The most beautiful scenery in Yining is the Yili River. There are not many people passing by every day, but not too few either. After going to Han Street that day and eating lamb chops and lamb legs, I headed to the Yili River. I went to the Yili River several times but never encountered good weather. As a result, the hard work paid off. The Yili River was completely dark at nearly 10 o'clock (in August). After watching the scenery, I took a taxi back with my friends at 10:30 or 11 o'clock. It was not expensive to take a taxi in Yining, which was quite cost-effective. However, it is difficult to get a taxi on the Yili River. You have to walk one kilometer to the intersection, or you can choose a small truck or tricycle.

The river water is clear and refreshing. It is very comfortable to step on the stones in the river. Xiao Yang picked up a beautiful stone. It feels smooth and translucent green. It may be a piece of jade!

The Ili River has a nice view and is a good place to watch the sunset. There are well-maintained roads and wooden plank roads along the river. The scenery is beautiful at dusk and many people walk and exercise here.

The Ili River is an inland river in central Asia and an international river that spans China and Kazakhstan.

It was almost 10 o'clock when we parked the car by the Yili River. The sun was still hanging in the sky and there seemed to be no sign of setting.

Standing on the bridge and looking at the Yili River, the water level of the river is already very low, with most of the riverbed exposed. There are many people standing by the bridge and in the park waiting for the sunset.

At 10:20, the sun began to slowly sink

The afterglow of the setting sun reflected on the sparkling water, which reminded me of the poem "Song of the Dusk River" by Bai Juyi: A ray of setting sun spreads across the water, half of the river is rustling and half of the river is red... It seems to be quite vivid.

Compared to the brightness and hope brought by sunrise, the warmth and beauty brought by sunset are irresistible.

The Ili River is an inland river in central Asia and an international river that crosses China and Kazakhstan. So in a sense, this place is still commemorative! Especially when the sun sets at night, the photos taken are really great!

The sunset was quite beautiful. We went to the old place, which was behind an amusement park. The map navigation was a bit inaccurate, so we had to go nearby and ask the police for directions.

An inland river in Central Asia, an international river that crosses China and Kazakhstan. The main source of the Ili River, the Tekes River, originates from the north side of the Khan Tengri Peak of the Tianshan Mountains, flows eastward through the Zhaosu Basin and Tekes Valley in Xinjiang, China, and then flows northward through the Ishgelik Mountains. After merging with the right bank tributary Gongnaisi River, it is called the Ili River. It flows westward to the Khorgos River and enters Kazakhstan, flows through canyons and desert areas, and flows into Lake Balkhash in Central Asia. From the source of the river to the mouth of the lake, the total length is 1,236 kilometers, and the basin area is 151,000 square kilometers, of which the river is 442 kilometers long in China and the basin area is 5.6 square kilometers.

The sunset over the Yili River is very stunning and indescribably beautiful.

I heard that this is an international river that flows from east to west, and will eventually flow to Kazakhstan and into Lake Balkhash. I got off the car to take a look, and it was indeed true.

There is a dense poplar forest beside the river, which must be beautiful in autumn.

Going further, you will find that the two sides of the river have two completely different appearances.

The riverside is shaded by green trees and dotted with flowers. Cars are coming and going on the Yili Bridge, which is an excellent place to take pictures of the sunset. "Yi Bridge Sunset" has become a good subject for photography enthusiasts. It has also become a place for many newlyweds to take wedding photos.

At dusk on October 5, 2017, we were traveling on National Highway 218, passing by a field of sunflowers, which were bright yellow and dazzling. We saw some people driving by themselves, but unfortunately the tour guide said that it was getting late and we had to hurry into the city to stay overnight.

On the way, we passed the Ili River Valley and watched the clear river meandering around the meadow and flowing slowly to the north. This is the Ili River, which irrigates hundreds of acres of fertile fields nearby. Ili, as an important granary in Xinjiang, also benefits from this Ili River. It flows through Horgos to Kazakhstan.

The tour guide didn't want us to get off the bus at first, but because of the traffic jam, he made an exception and let us take a few photos. Unfortunately, it was dark and we didn't get to take pictures of the beautiful scenery.

There are pebbles on both sides of the river bank. If you are lucky, you can find jade. Unfortunately, our journey still has 10 days, so it is impossible to take these beautiful stones on the road. We can only leave some traces of them.

I always thought the water of the Yili River was very clear, but I was disappointed when I saw it there. The water was actually yellow, almost the same as the Yellow River. There was no beautiful scenery on the shore either.

By Yixuan |

There is construction going on near the bridge. Security is at its tightest at sunset.

It will be particularly beautiful to take pictures of the sunset. There are horses to ride. You can go to Yili, Xinjiang to see it.

I walked around Yining city, but it was already 12 o'clock. I thought that Yining city would have traffic restrictions from 1:00 to 2:00 in the afternoon, and I needed to drive out of the restricted area during this period. Fortunately, the scenic spot I wanted to visit - Yili River Scenic Area was outside the restricted area. I followed the navigation instructions and passed through the entire Yining city and came to Binhe Road.

But I was a little confused when I got there, because the place shown as a scenic spot was actually a large amusement park. It turned out that you had to pass through the amusement park to see the Yili River Scenic Area.

After passing through the playground, I found that it was indeed the Yili River. I don't know why, the river is not very big, and a large part of the beach is exposed. After going down the plank road on the riverside, I came to the riverside. There is actually a pier on the riverside, so there is a sign next to it to prevent people from swimming nearby. However, there are still many children playing on the riverside, and many children are soaking in the water. Children's happiness is always so simple.

The Ili River Bridge next to it looks very ordinary, but when it was first completed, it must have been a sensational event. However, as time passed, the star of that year gradually became silent and became a part of life.

There are horses and camels under the bridge for people to ride and take photos. There are also rocking chairs decorated with flowers on the plank road, but it costs 2 yuan to sit on them and take photos.

It’s a pity that the time was wrong. It might have been more beautiful if we had watched the sunset, but that’s how travel is, it’s impossible to be perfect.

By Guard |

I like to go to the scenic area after dinner. The surrounding scenery is quite nice.

By Panda_Li |

The Ili River is still worth a visit. After all, it is not far from the city. It only costs 15 yuan to take a taxi. There is also a Ferris wheel next to it. Although new bridges are being built around it and there is not much water in the river, it is quite artistic to stand on the Ili Bridge and watch the sun slowly set. November 23, 2017

By Jingahaha |

Next to it is a small amusement park, and there are local children swimming by the river. It's a little dirty, but it's nice to watch the sunset on the bridge.

I stayed in Yining for two days in late August. On the first day, I walked along the Ili River in the evening. The river seemed to be drying up. It was said that this year was the dry season. What a pity. There is an amusement park by the Ili River. The equipment looks very simple. The carriageway and sidewalk on the Ili River Bridge are also relatively narrow. There are 3 or 4 girls taking pictures of the sunset on the bridge. We didn't stay there for too long. There was really no scenery to speak of. On the second day, we set off from Yining in the afternoon and passed through the upper reaches of the Ili River. The scenery was beautiful. Many people took pictures on the viewing platform.

The main source of the Ili River, the Tekes River, originates from the north side of the Khan Tengri Peak of the Tianshan Mountains, flows eastward through the Zhaosu Basin and Tekes Valley in Xinjiang, China, and merges with the Gongnaisi River, a tributary on the right bank, to become the Ili River. The upper reaches of the Ili River are mountain rivers. Above the Ilihe Village, the river is winding and flows through a wide valley with many swamps and lakes. Below the Ili Village, it enters the rocky Kangchagai Gorge that crosses the Kaloy Highlands, and then enters the Kapchagai Gorge, where the famous Kapchagai Hydropower Station is built. The Ili River is beautiful at sunset and is worth a visit.

The Ili River is the mother river of Yining, and the sunset over the Ili River is one of the most beautiful sights in Yining. It was already 9:30 when we arrived at the bridge, and the sun was still high in the sky, with no sign of sunset. There were many pedestrians on the bridge and on the shore, including many tourists like us who came from afar, and even more local citizens who came just to enjoy the beauty of the sunset. The speedboat under the bridge was running in the water, accelerating and turning sharply, which looked thrilling and exciting.

The Yile River originates from a cross-border river in my country. I have visited three of its tributaries, the Tekes River, the Gongnaisi River, and the Kashi River. The Yili region, nourished by the rivers, has naturally become a small Jiangnan. Rice is grown in this place.

Before I came to Yili, I had heard about the spectacular beauty of the Yili River. Today, after dinner, I walked to the Second Bridge of the Yili River just in time for sunset. I have never seen such a beautiful sunset. Although there were no clouds covering it... I couldn't help but keep praising it.

By East China Sea |

I also chose to take pictures of the sunset over the Ili River based on the comments of bee friends online. Now parks have been built on the south and north banks of the Ili River with very good environments. It is also a good place for Ili people to take a walk after dinner. As for taking pictures of the sunset over the Ili River, we have seen many pictures of the sunset over the Ili River which are indeed very beautiful, but not every one of us can take pictures of it. One is that the weather has a certain influence. Second, the performance of the shooting equipment also depends on the generation of high-quality photos. Third, the professional and technical level, as well as the best time to shoot, are determined by many factors. The Ili River is not far from Yining City. The city buses No. 2 and No. 7 pass by and arrive at the Ili River Bridge. If you have time, it is still worth a visit to Ili.

After returning from Sailimu Lake, we drove directly to Yining. At 10 o'clock in the evening, we found that the sun was still high in the sky, so we prepared to go to the Yili River to watch the sunset.

The Ili River Bridge has a particularly high status in the hearts of Yining people. Every evening, ethnic minority men and women hold weddings here. We did not encounter any weddings on the day we arrived, but there were more special police than people, and more people taking pictures than cars on the bridge.

By New Travel Presentation❤️ |

Although the scenery is nice, it is not a must-go. I bought an ice cream nearby and ate it while watching the sunset. It was a good atmosphere.

By Nancheng Huiye |

The Yili River Bridge is the first modern bridge in Yili. I have seen many photographers standing here to take pictures of the sunset, with the whole sky swept by orange. It's a pity that we were unlucky on the day we went there, and the weather was not good, so we didn't appreciate the stunning and beautiful picture.

By Bar Stool General |

On one side of the river is a park and riverside trail, and on the other side is an amusement park. For the city, this is a good place to relax, but to say it is "the most beautiful sunset in China" is a bit of an exaggeration. The bridge is not majestic, and the stunning index of the sunset also needs to be evaluated in combination with the weather and mood. Lower your expectations, hold a normal mind, and come to the bridge to relax for a while if you are lucky.

The Ili River is very popular among the locals. When we went there, we saw many people playing. It was the first time I saw so many people at the same time in Xinjiang. It is said that the Ili River is the traditional holy place for marrying brides and holding wedding ceremonies. Unfortunately, I didn't see it at that time.

The Ili River is a river with local characteristics. In summer, people in Yining will drive their children to the Ili River to play. So, you can also make an appointment with your friends, hold a watermelon, and take a walk around the Ili River. In addition, the sunset over the Ili River is the most unforgettable.

1. Tour experience: Relatively speaking, the scenery of the Ili River is not the most amazing place in Ili, but Ili has become beautiful and full of legends because of the Ili River. When we went there to play, many newlyweds would take their commemorative photos here. Later, I heard that the old man told the love story here. In the hearts of Ili people, this is the birthplace of love. The Ili Bridge crosses the Ili River. The trees on both sides of the Ili River are really lush and beautiful. You can see the sparkling waves on the Ili River. It is not the big rivers in the north of the north, nor the quaint and elegant small towns in the south, but a kind of quiet and peacefulness unique to the northern frontier, neither noisy nor silent.

2. Recommended time to visit: It is best to come to the Yili River at sunset. The sunset scenery here is absolutely beautiful and stunning. I still remember the first time I came to see the sunset. Looking at the light on the lake and the scene at sunset, I was amazed and shed tears. It is true that only nature can bring such beauty.

You can also rent a bicycle nearby and ride along the entire Ili River. What you want here is not a hurried but a peaceful trip.
