Moshi Ancient Town is in a valley with valleys on both sides, which is a bit like a man blocking a pass. The ancient town is not big, probably only about one to two kilometers, a straight line with no other roads. What distinguishes the ancient town from other ancient towns is that there are not so many small commodities from Yiwu, and it feels more local. The yogurt in the ancient town is worth a try. There is also a bar decorated with beer bottles in the ancient town, which is very suitable for taking pictures.

The ancient town is not big, with only one old street of Baiyumi. You can visit all of Moshi in less than half an hour by walking and stopping here and there.

There are many interesting gadgets on the streets of the ancient town. You can stop and walk slowly to appreciate them. It is a leisurely lifestyle different from the hustle and bustle of the city.

There are charcoal-roasted potatoes on the street. The shuttle bus from Chengdu to Moshi took more than 5 hours. The ancient town is not big, but it has a complete set of banks, restaurants, accommodation, pharmacies, supermarkets, etc. The old street is very flavorful, and the bluestone road is simple and honest. There are many distinctive folk music bars and shops selling local specialty ox horn combs around both sides of the Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings. The Catholic Church is also located down the old street. There are performances at the Changzheng Hotel in the evening. There are many talented Tibetans. The young man sings deeply and the beautiful women dance vigorously! The super primitive Moshi roast chicken is very flavorful. I heard that yak yogurt is also delicious😋 It’s a pity that I didn’t try it

I recommend only one bar in the ancient street! The name is arbitrary and the slogan is shocking. The main thing is that the boss is super nice! We woke up in the quiet ancient town of Moxi. After the rain, the mountains were misty and you could see snow-capped mountains if you were lucky. After breakfast, we strolled along the streets lined with wooden houses and the mountains at the end of the streets. Moshi Ancient Town is an ancient town with historical and cultural heritage. It is 1,580 meters above sea level and is the place where many people who come to Hailuogou will choose to stay. Moxi Ancient Town is actually a transit town at the entrance of Hailuogou Scenic Area. Most people who visit Hailuogou choose to stay here. The town is quite prosperous, with fresh air and snow-capped mountains in the distance. It is a good place to cool off. You don't need to arrange time to visit here, just stay one night if you pass by.

Moshi Ancient Town is very comfortable, with plenty of food to eat and hot springs to soak in. I think this town is the most pleasant place along the Western Sichuan Ring Road. You can go out and stroll around the town at night, it is quite lively.

There is not much to do, the town has a nice night view and is quiet!

Compared with Pingyao Ancient Town and Dayan Ancient Town, it is not as commercial, things are not expensive, there is no entrance fee, and it is worth a visit.

I personally think that there is a bar called March Tavern next to the Catholic Church, which is quite interesting. The style is completely different from other bars on the ancient street. It is not so noisy, and it does not provide karaoke. It just allows you to listen to music and drink quietly. The interior space of the tavern, the garden, and the wine itself are all quite stylish. We sat in the yard at night. It was small and exquisite. You can see the starry sky and invite the boss to play games together. Hahaha, it is quite suitable for killing time at night. In short, it is not bad. If I go again next time, I plan to go to March Tavern to sit! 😉😉

Different from the heavy-colored bar style on the street, the phrase "Ten Miles of Spring Breeze on Yangzhou Road, Rolling Up the Pearl Curtain Is Not as Good as You" popped into my mind. I picked up the camera and the boss warmly invited me to take pictures. Walking through the aisle, I felt like I had strayed into a paradise. The quaint little windows were hidden between the bamboo fences, and the deep blue sky was filled with large white clouds. I decisively chose to sit down in the courtyard. The tea menu was very literary and the wine menu was very trendy. Have a cup of Kung Fu tea and be in a daze. Have a Chinese cocktail for a long aftertaste.

Moshi Ancient Town is very small. You can travel around the whole town in two hours. What's interesting is that there are only three roads, called the first ring road, the second ring road, and the third ring road. It's like Shanghai. The old street in Moshi Ancient Town is quite lively, with many bars and shops, but it is quite far from the Hailuogou Visitor Center (ticket office and scenic area bus entrance), about 1KM on foot. If you want to be closer to the visitor center, you can stay near the church.



Accommodation in Moshi Ancient Town is relatively affordable. Even during the Spring Festival, there are still inns that cost dozens of yuan per room. Of course, there are also hotels that cost thousands of yuan. It depends on your personal preference. Of course, the cheaper ones have relatively worse conditions and are farther from the tourist center. But in general, as long as you live in the ancient town, basically every place is within 20 to 30 minutes' walk.
