Xishuangbanna Primitive Forest Park is located in a valley called Caiyang River, east of Jinghong District, Xishuangbanna, and north of Lancang River. It is about 8 kilometers away from the capital of Xishuangbanna Prefecture, and is the closest forest park to the capital of Xishuangbanna Prefecture. The forest coverage rate in the park exceeds 98%, making it a natural oxygen bar. There are several scenic spots in the scenic area. Generally speaking, there are not many attractions to visit in the scenic area, but each one is ok. It is recommended to take an electric car because the distance between the attractions is still a bit long.

Unlike Manzhang Village, which is only suitable for children, the primitive forest park is also very popular with parents. The high-altitude plank road here is about 40 meters high. Although it is not as high as the 60 meters of the Wangtian Tree, it is far more there after all. It is good for everyone to experience it. You can hardly see anyone playing this on the Internet. The tour guide sent us to the Rainforest Cultural Square and ended. This tour guide was from the Hani ethnic group and accompanied us for about 2 and a half hours. He did not explain as well as the Pu'er National Forest Park and Botanical Garden. The speed of speech was too fast, and he could only lead the way.

It is very unscientific that there is no walking path. It feels unsafe and inconvenient to walk on the road with the battery car. The park itself is very large, and the level of peacock release and folk activities is relatively high.

We bought the package of the original forest park ticket + battery car ticket + Jungle Leap B in advance, and picked up the ticket and signed at a small wooden house outside the entrance (i.e. the Jungle Leap ticket collection point). We planned to watch the peacock release at 10 o'clock. After picking up the ticket, it was almost time, so we ran to rush in. Fortunately, the peacock release was at the first point after entering the park, not too far away, and we arrived quickly. The actors were already performing the dance, and we found a place to stand and wait for the moment of the peacock release.

As the whistle blew, peacocks flew over from the opposite hill in batches. The scene was spectacular. The release lasted for quite a while, and there were estimated to be hundreds of peacocks. The breeder sprinkled food on the ground, and the peacocks rushed to eat. Visitors can also feed the peacocks for a fee. Several parents brought their children in to experience it.

Walk up a few steps to the battery car boarding point, get off at one stop, there are folk instrument performances and Aini Village. We went to Aini Village first, where tourists were organized to dance bamboo pole dance together, which was simple and interesting.

After the bamboo pole dance, we went to watch the musical instrument performance. Several performers were very talented. Some of them could play several instruments and sing. One of the ladies even performed with leaves. It was amazing. I don't know how a small leaf can play music. She performed very well and threw away the leaf after the performance. It was really an ordinary leaf. It was amazing.

Then we took the battery car to the next stop, which is the terminal. There are restaurants and some snack bars here. There is also a parrot show here, which is slightly different from the parrot show in Manting Park. Here, the parrots can stay on the hands of tourists for photos. Soon, we set off again, and what awaits us is the jungle leap.

The road next to it was under repair. You can enter the primitive forest trail by passing the store. There are some naughty monkeys on the trail. Walking along the trail, there are fewer people. The trees in the rainforest are very tall. You can't see the sun and it feels cold. After walking for a while, you can see the fork of A and B.

After walking for a while, we finally saw the entrance to the jungle jump. Some tourists sat here to watch, and sometimes we could see players sliding on the zipline or free falling. Along with the screams of the players, the watching tourists also exclaimed. I became more and more nervous, but my teammates were more relaxed. After a short rest, I mustered up the courage to enter the entrance. We stored our belongings, put on safety equipment, and climbed a flight of stairs under the guidance of the coach before we reached the real starting point.

The first section is the zipline. You sit down, stretch your legs, and start to slide. After you really start sliding, I don't think it's that scary, it's still quite interesting. There are several more challenging projects with different levels of difficulty. In general, they all went smoothly. In about an hour, we finished the entire jungle leap. It's a pity that the phone was saved, and there was no photo or video of the whole process. The official did not provide a photo service, so I had to keep the ticket as a souvenir.

The scenic spot is average. After entering, there are charged items everywhere. After visiting the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, there is nothing to see here.

Too many people at tourist attractions will always ruin the good mood and coherent artistic conception of travel. Besides the fact that you can't take pictures of the original state and deepness of the forest, you are often pushed and shoved. On the way to Peacock Valley by electric car, you will occasionally run into a mother and son in the front seat. For example, the original forest is on the top of the mountain, so I still recommend that you buy a battery car package. The biggest highlight of the original forest park should be the Peacock Villa. Everyone came here early to watch the peacocks flying. I think it is quite interesting here. First, there is a performance of a Dai girl and a boy secretly in love, and then the peacocks fly down from the white tower on the top of the mountain. It is really the first time to see so many peacocks. I really want to raise peacocks like raising chickens. Originally it was not the right season, so we could hardly see the peacocks spread their tails, and the weather was cold in the morning so they did not spread their tails. But during the noon show, there were a few peacocks who really gave us face... The peacocks spreading their tails is really a beautiful scenery. The forests in Banna are really a unique local scenery. The dense vegetation coverage also allows those of us who often breathe haze to cleanse our lungs. There were not many people in the primeval forest in the morning. I saw the same sky bridge as the Parashorea chinensis. It was much shorter, but the artistic conception was still there haha. Big trees that you can't name can be seen everywhere. In front of the long and tall vegetation, you will feel how small you are... You can also watch the singing and dancing performances and the elephants spraying water performances for free in the forest park. Because we have seen them before, we just skipped these activities.

The chartered driver gave us the option of A+B for 420 yuan, including tickets, electric cars, 21 jungle leaps, 21 play nodes, and a simple meal. My companion and I chose tickets plus electric cars for 100 yuan per person (the price the chartered driver got for tickets was more cost-effective than buying online. Because it was raining more and more when I was halfway through the game, I was worried about safety issues, so I didn't finish the whole game and came back.

One of the peculiarities of Banna is its climate. Sometimes it rains and sometimes it is sunny, so you should bring an umbrella, raincoat, and mosquito repellent. It is best to bring an extra piece of clothing for the children to be prepared. In the primeval forest, we were caught in sudden rain several times, but it went away quickly. Don't worry about the itinerary. Before you go, you can see the weather forecast saying it is raining every moment, and you may worry that your itinerary will be affected. However, the locals will tell you that this is how the rainy season is here. It rains for a while and then stops. It basically rains in the morning and evening. As long as it is not heavy, the scenic spots are open and will not delay your visit.

There are two new and old tourist trails in the primeval forest. We walked on the old trail, which was made of bamboo poles. It was light and comfortable to walk on. It took more than an hour to walk a circle.

There are many peacocks living near Jinhu Lake. When the breeder blows the whistle, these peacocks fly out from the opposite mountain forest, fly over the lake and look for food on the shore. The scene of peacocks flying is very spectacular.

Tips: The Primitive Forest Park is a worthwhile attraction, and I highly recommend it. There are ethnic minority villages and very primitive forests (beautiful, quiet, with gurgling water) in the scenic area. The tour content is also rich, with performances of peacock release, singing and dancing performances, a visit by the Hani people, bamboo pole dance, and zip lines.

It seems that apart from the trees and forests not being commercialized, nothing else has much to offer.

It depends on where you are from. If you are from Fujian or Guangdong like me, I really don't recommend going. There are not many trees and landscapes in it. Except for the peacock flying performance and folk water splashing activities that seem to be meaningless, you can basically find other forest parks near home that have not been damaged or developed.

Here you can ride elephants and watch elephant performances; you can also enjoy the dancing of butterflies; you can also feed birds and take photos with them. The full integration of man and nature made us slow down and enjoy it to the fullest.

Today is the fourth day of the Lunar New Year. There are many people traveling during the Spring Festival. There is a lot of traffic on the road. It is recommended that everyone go out early. We went out at 8 o'clock today. It was only a little bit of traffic jam. It was basically smooth. The ticket sales at the door are pretty good. There are also ticket sales at odd hours. Ticket purchase is also quick and convenient. It is recommended that you buy a full-time electric car for 50 yuan, because its journey is a bit steep, it is a hillside, and it is a bit strenuous to go up the mountain. The electric car is also well planned. Every scenic spot will stop, and there will be a bus stop for getting on and off. Of course, the most worthwhile thing to see is the peacock release (very shocking), which happens once every hour, but if you miss the time to see the peacock release when you enter the park, please take the electric car directly up and go to the scenic spots on the mountain to play one by one. Finally, take the electric car directly from the scenic spot above to the peacock release, because it is only 200m away from the exit.

Today we danced the bamboo pole dance in Aini Village, watched folk dance performances, water splashing performances, peacock release, and visited the tropical rain forest. I think my parents were very happy, so it was worth it for me!

Xishuangbanna has China's only tropical rainforest nature reserve, with a warm and humid climate and lush trees. It was raining when we went there...

The main thing is to watch the peacocks flying, there is nothing else to see, there are some performances of ethnic minority musical instruments, and there are other places, but the oxygen saturation in the forest is very high, walk more in it, and you will feel refreshed.

I don't know if it's the wrong season, most of the peacocks have convex tails, they fly high, and they look a bit miserable when they fall! In addition to the valley rainforest, there is a feeling of primitive forest, but unfortunately you can only walk one section, and the other section is not open for some reason. Other scenery can be seen everywhere in Yunnan, so Yunnan friends may not come! In comparison, the performance in the rainforest square is better! The price of food and drink inside is three times that of outside.

It was just so-so. The local tour guide was nice. He kept introducing the attractions and we had a lot of fun chatting. The attractions themselves were not worth seeing. The peacocks released by the peacock troupe had no hair... There were really a lot of them. I don't recommend you to take photos with elephants. It's really pitiful. Every time someone goes to ride, the elephant will be hit a few times. Ai Ni Village, the suspension bridge and the primitive forest hike are the places where people take more photos.

The original forest park is 20 yuan from Century Jinyuan Hotel in Jinghong City by taxi, and 5 yuan per person by city bus. The original scenery of the forest is indeed very comfortable, but when I went there, one of the two routes was closed for some safety reasons, so the whole tropical valley rain forest that can be visited is relatively small. There are programs for tourists to participate in the village and the cultural square, various ethnic characteristics of the Hani and Dai people, and the release of elephants and peacocks did not have much impact on me. It only took me three hours to walk the whole way.

I didn't save many good pictures. It's really a conscientious recommendation. Of course, for me, a northerner, I really like tropical plants. I can only see them with my eyes. My skills are limited and I'm not good at cards. Moreover, many plants are too big to be photographed at all.

Xishuangbanna Primitive Forest Park not only has beautiful tropical rainforest natural landscapes, but also offers folk cultural experiences such as peacock release, jungle crossing, and folk customs. The experience content is very rich. From the guide I checked before going there, the attitude towards this scenic spot is mixed. From the actual situation, the impression of this scenic spot is indeed heavily influenced by the subjective emotions of tourists. In essence, this is still an old-fashioned scenic spot, but if the projects it provides happen to meet your needs, it is also great.

There are sightseeing buses in the scenic area, and it is recommended to take them. If you can buy sightseeing bus tickets together, you can get cheaper tickets. On the way to buy the sightseeing bus, someone will pull you over and ask if you want to buy a ticket to take the bus. They can help you to form a group. Whether to wait depends on your personal situation. If you are not in a hurry and there are a certain number of people, it is okay to wait. The sightseeing bus driver will check the time and recommend whether to visit the first attraction, Peacock Villa, to watch the performance first, or go directly to the top of the mountain to tour from top to bottom.

Overall, I think this scenic spot is a bit awkward and I don't recommend it. You can get a schedule of performances in the scenic area when you enter the gate. Take the cable car at the entrance to the first stop where the peacocks are released. Take some photos nearby first, then find a front row seat and wait for the peacocks to come. The performance lasts about 10 minutes.

After watching the performance, we felt that there were many tourists gathered in an instant.
