This place is closed for renovation. No one knew about it and no one notified me. I wasted more than 100 yuan in Didi fare. I am so disappointed.
The Yunnan Nationalities Village is really huge and very beautiful.
This place is a microcosm of 56 ethnic groups. Once you're here, you'll almost want to leave. You'll see the distinctive costumes, architecture, and customs of each ethnic group. The scenic area boasts a vast green area, with a vibrant variety of flowers, rivers, small bridges, and blue skies and white clouds all blending beautifully into one. If you're visiting on your own, you can also take a sightseeing bus, which stops on demand and is very convenient. Upon entering, you can ask for a map at the visitor center for a better tour. The highlight is the elephant show, which is truly unique!
The National Cultural Grand View Garden is a gathering place for ethnic minorities, built for viewing. It has some ethnic buildings, but the cultural atmosphere is not strong, and it feels like a large park. If you are in Kunming and short on time, I don't recommend going there. You won't get to know the real thing unless you find a private guide.
In the picture below, some of the buildings are quite distinctive.
Kunming Green Lake is a park that people yearn for for leisure and entertainment. It is free of admission. Flocks of seagulls fly over the shore of Green Lake, and people pick up their cameras and mobile phones to record the spectacular moments.
I spent a short break in Kunming, arriving late that evening and booking a train to Dali the following night. I chose to explore some nearby attractions. The few places I visited were quite nice, but the only thing I wasn't used to was that most bus stops in Kunming lacked signage, making them a bit difficult to find.
I went there with children and the elderly on the weekend. The scenery is nice and the buildings are unique. The elderly can visit the Tea Ceremony Culture Park and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Center, and the children can have fun in the Cloud Park. There are dedicated people in charge and safety facilities are guaranteed. In the Peacock Garden, you can watch peacocks flying and take photos with them up close. After visiting and playing, you can wander around the park and feed the fish. You can taste flower cakes and drink tea in the Flower Cat Shop, eat Yunnan cuisine on the tip of the tongue, watch the float parade, and see Yunnan song and dance performances. It's a pretty good place to visit and worth a visit😊😊😊😊
Located in the Economic Development Zone, it's very convenient to drive there. A national 4A-level scenic spot, the scenery is stunning, and the Peacock Garden is full of peacocks. I went there during National Day this year, and it was very lively. The two daily float parades are unique, and it's currently the only large-scale ethnic parade in Kunming. My favorite parts of Yunduo Park are the Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Hall and the Children's Playground; it's a paradise for children.
My first time here, I felt like I was in paradise. While the exterior wasn't nice and the journey was long, once I entered the gates, I felt completely refreshed. The float parade was also my first time seeing, and it was quite unique. The garden and greenhouse in the back hill were also quite interesting. I highly recommend it to flower lovers and those with children. The overall feeling is that every step brings a new scene; it's like a vast garden. A must-see for anyone who wants to experience the unique characteristics of the region!
When I came to the Grand View Garden, I found it very beautiful, with a lovely environment and charming scenery. The large-scale float performance was especially shocking. The various delicacies, intangible cultural heritage, children's playground, peacock garden, tea culture park and jade museum were all very shocking. It is absolutely high-end and classy, and is a place worth visiting for vacation and leisure.
The surrounding area is still worth a visit, mainly because there are more places for little kids to play. I took my kids there, and the kids had a lot of fun. But there are a few places for adults to relax. It seems that they are still under renovation. I hope there will be more places for adults to play.
The rich Yunnan National Culture and Art Park, the diverse ethnic song and dance medleys, the Yixinyuan Restaurant dishes are still good. As soon as you enter the restaurant, the girls and boys are very enthusiastic. I will come again if I have the chance to have fun and eat. In a word: only the food and the scenery are not to be missed.
Five-star rating, highly recommended! The scenery is beautiful, there's a float parade, and exciting folk dance performances. There's food and fun to do, and it's full of ethnic flavor. I personally think the Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo Park is worth a visit. I loved it and will bring my whole family there next time.
The Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden has a peacock garden, where many peacocks stroll leisurely. It felt as if the peacocks weren't afraid of me at all; I could get up close and personal with them. The architecture here also reflects the characteristics of ethnic minorities. It also boasts a collection of local Yunnan specialties, including food and drinks, allowing you to fully enjoy Yunnan cuisine. There are also large parades and performances... It's so much fun!
The scenic area is very good! There are children's playgrounds, intangible cultural heritage parks, peacock gardens, and many other beautiful places. The staff there are also very enthusiastic and they will actively help you.
I went to the Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden during the National Day holiday. I'd heard it wasn't too far from Kunming, so I decided to go during the holiday. Because other attractions were packed during the holiday, traffic jams were common. We went with my family on the 3rd. It's not too far from the city center, just over 30 minutes away. My first impression was that it was lovely. The environment was lovely, and the atmosphere was festive. The central viewing pool was clear, and there were lots of fish, so it was a great place to feed them, which the kids loved. The timed float parades were also quite ethnic. Then there's the Cloud Paradise and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Park. It's perfect for families with children. The experience was great 👌, and it was a great place for fun and educational activities. Overall, it was a great place to relax with children. 😄

From new-style cross-bridge rice noodles to local delicacies from Wenshan, Jianshui, Tengchong, and Dali, it's a true foodie paradise! It's a perfect choice for a road trip around Kunming!

The scenery is nice and it is suitable for family outings. The people here are also very welcoming and it is a great place to travel.
Come to the Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden, where you can appreciate the purest and most original intangible cultural skills of Yunnan's ethnic minorities, experience the colorful intangible cultural heritage of Yunnan's ethnic minorities, participate in the most joyful and Yunnan-style folk activities, and truly understand the profoundness of Yunnan's ethnic culture through interaction with simple ethnic minority boys and girls.
A friend invited me over, and after searching online for several times, I finally found this place. Well, I'm quite satisfied with the experience. Being far from the city has its pros and cons. It's quite far to get there, and the drive took about half an hour and was a bit stuck in traffic, but there are plenty of playgrounds. I left the kids at Cloud Paradise while I explored a nearby intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall, which showcased many Yunnan cultural products I hadn't seen before. The float parade was truly captivating. 4.5 stars! The kids had a blast and even used a QR code to redeem dough figurines!
The air is fresh and the scenery is beautiful. The local folk art displays are truly beautiful. There is also a "Bite of Yunnan" with local specialties, and the noon float tour allows you to immerse yourself in the scene up close. There are all kinds of handicrafts for children in Yunduo Park. I love playing there all day and I don't want to miss it 👏👏👏
The Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden is a great option for a nearby excursion. It boasts beautiful scenery and is easily accessible. It houses a peacock garden, a jade museum, a tea culture park, a cloud paradise, an intangible cultural heritage park, and an amusement park. During National Day, there's even a unique float parade. The peacock garden features mountains and water, peacocks are released, and there's a Huanglong jade avenue paved with the 12 Chinese zodiac animals. The tea culture park is also excellent, with intricately carved figures and a rich history and culture. Cloud paradise also has a children's play area. Overall, it's a great experience and well worth a visit.
If you're free, you can go feed the fish and enjoy the scenery. If you have children, you can bring them along, as there are plenty of rides. There's so much more to say than just experiencing it yourself.
The scenery is beautiful, the buildings are quite unique, and you can come and play directly.
I have passed by the entrance many times. It seems inconspicuous. During the National Day holiday, I saw that there was free admission, so I came in to play. The park is very large, the scenery is beautiful, and the buildings are quite distinctive.
It's a great place with beautiful scenery, good food, and fun activities. There's also a national float tour. Bring your family for a weekend trip!
We entered through the Peacock Garden and climbed directly to the top. The peacocks were so well-behaved and weren't afraid of people when taking photos with them. We also visited the Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Hall. Yunnan has many ethnic groups and diverse cultures. The playground equipment is all new, and although we still don't know how to use some of them, they're all favorites for our children.
I took my parents there during the National Day holiday, as they had free admission. The elderly in my family love lively places, and we happened to come across a county folk performance, which also gave me a chance to try out my new camera. Overall, there was a lot to see, and I was particularly drawn to a few things: 1. The environment is beautiful, with both greenery and beautiful scenery. 2. The ethnic culture is truly rich, and the highlight is the ethnic float parade. It's more Yunnan-style and impressive than the ones I've seen at Disneyland. I highly recommend it. The map says there are two shows every day. 3. There's plenty for children, both for entertainment and cultural heritage. Although I don't have children, I, as an adult, was very interested. I tried making a Bai Jiama, which was very enjoyable but not too complicated. 4. The city's handmade market has been incorporated, with so many artistic and handmade items on display that I couldn't resist buying them. Overall, it is still very suitable for weekend outings, especially with children, but it is also good to bring parents. Anyway, my two old friends had a lot of fun. Let me show you the pictures, and please praise me for taking good pictures!
Here, you'll experience graceful dances and captivating scenery. Not only will you appreciate the unique ethnic customs and feel the purity of nature, but it's also a children's paradise. You can even stroll with beautiful peacocks!
Very suitable for leisure and entertainment, with ethnic dance performances and beautiful scenery
The scenery is beautiful and there are many fun things to do. There is also a float parade at noon, and there is also a peacock garden where you can watch peacocks flying.
I heard that admission was free during the National Day holiday, so I brought my family here. The environment is truly beautiful, with birdsong and flowers everywhere. There's a large waterfront walkway in the middle of the park, the water is crystal clear, and there are tons of fish. My family loved feeding the fish. The most amazing thing was the parade of floats; it was truly captivating and exciting. My family all followed the floats around the park, creating a truly festive atmosphere. I heard there are two parades daily, both free and fantastic. I don't think you'll find a parade of this caliber anywhere else in Kunming, so it's definitely worth a visit! There's also an intangible cultural heritage exhibition center with lots of hands-on intangible cultural heritage crafts. The kids loved it, and they could learn how to make them with the instructor. I think young people with artistic talents would love this place. Since my elderly family members can't walk, we went up to the park to have a look and let the kids play while they ate and rested in the tent. It was just a bit too hot during the National Day holiday, but otherwise, it was quite nice.
The environment is good, the Dai and Bai ethnic architecture has ethnic characteristics, and there are various special snacks, which are very good👏
With beautiful scenery and fresh air, it is the first choice for self-driving tours

Grand View Garden is a very good place. The scenery is good and there are many things to do. It is worth visiting.
A friend recommended the Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden to me, and I was stunned when I walked into it. It completely exceeded my expectations. The scenery was stunning, the wooden plank roads were so clean I almost couldn't bear to step on them, and there was my favorite lavender. You can even climb up Peacock Garden Hill for a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The local specialties there are excellent and incredibly affordable. The decor inside is amazing, and the little train that runs along the meter-gauge track even goes into the specialty store. 😍😍😍 is such a unique design! If you envy my reviews, if you're jealous of my beautiful photos, then hurry up and visit the Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden, where you'll find the most unexpected surprises!

Nestled between mountains and water, under a blue sky and white clouds, there are beautiful dances of various ethnic groups, which makes my mind completely relaxed. There are also some antiques and artworks left by the people. There are also many peacocks dancing in the back mountain. If you have children, you can bring them here to play. There is a playground and fruit trees. In short, it is worth a visit.

It's worth a visit, there are fun things to do, food to eat, and the intangible cultural heritage is dazzling
I visited the Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden during National Day. I heard it's a 4A-rated tourist attraction. There were performances there during the holiday, and it was packed. Ashima was very beautiful and welcoming. There's also a children's playground, intangible cultural heritage sites, a tea museum, a peacock garden, where you can watch peacocks being released, and try authentic Yunnan snacks. I thought it was quite good. I even brought some local specialties like matsutake and porcini mushrooms home. Ashima, who sold wild mushrooms, was incredibly beautiful, welcoming, and funny. It was a truly memorable trip! I look forward to seeing you again next time.
It boasts a beautiful peacock garden and a pleasant climate. It boasts diverse ethnic architectural styles, an intangible cultural heritage exhibition, a large children's playground, abundant local produce, high-quality cigarettes, and unique snacks. During National Day, there are also large floats and ethnic song and dance performances. It's a delightful sight near Kunming!

Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden has beautiful scenery, Yunnan special snacks, etc., and the consumption is economical and affordable.

Focusing on classic creation, the park inherits the essence of local intangible cultural heritage and provides a comfortable weekend relaxation space for local residents. Building on the theme of Yunnan's ethnic carnival, the park has comprehensively upgraded its landscape and facilities, offering a float parade, ethnic minority song and dance performances, fitness and entertainment experiences for young people and children, Yunnan-themed banquets, garden barbecues, and a cultural and creative market. These initiatives further enrich Yunnan's ethnic culture and gradually enhance the park's leisure functions.
It is a large cultural park with ethnic characteristics, leisure, entertainment and experience. It is beautiful with mountains and rivers. There are peacocks flying and float tours. The children love feeding the fish by the wishing pool and don't want to leave after feeding them.
12 kilometers away from the Shi'an Highway in Kunming city, there is a beautiful park, Yunnan Nationalities Panorama. The scenery here is charming and it is worth bringing your family here for a visit. I won’t say much, just look at the pictures...
A good place, suitable for self-driving tours, with convenient transportation and not far from the city. There are food and entertainment, and the classical architectural style has a strong national flavor.

Friends told me they had a great time during National Day, so I went there with family and friends over the weekend. Unfortunately, we missed the National Day holiday, so it wasn't crowded, but overall, it was a great experience! The environment is great, and the water park is beautiful! We visited the float parade, the peacock release ceremony, the Jade Art Museum, and the Tea Ceremony Culture Park. We stepped into the Chinese Jade Forum and got a glimpse into the evolution of Chinese jade culture. We also witnessed the development of colorful Yunnan jade alongside Yang Liping. Recreating the four seasons of the Ancient Tea Horse Road, the tea-scented Forbidden City, and century-old tea houses, we'll take you on a journey through history and a cultural corridor. You can also personally participate in tea selection and tea making, experiencing the hardships and hard work of generations of tea makers, and writing your own unique historical connection with Pu'er tea through the changing times.

I went for a free stroll during the National Day holiday. The scenery was beautiful, and there were plenty of things to eat and do. It was a little hard to find, though there were no direct buses. Parking was free, so I drove. The clear water, blue sky, and white clouds in the park were a real joy to watch. I also encountered a lively float parade. I visited the market, which had lots of Yunnan specialties. There's also a Cloud Paradise on the mountain, which the kids loved. It's definitely worth a visit. I also went to the Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo Park, where I saw many exquisite handicrafts. These things should be well-preserved.
The grand opening of the Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden, along with the Yunnan Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Base, the inaugural Cloud Carnival, and the opening ceremony of the Kunming Northern Loop Cultural Tourism Promotion Month, took place in Kunming. The upgraded Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden immediately attracted a large number of visitors. Amidst the roar of gongs and drums and the blast of firecrackers, the Yi people of Luquan began their grand blessing ceremony. Elders on stage sang ancient tunes, while the audience engaged in a lively dance, depicting the history of the Yi people with drums. The upgraded Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden officially debuted in the Spring City, and the presence of numerous intangible cultural heritage masters added to the significance of the opening ceremony. The dazzling array of activities provided visitors with a rich holiday experience.
I've been there several times with friends before, and each time it's better than the last. They've added a lot of activities, like ethnic parade performances, a small playground in the back mountain, a zoo, greenhouse flowers, and even culture from long ago, such as hand-dying and weaving, making your own pottery, some of which you've only seen on TV, free sugar figurines, dough figurines, and cotton candy. There are many local specialties, and everything you need to eat and play. I love it.
I went on a trip during the National Day holiday and came to the Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden. I happened to encounter a float parade. Five-star reviews! I absolutely have to give the Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Park a thumbs-up! Highly recommended! Because tickets were free during National Day, my family went. Surprisingly, there was an amusement park! The scenery was stunning, and the parade of floats was absolutely stunning! The kids lined up with the clowns, insisting on getting the balloon animals. There were also so many traditional crafts to try. We queued up to buy a dough figurine of the Monkey King 😊. I personally loved the intangible cultural heritage site. I got a free coupon to make a handmade paper. If the kids hadn't been so tight on time and didn't want to leave the park, I'd have loved making a tie-dye scarf myself. I'll definitely go on a weekend.
Delicious, fun, beautiful scenery! I like it
The Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden is rich in ethnic characteristics, featuring Dai-style architecture, local snacks representing Yunnan's diverse regions, and performances with ethnic charm. You can also admire various products representing Yunnan culture... A trip here is truly unique!
The Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden has a beautiful environment and the buildings are all ethnic minority characteristics. There is a peacock garden where you can watch peacocks flying. There is also a tea culture garden that displays the ancient tea-horse road and the origin of tea culture. It is the most distinctive representative I have seen so far. There is also a large float performance that shows the ethnic characteristics. I personally think it is the first choice for leisure in the surrounding area! There is also Yunduo Paradise. It seems that it was not completed when I went there recently. I will go again when it is completed.

Now there are many cultural things, and the whole family has a lot of fun. I heard that there are also intangible cultural heritage experiences and amusement facilities. After I went there, I saw that it was really great. The facilities are in place and the attractions are also good. It is worth recommending for taking pictures and relaxing.

There is a peacock garden where you can watch peacocks flying, and a tea culture garden that displays the ancient Tea-Horse Road and the origin of tea culture. It is the most distinctive representative I have seen so far. There are also large-scale float performances that show the ethnic characteristics. I personally think it is the first choice for leisure in the surrounding area!
The beautiful environment is a great place to relax during the holidays. We can learn about Yunnan’s ethnic culture and taste Yunnan’s most distinctive snacks, watch the most distinctive ethnic song and dance performances, and when you enter the Peacock Garden, you can see many peacocks that you can get close to. Walking inside, there is the National Treasure Garden, which is dominated by the Yellow Dragon Jade Avenue with flowers!
It is very unique and worth visiting. You can check out the traditional handicrafts of Yunnan's intangible cultural heritage. Everyone serves with a smile. It is a good place to relax your body and mind.
During the National Day holiday, I went to the Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden. It was quite nice, with a large float show and the Yunnan Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Center. It offered a one-stop service for food, drinks, and entertainment. The activities at the Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Center were quite interesting, including papermaking and bamboo weaving. I've forgotten some of them, but I personally tried them myself. It was very good. The guy was handsome and the service was great. I'll definitely go back if I have the chance.
The map provided by China-TravelNote is quite accurate. It takes only half an hour to drive to the place near the Xishan District Government. It is on the right side of the highway and is very easy to find. When I went there, I happened to encounter a song and dance show and a float parade. The song and dance show looked very professional, and the floats were also very beautiful. Then I tasted the Pu'er tea brewed by a beautiful tea artist for free at the tea bar by the pool. I felt it was delicious and not expensive, so I bought a piece. There are so many beauties in it, and everyone who goes there will know. There is also a peacock garden inside, which is quite large. I didn't go hiking, but walked down the mountain. The greening is very good and there are many peacocks. The most exaggerated thing is that there is a passage in the peacock garden that is paved with Huanglong jade. It is really luxurious. In short, the air is fresh, the scenery is beautiful, there are beautiful women everywhere, and the scenic area is rich in content. It is worth the trip.
Yunnan Nationalities Grand View Garden was a must-see attraction for group tours in the past. It showcases the life and habits of Yunnan's ethnic minorities and offers a wide variety of food, drink, and entertainment.
I remember that I could see peacocks, float parades, and lots of shopping stores. It was quite joyful.
The road in front of the Grand View Garden is the only way from Kunming to the Stone Forest. It used to be a bustling area, but with the opening of the expressway, it has fallen into decline. I wonder if it will be reborn after adjustments to its business model.
Colorful Yunnan is another name for this scenic spot.
