Dali University is famous for its cherry blossoms. During cherry blossom season, the cherry blossoms bloom in full bloom, creating a vibrant pink feast. Even in winter, the cherry blossoms are still in full bloom at Dali University, so you can enjoy a beautiful sea of cherry blossoms from winter to spring.

Dali Ancient Town is too commercialized, so I rushed to Dali University for a stroll before sunset and was pleasantly surprised. Arriving at the school gate, I was stunned by the sight. The entire campus is nestled in layers on a hillside. A 5-yuan electric car ride takes you to Swan Pond, where you can see black swans. Walking up Tea Garden Road, you'll find a teahouse at the top, offering panoramic views of Dali Ancient Town and Erhai Lake. Climbing to the top of the teaching building offers even more expansive views. I heard that the cherry blossoms at Dali University are in full bloom in March, attracting many tourists. I prefer the scenery here to Dali Ancient Town.
Dali University is located halfway up Cangshan Mountain. Hiking there requires a lot of physical strength.
In order not to tire my mother, we went up to ask the price of the electric car we saw when we entered the door.
Ten yuan per person, I thought it was expensive at first, but after getting on the bus, I found it was worth the money - he will take you around Dali University for a long time.
They can take pictures for you and answer your questions. They can tell you that the cherry blossoms have faded but the magnolias have bloomed. They will even stop on the road where the magnolias are in full bloom to take pictures for you. The service is very good.
Dali University is inundated with winter cherry blossoms. We drove, but the university wouldn't let us in, so we had to park outside. You can park on the roadside and won't get a ticket. Dali University feels like a large park, uncrowded and beautiful, with map signs along the way. The Camellia Garden has the most concentrated winter cherry blossoms, making it feel like spring, not winter. Dali University is nestled against the mountain, and as you ascend, you can overlook Erhai Lake. It must be such a blessing to study here. Besides winter cherry blossoms and wintersweets, we also saw magnolias. The downhill road leading to Erhai Lake was lined with magnolias on both sides, reminiscent of the various slopes in Japan. I've actually been wanting to eat at Dali University. The restaurant manager last night said the cafeteria is great and accepts WeChat payment, no student card required. I'll try it next time.
Dali University is located on higher ground than the ancient city, making ordinary electric cars prone to burnout. However, this slightly steep slope elevated our toes, allowing us to not only see the university in full bloom with winter cherry blossoms, but also to gaze out over Erhai Lake from Dali University, experiencing its unique beauty from afar. It was truly a pleasant surprise. Beijing was already cold in winter, and Dali wasn't as warm as spring, yet we could see such a vibrant display of winter cherry blossoms.
It turns out that in addition to the time-renowned Japanese cherry blossoms, there is also the Wuhan University Cherry Blossom Season, which is crowded with domestic tourists. I also saw these girlish heart-bursting pink touches at Dali University in December. Besides, the time when winter cherry blossoms and camellias compete with each other for beauty is unique to Dali!
Dali University also has an undulating landscape. Following the undulating altitude, the horizon of Dali University's teaching buildings is not horizontal. Instead, they have steps on the outside and lecture halls on the inside, a true example of using the terrain for architectural design. Hahahaha.
We are at Dali University, gazing at the Erhai Lake from afar, nostalgic for yesterday. How envious we are of studying here. From December to February every year, it is the blooming season of winter cherry blossoms. When you come to Dali University and Dali Camellia Garden, you will see many cherry trees.
I think the cherry blossoms at Dali University are more beautiful than those at Wuhan University.
There are fewer people at Dali University, and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
Winter cherry blossoms bloom at Dali University. Winter is always sunny, and the blue sky is against the backdrop of cherry blossoms.
Very beautiful.
There are also many tourists, and I saw some girls wearing Hanfu to take pictures.
In addition to cherry blossoms, there are also paper cannon flowers on the playground.
The beauty of the campus far exceeded my expectations. Sitting atop the hundreds of stairs, I could gaze out across the azure Erhai Lake, its gentle beauty evoking memories of the past. The Tyndall light radiating from behind the teaching buildings remains etched in my mind; I consider it a unique gift from this city.
It was the holidays, and the campus was deserted. I saw a girl sitting on the steps, wearing headphones. The ground was bathed in golden light, incredibly beautiful. There were also young men walking in pairs, enjoying the breeze. I felt a little envious.
I thought it was just an ordinary university, but I didn't expect it to be so romantic. Nestled between mountains and water, their university is truly a place of honor. Cangshan Mountain is literally right behind them, and Erhai Lake is within sight. Classes require climbing a hill, and from this high vantage point, the view is breathtaking. It feels like holding the clouds in your hands, closer to the sky. The students here must be able to absorb the essence of the sun and the moon even more easily. I'm so envious.
Perhaps because of my occupational disease, I carry a camera with me every day to record the beauty of PolyU, from morning to night, and to every detail, its beauty is everywhere.
Photography is like a mirror to me, reflecting the world and my inner self. Now, I'm willing to immerse myself in capturing anything that possesses a soul. Near or far, joyful or sad, moving or still. These things instantly prompt me to pick up my camera and capture stories that speak to my inner self.
The cherry blossoms here belong to the Rosaceae family. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the cherry trees on both sides of the campus dance in the wind. Such a campus environment is really great.
Students at this university can enjoy cherry blossoms right after class, which is probably the most unforgettable memory of their university years. Dali University is open to the public free of charge, and many locals and tourists come here to visit.
The cherry blossoms at Dali University are truly beautiful. Some trees are in full bloom, while others have only a few scattered blossoms. They should be even more beautiful in the coming days. When we visited, the university hadn't yet opened reservations for admission, so we were stopped outside by security. Fortunately, the cherry blossoms, unwilling to be left out, had climbed the fence, and the path outside the north gate was more than enough for us.
When I came to Dali in 2017, I was lucky enough to enter the school. I took a lot of photos at that time. It was really beautiful.
Due to the epidemic in 2021, the school is no longer accessible, so I can only take more photos outside.
This place is still so beautiful. It will be even more beautiful if the flowers on both sides bloom. With Cangshan Mountain behind it and Erhai Lake in the distance, going to school here is a visual enjoyment.
I hope that after the epidemic is over, I can continue to check in on campus and try the school cafeteria.
In fact, there are no services in the university, you just need to wander around inside by yourself. When the cherry blossoms are in bloom, Dali University is definitely a holy place for taking photos in Dali and is the best choice.
After leaving the Confucius Temple, I opened Baidu Maps to head to Dali University. However, the original C2 bus stop on Baidu Maps seemed to have been rerouted. I called a 10-yuan illegal taxi and drove there. The uphill climb was exhausting, and I figured walking would have been exhausting. Dali University is also nestled at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, offering stunning scenery, with the mountains behind and the shimmering Erhai Lake directly in front. Studying here is truly blissful. Looking at reviews on China-TravelNote, it seems the cherry blossom season ended last month, preventing us from seeing them. However, the beautiful campus is still worth a stroll. There's a pond of graceful black swans grazing on fresh mountain grass, young men and women practicing singing in unison on the steps in front of the art museum, and even delivery drivers sleeping soundly in the shade of the trees on the grass during their lunch break. The campus is so vast that it feels endless. We saw a sightseeing bus that circles the campus, but unfortunately, we couldn't find the stop.
It is a place I highly recommend visiting. It is especially worth visiting when the cherry blossoms are in bloom.
The cherry blossoms in March are in full bloom and are breathtakingly beautiful. The university is also open on weekdays for visitors to enjoy the cherry blossoms.
At the foot of Cangshan Mountain, it covers a large area and is just average.
Dali University in April is so beautiful! You can overlook Erhai Lake and there are so many snacks nearby... University life is so wonderful! And there's also the Black Swan!
The campus is very beautiful, with flowers blooming all year round. It is in a great location with Cangshan Mountain behind it and Erhai Lake in the distance!
Dali University has nearly 10,000 cherry trees. Every March when spring is in full bloom, Dali University becomes the best place for the public to enjoy the spring flowers. Since the first open day in 2016, tens of thousands of people have visited every year.
Dali University is backed by Cangshan Mountain and faces Erhai Lake. What other school campus has such a good location and fengshui? Dali University is located above the ancient city, at a very high position, and it is perfect for watching the sunrise.
Wuliang Mountain is too far away and I didn’t want to run so far, so I decided to enjoy the cherry blossoms at Dali University.
After entering the main gate and walking left for 5 minutes, you'll find a cherry blossom forest. The weather was perfect, and the blue sky and pink cherry blossoms were incredibly dreamy. The Hanfu and kimonos were incredibly photogenic, and I encountered quite a few people taking couple and solo photos.
It’s a school with beautiful scenery. There are cherry blossoms and ginkgo trees in spring and winter. It is nestled in the mountains and beside the water. You can also see the panoramic view of Erhai Lake. It’s like the dormitory has a sea view room. It’s so beautiful!
The steps in front of Dali University are really difficult to climb, but I like it very much. In the teaching building, I can only hear my footsteps, and there is an echo, which makes me feel scared instantly.
There are many cherry blossoms on campus, but most of them are still buds. However, it is perfect for watching the sunset. The sunlight pours down from Cangshan Mountain, covering the entire university, gentle and intimate, warming the heart. The campus is huge, and I didn't explore it all, but I was satisfied.
Dali University is a practically free viewing platform. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom in winter, making it particularly beautiful. Students playing guitar and cucurbit flutes beneath the trees is truly delightful! Highly recommended!
It is truly the university closest to the sky. I was attracted to this school after watching Running Man. When you come to Dali, Dali University will definitely be a colorful blender in your journey.
I don't envy the mandarin ducks, I only envy the immortals. People who study here must be very happy. With Cangshan Mountain behind and Erhai Lake in front, it is like a fairyland on earth.
Dali University is definitely one of the most beautiful universities in China. If you say it's a botanical garden, some people would believe it.
Especially in winter and spring every year when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, Dali University becomes the most lively tourist attraction in Dali.
It took about 20 minutes by taxi from the ancient city to reach the university. Walking up to the campus gate, we were struck by the grandeur of this university nestled on a hillside. The main building at the entrance resembled a giant hollow disk, reclining on the mountain. Its roof, over a dozen stories high, curved to meet the ground, a rare architectural style. Standing atop the main building, turning around, one could take in the entirety of Dali. I truly felt that if I could attend a university like this, I would be reluctant to leave. Touring Dali University felt like climbing a mountain, then descending it again. The entire university was either uphill or on an uphill path. Few students were overweight, after all, attending classes and eating meals daily was supposed to be exercise. The campus' artificial lake and the azure sky complemented each other, creating a breathtakingly beautiful scene. Other visitors told me that Dali University's cherry blossoms rival those of Japan, and even in December, winter cherry blossoms are in full bloom, right next to the football field. Sadly, the winter cherry blossoms are past their peak viewing period; the blooming season waits for no one, and the green leaves have already covered the pink blossoms. However, nothing is perfect in this world, and even the withered blossoms are worth admiring.
In my personal opinion, the scenery of Dali University is better than that of Xiamen University, the most beautiful university.
This is mainly due to Dali's unique natural landscape environment.
Dali University is built on a mountain, with Cangshan Mountain behind it and overlooking Erhai Lake.
Good Feng Shui!
The university grounds are filled with greenery and cherry blossoms. Pavilions, terraces, rockery, waterfalls, and gurgling water – the scenery is stunning!
Inside Dali University, walk down the slope and look into the distance, and you will see Erhai Lake.
A must-see is the basketball court at Dali College (now Dali University), which offers a panoramic view of the ancient city and Erhai Lake. It took a long walk to get there, but once inside, the view captivated me. How can students study properly if a university is built like this? Finding the legendary basketball court was a bit of a hassle, but the view is truly stunning. Unfortunately, my photography skills are limited.
It’s a very beautiful university. Even though I missed the cherry blossom season, it’s still very beautiful.
When you enter the main gate, you can see the teaching building of Dali University, which is in an arc shape, facing Erhai Lake and with Cangshan Mountain at its back. Looking back, you can overlook Erhai Lake. There is a long staircase through the teaching building, and you can see Cangshan Mountain when you go up.
I heard from my classmates that the flowers are in full bloom from March to May. The campus is very quiet.
The Academic Exchange Center of Dali University has a nice name - Tea Garden.
This is not a university, it is clearly a paradise with beautiful environment. If someone says this is the most beautiful university, I fully support it.
I was stunned after entering! The school is so beautiful and majestic! I envy the students at Dali University so much, they get to see such beautiful scenery every day! Dali is truly a place with outstanding people and beautiful scenery!
It was raining when I went there, and it wasn't the cherry blossom season, so I felt it was just average. Being built on a mountain, it gave me the illusion of mountain climbing...
Dali University is breathtakingly beautiful, nestled against a mountainside, Cangshan Mountain at its back. Standing outside a classroom, you can overlook Erhai Lake and the Dali city, and gaze up at the blue sky and white clouds. Imagine students here, tired or worried, stepping out of the classroom to gaze upon such a beautiful view, their worries surely vanishing. Furthermore, climbing Cangshan Mountain to soothe their worries is truly a blessing. Entering from the main gate (considered the East Gate), ascend the stone steps to the teaching buildings, which are built atop them. A flight of stone steps leads to a platform, a teaching building, and another flight of stone steps, another platform, a teaching building. You might have thought you'd reached the top, but unexpectedly, there were more stone steps and another teaching building. It felt like there were mountains beyond the sky, layer upon layer, a truly beautiful sight. Arriving at the highest teaching building, along the north side, you'll find Lover's Lake, its surface reflecting Cangshan Mountain and the blue sky and white clouds, adding to the beauty.
Dali University is nestled against Cangshan Mountain and faces Erhai Lake. The campus is filled with beautiful flowers, grass, and trees. If you come a few days earlier, you can see a lot of beautiful cherry blossoms (pictured on the innkeeper's phone). Of course, no entrance fee is required, but be careful not to make loud noises; students are still in class, so don't disturb them.
If you want to see Dali University, you must first climb the mountain. Standing on Dali University, you can see the whole Dali Ancient City and Erhai Lake in the distance.
The terraced teaching buildings, set against the azure sky, are a truly breathtaking sight. From the rooftops of several buildings, you can overlook Dali Old Town and Erhai Lake. As you wander along, the cherry blossoms and camellias bloom along the roadside. Highly recommended! The only university comparable to Xiamen University! With Cangshan Mountain at its back and Erhai Lake in front, it's breathtakingly beautiful. You won't want to leave. Some burn incense, some pray, some have dinner, some play cards. Our first day of the Lunar New Year at Dali University was filled with joy and discovery.
Recommendation index four and a half stars
The university is located at the foot of Cangshan Mountain and faces Erhai Lake. It is known as a university in the mountains and waters.
Wherever I go, I always visit the university.
This is probably the place I longed to go when I was a student! Seeing students makes me excited! I often see students taking graduation photos on campus.
The Dali University Old City Campus is only about one or two kilometers away from the south gate of the old city. The entire university faces Erhai Lake and is located on a mountain. It is so beautiful even when viewed from outside the gate.
We walked into the university. As soon as we entered this university nestled on a hillside, we were struck by its magnificence. The main building at the entrance resembled a giant hollow disc reclining on the mountain. The entire roof was in the shape of a huge arc, with more than a dozen floors extending directly to the ground. I had never seen such an architectural style before. Standing at the foot of the main building, turning around, the entire Erhai Lake was in full view. I sincerely felt that if I could attend a university like this, I would really not want to leave. Touring Dali University was like climbing a mountain, then descending it to the bottom. The entire university was either uphill or on the way uphill. Almost all the students along the way were not obese. After all, attending classes and eating every day should be exercise.
Dali University is not far from the ancient city. The environment and atmosphere here are very good, so I came here to check in.
I had heard that the cherry blossoms here were beautiful before I came, but unfortunately, I missed the peak season and the cherry blossoms had already withered. The school is quite large, so it would be tiring to walk around.
The university is built on the mountain. I don’t know how many flights of stairs I climbed before I finally reached the highest point. There is a large platform in front of the teaching building, from which you can view Erhai Lake from a distance. However, I couldn’t capture its beauty in a single shot, so I could only store the beautiful scenery in my mind.
If you can come during the cherry blossom season, you can feel the beauty of Dali University. I felt a little disappointed when I was going down the mountain, so I can only make up for it by enjoying myself...
There are many wintersweet trees on campus. It is the season when wintersweets are in full bloom. The clear blue sky sets off the slender, beautiful and unpretentious wintersweet trees. It is a pleasing sight!
When you come here, you will find that the PolyU campus is not only backed by Cangshan Mountain, but also faces Erhai Lake! ! What a great geographical environment! ! !
After arriving, I realized it was worth the trip. Compared to the famous Xiamen University, Dali University might not have been as popular yet. There weren't many people, not even many students. We charged our e-donkeys off campus and walked into the campus...
Dali University seems to be built on a mountain. After entering the gate, what comes into view are layers of stairs. Behind the main teaching building of the campus is Cangshan Mountain, and facing Erhai Lake. It seems to be more picturesque than Xiamen University, but much quieter. I happened to catch a few girls taking graduation photos, and everything around is scenery!
I've long heard that Dali University is beautiful, so a visit is a must when you visit Dali. From Sanyue Street, take the ancient C2 road directly to Dali University. The main entrance is a set of tall steps that feel like entering a palace. In the center stands a sculpture of a sailing ship on the sea of learning. To its left and right are five stone pillars, each carved with images of historical figures. Behind the sculptures, another flight of stone steps leads to the first teaching building. Ascending, you feel closer and closer to the sky. Looking up, the sky seems right before your eyes. Reaching out, you feel as if you could grab a cloud. Turning your head, you can see the full view of Erhai Lake. I hear Dali University is even more beautiful in March when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
As soon as you enter the university, there are 66 steps, and then another 66 steps after a platform before you can see the main building. No wonder you don’t see fat students in the school.
There are also electric cars on campus. Line 1 goes to the student dormitories, and Line 2 goes to the teaching buildings. The one-way fare is 1 yuan. Sitting with the local students, I felt like I was back in college.
Dali University's Old Town Campus is nestled against a hillside, with Cangshan Mountain at its back. Some locations offer direct views of Erhai Lake. Dali University boasts numerous cherry blossoms, which bloom in two seasons each year: winter and spring. The spring blossoms are more beautiful, blooming for about a month, from February 20th to March 20th. Every year during the blooming season, Dali University opens its doors to the public for viewing.
It is halfway up the mountain. It is better to go to Dali University than Cangshan. The scenery is good and there is no ticket. When the cherry blossoms in the college bloom, it is beautiful.
My friend said that the cherry blossoms at Dali University are very beautiful!
When we arrived at Dali University by taxi, it was already past four in the afternoon. The sun was setting in the west, and patches of clouds blocked the not-so-strong sunlight. After the Didi driver introduced us, we got off the car and headed straight for the place where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.
But after entering the campus, we did not find our destination. We only found one or two scattered cherry trees. There were many people in the campus, but most of them were not students. Instead, they were tourists like us who came here to appreciate the cherry blossoms.
After catching a cute junior high school girl and asking her for the location, I finally found it. But there were quite a lot of people here. Under every brilliant cherry tree, there were tourists who were fascinated by it. They came in groups of three or five, and took pictures under the brilliant cherry trees shyly.
However, the cherry blossoms here are so popular that there were so many people waiting to take pictures that we had to wait for a long time before it was our turn to take a check-in photo.
I decided to come here on a whim. During the Spring Festival, Dali Scenic Area was crowded with people, but Dali University was very quiet and the campus environment was great. It was very pleasant to ride a bicycle around.
Dali University, nestled against the backdrop of Cangshan Mountain, has an indescribable grandeur. The campus exudes a sense of grandeur. Flowers and plants are everywhere, a delight to the eyes. We had originally planned to see the cherry blossoms, but when we arrived, they had already faded, leaving only scattered blossoms, which wasn't very pretty. So, we wandered around the campus casually. They even have manhole covers, which is quite charming. Then, we had two unexpected surprises. The first was a field of wisteria in full bloom—absolutely stunning!!! The second surprise was a pond filled with tadpoles! From a distance, it looked quite claustrophobic, but I hadn't seen tadpoles like that in years. They were so adorable. The campus is so huge, it was impossible to walk around completely. After we got off, we took an electric car for a complete loop... Do you think we were silly? Haha, we took another electric car for a complete loop after our walk. I think that's silly, too.
I just went there today and spent the entire afternoon. This is the most beautiful university I've ever seen, bar none. It sits at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, nestled against the mountainside, sloping upwards. Standing in the middle of the campus, you can see the ancient city of Dali and Erhai Lake in front of you, and the Cangshan sky behind you. Looking forward, you're greeted by a vast expanse, and looking up, you can almost touch the blue sky and white clouds. It's breathtakingly beautiful without any artificial embellishment. The flowers and trees on campus are the icing on the cake. Although the cherry blossoms weren't in full bloom by the end of April, I still found the beauty breathtaking. The teaching buildings are also quite unique and architecturally beautiful. From the rooftops of several buildings, you can overlook the ancient city of Dali and Erhai Lake. It's truly breathtaking!
This is really the most beautiful university I have ever seen. Backed by Cangshan Mountain and facing Erhai Lake, Dali University has an absolute advantage in geographical location. I was really shocked.
Because it was Qingming Festival, there were few people on campus. When we met students, they took the initiative to tell us that we could see Erhai Lake from the roof of the teaching building.
Dali University is recommended for a 2-3 hour visit. If you're visiting during cherry blossom season, consider yourself lucky. Even without the cherry blossoms, the campus's Lover's Lake is still breathtaking, offering a breathtakingly beautiful scenery. Dali University, nestled against Cangshan Mountain and facing Erhai Lake, offers unparalleled views. If you're staying in Dali Old Town, take bus C2 from Cangshan Gate to Dali University.
Legend has it that this is the only university comparable to Xiamen University, nestled against Cangshan Mountain and facing Erhai Lake, it's breathtakingly beautiful. Although I missed the vibrant cherry blossom season, the trip was still worthwhile! Dali University is just one stop away on the C2 bus, making it very convenient. But we were foolish enough to decide to walk around, so we walked all the way up from the South Gate of the Ancient City. The distance itself wasn't far, but the slightly higher altitude made the walk a bit strenuous.
There is a platform with a wide view and a large layout. Standing there and looking down, you can see the beautiful scenery of Erhai Lake...and the sports field is also the most romantic in history.
I went to Dali University on a friend's recommendation. A visit to a university campus is essential. I might not have had high expectations beforehand, but upon arrival, they were far exceeded. The campus is quite large, nestled against the mountain, and it perfectly captures the typical Dali style: blue skies, white clouds, and a sudden storm. The accommodations are very affordable, adhering to the typical university campus atmosphere. I went on a non-holiday, and seeing so many students rushing to class and studying was incredibly moving. But what really impressed me most was sitting on the steps of the Dali playground, a gentle breeze blowing, watching the red flag fluttering on the flagpole, the young boys running around playing football, and the Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain in the distance. It was a truly beautiful blend of movement and stillness.
Dali University is not far from the west gate of Dali Ancient City. I thought it would be easy to ride a bike, but the altitude of Dali University is more than 100 meters higher than Erhai Lake. As a result, I had to push the bike uphill and ride downhill.
After a difficult 1-kilometer-long 40-degree uphill road, we arrived at Dali University. Cherry blossoms were flying in front of us. I picked up my SLR and took photos everywhere. It was so cool!
A beautiful university, at the foot of Cangshan Mountain and beside Erhai Lake, wouldn't it be very romantic to have a romantic relationship here? You can drive in. The cherry blossoms are probably not in their most gorgeous bloom yet, probably in mid-March. The cherry blossoms on the road in front of the staff cafeteria are still very beautiful.
We had lunch in the Dali University staff canteen. It was a bargain for two people to get meat, vegetables and soup for just over ten yuan.
The cherry blossoms at Dali University are breathtakingly beautiful!!!
The cherry blossoms at Dali University are so beautiful. It is definitely worth the trip to catch the cherry blossom season.
I went to Dali University today and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.
Dali University is the sweetest university I've ever been to. From the gate to the highest teaching building, it takes a bit of stamina to get there. Nestled over 2,000 meters above Cangshan Mountain, the mountain scenery is ever-changing every day. Sometimes it's shrouded in mist, sometimes it's azure skies and dark mountains.
Before this, I had no idea that this university existed. Now I think it would be a shame if I hadn't been there. During my one month in Dali, I went there several times by myself, and each time I saw a different scenery.
The largest number of people come here to see the winter cherry blossoms, most of whom come here because of the sound of the cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms bloom into a sea of pink. The wind blows from the edge of Erhai Lake to Cangshan Mountain, and the sea of flowers sways, which is very touching.
This is truly the most beautiful university I have ever seen. Facing Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, I feel so much better!
Going to school here should be a happy day, right?! It's a pity that I didn't catch the cherry blossom season...
Located at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, standing at the highest point, you can see Erhai Lake and Dali City in the distance. The university is full of cherry blossoms, and students sit on the ground, seeking knowledge.
Dali University is really big. There is a campus bus at the entrance, which should be free. If you walk to the left after entering the main gate, you will reach the winter cherry blossoms, a popular photo spot. You can walk around the campus at will, but there are many uphill slopes. You can also see Erhai Lake from a high point, which is great.
With Cangshan Mountain at its back and Erhai Lake in front, Dali University occupies an absolute geographical advantage. I wonder if the students studying here will be inspired to recite poems from time to time when faced with such scenery.
We made a surprise detour from Cangshan Geological Park. With the National Day holiday, there were few students, so we barely saw anyone. Climbing the long steps, I could see the distant outline of Erhai Lake and the ancient city, which was a truly refreshing experience. Behind me was Cangshan Mountain, and looking up, I could see the mist shrouding the area.
I'm so envious of my classmates at Dali University. Nestled against the mountain, the campus truly faces the sea, and spring is in full bloom. When I visited in March, the cherry blossoms and peach blossoms were in full bloom, creating a picturesque campus! I spent most of the day wandering around the campus, had lunch in the cafeteria, and relived my university days. I was truly reluctant to leave. The university is also very close to Dali Ancient Town, a 15-minute bus ride away—definitely a must-see on any Dali itinerary. Highly recommended!
Dali University is about 100 meters from the west gate of Dali Ancient Town and about 200 meters from the Three Pagodas. With Cangshan Mountain behind it and Erhai Lake in front, it's a place I highly recommend visiting for those living in the ancient town – you'll find it incredibly beautiful.
Backed by Cangshan Mountain and facing Erhai Lake, the scenery is endless.
Dali University, formerly known as Dali College, is a full-time undergraduate institution of higher learning in Yunnan Province.
All the beautiful universities are owned by other people. Dali University is my favorite school I have ever visited. It has unique scenery and a broad view!
It's a good choice for rainy days. It's very big inside. The flowers are in full bloom in March and it looks very nice. If you go at other times, some people may find it boring. Lover's Lake is very beautiful.
It was the tail end of the cherry blossom season and was very beautiful. It was a good place to stop and take pictures and enjoy the scenery. There weren't many tourists, so it was great.
The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the signage on the Dali campus is unique, and the aroma of food wafting from the campus cafeteria makes me feel like I'm back to school.
School during holidays🏫, the best place to avoid the crowds!
Dali University is located at an altitude of more than 2,000 meters.
There are stairs everywhere, it's tiring to climb...
But the campus under the scorching sun is so photogenic!
Tennis courts 🎾, volleyball courts, basketball courts 🏀, playgrounds… they are all so photogenic ٩(˃̶͈̀௰˂̶͈́)و
