It belongs to the Nyainqentanglha Mountains, where you can see the sunrise, the sea of clouds, the endless forest and the majestic and beautiful view of Mount Namjagbarwa. It is one of the four sacred mountains in Tibet. On the tenth day of the eighth month of the Tibetan calendar, a grand mountain circumambulation activity is held, called "Niangbulasu" (which means praying to the gods for treasures).

The sun is shining at the foot of the mountain and there is heavy snow on the mountain. It feels great and beautiful.
At this time in early September, it has already started snowing in Tibet at an altitude of 5,000 meters.
The best place to see Mount Nanga Bawa, the scenery is still good, and it is snowing
The green trees are lush and verdant, and the autumn leaves fill the pine forest with golden colors. It is simply a natural oxygen bar.
There is an endless sea of forests in front of you. When you reach a high place, you will feel like you are looking down on all the other mountains.
Go a little further up and you will reach the Sejila Pass at an altitude of 4,720 meters. You need to cross 13 mountains along the Sichuan-Tibet Highway, and this is the 12th one. Because of its high terrain, this is one of the best places to view Mount Nanga Bawa.
Many travel notes say that you can see Mount Namjagbarwa from a distance from Mount Sejila, and the scenery is unique. On the way, the driver introduced that Mount Namjagbarwa is also called Shy Girl Peak. The best time to see it is from October to February of the following year. During this period, there is a 95% chance of seeing Mount Namjagbarwa from Mount Sejila, and only a 5% chance in other periods. It is almost impossible for us to see Mount Namjagbarwa from a distance from Mount Sejila in August.
Walking through the Sejila National Forest Park, you will see lush green forests! In autumn, it is really beautiful, with colorful forests!
It was already 8:30 pm when we drove to the Sejila Pass at an altitude of 4,720 meters. The sky was completely covered with dark clouds. The gray sky and the biting mountain wind made people feel indescribably cold. Lightning flashed between the clouds in the distance. At this time, my wife was extremely reluctant to take pictures. If she hadn't said she wanted to go to the bathroom, she would definitely not let me stay here.
Climbing to the mountain pass at an altitude of 4,728 meters, you can see the sunrise, the sea of clouds, the endless forest, and the majestic appearance of Mount Namjagbarwa in the distance.
It started snowing heavily when we got here, and it was very cold. I had never seen such heavy snow when I traveled to Harbin. It was very beautiful, as if I had seen a white fairy tale world.
From Linzhi Town, head towards Lulang. As soon as you leave Linzhi Town, you will start to climb the mountain. It is a winding mountain road. It takes about 20 minutes to reach Sejila Pass. The mountain is full of spring and the mountain is covered with snow. When you get here, you usually get off the car to take a look. Behind the service area (a row of bungalows) is the Sejila Pass stone tablet.
At about 6:30, we arrived at Sejila Pass, which is 4,720 meters above sea level. Maybe because it was a little late, the temperature was lower than that at Mila Pass. Many people were a little underdressed, so they just took a quick photo of the stone tablet from a distance and hurried back to the car. A few people did not fear the cold wind and rain and came to take photos next to the stone tablet.
This is a famous landmark on the Sichuan-Tibet line with a wide view. In April, it was still a world of ice and snow, and the snow was very deep, the deepest of which was almost knee-deep.
A simple viewing platform, still dominated by snow-capped mountains, from which you can see the peaks in the distance.
When we arrived at the Sejila Pass at 4,720 meters, the moment our feet touched the ground when we got off the car, our legs felt as weak as if we were stepping on cotton, and our head felt dizzy, as if we had turned ten times in one place. But we still relied on our strong will to appreciate the Sejila scenic spot. The spectacular prayer flags fluttered in the wind, praying for people to chant sutras.
In fact, all the mountain passes in Tibet are very similar, with magnificent skylines, gently undulating snow lines, white snow, and fluttering prayer flags. As an authentic southerner, I haven't seen such a vast snowy land for many years. The sky and the earth are pure and clear, and the eyes can't touch the edge. Cars, pedestrians, and flying birds are just a drop in the ocean.
On the way, the driver said that we could see Mount Nanga Bawa from afar when we reached Sejila Pass. We could only see the peak about 90 days a year. It depended on our luck. We saw Mount Nanga Bawa in the distance before the car stopped. We were so lucky. The peak was sandwiched between two clouds. After seeing the peak, we were so excited that we kept taking photos. The snow-capped mountains and the road were so cool. But it was still cold on the top of the mountain, and we couldn't stay there for too long because of the high altitude.
Probably because of the bad weather, it wasn't very nice. There is a road along the foot of the mountain that leads to the Lulang Forest Sea, but the weather was really bad at the time so we didn't go in.
If you are lucky, you can see Mount Nanga Bawa here. But it was a rainy day and the sky was covered with dark clouds, so you couldn't see anything.
The first impression here is that there are too many people. The best photo taking position is overcrowded, so we had to choose a less crowded and secluded place to watch. Compared with Mila Pass, it is closer to the snow, and you can even step on the snow. The closer you are, the more intimate it is, as if you are embraced by the ice and snow.
This last pass before reaching Lhasa itself does not have much to see, except for the famous plateau yak statues and the souvenir stalls of local Tibetans. The biggest highlight is that you can see China's most beautiful mountain - Mount Namjagbarwa from a distance. If the weather conditions are good, you can also see natural landscapes such as sunrise and sea of clouds.
Sejila Mountain is located east of Linzhi County, Linzhi Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region. It belongs to the Nyainqentanglha Mountains on the southern line of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. Climbing to the pass at an altitude of 4,728 meters, you can see the sunrise, the sea of clouds, the endless forest and the majestic and majestic appearance of Mount Namjagbarwa. This is the most fun snow mountain I have played on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. The snow is so heavy that you can make snowmen. And the snow mountain here is very free, because you can easily play in the off-season and choose a place with few people to take pictures and play without restrictions. I personally feel that there are fewer restrictions than Yulong Snow Mountain and you can play freely!
At Sejila Pass, there was a strong wind and heavy snow. Some people said that when the weather is good, you can directly see Mount Namjagbarwa, but our luck was not so good. The white blizzard forced most cars to stop here.
When passing through Sejila Pass, you need to be careful when driving. Make sure to fasten your seat belt and bring anti-skid chains. You cannot go up the mountain without anti-skid chains. You must drive slowly. There are relatively few viewing platforms on the way up the mountain. I remember there were only two. If you stop to take pictures or rest, be sure to set up warning signs, but it is better not to stop at will.
The more brutal the road, the more beautiful the scenery. There are many cars waiting on the roadside because of the snow. The inconvenience of transportation has kept the most innocent side of Tibet. As long as you have the courage to overcome the dangerous road, you can appreciate the paradise-like scenery with your own eyes.
Seraji Mountain is a famous landmark on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. It is said that the most famous thing about Seraji Mountain is the rhododendrons that cover the mountain. However, I went there at the wrong time and unfortunately missed the blooming season.
You can see "Namjagbarwa" from the top of the mountain, but unfortunately the clouds were too low at that time!
I went there during the Spring Festival and there was snow everywhere. It was a feast for the eyes!
Arriving at the Sejila Pass at an altitude of 4728 meters, you can see the sunrise, the sea of clouds, the endless forest and the handsome and heroic appearance of Mount Nanga Bawa in the distance. It is so beautiful. On the way back, a car of people excitedly played snowballs here and had a lot of fun. . .
The snow had almost melted, there was no traffic jam, and there were not many people on the big rocks at the Sejila Pass, but Namjagbarwa was still not visible.
Sejila Pass is the best place to observe Mount Namjagbarwa, but there is a high probability of encountering heavy fog and dark clouds at Sejila Pass, which is why the so-called Shy Girl Peak comes from this.
It was really super lucky! When we arrived at Sejila Pass at 7 o'clock, Mount Nanga Bawa was only a sharp corner, and then slowly the whole picture appeared! Mount Nanga Bawa in the golden mountain under the sunshine, what a fate!
But it was really cold at Sejila Pass in the evening! My cell phone and camera were frozen to the point of running out of battery.
The prayer flags fluttered at Sejila Pass, which was the most enjoyable part of my trip. The snow was thick, and tourists could go down to play in the snow and take pictures. Of course, be careful not to run to avoid altitude sickness, as the icy road was also very slippery.
I crossed the Sejila Pass twice, and had different experiences. The first time, I met a big sister who invited me to hang prayer flags and offer khatas. The second time, I was with a group of uncles and aunts waiting for the sunset at Nanga Parbat with their cameras. Looking at the changing world, I envy their lives a little.
The Sejila Mountain Pass is 4,728 meters above sea level.
The entire Sejila Mountain is a natural classroom, with dense forests at an altitude of 2,000 meters and no grass at an altitude of 5,000 meters. The constant changes allow you to revisit all the plants you have seen in your life. However, Sejila is most famous for its rhododendrons, which bloom from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain from mid-April to the end of June every year. Especially in June, all the rhododendrons on the mountain are in full bloom. This is a beautiful view that even botanists dream of seeing.
2018-3-31
It happened to rain and snow last night, and Sejila Mountain was covered with heavy snow!
Watch the sunrise at Sejila Mountain.
In fact, watching the sunrise was just a beautiful plan. Before dawn, we drove into National Highway 318 and climbed up the Sejila Mountain at an altitude of 4,700 meters. In the dark blue sky, the mountains were covered with snow as far as the eye could see! The higher we went, the thicker the snow, the thinner the air, and the thicker the clouds - we missed the sunrise on Mount Nanga Bawa. But we didn't care whether there was sunshine or not, because we had already had fun on the top of the mountain. My friends were lying, jumping, throwing snow, and running wild in the thick snow. It was dawn, and it seemed that we were the only ones in the world.
It is said that there was so much snow on Sejila Mountain in the morning that vehicles could hardly move forward. By the time I went up the mountain, the snow on the road had been almost cleared, and there was only snow in places like the viewing platform.
There are two viewing platforms on Mount Sejila. The first one from Lulang is the viewing platform for viewing the rural scenery of Lulang Forest Sea (you can see Mount Benrila). This is the viewing platform on the top of the mountain, but I didn't understand what it was. There was a mountain on the right and a road on the left. Later I learned that there was a plank road across the road from this viewing platform that led directly to the top of the mountain, and you could see the sacred peak of Nanga Bawa on the top of the mountain. Alas, there was not even a sign. Who knew that the viewing platform of Nanga Bawa was across the road?
You can only see Nanga Bawa by walking up the hillside on the left side of the parking lot. You cannot see Nanga Bawa Peak without walking up to the viewing platform on the top of the mountain.
Under the knee-deep snow, the sky and the earth merged into one, all white, with only the colorful prayer flags fluttering in the whistling wind. When the wind blew, the snowflakes hit our faces and bodies, which was extremely refreshing. At this moment, we were extremely excited. Children in the south rarely see snow, and now we are lucky enough to see it and are very happy. Although I grew up in the north, I only have the memory of heavy snow in the sky when I was a child. Now Beijing may not snow for a whole winter. So playing in the snow is like returning to the happy time of childhood, with endless smiles and innocent laughter on my face and ears.
Because I am not very familiar with the mountain, I only know that the master mentioned the pass, which is probably Sejila Mountain. It was snowing heavily, so I couldn't see the distance clearly. Although the snowy mountain scenery is spectacular, it is also quite cold. I didn't have the chance to see that mountain, but I experienced another golden mountain in the sun.
It belongs to the Nyainqentanglha Mountains, with an altitude of 4,720 meters. It is a must-pass place on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway 318. From Lulang to Nyingchi, you have to pass through the Sejila Mountain Pass, which has an altitude of 4,720 meters. Standing on the pass, if the weather is good, you can see Mount Namjagbarwa in the distance.
On the way from Nyingchi to Bomi, you will pass the Sejila Pass, which is at a high altitude. There are many prayer flags at these passes, and there are large open spaces where you can stop and rest to look out. It is said that you can see Mount Namjagbarwa when the weather is fine.
Standing at an altitude of 4700 meters, my heart began to beat rapidly. I felt that I could still bear it physically, so I began to climb the mountain near the mouth of the mountain. As I climbed higher and higher, the mountain became steeper and steeper, and the gravel under my feet began to roll down. Standing at a high place, Namtso was more clearly visible. 100 meters in front of me, a prayer flag was flying in the wind.
The only way from Lhasa to Nyingchi is also the dividing line between different scenery. It is a must to overlook Mount Namjagbarwa from the mountain pass!!!
To go from Nyingchi to Bomi, you must cross the Sejila Pass at an altitude of 4,720 meters. There is an observation deck here where you can see Mount Namjagbarwa from a distance, but whether you can see it depends on your luck. Generally, the probability of seeing it is higher in November or from March to May.
To return to Bayi Town from Lulang Forest Sea, you must pass through the "Sejila Pass". Sejila Mountain is located in the east of Linzhi County, Linzhi Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region. It belongs to the Nyainqentanglha Mountains and is the watershed between the Niyang River Basin and the Parung Tsangpo River. It is crossed by the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. Climbing to the pass at an altitude of 4,720 meters, you can see the sunrise, the sea of clouds, the endless forest and the majestic and majestic appearance of Mount Namjagbarwa in the distance.
The view at Sejila Pass was affected by the weather, but we saw beautiful rhododendrons along the way.
Located next to National Highway G318, parking is available on the roadside, but there are no parking spaces and no public toilets.
The Sezila Mountain in Nyingchi is a great viewing platform, from where you can see the Lulang Forest Sea. If you are lucky, you can also see Mount Namjagbarwa in the distance. If you are even luckier, you can even see the Golden Mountain in the Rizhao.
You must pass this! After Lulang, you will reach Sejila Mountain. If you pass this mountain, you will not be able to reach Nyingchi. The altitude is 4720 meters!
It's a spectacular Sichuan-Tibet line, worth stopping on.
The pass is more than 4,600 meters above sea level. If you are lucky, you can see Mount Nanga Bawa. Very beautiful
The characteristic is a big rock. If it weren't for the snow, this place wouldn't be so beautiful.
It was sunny at the foot of Sejila Mountain, but there was heavy snow on the mountain. There was a viewing platform where you could see Mount Nanga Parvati. When you were about to go down the mountain, there was another viewing platform where you could see the Niyang River from afar. I met a Tibetan who came up on a motorcycle to buy things. He was very simple. I thought he wanted to collect parking fees, but he stretched out his hand to show me his Bodhi beads. There were only three strings in total, and they were all different. He also took out two wolf teeth, one large and one small, and said that he had killed them himself. It was still snowing heavily at the time. I wanted to buy one of his wolf teeth, but I was a little scared when I thought it was a real tooth, hahaha
From Sejila Pass to Lulang Forest Lake:)
The pass is a stone with an altitude mark. If you can see the snow-covered Mount Namjagbarwa, it would be a great attraction... Unfortunately, most of the time you can't see it. We waited for half an hour, but Mount Namjagbarwa was still covered by clouds, so we had to drive away (if you can't see Mount Namjagbarwa, the Sejila Pass is quite ordinary)
On the way from Nyingchi to Ranwu, you will definitely pass through Sejila Mountain, where it is prone to snowing. On the second day after the snow, the temperature rises and the snow melts and turns into ice. You must drive extra carefully at this time.
It must be passing by. Just a stone tablet. No scenery.
This is a mountain with changeable weather. There are only a few days of good weather in a year. If you encounter good weather, you are really lucky.
You must go to see this when you go to Nyingchi. It is really spectacular when you stand on the mountain pass.
Sejila Mountain is located in the east of Nyingchi County and belongs to the Nyainqentanglha Mountains. The pass is 4,720 meters above sea level. There are many varieties of plants and medicinal materials in the Sejila Forest Park at the foot of the mountain. It is known as the world's plant museum. However, in late winter and early spring, after the heavy snow, the world is white and thousands of trees are shrouded in fog. Compared with the continuous snow peaks of Mila Mountain, this place is more gentle and graceful.
The scenery is very good. On this side of the mountain is the vast forest of Lulang, and on the other side is the beautiful Bayi Town. Looking down at the mountain, you will feel like "standing on the top of the mountain, overlooking all the small mountains".
One of the mountain passes we passed through in Linzhi, with an altitude of more than 4,000 meters, is covered with white when it snows.
It takes less than half an hour to drive up to the top. From the colorful flowers at the foot of the mountain to the white snow, you can experience four seasons in one day.
It has been snowing today. It is snowing heavily...
The second peak point on the road from Lhasa to Nyingchi.
Sejila Mountain is located at an altitude of more than 5,000 meters. When you stand at the mountain pass, you will feel that the prayer flags fluttering in the wind are praying for good weather, happiness and health for people all over the world.
Sejila Mountain: Belongs to the Nyainqentanglha Mountains, it is the dividing zone between the eastern and central-western parts of Nyingchi County, Tibet, and the watershed between the Niyang River Basin and the Parlung Tsangpo River. It is crossed by the southern route of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. Climbing to the mountain pass at an altitude of 4,728 meters, you can see the sunrise, the sea of clouds, the endless forest, and the majestic and majestic appearance of Mount Namjagbarwa in the distance.
It happened to be snowing heavily. Although we couldn't go deep into Lulang Forest, we still had a lot of fun playing in the snow.
The weather was cloudy, so I didn't see Mount Nanga Parbat, but I saw the sea of clouds.
The scenery is great, with rolling snow-capped mountains, and I like the prayer flags even more. . . .
The Sejila Pass at an altitude of 4,720 meters is the highest place in Nyingchi and the main viewing point of the Nanbagawa Peak.
In 2012, after graduating from my master's degree, I went to Tibet alone. I met many friends on the way and took a photo together at the Sejila Pass.
The pass is 4,718 meters above sea level, and you can see Mount Namjagbarwa in the distance, but unfortunately I didn’t see it on this trip.
Sejila Pass is the only way to Lulang
Now it's really haha
As soon as you park your car, someone will come up to collect the money.
It's not like before, only the observation deck is charged.
Does Lulang Observation Deck require tickets?
The driver said he would never stop even if he was passing by.
This still collected a few head tickets
What an outrageous charge.
In fact, there are many places where you can see Nanga Bawa, and there is no need to buy tickets for the observation deck.
Because it was a bit cloudy, I could only see a rough idea.
After waiting for more than an hour, the fog was getting thicker and thicker. I had to give up.
Just like Mira Pass, there is no such thing as worth it or not, but you will pass by it.
You can see the canyon, and if you are lucky you can see Mount Nanga Bawa
The feeling of triumphing over oneself when riding a bike is something that people who drive themselves cannot experience.
Located in Linzhi County and Milin County in Tibet, it roughly covers the western periphery of the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon National Nature Reserve, with a total area of 400,000 hectares. The forest coverage rate is as high as 55.1%, with a total of 1,046 species of plants and dozens of precious medicinal materials. It is known as the "World Plant Museum".
