Let's talk about the benefits of being a single dog: your messy residence is often checked in by various girls, and it becomes a nostalgic Internet celebrity destination. Chengdu's "Yuanyang Building" is such a place. It used to be a dormitory for single faculty members of Sichuan University. The old and outdated walls, doors and windows, and the railings that will roll down if you lean on them too hard, are said to have the feel of Wong Kar-wai shooting old Hong Kong movies. The location is: No. 18 Hongwa Temple Street, Chengdu. There are still residents living normally inside, and takeaway guys are going up and down. At first glance, it is a place where single people live at home. To be honest, people who are not interested in photography skills will be very disappointed here. The smell is bad and the place is messy. It is really embarrassing to bring a girl and not take pictures.

Someone once commented that "this is a new world, an old Chengdu, a small Hong Kong, and a small besieged city". In fact, this place has no name. Because the building has two staircases facing each other, it was named Yuanyang Building. These two 7-story old houses look very much like Hong Kong in Wong Kar-wai's movies. No wonder it has instantly become a holy place for everyone to take photos and check in.

This was originally an old dormitory for the faculty and staff of Sichuan University, built around the 1960s. Today, due to the low rent, it has become a rental housing area for many migrant workers. Walking into Yuanyang Building is like traveling back to that era. The old and outdated doors and windows, the tattered and messy furniture, and the mottled and old walls, every mark of time tells passers-by an intriguing story.

Although this place has become a popular place for people to take photos and check in, Dong Ge still wants to remind everyone that there are still residents living normally here, so don't disturb their lives! In addition, since there are many mosquitoes here, remember to take precautions in advance. This building is located in the staff dormitory area, and you need to look carefully to find it.

Walking into the Yuanyang Building, a popular check-in spot in Chengdu, is like traveling through a time tunnel to the 1960s. The old and devastated buildings, broken doors and windows, and messy furniture are just like the scenes in Wong Kar-wai's movies. It is said that this place has long become a paradise for taking photos, and different stories are played out on each floor every day...

The so-called Yuanyang Building was just the staff dormitory of Sichuan University in the past. Looking back now, it is just an old building. It was named Yuanyang Building only because of its two staircases facing each other.

Today, Yuanyang Building is still where many old Chengdu people live. Most of the people who go there to take pictures are young people. I stayed there for 20 minutes and saw many people carrying SLR cameras to take pictures. The public kitchen, old stairs, and densely packed clothes drying on the rooftop are very common scenes in the eyes of many people who have lived in old houses. However, such homely and old scenes dramatically attract many young people, including me.

Located near Hongwasi Street, it is easy to get there by following the map. It is actually the style of the old family quarters of state-owned factories. It has a strong atmosphere of life and is a bit messy, but it has the atmosphere of life and vicissitudes brought by the old buildings. It is actually quite nice to take pictures. It is recommended not to disturb the lives of the locals too much. After all, tourists go there to check in, and the residents live there

It's not a good place to shoot.

It is the old family quarters.

It looks a bit like the workers' village in Tiexi, Shenyang

It's not hard to find

I asked a courier boy

But the road is under construction and it's a bit bumpy

There are quite a lot of people taking photos

They are all quietly forming shapes

Residents are no longer surprised

Stir-frying

Laundry service

Wearing the wrong clothes

No film released

The Yuanyang Building is actually two buildings facing each other, connected by curved stairs on both sides, which looks like the building scenes in Hong Kong movies. In fact, I have no impression of such scenes in Hong Kong movies. I just came here to check in. It is still very touching to come here. The Yuanyang Building is not as beautiful as imagined. In fact, it is still a bit shabby. It is hard to imagine that such an old community still exists in such a prosperous urban circle today. It is a bit like the life scene in the 1970s and 1980s. It is a bit sad to see. In fact, there are still many people living here. In addition to some local elderly people, there are also many foreign tenants. Some comments seen on the Internet say that many people come to the Yuanyang Building to take pictures, breaking the original tranquility here. As visitors, we only need to come quietly and leave quietly. The rooftops are covered with weeds and trees. The buildings are empty and look a bit desolate. However, some rooms are still inhabited. If you think about it, this is also a very wonderful urban phenomenon. Standing on a high floor and looking down, you can see the different living conditions on each floor. The Yuanyang Building, see the various aspects of life in Chengdu. The symmetrical architecture and the beauty of the design are the reasons why it is called an Internet celebrity. If it is a check-in spot for Internet celebrities, it is more because of the strong atmosphere of human life that attracts me. I like to sit in the corridor and watch people coming and going. I don’t have to think about anything, just watch.

Every city is undergoing massive construction, but Chengdu has preserved a large number of original urban areas in its own way. The Yuanyang Building in Hongwa Temple is one of them. The first time I saw this real old building in front of me, I was really shocked. It seemed that even the air was filled with an old rusty smell. Two 7-story old houses were combined into a small walled city. The inside and outside of the city are two completely different worlds. One side is full of the fireworks of urban trends, and the other side is the old times hidden in the corner.

Yuanyang Building is a special existence among those buildings on the verge of "death". Because of its strong sense of age and the conflict with the modern city, it has become a popular photo spot in Chengdu. We are also one of the tourists who come here to hunt for novelties. Yuanyang Building actually has no name. Because this building has two staircases standing opposite each other, people gave it the name: Yuanyang Building.

Since Yuanyang Tower is not a tourist attraction, there is no signboard, so the process of finding it was a bit tortuous. In the end, we followed the trendy young people who were out of tune with this old city and found Yuanyang Tower hidden deep in the Hongwa Temple residential area.

Just the words "Hongwasi Yuanyanglou" look like the old Hong Kong in Wong Kar-wai's movies. There are folding stairs on both sides of the two old houses. Each staircase is divided into two directions, left and right, leading to the residents on both sides. The crisscrossing stairs and the vicissitudes of life make this house look like an old widow, full of infinite mystery.

From the moment you walk into Yuanyang Building, it feels like you are on a time train, traveling through a time tunnel and arriving in the 1960s. The old and devastated buildings, broken doors and windows, messy furniture... Only the Mobikes parked downstairs will bring you back to the present. This was originally the old dormitory for faculty and staff of Sichuan University, built in the 1960s and 1970s. Today, this place has become a small rental housing paradise with low rental prices. Now many young people, migrant workers, and left-behind elderly people live here.

In addition to tourists like us, there are also local photographers who bring guests to take photos, wedding photos, and even cosplay. People in all kinds of strange costumes squeezed into the narrow corridor... In the corner, the resident aunt was busy cooking without paying attention. When the aroma of the food quickly drifted to the corridor, I couldn't help but sigh in my heart that this is really a magical place.

Yuanyang Tower, this photo-taking location hyped up by photographers, really makes me interested. I hope to witness the retro-feeling scenes in person.

Take Exit D of Moziqiao Subway Station, walk toward Sichuan University, pass the red house number at the school gate, and continue east.

But it was really difficult for me to find the legendary old building in this small area. I walked around twice but couldn't find it.

Just when I was about to give up, after careful comparison, I finally found it in a corner!

If you still can't find it, please go back to the entrance of No. 18 Hongwasi Street and search in the community according to the following tips:

Turn left at the first entrance, then turn left again at the next entrance, and turn right at the end!

Yuanyang Building actually has no name. The two staircases facing each other and the old buildings on both sides form a small patio, which looks very much like the buildings in old Hong Kong movies.

This place used to be a dormitory for teachers and staff of a nearby school in the 1980s. Chengdu's rapid development seems to have forgotten this place. Even though high-rise buildings are springing up outside, this secluded corner remains unchanged with its strong nostalgic feelings and remains the same as it was in the past.

This place preserves the memories of old Chengdu and witnesses every detail of a city's growth from small to large.

Taking a tour of the old building, one feels as if time and space have shifted around, with everything carrying a sense of age.

There are mottled traces of vicissitudes of life everywhere, but also a strong breath of life.

There are still many residents here. They go up and down, come and go, and seem to have become accustomed to outsiders coming to take pictures and record their homes.

Yes, no matter how we outsiders see it, this is their home.

Therefore, I don’t want to describe this place as “shabby” throughout the description, because everyone likes to have outsiders as guests, but no one likes others to say that their home is shabby.

In my opinion, home is the place where people feel warm inside and care about each other, and it has nothing to do with material things.

According to some reports, a lot of people came here to check in and take photos some time ago, causing considerable trouble to the residents of the community.

Here is an appeal to everyone, please maintain a responsible travel attitude——

1. Travel quietly near Yuanyang Building, do not make noise, and do not disturb the lives of local people;

2. Do not bring tripods or other equipment. There are many elderly people coming and going here. Please do not make things inconvenient for yourself and make things difficult for others!

At least, in my opinion, the residents here are very friendly. When I pass by quietly and our eyes meet, I always get a knowing smile.

By Young Heart Journey |

When you first come across Yuanyang Building, it is hard to imagine that there is such a place in modern Chengdu. It can basically be described as "dirty, messy and poor", with shabby doors and windows, randomly hanging clothes, and messy sundries everywhere. But when you stand downstairs and look up, you will find that this kind of mess is also a kind of art, and you can also see the shadow of the densely built residential areas of old Hong Kong.

This is the earliest place where Chengdu people lived. Coming here is like traveling back to the 1970s and 1980s, giving people an unreal feeling, but it is this feeling that has become a creative base in the eyes of photographers. This place is very suitable for shooting emotional and nostalgic films, so no matter when you come, you can see photographers and models taking pictures here.

But the problem of too many people also arises. In fact, the visitors have disturbed the originally quiet life of the residents here. Some residents complained that their things were placed randomly, and some people who worked night shifts and slept during the day were also affected by the hustle and bustle. Residents even posted signs prohibiting photography, but it seemed that they could not resist the enthusiasm of the visitors. There are no management personnel in the community, so there are not too many restrictions on outsiders.

So whether you are visiting out of curiosity or want to come here to create, we must pay attention to our own civilized behavior, do not touch other people's things, do not litter, and do not make loud noises, which will bring adverse effects to the residents here. Think more about others and give others more respect.

The Yuanyang Building, located at No. 18 Hongwasi Street, actually has no name. Because the two buildings have two shared staircases standing opposite each other, people affectionately named it: Yuanyang Building. We arrived here around 3 pm. In addition to those of us who were attracted to check in, there were also takeaway guys who climbed the stairs several times. Walking into the Yuanyang Building is like taking a time train, traveling through the time tunnel and arriving in the 1970s and 1980s. The old and devastated buildings are visible at a glance, with broken doors and windows, messy furniture...

The crisscrossing stairs and the vicissitudes of life in the building make this house look like an old widow, full of infinite mystery.

The stoves are placed outside on the balcony, and everyone can see each other while cooking, just like the neighbors in the movies, laughing and joking together, living together! The mottled walls, old stairs, and crumbling are not sure how long they can last. After all, not every old building and alley is as lucky as Kuanzhai Alley, which can easily survive in the world.

For most outsiders, this place may not be very famous, but for people who like photography, it is really popular. Originally, this was the old dormitory for the faculty and staff of Sichuan University, built in the 1960s and 1970s. Today, this place has become a small rental house world, where the rent is low, and many young people and migrant workers live here. In fact, it has no name, because this building has two opposite staircases, so people affectionately named it: Yuanyang Building. These two 7-story old houses have repeated stairs on both sides. Each staircase is divided into left and right directions leading to the residents on both sides. The criss-crossing stairs in the building and the vicissitudes of life that can be seen at a glance make this house like an old widow, full of infinite mystery. This place is not big, but it is very suitable for taking pictures. More and more people come here to take pictures. It may become a celebrity check-in place in the future.

The old building looks like a filming location in old Hong Kong movies.

A staircase, built in the 1960s and 1970s, used to be a dormitory for faculty and staff, but now it has become a cheap rental house. If you have the chance to come here, remember to keep quiet and don't disturb the rest of the residents. When we arrived, some people had already taken pictures here. The broken doors and windows, the rusty iron guardrails, everything is so harmonious in this metropolis of Chengdu, with a historical flavor like in the movies. I hope this place can be preserved forever. After all, there are not many buildings like this in the city that store the life memories of a generation.

Standing at the bottom of Yuanyang Tower, I felt a little dazed. Is this Chengdu?

Because the light was not very good at night, we searched for several times before we finally found the Yuanyang Tower.

Tips: There is no exact location of the building on the map. Even if you walk to a residential area 300 meters away from it and ask, "Excuse me, where is Yuanyang Building?" the answer you will probably get is, "Sorry, I don't know." In fact, it is located at No. 18 Hongwasi Street, just go in through the big iron gate and turn left.

Just the words "Hongwa Temple Yuanyang Building" remind you of the old Hong Kong in Wong Kar-wai's movies, with criss-crossing staircases and a history that can be seen at a glance. It's like taking a time train to the 1960s. There is a story behind every door.

Some shabby doors and dusty walkways

By YIYI Notes |

The Yuanyang Building in Hongwa Temple is probably the best interpretation of the feelings of old Chengdu, and it still retains the intact appearance of old Chengdu. It may be a mark of an era, and a secret garden in your heart and mine.

The mottled traces on the old building are the best marks of the baptism of time. Each trace has its own story. Touching it, you can still feel its original scene.

The small shop with old-fashioned brick walls is like a place I remember from my childhood. Whenever I passed by, I would look inside.

The staircases connecting the two buildings are crisscrossed, which looks like a pair of mandarin ducks crossing each other. The original name of the Mandarin Duck Building may have come from this, which is very similar to the old Hong Kong in Wong Kar-wai's movies.

Few people live upstairs now, and it looks a bit shabby. But it is still the building in my memory, and it has not changed at all. So when you go to take pictures, don't make loud noises and disturb the lives of the locals. The room is old and shabby, but it is a home. With a home, it is a warm place.

How can an old house built in the 1970s and 1980s become a popular check-in spot among young people?

This is Yuanyang Tower

It is a very ordinary gate. When you enter, you are in the 1970s and 1980s, while when you leave, you are in the bustling and noisy modern city. It is both dreamy and real.

"Yuanyang Building" is two independent buildings, each with 6 floors, and there are more than a dozen households on each floor.

The corridor is an external corridor with iron railings. There is a staircase at each end of the building, connecting the two buildings together and forming a whole. The staircase is in a Z shape, going up and down floors, turning and moving forward.

If you come here, you will definitely see local residents wearing simple clothes and fashionistas wearing fashionable and retro clothes. There are contrasts and comparisons, which can't help but make people feel the passage of time, but the memories of the older generation can never be erased~

By Chen Zhaomin |

Yuanyang Building! Hahaha that's interesting

The places where people are tired of living are the places they yearn for.

By Go with a backpack |

Before I went to Chengdu, I had heard about the Yuanyang Building at No. 18 Hongwasi Street in Chengdu. There were also frequent articles about it on the Internet. It was originally a building built in the 1970s. It was originally a dormitory for teachers and staff of Sichuan Conservatory of Music. Because the staircases of the two buildings are opposite, each staircase is divided into two directions, leading to the left and right buildings respectively. Because they are in pairs, they are fondly called "Yuanyang Building" by many netizens. Another saying is that in the 1970s, the school built this building to solve the housing problem of young faculty and staff, and allocated it to those who are married with children, or those who are planning to get married and prepare to have children.

Looking at these two buildings, I feel as if I am in the "slum" in the Hong Kong movie "Kung Fu". There are two households on one balcony. Behind the door is a small suite, and the kitchens are all outside. I can imagine the scene of everyone cooking on the balcony in the past, with the fragrance overflowing. When it's time to eat, you can go to someone's house to have a hot meal. The broken doors and windows, rusty iron bars, in this old building that seems full of vicissitudes, each window has its own story, which contains sadness, struggle, warmth and love.

Places that have been ravaged by time are naturally suitable for filming dramas and retro photos. Friends who come here to take photos should try to dress simply and not too complicated in color matching. We hurried out without thinking about what clothes to wear to take good photos here, and came here with an urgent mood.

As one of the popular attractions in Chengdu, Yuanyang Tower attracts many people who come here to take photos. The navigation stops at No. 18 Hongwasi Street. After asking people nearby, we learned that Yuanyang Tower is in the courtyard. There are many people coming and going at the gate of the courtyard, most of whom are young people. In contrast, the people sitting on chairs chatting or playing cards in the courtyard are all elderly people. The location of Yuanyang Tower is not easy to find. We wandered around the courtyard for about 10 minutes but couldn't find it. Later, we found it by asking the elderly living here.

Little Hong Kong in Chengdu is a famous tourist attraction where many people come to take photos. Boys and girls come together to take photos, posing and pressing the shutter. The entire Yuanyang Building has become a photography base for the younger generation, and the old streets and corridors have become its unique landscape.

The crisscrossing stairs are in ruins, with broken doors and windows, messy furniture. The vicissitudes of life are like riding a time train, traveling through the time tunnel, and arriving in the 1960s. This place looks very much like the old Hong Kong in Wong Kar-wai's movies.

It is really nice to take pictures. The place is not easy to find. It is near Sichuan University. You can stop by the university. It is on Hongwasi Street. When searching for the address, you can search for No. 18 Gonghe Village or Jinshuiloutai. It is just behind Jinshuiloutai community. After entering Gonghe Village, in the west corner, you will find Yuanyang Building. It is a residential building that feels like a Hong Kong movie.

My favorite place on this trip. I am nostalgic. The old buildings and old objects make me feel at home. Walking into here is like traveling back to the 1960s. It's just that the handsome men and beautiful women on the stairs kept changing and taking pictures, and then they jumped out of the picture again.

By Yuzan |

When I saw Yuanyang Building, I was really moved. On the one hand, I finally found it, and on the other hand, this building is really unique. The house is completely symmetrical, with clearly visible outdoor stairs on the front and back sides, and old and narrow dormitories on the left and right sides. Time seems to have forgotten this place, and the feeling of the 1980s hit me instantly. The only thing that can pull me back to reality is the shared bicycles parked downstairs.

It was lunchtime when I went there, so I saw the residents cooking, and the atmosphere of life was very strong. However, many rooms were no longer occupied, some balconies were filled with debris, and some window glass was broken. I wondered if this place would be deserted in a few years, and if so, would Yuanyang Building lose its reason for existence?

Yuanyang Building is actually an old house without a name. It was built in the 1960s and 1970s. The unique beauty of the staircases gave it the Internet celebrity name "Yuanyang Building". The address is not easy to find. You can search for "Jinshuiloutai" next to it in the navigation. After you arrive, you can walk a few steps and you will see No. 18 Hongwa Temple. Just ask the guard and you will know where Yuanyang Building is. In addition to Yuanyang Building, there are also some red houses in this old community, which are very beautiful for taking pictures.

As soon as you walk in, all you can see are broken doors and windows, messy furniture, and old stairs. You can feel the atmosphere of old Chengdu with every step. There are many tourists and cameramen coming up the stairs to take pictures. They come quietly and leave gently so as not to disturb this isolated old Chengdu.

By Enming's Travels and Photography |

The tangled wires and laundry hung out to dry in the building, the mottled handrails and window frames, and the stairs between the buildings seem messy, but they have a strong sense of the urban beauty of old Chengdu. No matter where you are in the building, every shot you take will be a retro photo.

However, since this is a residential building with many residents, you must respect the privacy of the residents and keep the photos quiet when taking photos here. This is the only way to preserve this great place for taking photos.

After searching around for a while and still couldn't find it, I found it after asking someone.

During this period, I met a group of people who also came to take pictures of the night scene.

These two buildings originally had no names.

But because there are two staggered staircases, it is named "Yuanyang Building".

Here, you can see the life of the old Chengdu city.

By Xiao Xueer |

The Yuanyang Building, located at No. 18 Hongwasi Street, actually has no name. Because the building has two staircases facing each other, people affectionately named it: Yuanyang Building. The words "Hongwasi Yuanyang Building" alone are very similar to the old Hong Kong in Wong Kar-wai's movies, and people can't help but want to go and see it when they hear the name.

These two 7-story old houses have winding staircases on both sides. Each staircase leads to the residents on both sides. The crisscrossing stairs and the vicissitudes of life that can be seen at a glance make this house look like an old widow, full of infinite mystery.

Walking into Yuanyang Building is like riding a time train, traveling through a time tunnel, and arriving in the 1960s. The old and devastated buildings, broken doors and windows, messy furniture... Only the yellow cars parked downstairs can bring you back to the present. Mottled walls, old stairs, Chaomei walked upstairs slowly, feeling the atmosphere of old Chengdu with every step, just like returning to childhood. Those joys were actually born in old houses like Yuanyang Building.

Behind every door, there is a story. This is their lifelong home. All the family's lifelong memories are stored here. Even though it is dilapidated, it is still as warm as before. So these two old houses are like a movie, carrying the many people's thoughts about the past and the good wishes of new and old tenants for their future lives.

Because of the precipitation and changes of the years, the milk boxes and telephones here have long lost their original appearance and are even covered with dust. But when you see all of this, it always brings back your memories of the past, because in the process of each of us growing up, there is always a period of time when we spend time with these items.

The lazy afternoon sun shines on the buildings, and the yellowed walls and mottled tiles echo a unique nostalgic tone. People who come here to take pictures are probably nostalgic people. I don't know how long this place can last. After all, not every old building and alley will be as lucky as Kuanzhai Alley. The Yuanyang Building, which has a black and white effect, is the first choice for photographers to create. It brings excitement and disturbance, so we come quietly and leave quietly, which is the greatest respect for the people here.

By Left Left |

This now popular photo-taking spot is a memory of thirty years. Located at No. 18 Hongwasi Street, it was built in the 1980s. It used to be a dormitory for many people, but now it has become a residence for middle-aged and elderly people. The house layout here is completely symmetrical, so it is named Yuanyang Building. To be honest, the living environment here is very ordinary, the area is small, the public area is relatively dirty, there is no kitchen and no balcony, and there is no better condition except that it can be guaranteed to be a shelter from the wind and rain. But such a place has become the favorite shooting place for many people. Perhaps there is a story about the past years here, which is the most representative of Chengdu. Today, this place can be regarded as a good place for Chengdu to make an appointment for shooting. The name of Yuanyang Building comes from the similarity of the buildings. The corridor that originally ran through it could not be crossed because it was full of debris. There are not too many people living here at present, but the atmosphere of life is still very strong. The old feeling is very suitable for shooting emotional films and retro articles. I came at the time when the hotel was full of oil smoke in the corridor. The air here was faintly filled with a greasy smell and full of fireworks. The place is full of traces of history, which makes people feel like they are in another world, as if they are taking us back to an almost forgotten time. It is hard to imagine how people here live every day, but in fact, I think they enjoy their lives very much. After this place became popular on the Internet, many people come here to take pictures every day. The locals have become accustomed to this situation, and watching photographers and models every day has become a kind of enjoyment.

The air here is not convective. It is very hot and stuffy in this small world. Sweat flows down my cheeks and my hair sticks to my face. This shooting environment is not good, but I like it very much. It looks like an old Hong Kong movie. The traces of time are written on it. This is a completely different world from what we usually see. One side is full of the fireworks of urban trends, and the other side is the old times hidden in the corner. Climbing up to the top of the house, you can see the old and devastated at a glance. Only the few yellow cars parked downstairs will pull you back to the present. Taking pictures here is more suitable for retro Hong Kong style. Generally, black is the main color, which can better highlight oneself and can perfectly blend with the style here. Everything that came from that era has an unparalleled charm, both objects and people.

This place has also been flooded with comments recently on the Internet. If you are interested, you can take a taxi directly to Hongwasi Street. Yuanyang Building is located in the community at No. 18 Hongwasi Street. It is recommended that friends from other places ask more questions when entering the community. In summer, there are more mosquitoes. It is recommended to bring mosquito repellent.

Most of the buildings in this community were built in the 1960s and 1970s, and most of the people living in them today are elderly people.

There are people taking photos on every floor

Yuanyang Building actually has no name. Because this building has two staircases facing each other, people affectionately named it: Yuanyang Building. This is the original appearance of old Chengdu. Originally, this was the old dormitory for faculty and staff of Sichuan University, built in the 1960s and 1970s. Now this place has become a small rental housing paradise, where the rental price is low, and now many young people and migrant workers live here.

Walking into Yuanyang Building is like riding on a time train, traveling through a time tunnel and arriving in the 1960s. The old and devastated buildings are visible at a glance, with broken doors and windows, messy furniture... Only the yellow cars parked downstairs can bring you back to reality.

Every item here has its own story

Arrive at the intersection of Hongwasi Street, go forward about 80 meters, and enter No. 18 (with a house number) on the left. This is an old residential area. The buildings are estimated to have been built in the 1980s. The Yuanyang Building is in a corner to the west. You will know it by asking. There are many photography enthusiasts visiting here every day. Since there are still a large number of residents in the building, you must not make loud noises when taking pictures to avoid disturbing others.

In a bustling city, there are always some forgotten corners. Yuanyang Building at No. 18 Hongwasi Street is such a place.

The Yuanyang Building in the 1980s seems like a world away, as if taking us back to the old days.

This is an old house, but it has the flavor of old Chengdu. It is only a ten-minute walk from the North Gate of Sichuan University.

If you like old buildings like me, you might as well come here for a visit. I personally think it has the flavor of old Chengdu.
