangfu Temple. What impressed me most when I came here before was the poem engraved on the screen wall in front of the mountain gate, which was written by Yang Sheng'an, a poet in the Ming Dynasty, when he climbed Lushan Mountain: "I stayed at Lushan Mountain tonight, and was shocked that the gate of heaven was not closed at night. Who smashed the space to pieces, and the stars in the sky fell on the earth?" The poem gave the most vivid and vivid description of the Torch Festival in Xichang at that time, which made people imagine. Now the screen wall has been damaged by the earthquake and has become a dangerous wall, and a cordon has been set up around it.

Climb up the Wanghai Tower and look into the distance. Surrounded by green mountains on three sides and a city on one side, you can see a lake of clear water, rippling waves and cloud shadows, which complement each other and are pleasing to the eye.

Next to the Main Hall is a Nine-Dragon Cypress tree that is over 2,000 years old. Its vigorous branches are like a dragon about to take flight, which is shocking. A sign says that it is one of the top ten tree kings in Sichuan.

Behind the Zushi Hall is the place with the most monkeys in Lushan. The monkeys are sitting on big trees or swinging on vines. Many half-grown monkeys are sitting on the stone railings beside the walking path, and they often receive food thrown by tourists. They have different expressions. Some of them keep scratching their bodies with their hands, and some little monkeys lie in the arms of their mothers and act like a spoiled child. Half-grown monkeys are the least afraid of people. They make faces and tease tourists to throw monkey food. Some even run over to ask for food when they see tourists approaching. Tourists are not stingy and throw peanuts and biscuits to these monkeys. The monkeys accurately catch the peanuts thrown to them, which is very cute.

It forms a system with Qionghai Lake. The air on the mountain is better and there are more wild animals. It is recommended to climb the mountain in the morning and visit the Qionghai wetland system in the afternoon.

25 years ago, this was a small state-owned steel mill. 15 years ago, it became a joint-stock cooperative. The main shares were sold to private owners. The scale was greatly expanded. It was equipped with advanced equipment and technology at that time. It was very prosperous for a while and was profitable before it was stopped. This year, it was sold back to the state and stopped production in order to return a piece of clean land and blue sky. After the reform and update, it was actually in production for only 13 years. Everything has become a ruin. I think it must not be a good business.

Going up the stone steps, there are many monkeys along the way. Tourists are interested in teasing the monkeys and feeding them. I met an old lady at the Emei Railway Station. She said, "Are you going to Xichang?" The monkeys on Lushan Mountain in Xichang were transported from Baoguo Temple. We transported more than 2,000 monkeys. Hahahaha~~~

There is a very popular Guangfo Temple on the mountain. The locals are very religious and repeatedly told me to step in with my right foot when entering the temple, and to step in with my right foot when leaving the temple.
