It is said that the most beautiful place in Tibet is Nyingchi, and the most beautiful place in Nyingchi is March. At this time in Tibet, the spring chill has not yet ended, but Nyingchi is already a sea of flowers. The snow-capped peaks in the distance are still covered with white snow, while the peach blossoms in front of us are already competing for beauty like drunken clouds, a beautiful scene in the south of the Yangtze River. The two extremes of snow-capped mountains and peach blossoms, I was really shocked when I saw such a scenery for the first time.

The winding river valley is densely forested, with lush vegetation and abundant crops. Every March and April, peach blossoms bloom in Nyingchi, with light pink petals flying in the wind all over the mountains. Riding a horse and galloping over hills is the most popular way to check in on the Sichuan-Tibet line in recent years.

However, compared with most inland provinces, Linzhi is still much quieter and more spacious.

The Jiangnan of Tibet. Five climate zones and ten landforms in one place. From afar, you can see the world's deepest Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, rich primitive ancient cypress and fir forests in front of you, and thousand-year-old glaciers and snow-capped mountains on the horizon; there are boiling hot springs, trickling streams, curtains of waterfalls, large flower fields and peach blossom valleys. You can see different scenery every ten miles along the way.

We rented an off-road vehicle. Not recommended! The 5-day in-depth tour of Nyingchi was compressed into 4 days without our knowledge. =_= The road to Nyingchi is very steep. Next to it is the rolling Yarlung Zangbo River. There are two lanes without railings and continuous large turns. I still remember it vividly. When I passed a sharp turn, the driver said leisurely that a month ago, a military supply truck flipped over from this mouth.

Go there in spring and see the peach blossoms. You won’t be disappointed, they are so beautiful.

The most vivid memory of Linzhi in 2007 was the car accident. Fortunately, the car did not crash on the edge of a cliff... but the scars left by jumping out of the car remain to this day.

Don’t join a tour group when you come to Linzhi. Although it is indeed convenient and cheap to join a three-day tour group from Lhasa, the group meals are full of tricks!

The most beautiful spring in China is in Linzhi. If spring has come, come back in another season. You won’t be disappointed!

By OUT |

Beautiful. I like this kind of scenery. . . . . . . . . . . . .

By Sichuan-Tibet Handsome |

In addition to the Grand Canyon scenic area, other scenic spots in Nyingchi are very beautiful. There are Lulang Town, Basongcuo, Bomi, Niyang River scenery, Peach Blossom Festival, Nanga Bawa, Buddha Palm Sand Dunes and other places waiting for you to play. Each kind of scenery is different from what you can see in the inland, the heavenly Tibet, the fairyland Nyingchi.

Japan's cherry blossoms and Luoping's rape blossoms are the most intense colors of spring. The Nyingchi Peach Blossom Festival is no exception. At the beginning of March every year, the thousand-year-old wild peach forests in Nyingchi, Tibet will bloom in patches. Peach blossoms all over the mountains begin to cover the hillsides. The pink petals are connected with the towering white snow-capped mountains, reflecting the magnificent scenery of blue sky and white clouds. Being in it is like being in a fairyland.

By VV |

When I first saw the peach blossoms here, I was surprised at how they could bloom so wildly and endlessly. It looked like they had at least a hundred years of history. The wild peach blossoms were all over the mountains, completely wild. However, we came a little late and many of the peach blossoms had already begun to fade.

There are fewer buses and taxis in Nyingchi City in winter, and the average bus runs every 15 minutes. If you are in a hurry, you can use Didi to take a taxi, which is also convenient.

There are not many attractions to visit in Linzhi city. The consumption level in Linzhi area is not low. A bowl of noodles costs about 20-25 yuan on average. I chatted with the restaurant owner and learned that although the infrastructure in Tibetan areas is far behind that in the mainland, due to the large number of government support projects, the per capita wage and consumption level are still high.

There are green mountains and clear waters everywhere, and rhododendrons all over the mountains. No wonder Linzhi is the legendary "Little Jiangnan" in Tibet.

By Phony Chef Jia |

Linzhi, known as the "Jiangnan of Tibet", is located in the southeast of Tibet and east of Lhasa. Most of Linzhi has a humid climate and pleasant scenery. The ethnic minorities are mainly the Monba and Lhoba. For friends who have just arrived in Lhasa and have altitude sickness, it is recommended to go to Linzhi, which has the lowest altitude, first, which is very helpful for alleviating altitude sickness. The beautiful pastoral scenery makes you feel like you are in Jiangnan. Go east along National Highway 318, pass the Mila Pass at an altitude of 5013.25 meters, and arrive at a place called Bahe Town near noon. One group of members went to Basong Co, and those who did not go stayed in the town to wait. In the afternoon, they continued to rush to Sejila Pass. They had dinner at around 8 o'clock in the evening and stayed in Linzhi at night.

By Superdan_pro |

Even if the weather is bad, the mountains are covered with colorful forests, and you will still be impressed by the beauty of autumn in Nyingchi.

By One meter of sunshine |

It is the area with the lowest altitude in Tibet and is known as the Little Jiangnan of Tibet. The scenery is very beautiful, especially in spring when the peach blossoms are in full bloom.

By Footprints of the Great Forest |

Linzhi City is still very quiet at night, and the scenic area is okay!

By Snow Sorrow |

Walking into the small roads of Nyingchi, you will find the Jiangnan of Tibet. Although there was a tornado on the road, it was so strong that people could not feel the purity of the Yarlung Zangbo River. There was a forest in the past, and the leaves were still green, which was worthy of being called the Jiangnan of Tibet. Passing through the Gongbu Jiangda Tunnel, you can see Tibetan pigs everywhere on the small roads of Nyingchi, strolling leisurely there.

By Traveling Painter M |

The house where Tibetans live. Looking down from the second floor, you can see the tranquility of the countryside: an old Tibetan woman is washing dishes; the humid climate is like a sponge soaked in water, moist; cattle and sheep are looking for food, but are they drinking the sweetest rain?

By Sheep |

Linzhi is worthy of being called Jiangnan on the Great Wall. It has lush trees, low altitude, plenty of oxygen, and is very comfortable to live in.

By I am Sister Ying |

Linzhi is known as the Little Jiangnan, and indeed, the scenery is like being in Jiangnan, with emerald green trees, turquoise water, blue sky, and white clouds.

Along the way I said that the sky was foggy and it would be even better with the sun.

Although it is still February, many peach blossoms have bloomed on both sides of Linzhi Street, and many shops are closed on New Year's Eve.

By zcKAREN |

I always sigh that this is a treasure land in Tibet. The vegetation is dense, the rainfall is abundant, the climate is humid and the scenery is pleasant. The altitude is only two or three thousand meters, and most people will not have altitude sickness in Linzhi. I missed the peach blossom season in Linzhi in spring, but Linzhi in July and August also has another different beauty.

By neat |

Specialties are relatively cheap in Nyingchi, but very expensive once you get to Lhasa, such as saffron, matsutake (the fresh matsutake here sells for 170 yuan per catty, which is a little expensive, but the quality is much better than that in Batang at 40 yuan per catty), and Medog stone pot.

By Lone Wolf |

Walking in Nyingchi, you can see peach blossoms everywhere when spring comes to Tibet. The snow-capped peaks in the distance are still covered with white snow, while the peach blossoms in front of you are already competing for beauty like drunken clouds. The pink peach blossoms are infinitely charming in the embrace of the majestic snow-capped mountains. The wild peach forest with colorful flowers, set against the blue sky and white snow-capped peaks, brings a magnificent spring to Nyingchi, which is beautiful beyond words!

By iyouyouxiaoqi |

Because Lhasa has a dry climate and thin oxygen, Linzhi is a natural oxygen bar and has the reputation of "Little Jiangnan in Tibet".

Nyingchi is one of the six major regions in Tibet. It is completely different from Ali. In terms of climate and environment, one is heaven and the other is hell. Walking into Nyingchi, you will see virgin forests, extremely rich vegetation and wild animals, which can be called a natural museum.

Peach blossoms bloom everywhere in March. This is the most beautiful spring in China.

By Meow Love Fish |

It is known as the "Jiangnan of Tibet". But it is far better than the scenery of Jiangnan, it is the real Shambhala on earth!

Although it was drizzling and the weather was cold, we were still able to enjoy the scenery of Nyingchi, the "Little Jiangnan of Tibet". It was drizzling all the way to Sejila Mountain. The feeling of being in the sea of clouds made us feel relaxed and refreshed.

By It's getting bright |

Later, I experienced that I had to drive to Nyingchi by myself. Of the 410 kilometers, 200 kilometers were on the expressway, which was just opened last year. It was a safe distance from the mountains and was flat and safe. For other areas, try to use local drivers. Roasted Tibetan fragrant pig is a specialty of Nyingchi. The chartered driver helped to book it. The half-pig set meal was 900 yuan, including tea, slightly sour barley wine, four stir-fried vegetables and staple food. The quantity was large and suitable for many people to experience. There are many accommodations in Nyingchi, and it is no problem to book on the same day. Gongbu Hotel is OK

By Larain |

The peach blossoms in Nyingchi are wild peach blossoms, mostly white or light pink, and are not outstanding when viewed alone. They are famous because of their scale that spreads over hundreds of miles and the background of blue sky, white clouds and snow-capped mountains. The most beautiful peach blossoms in Nyingchi are not in Taohuagou or Taohua Village, but in the foothills of snow-capped mountains and in nameless valleys.

By HAO relying on PU |

We stayed in Nyingchi for three days, but it was rainy season and the area was shrouded in clouds and mist, so we only saw a corner of the sacred mountain.

By Wandering |

Linzhi is the only Jiangnan scenery in Tibet, with beautiful mountains and clear waters all the way.

By minya |

To see the peach blossoms here, you don't have to stick to a specific scenic spot. There is a good view in an inconspicuous place on the roadside. These peach trees are very strange. Most of the trees are very thick, as if they have been standing there for many years. Such a big tree does not even have a small leaf. Except for the trunk, it is all flowers. You should know that the weather has a great impact on the scenery. The weather was great during the few days we came. So we were lucky to see the Nanga Bawa Peak, which symbolizes luck.

By Stream |

I took some photos of the street scenes in Linzhi. The clouds in the sky of Linzhi are really beautiful! The two days in Linzhi relieved the altitude sickness, the food was delicious, and the itinerary was relaxing. Looking back, it was really the most comfortable two days in the trip! Linzhi left me with a very good impression.

By Caviar Couple |

From March to April every year, peach blossoms are in full bloom in Nyingchi area, and the land is gorgeous. The blooming peach blossoms and the towering mountains are connected into one, and the scattered Tibetan houses are dotted around, making it like a paradise.

By Be content with what you have |

The roads along the way are lined with green trees, and golden rapeseed flowers and lush green barley come into view, creating a beautiful Jiangnan scenery. This is Nyingchi, which is known as the "Jiangnan of Tibet", which we passed through.

By Fanfanfanfanlin |

The most beautiful time in Nyingchi is probably spring, when the mountains are covered with peach blossoms in late March and early April.

And because Linzhi is at a slightly lower altitude, with lush forests and extremely high oxygen content, people here are in a very comfortable state. However, Linzhi is also quite cold, especially on rainy days.

By Anihasayo |

We went to Nyingchi for the Peach Blossom Festival. We came at a good time. Many attractions are free of charge. In addition, the altitude of Nyingchi is relatively low. I can wash my hair as soon as possible. I can have long flowing hair hahahaha... However, it is said that the Peach Blossom Festival should be out of date soon, but I still want to see its mysterious color.

By walk |

Known as the Jiangnan of Tibet, Bomi and Lulang are very beautiful, with rape flowers blooming on the roofs and little black pigs wandering around, worthy of the name of Little Switzerland. However, I would like to advise all my friends not to rush, because if you miss Lulang, you will miss the most beautiful town in China. You must stay in Lulang for a night instead of leaving in a hurry.

By Jack |

Nyingchi, a bright pearl in Tibet, is dazzling and eye-catching. There is a scene at every step. The air is fresh and it is a paradise on earth.

By wangcuishan |

The most famous thing about Nyingchi is the peach blossoms. In April, when the flowers on earth are all gone, the peach blossoms in the mountain temples are in full bloom. We caught the tail end of April.

80% of the 318 National Highway in Linzhi is under construction. The road conditions are very bad. It was almost a bumpy ride. Friends who are carsick, picky about their beds, or have a bad stomach should think twice. The temperature in Linzhi is slightly higher than that in Lhasa, so you can wear early autumn clothes in October. I have been to Linzhi several times and it is beautiful to a new level. It is said that Linzhi is the Little Switzerland of Tibet. I just came back from Switzerland and said: But from the perspective of natural scenery, I think Linzhi is more beautiful than Switzerland. It's just that the level of economic development is different. The infrastructure construction in Linzhi has not kept up. The original ecology is the most beautiful.

By Keep moving forward |

The scenery of the south of the Yangtze River in Tibet can only be seen from the car. Peach blossoms are the most common. The altitude here is only about 2,500 meters. Looking around, it is lush and green. There are many trees, crops and fruit trees in the fields. There are no cattle and sheep, but a thriving scene that is not found in the plateau.

By Martian User |

As soon as we arrived in Nyingchi area, we were surrounded by forests, with lush trees all over the mountains.

By No one. |

The bus slowly entered the Nyingchi area. The first thing that caught my eye was a desolate scene. Nyingchi looked a bit lonely after the Peach Blossom Festival. Occasionally, a few peach trees could be seen on both sides of the road, but the flowers and leaves seemed to be dry and lifeless. Nyingchi has a relatively small population density, and there are not as many Sichuan restaurants as in Lhasa. I walked around Nyingchi and didn't see any scenery worth praising. It was very similar to a small border town in my memory.

By Little fish |

Linzhi is not as magical as people say on the Internet. It seems that the season is wrong. Peach blossoms, peach blossoms, and peach blossoms~

By Sophia Nana |

If you come to Nyingchi during the Peach Blossom Festival, be sure to book a hotel in advance, otherwise you will likely end up sleeping on the streets.

By Summer |

Every year in late March and early April, when the cold spring in Tibet has not yet ended, Nyingchi is already a sea of flowers. The snow-capped mountains in the distance are still covered with white snow, while the peach blossoms are like pink clouds covering the ground. People often say that Nyingchi is the Jiangnan of Tibet and the Switzerland of the East, but they forget that Jiangnan does not have majestic snow-capped mountains and Switzerland does not have continuous seas of flowers.

Peach groves, barley, and snow-capped mountains, a collision of colors, the majestic snow-capped mountains, the warm peach groves, and the vibrant barley fields are all breathtakingly beautiful.

Linzhi is known as the "Little Jiangnan of Tibet". It rained that day and it was indeed beautiful.

By Xiaoju |

It’s a pity that we didn’t see Nyingchi in Xiaojiangnan. We went there in winter, so there was plenty of vegetation and oxygen, so we didn’t have any altitude sickness!

By Dandan~ |

I recommend that you charter a car when you go to Nyingchi to see the peach blossoms. You can stop and go along the way and there are so many beautiful places.

By People who want to travel |

Linzhi, known as the Jiangnan of Tibet, is a natural oxygen bar. If you are worried about altitude sickness when you go to Tibet, you can consider going to Linzhi first to adapt to the plateau climate before going to Lhasa. This is also a paradise for photography enthusiasts. The Linzhi Peach Blossom Festival in April every year is the best time for them to use their cameras. Unfortunately, due to the weather this year, the peach blossoms were not in full bloom in mid-March. Only a few flower buds hung on the branches, and we were unable to witness the fairyland of peach blossoms in full bloom.

By Light Snow |

Most of the peach trees in Nyingchi are wild peaches. The trunks of wild peaches are thick and strong, and the flowers are small and numerous, densely packed, layered, like the morning glow. Gala Taohua Village in Nyingchi County is located on the banks of the Niyang River, less than 20 kilometers away from Bayi Town. A few kilometers further ahead is Kasimu Village and the Niyang River. This is the best place to enjoy peach blossoms. From mid-to-late March to early April every year, the blooming peach blossoms and the towering snow-capped peaks are connected, giving people a sense of far-reaching, broad and magnificent. There were few tourists in the scenic area that day, and only one-third of the peach blossoms were in bloom.

By Mugemanduo |

It is the season when peach blossoms are in full bloom. The beauty of peach blossoms is endless along the way, and the water of the Yarlung Zangbo River is gentle.

I caught the Peach Blossom Festival in Gala Village, Nyingchi. I took a bus from Lhasa Bus Station to Nyingchi early in the morning, took a taxi, put my luggage at the inn and went to Gala Village immediately. This was my second time in Nyingchi area, and I had to go to Bomi Peach Blossom Valley to see the peach blossoms!

If we say that the divinity of Tibet lies in the snow-capped mountains and temples, and the solemnity of the fluttering prayer flags, then the spring of Tibet is in Nyingchi, where the colorful flowers bloom after the Spring Festival. In early April every year, the blue sky sets off the snow-capped mountains, and the snow-capped mountains set off the peach blossoms. Thousands of mountains and valleys are in full bloom, and there are endless peach blossoms.

By Xiyang |

In late March, I came to Nyingchi to enjoy the peach blossoms. The pink spring atmosphere of Tibet has a moving beauty against the backdrop of the sacred snow-capped mountains. Those colorful and light colors depict a pure and unique landscape for the world.

By Shire |

This is the destination of my trip, but the higher the expectations, the greater the disappointment. It seems that I still have to go to Japan to see the cherry blossoms! !

At 9 o'clock, the sun had not yet risen, but the peach forest was emitting a strong fragrance. The branches were covered with dense peach blossoms, and occasionally a few pink branches were seen, which was very pleasing.

By Wen Xiaojun |

Because this year's winter was particularly long, it has been snowing in Nyingchi and the flowering period has been postponed. When we arrived at the main venue of Taohua Village, there were few people there. We were a little disappointed when we saw it for the first time. When we walked in, we found that the flowers were too sparsely spaced and most of them were still in bud. The main venue was being built and there were not many people.

Two days later we decided to go to Taohua Village again, and I actually caught it. Many flowers bloomed in just two days, and the whole mountain was covered with dense flowers.

The red and white peach blossoms paired with the snow-capped mountains and rivers in the distance are really beautiful.

By Feifei in Sijiucheng |

Linzhi is the place with the best climate in Tibet, with various water veins such as the Yarlung Zangbo River and the Niyang River. The altitude is around 3,000 meters, the climate is relatively humid, and the vegetation is also quite diverse. It is quite obvious that after taking the Lalin Highway and crossing the Mila Pass, there are basically no plants on the mountain.

Actually, my first impression when I arrived in Linzhi was that there were so many snow-capped mountains... Starting from the sky above Chengdu, I was crossing the snow-capped mountains all the way. After landing, there were snow-capped mountains next to the airport. It seems that I have never enjoyed such a courtesy in other places.

The second impression is that the peach trees are so big. The peach blossoms here are light pink, and often look like a giant pink cotton candy from a distance. They are dotted on both sides of the Yarlung Zangbo River.

The third impression is: how can this pig run so fast?! There are always dark local special pigs on both sides of the road, called Tibetan Xiang. This kind of pig is not only common on the road, but also on the menu.

By Windy Man |

Many people think that they have to come here, but in fact, there is nothing to do. This is my second time here, and I don’t know where to go. The fog in the morning is okay, but the Peach Blossom Festival is a huge pit. Just a dozen trees are called the Peach Blossom Festival. Oh, what a pit.

By Don’t give up… |

The peach blossoms in Nyingchi have just sprouted

It's okay to leave some regrets and make up for it later.

By Mu Zhou |

Needless to say, Nyingchi is famous for its peach blossoms, and we happened to catch the opening of the Peach Blossom Festival, so we came at the right time. The peach blossoms were all over the mountains, which was beautiful. But to be honest, there were a lot of people. A friend was in Nyingchi a few days ago and said that the nearest hotel was extremely difficult to book. Basically, all the hotels before April 10 were booked, which shows how popular the peach blossoms in Nyingchi are.

I never knew there would be desert landscapes in Saishang Jiangnan. When I passed by the big sand dunes, it happened to be a strong wind, and I experienced the first sandstorm in my life. My mouth and nose were full of sand, and I dared not stay. Otherwise, I could have played sand sliding and taken a big movie. What a pity!

The sky is not very blue, probably because of a layer of fine dust pollution. Wooden fences and willow paths create a peaceful and idyllic world.

By Tour- |

The scenery along the way, walking and stopping, Linzhi is worthy of being the Jiangnan outside the Great Wall. Tibetan fragrant pigs need to be booked 3 hours in advance. The streets are full of stone pot chicken. The altitude is less than 3,000, and it seems that there is no altitude sickness at all. After eating Lulang stone pot chicken, I was full and took a walk in Bayi Town. There are all kinds of specialty shops selling yak meat, matsutake, Tibetan pigs, and thangkas. A clean small town.

The Switzerland of the East, I don't recommend going there in summer, it rains almost every day, and Basongcuo is just so-so. I didn't go to the Yarlung Zangbo River Scenic Area, it's said to be a rip-off. The Lulang Flower Sea is super beautiful, there is a very beautiful cloud rhododendron on the way to the Lulang Flower Sea, the scenery is very good. It is recommended to charter a car on the way. The scenery is good and you can stop at any time. Spring should be great, the peach blossoms in Nyingchi are in full bloom, and you can see Mount Namjagbarwa when the weather is good. Anyway, it rains every day in summer, it's really not suitable to go to Nyingchi

Nyingchi is located in the southeast of Tibet, with a pleasant climate, beautiful environment and the most beautiful natural scenery in Tibet. Nyingchi has the Lulang Forest, rural towns, glaciers, rivers and all the beautiful scenery you want to see except the ocean.
