Nankai University

On the last day of my trip to Tianjin, I naturally went to Nankai University, which I had admired for a long time. Unfortunately, I was turned away. So I left a "I was here" photo at the school gate and hurriedly changed my high-speed rail ticket to return to Beijing early.

Nankai University has a long history and this year marks its 100th anniversary. There are many sculptures to visit.

Nankai University is a must-visit when visiting Tianjin. The campus is very peaceful and comfortable, but I didn't stay there for long due to my tight schedule.

Nankai University, located near Balitai, was once a renowned institution of higher learning in China. The Nankai campus is quite large, and while it lacks any notable historical buildings, it is peaceful and has a pleasant atmosphere. There are tour buses available at the main entrance, and the Siyuan Hall is a unique architectural feature.

My cousin, classmate and I went to Tianjin together. The summer in Tianjin is really hot.

Nankai University, located at 94 Weijin Road, Nankai District, Tianjin, is one of the most prestigious universities in Tianjin and even in China. It was once considered one of China's four most prestigious universities, along with Tsinghua University, Peking University, and Fudan University. Nankai University's north gate mirrors the south gate of another renowned university, Tianjin University. A statue of Premier Zhou Enlai, a member of the first class of Nankai students, stands within the university.

The headquarters is located on the coast of Bohai Sea. The campus environment is fresh and you can visit, take photos, stroll, etc. It is very pleasant.

In the back square, there is the school bell, the symbol of Nankai spirit, as well as Premier Zhou’s inscription “I love Nankai” and a statue, which are all worth visiting.

To be honest, I went to Nankai purely to kill time, but I didn't expect the scenery to be so nice. Some of the old buildings are quite interesting, and the new buildings are also very distinctive.

Nankai University is also a famous university in China. The campus environment is very beautiful. It is great to study here.

I didn’t get to visit Nankai University last time I came here, so this time I took the opportunity of a business trip to visit Premier Zhou’s alma mater.

Statues of Premier Zhou Enlai can be seen everywhere on the Nanjing University campus. The most memorable part is Premier Zhou's words: "I love Nankai." Besides the statues, there's also a lotus pond on the campus, which is incredibly beautiful in the summer.

In Tianjin, where the weather is hottest, lotus flowers are still blooming in Nankai University, which is naturally a sign of its elegance and grace.

The campus was bustling with students on bicycles, and there were also numerous cars parked and passing by. It felt a bit chaotic, a stark contrast to my image of a prestigious university. Upon inquiry, I learned that this was the West District Apartments, with the main buildings still to the east. I continued east until I reached the stadium, turning right. Then, along a small river, I reached the tree-lined Dazhong Road. Heading south, I skirted the main building and arrived at the statue of Premier Zhou Enlai. I took a photo, finally concluding my visit to Nankai University.

Nankai University was as quiet as expected in the early morning, and the campus was not very stunning.

Nankai University is a good place to visit, but there's really not much to see, just a statue of Premier Zhou Enlai. It's more about its historical and cultural value. I didn't go to Tianjin University next door, but it's not far from the Tianta Tower and the Water Park. Also, Nankai University hides its name in a corner. Entering through another gate, I almost thought I'd entered some strange place. There seemed to be plenty of snacks, but it was closed.

A classmate of mine likes Nankai very much and told me to visit Nankai when I go to Tianjin.

Nankai is a place worth visiting, as it is an early Chinese institution of learning. There were bicycles scattered all over the place, but it was probably a holiday when I went there and no one cared.

The campus environment is very good. The scenery is beautiful and it is a large school.

The scenery of Nankai campus is nice. I suggest you go and see the buildings that were preserved by the Japanese devils and were not blown up by the Japanese. It might be a good idea to have lunch in the Expert Building/Pearl Garden.

My trip to Tianjin was a spur-of-the-moment decision. I didn't want to go out and crowd during National Day, but it felt like a waste not to go out during such a long holiday. So, I decided to spend half a day in Tianjin, partly because it was relatively less crowded, and partly because of Nankai University. I'd always wanted to visit Premier Zhou Enlai's alma mater. As soon as I entered the campus, there was a small electric car, sort of like a shuttle bus within the campus, not a sightseeing bus. It shuttled directly between the various campus gates. The fare was 1 or 2 yuan per person, I can't quite remember, but I took a ride around. The campus is quite large, and the faculty and staff dormitories are also located there. I think taking a car was a smart move; after all, walking all the way around with my parents would have been quite tiring.

Premier Zhou Enlai's alma mater has a rich cultural heritage. During the Spring Festival, the campus seemed a little deserted.

Many facilities are closed to visitors, which is understandable, but the outdoor courts are not allowed to enter, which is not open enough and not inclusive enough.

Nankai University is the highest ranked university in Tianjin. Anyone who wants to reminisce about the campus atmosphere when they come to Tianjin should go to Nankai University. When I went there, it was almost the New Year, and the river at the entrance was frozen three feet.

As a southern girl, visiting the north for the first time, Nanjing University and Tianjin University fulfilled all my imaginations about northern winter. The unique beauty of northern winter.

There are many places on campus where the road is being repaired. We went there early and had breakfast in the school's three canteens. You can get a temporary card, which is very cheap.

This is the worst 985 university I have ever seen, bar none! The frozen river on campus was shimmering with green light. The teaching buildings on campus are all guarded, and outsiders are not allowed to enter. I cried my eyes out when I wanted to go to the bathroom in the teaching building! It was so uncomfortable to hold it in. Who would have thought that in an open university, there are security guards at every door of the teaching building. I searched for tofu skin on Dianping.com, and it had a very high rating. The campus is there, and the snacks are there. I was full of confidence in looking for delicious food. I was so disappointed, there was nothing special. I feel that the ratings on Dianping.com are really not worth looking at now. Is there something shady going on in Dianping.com?

Nankai was a goal of mine when I was in high school. It is one of the few famous universities in the north besides Beijing. Of course, at that time, I was only interested in its reputation and the title of Premier Zhou’s alma mater. I didn’t know about the academic professional direction and expertise. Now I think that my young self really didn’t take this goal too seriously. It was really just a dream. But no matter what, this is the place I have been dreaming about for a few years. It’s nice to take the children to take a look and walk around. Like other universities, this place is also unguarded. There are even some cars stuck at the gate. The campus was relatively quiet during the National Day. I took a general picture, but I didn’t intend to walk around. After all, I came here because of sentiment. Once I got there, that’s enough. The unfinished goal can be buried deep in my memory.

I went there just in time for the seniors' graduation. Everywhere was filled with students taking graduation photos. The buildings were so densely packed, I got lost several times, not knowing where to go. It took me several turns before I finally made it out.

Nankai University and Tianjin University are adjacent to each other and are the two most famous universities in Tianjin. There is a statue of Premier Zhou Enlai at the south gate of Nankai University. In summer, the lotus flowers in Horseshoe Lake are in full bloom, and the scenery is beautiful!

I went to university, even though the trees were not green and the flowers were not red, but there was always a kind of feeling in school that made me unable to let go.

Many students from other schools come here to visit, and the old campus has basically become a scenic spot.

Nankai University is another university I've always admired. During the holidays, the campus was practically deserted and quite desolate. The student cafeteria was closed, so I ate at the nearby halal cafeteria, and the food was fantastic! There's a souvenir shop on campus with a truly extensive selection of stationery, office supplies, T-shirts, handicrafts, and more. The School of Arts was quite difficult to find; I had to ask the staff there to find out it was in the Fansun Building. The campus is quite large, so you can find it by following Baidu Maps. Overall, the campus is a bit dated, but it has a lot of charm.

I envy Nankai University for having a heated swimming pool. Swimming in 26-degree water in the winter must be fun. The old trees, still leafless, are also quite beautiful. I even saw a bus carrying students preparing for the postgraduate entrance exam while at Nankai University. Some were eating lunch, while others were resting and sleeping. Although I don't have family by my side and have to fight this exam on my own, I still have to keep trying.

That's all I know about Nankai University's first president, the educator Zhang Boling. ... Nankai University also formed Southwest Associated University, and was a major player there. A monument on campus commemorates this moment, a moment of both university history and national humiliation, as well as a testament to its unwavering self-improvement.

It is a beautiful university, filled with inscriptions by famous people. The one that impressed me the most was Cao Yu's words: "If you know China, you must know Nankai!"

The school is very big. Although not as big as Tsinghua University and Peking University, it is much bigger than our school (Beijing Institute of Technology)... There are campus buses in the school, which are small electric cars. Each car can seat about ten people. It departs from the South Gate and charges 1 yuan. Anyone can take it. There are two terminal stations: the East Gate of Weijin Road and the West Gate of Baidi Road. It passes by almost all the teaching buildings and dormitories of Nanjing University.

Premier Zhou also loved Nankai, and the towering one is just the right thing to do, giving a very decent feeling hahahaha.

I've lived in Nankai for three and a half years. Although the buildings here are a bit old and the scenery doesn't seem particularly beautiful, I still want to invite you to come and experience Jingye Square, ablaze with flowers in spring, Horseshoe Lake, filled with lotus fragrance in summer, the golden lover's trees in autumn, and the Premier's statue, the school bell and Zhang Ying, covered in snow in winter. Then, go and try Lao Wang's tofu skin in Xinan Village, Tianbai Tanghulu next door, and the unique canteens.

The scenery is just average, just like an ordinary university scene.

I received three days of training at Nankai University's EDP. Overall, I had a very good experience. The facilities at EDP are very good, with fruit snacks and tea provided during breaks. The entire school has a strong academic atmosphere, and the teachers are also very good. However, the quality of the several canteens varies greatly. I like the first canteen the most. I have tried the third canteen on the first and second floors, and I think they are all average.

Premier Zhou Enlai attended Nankai University for both middle school and university, forging a deep bond with the institution. Nankai also cultivated numerous outstanding talents for China. While its current status has declined significantly, it's still worth a visit to experience the rich educational atmosphere and glimpse into the past. Nankai University is located alongside Tianjin University, so interested parties can visit both.

Feel the school atmosphere. What impressed me most was that there was a fountain that reflected a rainbow due to its angle design. It was very unique.

I came to Nankai to remember Premier Zhou, but it's more than just that. Nankai people have their own unique pride. There's no ostentatious atmosphere here; everyone carries their own unique pride. The lotus flowers are in full bloom, the cicadas are still chirping, and the buildings on the university campus silently watch the students, professors, and tourists passing by, day after day, year after year.

Nankai University is quite large, with several exits. If it weren't for my friend from Tianjin showing me the way, I'd probably have wandered around inside, haha. There are lots of trees and a lotus pond. When my friend and I went there, there were still a lot of students on campus, some playing ball, some eating. It was quite lively. We went in with my friend without any formalities. Haha. There was a place inside that displayed what looked like some of my classmates' graduation projects. They were pretty good, worth a visit!

Tianjin University is next door, and the two schools are very close. There is no subway nearby, so the transportation is quite convenient.

The Horseshoe Lake at Nankai University is full of lotus flowers. Every time the lotus flowers bloom, it always attracts many people to take pictures. It is worth a visit!

The campus is quite large and the management is very strict. People from other schools are not allowed to enter the teaching building.

I entered Tianjin University from the back gate, but unexpectedly I went straight ahead and exited from the Nankai University gate.

The campus is very quiet. It's rose season now, with all sorts of colors in full bloom. It's beautiful! The food in the cafeteria is not cheap, but there are plenty of options on the second floor. Nankai University is Premier Zhou Enlai's alma mater.

When I was in high school, I really wanted to go to Nankai University, so when I came to Tianjin, I went to take a look. The school is quite big.

Nanjing University is very beautiful. I went to the cafeteria with my friends from the main campus to eat Sichuan food. It was delicious and brought back many of our stories in Chengdu.

Founded by Zhang Boling, an educator in the Republic of China, this university is a well-known institution of higher learning in China and even in the world. It perfectly blends Republican-era architecture with contemporary architecture and is a classic that is worth a visit.

Go check it out! Since you're in Tianjin, you have to experience the atmosphere of a well-established university. Even for someone like me who's been away from campus for a long time, walking around there still makes me miss my university life. It's really nice inside, with a great environment. It's right next to Tianjin University, and you can walk along the riverside trails. You'll see many students and backpackers along the way.

Chinese universities are just so-so, next to Tianjin University and Beiyang University, quite average, of course far inferior to Xiamen University and so on.

If you appreciate the desolate beauty of a deserted environment, definitely come during the holidays. I followed the classic campus route and bought a bunch of postcards at the souvenir shop. For those who yearn for Nankai University or have missed out on it, this is a great place to fulfill a little wish.

I didn't get in, so I came to see it. The scenery is nice. I wanted to go inside the classroom, but the security was too strict and wouldn't let me in without a student ID.

Nankai University is located on Weijin Road. The east gate is too simple, barely obscuring the colorful buildings, plants, and flowers in the courtyard. Most of what you see is a place with little resemblance to a "university," and the bustle of people is no different from a shantytown. The teaching buildings on campus are quite ordinary, one on the east side, another on the west. There's also a farmers' market, a bank, a post office, and restaurants and groceries scattered around, making the campus less tranquil and more cluttered. The Horseshoe Lake is overgrown with weeds, and the water is murky. There's no trace of the century-old Nankai University I imagined.
