Haihe Bund Park is the largest leisure square in the coastal area, providing a vast space for people to relax and exercise.
At night, the square is decorated with various lights inside and outside, and bronze landscape sculptures of different styles are dotted in different parts of the square, which are of great viewing value.
You can feed pigeons in the park square and take a yacht tour on the Bund. It is a great place for leisure and entertainment.

The Bund, located on Tanggu Street in Tianjin's Binhai New Area, is the earliest project developed and completed along the Haihe River in Tianjin. It stretches from the Xinhua Road overpass in the east to the Yuehaiyuan high-rise residential complex in the west, Shanghai Road Jiefang Road commercial pedestrian street in the north, and borders the Haihe River in the south. Its plan is an irregular, trapezoidal strip.
The Bund boasts China's tallest and longest fountain, with its main jet reaching 170 meters high and stretching 360 meters from east to west. The fountain features 27 different water types and a unique "fire-spraying" effect.
It's across from my workplace and I see it being demolished and closed every day. Don't come over here.
Tianjin's Haihe River was once a residential area for foreigners, with a concentration of various foreign buildings, and the night view is very beautiful.
Haihe Bund Park is located on the bank of the Haihe River in Tanggu. It is suitable for a walk after dinner, but the scenery is still not comparable to the Bund in Shanghai.
In winter, many old men go fishing there, and winter swimming enthusiasts also go there to play.
The scenic area is now closed (under demolition). Haihe Bund Park is located on Shanghai Road in the Binhai New Area (Tanggu District) of Tianjin. It stretches approximately one kilometer from Yongjiu Street in the west (where the park entrance is located) to Xinhua Road in the east. The park is open to the public and free of charge. It features two iconic ship-shaped structures. Because of its proximity to the Haihe River, it also offers numerous water attractions. Almost all city buses pass through the park (101, 102, 103, 107, 108, 113, 124 (Tianjin-Qinhuangdao High-Speed Railway Line), 130, 133, 135, 136, 459, 459 (Hexi Line), 501, 502, 507, 515, 517, 518, 520, 617, 621, 833, 834, 844, 880, 931, 936, 937). That's quite a lot, considering it's centrally located in Tanggu District. The normal parking fee here is 5-10 yuan, depending on whether you are a local or out-of-towner. It is more expensive during holidays.
It's nice to go to the Bund Park to get some fresh air and relax.
It is the earliest project developed and completed along the Haihe River in Tianjin. The square is decorated with 10,000 sets of floodlights and landscape lights, and 19 groups of bronze landscape sculptures of various styles are dotted throughout the square, making it extremely ornamental.
I went there during the Mid-Autumn Festival. There were many people releasing Kongming lanterns at night.
Haihe Bund Park is worth a visit, with nice scenery and a wide view.
It was a nice day with a blue sky.
There are some more distinctive sculptures and a corridor of text development history. It must be nice to watch the sunset on a clear day.
There were a lot of people, and from time to time someone would ask if they wanted to take pictures or go to the beach. The entire Haihe Bund was filled with the smell of Changsha stinky tofu and smokers' cigarettes...
It feels pretty good. You can feed pigeons, take a boat, and enjoy the sea breeze. It's quite relaxing. The boat ride costs 40 yuan per person and takes about half an hour, which is quite long.
It's nice to take a walk after dinner, but it's not worth it if you run all the way here.
You can take a cruise 🚢, which takes 40 minutes and costs ¥80 per person. The scenery is pretty good.
It takes about two hours to get here from Nankai District. It's more like a sea-like river than a park - the Haihe River. Across the shore is the aquarium. There are boat trips from the pier, 30 yuan per person for about half an hour. There's also the Oriental Princess, 20 yuan per person, docked at the pier. It's a good place to take a quick tour.
I thought it would be more beautiful at night, but I needed a flashlight to light it up. It was pitch black and there was nothing to see. However, the hot sale next to it was quite lively.

He and I walked along the Haihe River and finally arrived at the Tianjin Eye. He often said that the Tianjin Eye was a pity.
The Haihe River is quite beautiful, but the small vendors and loud advertisements around it affect the atmosphere a bit.

Haihe Bund Park is a significant public welfare project in Tanggu District, dedicated to returning the river to its people. It is a modern urban landscape and economic zone integrating leisure, entertainment, shopping, and fine dining. It is a flagship project in Tianjin's comprehensive development of the Haihe River and a popular destination for residents to relax, shop, and have fun.

I went there just to see the Oriental Princess. The big ship is still very impressive.
It is a large square near the sea, and the building looks a bit like a grape trellis.
The night view may be even better. There are many supermarkets and snack bars outside the Bund Park. The sanitation is relatively poor. It is okay to take photos locally. There is no entrance fee, but parking is 20
Haihe Bund Park is located in eastern Tianjin, in the heart of the Binhai New Area. Haihe Bund is a riverside park along a stretch of the Haihe River, facing the bustling commercial district and numerous entertainment facilities and restaurants. Compared to its past, the park is now more desolate. While people still stroll there, they rarely shop there, leading to the closure of many businesses. While the park was once a pleasant urban park, offering a pleasant stroll along the Haihe River, it now feels a bit run-down and no longer functions as a city attraction.
It's worth a visit, but I didn't climb up, which is a little regrettable.
It's a bit like the Bund in Shanghai. The overall environment is pretty good, but the water isn't clear enough. There are many cruise ships on the sea and many anglers on the shore.
We took a boat and watched the Bund Park in Tianjin from the water.
Some small amusement facilities, Hunan stinky tofu is everywhere
The name sounded great, but it turned out to be just a prop for a movie set, and then it became a tourist attraction. Damn it husky 😕
The Bund Park is a public leisure park. It is sail-shaped on the outside and has no supporting facilities inside. I walked around it and it was very boring.
It's very open and looks good. When I went there the first day, there was no large-scale holiday yet, so it felt very comfortable. When I went there again the next day, I could only see people, haha.
The scenery was nice when I went there in the afternoon. The characteristic feature was the iconic building "Blue Sea Sails" and the "Oriental Princess" ship. Stephen Chow and Chow Yun-fat filmed the movie "God of Gamblers" on the ship. There is a 170-meter-long fountain in the middle of the river.
This open park offers no entrance fee. Surrounded by Polar Ocean World, Bohai Bay Sightseeing Cruises, and Dongjiang Beach Park, it's a perfect weekend getaway. The park is approximately one kilometer long, and a leisurely stroll, taking in the scenery along the riverbank, feels like time is slowly flowing by. Along the Haihe River, the wide pedestrian paths and European-style architecture create a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
The Bund at night is crowded during the National Day holiday, perhaps because there are fewer people in winter.
It's suitable for strolling and enjoying the bustle and customs here.
The Bund. I thought I could see the sea. But it's just like our river. In winter, the wind from the Haihe River is very cold.
Getting there from Tianjin takes over 40 minutes by subway and over an hour by bus. You'll need to change trains to get to Tanggu Station. Haihe Bund Park is quite scenic, with small amusement facilities and many people fishing. Facing the Haihe River, there are cruise ships and speedboats on both sides. I prefer speedboats, so I looked around. The one on the left is cheaper and seems to be shorter. The one on the right offers group buys, so I highly recommend it. It's quite crowded, and there's an underground shopping mall nearby, but the sanitation, order, and safety could be improved. Overall, it's worth a visit. There's a musical fountain directly opposite, but since I went during the day, it wasn't lit. I wonder if it would be active at night.
Tanggu Bund is a truly beautiful place. I came here mainly to see the fountains, which appear once a week. The wait was about half an hour. Seeing so many birds flying overhead, I became fascinated with bird photography. It was quite fun.
Tanggu Bund Park is an important public welfare project in Tanggu District that returns the river to the people. It was carefully designed by world-class masters and jointly developed by Tanggu Construction Committee and Hongda Industrial Development Co., Ltd. It is a modern urban landscape economic zone integrating leisure, entertainment, shopping and food. It is the leading project of Tianjin's comprehensive development of the Haihe River.
The Bund Park stretches approximately one kilometer from the commercial pedestrian street of Jiefang Road on Shanghai Road in the north to the Haihe River in the south. It covers an area of 130,000 square meters and is designed to be water-friendly and relaxing, demonstrating the confidence and resolve of the people of Tanggu in building a new waterfront city in accordance with the strategic plan of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to vigorously develop the Haihe River. Centrally located along the riverbank is China's largest river fountain, reaching 170 meters high. The Bund extension comprises four sections: a cultural and entertainment area, a commercial and leisure area, a green landscape area, and a high-rise landscape area, all connected by a wooden riverside pedestrian walkway. Furthermore, the Bund Park features three striking cantilevered structures, "Blue Sea Sails," standing 100 meters, 70 meters, and 50 meters tall, respectively, from west to east. These structures, resembling sailboats sailing the sea, complement the azure waters of the Haihe River beautifully. This promises a smooth and happy future for the people of Tanggu. Before the dragon boat race, the famous "Oriental Princess" cruise ship will also be stationed on the opposite bank of the Bund Park, echoing and complementing each other from afar.
The weather was still relatively cool, and there were fewer tourists. Across the Haihe River was Yujiabao, under construction. Plants along the wall were sprouting, turning green, budding, and finally blooming.
The Bund Park is located in the Tianjin Development Zone, which is the Tanggu District of the Binhai New Area. You can take Line 9 from the city center to get there. There are fountain shows on festival days, which are quite spectacular.
The Bund, cold and somewhat gray. A winter scene of twiggy trees. Strong winds, a dull blue sky. Backlight, wind, the river is about to freeze.
The Bund Plaza in Tanggu. The tall buildings in the background are the Yujiapu Financial District and Xiangluowan Business District, both under construction. The whale-like building across the river is Haichang Polar Ocean World.
The Princess was under renovation, so we couldn't go up. While the Bund Plaza was a bit messy, strolling slowly along the riverbank, feeling the breeze, was quite pleasant. My husband said the wind in Tianjin was so strong that you could feel the breath of spring. Upon arriving, we realized it was indeed true. The wind blew gently, seemingly turning the trees and flowers green and red. Unlike back home, where everyone was still wearing sweaters yesterday, today everyone's wearing T-shirts.
It's the same Bund, and it's also a municipality, but the feeling is different. The Bund in Tianjin's Tanggu district feels more like a large amusement park, devoid of any commercial functions. Various buildings are under construction on the other side, and while its future holds promise, it currently appears dilapidated. As for the other side of the road, T described it as reminiscent of a "Princess Tomb," it still feels like it did ten years ago.
It takes less than half an hour to take the light rail to Tanggu Bund Park. It is very close and cheap. The sky is very blue. There is not much to do, but there is a pedestrian street.
The sign looks a bit like a dinosaur's cervical vertebrae. The Hunan stinky tofu is advertised and works really well, but if it's not tasty or stinky, don't buy it! There's also a children's playground on the beach where little ones have a blast playing on the sand!
The Bund on the Haihe River has become a symbol of Tianjin, just like the Bund in Shanghai. Looking out from the railing, I felt a bit relaxed and happy, and I also took some photos of the night view.
There was a cool breeze on the Haihe River cruise, which made me feel very refreshed. I didn’t expect the Haihe River to be so vast, which was very impressive!
There weren't too many people on the boat, and they were generally well-behaved. The boat ride cost 60 yuan per trip, and took about 30 minutes round trip. The night view along the river was gorgeous!

The Bund Park didn't have many surprises, and it was still a long way from the real beach. After a quick look, I headed back to Tianjin Station and continued walking along the Haihe River.
After a satisfying meal and a few drinks, we wandered to the Bund Park. I've heard it's crowded, dirty, and boring during the day, but it's quite pleasant at night. Not many people are here, and the buildings along the road are all brightly lit. It feels peaceful amidst the bustle, oblivious to the grimy Haihe Estuary. The river breeze gives the illusion of being at sea. Like many others, I released a Kongming lantern. Watching the red lights rise like stars into the sky, my heart soars with them. "I want to walk like this forever, hand in hand with my precious child," I said to the lantern.
During the day, you can take a boat tour around the Bund of the Haihe River. In the morning and afternoon, you can also see the Sheng Bridge. At night, the night view is beautiful, and you can also visit the surrounding department stores.
Every time I go to Tianjin, I come to the Bund. It seems like a memory and the feeling is different every time.
This photo was taken at the Bund Park in Tianjin when I visited there in 2009. There are many sculptures like this in the park, which are very interesting.
The Bund was packed with people. The park is open and huge. I love the riverside; looking at the vast expanse of water makes me feel relaxed. We walked along the waterfront and boarded a random boat. It was said to be a 30-minute round trip. We sat on the second floor, which had a great view, but... the temperature was already low, and there was a wind on the second floor... We were freezing... After getting off the boat, we went to see the Oriental Princess cruise ship and took some selfies, haha. So happy! ~ I love Tanggu's Haihe Bund Park~
