Chengdu Longquan Huaguoshan Scenic Area is located in Longquanyi District in the east of Chengdu. It is the nationally famous "Huaguoshan" and the only "Hometown of Chinese Honey Peach" officially named by the State Council. It is known for its "flowers in all seasons and fragrant fruits in eight festivals".
Huaguoshan Scenic Area is rich in tourism resources, with dozens of scenic spots, including cultural landscapes such as the Monument of King Wen, the Tomb of King Xi of Shu, cliff sculptures, and Shijing Temple, as well as water recreation sites such as Longquan Lake, Shanmen Temple Reservoir, and Baigong Weir. The fruit tree area of the whole mountain is about 43 square kilometers, with more than 400 varieties of peaches, pears, grapes, etc., with a total of more than 10 million trees.
The hometown of peach blossoms is located in the Longquan Mountain Ecological Tourism Functional Zone in the eastern suburbs of Chengdu, a "modern pastoral city in the world". It is the core scenic spot of the Huaguo Mountain Scenic Area, a famous scenic spot in Sichuan. It is located in Shanquan Town, Longquanyi District. Every March, the peach blossoms are in full bloom, and the flowers are like brocade, attracting many tourists.

Last year, I was addicted to the TV series Three Lives Three Worlds, and I made an appointment with a few friends to go to the hometown of peach blossoms to take photos. We randomly found a farmhouse to have lunch. Every household has a large peach forest, so we can take as many photos as we want.
A perfect weekend would be to come to Taolin to take photos and have a meal of wood-fired chicken.
The scenery is beautiful... It is still shocking to see the pink all over the mountains when the peach blossoms are in full bloom.
But it was not developed very well and became very irregular.
The roads are crowded, there is no separation between pedestrians and vehicles, there are no reasonable sidewalks, street stalls are everywhere and not standardized, pedestrians run around at will, garbage can be seen everywhere, and food and drinks are priced at random.
Honestly, I feel that such a beautiful scenery has been wasted. To sum it up, it is a crowded farmhouse in the peach forest.
I hope those who go there will protect the environment and obey traffic rules.

It's not bad, but the mountain road is long and there are so many cars on the mountain! The bus is also crowded, and the flowers are not in full bloom yet...
I heard from the locals that when the flowers are in full bloom next week, there will be a sea of people! But the whole mountain will be pink 😏.
I arrived on March 5, 2016, and many of the peach trees were still buds. I'll go again next week if I have the chance.
I went there in 2014. I was alone. Unfortunately, most of the people who enjoyed the peach blossoms on the mountain were couples, relatives and friends. I was the only one who went there. Miraculously, I didn't know the way very well. Fortunately, I was not stupid. I asked people and found it. It is true that beautiful scenery can be viewed from a distance and not be played with. The peach blossoms in the distance are very nice. If you look closely, the environment is not very good. The environmental protection work is not strong, and there is a lot of garbage. I hope that tourists will cherish the scenic spot. Many photographers also come to take pictures of flowers. It is also very good to take detailed pictures. I went to the top of the mountain to see the scenery. The sea of peach blossoms is very good.
Actually... During the peach blossom season, you can see peach blossoms everywhere. You don’t have to go to this place (Huaguo Mountain////, what’s the name...) There are more peach blossoms in the Longquan direction (because that’s where peaches are produced in summer). You can see them everywhere... There are peach blossoms in the fields.
Every spring, the peach blossoms in Longquan are in full bloom, attracting many tourists from inside and outside the city. If you are just traveling to Chengdu, you have to choose the flowering period to see the peach blossoms. If you are a friend living in Chengdu, then when spring comes and flowers bloom, it is undoubtedly a wonderful life to go to Longquan, a beautiful place with mountains and rivers, to enjoy the flowers, drink tea and bask in the sun.
This time, I went to the hometown of peach blossoms, but I only saw flower buds. The mountain breeze was still chilly, and the shy buds had not yet bloomed.
Friends around Chengdu, if you want to see the peach blossoms, I suggest you go around March 20th to April 1st, and then go up the mountain next week to take pictures of the peach blossoms in full bloom.
Although there are many tourists, I believe the scenery is pleasant!

Chengdu Longquan Mountain, where peach blossoms bloom, is now collectively known as the hometown of peach blossoms. It is very lively in March when the peach blossoms are in full bloom. Usually, Longquan Mountain is also a good place for leisure and sightseeing.
