It is said that this is the place where Duan Yu met the statue of the Fairy Sister, and there is also a statue of the Fairy Sister inside, which is very out of place. However, overlooking Erhai Lake from above is still a pleasant experience.

By orange |

It is said that this is where the filming of Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils took place. The cave is where the fairy sister lived at that time. To be honest, there is nothing good to see here. It does not feel naturally formed, and there is nothing special about it.

By Bu Zao |

After going up the mountain ropeway, you can enter Tianlong Cave. The ticket price seems to be 90/person. I personally don’t recommend it.

By Shirley |

It is very tiring to climb up and down the stairs in the cave. I personally think that the scenery inside the cave is not worth seeing. The only thing that makes the scenic spot worth the price of the ticket is: when you come out of the cave, the view is open and you can overlook the whole picture of Erhai Lake from the mountain. The mountains, rivers, Erhai Lake and countryside are all beautiful.

By Want to walk more |

Tianlong Cave was the filming location for the film Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils. There's a VR-like experience called Fairy Cave Romance, which I personally found quite realistic and enjoyable. You can then take a cable car up the mountain to Tianlong Cave, which is just average.

By Rainbow's End |

It's a rip-off. It's just a hole with a statue of a fairy sister inside. The ticket is very expensive and it's not worth going at all.

By Deland |

The cable car goes up to see the Tianlong Cave where the film "Tianlong Babu" was filmed. It's really a bad cave and the ticket is not cheap.

By Xiaoyu Zhai Zhai |

We took the cable car to the halfway point of the mountain and took a look at the Tianlong Cave. The cave is quite deep and it is very tiring to walk through it. The cave is quite interesting. After the later processing or naming, some of them are still quite real and similar. Let's take a look at the Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils.

By Leo Sheldon |

It is a cave in Cangshan Mountain. I didn’t take a single photo after entering. So you know. If I hadn’t been taken there by the driver, I really wouldn’t have found this place.

By gogirl |

It’s such a rip-off, rip-off, rip-off, I don’t even want to say more! I regret it so much!

The tour bus took us to Dali Tianlong Cableway Station, and after a few minutes of riding on the small double cableway, we arrived at the entrance of Tianlong Cave on the hillside of Yunnong Peak (one of the filming locations for the CCTV version of "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils"). It is actually a natural cave, and some areas have been artificially modified and illuminated, and given some far-fetched names. The scenery inside the cave is quite good, with strange rocks everywhere. Unfortunately, the tour guide led us too fast, and we didn't have much time to appreciate the customs of the cave.

The tour bus brought us to the Dali Tianlong Cableway Station. A short, two-person cable car ride took us a few minutes to the entrance of Tianlong Cave, nestled on the hillside of Yunnong Peak (one of the filming locations for the CCTV version of Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils). It's actually a natural karst cave, some areas artificially decorated and illuminated, giving it a somewhat contrived name. The scenery inside is quite pleasant, with numerous unusual rocks and peculiar formations. Unfortunately, our guide was too quick to take us through, leaving us with little time to savor the scenery. The cave is over 500 meters long, with the exit located on the other side of the mountainside. Exiting the cave opens up a vast expanse, and the view of Erhai Lake from that mountainside is truly captivating. A vast expanse of pure blue and green directly stimulates the central nervous system, making it easy to forget the fatigue of travel and become immersed in the scenery, as if you were a tiny element in the painting.

The scenery of the cave is good, the rest is just average.

By Zheng Jing from China Unicom Nanyang Road Business Hall |

It's not a very long cave, and the scenery inside is pretty good. It's a bit scary for a girl to walk alone inside. The area along the way is okay, but the special area is not necessary

By university town |

This is the filming location for Jimmy Lin's version of "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils." We took the cable car up and were then led into the cave by our guide. Inside the cave is a stone statue of the Fairy Sister, the same one used in the TV series.

By rainie-s |

Actually, it is the filming location of Tianlong Babu. It seems to be the cave where the statue of the fairy sister is placed.

By Change |

It was okay. The pass included quite a lot. We went to the eye-catching Tianlong Cave. After gathering a bunch of people, we started to enter the cave. We lined up one by one to take pictures with the fairy sister. When we got down the mountain, we could choose to buy photos. I think it was 10 yuan per photo. Then we went into the cave under the red and green lights. We took a photo of my mom in a longevity cave. The green light inside the cave made the photo scary, so we deleted it. Later, at a place, the tour guide said there was one way to exit and the other to continue climbing. My mom couldn't climb anymore, so we left. We then went to Tianlong Temple and Shangguan Flower Park to take pictures. The driver told us that we could also get free tea with the ticket. He introduced four kinds of Yunnan tea, each with its own flavor. He asked us if we wanted to buy any. We said no, and he sent us out with a very polite attitude. Oh, by the way, I bought a half skirt there. The boss asked for 90, then another boss said 100, and my sister-in-law directly asked for 40, which scared me to death. The boss kept lowering the price and finally sold it for 40. If it were me, I might have bought it for 100. I admire my sister-in-law!

By 🌻Warm and sunny |

It's full of twists and turns, real and fake, you can go and see it once

By I'm just a mentally retarded person |

This cable car is worth 40 yuan for a round trip at most. It takes less than 5 minutes to reach the terminal. My fear of heights has not even started to set in. I didn't take any photos inside. There is nothing to take pictures of. It's crazy. This is a tour group of middle-aged and elderly people. Why are there still so many young people? They are so stupid that they got off the cable car directly after walking for a short time. It was a waste of my whole day. Fortunately, there is a high point to take pictures.

By Yuki yearns for the distance |

A very simple cave, not really worth a special trip

By noob |

I got ripped off yesterday. I wanted to take the cable car in Cangshan, so I checked it out. The whole route was filled with touts from travel agencies. Don't go with a separate group! Don't go with a separate group! Don't go with a separate group! The guy said the cable car would take you to the Bai ethnic minority settlement at Erhai Lake, and since we were two students, it would cost 120 yuan each, so we went. Now I think you get what you pay for cheap. The cable car isn't the Cangshan cable car at all, it's the Shangguanhua cable car, which only goes halfway up the mountain. The climb up is exhausting, and there's all sorts of shopping, including silverware and tea (the tea was pretty good; I bought some for an elderly person's birthday). Anyway, if you're a fan of the Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils (the Felix Wong version) and want to hike up to Erhai Lake for photos, I wouldn't recommend it.

By April Caterpillars |

As soon as I entered, I saw people in traditional Chinese costumes taking photos. That was exactly what I wanted to do. Then I took the cable car up the mountain to see Tianlong Cave. It's actually a karst cave that's a combination of natural and man-made structures.

By Right |

It is said to be the filming location for Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, but in fact, it is just a man-made cave in our eyes. It is not worth recommending at all and is not even as good as the small caves in our Hunan Province.

By Red bean paste buns 😏😏 |

I won't comment on the Tianlong Cave scenic area. Okay, the filming location of Tianlong Babu is just a cave. I'm not interested at all. Hahaha. Here is the secret manual of Xiaoyao Sect's "Lingbo Weibu" martial arts. Please keep it.

By 2B pencil with attitude |

It's just average, has a big reputation, but actually there's nothing much to see.

By Write poems for Ni |

I think this small cable car is the least worthwhile. The truly beautiful Jade Belt Cloud Road, which leads up to the Gantong Cable Car and the Ximatan Cable Car, is the most scenic. The only place this small cable car leads to is Tianlong Cave, one of the filming locations for Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils. The mountain overlooking Erhai Lake and Shangguan is quite beautiful...

By Shadow Love |

Tianlong Cave also appears. As for Tianlong Babu, there is also the Fairy Sister

By Boss, give me a bottle of Nutri-Express. |

They all came here for my aunt's training ground, but there's nothing much to see.

By July❤Mandala |

Haha, let me laugh for a second. I was so happy to see the Fairy Sister and even touched her. But so many people were huddled together taking photos, which was quite disappointing. Once inside, I saw all the lights creating a sense of atmosphere. It was actually quite interesting, especially since I love the show "Dragon and the Demi-Gods." Halfway up, there's a fork. Right is a direct exit, while left is just further up. It's like climbing a mountain. Being such a lazy person, I really wanted to exit right, but I gritted my teeth and decided, since I was already here, I might as well climb to the top. And then... I almost died of exhaustion ╮(╯▽╰)╭. This climb was killing me. But once we got out of the cave, we saw a huge row of iron nets covered in heart-shaped locks of all kinds. But I checked my pockets and saw enough dog food to last me a long time, so I just pretended not to see it. Anyone who loves Li Ruotong's version of "Dragon and the Demi-Gods" should definitely come and experience it! Oh, and below Tianlong Cave is Tianlong Temple, so religious folks can go and pay their respects. There are vendors selling fruit in the parking lot near the entrance to the scenic area. If you're tired of playing, you can buy some. The pears are very sweet. Even I, who don't like pears, said they were sweet, which means they're really good.

Dali is renowned for its "wind, flowers, snow, and moon." The recently launched "Shangguanhua-Tianlongdong Scenic Area" in Xizhou Town, Dali City, with an investment of over 18 million yuan, features four key attractions: "viewing the vast ocean, admiring famous flowers, exploring ancient caves, and exploring historical sites." It has attracted a large number of tourists from both home and abroad, achieving significant economic and social benefits. The Shangguanhua-Tianlongdong Scenic Area was built by the Shangguan Village Committee of Xizhou Town, following the directives of the prefectural and municipal Party committees and governments for attracting investment. Following several years of hard work, the area was financed by Beijing Huanyu Weiye Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. and began trial operations on May 1, 2004. The company plans to invest 56 million yuan to meticulously cultivate the "Shangguanhua" brand, one of the four unique scenic spots of "wind, flowers, snow, and moon." In line with Dali City's development plan of "a grand city of mountains, rivers, and gardens, a grand garden of wind, flowers, snow, and moon," the project will be constructed in three phases, including a star-rated hotel, the Tianlong Cableway, dining and shopping facilities, a resort, an ecological zoo, and the development of Tianlongdong, aiming to transform the area into a national-level scenic spot. The first phase of the project has already invested 18 million yuan, building a cable car and parking lot, renovating Shangguan Garden, opening a mountain road, and renovating the lighting inside Tianlong Cave. Other supporting facilities are also gradually being completed. The scenic area integrates sightseeing, shopping, dining, and entertainment, becoming a new highlight of Dali's tourism industry. The Shangguan Flower-Tianlong Cave Scenic Area covers a total area of over 300 mu and currently features the unique Shangguan Garden; the Tianlong Cave, a unique cave in western Yunnan; the historic Longshou Pass; and an ecological zoo covering over 3,600 square meters.

Arrival and departure: You can take a direct bus from any bus station in Dali city.

Don't go with a one-day tour, it's a rip-off!

Never join a tour group, never join a tour group, never join a tour group! Especially those individual tours introduced by local hotels, where the hotel and hotel groups collude to defraud tourists and take huge kickbacks. They promised to go to the Film and Television City and Erhai Park, but ended up taking people to Tianlong Cave. After an hour-long climb, you wait in line for half an hour for the cable car back down... and the tour guide went out to play cards? When asked where the Cangshan Gate was, he said there was no such place... Then he took us to Erhai Lake for a yacht ride (which took ten minutes and we were back). Lunch was even more appalling. Of course, the afternoon was all about shopping. You had to stay for 40 minutes to buy jade, and an hour to buy silver. The tour guide initially acted righteous and straightforward, saying he was inviting us to his home for dinner and being so friendly. Then he bluntly told us to spend money, otherwise he'd end up in last place and have to jump into the sea. Even more bizarre was the tea vendor in Xizhou Town. He locked our group in a small room, making them drink glass after glass of water, and wouldn't let us leave. We had to pay for services... Then the crowd protested, and the tea vendor immediately changed his attitude and started yelling at us...

It is conceivable that everyone in the group did not have a good time and returned home disappointed.

The entrance fee to the park is 70 yuan. Tianlong Cave is just a cave, decorated with all kinds of cool lights. How should I put it, I personally feel it is not worth it.

By smile |

Not good. I probably won't go there again next time I have the chance.

By Safina |

Like other caves, it became famous because of the filming of Tianlong Babu. There is also a statue of the fairy sister inside and it costs 10 yuan to take pictures.

By Name . |

I really don't like this man-made attraction and it's not worth visiting.

By Wang Xiaobai |

Basically, it can be summed up in three words: so-so. Everything is so-so, no special features.

By Xiaoxi Wandering |

This place feels like a complete rip-off. I was tricked into going there by the driver. There wasn't much to see. I had to queue up to take pictures of the stone statues in the cave, and the cave wasn't very big.

By Running towards the grassland |

I saw online that Tianlong Cave is famous, so I signed up for a tour group. I was a little disappointed. The cable car was too short, and the cave had over 1,000 steps, which made climbing them quite boring. The photographers inside were annoying. There was a statue of a fairy goddess, and you had to let them take photos; you couldn't take them yourself. The service was also average.

By The past of three lives cannot compare to the fragrance of the world today |

What a horrible situation! On the way, an old lady stopped me and told me to go to Cangshan Mountain. But I ended up going to some Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils or something. It was just a coal mine, a long cable car, a man-made statue, and a spray-painted Duan Yu. That was it.

By China-TravelNote users |

Very good, the service attitude is very good, it is worth a visit!

By Big naughty pig |

We booked a horrible day trip. This scenic spot is so crooked... It's just a cave with a small garden. Going to the cave was a waste of time because there was nothing to see. There were a few datura flowers in the small garden, but they were all wilted. There was nothing to see. The cable car ride took less than five minutes. One of the most horrible attractions I have ever been to...

Tianlong Cave is the cave where the statue of Fairy Sister is located in Lin Zhiying's version of Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils. It is a karst cave where you can see the statue of Fairy Sister. I personally feel that the rest of the cave is just average.

It's famous for the TV series "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils." There's not much to see inside the cave. It's 800 meters long, with an exit on the right at 400 meters. The last 400 meters, unless you want a panoramic view, involve climbing straight up a series of stairs that nearly killed me. It was exhausting. When I emerged from the highest point, my legs were shaking. I immediately realized how hard Duan Yu must have worked practicing his "Lingbo Weibu" technique. Still, the view of Erhai Lake from this angle is truly stunning, and I almost didn't want to leave. See the Fairy Sister inside Tianlong Cave and Erhai Lake outside. After descending, visit the Ecological Zoo and Botanical Garden.

By Cat Girl |

This scenic spot was not originally in our plan. We were supposed to go to the Tianlongbabu Film and Television City, but the chartered car driver brought us here instead. However, fortunately, we are easy-going people, so since we are here, we decided to take a look.

There's no turning back, so take photos, take them all. Inside the cave, there's a photo booth with the Fairy Sister. If you want a photo, they'll take it for you. Then, at the door, someone will sell you one. I can't remember if it was 10 or 15 yuan. I didn't take it because the photo paper was bad and not worth much, and the photos weren't very good either... Personally, I think the cave isn't very well-maintained, or maybe it was made to look good by the current tourism scene. It's all red and green, and not pretty at all...

Try not to buy anything in the scenic area, this is all old news... It's not big, you can walk around it in a short while, the scenery above is still very good, there is a viewing platform, so you can see the whole Dali, it's very beautiful

By Cat Girl |

It was on the first line of our chartered car, and since it was on the way, we went there. The ticket was quite expensive, 68, but I felt that the interior was not well built and did not show the beauty of the cave. Moreover, the public facilities were also very average, so why was the ticket so expensive... However, because it is high, it is still quite nice to see Dali... I don’t recommend everyone to go there, there is really nothing to see... As for the last step, if you buy a ticket and go up, you may regret it, it is very tiring. However, the ticket is so expensive, and you will regret it even more if you don’t go up...

A good place to overlook Erhai Lake. The gardens at the foot of the mountain are more beautiful, but overall it is not worth going.

The stalactites in the cave are okay, not particularly amazing

By Cherry Blossoms |

The Shangguan Flower-Tianlong Cave Scenic Area, located in Xizhou Town, embodies four key features: "viewing the vast ocean, admiring famous flowers, exploring ancient caves, and exploring historical sites." It's a karst cave, and while it can be chilly inside, the many steps help you cool down. Wear appropriate shoes to avoid falls. The cave boasts rock flowers, stalagmites, pillars, and platforms. The unique shapes, illuminated by the lights, create a breathtaking spectacle. Climbing the steps is exhausting! But the scenery upon exiting is still stunning! O(∩_∩)O~

By sunny |

It is a karst cave with typical stalactites, which are introduced in geography textbooks. There are also fairy sisters and the martial arts secrets of Lin Bo Wei Bu. After exiting the cave, the view of Dali from the hillside of Cangshan Mountain is particularly beautiful.

By cocoy1. |

Since Yunnan has entered the off-season and it was raining, there weren't many tourists visiting, so the cable car lines were shorter than usual. If you want to climb to the top of the cave, you must be in good health. If you feel unwell halfway up, you can exit via the middle stairs. Remember not to put too much pressure on yourself outside. The path inside wasn't easy to walk, so I didn't take any good pictures.

By Xiaoxi Wandering |

It's a rip-off place. They say it's the location for the filming of Tian Long Ba Bu. It's too fake. The cable car is only a short distance away. There's no need to go there.

By Angry dog head |

By In the evening rain, who understands |

It is a karst cave. I have seen enough karst caves in Guangxi, so I don’t feel anything special here, but it is very cool inside the cave.

By Travel the world |

It happened to be the second day of the Chinese New Year when I arrived here. There were so many people, and there were also many people queuing for the cable car. The path in the cave that usually only one person could walk on became three people walking side by side. There were also many people queuing up to take pictures at the Fairy Sister. It was simply a nightmare.

Tianlong Cave is a newly developed karst cave in Dali, located two kilometers north of Butterfly Spring on National Highway 214. Originally relatively unknown, it gained fame thanks entirely to the filming of the television series "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils." A naturally formed karst cave nestled on the side of Yunnong Peak, it stretches 507 meters and resembles a dragon circling the summit of Cangshan Mountain. Tianlong Cave was also the filming location for the film "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils."

This is a rip-off. There's nothing much to see in the cave. The only thing you can see when you come out is the panoramic view of Erhai Lake, which is pretty good. You'd only come here if you were ripped off by a tour group. Don't go with a tour group! Don't go with a tour group! Don't go with a tour group! I can't stress this enough!

Tianlong Cave is a newly developed cave near the Cangshan cableway in Dali Ancient Town. It contains statues of gods and goddesses from the Tianlong Babu Sect. If you are interested in the Tianlong Babu martial arts novel, it is worth a visit. Personally, I don’t think there is anything interesting inside.
