A natural scenic area dominated by snow-capped mountains, forests, lakes and grasslands, it is a place for local residents to go hiking in the summer.
The reddish-brown rocks on both sides of the canyon are carved by wind and rain. The canyon has winding paths and various shapes of mountains that reach into the sky.
You can see all the scenery in Xinjiang, and every place is a good place for photography.
There are many Kazakh herdsmen’s yurts in the canyon, which provide special delicacies such as mutton. You can enjoy the delicious food between the mountains and rivers, which is very pleasant.

We drove to Tianshan Grand Canyon during the Qingming Festival this year. I personally think it is troublesome to drive there. It may be that there is something wrong with our Amap navigation. The road there is very bumpy and the driving is very slow. There are also many speed checks on the back section of the road, which is a headache for every 300 meters. But when we came out, it was very smooth all the way. It may be that the navigation chose the wrong route. The entrance of the scenic area may be more than ten or twenty kilometers away from the mountains. The price of buying tickets and interval tickets is not very expensive (you can call to ask for details). We came too early, and many attractions were not open. We only drove to Zhaobi Mountain. The attractions are very, very limited, and you can basically see them in less than an hour, so the ticket price is also very low. I recommend everyone to come again when the weather gets hot, so there will be many places to play. It is very uncomfortable to be in front of the attractions but not allowed to go. The grass is not green, the snow has not completely melted, and the people who eat, rest, and sell things have not started working yet, so it is very deserted. I feel that this place will be very beautiful in summer. I came at the wrong time and left a regret. I will come again in the summer vacation!
Although the Tianshan Grand Canyon is far inferior to Nalati, it is still a pleasant surprise to come to the green grassland from the barren southern Xinjiang. Ride horses, climb mountains, take photos, and have fun.
There are many attractions in the scenic area. You can take the shuttle bus to visit Bilong Bay, Taizi Lake, and Tianshan Dam, continue to walk forward to visit Hulukou, take photos of the Buddha head on Bishan Mountain from a distance, visit the Swan Lake Scenic Area, go deep into the Tianshan Mountains, feel the charm of the Tianshan Mountains, the forests and glaciers of the Tianshan Mountains, and appreciate the infinite scenery of the Tianshan nature.
Take bus No. 915 at Urumqi South Station, get off at the Zoo bus stop, walk to the Nanjiao Bus Station and take the first bus to Banfanggou at 8:40 in the morning, with a fare of 12 yuan per person. The bus arrives at the terminal Dengcaogou Village at around 11:00. Get off and continue straight ahead for about 350 meters to reach the Tianshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area. Strangely, there is no ticket office here and you cannot enter the Grand Canyon Scenic Area. You must wait for the shuttle bus from the scenic area in front of the scenic area, return to the tourist service center nearly 10 kilometers away, buy the scenic area ticket and shuttle bus ticket, and then re-enter the scenic area. Of course, it is free to take the shuttle bus from the scenic area to the tourist center.
As soon as I got off the car, I was shivering in the cold wind! Although I wore a down jacket, the wind chilled us to the bone!
In the public toilet on the left side of the gate, as soon as I opened the door, I heard a familiar Xinjiang music, and several older women in skirts were dancing. It is said that they are from Karamay, and they all look very wealthy. They are also here to visit the Tianshan Grand Canyon today. Seeing how thin they are wearing, I really admire them!
There are actually many scenic spots in the Tianshan Grand Canyon, but due to weather reasons, many scenic spots are closed, such as Swan Lake, Qiaoya Grassland, Shimen, Tianmen and other scenic spots are not open.
The water resources here are still very abundant. Seeing this man-made waterfall, it feels like you have arrived in the south of the Yangtze River.
It took half an hour from buying the ticket, checking the ticket to getting on the shuttle bus. The warm and thoughtful service of the scenic area staff reminded me of what the teacher said in elementary school Chinese class, "Xinjiang is a multi-ethnic region, and the local people are warm and hospitable." It is indeed true.
Sitting in the shuttle bus, we shuttled through the scenic area's Ten-Li Scenic Avenue and the Twelve Lotus Lakes. The lakes were connected and descended from the heights one after another, like a pearl chain falling from the sky, dotted in the middle of the Grand Canyon. The morning sun shone through the car window and fell on the faces of tourists sitting by the window. Bathing in the sun, squinting slightly, the sweet voice came from the scenic area tour guide. Suddenly, I felt that it was great to be young, and the voice was so beautiful. Sitting in the shuttle bus through the ticket gate and officially entering the scenic area, probably because of the speed limit in the scenic area, the shuttle bus did not drive very fast, and the tour guide was not in a hurry to explain the scenic spots outside the window to tourists, as if it was just in time, everything was just right.
It is 48 kilometers away from the city. You can take a bus (take the bus from Huanghe Road Zhongqiao Bus Station to Banfanggou. You can get there or drive yourself). After arriving, you can go to the ticket office to buy a ticket. It's still very happy. After all, the scenery is still good.
It is about 40 kilometers away from the city, and it takes an hour to drive by yourself. It is considered a very close attraction. When driving by yourself, please choose the location (Silk Road International Ski Resort). If you choose Tianshan Grand Canyon, the route will take four hours. The main attractions of Tianshan Grand Canyon are closed, but there are few people.
Entering the first scenic spot in Duku
Tianshan Grand Canyon, the strange shapes after entering the canyon
Snow Mountain Tianchi is OK and worth a visit!!
Only a quarter of the scenic area was open. I finished the tour in less than an hour, but it took more than two hours on the way. It's not worth it.
◟(.öˬö.)◞It's more than ten degrees below zero in the Tianshan Grand Canyon. My feet are frozen when I step on the snow. The whole way is white. It's the off-season and there's no one. I'm really happy to see snow for the first time, hahahaha
Unexpectedly beautiful, although only some attractions are open, it is still worth it!!!
The Tianshan Grand Canyon is orange, yellow, and red all over, which gives it a very majestic feel, but it’s also okay to walk inside, after all, our country is not short of such places.
Walking in the woods of the Tianshan Grand Canyon, I felt that this was the forest I wanted. There were no steps, just dirt roads to climb. The ground was covered with pine needles and pine cones, dotted with small flowers and grasses. I felt that all I lacked was a little red cloak.
It feels like looking down at the Zada Earth Forest. If the sun shines sideways, it should be very beautiful.
There are many Kazakh herdsmen's yurts in the canyon, which provide special food such as mutton. You can enjoy the delicious food between the mountains and rivers, which is very pleasant. So you can also experience the nomadic life of herdsmen when you come here.
You can go up to the top of Maya Mountain. Next to it is Bogda Snow Mountain. It is beautiful, but the ticket is 156. You need to take a cable car for 220 to get in. The price is a bit high, and you have to climb the mountain by yourself.
The day we went there was sunny, and it was really pleasant to see the endless grassland and the horses running freely. It should be more beautiful in summer, with green grass, blue sky and white clouds, and running horses... We want to go again in summer, let's look forward to it. PS: It's very windy on the mountain, so you should wear more clothes, and it's best to bring a hat and mask, it will really make you doubt your life.
The steep cliffs of the Kuqa Tianshan Grand Canyon give it a mysterious face, and the bright red color makes it even more mysterious.
The Yadan landform, which is more than ten kilometers long, is not only majestic and steep, but also deep, peaceful and mysterious...
This Grand Canyon is not the Grand Canyon of the Red Danxia Landform, everyone please pay attention!!! But it is very close to Urumqi, and the transportation is still very convenient. The scenery is also OK, you can go and see it if you have enough time. But when I went there in September, the grass was yellow. . It’s better to go early
At first, I wanted to go to Tianshan Ranch. The driver said that he would recommend the Grand Canyon. However, it was cloudy that day, and there was no blue sky and white clouds, so the photo effect was much worse. It was also very cold. The temperature there changes too much, so I must bring good clothes and keep warm.
This is the heart of the Tianshan Grand Canyon - Swan Lake, blue sky and white clouds, eagles, grasslands, mountains, everything! This kind of natural scenery is rare in the inland, very beautiful! It's worth a visit!
My mother's friend has a yard in Nanshan, so she picks vegetables, makes fire, grills meat and cooks for herself. Wild tours in scenic spots are a school of their own. The highest level of play is to entertain yourself and go wherever you want. Scenic spots are man-made products, but there are no roads and no boundaries. Especially in Xinjiang, you can walk from one hill to another as long as you have enough energy.
Tianshan Grand Canyon is a national AAAAA-level scenic spot, a national forest park, a national sports and leisure base, a national fitness and expansion training base, a national hiking base, and a national fitness and mountaineering training base. Tianshan Grand Canyon is located in Urumqi County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, 48 kilometers away from the city. It is a pleasant, cool and comfortable place to visit and escape the summer heat.
The Tianshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area is only 48 kilometers away from the city, which is very close and the road is easy to walk on, but the scenery is average, with too many artificial modifications and is not very interesting.
After entering the scenic area, most tourists stayed near Zhaobi Mountain. We decided to take the shuttle bus to go deeper. Not far from the end of the shuttle bus is a scenic spot called Swan Lake. We stared at the lake for a long time. In fact, we didn't see a single swan here. The reason for staring was not because the scenery was so beautiful, but because there was nowhere to go and there were few people here.
There are horse riding activities on the grassland by the lake, but we had no desire to ride at all. We just walked around or sat and daydreamed.
The only attraction worth visiting on the way is the Tianshan Grand Canyon. It was the hottest time of the day when we arrived at the Grand Canyon, but most of the attractions in Xinjiang are magical. Even if the sun is strong, the wind is cool on the body. We still took the shuttle bus, but I still like the canyon. I always feel that the waterfall-like water flow is very imposing.
Tianshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area is located in Urumqi County, 48 kilometers away from the city. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, the scenic area is the most complete and most ornamental original snow spruce forest on the northern slope of Tianshan Mountain. It encompasses all the natural landscapes in Xinjiang except the desert. It has been rated as a national forest park, a national sports and leisure base, and a national 5A scenic area. There are eight unique attractions in the scenic area, namely Tianshanba Leisure Area, Zhaobi Mountain Resort and Recreation Area, Gasidaban Scenic Area, Swan Lake Natural Scenic Area, Niuyao Lake Linhai Songtao Scenic Area, Kazakh Ethnic Customs Park, Alpine Grassland Ecological Area, and Snow Mountain Glacier Scenic Area.
It is recommended to enter the park early and not to join a one-day tour! Because only by going deep into the mountains can you experience the beautiful scenery of the mountains. A round-trip bus ride will waste the beautiful scenery. If you have enough time, walking around the scenic area is a good choice if you can keep up with the physical strength! Many scenery cannot be brought back with a camera... Of course, my own photography skills are limited! There are many tourists in good months. Before you go, you can check in advance whether the cable car is open, so you can play one more project! Almost all the projects in the scenic area are charged, so the ticket plus the scenic area shuttle bus are the basic necessary expenses, and you can choose not to participate in other things! The mobile phone picture is rubbish, and I am too lazy to upload the photos taken with the camera...ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ
I didn't expect the Tianshan Grand Canyon to be so beautiful. I think it's worth it. Highly recommended.
Tianshan Grand Canyon is about 100 kilometers away from Urumqi city. It is more than 2,000 meters above sea level. The temperature is cooler than Urumqi. It is about 2 or 3 degrees hotter than Kunming. It is a bit cool in the morning. You need to wear a coat.
I like grasslands and waterfalls, and I enjoy them quietly.
A strange land from the west, a spiritual land outside the world. Four mountains swallow up the vastness, and one green wipes the clear sky.
National 5A-level scenic spot. Tickets are 75 yuan, and sightseeing buses are 50 yuan. It is about 50 kilometers from Urumqi and takes about 1 hour to drive.
This time, I followed the weathervane outdoor travel network to the Tianshan Grand Canyon.
I heard the director's caring care and explanation along the way.
The mysterious "Grand Canyon of Tianshan" is a canyon in the Kizilya Mountain, a branch of the Tianshan Mountains. It was formed by reddish-brown rocks through wind and rain erosion over billions of years.
The reddish-brown mountains of the "Tianshan Grand Canyon" reach straight into the sky, and under the sunlight, they look like clusters of burning flames.
The charm of the Tianshan Grand Canyon lies not only in its magnificence and steepness, but also in its depth, tranquility and mystery.
The road along the way is beautiful and worth visiting. There is Swan Lake and open grassland.
✨2011.7.9✨
A trip to Xinjiang seven years ago ~ My best friend and her family drove me to the North Mountain of Tianshan Mountain. We rented a yurt, ate a whole lamb (made grilled lamb skewers and pilaf), rode horses, climbed mountains, and had a relaxing and fun day. I love the weather, air, and people here. Friends from Urumqi city also came here for a picnic.
The scenery is average, there are only two attractions, the worst thing is the shuttle bus, it's too inhumane
This is a paid scenic spot, and the ticket price is about 60 yuan. The canyon is mainly red rocks, which is very unique. You can go there to visit, and the general visit time is about 2 hours.
In general, it is still very good. The naan halfway up the mountain is really delicious.
It should be beautiful in autumn. Winter is a different kind of northern scenery. The main thing is that you can't go in March, the snow has melted and the flowers haven't bloomed.
The Tianshan Grand Canyon is over 2,000 meters high and is suitable for everyone to climb with bare hands. It is really nice.
Before the tour, I originally planned to go to the ticket office. I called to ask, and the staff said that I had to go to the visitor center. OK! I exchanged the Kakatong ticket at the online ticket office, but I had to go to another window to buy the intercity ticket. Fortunately, there were many people, so we could go separately. I scanned the ID card and got a Kakatong ticket.
However, the shuttle bus is a rip-off. It is divided into two sections. One section is from the entrance to the Zhaobi Mountain Reservoir Dam, Hulukou, and Zhaobi Villa, and the other section is from Zhaobi Villa to Swan Lake. The price of the first section is 30 yuan, and the price of the second section is 40 yuan, and all are round-trip tickets. Later, I found that no one did not take this bus, because the distance from the entrance to the scenic spot is too far. I think the gate was built so far away in the first place just to make money from this shuttle bus!
Another pitfall of the shuttle bus is that it says Entrance - Zhaobi Mountain Reservoir Dam - Hulukou - Zhaobi Mountain Villa, which makes people think that the bus stops at these points and people can get on and off freely. But after riding it, I found that the bus didn't stop at all. It went straight to the terminus, Zhaobi Mountain Villa. On the way, I saw several places with nice scenery, but the bus didn't stop and there was no way to take a closer look. I could only take a quick look on the bus.
After the dam, the scenery is still good. The sky is blue and the clouds are white. The mountains are green and there are neatly arranged fir trees on them. It looks like the forest of Lulang.
At the foot of the mountain is a very clear lake, reflecting the mountains, trees, blue sky and white clouds. The scenery is very nice.
When the car arrived at Zhaobi Villa, there are artificial waterfalls and cable bridges, and the clear water makes the scenery very beautiful. After the waterfall, we went up the mountain along the plank road. There were many tourists going up, but there were also many coming down. Later, we found out the reason. It turned out that the plank road was not circular. You had to go down from where you went up. This design is also intoxicating.
After coming down, I found that Zhaobi Villa was only this big and there was nothing new to see. I ran to the bridge and cable bridge in front and took a look around. That was the end of my visit to Zhaobi Villa.
It was just past 11 o'clock at this time, and it felt like it would be too meaningless to go back. However, if I continued to Swan Lake, there was still 9 kilometers to go, and I couldn't get there without taking the shuttle bus. But taking the shuttle bus would cost another 40 yuan, which was really depressing.
Actually, this shuttle bus is also quite a rip-off, because the information given to us said it was a loop, and Swan Lake was at the other end of the loop. When I asked the staff if it was a loop, they all avoided the question, but it felt like it was a loop. In the end, I found out that it was actually going back and forth along the shortest route, with no scenery to see in the middle, not to mention stopping at places like the Shentuofeng.
Finally we arrived at the destination. After getting off the car, we found that there was a large grassland on the left and some hills on the right. At the foot of the hills there was a small lake. The water in the lake was relatively clear. This was Swan Lake.
There is still some distance from the parking place to the grassland below. We carefully went down to the grassland. The scenery here is quite good.
Grand Canyon and Tianchi are must-see places
Tianshan Grand Canyon is also part of the Tianshan Scenic Area. There are many buses departing from Urumqi city, and the time is relatively short. It is an excellent choice for short trips. However, if you have already been to Kanas to see the glacial landforms, glacial lakes, plateau lakes, forests, meadows and other scenery, you can ignore this place. But if you are new to Xinjiang, you can choose one or two attractions to do a round-up. Tianshan Grand Canyon is still a good choice. There are two shuttle buses. I wrote the price in the travel notes. If you want to know, you can go to the travel notes.
Before arriving at Kuqa, we first went to the Tianshan Grand Canyon. Some people call it the Antelope Canyon of China. In fact, wouldn’t it be better if someone called the Antelope Canyon the Tianshan Grand Canyon of the United States?
This is just a section of the canyon in the Tianshan Mountains. The official Tianshan Grand Canyon is in Urumqi County. This is the easternmost section of the Tianshan Mountains, and the mobile phone signal is very poor along the way.
You must go and see the geological landscape.
We traveled thousands of miles to Xinjiang to visit Tianshan Grand Canyon. We failed three times. Finally it was open to the public. It was only open to Zhaobi Villa. We didn't even see one-fifth of the scenic spots. We were still given full tickets. How shameless and rip-off.
Tianchi is precious, and the dragon body with Tianchi means wealth and prosperity
The Tianshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area consists of Bizhao Mountain and Swan Lake. Bizhao Mountain is densely covered with pure Tianshan spruce forests and surrounded by water on three sides. Due to its unique terrain, it can produce unique natural landscapes such as a line of peaks and a sunrise after three days of rain. There are few good restaurants there, some takeaway snacks and open-air casserole stalls, and only one slightly larger restaurant is almost booked by travel agencies. If you are going there alone, you might as well bring more food reserves.
You can't drive up by private car, but you can take the scenic area bus for 50 yuan per person. But! But, the bus stopped halfway up! You can only walk! ! You can't see many scenery! A little disappointed!
The mysterious Tianshan Grand Canyon is located in Kuche County, Xinjiang. There are few people at the scenic spot, but it is more comfortable to visit. The whole scenic area is a long and narrow road, walk in and then return. The road behind is basically accompanied by streams on the ground, and the ground is also sandy and it is easy to wet your shoes. Many places need to step over the water, so it is best to go in slippers or barefoot.
There are many man-made waterfalls in Tianshan Mountain. A small cup of kava costs 10 yuan in the scenic area. Private cars are no longer allowed to enter. The ticket is 75 yuan. The shuttle bus fare seems to be 40 or 50. The shuttle bus is quite untimely. The current shuttle bus can only take you to Swan Lake. There are many beverage bottles and garbage around Swan Lake, and no one cleans them up. The current route is equivalent to one-third of the previous loop line. You may have to pay to take a 4-wheel motorcycle to go to Tianmen to see the beautiful scenery.
I saw the photos of the reddish-brown rock canyon online and decided to give up Tianchi and come here. I was so disappointed. I didn't know how it was ranked like that! Liar, liar, liar
Very rubbish scenic spot, the shuttle bus charges are very high, the key is that the service and management are too poor. Yesterday I waited for more than an hour in the sun before I got on the shuttle bus up and down the mountain. The natural scenery of the scenic spot is OK.
It's a very bad attraction. I saw on China-TravelNote that you can drive a self-driving tour, but when I got to the gate, I was told that self-driving tours are not open now. You can only take a sightseeing bus. You can only go to Zhaobi Mountain and Swan Lake. Other sightseeing bus attractions cannot be visited. The ticket price is 75 yuan, which is not less. The sightseeing bus is 30 yuan per person for a round trip. It can only go to Zhaobi Mountain. When I asked how much it costs to get to Swan Lake, I was told to ask again when I got to Zhaobi Mountain. It has been raining all day and it is very cold. I wore a jacket and a liner and it was OK in Zhaobi Mountain. The ticket to Swan Lake is 40 yuan per person for a round trip, about 9 kilometers. After arriving at Swan Lake, there are no swans, but there are many horses on the grassland. Because it rained, no one rode horses, and it was very cold, even colder than Zhaobi Mountain. There was also a strong wind. I guess I had to wear a down jacket and warm pants. I just sat indoors for a while and went down the mountain. If the weather is clear, the grassland is not bad, and Zhaobi Mountain is very ordinary. There are similar views in many places. The public facilities are not good. There are only ten toilets. You have to queue up every time you go in, and it smells very bad. Some seats may not be flushed clean.
It was the first time for a kid from the south to see such a geological canyon. It was really strange. The whole walk was not very long. It was said that the most exciting section was destroyed due to some geological reasons. It seemed that it would never be opened again. It was a pity. I also had rice noodles outside the scenic area for lunch. It was very delicious. The size of the canyon was still amazing, with all the fiery red rock walls. However, it was very cool and comfortable after entering the scenic area. In short, it is recommended.
The scenery is beautiful. The snow had just melted when I went there. The water was a little muddy. It was so beautiful to bask in the sun on the lawn.
A newly promoted 5A-level scenic spot, located in the mountains south of Urumqi, it is a summer resort with beautiful scenery, including artificial lakes, forests, canyons, and grasslands.
Experience the herdsmen’s idyllic life, a great place for leisure and vacation.
Tianshan Grand Canyon is a natural scenic area dominated by snow-capped mountains, forests, lakes and grasslands.
The two sides of the Grand Canyon are made of reddish-brown rocks carved by wind and rain. The canyon has winding paths, the mountains are in various shapes, and the peaks reach the sky.
Here you can see all the scenery of Xinjiang, including snow-capped mountains, canyons, flowing water, etc. Every place is a good place for photography.
There are also many Kazakh herdsmen’s yurts in the canyon, which provide special foods such as mutton. You can enjoy the delicious food among the mountains and rivers, which is very pleasant.
Actually it is the Zhaobi Mountain Reservoir and the highway, but the scenery is nice.
Bullshit...
The hornet's nest picture does not match
…
The scenery is nice~ The climate in the scenic area is pleasant, and it is a summer resort~. It is cheaper to buy tickets on Qunar.com than to buy them directly in the scenic area. Private cars can enter. The skewers in the felt house by Swan Lake are super authentic and delicious~~~
Open the world map and you can see the largest land on earth, which is the Eurasian continent. In the northeast corner of the hinterland of this continent is the world-famous ancient Western Regions, and in the middle of the Western Regions is the ancient Kingdom of Qiuci, where the current Tianshan Grand Canyon is located!
You can't enter this place whenever you want. You can't enter when it rains, when there's a mudslide, when there's a landslide, and finally when you're late. I've avoided all the unexpected events, but I couldn't avoid the closing time here. I arrived late that day and the gate was locked. I had no choice but to return and visit you again. At the southern end of the Duku Highway, you can see the magnificent Kezilya Mountain Scenic Area, where the Red Mountain Stone Forest is magnificent. Not only that, the mysterious Tianshan Grand Canyon nearby also shocked the world with its winding and deep paths.
In addition, the Buddhist cave "Aai Grottoes" excavated in the Tang Dynasty was discovered in the canyon. There are exquisite murals in the caves. The Kuche River has always been along one side of the road. When the road passes through the "Flame Zone" on the southern foot of the Tianshan Mountains, it is replaced by steep rock walls, green grass, thorns with passionate yellow flowers blooming, and scattered pine trees.
The Grand Canyon that I arrived at according to the traffic instructions in China-TravelNote is completely different from the one in the picture, and the two places are also very far apart. I originally went to the red rock canyon, but when I got there, I saw the forest grassland lake. I was really confused! Briefly talk about my experience: I bought a ticket to Banfanggou at the suburban passenger station on Huanghe Road and Tian Street. There is a scenic spot ticket point in the station. I bought a ticket for the Grand Canyon there for 65 yuan per ticket, which can save the trouble of turning back a few hundred meters to the scenic spot ticket point after reaching the end. The scenic area shuttle bus is 50 yuan per person, but it can only go for a 12-kilometer section of the road. The shuttle bus is not available at the more rugged locations on the mountain. If you want to go around the park, you still have to walk a long way after getting off the shuttle bus, at least 20 kilometers. You can get a private car near the end, which is also 50 yuan per person. You can take you around inside. You can stop at any time where you want to take pictures, and you can pay when you come out. The landscape near Tianshan is roughly the same, and the artificial traces here are also more obvious. If you have been to similar attractions, I personally don’t have much need to come here again. Driving to cool off in the summer is a good choice.
In addition to the entrance fee, you need to pay 50 yuan to drive in. Just walk along the road. It is very cold inside, so it is best to wear a thin down jacket/fleece. The scenery from the top of the mountain is particularly beautiful.
In general, the artificial traces in the Tianshan Grand Canyon are too obvious. After visiting Tianchi, this place should be ignored.
Since the previous trip was shortened, we had one more day in Urumqi. We chose the Grand Canyon between Tianshan Mountain and Tianshan Grand Canyon. We set off after breakfast at around 10am and arrived at the Grand Canyon at around 12am. The total cost for 4 people plus the car ticket was 350. There were no other paid attractions in the scenic area. We saw a lot of people taking wedding photos at Swan Lake. There was a winding mountain road to the top of the mountain. Just then, a dark cloud was about to float over. The strong wind was so cold that I got bronchitis after returning home. . . . . .
Just came back from Tianshan Grand Canyon. When I saw the red Grand Canyon on the hornet's nest, I thought I hadn't found the Grand Canyon for a whole day, but there was a stone with its name written on it at the entrance to the scenic area. Fortunately, someone posted a complaint! The picture in the hornet's nest should be wrong. The reservoir not far from the entrance is quite interesting. The water separated by a pedestrian bridge in the middle is actually two colors. The green mountains are lush in the distance. There are many sharp turns on the mountain road leading to Swan Lake. Fortunately, there are not many people in June. The grassland by Swan Lake is very dirty. There are countless garbage and mineral water bottles on it. The grass is not so lush. There are many men and women who should be Kazakhs waving to let them go horseback riding, 60 for half an hour and 80 for an hour. I was holding my child, 2 years old, and the child started to be a little curious. I felt very hesitant, so they kept pulling me to persuade us to ride for an hour. They also pushed me directly. Fortunately, as soon as I went up, the child was scared, and I quickly came down. They are simple, but they are still quite insecure in this regard. I feel there is no supervision. I felt like I was in a hurry to make money regardless of the consequences. Later, I went to the yurts nearby to eat and drink horse milk. It was too sour. I couldn't get used to it and my throat hurt. The accent that seemed to be able to talk to us was from Shaanxi. The pilaf and barbecue were not as delicious as in Urumqi city. Fortunately, I came across a large red bean grassland on the way home. It was so beautiful. This was an unexpected gain. In general, you won't regret it if you take a look, and it doesn't matter if you don't take a look.
There are many tourists who drive to the Tianshan Grand Canyon, most of them are probably local tourists.
The infrastructure is good and from what we experienced the locals and staff were great.
If you have more time and budget and want to explore more around Urumqi, the Tianshan Grand Canyon is a good choice.
But this also depends on the purpose of your travel.
The biggest advantage of Tianshan Grand Canyon is that you can drive up the mountain by yourself, unlike some scenic spots where you can only park your car at the door, and you need to walk or pay a high price to take the scenic bus to the mountain. I went there at the end of April, it was raining in Urumqi, and the road to Tianshan Grand Canyon was closed due to snow! The car was not allowed to go up the mountain after reaching Swan Lake, and I only saw one-third of the scenery. Also because of the snow, the ticket discount price was 45, and it actually included lunch! Although it was just vegetarian pilaf or pie with hot soup, it was already a great convenience. By the way, the public toilets in the visitor center were also very clean.
Serious complaints! ! Focus on the key point in one sentence: The red canyon picture in the scenic spot is wrong! ! ! That is the "Mysterious Grand Canyon of Tianshan Mountains", which is in Kuche County, 700 to 800 kilometers away from Urumqi City! The real "Grand Canyon of Tianshan Mountains" should be the feel of green grassland! I was attracted by the majestic red canyon pictures in the scenic spot pictures! I didn't realize that the atmosphere was not right when I arrived at the scenic spot! I showed the pictures in the hornet's nest to the staff, and they said it was not here at all! It was completely a big stun!!! The scenery that can be visited in winter is very limited. There is nothing to see in Zhaobi Mountain. It is more than ten kilometers to Swan Lake. Many roads in the scenic area are closed in winter. I was so angry that I left without taking a single photo!!! I came back and carefully looked at the ticket office that others took pictures of. It said the Mysterious Grand Canyon of Tianshan Mountains. I searched it and fucked! It turned out to be two places! Friends must keep their eyes open! ! Find out where you are going! ! Push this useful review to the top! ! If I want to contribute something nutritious... If you take the bus, buy a ticket to Banfanggou at Zhongqiao Bus Station (Suburban Bus Station) and ride to the end. The outbound trip costs 13 yuan (including 1 yuan insurance) and the return trip costs 12 yuan. There is no shuttle bus in the scenic area in winter. If you need to charter a car, you can find someone at Guangming Store opposite the terminal. It costs 30 yuan a one-way trip to Zhaobi Mountain, and 60 yuan for a round trip. The entrance fee with the chartered driver is 20 yuan (original price 45 yuan). There are many delicious foods on Huanghe Road near the station. I recommend the milk tea house and Ah Zhen rice noodles.
I think Xinjiang is a place with Gobi desert and yellow sand everywhere. Of course, that may be Turpan. I never dreamed that Tianshan Grand Canyon would be so beautiful. Tianshan Grand Canyon is suitable for autumn. Of course, it is also cool in summer. You can't go there without long sleeves. The mountains there rise from the ground in a harmonious and staggered manner, majestic and magnificent, unlike the delicate and elegant ones in the mainland; the trees there are coniferous trees, which can only be seen at high latitudes, verdant and vigorous, and lined up one after another; the water there is clear and cold, the holy water of Tianshan; the air there is a mixture of barbarism and nature. Modern civilization is incompatible here. With a pure heart, listen to the song "The First Snow of 2002" and have a hearty release!

Zhaobi Mountain is the main mountain at the entrance of Tianshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area. It is densely covered with pure Tianshan spruce forests. The mountain is northeast-southwest oriented, surrounded by water on three sides, and has a pyramid shape of 400 meters high on the side. According to folklore, Zhaobi Mountain is named because its shape resembles the screen wall of the palaces of princes and nobles in the old days. Due to the unique terrain, there are strange natural landscapes such as a line of peaks and the sun rising three days after rain. The spruce forest on Zhaobi Mountain is tall and dense, the valley is flat and open, covered with green grass, and the stream at the bottom of the valley is gurgling. The water is cool and sweet, which is suitable for the development of forest health resort tourism products.
Qiaoya Pasture is located on the east side of Swan Lake, with an altitude of more than 2,500 meters. It is a high mountain pasture. There are herds of cattle and sheep in the pasture, and white yurts are scattered in the valleys and by the lake. It is the home of Kazakh herdsmen. It can be combined with Kazakh ethnic customs to develop nomadic cultural experience tourism products.
Haxionggou is located in the first ring of Tianshan Grand Canyon. It is named after a stone called "Haxiong looking at the moon" on the side of the gully. Haxiong is also called "blind bear" in the local area. Local people call beautiful women "ayi", which means moon. Haxiong has poor eyesight but wants to see beautiful girls, so he lies on the top of the mountain every day waiting. Haxiong looking at the moon shows the local people's longing for a better life. The forests along Haxionggou are lush, the vegetation is good, and the air quality is high. Forest clubs and other leisure and vacation facilities can be built.
