Walking up Tea Garden Road, you'll find a teahouse at the top, offering panoramic views of Dali Ancient Town and Erhai Lake. Climbing to the top of the teaching building offers even more expansive views. I heard that the cherry blossoms at Dali University are in full bloom in March, attracting many tourists. I prefer the scenery here to Dali Ancient Town.

Dali University is located halfway up Cangshan Mountain. Hiking there requires a lot of physical strength.

Dali University is located on higher ground than the ancient city, making ordinary electric cars prone to burnout. Dali University also has an undulating landscape. Following the undulating altitude, the horizon of Dali University's teaching buildings is not horizontal. After leaving the Confucius Temple, I opened Baidu Maps to head to Dali University. However, the original C2 bus stop on Baidu Maps seemed to have been rerouted. I called a 10-yuan illegal taxi and drove there. The uphill climb was exhausting, and I figured walking would have been exhausting. Dali University is also nestled at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, offering stunning scenery, with the mountains behind and the shimmering Erhai Lake directly in front. Studying here is truly blissful. Looking at reviews on China-TravelNote, it seems the cherry blossom season ended last month, preventing us from seeing them. However, the beautiful campus is still worth a stroll. There's a pond of graceful black swans grazing on fresh mountain grass, young men and women practicing singing in unison on the steps in front of the art museum, and even delivery drivers sleeping soundly in the shade of the trees on the grass during their lunch break. The campus is so vast that it feels endless. We saw a sightseeing bus that circles the campus, but unfortunately, we couldn't find the stop.

It is a place I highly recommend visiting. It is especially worth visiting when the cherry blossoms are in bloom.

In my personal opinion, the scenery of Dali University is better than that of Xiamen University, the most beautiful university.

You might have thought you'd reached the top, but unexpectedly, there were more stone steps and another teaching building. It felt like there were mountains beyond the sky, layer upon layer, a truly beautiful sight. Arriving at the highest teaching building, along the north side, you'll find Lover's Lake, its surface reflecting Cangshan Mountain and the blue sky and white clouds, adding to the beauty.

Dali University is nestled against Cangshan Mountain and faces Erhai Lake. The campus is filled with beautiful flowers, grass, and trees. If you come a few days earlier, you can see a lot of beautiful cherry blossoms (pictured on the innkeeper's phone). Of course, no entrance fee is required, but be careful not to make loud noises; students are still in class, so don't disturb them.

There are also electric cars on campus. Line 1 goes to the student dormitories, and Line 2 goes to the teaching buildings. The one-way fare is 1 yuan. Sitting with the local students, I felt like I was back in college.

Dali University is not far from the west gate of Dali Ancient City. I thought it would be easy to ride a bike, but the altitude of Dali University is more than 100 meters higher than Erhai Lake. As a result, I had to push the bike uphill and ride downhill.

The largest number of people come here to see the winter cherry blossoms, most of whom come here because of the sound of the cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms bloom into a sea of pink. The wind blows from the edge of Erhai Lake to Cangshan Mountain, and the sea of flowers sways, which is very touching.

This is truly the most beautiful university I have ever seen. Facing Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, I feel so much better!

Going to school here should be a happy day, right?! It's a pity that I didn't catch the cherry blossom season...

Located at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, standing at the highest point, you can see Erhai Lake and Dali City in the distance. The university is full of cherry blossoms, and students sit on the ground, seeking knowledge.

Dali University is really big. There is a campus bus at the entrance, which should be free. If you walk to the left after entering the main gate, you will reach the winter cherry blossoms, a popular photo spot. You can walk around the campus at will, but there are many uphill slopes. You can also see Erhai Lake from a high point, which is great.

With Cangshan Mountain at its back and Erhai Lake in front, Dali University occupies an absolute geographical advantage. I wonder if the students studying here will be inspired to recite poems from time to time when faced with such scenery.

We made a surprise detour from Cangshan Geological Park. With the National Day holiday, there were few students, so we barely saw anyone. Climbing the long steps, I could see the distant outline of Erhai Lake and the ancient city, which was a truly refreshing experience. Behind me was Cangshan Mountain, and looking up, I could see the mist shrouding the area.

I'm so envious of my classmates at Dali University. Nestled against the mountain, the campus truly faces the sea, and spring is in full bloom. When I visited in March, the cherry blossoms and peach blossoms were in full bloom, creating a picturesque campus! I spent most of the day wandering around the campus, had lunch in the cafeteria, and relived my university days. I was truly reluctant to leave. The university is also very close to Dali Ancient Town, a 15-minute bus ride away—definitely a must-see on any Dali itinerary. Highly recommended!

Dali University is about 100 meters from the west gate of Dali Ancient Town and about 200 meters from the Three Pagodas. With Cangshan Mountain behind it and Erhai Lake in front, it's a place I highly recommend visiting for those living in the ancient town – you'll find it incredibly beautiful.

Backed by Cangshan Mountain and facing Erhai Lake, the scenery is endless.

Dali University, formerly known as Dali College, is a full-time undergraduate institution of higher learning in Yunnan Province.

All the beautiful universities are owned by other people. Dali University is my favorite school I have ever visited. It has unique scenery and a broad view!

It's a good choice for rainy days. It's very big inside. The flowers are in full bloom in March and it looks very nice. If you go at other times, some people may find it boring. Lover's Lake is very beautiful.

It was the tail end of the cherry blossom season and was very beautiful. It was a good place to stop and take pictures and enjoy the scenery. There weren't many tourists, so it was great.

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the signage on the Dali campus is unique, and the aroma of food wafting from the campus cafeteria makes me feel like I'm back to school.
