Shuangqiao Qingyin

[Shuangqiao Qingyin] is located under Qingyin Pavilion

There is a Niu Xin Stone between the two rivers. On the stone stands a Niu Xin Pavilion. On each side of the pavilion is an arch bridge that spans the two rivers.

The "black and white" rivers converge at the foot of Niuxin Pavilion:

The black water on the right originates from the Black Dragon Pool under Jiulao Cave, flows around Hongchunping, and flows for 15 kilometers. Its water color is like dark blue, and it is also called Heilongjiang River.

The white water on the left originates from the Sancha River at the foot of Gongbei Mountain, flows around Wannian Temple, and flows for 15 kilometers. The water is white and is also known as the Bailong River.

Twin Bridges Qingyin is one of the ten traditional scenic spots of Mount Emei. The surging Black and White Rivers flow through the gorge and merge into the pool in front of the Niuxin Pavilion. The mountains are high and the valley is deep, and the two rivers cascade down, creating a thrilling sound. Pavilions, terraces, and small bridges nestle against the mountains and water, skillfully blending natural landscapes with man-made scenery to create a stunning spectacle.

It is a small scenic spot halfway up the mountain, next to Qingyin Pavilion. You can hear the sound of gurgling streams, so it is called Qingyin.

One of the ten major scenic spots in Mount Emei, the sound of spring water in the pavilion on the bridge is like the melodious sound of a musical instrument. Being in this quiet environment gives people a feeling of being in a fairyland.

Located in front of Qingyin Pavilion, there are two ancient bridges built on the stream that divides it into two.

Its name clearly explains its beauty. The twin bridges span two rivers, one black and one white, where the waters meet and collide, creating a clear sound of flowing springs. Because there were so many tourists, we chose to quickly pass by and continue on.

Mount Emei has unique scenery, but it is very tiring to finish the day!

Walking from Wannian Temple to Qingyin Pavilion feels different, like arriving in a place with mountains and water. I think this place is more suitable for living and summer vacation. The best thing is that it is located in the low mountain area and the roads are flat. There are many places for leisure and entertainment here.

The two pavilions, Jieyu and Niuxin, with red eaves and red pillars, have a stone bridge on each side, spanning over the black and white waters, shaped like two wings, hence the name Shuangfei Bridge.

I went there in the summer. The natural environment is very good, but the surrounding public facilities need to be improved.

Shuangqiao Qingyin is one of the eight scenic spots in Mount Emei. People usually pass by here when climbing Mount Emei. It is truly a picturesque place with clear water and green mountains, high vegetation coverage, and good air. It is well worth a visit.

The essence of Mount Emei Scenic Area is the Twin Bridges.

I went there during summer vacation. It took an hour to walk from Wuxiangang Station to the destination. It was crowded and the scenery was very ordinary. There was a smell of urine, probably because there was no toilet on the road.

The atmosphere on the mountain is much better than at the foot of the mountain. It's very comfortable.

It is very quiet, with few people climbing the mountain. The surrounding trees are lush and green, and the stream flows under the double bridges. The only sound in your ears is the gurgling water.

Early morning is nearly deserted, perfect for quiet listening to the water and taking leisurely photos. In the center stands Niuxin Stone, named for its resemblance to an ox's heart. Atop the stone is the Niuxin Pavilion. On either side of the pavilion are stone bridges, each spanning the Black and White Rivers, resembling wings, hence the name Shuangfei Bridge. In the foreground, the Black and White Rivers converge beneath the Niuxin Pavilion. The Black River on the right originates from the Black Dragon Pond beneath Jiulao Cave and flows around Hongchunping for 15 kilometers. Its waters are a brilliant black, earning it the nickname Heilongjiang. The White River on the left originates from the Sancha River beneath Gongbei Mountain and flows around Wannian Temple for 15 kilometers. Its waters are a pale white, earning it the nickname Bailongjiang.

Why is this place called "Twin Bridges Clear Sound"? Because here, all year round, regardless of day or night, the whole mountain is filled with the sound of water. This sound is simple and clear, and together with the two bridges, it is named "Twin Bridges Clear Sound" and has become one of the ten scenic spots of Mount Emei.

"Double Bridges of Pure Sound," one of the ten scenic spots of Mount Emei, features a stone bridge on either side of Niuxin Pavilion, spanning the Black and White Rivers. Resembling wings, they give the name "Double Flying Bridges." Sitting in the pavilion, you can gaze upon the valley stream, hear the roar of water, and bees and butterflies flutter about you. The intertwining landscape of mountains and rivers, the contrast of red and green, the fragrance of exotic flowers and plants, the gurgling stream through the forest, and the looming pavilions and terraces, it's no wonder some call Qingyin Pavilion "the most scenic spot on Mount Emei."

Qingyin Pavilion, situated at the heart of Mount Emei's ascent and descent, is known alongside Longmen Cave as "the twin wonders of water." Facing the Pavilion, a vibrant, verdant landscape unfolds. You can witness the beauty of the mountains and waters, smell the fragrance of flowers and plants, hear the melody of flowing springs, and touch the pavilions, terraces, and stone tablets. It combines visual, auditory, and olfactory beauty, offering visitors a comprehensive aesthetic experience of the Emei landscape. Visitors throughout history have hailed it as "the premier scenic spot on Mount Emei." A visit to Mount Emei is a must-do.

The sound of water echoes in front of Qingyin Pavilion all year round, day and night. The sound of water is simple and clear, and with the two bridges, it is known as "Double Bridge Qingyin" and has become one of the ten scenic spots of Emei Mountain.

This is the place where I think the scenery of Mount Emei is the best, especially in the morning when there are not many people.

It is only 1.5 km away from Wuxiangang Bus Station and can be reached on foot.

About 100 meters down the mountain from Qingyin Pavilion, you will reach Shuangqiao Qingyin, where the mountain spring water converges. Further downstream is a lake.

"Double Bridges and Clear Sounds" is one of the ten scenic spots of Old Emei Mountain. Located at the Qingyin Pavilion, it leads to Yixiantian (One Line Sky) and the ecological monkey area on the left, and Wannian Temple on the right. There are two small waterfalls on either side of this area, known as the Black and White Dragon Beach. Because it is located in the Zhongshan District, many tourists rest and eat here. The water here is also very cool and is a great place to play in the water.

It is a good place to calm down and cultivate your spirit, with small bridges, flowing water, winding paths and quiet souls.

There is a bridge leading to Qingyin Pavilion. In ancient times, men walked on the left and women walked on the right, but now you can walk on either side. It is also the starting point for another way to go up the mountain.

Shuangqiao Guanyin is like the ID photo of Mount Emei. This year, with some snowflakes, it looks like a touch of light makeup.

The scenery and air in Shuangqiao Qingyin Mountain are great.

I like listening to music at Shuangqiao, which fits my fantasy of the world of martial arts. If there is a master sitting in Niuxin Pavilion, playing the piano with the sound of flowing water, what a beautiful picture it would be.

Qingyin Pavilion is probably the most beautiful scenic spot in Mount Emei, but unfortunately my camera ran out of battery.

During the Ming Dynasty, the renowned Jiazhou scholar An Pan visited the pavilion and was so captivated that he penned a seven-character quatrain, "Farewell to Shuangfei": "Rain and frost soak through my linen clothes, birds cry in the mountains, and I sit in meditation, forgetting to return. South of the city, I rest my head on a pine tree, the moon in my dreams, and the sound of waves brings me soaring." Beneath Shuangfei Pavilion lies a stele inscribed with the four characters "Eternal Clear Sound" by a Ming Dynasty poet. Qing Dynasty poet Tan Zhongyue's travel poem, "Shuangqiao Qingyin," reads: "A clear sound emanates from the towering pavilion, as if a god were descending to play the zither. Standing at Shuangqiao and listening intently, one can clearly hear two streams swishing across the heart of an ox." Fushun poet Liu Guangdi, one of the "Six Gentlemen of the Wuxu Reform" in the late Qing Dynasty, aptly summarized the two bridges and one stone in the couplet now hanging on a pillar of Shuangfei Pavilion: "Double Bridges, Two Rainbow Shadows, Eternal One Cow's Heart." Lin Li, a modern poet, wrote a poem in praise of it: "The waters of Mount Emei have clear sounds, resounding through the Twin Bridges like a zither. The black and white rivers flow immovably, and the heart of an ox is the pillar that has stood firm for a thousand years." This picturesque scene is therefore known as "The Clear Sounds of Twin Bridges" and has become one of the ten scenic spots of Emei. It is known as the "Two Wonders of Water" together with Longmen Cave.

Small bridges, flowing water, and cool spring water.

Qingyin Pavilion, situated at the heart of Mount Emei's ascent and descent, is known alongside Longmen Cave as "the twin wonders of water." Facing the Pavilion, a vibrant green landscape unfolds, rich in vibrant colors and meticulously executed. High above, exquisitely designed pavilions command the view. In the center, the red-eavesed and red-pillared Jieyu and Niuxin Pavilions stand on either side, each spanning a black and white water, resembling a pair of wings, hence the name Shuangfei Bridge.

This is a fixed attraction for group tours. It is close to the Monkey Mountain parking lot and the fork in the east and west mountain routes, so it is very crowded!

It's at least 2 kilometers from the entrance of the scenic area to get there. It's quite far and the scenery is average.

Shuangqiao Qingyin, 710 meters above sea level, features the Phoenix Mouth in the center, crowned by the Niuxin Pavilion. Flanked by the ancient Song Dynasty Shuangfei Bridges, the right bridge leads to Guangfu Temple. Beneath the bridge flows the Heilong River, originating from the Black Dragon Pond in Jiulao Cave and flowing through Hongchunping and Baiyun Gorge. The left bridge leads to Wannian Temple, beneath which flows the Bailong River, originating from the Sancha River in Gongbei Mountain and flowing through Leidongping and around Wannian Temple. The Black and White Rivers are the main water systems in Mount Emei.

Below the Niuxin Pavilion, two rivers converge to form Baoxian Creek. At the confluence lies the Niuxin Stone, known as "the most unique stone in Emei Mountain," creating a wondrous scene of "black and white water washing the Niuxin Stone." The roaring waves crash against the rocks, their sound echoing through the deep valleys and forests, giving the creek its name, "Twin Bridges Clear Sound."

The name sounds like a paradise. But the scenery is really nice. Sitting in the pavilion here. Listening to the sound of water, it is very cool.

The name "Shuangqiao Qingyin" suggests a quiet and peaceful place. At the foot of the Emei Mountain Scenic Area, there are two semicircular stone arch bridges on either side of the pavilion, echoing each other. The stream flows beneath the bridges, and the bridges are shaded by green trees, giving it a Zen-like feeling. Even in summer, it is very cool here, and being there will make you forget your worries.

The vegetation is great, and there's the sound of water, it's peaceful and beautiful!



A journey for both body and soul!

There is a small place above the Qingyin Pavilion, with a pavilion and flowing water. It is a very beautiful place. Sitting in the pavilion, avoiding the drizzle or the scorching sun, and taking a rest for a while after a tiring journey, it is really a wonderful place.

Shuangqiao Qingyin is near Qingyin Pavilion. The lake there is clear, clean and transparent. There is a small temple. The surrounding mountains and rivers are beautiful, the nearby plants are rich, and the air has a high oxygen content. Walking further in, there are scenic spots such as Yixiantian and Monkey Mountain. There are also many small farmhouses near Qingyin Pavilion where you can taste authentic Emeishan cuisine. We ordered dishes such as snow konjac roast duck and stir-fried wild vegetables here. They were very authentic and delicious.

Below the Qingyin Pavilion, there is a very beautiful view. I saw some teachers and students sketching.

It is almost the starting point for the hike up Mount Emei, and is quite crowded with tourists.

We arrived at Qingyin Shuangqiao in one breath, took a short break and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The water here is particularly clear!

One of the classic attractions of Qingyin Pavilion, it is smaller than expected, but the water under the bridge is unexpectedly deep, with mist and fog, like a fairyland.

Then we arrived at Shuangqiao Qingyin. I hadn’t planned to come here when I arranged the itinerary, because a day and a half was only enough to go to the Golden Summit. But I ended up coming here. This is the uncertainty of travel, and this is what makes it fun.

The Twin Bridges Qingyin is another scenic spot on Mount Emei. Between the two bridges stands the Shuangfei Pavilion. Two clear streams flow beneath the bridges. At the confluence of the two streams, a large rock stands between them. The water crashes against the rock, making a loud noise and splashing waves. This is where the so-called "black and white water washes the ox heart" is said to have happened.

Shuangqiao Qingyin. There are many people at the intersection of several roads, so it is a good choice to sit down and rest for a while.

There are indeed many bridges, but more than two, and this is a gathering point for tourists to take photos.

Hanging on a pillar in Shuangfei Pavilion is a couplet written by Liu Guangdi, one of the "Six Gentlemen of the Wuxu Reform" in the late Qing Dynasty: "Double flying, two rainbow shadows, an eternal ox heart." Fushun poet Liu Guangdi also cleverly summarized the two bridges and one stone as: "Double bridges, two rainbow shadows, an eternal ox heart." This poetic and picturesque "Double Bridges Clear Sound" is one of the Ten Scenic Spots of Mount Emei.

Qingyin Pavilion is particularly artistic and is worthy of being the essence of Mount Emei. It is very close to Yitiantian and the monkey area.

Shuangqiao Qingyin, it is said that the Heilongjiang River originating from Jiulao Cave and the Bailongjiang River originating from Leidongping and flowing through Wannian Temple converge here. During the flood season, you can see the two rivers rushing and roaring, which is very shocking.

The clear sound of Shuangqiao is still as charming as ever, the black and white water wash the cow's heart, and the small bridge and flowing water look like a landscape painting.

The Twin Bridges of Emei Mountain are a famous scenic spot, known as the most beautiful place in the south of the Yangtze River. After visiting the monkey area and One Line Sky, you need to return the same way. The monkeys in the monkey area have been pampered and become naughty. It is an alternative option in the plan to go or not, depending on time. At present, I don’t have enough time to decide to continue the descent! !

Shuangqiao Qingyin, long time no see. Without the endless stream of people in the past, there is my searching in time, your desolate and lonely space, and then there is my miserable and sad life in the world.

There are not many scenic spots worth taking photos during the climb. Usually, there are trees, trees, trees, and the climb is boring. Only the top of the mountain has good views.
