The place we went to seemed to be privately set up by the villagers, and they charged 30 yuan for admission. There was a ticket notice board, and after buying the ticket, we entered a place as desolate as a basketball court. There was no ticket for horse riding, and one horse cost at least 160 yuan, and we just walked on the road. We couldn't touch the grassland and the sea at all.

The best time to take photos of the rich grassland is in the morning. There is little smoke from cooking. But what caught my eye was not Panahai. It was the small village in the nearby mountains. I went there at a suitable time. The sea of ​​flowers. The blue sky and the lake. It was simply a paradise in my mind. I am not a good photographer, but you can imagine a field of white plum flowers surrounding this red-walled mud house, with a blue lake in the distance and cattle and sheep taking a leisurely walk.

Shangri-La has plenty of rainfall in the summer, so the Yila grassland that was full of wild flowers in spring and autumn has now turned into a lake. This is the real Napahai.

The car drove slowly along the lake, and we saw pools of water reflecting the mountains and cattle and sheep in the water, like a paradise.

While walking by the lake, I couldn't resist the persuasion of the locals and spent 10 yuan to change into Tibetan clothes. The Tibetan girl specially helped me pick out this blue dress, saying that I looked like a Tibetan girl and would look good in it. At this moment, I seemed to have really become Zhuoma in Tibet, throwing up my long sleeves and blending into this quiet, peaceful, tranquil and mysterious landscape.

In winter, many black-necked cranes come to Napahai to spend the winter and recuperate. You can often see black-necked cranes and Tibetan pigs fighting for food together. After asking the locals, I learned that it is because Tibetan pigs often dig out some insects from the ground, and black-necked cranes often wait nearby to enjoy the benefits.

The Napa Sea in winter is so blue that it seems unreal. There is not a single cloud in the sky, but the sun and the moon shine together. That is why Shangri-La is also known as the "City of the Sun and the Moon". On a clear and cloudless day, as long as you look up, you will find that the sun and the moon are hanging high in the sky at the same time. I don't know if it is because the air here is too clear, or if the sky here is really close to us.

We didn't ride horses, but walked to a nearby place. A stone wall separated us from the grassland. Fortunately, the wall was not high, and we could see the blue sky and white clouds, grasslands and mountains. From time to time, a group of unknown birds flew in the sky, and there were eagles circling. The yaks seemed to be too big and moved slowly. They looked at me for several minutes without moving, as if they were still. This place makes people forget the time.

Napahai is a seasonal lake and marsh meadow on the plateau. The grassland on the plateau is different from the endless feeling of the imagined plain. The grassland is a flat land between the mountains, but it is also vast and impressive. However, the grassland is full of stagnant water and livestock feces. We walked carefully and did not dare to run freely as imagined. Due to rainfall, most of the road around the lake was flooded. But I encountered another beautiful scenery unexpectedly.

Along the way, there are villages, cattle, sheep, grasslands, and lakes, which are so beautiful that they are like a picture scroll. Napahai is surrounded by mountains on three sides. It is a seasonal lake and swamp meadow on the plateau. It is also the wintering habitat of migratory birds such as black-necked cranes. When I first read the guide, I was not sure whether Napahai and Yila Grassland were the same place. Later, I learned that during the dry season in winter and spring, the surface of Napahai Lake shrank and turned into a large swamp meadow, which is Yila Grassland. The entire area of ​​Napahai is very large. There is a fenced scenic area with a fee. There is an additional fee for riding horses, etc. In fact, it is completely unnecessary. You can just take a car along the ring road to see the scenery along the way. However, please note that some sections of the ring road will be flooded during the rainy season. Yila Grassland is a vast and barren withered yellow scenery, and yaks in groups of three or two leisurely lower their heads to eat grass. In mid-to-late November, the water level of Napahai has not completely receded, and the green guardrail is still submerged in Napahai. On a sunny day, the lake and the sky are the same color, and the mountains in the distance lie in the middle with white clouds. Whether it is beautiful depends entirely on the weather.

The flood season is Napahai, and the dry season is Yila Grassland. It has been divided into many private ranches by local people, many of which are called Yila Grassland, and they charge privately. If you don't want to go horseback riding, you can go in none of them. There is a ring road around Napahai. Going counterclockwise along the ring road around the lake, you can find a place to go down to the water's edge. On the west line of the ring road around the lake, the water and sky are one color, there are relatively few tourists, and the view is very open. Reminder, there is no toilet on the entire ring road around the lake! The ring road around the lake was not fully accessible at that time. The west side of the ring road around the lake was more beautiful, and the east side was more average. The east side is fragmented by villages and lakes, and it is difficult to go around the lake. You have to keep changing roads and detouring, and the experience is average. The entire ring road is about 100 kilometers.

If you go to Shangri-La and don't see Napahai, it's like you haven't been there. The light of the sky and the shadows of the clouds are floating on the lake. Because of the changes of the vast peaks and the clouds, Napahai becomes weak and shy, and full of charm. It is autumn, and the grass on the meadow is not as dazzling as in spring, but it still attracts the favor of cattle and sheep. The sky here is very blue, and the clouds drift leisurely with the wind, as if they are within reach. The mountains, grasslands, and Napahai are in harmony, each guarding one side, they help each other, and compose a fairy-tale beauty together. The autumn colors are just right, the colors of the forest are much richer, red, green, and yellow are intertwined, and the scenery like oil paintings is fascinating~~

The water meets the sky, and the sky, clouds, and mountains are reflected on the water. Nature always has an indescribable beauty. Napahai is indeed a lake nurtured by forests. The clear lake water is full of reflections of mountains and trees, just like a fairyland. Standing by the Napahai Sea, close your eyes, open your arms, and use your arms to appreciate its dreaminess, harmony, and tranquility. Take a deep breath, and the indifferent breath fills your heart. It is really quiet here, the mountains are quiet, the water is quiet, the cows and horses are quiet, and the sky is quiet... "I came from afar, dusty and simple, passing through a large green grassland, and throwing myself into the distant Napa Lake"! It turns out that it is at the foot of Shika Snow Mountain. When there is no water, it is the Shangri-La grassland, and when the rainy season comes, it becomes a lake. I originally planned to circle the lake, but this year's rainfall has fallen, and most of the roads around the lake have been flooded, so I can only walk a short distance! But I can still imagine the vast grassland, the pure lake, and the herds of cattle and sheep scattered on the grassland when there is no water...

The last stop in Shangri-La is Napahaila Grassland, which is a grassland in the dry season and a lake in the rainy season.

I used to like the sea, the waves and sand on the shore, the boundlessness of the sea, and staring at the sea and sky. But in recent years, I am a little afraid of it. The sea is too broad and deep, too quiet and mysterious. There is no light at the seaside at night. If you look further, it is all black. Now I like the grassland, I like its vastness, its depths and shallows, I like to watch the wind blowing the grass low, I like to look at the eyes of horses, I like to see cows shaking their tails, I like a flock of sheep on the grassland, and when I look up at the sky I see another flock of sheep, I like the small wild flowers blooming in a low-key manner, they are bright on their own whether you come or not.

Sometimes it is grassland, sometimes it is sea. It is sea in rainy season and grassland in dry season. Because it does not rain much in this season, there is a wetland in some places. This year, Napa Lake has become more popular because of the broadcast of "Sito". The grassland is very vast, and you can see flocks of sheep from afar. I am curious about how the genes of these sheep make only their faces pure black. There will also be some archery and taking pictures with yaks, of course, there is an extra charge~

Just outside the city of Shangri-La are Napahai and Yila Grassland. Napahai is next to Shika Snow Mountain, but I forgot to take a picture of the snow mountain and the lake together.



There is a road around the lake in Napahai, and you can ride horses on the Yila grassland. If you have enough time, you can go there to have fun. In autumn and winter, there are many migratory birds in Napahai.

It feels like a scenic spot that has been privately enclosed and scammed, and there is shit everywhere. You should think carefully about coming here, and at least don't come before May in winter!

I asked a local to lead the way. There was no big grassland at this time, it was all yellow.

And the grandma at that attraction kept lobbying for horse riding, which was annoying. There are ABC routes for horse riding. The minimum charge is 178, and there are 8 of us. She said the minimum is 100/person. But I was annoyed by her lobbying, and she said she would not force us to buy or sell. The three of us chose horse riding, but we came back in less than 30 minutes. And the ticket for not riding is 30, which is just to go inside and walk around, but you can't go to the beach.

Strongly not recommended! ! ! ! This kind of natural scenic spot is monopolized by locals and has a strong commercial flavor. There is no beautiful scenery to see, only wasted money and disappointment. If there is access to the scenic spot, it is best to avoid it.

Napahai and Yila grassland are actually connected. During the rainy season, there is more water and most of the grassland is covered by the lake, thus becoming a sea. During the non-rainy season, there is less water and more grass, and the lake degenerates and becomes a grassland.

I went there during the Chinese New Year. I rode about a third of the way. It was said that it was 160 yuan in the off-season, which included the ticket. I could take photos of the White Pagoda for free. The scenery was beautiful and it was worth a visit.

No tickets are required, just drive along the road around the lake. The weather was very good when we went there, with plenty of sunshine and great scenery. It was just that it rained heavily a few days before we went there, so some sections of the road were flooded and we couldn't complete the whole circle around the lake.

I was very disappointed when I arrived. It was just a large grassland, not the grassland of Inner Mongolia. There are mixed reviews about Napahai on the Internet. In fact, it is not a specific place. It is a conceptual scenic spot created by the general name of a large grassland + a large lake. The tour group takes you to just one of the many horse riding experience points. This horse riding experience is expensive. And it is not interesting. So I really don’t recommend going to this so-called Napahai scenic spot.

The entrance to Panahai is not easy to find. I also found it by looking through other people's guides. In the peak season, we navigate and drive or go with a tour group, and tickets should be required.

There are many similar grass seas here. As long as there is grass in the lake, it is called a grass sea, including the grass sea on the Lugu Lake side, which is also quite sloppy.

Is it not good to eat black pork and look at black pigs?

There are a lot of straw drying on the lake, which is very interesting. I originally planned to fly a drone here, but unfortunately this is a no-fly zone. However, after driving up the mountain, I can still see the whole picture of the lake, which can be regarded as fulfilling my wish.

The sea without the sun does not appear blue. During the rainy season, with the influx of rainwater and meltwater from snow mountains, it becomes a real sea. The water recedes and becomes a wetland, with swamps and Yila grasslands coexisting.

You need to pay a ticket to visit Panahai Scenic Area, which costs about a few dozen yuan. After entering, you can walk along the sea road to see the grassland, but! Why would I go around the sea if I can't get off the scenic bus to take pictures? So... I strongly recommend searching for "Panahai Observation Deck" on the map. You can stand high and see far, and you can see the whole Panahai, as well as the quiet fishing village in the morning and the boats that didn't go out to fish early in the morning. You can change poses and take pictures as much as you want.

The grasslands of Napa Lake have been almost flooded by water. Now it is almost a lake. If you don't have a ticket, you can drive around the lake to see it.

The Napa Lake after the rain is clean and clear, very beautiful. It costs 100 yuan to charter a car from Shangri-La to go around the lake for a week. I highly recommend it.

The reason why many tourists complained about it is that this scenic spot has a gate in the northeast corner near National Highway 214. It charges 40 yuan (some say 60 yuan) to enter the grassland, and there are more than 100 to 300 horse riding projects. Many hotel owners, including those in the city and various scenic spots, will meet many people inviting tourists to Napahai, and they all go to this toll gate to solicit customers.

In fact, you can skip the toll gate and travel around Napa Lake clockwise from the south without any charge. Smart tourists will rent a bicycle to ride around the lake, or rent a car or charter a car to travel around the lake. No need to pay for the attractions. There is a very beautiful grassland and lake scenery on the southwest side of the lake. No tickets are required!

In fact, it is not a sea, but a relatively large lake. When you travel around Napa Lake, you will feel like you can touch the clouds from the top of the mountain.

Very disappointed. There is only a small amount of grassland tickets and 60 yuan for the bus. It is not easy to take a black car. The driver is really black.

When placing an order, you must make sure that the attractions provided by the travel agency are the Napahai Wetland Park you want to visit, rather than just horseback riding on the grassland, which makes you feel like you have gone to a fake scenic spot. It doesn't cost much, but it mainly wastes time.

Don't go when there's no water or snow! This is a trap! Charging for riding a horse is like robbery! Don't go! I'm scared!

Yila Grassland and Napa Lake are actually the same place. In the rainy season, most of the grassland is flooded by rain, and the lake area increases, which is Napa Lake. In the dry season, there is less rain, the water recedes, and the grass is exposed, which is Yila Grassland. Regardless of the dry season or the rainy season, you can see water and grassland, but the area is different.

Napahai is not actually a sea, but the largest alpine grassland in Zhongdian. When we went there, there were not many people, so it felt like "there are cattle and sheep on the grassland under the sky". Napahai is actually very beautiful. There is a big lake on the edge of the grassland. Under the reflection of the blue sky and white clouds, it is mixed with green grassland, which is colorful!

It is actually a lake with grasslands beside the lake. The rainy season in August caused the lake water to rise and the grassland area to decrease greatly. The ticket here is a big pit, and you need to take precautions in advance. It is said that some people come here in mid-August and charge more than 290 yuan per person for horseback riding. It is impossible to walk on the grassland inside without riding a horse. It is all wet mud. Therefore, before coming, we asked the chartered car master and asked him to help solve it. In the end, the price of horseback riding was bargained to 150 yuan per person and 100 yuan for children, because it was one person per horse, and the children were not given half price. Later, our family rode into the scenic area on horseback, but my second sister's family did not want to ride horses and did not enter the scenic area. In fact, there is another way, which is to buy a ticket (40 yuan/person) and drive in and go around the lake. It is said that the scenery is also good. The main reason is that the children wanted to ride horses too much, so we did not go around the lake.

At that time, the sky gradually cleared up in the Napahai Yila grassland. The blue sky was reflected in the swamp on the grassland, like a mirror inlaid on the grass, and instantly blended with the swamp. Entering the grassland in the center of the swamp, you can enjoy the stunning scenery, which is 360 degrees without dead angles. The blue sky and white clouds are reflected in the swamp, reflecting the beauty of the sky. Because of too many rainy days, many grasslands in Napahai were submerged in the swamp, which instead has a bit of the flavor of the sea.

It is actually a seasonal alpine lake, connected to the Yila grassland, forming a large swamp meadow. The landscape here is different in each season, and each has its own charm. The key is to encounter good weather.

I rented an electric car near the hotel in the morning. At first, I followed the navigation and came to a place where tickets were required. I decisively did not go in. I replanned the route and rode along the road around the lake. I really liked the scenery along the way. It was a scene of harmonious coexistence between man and nature. Personally, I think that if the weather is good, you must ride an electric car around the lake. The scenery you can appreciate is really far better than the quick sightseeing by car.

A failed trip to Napahai! It rained. The bus service around the lake was suspended! The road around the lake was flooded, and the chartered car didn't dare to go through. I didn't see Napahai! I suggest everyone find a sunny day next time and ride a bicycle around the lake😔😔😔

To get to Napahai, you only need to take bus No. 12, and the fare is two yuan. The No. 12 bus around the lake departing from Red Sun Square is great, and the fare is only two yuan. You can get off at any time during the journey around the lake and wave to get on. If you don't get off the bus for the whole journey, it will take about an hour and a half. I just came back from Shangri-La. If you think it's expensive to charter a car, take the bus at Red Sun Square on Changzheng Avenue, a little way north of Dukezong Ancient City, it's really a conscience price. The bus information in Shangri-La is not yet complete, and hotels generally don't easily inform you. If you want to save money to enjoy Napahai, you can choose this mode of transportation. Pictures speak louder than words, but the platform information was not taken, and generally you don't need to wait for a long time to leave.

The scenery of Napahai Grassland is very beautiful. Now you can take bus No. 12 from Hanting Hotel on Changzheng Avenue. It costs 2 yuan to go around Napahai Grassland and Napahai Lake. It is worth it. You don't need to buy tickets. This bus will stop when you wave. The weather was great on the day we came. There were also some tourists riding horses. We didn't ride, but took pictures on the bus. We didn't go into the grassland, so we don't know how much the horseback riding fee is. It takes about an hour to take a bus. Most of the people who enter the grassland will let you ride horses.

Beautiful grassland, August is the time when water is at its highest

Many people say that Napahai Yila Grassland charges an entrance fee. In fact, that is when you go with a tour group or charter a car. The drivers take you to places circled by individuals. They get commissions based on the cooperation. However, there is no need for a ticket if you go around the lake to Napahai on your own.

You can take the No. 12 bus around the lake. The specific boarding location is: Red Sun Square, on the west side of Changzheng Avenue, near the No. 1 bus stop (stop 21); the earliest starts at 8:30, with one bus leaving in both directions every 30 minutes; please note that No. 12 does not run uninterruptedly from morning, the last pair of buses at noon are at 11:30, the first bus in the afternoon is at 13:30, and the last bus is at 16:30; the fare is 2 yuan, and the bus will stop when you wave along the way.

It's nice to walk around the grassland, and there are so many fish in the lake

The swarms of insects on the grassland became the targets of my son's pursuit. The Shika Snow Mountain in the distance was still in the clouds. There were horses and cattle walking around, large wetlands, quiet villages, and endless barley and rapeseed. A peaceful and peaceful pastoral scenery was right in front of us, surrounding us and intoxicated by the grass and the fragrance of flowers. From the plane taking off and landing not far away, we should be able to overlook this natural scenery like an oil painting in a more shocking way.

Walking around the lake, grasslands and lakes interweave, a circle of thirty or forty kilometers, barley racks stand by the lake, waiting for the harvest season. Yaks, Tibetan pigs, and horses are all walking on the grassland, leisurely and contented. The clouds in the distance are getting thicker and thicker, and a heavy rain is coming.

Napahai is the result of the great changes of nature. It is the largest grassland in Shangri-La and belongs to the wetland ecological protection area.

There are many Tibetans here, and many places charge a fee, so be careful when visiting here, as Tibetan grasslands are not allowed to be entered casually.
