The price of buying tickets and interval tickets is not very expensive (you can call to ask for details). We came too early, and many attractions were not open. We only drove to Zhaobi Mountain. The attractions are very, very limited, and you can basically see them in less than an hour, so the ticket price is also very low. I recommend everyone to come again when the weather gets hot, so there will be many places to play. It is very uncomfortable to be in front of the attractions but not allowed to go. The grass is not green, the snow has not completely melted, and the people who eat, rest, and sell things have not started working yet, so it is very deserted. I feel that this place will be very beautiful in summer. I came at the wrong time and left a regret. I will come again in the summer vacation!

Take bus No. 915 at Urumqi South Station, get off at the Zoo bus stop, walk to the Nanjiao Bus Station and take the first bus to Banfanggou at 8:40 in the morning, with a fare of 12 yuan per person. The bus arrives at the terminal Dengcaogou Village at around 11:00. Get off and continue straight ahead for about 350 meters to reach the Tianshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area. Strangely, there is no ticket office here and you cannot enter the Grand Canyon Scenic Area. You must wait for the shuttle bus from the scenic area in front of the scenic area, return to the tourist service center nearly 10 kilometers away, buy the scenic area ticket and shuttle bus ticket, and then re-enter the scenic area. It is about 40 kilometers away from the city, and it takes an hour to drive by yourself. It is considered a very close attraction. Another pitfall of the shuttle bus is that it says Entrance - Zhaobi Mountain Reservoir Dam - Hulukou - Zhaobi Mountain Villa, which makes people think that the bus stops at these points and people can get on and off freely. But after riding it, I found that the bus didn't stop at all. It went straight to the terminus, Zhaobi Mountain Villa. On the way, I saw several places with nice scenery, but the bus didn't stop and there was no way to take a closer look. I could only take a quick look on the bus.

After the dam, the scenery is still good. The sky is blue and the clouds are white. The mountains are green and there are neatly arranged fir trees on them. It looks like the forest of Lulang.

At the foot of the mountain is a very clear lake, reflecting the mountains, trees, blue sky and white clouds. The scenery is very nice.

When the car arrived at Zhaobi Villa, there are artificial waterfalls and cable bridges, and the clear water makes the scenery very beautiful. After the waterfall, we went up the mountain along the plank road. There were many tourists going up, but there were also many coming down. Later, we found out the reason. It turned out that the plank road was not circular. You had to go down from where you went up. This design is also intoxicating.

After coming down, I found that Zhaobi Villa was only this big and there was nothing new to see. I ran to the bridge and cable bridge in front and took a look around. That was the end of my visit to Zhaobi Villa.

It was just past 11 o'clock at this time, and it felt like it would be too meaningless to go back. However, if I continued to Swan Lake, there was still 9 kilometers to go, and I couldn't get there without taking the shuttle bus. But taking the shuttle bus would cost another 40 yuan, which was really depressing.

Actually, this shuttle bus is also quite a rip-off, because the information given to us said it was a loop, and Swan Lake was at the other end of the loop. When I asked the staff if it was a loop, they all avoided the question, but it felt like it was a loop. In the end, I found out that it was actually going back and forth along the shortest route, with no scenery to see in the middle, not to mention stopping at places like the Shentuofeng.

Finally we arrived at the destination. After getting off the car, we found that there was a large grassland on the left and some hills on the right. At the foot of the hills there was a small lake. The water in the lake was relatively clear. This was Swan Lake.

There is still some distance from the parking place to the grassland below. We carefully went down to the grassland. The scenery here is quite good.

Grand Canyon and Tianchi are must-see places

It was the first time for a kid from the south to see such a geological canyon. It was really strange. The whole walk was not very long. It was said that the most exciting section was destroyed due to some geological reasons. It seemed that it would never be opened again. It was a pity. I also had rice noodles outside the scenic area for lunch. It was very delicious. The size of the canyon was still amazing, with all the fiery red rock walls. However, it was very cool and comfortable after entering the scenic area. In short, it is recommended.

The Grand Canyon that I arrived at according to the traffic instructions in China-TravelNote is completely different from the one in the picture, and the two places are also very far apart. I originally went to the red rock canyon, but when I got there, I saw the forest grassland lake. I was really confused! Briefly talk about my experience: I bought a ticket to Banfanggou at the suburban passenger station on Huanghe Road and Tian Street. There is a scenic spot ticket point in the station. I bought a ticket for the Grand Canyon there for 65 yuan per ticket, which can save the trouble of turning back a few hundred meters to the scenic spot ticket point after reaching the end. The scenic area shuttle bus is 50 yuan per person, but it can only go for a 12-kilometer section of the road. The shuttle bus is not available at the more rugged locations on the mountain. If you want to go around the park, you still have to walk a long way after getting off the shuttle bus, at least 20 kilometers. You can get a private car near the end, which is also 50 yuan per person. You can take you around inside. You can stop at any time where you want to take pictures, and you can pay when you come out. The landscape near Tianshan is roughly the same, and the artificial traces here are also more obvious. If you have been to similar attractions, I personally don’t have much need to come here again. Driving to cool off in the summer is a good choice.

In addition to the entrance fee, you need to pay 50 yuan to drive in. Just walk along the road. It is very cold inside, so it is best to wear a thin down jacket/fleece. The scenery from the top of the mountain is particularly beautiful.

In general, the artificial traces in the Tianshan Grand Canyon are too obvious. After visiting Tianchi, this place should be ignored.

Since the previous trip was shortened, we had one more day in Urumqi. We chose the Grand Canyon between Tianshan Mountain and Tianshan Grand Canyon. We set off after breakfast at around 10am and arrived at the Grand Canyon at around 12am. The total cost for 4 people plus the car ticket was 350. There were no other paid attractions in the scenic area. We saw a lot of people taking wedding photos at Swan Lake. There was a winding mountain road to the top of the mountain. Just then, a dark cloud was about to float over. The strong wind was so cold that I got bronchitis after returning home. . . . . .

Just came back from Tianshan Grand Canyon. When I saw the red Grand Canyon on the hornet's nest, I thought I hadn't found the Grand Canyon for a whole day, but there was a stone with its name written on it at the entrance to the scenic area. Fortunately, someone posted a complaint! The picture in the hornet's nest should be wrong. The reservoir not far from the entrance is quite interesting. The water separated by a pedestrian bridge in the middle is actually two colors. The green mountains are lush in the distance. There are many sharp turns on the mountain road leading to Swan Lake. Fortunately, there are not many people in June. The grassland by Swan Lake is very dirty. There are countless garbage and mineral water bottles on it. The grass is not so lush. There are many men and women who should be Kazakhs waving to let them go horseback riding, 60 for half an hour and 80 for an hour. I was holding my child, 2 years old, and the child started to be a little curious. I felt very hesitant, so they kept pulling me to persuade us to ride for an hour. They also pushed me directly. Fortunately, as soon as I went up, the child was scared, and I quickly came down. They are simple, but they are still quite insecure in this regard. I feel there is no supervision. I felt like I was in a hurry to make money regardless of the consequences. Later, I went to the yurts nearby to eat and drink horse milk. It was too sour. I couldn't get used to it and my throat hurt. The accent that seemed to be able to talk to us was from Shaanxi. The pilaf and barbecue were not as delicious as in Urumqi city. Fortunately, I came across a large red bean grassland on the way home. It was so beautiful. This was an unexpected gain. In general, you won't regret it if you take a look, and it doesn't matter if you don't take a look.

There are many tourists who drive to the Tianshan Grand Canyon, most of them are probably local tourists.

The infrastructure is good and from what we experienced the locals and staff were great.

If you have more time and budget and want to explore more around Urumqi, the Tianshan Grand Canyon is a good choice.

But this also depends on the purpose of your travel.

The biggest advantage of Tianshan Grand Canyon is that you can drive up the mountain by yourself, unlike some scenic spots where you can only park your car at the door, and you need to walk or pay a high price to take the scenic bus to the mountain. I went there at the end of April, it was raining in Urumqi, and the road to Tianshan Grand Canyon was closed due to snow! The car was not allowed to go up the mountain after reaching Swan Lake, and I only saw one-third of the scenery. Also because of the snow, the ticket discount price was 45, and it actually included lunch! Although it was just vegetarian pilaf or pie with hot soup, it was already a great convenience. By the way, the public toilets in the visitor center were also very clean.

Serious complaints! ! Focus on the key point in one sentence: The red canyon picture in the scenic spot is wrong! ! ! That is the "Mysterious Grand Canyon of Tianshan Mountains", which is in Kuche County, 700 to 800 kilometers away from Urumqi City! The real "Grand Canyon of Tianshan Mountains" should be the feel of green grassland! I was attracted by the majestic red canyon pictures in the scenic spot pictures! I didn't realize that the atmosphere was not right when I arrived at the scenic spot! I showed the pictures in the hornet's nest to the staff, and they said it was not here at all! It was completely a big stun!!! The scenery that can be visited in winter is very limited. There is nothing to see in Zhaobi Mountain. It is more than ten kilometers to Swan Lake. Many roads in the scenic area are closed in winter. I was so angry that I left without taking a single photo!!! I came back and carefully looked at the ticket office that others took pictures of. It said the Mysterious Grand Canyon of Tianshan Mountains. I searched it and fucked! It turned out to be two places! Friends must keep their eyes open! ! Find out where you are going! ! If you take the bus, buy a ticket to Banfanggou at Zhongqiao Bus Station (Suburban Bus Station) and ride to the end. The outbound trip costs 13 yuan (including 1 yuan insurance) and the return trip costs 12 yuan. There is no shuttle bus in the scenic area in winter. If you need to charter a car, you can find someone at Guangming Store opposite the terminal. It costs 30 yuan a one-way trip to Zhaobi Mountain, and 60 yuan for a round trip. The entrance fee with the chartered driver is 20 yuan (original price 45 yuan). There are many delicious foods on Huanghe Road near the station. I recommend the milk tea house and Ah Zhen rice noodles.

I think Xinjiang is a place with Gobi desert and yellow sand everywhere. Of course, that may be Turpan. I never dreamed that Tianshan Grand Canyon would be so beautiful. Tianshan Grand Canyon is suitable for autumn. Of course, it is also cool in summer. You can't go there without long sleeves. The mountains there rise from the ground in a harmonious and staggered manner, majestic and magnificent, unlike the delicate and elegant ones in the mainland; the trees there are coniferous trees, which can only be seen at high latitudes, verdant and vigorous, and lined up one after another; the water there is clear and cold, the holy water of Tianshan; the air there is a mixture of barbarism and nature. Modern civilization is incompatible here. With a pure heart, listen to the song "The First Snow of 2002" and have a hearty release!

Tianshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area is located in Urumqi County, 48 kilometers away from the city. It is a national AAAA-level scenic area.
