There are Tibetans who can take us up on a motorcycle, but one is that my wife is afraid, and the main reason is that she doesn’t want to have any intersection with these Tibetans who do business, so she gave up! During the climb, Tibetans kept asking if they wanted to hang prayer flags, saying that they could write the names of their family members and he would help hang them up. I didn’t say anything and just shook my head to refuse. In fact, the prayer flags are still very beautiful! The viewing platform looks pretty good! I saw the snow-capped mountains opposite. There were a lot of clouds in the sky, and it seemed to be raining on the other side.

The accommodation area on the Zhaxi Peninsula is very large, with large mobile tents surrounding a large parking lot, and billboards for various restaurants and accommodation can be seen everywhere, which gives it a small town feel. However, these did not attract us at all. I dropped my luggage, carried my camera tripod and ran towards the direction of the Heavenly Lake. At that moment, I was like an innocent child, as ecstatic as I was that day at the holy lake Manasarovar.

You have to go up the mountain, the scenery is better on the mountain, you can overlook Namtso, there is a large area of prefabricated houses at the foot of the mountain, the food and accommodation are expensive and bad. A plate of fried rice is 35, half an egg, it's not enough to eat, bring your own instant noodles. Taking pictures is a rip-off, especially at the lakeside during the peak season. It takes about 15-20 minutes to climb to the high point from the base to choose a good location for taking photos. The specific time depends on your physical condition. It is really hard to wait for the sunrise at an altitude of 4700 at 6 am, especially standing on the top of the Zaxi Peninsula, where there is no shelter from the wind around. The wind is very strong at the seaside, so you still need to take measures to protect yourself from the cold. When I went there, it happened to be cold and the weather changed.
