The biggest selling point of this scenic area is also here. The canyon itself is full of fog, so how can it be the best observation point? It is still a scenic area where the publicity packaging is more important than the content. Of course, maybe if I stayed here for one or two more days, I might be able to see it, but most of the tourists should be like me, who only have a maximum of one hour to stay here. I see that many photography enthusiasts usually arrive at the Sejila Mountain Pass when it is almost sunset. The chance of seeing it here is relatively high (because it is high). Unfortunately, when I passed by here this time, I found that the simple parking area on the roadside was gone. Because the roadside here is located on a cliff, guardrails were added during the road renovation in 2016, and it is now impossible to park here for viewing.

It is said that foreigners are no longer allowed to enter here. Although the peak has not yet revealed its true appearance, the beautiful scenery of the Golden Mountain in the Sunlight has already appeared.

Mount Nanga Bawa appeared before my eyes without reservation, the night sky was set against the snow, and the entire mountain was emitting a holy and pure light, shining straight into my heart.

After waiting for more than 3 hours, I finally captured the sunset at Mount Nanga Bawa in the dark clouds! I was ready to give up, but luckily, God was on my side and I only had 10 minutes, which was enough.

The entire Nanga Bawa Mountain is immersed in a thin layer of clouds and mist, which is just right, just like overflowing from the mountain. The outline of the mountain is clearly discernible, but it is covered by clouds and mist, which adds a touch of mystery. In less than 5 minutes, it seems that an invisible hand in the sky gently lifts up a corner of the clouds and mist, and lifts it from left to right, and the clouds and mist on the mountain slowly fade away like a layer of gauze. Then, the main peak appears! At sunset, the entire Nanga Bawa Mountain is bathed in the golden afterglow of the sunset. This phenomenon of the snow mountain at sunrise and sunset is the famous "Sunshine Golden Mountain", which is why you must stay at the foot of the mountain for a night to see the snow mountain. Unfortunately, this sunset golden mountain is not perfect. The main peak is looming in the golden clouds and mist and refuses to come out easily. You can imagine how shocking it would be if there were no clouds in the sky. Before the sun completely set, the main peak finally appeared completely for a while, but it was too late, because the mountain that had been exposed before was swallowed by the clouds and mist and disappeared. It was a little regretful and imperfect, but I remember it very clearly. I didn’t feel any regret or regret at that time, because everything that day could be summed up in two words to me: contentment. This is the most interesting part of waiting for the snow-capped mountains.

Ordinary people are lucky enough to see Nanga Parbat after the clouds and mist have been cleared. To see the golden mountain, you have to come several times before you can see it, and you may not see it even after several times. Therefore, the golden color is the rarest.

We entered the valley in the morning and saw Mount Namjagbarwa, but it was no longer visible when we left the valley at noon, so those who visited in the afternoon had a regretful visit.

As we were driving and almost reaching the pass, we suddenly saw a group of people standing on a high place cheering. We quickly stopped. We were so lucky. The true appearance of Mount Nanga Bawa was gradually revealed. We quickly got out of the car and took our mobile phones and cameras to take pictures. The two men in particular did not care about the high altitude of the plateau or the cold weather (I also tried to take a down jacket from the trunk, but the box was stuck and I couldn't get it out) and ran straight to the hillside to watch.

Later, the Tibetan bus driver next to us said that he had been driving this route every day for more than two months but had not seen the true appearance of Mount Nanga Bawa. Hearing this, we felt even more lucky on this trip. After getting on the bus, we didn't leave yet, and we kept sighing in the car, the magic and greatness of nature.

Although there were still many clouds blocking the view, the outline of the snow-capped mountains could be vaguely seen. After the sun rose, the clouds gradually dissipated and the snow-capped mountains gradually revealed their full appearance.

We were very lucky this time. There are only a few days a year when the weather is so good that we can see the whole snow mountain. There are only 5 or 6 days a year when you can see the whole view, so it is also called the Shy Girl Peak.

Maybe my photography skills are too poor, and my photos can't capture one tenth of the beauty of Mount Nanga Bawa. The shock of seeing the snow-capped mountains for the first time cannot be described in words! Some beautiful scenery can only be appreciated in person!

Mount Namjagbarwa is located at the intersection of the Himalayas, Nyainqentanglha Mountains and Hengduan Mountains. It is the highest mountain in Linzhi Prefecture, Tibet, China, with an altitude of 7,782 meters, and is located at the eastern end of the Himalayas.

It usually lasts from May to September, especially in July, August and September, when it rains almost every day and the cloud cover is also very large, so the peak is shrouded in clouds and mist all day long.

I was really lucky, as I was able to see Mount Nanga Bawa on my first visit during the rainy season after only three hours, and the clear sky lasted for about 30 minutes.

It was raining intermittently on the way here, and the clouds were particularly thick. I didn't have high expectations for seeing Mount Nanga Bawa. I arrived at the homestay around 5 o'clock. After packing my luggage, I set up my camera and took pictures. Suddenly, I heard a lot of people screaming downstairs. I glanced at the snow-capped mountain and it was still the same as before. Two people chatted for a while. These people are really making a fuss. There is no change. What is there to scream about? I was bored and took the camera to look at the photos I just took. I was surprised to find that the top of the mountain had emerged from the clouds. We didn't expect the top of the mountain to be so high, so we never found it. So I quickly picked up the camera and started shooting. This mountain top, which only appears for more than 60 days a year, appeared in front of us so easily. Although it was still wrapped in a layer of clouds, we finally saw it. After a few minutes, the entire top of the mountain hid in the clouds again, as if it had never existed.

We went downstairs to have dinner at 8 o'clock. The entire Nanga Parbat was blocked by clouds, so we began to concentrate on eating. When we looked up, the top of the mountain appeared again from the gap in the clouds. The people who were eating dropped their bowls and ran out to take pictures. This time, the view lasted even shorter and disappeared again after a while.
