Someone was so eager to see the aircraft carrier that they drove from Beijing, following the navigation system. Parking was 5 yuan per visit. Because the aircraft carrier is a decommissioned Russian aircraft carrier, the entire park has been renovated to resemble a Russian park. Many of the buildings, businesses, and performers are Russian. Admission requires a passport, which acts as a passport check-in. Entering Russia is quite fascinating, so keep your passport for a discount on your next visit. Of course, I think one visit is enough. The ticket price includes two photo sessions: one at the entrance and one in front of the aircraft carrier. The small one is free, while the large one costs 50 yuan. The small one is incredibly small; it's just a one-inch photo for your passport. We ended up getting the one in front of the aircraft carrier. You have to spend money when you're there, so if you buy one, get one in the front row; it's a great spot. The key recommendation is to time your visit well. We arrived around 12 noon and caught both performances. If you have a choice, make sure to see the 2:00 PM show "Carrier Storm." It only happens once a day and is definitely worth it! We also watched the 4pm race car show, which was certainly thrilling. With two shows like this, the ticket price was worth it, otherwise it would have been quite expensive at 220. The aircraft carrier itself can be visited by following the signs, with guided tours available for rental. Besides the Kiev, there are also submarines and warships to visit, but reservations are required. Also, the park is quite expensive, as is typical for theme parks like these.
It takes two hours to get there from Tianjin Railway Station, including a 40-minute walk, taking a shortcut. The 462 bus is nearly three kilometers (probably more) from the scenic area entrance, so I walked for 40 minutes. Once there, the entrance is 220 yuan for all tickets, with children paying half price. Inside, there's nothing much to see except an aircraft carrier, a submarine, and a destroyer. There are also several shows, so if you want to go, I recommend arriving at 10:00 AM to see the 10/40 dance, then visit the aircraft carrier, then the storm show. If you're willing to pay 30 yuan for round-trip transportation, then see the submarine and destroyer, and finally the racing stunts and the motorcade. Overall, a self-guided tour without a car would take a full day, and I don't think it's worth it. Besides the three places I mentioned, the entire area is just shopping.
The price is 220 yuan for adults, and children under 1.2 meters are free. We went on March 31st, and there was only the stunt show. The aircraft carrier storm didn't take place, nor did the cruise. This effectively reduced the amount of fun, but the price remained the same. The Russian-style town itself is also quite short, and aside from the buildings, it's quite desolate and deserted. There are many military-themed craft shops within the area, but the items aren't particularly unique and could be found on Taobao. The entrance fee is the same as your passport: 220 yuan for the first visit, 180 yuan for the second, and 150 yuan for the third. After that, you can get a green card and it's permanently free. I doubt most people would visit more than once. Besides the Kiev aircraft carrier, the Chongqing ship, decommissioned in 2014, and the Type 353 submarine are also included in the admission fee. However, the Chongqing ship and submarine are docked quite far apart, a claimed distance of 3.5 kilometers, making them walkable. Alternatively, you can take a sightseeing bus for 30 yuan round-trip per person (free for children under 1.2 meters). Children under 1.2 meters are not allowed on the submarine. Overall, a single visit is sufficient for children.
Converted from the aircraft carrier "Kiev", this is a must-see for military enthusiasts
There are also Chinese Navy Chongqing destroyer and No. 353 submarine for visitors to visit.
The entrance to the park is the Russian Cultural and Creative Street, which offers Russian food, Russian performances, etc.
There are also large-scale real-life naval battle performances based on real aircraft carriers - aircraft carrier storms, car stunts, float parades, etc.
The park is huge, so you absolutely have to take a bus to the innermost entrance. Upon entering, you'll find a Russian-style street, not crowded. At 12:00 PM, we were just in time to see a stunt show. The director and actors were mostly foreigners. They showed a clip of the finished film, then randomly selected a lucky audience member to participate in the filming. The show involved a lot of racing, drifting, fighting, shooting, and fireworks—it was very creative and thrilling. The 220 yuan ticket was almost worth half of it, hahaha.
Because the aircraft carrier is at the seaside, the wind is a bit strong, and the space inside the aircraft carrier is a bit small. Young children may not like it and feel inconvenient, so the younger brother was ruthlessly left in the hotel. I took my older brother to set off. We arrived at ten in the morning, thinking that after touring the aircraft carrier, we would watch the 12 o'clock car roller show. As a result, we underestimated the children's love for stairs and twists and turns. We played on the aircraft carrier for three hours and didn't come out, so we missed the car roller show. I will come here with some regrets next time. The ticket is very special, like a passport, 220 yuan per person, with two photo spots inside, one at the entrance and the other in front of the aircraft carrier. Basically, no one wants photos at the door because the aircraft carrier is leaving. It's 50 yuan per photo, and they will take a one-inch small photo of each person's face to stick on the passport for the ticket, and then stamp it before leaving. It is said that the second time you go, it's 180 yuan per person, and after the third time, it's free for three years.
The facts prove once again that most boys are still interested in guns, cars and ships. But, are you serious, except for my child, no one is interested at all?
After a quick tour and running around on the deck for a while, it was already 11:00. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get a taxi or take the bus to the high-speed rail station, so I only played for an hour and a half and then left. The 220 yuan ticket price hurt, and the fact that the kids didn't like it at all hurt even more.
The entire attraction includes a car show, the aircraft carrier Jipu, submarines, and destroyers. There are water shows in spring, summer, and autumn. The submarines and destroyers are quite far from the aircraft carrier, so if you want to see both, you can take the sightseeing train at the entrance (an additional fee). We only saw the aircraft carrier, so we chose to walk. After passing the Russian Style Street, we happened to catch the 12 o'clock car show (included in the ticket). The car show was very exciting and lasted about 30 minutes. The next stop was Jipu. We passed by a 4D cinema, but there was an age limit, so we didn't go. Finally, we saw the aircraft carrier we had been longing for. There were photo booths here, and enlarged versions were 50 yuan each.
You can take a small train from the aircraft carrier to the destroyer. Because the operation of the small train is time-limited, I don't want to visit with a crowd, so I decided to walk to the destroyer. It's really a long way. I have to walk a long way along the seaside, and the sun is shining brightly. I am thirsty and tired. I feel like I can never reach the end no matter how I walk.
You must show your ID card to enter the destroyer, and only Chinese citizens can enter the destroyer for a visit.
The destroyer is also quite large, but I didn't take many photos, more just looking and feeling it. Walking straight from the destroyer is the submarine viewing area. Photography is not allowed inside the submarine, and entry requires not only ID registration but also a confidentiality agreement. The submarine's interior is small and sophisticated, and a dedicated staff member will guide you inside for a guided tour. The submarine's interior impressed me more than an aircraft carrier's. Why do I say that? Go and experience it yourself and you'll understand.
It should be the Minsk aircraft carrier that was towed back from Russia that year and toured around the country. It happened to be on display at Tianjin Port, so I went up to take a look.
For military fans, such a large shell may not be exciting enough; for those who are not interested in this kind of thing, it is a bit far-fetched to be used as a tourist attraction. It can only be said to be an experience of "I have been on a warship" to increase the sense of presence. It has more features than excitement.
Those who like military affairs must go to see it, there are cool aircraft carriers, cool planes, and cool tanks. The performance of the pirate captain on the water is a must-see, the actors are very hard-working, and the lighting, water and fire effects are also very real and great.
I don't recommend going there. If you go to Tanggu, you can try the seafood, although it is now polluted.
The aircraft carrier Kiev is undergoing a restoration project, preserving its original appearance to the greatest extent possible, recreating the sailors' work and life scenes, and developing engaging entertainment programs centered around military themes. The ship boasts over 80,000 square meters of open space, housing dozens of attractions, including a combat command center, intelligence cabin, aircraft carrier science and technology museum, a history museum on ship development, a sailor tilting cabin, and a warrior corridor. Further features include the World Expo Tianjin Pavilion, a dock plaza, a 4D cinema, and an aircraft carrier field camp.
First, the ticket price is a bit high. Second, the food inside is also too expensive. Third, you can see aircraft carriers and some scrapped warships, which are available for people to visit. Fourth, if you want to visit the submarine, you must make an appointment in advance on WeChat, but I didn't make an appointment. But this ticket is worth it.
There was an aircraft carrier show at 14:00. I ran here without even watching it. There were so many people watching the show.
Funny performances liven up the audience
Special recommendation, "Carrier Storm" is worth watching. We walked to see the submarine and took a car back. One way 20, round trip 30
Taking photos of the submarine is not allowed, and you have to store your bag. We didn't see the aircraft carrier much this time, but we visited the submarine and destroyer in detail.
It's a bit expensive. Entering from the entrance is the Russian style street, and at the end is our protagonist today - the Kiev aircraft carrier. Entering from the aircraft carrier entrance, first enter the fifth deck, where there are bottles and military boots of the aircraft carrier soldiers; then the tour guide introduces the torpedoes, torpedo launchers, missiles, stealth aircraft
Going up from the fifth deck, there are displays of the aircraft carrier command room: sonar control, captain, helmsman, intelligence room, etc.
It is a very good patriotic theme park. In addition to visiting the aircraft carrier, it has a Russian-style street, car racing shows, and ship shows in summer.
I went there during the holidays. It was really nice and the scenery was beautiful. I will go there again next time.
The Aircraft Carrier Theme Park in Tianjin Binhai New Area is very good. Children like to come here. The ticket price is 220.
Children 1.5 meters tall and up are fully charged, as are seniors regardless of age. Overall, the price is a bit high. There aren't many informational signs, so the attendant at the entrance strongly recommends a guide (40 yuan each). Food on the boat is expensive, so it's best to bring some food with children. The tour takes about an hour. If you're not interested in enriching your children's knowledge and broadening their horizons, it's not a big deal for adults to go.
I really don't recommend it! The 220 yuan ticket price is totally worth it! The entire park is decorated in a Russian style, with a few foreigners selling so-called Russian bread and sausages. Each bread costs 50 yuan, and each small sausage costs 35 yuan! The other small shops basically sell things from Taobao, but the prices are ridiculous! Expensive is fine! The aircraft carrier itself is not worth seeing! It's not even as clean as the Minsk aircraft carrier in Shenzhen! The entire deck smells of oil and mold! The car show is so low-class! Transportation is also inconvenient. We took the subway for over an hour and then took a taxi. The taxi fare was 170 yuan, and the subway fare was 9 yuan per person. It was time-consuming and boring!
The "Kiev" aircraft carrier theme park located in the Binhai New Area is bound to be a tiring journey for us who don't have a car. The theme park is of a decent size, but the location is too remote. All in all, we still spent a pleasant day here.
It was already past six when we arrived at the aircraft carrier park. The aircraft carrier was really shocking. It was a huge behemoth with a very complex internal structure. It could accommodate airplanes and missiles. My son loved it very much. The embarrassing thing was that there were so few people there at night that some of the internal landscapes, such as the control room and dormitory, had so many dummies that the child was scared to tears.
It's suitable for bringing children to have a look. It's super big, like a small kingdom. I think it's more suitable for boys. My little princess doesn't like it that much.
Purchase a ticket (160 yuan/person) to board the ship. The entrance to the aircraft carrier is located on deck 5. Once aboard, follow the yellow arrow on the floor, turn right, and walk through the display area for original ship artifacts to a small screening room where a short film about the Kiev aircraft carrier is shown on a loop.
Tickets are 220 yuan per person. After checking in, you'll go through the scenic area's simulated immigration process. After security, there's an "entry" archway. Standing under the archway, someone will take your photo. When you exit, you can pick up your photo. Two-inch photos are free and can be affixed to your passport-style ticket. Larger ones, as big as a wedding photo stand, come with a frame for 50 yuan and are optional.
It is a large-scale military theme park with the unique tourist resource of the "Kiev" aircraft carrier as its main body, which integrates eight major sections: aircraft carrier sightseeing, weapons display, theme performances, conferences and exhibitions, expansion training, national defense education, entertainment and leisure, and film and television shooting. You can bring your children to visit.
The nation's most important mobile fortress
Thanks to the long-term influence (deception) of Zhang Zhaozhong, the former director of the National Strategic Deception Bureau, how could I not have a strong interest in aircraft carriers?
We drove to the Kiev aircraft carrier anchored near Tianjin Tanggu Port. It had bid farewell to the bleak appearance when I first met it in Qinhuangdao in 2001. Now it is full of vigor and spectacular: not only is the hull painted anew, but the decks and hangars also display original large models of various equipment, including the vertical take-off and landing carrier-based aircraft Yak-38 and Basalt anti-ship missiles. In particular, the concept of displaying other ships such as destroyers and submarines in the aircraft carrier battle group has made this old ship with glorious military achievements the protagonist of the glamorous aircraft carrier theme park, attracting many tourists who come here to visit.
The Kiev, purchased from Russia after its disintegration, was the lead ship of the Soviet Navy's second-generation Kiev-class aircraft carriers. This 37,000-ton behemoth, embodying the Red Navy's shipbuilding philosophy of combining cruiser and aircraft carrier, boasted a deck area and cabin space exceeding that of the Titanic, but its combat effectiveness differed significantly from that of modern aircraft carriers. First, due to the large number of ship-to-ship missiles and their launchers occupying the ship's interior, its aircraft carrier fleet was only one-third that of the US Nimitz-class carriers and half that of the Varyag (now China's Liaoning), a representative of the Soviet Union's third-generation carriers. Second, due to its insufficient deck area, it could only accommodate vertical take-off and landing aircraft and helicopters, which appear impressive but have an actual combat radius and payload of only about one-third that of ski-jump aircraft. To sum up, in today's world where carrier-based aircraft are the core and air supremacy is the key to victory, this aircraft carrier with a unique design concept cannot be compared with China's first aircraft carrier Liaoning in terms of combat effectiveness, let alone the many 100,000-ton nuclear-powered heavy aircraft carriers in the United States?
The Aircraft Carrier Theme Park is located in the Binhai New Area Eco-City, about an hour away from the city center.
For military enthusiasts, visiting an aircraft carrier is indeed a great place to go. It has a complete range of naval weapons, as well as the history of ship development, carrier-based aircraft, etc. Even ordinary people can come to visit and broaden their horizons.
The theme park entrance is filled with Russian-style buildings, making it feel like entering a fairytale kingdom. There are also performances by Russian girls and boys, and various Russian food restaurants in the theme park.
After walking through the Russian-style street, we came to a square. After crossing the square, we saw the Kiev aircraft carrier, which was very shocking.
Enter the cabin for a visit. The aircraft carrier has eight floors on the upper part and nine floors on the lower part. It is very large and it takes a lot of time to visit it. It is best to catch up with the live performance on the aircraft carrier. If you watch the performance and don’t have time to visit the aircraft carrier, you can choose to tour the aircraft carrier. Even so, you can only take a quick tour and see the three floors on the upper part of the cabin. There is no time to visit the lower part of the cabin, so students who have time can spend more time here. It is still worth a visit.
It is very shocking for someone like me who is not a military fan, but I believe military fans will like it very much.
The Sailor Warrior 3D Corridor is a dynamically rotating screen. As a qualified aircraft carrier sailor, you must undergo rigorous physical training and psychological testing. It is particularly interesting to walk through the dizzying sailor corridor, and you will feel dizzy inside.
After a quick tour, two hours passed in the blink of an eye.
In the winter of 2015, I visited the aircraft carrier with my fellow riders.
Enter the Aircraft Carrier Theme Park with a tourist passport. There's a free photo opportunity inside the park, where a Russian beauty poses for photos with you, holding a fake gun. Upon exiting the park, you can pick up your photo with the Russian beauty at a designated location for ¥50. Alternatively, you can have your own headshot cut out for free.
Admission to the Aircraft Carrier Park is 160 yuan per person, with half-price admission for children 1.2-1.5 meters tall and free admission for children under 1.2 meters. Behind the Folklore Street is Peace Square, home to a collection of retired aircraft and tanks. Our visit coincided with the Qingming Festival, and the square was decorated with numerous windmills, a truly stunning sight. Continuing from the square, you'll cross a highway before entering the core area of the Aircraft Carrier Park.
Compared with today's aircraft carriers, the Kiev aircraft carrier is not big, but it is still shocking to see it up close. After seeing the aircraft carrier, I went to see the destroyer not far away. It looked like a small fishing boat. I was really amazed that human science and technology can build such a huge steel city on the sea. In addition, if you want to see the submarine, you need to sign something like a confidentiality agreement. Taking pictures is prohibited and you need to store your bag. My camera bag is too big and can't fit in the locker, so I didn't visit. My friend came up after the visit and said that even if you are allowed to go in with a backpack, you may not be able to get through the watertight door.
Very big, very big! ! ! The picture is fresh, but there is nothing interesting
The Tianjin TEDA Aircraft Carrier Theme Park, also known as the Tianjin Binhai Aircraft Carrier Theme Park, is located at Baguatan in Hangu, Binhai New Area, Tianjin. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. Here, you can touch the body of the legendary original aircraft carrier "Kiev." The "Kiev" aircraft carrier is 273.1 meters long, 52.8 meters wide, and 61 meters high, with a standard displacement of 32,000 tons. Fully loaded, it displaces 40,500 tons, making it a truly colossal vessel. The experience of stepping aboard the aircraft carrier is truly breathtaking! This is a favorite among children, especially boys, and it also attracts many military enthusiasts who can explore the aircraft carrier from the inside out, which is a truly educational experience! The ticket price of 220 yuan is a bit steep, but it would be much better if it were cheaper.
I went there during the National Day holiday and there were quite a lot of people. At that time, China didn't have its own aircraft carrier, so it was quite shocking to see this. There was also a foreign explosion show next to the aircraft carrier. You can also see the Bohai Bay.
Tianjin Binhai Aircraft Carrier Theme Park (hereinafter referred to as "Binhai Aircraft Carrier") is located in Baguatan, Hangu, Binhai New Area, Tianjin. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction with the unique tourist resource of "Kiev" as its main body.
This aircraft carrier was purchased from Russia by the Tianjin Municipal Government for scrap metal. It's covered in Russian characters. It's the former Soviet Union's Kiev. The Kiev is quite old, launched in 1975 and decommissioned in 1993. Due to funding constraints, Russia had to scrap it and sell it for foreign exchange. Early Soviet aircraft carrier designs featured powerful onboard weaponry, but less advanced aircraft. The Kiev lacked a ski-jump flight deck, and with a deck less than 200 meters long, it could only support vertical takeoff and landing Yak aircraft and Ka-series helicopters. It's a great place to bring children and experience the scenery. The scenic area also has a Russian-style street, primarily selling souvenirs and food.
Tianjin Binhai Aircraft Carrier Theme Park (hereinafter referred to as "Binhai Aircraft Carrier") is located in Baguatan, Hangu, Binhai New Area, Tianjin. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction with a total planned area of 220,000 square meters. It is a large-scale military theme park with eight major sections, including aircraft carrier sightseeing, weapons display, theme performances, conferences and exhibitions, development training, national defense education, entertainment and leisure, and film and television shooting, based on the unique tourist resource of the "Kiev" aircraft carrier.
This aircraft carrier is the former Soviet Union's Kiev. The ticket price is relatively expensive, but the facilities are complete, the introduction is also quite detailed, and many places are open. There are various performances if you go early. I went late and it was winter, so it was relatively quiet.
It is very large and spectacular and is a good place to popularize military knowledge.
It is very far from the center of Tianjin and takes more than an hour to drive. The children like to watch the aircraft carrier. The final car show is very exciting. Be sure to remember to watch it.
Seaports are common but aircraft carriers are not; theme parks are common but parks full of Russian girls... It's hard to say, maybe there are quite a few in Northeast China.
The Binhai Aircraft Carrier Theme Park is a unique military-themed park in Tianjin's Binhai New Area. Its main attraction is the decommissioned Kiev-class aircraft carrier Minsk, purchased from Russia, along with other military equipment. Even for those who haven't seen an aircraft carrier, it's well worth a visit.
The tickets are expensive, transportation is inconvenient, and most importantly, it’s not fun.
The Kiev aircraft carrier is still a place worth visiting for military fans
The Kiev aircraft carrier is worth a visit, especially the reality show performances, the sound, light, electricity and explosion stunts are simply invincible.
It's a rare sight, a must-see for military fans, and very suitable for little boys. However, if you don't know a lot about aircraft carriers, you must make a good plan before going, otherwise it's the same as not going at all.
It is a very worthwhile attraction, but it is a little far from the city center of Tianjin. But for military fans, what does this small distance matter?
The Kiev is an aircraft carrier retired by the former Soviet Union. It is of course far inferior to the American aircraft carriers, and can only take off and land vertical take-off and landing fighter jets, but at least it can be called an aircraft carrier.
It's a place worth visiting, but there are too many people.
I went to the Aircraft Carrier Park in February. The weather was quite cold. Because it is by the sea, we had to take anti-freeze measures. The park is not large in size and can be visited in 2-3 hours. If you want to see the aircraft carrier, you can choose to stay in the urban area of Tianjin. There was still snow in the park this time, which made the charming town look different. The entrance fee is relatively expensive and the price-performance ratio is average. First, we passed the charming town, then the sculpture square. There are many sculptures and weapons facilities on the square, such as tanks. Finally, we visited the aircraft carrier. You can go inside to visit and even go on the deck. It is still a place worth visiting.
220 yuan is really not a low price. We went too late. I recommend going early, 10 am or 3 pm. You need to enter an hour in advance. The performance stage is open only after you have completed the aircraft carrier tour, so it is best to complete the aircraft carrier tour early. We went too late and did not see any performances. However, we took photos with some Russian beauties, so it was worth the trip. You can popularize military knowledge and ask for a tour guide, otherwise you really won't understand.
Whether you're visiting Tianjin or are a local, this place is a must-see. Let's start with Binhai's environment. I live in the city, and after arriving here, my husband and I started discussing finding a job in Binhai and moving our family there. The air quality and greenery here are far superior to those in the city. The only downside is the limited transportation, with only buses. The Aircraft Carrier Park covers a large area, featuring the former Soviet-built Kiev aircraft carrier. It offers educational presentations, live-action performances, and a variety of Russian snacks. It's a great place for families and a must-see for fans of aircraft and ships. Recommended time to visit: After May Day, the live-action performances begin, and the live-action water-based movies don't start until the summer officially begins, so avoid visiting around the New Year, as you won't be able to see anything then.
Very good, it is very meaningful to bring children and combine education with entertainment
It's terrible. A place like this can't afford to charge 220 yuan for admission. Aside from the aircraft carrier, there's really no other highlight. First, the location is remote, and there are plenty of illegal taxis after getting off the bus, all for 20 yuan. Once inside, I realized it's only one-fifth the size I'd expected. Less than 15 minutes in, and I'd already been on a complete loop... The few highlights advertised were also abysmal. Not to mention the 4D cinema, which doesn't come with glasses and requires you to spend 15 yuan on paper ones. The sheer size of the projector was a shock. The stunts were also underwhelming. The plot and action weren't very engaging, but the interactive elements were okay. The Russian-style dance was unbearable after 10 minutes, and it felt like a school party. Could the management pay more attention? It's clear they're just trying to get the job done. Of course, there are some highlights. The aircraft carrier is pretty good, and the interior exhibits are nice, which is the only real highlight. In short, for a 60 yuan ticket, if you're planning a trip to Tianjin, I recommend not traveling so far just for this attraction and the hassle of the round-trip transportation. It's definitely not worth it. Attached are a few photos to show how shocking these highlights are.
It was not just a bad product, just an empty shell with a model and pictures. The passport was supposed to be issued, but even with a small photo, they insisted on taking a large photo for 50 yuan before they would stamp it.
One of Tanggu's must-see attractions. The aircraft carrier is truly magnificent, a true giant of the seas. Spanning five floors, you can observe daily operations from within, with a guide explaining the complex systems that keep it afloat. On deck, you'll see real aircraft and cannons. The theme park also features performances reminiscent of American action films, offering a truly authentic experience. A visit to the Aircraft Carrier Theme Park is a must-see when visiting Tanggu; you won't regret it!
I went there during the May Day holiday, but didn't go in. I just took a photo outside. Nothing else.
It's a place worth visiting, close to the sea, but the transportation is inconvenient and the tickets are too expensive.
If you're interested in aircraft carriers, it's a great place to visit. I remember going there during the Mid-Autumn Festival last year. It wasn't far from Beijing, just over two hours' drive, and it's located in the Binhe New District. Time flies! It was my first time out with my beloved, so it was a memorable experience. Tickets are quite expensive, around 200 yuan, and I think you can buy them in group purchases. They're the same tickets you pay with your passport: 220 yuan for the first visit, 180 yuan for the second (requires a valid endorsement at the time of the first purchase), and 150 yuan for the third. Note: For the first three visits, you'll need a park passport, and you'll need a 1-inch photo. If you use the same passport three times, you can convert it to a green card (unlimited entry for three years). There's a spectacular show in front of the aircraft carrier, but it's timed. Inside the aircraft carrier, they offer a fascinating glimpse into the life of Soviet troops at sea. Overall, I think you can complete the experience in one visit.
1. Specifically, it is still a long distance from Tianjin city.
2. In Tanggu, a taxi costs about 70 yuan. There are direct buses, but the journey takes a long time.
3. To be honest, it is worth a visit, but when I took a taxi, the locals said that the fare was too expensive. You can take a taxi around, or get off and walk around. It is not worth the money.
4. I think it’s great when it snows. It feels like being in another country.
Standing next to or on an aircraft carrier, you will feel very small. Tianjin Aircraft Carrier Park is located on the northeast coast of Tianjin. It takes an hour and a half to drive there from the city. It will take a long time to take public transportation. It is recommended to include a one-day tour of the aircraft carrier.
This was, hands down, the most worthwhile place to visit during my trip to Tianjin. While the ticket price is a bit steep, I think it's absolutely worth it. It was my first time getting so close to an aircraft carrier. Being inside the hull felt like stepping back into the Soviet era. Everything I touched and saw was etched with traces of history. It was a truly magical experience. The ticket itself is designed to look like a passport booklet, which is quite unique. You can get a discount or even free admission if you return with that same ticket within a few years. I doubt I'll be able to go again, though; this might become a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Overall, I highly recommend it. It's a bit far from the city center, so take the light rail to the Yanghuo Market stop. There are a lot of taxi drivers outside the exit. If you're in a large group, it's better to hire a minivan; it's more economical, and with a large group, you don't have to worry about the drivers being rude.
It is very necessary to see it. We went there in 2013. It cost 160 yuan. Now it costs 220 yuan. You can spend a whole morning there.
This is a Soviet aircraft carrier. It has now become a tourist attraction with various introductions and exhibitions about the aircraft carrier. Boys like it more. It has now been expanded into a theme park, so you can consider a visit.
Originally, there was only an aircraft carrier, but in recent years it has been developed into a theme park. Besides visiting the aircraft carrier, there are also many performances, which children, especially boys, love. However, transportation is not very convenient, so it is best to drive.
Because I went there during the Spring Festival, I only had two days of tight schedule, so I didn't get to visit many attractions. It was a pity! If I have the chance again, I will definitely use enough vacation time to explore Tianjin properly.
Going on an aircraft carrier is so huge and spectacular! This is the overlord of the sea!
The original plan was to go and take a look, but what we saw was a helicopter carrier and there was nothing interesting there, so we finally decided to go directly to Tianjin.
Tianjin Binhai Aircraft Carrier Theme Park has an aircraft carrier donated by the former Soviet Union, as well as a Russian-style street and racing shows, which are very nice.
Friends who want to go, please make a plan in advance, it is very suitable for family travel!
When you watch an aircraft carrier on TV, you can't feel how big it is. But when you are in it, you will feel that it is extremely large.
It takes a long time to tour an aircraft carrier, from the bottom floor all the way to the deck.
We paid 160 yuan to hire a guide to lead us on the tour. During this period, we learned a lot of military knowledge and learned the basic knowledge of aircraft carriers.
It was my first time seeing an aircraft carrier. I was really shocked. It was so huge. I was so confused inside. There were so many performances. I only remember one performance of "Carrier Storm" performed by Hollywood actors outside the aircraft carrier. It was very vivid and realistic.
It's a really unique place, but the ticket price is really expensive, 220 yuan.
TEDA Aircraft Carrier Theme Park
A great attraction in Tianjin Development Zone
Many scenic spots in the development zone are marked as under construction
P1 is the entrance to the scenic area. It is modeled after the Russian architectural style and is very beautiful.
P2 is the Russian style street inside the scenic area, with Russian-style souvenirs and snacks sold on both sides of the road.
P3 is the most famous Russian nesting dolls. There is also artificial snow all over the ground. It feels like going to Russia.
P4 is a panoramic photo of the aircraft carrier! It is really huge!
P5 is some photos of the interior of the aircraft carrier. This is an anti-submarine missile
P6 is a photo taken on the deck. The whole thing looks great! It can also accommodate many aircraft✈️
P7 is to go to a higher place to see the planes on the deck
P8 is a destroyer, next to the Kiev aircraft carrier, and it should be possible to go there, but I didn't go to see it today. There is also a submarine here that I didn't see. The sign said that an appointment is required.
P9 is a marine cab that looks super high-end!
Overall, the TEDA Aircraft Carrier Theme Park is quite fun. There are also performances at noon, but the food is a little expensive. A chicken roll costs ¥30.
The entrance fee is ¥220. You will be asked to take two photos when you enter. The 1-inch photo is free, but the one in a frame costs ¥50.
There is also a ski resort next to it, which is a good experience to go there in winter.
